Sexuace (sexual asexual)

An umbrella term for aces/acespecs whose attraction, actions, experiences, and/or feelings could be considered sexual; seems or feels "too sexual to be asexual". Examples: sex favorable, experiences sexual attraction (e.g. greysexual, demisexual, fraysexual, lithosexual, schrödisexual, etc.), desires/in sexual relationships. Basically anyone who connects to this term in any way is free to use it, even if it's not one of the examples I specifically listed above.

This was inspired by romoaro (romantic aromantic), I wanted to make an ace version.

The flag(s) are based off of the alt romoaro flag by @arokill here. I changed the first 3 stripes to purple, for ace. The last 3 stripes to warm grey, to be more purple-y and also because I think warmer colors are fitting. And the middle stripe is red to represent the sexual part of the term.

There's also an alt flag with 7 stripes instead of 9. The meaning isn't any different, I just thought a simpler version could be nice.

arofriend: a term for a relationship in which aromanticism is involved. arofriend is largely open to the user's interpretation, and is not inherently attached to any particular sort of relationship, be it partnered, non-partnered, romantic, platonic, queerplatonic, unlabled, etc. potential meanings may include:

an intersection, intertwining, or connection of a relationship to aromanticism

an aro term akin to boyfriend/girlfriend/joyfriend

a friendship involving or between aros

simply a term of affection / endearment

can also be used to refer to oneself! (like ‘local arofriend’ for example)

otherwise feeling the word arofriend describes one's relationship

in general, if you like the term, you can use it, i am not one to gatekeep

Heartless Aromantic: A heartless aromantic is an aro that feels separated from romance and any or all forms of love. Heartless aros may feel separated from romance and love because they feel disconnected from these ideals, because they feel rejected by these ideals, or because they have discomfort surrounding these ideals.

A heartless aro may also choose to identify this way in order to reclaim the narrative that being aromantic makes you heartless.

In this post i will be coining a new term for the aromantic community;;

Somewharo

First Flag: [START ID: a rectangular flag with 6 equally-sized horizontal stripes, going from a dark teal to yellow :END ID]

Second Flag: [START ID: a rectangular flag with 9 equally-sized horizontal stripes. the first four stripes are a gradient from light blue-green to dark blue-green, the middle stripe is off-white, and the last four stripes are a gradient from dark green to soft yellow-green :END ID]

Somewharo is a term for those on the aromantic spectrum who feel like they are somewhere on it and just can’t place where. They either don’t fit into any of the pre-existing arospec labels, or fluctuate a lot on the aro spectrum, or can’t place where due to neurodivergency.

People who use this term may or may not use aroflux alongside it.

Shout out to @arokill for the white stripe flag!

Lovesick:

A punk term coined in relation to aro to describe both an affinity and rejection for “love” and its associated concepts ; love, romanticism, or otherwise assumed “romantic” actions or feelings, pushed past it’s limit, often to to the point of repulsion or it feeling sickening ; traditional lovesickness experienced in an unconventional or transversive way [Term was made with romance repulsed romo aros and aros who got torn between loveless and arolovic in mind, but it isn’t exclusive to aros. Lovesick is a punk term and may apply to anyone, the definition is descriptive for the people already using it. If you feel it applies you can use it.]

Day 1 of @mogai-headcanons event! Prompt was lesbian | veldian/gay man | gay. (I hope its ok I joined late oops). The first flag is a recolor of the 2017 Gilbert Baker flag by arokill and I just eyeballed a slightly desaturated version of the lesbian and veldian flag bc I looks better to me.

The fourth is Commander Peepers from Wander over Yonder pointing his right hand upwards confidently with a slightly desaturated gay man/veldian flag behind him. He’s a small vaguely humanoid creature with an eyeball, with a red iris, in place of a head, a short body and bean shaped feet. He’s wearing a black bodysuit with a red lightning bolt symbol on his chest, red shoes and wrist sized gloves and a black helmet with a yellow lightning bolt in the middle pointing up vertically. The flag has five horizontal stripes, the colors are dark blue green, light blue green, white, light blue and dark blue purple. Lovelessromantic: someone who cannot feel love/feels disconnected from love in any way, but can feel (romantic) attraction/doesn't feel disconnected from the concept of romance.

This can be both its own orientation, but can also be paired with other labels, such as "loveless biromantic," for example. People on both the alloromantic and aromantic spectrums can identify as lovelessromantic.

The layout was inspired by most loveless flags, the green stripes stand for the lack of love and aromantics, and the magenta stripes stand for romance and alloromantics. The bluish purple and cyan were added for people whose lovelessromanticism is its own thing, rather than lovelessness and romanticism separately.

Aplatonic (apl for short) flags part 4 :3 🍏🟩🟦🟪 (This set uses green+blue+purple, there's another set that uses yellow for apl instead.) (Due to the image limit, this is split into 4 posts.)

I noticed some a-spec flags were missing tertiary counterparts, so I made some. Some of these flags have already been made before, so they're not all original (I still wanted to have all the flags together in a set, and all in the same res).
