pairing- eddie munson x fem! reader

summary- watching eddie and his band practice then seeing them play at the hideout with a bigger crowd then usual has you smiling ear to ear!

a/n- i was inspired by a specific lana lyric from the song brooklyn baby so if you’d like listen to it while reading. something light and fun for you guys but i plan on writing a steve fic next so look out!

"hey eddie, can i come to todays practice?" i ask handing him is guitar from off his wall. "of course, you think i'm gonna leave my girl behind" he says while grabbing his guitar from my hands. he gives me a kiss, resting his free hand on my hip. i melt into his touch and his soft lips. "let's go before we are late" i say as i pull away, "awe but they can wait, we can be a little late" he says with a smirk on his face. "not this time eddie" i say as i pull him outside. "after you my love" he says as he opens the car door for me. i thank him and get inside smiling.

we arrive and watch as jeff and gareth set up for practice. "hey guys!" i say as eddie and i walk up the driveway hand in hand. i give eddie a kiss and let him set up with everyone else. i walk past them grabbing my usual chair setting it up to watch them play.

sitting down i wait to tell them the news until they are fully set up. i try my best to hide my excitement until i catch eddies eyes. once they are all set up i decide it's time.

"i have a quick announcement to make before you guys start" i say as they all look at me waiting for me to continue. " so you know how you guys are suppose to play at the hideout next tuesday?" i say smiling. "well i made a few calls and spent way too long convincing the manager but..." i trail off and eddie joins in" babe spit it out" he says excited. "i got you guys a gig for next friday instead! so more people will be their and you guys can play for a bigger crowd!" i say as i hear cheering and thank you's from the boys.

eddie puts his guitar down and tackles me in a hug, "god you're the coolest girlfriend ever" he says smiling and planting kisses all over my face. "it's the least i could do for you eds" i say to him. "now go start practicing for friday" i say as he walks back getting ready to pick a song.

in a few days from now corroded coffin will be playing at the hideout. i managed to get a friday instead of the usual tuesdays, and they were all so excited about it. "this could be a chance to expand our audience from our 5 drunks" eddie says smiling ear to ear. i was proud of him and attended every practice they had.

it was the day before the bands big performance and eddie was nervous. sitting on his bed i watched as he paced back and forth. "eddie you'll do great tomorrow, i'll be watching like i always am!" i say as he falls onto the bed. i begin playing with his hair and i feel his relax into my touch.

"i'm just nervous princess" he says and i grab a nearby lighter. "well i think i have an idea to take away those nerves" i say as he faces to look at me and i light up the lighter. i give him a wink and he says "now you're onto something".

it was the day of their performance i am getting ready at eddies trailer. "look babe, i made a shirt with the bands name on it" i say as i show him the corroded coffin shirt i made. he smiles and gives me a kiss, "how did i get so lucky?". "hmm i don't know" i say as i get back to finishing up.

"how do i look?" he says as he sprays his cologne and puts out his blunt. "you look hot, kinda scared the girls will fall for you" i joke with him and he laughs. "my eyes are only on you y/n" he says as we walk out and head to the hideout.

we walk backstage and start getting ready to set up. " i'll be in front cheering you all on" i say to the group as i wish them luck. i find my way to the front as i see the place crowded. it's completely opposite to the tuesday sessions they play.

they are set up and eddie looks at me smiling from ear to ear. he mouths 'i love you' to me as the manager walks on. i blow him a kiss and he catches it. "for tonight's musical guest we have corroded coffin" the manager announces and i cheer loudly.

they play and the crowd seems to be enjoying it while a few have gathered around me cheering. most of them drunk but it still counts in my eyes. "hey do you know them?" someone asks me as i cheer them on "yeah, the lead guitarist is my boyfriend" i say as i point to eddie. "that's so cool, he seems really cool" they say as they continue rocking out.

after the show eddie couldn't stop telling me how excited he felt seeing a bigger crowd. the whole car ride consisted of him talking about it and i swear i've never seen him so happy. we got back to his trailer and he puts his guitar away. "they loved you eddie, someone even came up to me saying how much they enjoyed it and called you cool" i say giggling. he laughed "...but sorry eds, you're not as cool as me" i say as i wrap my arms around his neck kissing him. " you're damn right" he says deepening our kiss.
