╰┈➤𝐒𝐘𝐏𝐍𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐒: You found yourself stripped of your immortality, a punishment for daring to flout the edicts laid down by your father. Your transgressions? Two-fold. First, the grave sin of disobedience, and Secondly, the cardinal offense of falling irrevocably in love with your Lady in waiting. In your father’s eyes, the sanctity of your divinity was tarnished by a same-gender relationship, a concept that he vehemently repudiated as aberrant and abhorrent. Such unforgivable love, he pontificated, dulled your goddess-like essence. Thus he used his powers and casted you adrift into a parallel universe suffused with curses and sorcerers whose love aren't really the healthy type of love, a punishment to show you that ‘Love’ isn’t all about sunshine and rainbows.

LEISURELY AND GRACEFULLY STROLLING along the intricately designed and curving hallways of your grand fortress, the melodic echo of each step you took resonated harmoniously in the peaceful atmosphere, while the  touch of your heels met the gleaming crystal ground beneath you, causing your very own image to disperse and reflect through the pristine transparency of the exquisite material.
The  chandelier hanging above emitted a light gleam, resembling the vibrant shade of crimson red, while the light bathed the corridors in a delicate crimson glow, illuminating the exquisitely detailed drawings adorning the fortress walls, and suspended in mid-air was a red colored crystals, floating on the air, their movements seemingly autonomous.
As you took each step, your hair swayed and bounced in synchrony, its lustrous strands reflecting beams of the crimson light of the chandeliers. The delicate pearls and intricate jewelry that adorned your figure jiggled with every move you make, However, as you strode forward, your attention was suddenly drawn when a voice spoke.
“Lady [Name],”
A soft and melodic voice, seemingly hollow yet penetrating, reached your ears. The words flowed from their lips with a delicate sweetness. You turned and spun around, the tinkling sound of your jewelry resonating through the momentary silence.
Meeting the gaze of the caller, whose eyes resembled the  depths of the ocean, the caller’s eyes reflected adoration, their pupils dilated, and so did your own.
And your solemn expression transformed into a beam.
“Ataraxia!”
“Mhm, it’s me, princess,”
Ataraxia offered a subtle nod and  bowed before you. A smile graced her succulent lips, Her sleek black tresses cascaded down her neck as she lowered her head, revealing the intricate crystal blue and golden jewelry that adorned her neck and collarbone.
Your excitement over seeing her was palpable, evident by the rapid clicking of your heels against the crystalline ground. It almost seemed as though the force of your footsteps could shatter the delicate surface, yet somehow it held strong. Without hesitation, you enveloped her in a tight embrace, drawing your bodies close together.
As the warmth of your hug enveloped her, ataraxia couldn't help but release a soft, joyful giggle. She couldn't help but wonder why you were particularly affectionate today, as you weren't usually so physically demonstrative. Typically, you were filled with boundless energy, though your quirks occasionally teetered on the edge of eccentricity.
However, she understood that being unconventional and weird  was simply a part of who you were—and she loved you for who you are. It didn't bother her, especially considering the fact that you had lived a sheltered life within your own empire, with minimal interaction aside from the servants and your father.
“Missed you so much, ‘raxia, haven’t seen you in days..” you murmured, burying your nose into the delicate nook of her neck, your warm breath ghosting over her skin.
Ataraxia reciprocated your sentiment, her voice just above a whisper, “I missed you more.”
Her azure eyes darted around the area, on the lookout for any prying eyes. The relief that washed over her when she realized they were alone was almost palpable.
“We should probably find a more private place, yeah?” Ataraxia gently suggested, pulling away slightly from your embrace, head tilting to the side inquisitively and pretty ocean blue eyes observing the confused look on your face.
“It’s improper for us to show such affection in public, where prying eyes are everywhere.” She explained gently.
“We musn’t indulge in it, do you not agree, sinta?”
Ataraxia inquired, observing the subtle movement of your eyebrow and the way your smile abruptly transitioned into a frown.
“Right..” you acknowledged, releasing a sigh filled with disappointment.
She raised one eyebrow in curiosity at your reaction, her  fingertips firmly holding onto your chin as she observed the subtle movement of your hyoid bone with every breath you exhaled.
“Are you mad?”
She queried gently, the hues of her bright blue eyes delving into the depths of your own [E/c] orbs in search of a response, pondering if her words had caused you offense. Releasing your chin, she shifted closer to you, leaning in as her lips hovered just above yours.
“Don’t be.” Her words were barely audible as you released a sigh, moving your face closer to the curve of her neck, taking in the fragrant aroma of jasmine that surrounded her like a cloak.
“I’m not, don’t fret,” you assured,.
Upon hearing your reassurance that you are not upset, she visibly relaxed, you could see the faint movement of the muscles on her neck relax from its previous tense state, and it made you smile as you pulled away.
“I’ll never get mad at you, you’re my world after all... My soul.” You said with a closed eyed smile.
“I know, but i can’t shake this nagging doubt that perhaps you are  teetering on the precipice of anger...” Ataraxia revealed, her lips contorting into a  pout that stirred a quizzical arch of your eyebrow, followed by a chuckle that bubbled up from within your throat, finding her cute.
“Not mad, m’love. ‘just realized that you’re right” you murmured tenderly, taking her hand and pressing a reverent kiss upon it.
“Are you certain, love? I harbor no desire for a rift to fester between us,”
With a decisive nod, you assured her,
“Beyond doubt, my dear.”
A warm smile enveloped your features as you tenderly placed a hand upon her shoulder, guiding her with deliberate care towards the shared sanctuary of your quarters.
Throughout the whole walk, you were silent as the realization of ataraxia’s words set in—that displaying affection in public was not an option for several reasons.
Firstly, your father held homophobia and despised homosexuality. Secondly, your relationship with Ataraxia remained clandestine. Thirdly, homosexuality was considered a significant taboo in your world, as men were presumed solely for women, and vice versa. The idea of men loving men or women loving women romantically was shunned and a taboo.
And yet, that was precisely what you were engaged in—a same gender relationship. Furthermore, there was the final obstacle of being in a relationship with a servant.
Ataraxia, much like yourself, was a goddess, but her family had assigned her as your lady-in-waiting. From the time you were on the brink of adolescence, Ataraxia had been faithfully by your side. Despite the societal constraints, both of you had developed a deep affection for one another.
Because How could you not? You cherished the way Ataraxia provided guidance on various matters, the way she imparted knowledge, the way she described the world beyond your secluded existence dictated by your father's iron fist, her personality is pleasant and Her physical appearance was an added bonus, as she was undeniably beautiful.
Conversely, Ataraxia adored your lively spirit, a stark contrast to her own calm demeanor. However, as they say, opposites do really attract. In addition to that, the contrast between you and other members of royalty is remarkable. They communicate in a regal manner, exuding power and elegance, while you express yourself with a delicate, sweet, and casual tone, yet you still manage to uphold an air of grace, thus you stand apart from them as someone who remains untainted, despite being influenced by your own father's manipulation and brainwashing during your upbringing.
But therein lay the predicament. Regardless of the depths of your love for one another, being together was an impossibility as long as the absurd laws outlawing homosexuality lingered and your tyrannical father reigned.
If it were ever discovered that the two of you engaged in a romantic relationship, severe consequences awaited. While you were willing to take the risk, Ataraxia hesitated. She feared that her family would suffer the wrath of your father alongside you, and you couldn't blame her for feeling that way. After all, your father was known for his merciless nature.
Your father, he who rules the universe, Aionarch, held the esteemed title of the ruler of all gods, and the god of eternity, reigning over both the realm of the living and the deceased. As a primordial god and the creator of the world, he was extremely powerful and was immensely respected and fear, and under normal circumstances, you would have taken great pride in being his offspring, but Alas, his despicable personality and tyranny had tarnished any sense of admiration you could have harbored for him.
As a goddess and his child, you inherited certain powers from him, such as the ability to shape-shift and communicate with animals and the dead. However, your primary abilities consisted of pyrokinesis and cryokinesis.
Nevertheless, you had yet to fully master your cryokinetic powers, leaving you reliant on your pyrokinetic abilities, which proved to be relatively simple to wield. Regrettably, you had only primarily employed these powers for mundane tasks, such as culinary preparations, and never in a battle, because your father would get mad in seeing your precious and delicate skin get ‘tarnished’, or as he claims.
Although you possessed a retinue of servants, your father, Aionarch, insisted on teaching you the culinary arts, proper etiquette, and other artsy stuff, deeming them necessary for a goddess like yourself, solely because of your gender. This notion infuriated you, as his misogynistic, homophobic, manipulative, and overall abusive behavior had become all too familiar.
Throughout your entire existence, you had been confined within your father's realm, only interacting with him, the other divine servants, who comprised both goddesses and gods, fairies, arcanittes, cheirovile, and a small number of demigod slaves.
As the gods forbade any interaction with humans, as they considered such relationships repugnant, since mortals could never be on par with divine beings, thus, only divine beings could reproduce with each other, and Consequently, anyone who dared to engage in a romantic relationship with a human faced severe punishment and their offspring, if any, were promptly reduced to the status of slaves—The demigods.
You empathized deeply with these unfortunate slaves, as a single misstep could result in unimaginable torment. They were not treated as individuals but rather as subhuman creatures, subjected to degrading treatment and regarded as mere training dummies, an object at that. An object that is to be degraded and to be destroyed.
You vividly recalled your father urging you not to extend pity to these individuals, asserting that they deserved the divine punishment, for disobeying the ridiculous rules he had made, thus, he insists that they brought forth the misfortune that has bestowed upon them.
Divine punishment, or as people calls it.
Divine punishment was the worst punishment anyone could ever suffer. According to him, anyone who dared to defy him would suffer his wrath and endure divine retribution.
Another thing, is that divine punishment was not the typical disciplinary measure—where people would go to jail or get whipped 30 times. it was absolutely more brutal than that.
Every single day, those condemned to such a fate endured relentless torture, both day and night, for all eternity. Moreover, anyone who extended a helping hand to those subjected to divine punishment would inevitably share the same fate.
And the punishment, wasn't very pleasant, and you know it too well.
Because you had experienced it too, albeit, a less worse than the others, because you had attempted to alleviate the suffering of one of these tormented souls. Fortunately, your father's retribution towards you was not as severe as that inflicted upon the other nefar.
Nonetheless, the dreadful experience left behind a permanent scar on your back, each stroke of the whip searing through your flesh and delving into your inner muscles, striking your spine repeatedly till it shatters and your divine powers would work to heal the wounds and prevent you from dying, but albeit, it was all useless, because they wouldn't stop until Aionarch had deemed that you had been disciplined enough.
It gets even worse than that. Not only were they subjecting you to painful whippings, but they were also adding fucking salts into your wounds. These salts would seep into your open flesh, penetrating deep into your inner muscles, causing them to contract and intensify your pain.
The irritation they caused your muscles was unbearable, inflicting excruciating pain upon you. Furthermore, they haphazardly sliced off two of your fingers and thrusted a sword infused with acid into your skull. They even twisted it, resulting in a sickening squelching sound that merged with the painful thwacks of the whip striking your  back.
However, amidst this horrifying ordeal, there was a slight glimmer of mercy. Fortunately, the torment inflicted upon you lasted only for a duration of two hours. This was due to the benevolent intervention of your father, who, in his somewhat twisted display of kindness, believed that you had been adequately disciplined. Consequently, he saw fit for you to embody the qualities of a true goddess rather than resemble a pitiful princess who defies her father's commands.
However, it may come as a surprise to many individuals as to why you would assist one of those individuals who had endured the consequences of divine punishment, ultimately resulting in your own torture.
The individual you extended your help to happened to be Xeranthi, your biological mother.
Similar to you, your mother possessed the abilities of a goddess and could manipulate both flowers and light. Xeranthi, just like you, was a victim of aionarch. Despite her tragic circumstances, Xeranthi exuded a sense of sweetness, gentleness, and care towards others.
Her inherently cheerful and lively nature captivated the hearts of numerous individuals who admired her exceptional beauty and heavenly demeanor. Moreover, her pleasant personality added to her allure and charm. She had been living a blissful life, filled with contentment and satisfaction, until aionarch abruptly entered the scene, shattering her tranquility as he forcefully snatched her away from her freedom, coercing her into an unwilling marriage.
After aionarch had taken advantage of her, she eventually ended up having you, and she held a profound hatred towards you because you were never intended to exist. You were the unwanted consequence of her pain and suffering; you embodied the repercussions. It was unsettling for Xeranthi to see that you inherited your father’s [E/c] eyes and even his features, which evoked a shiver of unease within her.
The expectation was for her to despise you, but how could she? The moment you entered the world and locked eyes with her, your innocent and doe-like gaze instantly melted her heart. The way you giggled and radiated sweetness towards her was something she didn't experience with aionarch, and it brought her immense joy. Xeranthi was grateful that you didn't grow up to resemble aionarch; she found solace in the fact that you were different.
Xeranthi made a brave attempt to protect you from the harm caused by your father. She desperately sought to remove you from that dangerous environment when you were about sixteen years old. Being your loving mother, Xeranthi could not bear to witness you enduring the same suffering she went through.
Tragically, her plan was foiled and she faced severe consequences, as she was accused of kidnapping the cherished daughter of aionarch, which was you.
This divine punishment was imposed upon her due to her audacious act, and you tried to help her but ended up getting harmed too.
Suddenly, Your thoughts were abruptly interrupted by a thunderous, resonant voice that belonged to aionarch, causing your stomach to instantly sink with trepidation. The chamber, otherwise deserted, seemed to reverberate with your father's commanding tone, making your heart race and threaten to burst from your ribcage.
“Fair maiden, come to my chambers. We shall discuss matters of utmost importance. Do not dawdle, for my patience is dwindling”
Ataraxia's face displayed concern as her brows knitted together, and you could see the tension in her clenched jaw, a clear sign that she was worried for your wellbeing.
“Have you done something wrong?” she asked, her concern evident. You shook your head in response, assuring her that you were innocent.
“No”
”Do you think he knows?” she asked with a breathy voice, her worried eyes searching yours as she grasped your hand in hers, seeking comfort and support. Trying to dispel her fears, you spoke,
“I highly doubt it,” you replied, trying to ease her concerns
“Perhaps he wants me to do something or maybe i fucked up another etiquette lessons again ”
Frustration laced your words as you almost snarled, punctuating your frustration with vulgar language.
“He’s so fucking—”
Ataraxia gasped at your choice of words, immediately tightening her grip on your hand, her pointed nails inadvertently pressing pressure and piercing your flesh to abruptly halt your speech.
“Please refrain from using such vulgar language! It is improper,” she chastised you, causing you to wince as your wounded hand began to heal naturally, your anger still simmering beneath the surface.
“You and your overly strict morals,” you grumbled, Criticizing her for her perceived excessive moral standards and observing as your skin regenerated and the blood disappeared.
“It's not strict; it's simply adhering to basic societal norms,” Ataraxia retorted, releasing your hand.
“Whatever,” you muttered dismissively.
"You will face consequences for your behavior. Acting un-princess-like is unacceptable," Ataraxia murmured, prompting you to raise an eyebrow.
“Is 'un-princess-like' even a word?” you pondered, realizing that you had never come across it before.
“Whether it's a real word or not, you will be punished,” Ataraxia brushed off your question, causing you to groan.
“Punishment here, punishment there, punishment everywhere,” you grumbled, feeling overwhelmed by the constant discipline, because this is seemingly like an endless cycle of retribution.
“Yes, exactly,” Ataraxia agreed.
“I'll be fine,” you muttered, noticing the tension in her body language. Leaning closer to her, you pressed your lips against hers in a tender kiss.
“Promise me,” Ataraxia pulled away from the kiss and gazed into your eyes, seeking reassurance.
“I promise, cross my heart and hope to die, i take an oath by my father's name.” you vowed, placing your index finger over your heart and making a cross-like motion.
“But then, if i don't come back unscathed, that wouldn't be a problem, for i would die for you.”
You said with a smile.
“You’re making it sound like you’re gonna die...” Ataraxia murmured, feeling a sense of foreboding creeping over her.
She surely hoped that you’ll be okay.
After all, she knows how cruel aionarch is.

As you entered your father's chambers, a wave of coldness washed over you, causing the breath you're exhaling through your mouth to visibly frost in the air and come out as puff of breaths.
The red lights overhead flickered intermittently, casting an eerie crimson glow throughout the room. With cautious steps, you walked on the crystal floor, the sound of your heels clicking on the ground echoing in the otherwise silent chamber. As each footfall connected with the crystal, it began to emit a soft, illuminating glow, mirroring the radiance of the chandeliers. Shadows twisted and danced on the walls as you continued forward.
With a mixture of reverence and trepidation, you knelt down on one knee, dipping your head low as a sign of respect.
“Dearest ethereal Father,” you whispered, the words barely audible in the stillness of the room. It felt as if the entire atmosphere held its breath, waiting for your next move.
“I have come as you beckoned,” you spoke, maintaining your lowered position and avoiding raising your head. The delicate fabric of your dress brushed against the floor, its threads resembling the softness of fine wool.
“Rise, fair daughter.” commanded your father, his voice deep and resonant, carrying an air of authority that never failed to send shivers down your spine. Slowly, you stood up, straightening your posture with great care. You lifted your chin high and puffed out your chest, mindful not to display any sign of weakness or disobedience. Back then, your father had chastised you for slouching, claiming it was unbecoming of a goddess like yourself. The memory lingered in your mind, a constant reminder of the expectations placed upon you and you couldn't help but feel bitter.
Such expectations on you was placed upon your shoulders ever since you were a child.
“Thank you, father,” you responded, feeling a twinge of discomfort in your voice. At this moment, all you wished for was to be safely nestled in the arms of ataraxia, far away from the intense presence of your father. But alas, you remained in aionarch's chambers, bound by duty and obligation.
“Did I grant you permission to speak?”
You were overcome with a sense of dread as a chilling sensation coursed through your veins, causing goosebumps to erupt on your skin. This unsettling feeling made your hand involuntarily twitch, and in response, you clenched your fists tightly, causing your nails to dig into the soft flesh of your palms.
“No, you did not, i apologize” you mutter, the words escaping your trembling lips, you quickly lowered your head in a submissive gesture, attempting to apologize for your foolishness, because that's what Aionarch liked—Submission and control.
“Please find it in your heart to forgive your poor daughter's indiscretion,”
You fought the urge to wince, the words just felt so fake coming out of your mouth.
Your heart raced in your chest, and your throat felt constricted as your father finally revealed himself before you. His imposing figure towered over you with an astonishing height of 370 cm, a mere glimpse of his human form or whatever. In contrast, you stood at a mere 7'9 feet tall, making you feel incredibly small and insignificant.
His hair, was heterochromic colored, the other one was white as freshly fallen snow and the other one was as black as an obsidian, it flowed down his broad shoulders like a cascading waterfall. It had a softness akin to the finest wool, and intricate carvings in the form of letters adorned his face. Some of these carvings bore the words "eternal" and "death," among others. His eyes shared the same [E/c] shade as yours, but his sclera were as black as the endless void. His skin was pale and delicate like a lily, accentuated his succulent lips and well-shaped nose and Overall, his physical appearance was undeniably attractive.
His long, slender fingers gently combed through your [H/c] hair and a shiver ran down your spine, sending a tingling and an unpleasant sensation in your body. His fingers effortlessly weaved through your locks, leaving a trail that felt as smooth as fine sand. Despite feeling discomforted by his touch, you kept your head bowed low, acquiescing to whatever he wants to do, but admist it all, you knew that there was a patronizing quality to his touch that unsettled you to your core.
“Tell me, my dearest daughter,” Aionarch whispered, his voice as cool and calming as the night breeze by the sea.
“What do i hate the most?”
His question made you shift uneasily, even as you maintained your low posture. It struck you as odd that he would ask such a question when he already knew the answer himself.
“Disobedience and disloyalty,” you answered with a tightly pressed line of lips, aware of the consequences your response might bring.
But still, curiosity sparks within you—why is he asking you that?
“Very well, my dear,” Aionarch murmured approvingly, his voice dripping with satisfaction.
“And what did you do? haisayu?” he suddenly inquired, causing a sickening feeling to churn in your stomach. The intensity of his presence grew, and it felt as though he controlled your very breath, taking away your autonomy. It was as if his penetrating gaze could pierce through your flesh and bone, causing the wind to howl loudly and the ground to shake in response. It was clear that he was enraged, but the reason remained unknown to you.
Your brows drew together.
It was a vague question coming from your father, however, a feeling of foreboding formed a pit in your stomach.
What have you done?
“What have I done...?” you repeated, perplexed, only to let out a choked yelp as his fingers tightened their grip on your hair. His sharp, black nails dug into your scalp, causing pain to shoot through your head as he forced your gaze upward, meeting his intense stare.
“You have disobeyed,” he growled, his teeth grinding together in the dim light. The pressure of his fingers against your skull intensified, causing the pain to escalate without piercing through. As blood trickled down your face, you could feel his fury boiling over.
“You dare have the temerity to use my name in an oath?” Aionarch exclaimed, his grip on your head tightening, his sharp nails penetrating your skin, causing more blood to trickle down your face.
“And to compound your audacity, you have committed a forbidden sin. You have allowed yourself to become infatuated with a servant, no less, and a woman at that!” he spat, his voice dripping with contempt. When you had sworn your oath in his name, he had overheard it and began piecing together the puzzle, realizing the romantic relationship you had with your lady-in-waiting—Ataraxia.
“How dare you love that woman?” he snarled, his anger palpable.
Your eyes widened in realization and your heart sank to the pit of your stomach as you comprehended your grave error. You had indeed taken an oath for Ataraxia, using Aionarch's name.
Undoubtedly, this was the gravest mistake of your life. You had truly fucked up, and the weight of that realization sent a shiver of fear down your spine.
Make a move. Something whispered in you.
Don’t be scared of him. All the whispers insisted, and you slowly found yourself getting agitated.
Why are you so scared of him? Fight back. You told yourself, trying to stop yourself from shaking.
Stop shaking. Damn it  You grit your teeth.
Fight back.
He thinks that your love with ataraxia is nothing but a nuisance
You felt your fingers curl instinctively into your palms, the bones of your knuckles pressing harshly against your strained skin until it became bloodless. The heat of his grip sank deeper, an branding iron searing your flesh.
You wanted to retaliate, your body just wouldn’t move.
You searched internally for memories, recollections, anything within that could fuel your want for vendetta. But none came, no ember of indignation could be fanned into flame.
That was, until a single word passed his lips—a phrase so caustic it ignited a fuse that had run its entire length within you.
“I suppose that i should just get rid of that woman, so that your puppy love will finally dissipate. Such audacity you have.... how dare you?”
How dare he judge your love, your heart, as if it were a mere plaything to be discarded at his whim?
You took a deep breath, staring back at him defiantly.
“I dare to love because love knows no bounds, father,”
“Yes, i dare, i do love her, very much so,” You declared, causing him to halt in his tracks, his gaze fixated on you with a mix of shock and revulsion. His fingers remained firmly entrenched in your skull, a lingering reminder of his hold over you.
“And it’s not puppy love it’s true love— Ack!”
You yelped when his fingers dug deeper.
“You forget your place, daughter. You are bound by the laws of our kind, and your dalliance with a woman is a betrayal of everything we stand for.”
A hiss of pain escapes your lips as you scowled.
“And what of your dalliances, father? Are they not equally condemned by your own laws?” you shot back.
“Do not force my hand, [Name].” He warned.  His fingers penetrated your skull, reaching deep into your brain, specifically targeting your cerebrum. With a firm grip, his fingers curled upwards towards your frontal lobe and you winced—he was probably searching for your memories.
“What has that woman fed my daughter?”
Aionarch muttered curses under his breath as he  tried to search your brain for any recollection of the witchcraft that ataraxia may have used on you.   However, all he could see were images of laughter, giggles, kissing, and just straight up a cliche love story.
This sight caused him to recoil in shock and disgust, as he never expected to witness his daughter engaging in such actions with another woman.  His teeth clenched, his eyes widened, and his blood boiled with anger at the disturbing scene before him.

Despite his intense feelings of rage, the only thing that prevented Aionarch from killing you right here and then in that moment was the fact that you were his own flesh and blood and his only child. He struggled to control his impulses, torn between his paternal instincts and his moral beliefs.

In response to Aionarch practically twisting some parts of your brain you clenched your own teeth and glared back defiantly.
“Have you satisfied your curiosity now?” you spat.
“This is pure love, father.” you asserted, refusing to apologize for your feelings or actions.  Your words only served to further enrage Aionarch, who struggled to come to terms with the reality of the situation.
“And father, do stop the hate on homosexuality. There is absolutely nothing wrong with loving the same gender,” you firmly stated. However, this declaration triggered a strong reaction from Aionarch, testing his patience to its limits. In an instant, your head violently exploded, causing your skull to shatter into pieces and your brains to be scattered on the ground. The ground beneath Aionarch became tainted with the ichor color of your flowing blood.
Filled with anger and frustration, Aionarch’s words escaped his mouth like a venomous serpent.
“How dare you, you insolent brat, challenge me with your disobedience?” he spat out with an intense rage burning in his eyes.
Despite the horrific ordeal you had just experienced, your body began to regenerate. As this process unfolded, your eyes transformed from their usual [E/c] hue to a  shade of fiery red. Your teeth clenched tightly smeared with blood, and determination etched across your face as your head slowly but surely regenerated itself, healing from the violent outburst.
“Loving someone of the same gender is perfectly acceptable,” you proclaimed.
“Loving that abhorrent and wretched goddess, is absolutely repulsive.” Aionarch uttered with disdain towards you, causing you to slowly lift your head in a tremulous manner. Anger filled your wide eyes, and the tension caused a blood vessel in your eye to pop, leaving a gold trail and tainting the whites with an eerie hue of ichor.
“She’s not.”
“Don’t you fucking dare call my ataraxia wretched.” You seethed, your divine powers manifesting as the room’s temperature surged, as if engulfed in a raging inferno. In an instant, the very room was consumed by flames, with all objects in Aionarch’s chambers reduced to ashes but neither of you were affected nor perturbed by the scorching heat.
“I love ataraxia with all of my being, and not even you, could change that.” As you raised your hand, a blazing fireball materialized and swiftly hurled towards him.
“You and your disgusting puppy love.”
With ease, Aionarch evaded the attack effortlessly. Meanwhile, your scythe began to take shape in the air, crafted entirely of fire, its burning flames dancing. Firmly gripping the weapon, you charged towards Aionarch, who simultaneously summoned his halberd.
“You’re really trying to anger me, huh?”
“I’m only fighting you for her.” you spat.
“Besides, you’re already angry.”
“Such a funny little girl you are, haisayu.”
The clash of your scythe’s blade against his halberd reverberated through the air, showcasing his superiority in strength with a simple exertion of pressure.
Refusing to succumb to the overwhelming force, you valiantly pushed forward, releasing your grip on the scythe’s handle with one hand and launching fireballs at him using your free hand, Your muscles strained against the relentless pressure, the sounds of crackling flames and clashing metal echoing through the air.
Without any concern for his clothes catching fire, he  charged forward. In a swift motion, his hand swooped towards you, but you crouched down, however, he brought the blade southwards too, slashing your shoulder, causing you to emit a pained hiss and stumble backward.
It hurts.
His attack burns.
you instinctively evaded when he aimed directly for your heel—the area you knew was your weakest point.
Reacting swiftly, you made a counter attack and tried to slash at his stomach, but he managed to evade the attack. Undeterred, you continued your assault, each swing of your weapon leaving a trail of blazing fire.
“You’re really serious on insisting in being with that wretched woman...”
“I admire your dedication. Very well, daughter. Since you had taken an oath that you would die for her, then death shall you suffer.”
Suddenly, he raised his hand and conjured a massive sphere composed of eerie shadows, resembling dangerous spikes. Your eyes widened. What the hell are those?
In an instant, the shadowy projectiles began to fall from above, relentlessly targeting their intended victims. Unfortunately, one of these malevolent spikes found its mark, plunging into your head. It seemed as if the spike possessed a life of its own, resembling a leech as it descended deeper.
To prevent the shadowy intruder from reaching your  weakest spot, you made a decisive choice and severed your own head.
Your head exploded in an instant one it was severed and you continued the fight using your body, relying on your regenerative abilities to regrow your severed head. With your fists clenched, an immense ring of fire erupted and surged towards the direction of Aionarch. Observing this unexpected move, a subtle furrow appeared on his brow, marking the first sign of his reaction in this battle.
“I see, so you have mastered your pyrokinesis.”
Aionarch lifted his halberd to block the attack.
However, the circular blaze abruptly transformed into a crescent-shaped assault, catching Aionarch off guard, and he narrowly evaded the attack.
“I have,” You answered, coughing up ichor, Exploiting his momentary vulnerability, you pressed forward, striking at him. But he jumped out of harm's way, frustrating your attempts. Undeterred, you launched a series of attacks, but with a swift kick, he sent you hurtling through the air, crashing violently into the wall. The impact was so forceful that it left a conspicuous dent in its wake.
As you let out a painful groan, drops of ichor blood cascaded onto your face. Slowly, you managed to rise to your feet, but without warning, a strange sensation enveloped your entire body, rendering you completely immobile. It felt as though invisible strings had been attached to you, preventing any movement.
“What the—”
Desperately, you attempted to use your fire to burn away the unseen restraints, but to no avail. The relentless grip of the strings refused to loosen.
Aionarch, his voice filled with a mix of acknowledgment and disdain, remarked,
“You have undeniably grown stronger, evident from what I see.”
However, any sense of forgiveness was absent from his next words, delivered with a sneering tone.
“But do not mistake this for absolution. Your disobedience and futile attempt to challenge me will be met with divine retribution.”
In that moment, an excruciating pain surged through your body, causing your organs to rupture and spilling your ichor blood, marking your bones with its stain. Coughing up this blood, you watched helplessly as it tainted the ground beneath you.
“How foolish of you to think that you could kill me, you really do amuse me, haisayu.”
you watched as his hand rose, summoning a multitude of dark shadows that snaked their way towards you, ensnaring you in their tight grip. The tendrils of darkness then began to sink their teeth into your delicate skin, causing you to grunt and grit your teeth in pain. The excruciating pain coursing through your body from your internal organs being torn apart was already unbearable, but the slow devouring of your flesh by these parasitic shadows only intensified your suffering.
As if that wasn't enough, he conjured sharp needles in his hand and hurled them towards you, leaving you helpless to evade their assault. The needles found their mark, penetrating your vulnerable body with an added venomous sting.
“You’ve done a great job trying to anger me, and you have succeed. Good job.”
he says snarkily, a crooked smirk made its way to your lips.
“It’s my pleasure to achieve something that most people didn’t managed to do so.”
You were playing with fire, and you knew it, but you don’t regret anything, you don’t regret fighting for ataraxia.
Aionarch fixed you with an icy stare, his irises contracting into narrow slits as he considered your folly. Amusement curled his lips at your brazen insolence, though beneath simmered calculation as he pondered a retribution befitting your arrogance.
Upon souring your memories, he discerned your quixotic view of love as all sunshine and rainbows, an exempt from the muck and mire of reality. A sibilant sigh escaped him then, ivory lashes shutting and veiling his eyes.
“You’re about to find out what it’s like to survive without your ataraxia” Aionarch murmured, his wicked words sending a chill down your spine. Instantly, a surge of fear washed over you, causing your face to lose its color and drain of life.
“Let’s see if you can survive as a non divine entity on another world where humans are preyed on.”
Defying the torment and defiling your pain, you mustered every ounce of strength to retort,
“Don’t you dare...” Despite the searing agony racking your body, your voice resonated with a fierce determination. However, your defiance was met with a cruel response from the malevolent being before you, as your hand was brutally severed by the ravenous shadows, and it refused to regenerate because of the venom inside you.
“IF YOU DARE TOUCH ATARAXIA, I’M GONNA KIll YOU!”
Your outburst were mixed with other voices, as if it's not you speaking, which made a laugh to bubble on Aionarch's throat.
“What a funny excuse of a daughter i have,”
“Death won’t suffice as your punishment, i suppose...”
He smirked.
“Since you think that love is such a very beautiful thing... let us see how you like it to receive too much love..”
With a grin spreading across his face, Aionarch raised his hand once again, causing your eyes to widen in terror. A circular formation of vibrant yellow light materialized and hurtled towards you, engulfing your entire being within its luminous embrace.
You suddenly become ensnared with the swirling yellow light that your father had conjured. You felt the light constricting around you, threatening to suffocate you.
And suddenly, you found yourself completely immersed in an endless sea of vibrant and dazzling yellow shades, each one radiating and shimmering before your very eyes, almost as bright as the intense ultraviolet rays emitted by the scorching sun.
The intense golden radiance fiercely impacted your skin tone, resulting in your flesh blazing with an indistinguishable fire, as if it were being consumed by an invisible inferno.
Simultaneously, the luminosity clung to you, pulsating around your physique like a relentless parasite, greedily devouring every ounce of your life force. Your glowing complexion broke open as a result of the burns, resulting in a forceful surge of blood that flowed out intensively. This spectacle filled the air with a fascinating combination of unpleasant yet strangely captivating smell, which could only be connected to the heavenly essence of your richly ichor flow of blood.

Second Male Leads Are all Yanderes but I Won't Rest Until I Win My Love Back (Female Reader x OCs)
CHAPTER 4
Tumblr media
Story will start after the synopsis
Every second male lead who appeared in this world had a hidden yandere side that can emerge at any moment and turn them into a twisted and obsessive villain.
As someone with a severe case of the "second male lead syndrome", you are determined to pursue your love for the second male lead, leaving the original male lead to become the second.
While you were busy chasing after the second male lead, the original male lead kept on bothering you and trying to get you to choose him instead.
"Don't you dare to come any closer!" You snap at the original male lead, your tone sharp and firm.
"Oh, and who's going to stop me? You?" The yandere stares at you, a menacing look in their eyes, as their body slowly moves closer.
"Too close! Step back!"
"Your words mean nothing to me. You can't control me. I will come as close as I please, you can't stop me."
As if a yandere was not enough, when you chose to ignore the original male lead, another second male lead suddenly entered your life, further complicating the situation.
The yandere and the upcoming second male lead both seem determined to have you for themselves, and they were both very possessive and pushy in their approaches to you.
You just wanted to be happy with your true love. Yandere or not, you would stick with your crush!
CHAPTER 1 << CHAPTER 2 << CHAPTER 3
CHAPTER 4: THE LADIES
What was the meaning of happiness in your life? To you, it was when you had gotten to go out with your lovely Adrian, hands wrapped around his arm in a secure lock and the most important thing was, Adrian allowed you! Just seeing the envious looks on other ladies faces at the town was enough to make your smile even brighter.
'Yes! Adrian is mine! Back off'
"I'm doing you a favour, Adrian. I'm saving you from being ambush by all these predatory ladies" That was just an excuse as you tightened your hold on him, laid your head on his shoulder and acted as his protector and savior.
"Oh, you are? I am in debt to you then." Although you did not look at his face as you were busy laying your head on his shoulder but you could tell he was looking at your direction.
"Do you think they would've been able to lure me away from you?" His question sounded so playful but coming from Adrian, it was just out of pure curiosity. An angel who just wanted to know more about your thoughts.
"Will you?" You chose to withhold your answer for this one question and used his curiosity for this opportunity instead.
"If these ladies tried to lure you away from me, would you fall for their antics?" You asked, wanting to see how he would answer that question.
"I don't think so. I rather feel more comfortable being with you, out of everyone. You spend a lot of your time with me and I can't be more than thankful or..." Adrian's tone changed from his usual calm one into the one he would used whenever he would tease you for fun.
"or maybe it was the fact that you held onto me too tightly that I cannot escape to anywhere" You could feel his hot breath hit your face as he brought his face closer to you as he whispered.
'Too cute! Can I just pinch those cheeks.'
"Your words does not synchronies with your expression, Adrian. You had fun teasing me a lot these days"
As you were about to behave more respectful to Adrian's boundary by releasing your grip on his arm, as if he disliked the idea, Adrian placed a hand over yours. Your focus was back at him in question. When you looked into his eyes, they were glistening warmly and looking at you, giving you chills and a hint of excitement.
"This is the payment for my debt so do as you like"
'Do as I like? I-I ba-bad thoughts go away!'
"Look at these two undeclared young couple. Flirting with each other early in the morning" Suddenly, an old voice rang out, calling attention to you and Adrian from a fruit store. You immediately glanced over your shoulder to look at the source of the voice.
The person who spoke was none other than your dear madam, who smiled sheepishly at you with joy and rejoice. Your mood brightened when you saw her expression, as it was a reminder of her support of this relationship. She seemed overjoyed with your happiness and satisfaction, and this made you feel more grateful to her for her kindness and love towards you.
"You're mistaken, madam. We are not a couple yet," you clarified, politely explaining to her that you and Adrian were not a couple at this point in time.
"But pray for my success please. When we are together, madam would be the first person I told to."
Upon hearing your words, the madam's eyes widened and she displayed an expression that held a hint of disappointment. It was apparent that she had hoped for a different outcome, with the two of you already being a couple. That was why she was now feeling disappointed, after realizing that you still not success in pursuing your love for Adrian.
"Adrian still rejecting you?" The madam shifted her focus on Adrian.
"Young man, you should not let a beautiful flower alone when it's dazzlingly shine in front of you. You should treasure it before it flies away. As the flower blown by the wind, it would be hard for you to get it back"
Adrian remained silent and did not reply, his expression changing to one that you found difficult to fathom. You choose to be the one who continued the conversation. Mentally, questioning the meaning of his expression. He must felt uncomfortable with the old lady's words.
"Madam, I will never go away. I will never give up but I dont want to force Adrian to accept my feeling." You reassured the older lady, who was now actively supporting and rooting for you and yet failed miserably.
"That's the same answer you keep on repeating. I'm rooting for you, Y/N and do remember my warning young man."
Adrian remained silent all the way until both of you reached a bookstore, seemingly deep in thought. He did not seem to have much to say, and kept his thoughts to himself. You chose not to enter the bookstore with him to give him some space, and instead, simply waited outside while he went in.
As you waited outside the bookstore, you did not have much else to do except to inspect the stores around you in detail. You closely studied the signs, decorations, and interiors, as if they were the most interesting things you had ever seen. You took in all the various colors and designs of each store, and soaked it all in with great care and detail.
As you continued to inspect the stores around you, a sudden burst of noise and a crowd of people caught your attention. The crowd was gathered and concentrated in one spot, which caught your curiosity. So, you tiptoed closer in order to see what it was that had piqued their interest. When you eventually managed to get a glimpse of the source, you were shaken by what you saw.
As you were watching the scene unfold from your vantage point, you suddenly saw a familiar face that you recognized from your college days. It was the most hated man from your list, someone you absolutely despised. The man locked eyes with you, and immediately began approaching you at a rapid pace.
'No no he does not walking here right or he might wants to buy something from the store too. Yeah yeah that must be it. We had never even talked before'
You quickly scooted to the side, attempting to evade his path by moving out of the way. However, he continued to approach you, as if he had his sights set on you and had no intention of backing down. Without awaiting your consent, he abruptly grabbed your wrist and pulled you close to him, seeming insistent in engaging in a direct interaction with you.
'The hand that only meant for Adrian! What with this bastard with his unrespectful behavior?! He just walks to me perfectly fine but still need to pull me? That's not important right now. The thing is, don't you dare disturbing my outing with my man!'
@d3sperate-enuf @sirenetheblogger @orinnie @aoiyx @chin-chii
This time, I want to focus on the growth of the interaction for Adrian and Y/N. Are the dialogues too much though? But I do enjoy writing it this way. Isn't it too fluffy and cute?! Enjoy your weekend while accompanied by this story.

Portgas D Ace X CisFem Reader
1
It was a crisp November morning, not quite the time of year for snow but certainly cold enough. You had just finished a night of data entry for one of the two insurance companies you worked for. This wasn't how you'd pictured your adult life, though honestly you weren't sure what you were supposed to picture. When people asked you what you wanted to be you shrugged.
Not being very social in school and inheriting your grandmother's home at a young age, you just slipped into a reclusive lifestyle. Hermit life chose you and it suited you just fine. You found a job you were great at, could make your own hours for and best of all didn't have to deal with people. You were just soaking up that sweet hermit life with your adorable but protective blue nose bull terrier, Kuma.
You wanted to name him bear because when you found him near the creek you'd initially thought he was a tiny cub, really, he was a beefy pup. Bear is such a used-up name for a dog, so you researched the word in different languages settling on Japanese.
"We should go to the store today." You mused as Kuma settled next to you on the porch.
A cold breeze stripped the nearby trees, carrying along the scent of chimneys down the lane. You sat quietly for a few minutes watching ripples travel across the pond nestled at the mouth of the forest. It was indeed a nice autumn day. You closed your eyes listening to the wind shift debating over having a nap before going into town. A high-pitched whistle caught your ear. There was some distance to it starting out high and getting lower as whatever it was neared. You assumed it was a charter plane, out here that was pretty common. Photographers were always trying to get a good shot of the forest meeting the bluffs that hung over the bay. But it wasn't the right time of day for that. You opened your eyes as the sound grew louder and alarmingly close. Kuma stood puffing out a low growl shifting his ears back.
Then you caught sight of the source. It wasn't recognizable - just a black ball that seemed to be on fire?
A meteor?
You rose as it plowed into the earth sending a tremor through the house. Kuma jumped off the porch following as you made your way toward the small plume of smoke.
Your breath hitched while you stalked closer, it was a man.
A man...fell from the sky.
How he wasn't splattered across the bank of the pond was beyond you. In fact, he looked quite peaceful. Freckles dotted his lifeless face. You bent over him brushing the soft black waves that had tangled with his lashes. A frown ghosted your lips for the stranger. You'd have to go get your phone to call the police to pick him up.
His blood-soaked chest heaved startling you and sending Kuma into a protective stance. His eyes snapped open wide, pupils dilating in a mixture of fear and pain as a scream tore through his throat. You held up your hand signaling Kuma to sit while the stranger writhed and blindly reached for someone who wasn't there.
Slowly you stepped closer taking his hand, gently brushing your fingers passed the bruises on his wrist. Humming softly, you tried to get him to focus and catch his breath before pulling him into your chest. He continued to huff and mumble to himself as he shivered in your arms.
"I've got to get you out of the cold. Can you walk?" You pulled back.
His head lulled over your forearm.
Great he passed out.
It took almost an hour to wrestle the man into your wheelbarrow and drag it through the house. Kuma followed closely keeping his gray eyes fixed on the sleeping stranger until you dumped him onto the bed. While he slept you cleaned the blood off his bare chest revealing not a cut but freshly scarred flesh.
"What happened to you?" You whispered moving to remove his worn black boots.
Kuma climbed onto the mattress and curled up with the raven.
"Oh, you like him huh?" You asked the dog who merely huffed shutting his eyes.
Figuring he'd sleep for a while you decided to leave him in Kuma's care and head to the store. Your usual anxiety about dealing with public places had faded while you pondered what to do about the stranger. No one would believe that a human fell from the sky seemingly unscathed and was sleeping comfortably in your unused guest room. It seemed more like a plot for a comic than anything remotely possible in real life.
After picking up some essentials and some spare clothes for your guest you parked the old beetle in the gravel drive that lead up to your small house. Kuma met you at the back-door woofing and pacing between you and the hall that lead to the guest room.
"Is he awake?" You asked only getting a more excited response from the dog.
You placed the groceries on the counter keeping the bag of clothes with you and made your way down the hall. The ravenette had curled up facing the window. A large tattoo covered the middle of his muscular back. You couldn't make out what it was exactly because an almost identical scar from his chest marred the inked skin.
"Where am I?" He rasped in a sad husky tone.
"Portland." You replied dropping the shopping bag  in the doorway.
"I've never heard of that island." He murmured.
"It isn't an island, it's a city in Maine." You raised a brow, "What's your name?"
He rolled over to face you not bothering to move his wavy locks from his garnet eyes.
"Ace. Portgas D. Ace."

Imagine getting isekai’ed into otome game as a background character, watching the main character going down routes as you live your peaceful, mundane life, but you’ve unknowingly been going down a route as well, a route for a hidden character that you didn’t discover during your time playing the game.
That character being the reason the game has a dark content warning.
Gosh anon, that idea is so good!!!! I didn't know it would tickle all the right places in my brain, but when I started I couldn't stop lol. Love it, thank you for sending it in ♥
If this had one of these super long titles that are tmi it would be:
I got Isekai'ed into an Otome Game as a Background Character and now I Have to Finish It with the Secret Yandere Love Interest!!
»»———————— ♡ ————————««
A serene smile spread over your lips as you watched the two lovebirds in the corner of your coffee shop.
Swirling the milk into a cup, it created a little white heart surrounded by foamy coffee, its aroma drifting into your nose. Had someone told you that the little things like a cup of coffee made with love and care were enough to give you the peace of mind you always wanted in your previous life, you would have laughed at them. For you, it had always been the hustle, the making money, finding a partner, and creating a family. Make everyone proud while being successful, whether it costs you nights of sleep or days without proper meals. But looking at yourself now, it all seemed so far away now, and you let out a content sigh before setting down the cup in front of the customer at the bar.
"You seem happy today," your regular at the counter noted, picking up the cup and taking a moment to appreciate the aroma just like you had. A smile sneaked onto their lips, too, after they took a sip, and you couldn't help but feel your heart swell with pride and happiness when they gave you a satisfied nod.
"I am! I'm really getting accustomed to my new life here, it's... been a while since I've been so content."
The truth behind everything that happened to you was something you couldn't speak about lightly. Not when it turned the life you knew upside down, leaving you to start over completely. One day you were an employee of a well-known company, responsible for sales and reports and everything stressful. And the next, you were in your favorite, cozy video game, running the coffee shop the main character liked to visit with all the romance options in the game.
Isekai was the genre that came to mind when you thought about your situation. Luckily you were spared the memories of your death in the real world, the circumstances blurry as you barely remembered going home late from work, only to wake up in this very different universe. Perhaps you were just comatose, and this was a dream. Still, by now, you had managed to slip into your role as the barista of the small coffee shop, a barely mentioned background character, just fine.
Your eyes jumped back to the couple in the corner, giggling and teasing each other over a group project, and you felt an immense relief you weren't reincarnated as the main protagonist and had to go through the years of studying and trying to establish connections with the love interests again. You already did that in your old life, and it wasn't as romantic and fun as the game made it out to be. You only played it because it got your mind off things, the art was pretty, and it had the exact amount of cozy time management you needed to relax. But living as the main character in it? No, thank you!
"Jealous?" your regular teased, and you chuckled, shaking your head. They tapped their—now empty—cup, and you took it from them, replacing it with some water until you had the next cup of coffee ready for them.
"I just think it's cute. I never had someone so interested in me they'd take me out for coffee and share their cake with me when I was younger."
Your words tasted a little bitter on your tongue. Still, you genuinely couldn't wish for anything but the main character's happiness. It was just the feeling of being loved, desired, and wanted that you missed, even though your new life was more than satisfactory despite you feeling a little lonely sometimes.
"Well, it's never too late to start," they chuckled, taking up their fork and cutting off the tip of their strawberry shortcake, including the big chunk of strawberry on top, picking it up and holding it out towards you.
"Oh, I wouldn't dare--"
"I insist! As thanks for the amazing coffee every time I come here."
Nudging your lips with their fork, you let out an awkward chuckle. It was okay, right? They wouldn't sue you for eating the cake they paid for, would they? This was just a silly little game. What could go wrong with you accepting their kindness?
Opening your lips, you let them feed you the cake, taking a moment to let the sweet and fruity notes mix with the fluffy whip cream before you were sent straight to heaven. Not to toot your own horn, but your baking skills had improved so much since you started working at the shop. Who knew you had that in you?
Occupied with the moment of bliss as you let the cake flavor mix in your mouth, you hummed happily before devoting yourself back to making the coffee with a smile on your face. Unaware of your regular fixating on the fork you had just eaten from, staring at it like it was some strange artifact. Your phone dinged softly in its drawer, and you checked it briefly to see the notification pinging up, saying, "Achievement unlocked: Cake-Master - Provide the most delicious cake to your customers."
"Excuse me!" the main character called out to you, stepping up to the counter, and you directed your attention to her, ignoring the little game notification you've been receiving since starting your new life here, the love interest not far away before the two began fighting over who was going to pay the bill this time lovingly. Of course, the love interest won, but you wouldn't have expected it any other way. Seeing the blush on the main character's face after her romance option told her he'd "always take care" of her made you grin like a little fan, and you cheered them on in your head.
By the time you returned to your regular, their knuckles had gone white with how hard they were gripping the fork in their hand, their eyes following the couple who was about to leave. For a moment, it made you wonder if they had a crush on either of them, their sweet interaction surely uncomfortable if that was the case. But you didn't remember there being a jealousy scene in the game. You'd know, almost playing it 100% before your death. There apparently was a secret route you never got but were trying your hardest to achieve. Now you were left to wonder what it entailed.
But the second you returned, they looked up at you, expression softening and the tension disappearing, and you chalked it up to having witnessed a cringe moment that they had gotten so awkward. "Thank you for the cake, that was really nice of you! Do you want another fork?" you asked and were met with a headshake and a smile.
They quickly began eating their cake and complimenting your baking skills, stroking your growing ego when they rubbed their belly.
"I never had a cake that good!" they proclaimed, and you laughed out loud, overjoyed that you had made them so happy.
"Say..." they suddenly spoke up again, leaning on the counter and watching you with gentle eyes. Your heart set out for a second, tension rising as you didn't know what they were going to ask. Ever since you opened the coffee shop, the main character, love interests, and this regular had come by constantly. If you were honest, you enjoyed their visits more and more. Their presence felt like it belonged here with you, and you were a part of something bigger after all, washing away the small, lonely part of you.
And maybe... just maybe... this was how your happy end would play out.
"Are you this nice to every customer?"
Halting your movements, you set aside the brew head that you used on the espresso machine, despite having to clean it, thinking about your answer for a moment. It was a strange question to ask someone who worked in customer service. Still, you appreciated your regular, so you didn't want to give them a snarky answer.
"Uhm, well, I am just trying to make everyone feel welcome! But of course, it's a bit different with my regulars! After all, they come here often, like a second family. So I guess I'm a bit nicer because you really get to know and appreciate these people that stay to chat and tell stories."
"I see," they muttered. "Family, huh..."
After that, you suddenly were swamped with sudden orders, excusing yourself to fulfill them, chatting and laughing with even the people that were just passing by. Maybe you really were just nice? Perhaps this new environment had made you more relaxed and gentle than the harsh world you lived in, and it was showing? But their question was shoved into the back of your mind as you kept fulfilling orders and earning your keep.
Once the rush was over, you returned to your regular, only to find their seat empty. Strange, you thought. You could have sworn that you felt their eyes on you the whole time you were away, but luckily, they didn't walk out on their tab, leaving the money and a folded-up napkin beneath their empty cup for you to find. You quickly stored away the bills, trusting your regular with knowing what they had to pay after so many weeks of the same order.
You were about to throw away their napkin when you noticed some red marks on them, unwrapping the paper to find a note scribbled in what you had to assume was ink.
"You're so beautiful when you laugh."
The surprise wore off quite fast, and you smiled, thinking nothing of it but that it was a nice compliment from your regular. Still, you ended up throwing the napkin away—not knowing if it was dirty, after all—taking the coffee cup and plate to the sink to clean them, overseeing the red tip on the fork that was too dark to be from the strawberry.
The rest of your day was uneventful, and by the time you were closing, you were tired and ready to tug in for the night, wrapping up your business at the shop quickly before walking home. You didn't have a chance to look at your phone since you glanced at the achievement notification, so you took it out, startled when you saw a dozen new messages.

Achievement unlocked: Shop-Pro! - Close the shop twenty times after making a profit from your work

You blinked a few times, surprised by what you were reading and a little weirded out by some of these achievements. They gave you some extra coins in your shop till and reputation with the townspeople, so you usually didn't mind them. But to say some of their descriptions were weird was an understatement. You couldn't even remember someone getting hurt at your workplace that day.
By the time you reached your apartment, you decided to ignore the strange notifications and just let the day come to an end with a hot bath and your favorite show. But you were startled when your phone suddenly began ringing loudly, even though you had turned off the sound back at the coffee shop after the first notification. The first messages that appeared before you were more achievements, and you stopped turning the key in your door as you read them.
Achievement unlocked: Follower - Have someone special follow you home
Achievement unlocked: Welcome home! - Arrive at home, not alone
Achievement unlocked: Wherever you go, I'll be watching you - Ɨ ΔΜ ΔŁŴΔ¥Ş ŴΔŦĆĦƗŇǤ ¥ØỮ
Lifting your head, you looked around you, glancing over your shoulder and into the courtyard below. No one was out; everyone was at home eating dinner and occupied with their lives. Confused, you swiped all the notifications away before another pop-up appeared.
ALERT! You're about to enter X's route. Do you want to continue?
> Yes > No
Panicked at this point, you pressed "No," but nothing happened. You kept tapping it repeatedly, not understanding what was happening with your phone. But nothing changed, the notification staying in place. The sound of something breaking inside your apartment tore your focus away from your phone, startling you.
You must have finally managed to close it, the pop-up disappearing just as you unlocked the door to your apartment, still having held on to the key when you were surprised by the sound. Darkness and silence greeted you from inside, everything seemingly normal.
Majorly confused, you shook your head, slowly entering the hallway leading inside. "Hello?" you called out, reaching for the light switch. The light flickered on, and... there was no one. Holding your breath, no sound reached your ears, and you groaned, realizing you got freaked out about... nothing.
This wasn't some kind of horror game, and the story never had a murder-solving subplot. True, the ratings for it were kind of strange—it being rated as 18+ on the website—but seriously, what should happen in a cozy little city like the one the game played in? You didn't even think they had a police station here.
Pushing off your shoes as you shrugged off the weird feeling from before, you walked up the hallway to your living room, turning on the light before coming to an abrupt halt. There were broken pieces of glass underneath your living room window, but what really freaked you out came into view only when you lifted your head. You could look into the mirror of your cabinet door from your position, red marker dripping from it as if someone had hastily scribbled on it just seconds ago. You weren't sure it was a pen anymore, judging by its deep red color and the fluidity of it.
"𝘪 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺"
Your phone pinged.

Writing Prompt: When you were a teenager, a truck nearly ran you over. Your significant other wasn't so lucky.
Today, you had another close encounter with a truck, and this time it got you. You've been Isekai'd. But when you wake up in the other world, you see a familiar face. They're older and got a few scars, but it's definitely your old sweetheart.
You have a heartful reunion. You catch up on your lives, you make arrangements for a new life together.
"What luck that we both wound up here." you say during dinner.
"Luck?" your other half laughs and nearly drops their roast pixie. "Who do you think guided the truck that brought you here?"
This time it's your turn to nearly drop your food.
Your lover smiles, but there's something strange in their eyes. "I missed you so much, baby."

Villainess Isekai'd Jazz and Group
Danny, Dani, and Jazz were isekai'd into a fantasy romance novel. Jazz was reincarnated as the Villainess, Danny as the Villainess Brother, and Dani as the baby girl of Danny. It seems like a new extra character. All of them were doing pretty well. The daughter of the marquess, Jazz, tried not to go near the prince or any of the male leads. Ser Danny was working hard as a knight and was then one of the few knight commanders of the Empire. And he was pretty popular and famous for his personality. It was a shock as he brought tiny Ellie with him after a long battle, but most people liked the young girl after a short time.
The few heroes, too, were Isekai'd after a prank from Klarion.
Dick wasn't sure what to do, as he woke up as the Prince in this book that Zatanna read whenever he tried to talk to his game, Fiance Jasmine. He needs to talk with her to escape the game. But she ran away, or worse, her brother, the Knight Commander, was near her. What did his prince self do? And he will punch him! Auqalad wasn't doing much better; his admiral self wasn't very liked; it seemed like he disliked the valiant brother very much out of jealousy. And as most people loved the Knight Commander, so most of them disliked him. Zatanna, the Master of the Mage Tower, wanted to laugh. In the book, the mage was male, but with her isekai'd, the people just said she used a gender-bend potion. Wally was having way too much fun with this alchemy. And he didn't seem to have the problems his fellow heroes were having. Being so antisocial, the heroine had to find him while getting bullied by the villain in the OG game. Which never happened, so he never left his lab. Cassandra Cain was having far more fun than she should have as the story's heroine - maid. All she had to do was babysit this adorable baby girl! And spend time with her good-looking young Knight Dad. While Dick tries to seduce the villains to help them escape the game.

God's Perfect Lamb
Kingdom of Ebreau:
Prologue(you are here)|part 1|part 2
Tumblr media
"OH MY GOD!!!!!"
You screamed as you free fell from the sky. The wind whistled pass you, whipping your hair and slapping your cheeks until they stung. You flailed about, thrashing your arms and legs in the air, desperately hoping to slow your descend into inevitable doom.
This day could not get any weirder. You thought the day when you got transmigrated into this world took first place in that department but fate took that as a challenge and proceeded to completely and utterly prove you wrong. The day you got here, at least you were safely lying in an open field on the outskirts of the city, unlike now where you were falling to your death from the sky.
You had endured a great amount of hardship during your stay in this world. You know all those stories about someone getting transmigrated into a parallel world as a noble or wealthy merchant or maybe even a royal? Well, you didn't get that privilege. You weren't placed into the body of a princess, a duchess, a countess or.....anybody, to be honest. You were just you. Plain old (y/n). So the idea living a life of luxury and comfort was thrown straight out the window at that revelation. You had nothing with you. No money, no property, no status. You had to start from the ground up if you have wanted to survive in this new world.
But that wasn't the biggest problem. By "nothing", that includes having no form of identification. You're not sure if it's just a subject of it never being brought up in those novels or if identification just wasn't a thing in those world, but in this one, it was a serious issue.
Having neither a place to stay nor enough money to buy one, you were forced onto the streets until you had the finances to own one. So it wasn't unexpected when the authorities took notice of you and brought you to their headquarters to give you necessary aid. It was all going well until they found out they had absolutely no record on you in their database. That's when they became hostile and grilled you to no end.
You couldn't just say you were from another universe and you had no information to based any lies on so many of their question were met with a silent stare or a soft "um".
In the end, they decided to label you a person of interest and should be kept under surveillance since they had no dirt on you to convict or pardon any crimes you may have potentially committed (even though you didn't). You were both relieved and surprised at the conclusion they came to since even you, yourself were convinced they were going to throw you in jail.
With no charges pressed on you, you were free to go. But where though? You were still homeless, jobless and penniless. Pitying you, they ended up giving you the help they initially planned on giving. They gave you a job.
And that's how you ended up as their errand girl. Any trivial or simple matters such as relaying messages to guards, sending documents to scribes and then retrieving them, delivering packages to and from the headquarters etc etc. It was an easy job so the low pay wasn't a surprise. It was barely enough for the small house you rented a few blocks away from headquarters. However, you were given food and allowed to eat with the guards at headquarters everyday as long as you remained their errand girl so that saves you the money and worry of getting enough to eat. It was a win-win situation for both parties. You get a job and the guards can always keep on eye on you. Thus, even with little to no money to your name, you settled into your new life in this world.
It's been more than a year since your transmigration and to be honest..... You were sick of this place. Remember the aforementioned win-win situation? Yeah, that was only in the beginning. As time went on and your suspicion has pretty much been cleared up, you were still stuck with doing this minimum wage job (if that was even a concept in this world). Just because you were getting by with this job doesn't mean you were happy with it. You only had enough for daily necessities. It's already been a long time since you've arrived here and you had not once enjoyed any type of indulgence in that time gap. Just work, work, work. Those damned guards keep saying you still need to be under surveillance but you knew well that they were just trying to keep you around to do their bidding. Honestly, what kind of guard lets a potential fugitive into their room to get something for them? You knew they trusted you. That's why they wanted you to stay as their little helper.
So here you are now. In the middle of the night, on your way back to headquarters after helping deliver a package to the biggest temple in the country, the Temple of Sonnet. This world, or at least Ebreau in particular, was a country of strong faith. They are a religious country where every citizen worshiped Calerus. Though his title may vary from person to person, it’s always some form of wealth and gold so most people call him the God of Prosperity.
With religion being such as important part of the kingdom, it wasn't surprising when you found out the temple worked in close relation with the imperial palace. The Royal family of Ebreau collaborated with the Temple of Sonnet in both political and cultural aspect. Organising nationwide celebrations, meeting with diplomats from afar, anything that are related to the affairs of the country, chances are both parties are involved. Basically, you mess with the temple, you mess with the Royal family. So definitely not someplace you like hanging about at, lest you want to accidentally offend someone and get a ticket straight to getting-your-head-chopped-off town.
The cold breeze of the night sent shivers down your spine as it blew into your thin clothing. You rubbed your hands together, desperately trying to warm them up but to no avail. You scurried through the courtyard quickly, making your way back to the entrance of the temple. It was relatively silent, saved for your footsteps and the distant sound of flowing water from a fountain somewhere.
Thankfully, the walk was a short one. Reaching the opened gate of the entrance, you walked past the two statues of Calerus at each side of the gate and out back onto the familiar cobble walkway. You snuck a few glances at the white statues of the god of this kingdom as you passed by.
Even in the dim moonlight, you could see the white marble eyes of the statue staring down at you, its mouth curved downward as both hands were outstretched to the side with white round discs made to look like gold coins pouring out of its hands and onto the base of the statue.
This was how the people of Ebreau depicted their God. Sharp eyes casted downwards, overseeing and observing their every move, his hands overflowing with gold, symbolising his absolute authority over the wealth in the land.
You stood, staring at the statue as you were reminded of the saying of the people.
Calerus, the prosperous.
Calerus, the strategist.
Calerus, the omnipresent.
Calerus, the all knowing.
Calerus, the god of Ebreau.
"All is within his hand. Follow his plan and golden rain shall pour at your journey's end."
...
"Tch."
You clicked your tongue as you turned away abruptly from the statue and continued on your way back. A look of disdain plastered on your face as you marched off from the temple.
The more you thought about how worshiped Calerus was and how many praises the people sang for him, the more angry you got. You weren't jealous. No, you weren't some narcissist with a god complex who wanted this sort of treatment. Of course not. What you were pissed about was how Ebreauans talk about how everything in life was Calerus' work. His plan, so to speak that allowed you to prosper and succeed. They claim that all challenges are obstacles on a path towards prosperity that Calerus has specifically chosen for someone.
"Everything has a purpose and meaning."
Well, personally, you though it was pretty nonsense.
If this god of theirs was so smart and crafty, if everything truly happened according to his plan then why the heck were you here? Why were you here in this fantasty world? What purpose did He bring you here for? And why has that "purpose" not shown itself even after you've been thrown here for almost 2 years?!?!
In your mind, Calerus is nothing but a liar and a fraud. Where's the prosperity He promised? What did He have planned? Did He even have anything planned??
You were angry and with good reasons. The people you've met here have been telling you that Calerus has something planned for you even if you're not from Ebreau since day one. They assured you that He will look over you, even if you're not a follower. Yet, you've been met with nothing but problems and hardships during your stay here. And worse, you don't see it ever becoming better.
"What a scam."
You mumbled under your breath and scoffed.
"Ugh..Huh?"
You groaned softly as you suddenly felt lightheaded. You legs got weak and you began to wobble, stumbling forward a few steps. You pressed your hand to you head, applying pressure to both of your temples. Nausea seizes your body as you gagged.
"Huhg..!"
The world spun around you and the ground below your feet felt like it disappeared as you lost your footing. You fell forward and braced for impact.
But it never came.
...?
You slowly regain control as the short-lived dizziness subsides. The disorientation passes and you now realised the odd position you're in. You're...Floating? Your face was hovering several inches away from the ground despite your hands not supporting your upper body. And when did the streets of Ebreau get so....White and fluffy? In fact, they looked like cloud-
"Heretic."
A deep voice suddenly rumbled in your ears and your head shot up. A man with shoulder length grey hair stood before you, his golden eyes piercing into your soul as he spoke with authority. He donned black robes that exposed only his left arm and part of his chest. Golden streaks also lined themselves along the right sleeves and tails of the robe. He seemed.... Ethereal. Godly even.
Wait....Godly?
"C-calerus?”
You stuttered in fear and disbelief.
“One did not expect to be recognised by thou so quickly. Peculiar for a non believer."
Calerus suddenly lifted his right hand and flicked two of his fingers upwards. That's when you felt a force tugged you up from behind and you hung in midair in front of the god.
"Uwah!" You yelped at the sudden yank. Before you could even recompose yourself, Calerus continued speaking again.
"And to not posses any ounce of humility. Calling one by mine name. Who does thou think thou art?"
You felt a force wrap itself around your neck before squeezing. You gasped and grasped at the invisible force, desperate for it to let go or at least loosen. You choked.
"cough! Stop! P-cough!"
You pleaded as you gasped for air.
"Why would one do that?"
You continued to cough as the force squeezed tighter. You were gonna die. Oh god, you were gonna die. In panic, you blurted out whatever came to mind.
"Because, cough, you still, gasp, owe me!!"
The grip around your neck disappeared and you fell onto the soft ground (if it even was ground). You gasped and coughed. Your lungs greedily sucking in air now that your airways were opened again. That relief was short-lived however as the next moment, you felt a hand grabbed onto your jaw and forced your gaze up.
Calerus stared coldly into your eyes as he spoke.
"Elaborate."
You panicked. You just said that on a whim. Surely, you weren't actually going to ask for compensation from a god....right? There was no way you were going to pull though with what you just said.
The fire inside Calerus' golden eyes told you to do so otherwise, though. You swallowed before slowly speaking.
"You....You brought me here. Why? Why separate me from my family? Why separate me from my friends?"
Calerus raised an eyebrow.
"Bring thou here? To punish thee, of course. Thou spoke ill of mine name."
You shook your head.
"No. I meant, bring me to this world. To Ebreau. What reason do you have?"
Calerus fell silent. He seemed to be lost in thought. You waited agonisingly long before he spoke.
"So it is thou. Thou art the otherworldly traveler, yes?"
Otherworldly? Yes. Traveler? No. Kidnapping victim would be more accurate. Though, you simply nod at his question. It was close enough, you suppose.
He released you jaw and backed away. His gaze blank and devoid of emotion as he raised his hand again. You felt a soft tug this time and you were gently helped up onto your feet.
?
It..Worked?
Calerus sighed before saying,"It would indeed seem one has forgotten about thy needs after thou came to mine kingdom."
Your eyes widen in surprise at his confession
"One will give thee the compensation thou deserves."
"Wait, really?" You couldn't hold back your astonishment.
Calerus stayed quiet as you asked and you felt cold sweat rolled down your face, thinking your question may have angered him.
His gaze went down onto the ground for a brief moment before flicking back up to you.
"Yes. However, know that one was not the being that brought thee to this land."
You tilted your head. "You're not?"
"No. One merely accepted thy visit to mine kingdom."
"Then...Who did?" You asked, the words rolling off your tongue slowly
"Mine....Equal. A ruler of another land far from mine."
Your head was spinning from this revelation. Some other god brought you here? Why? And why let you stay under another god's rule? Before you could ask, Calerus had began to speak again.
"One is not enlightened with the reason why thou has been brought here but one admits fault for neglecting thee after accepting thee as one's own. As such..."
Calerus stepped forward, his steps firm and steady. He raised his right hand to his mouth before biting his index finger. A small wound appeared on his skin and you saw golden blood begin to seep out from the opening. He stretched out his right arm as he made his way towards you.
"W-what are you doing?" You fumbled over your words as you backed away in horror, clutching your hands over your chest.
But Calerus was faster.
In the blink of an eye, he was already in front of you, finger pressing on your forehead. You felt the warm liquid dripping down your forehead as your eyes opened wide in fear, terrified at what he was going to do to you.
He began to chant.
"Might of the northern spirit, wisdom of the southern dragon, divinity of the elements of the east and west, hear one."
You wanted to pull away from his hand but be it fear or some other unknown force, you couldn't as you stayed rooted in place, breathing heavily from anxiety. If the god before you noticed your petrified state, he surely paid it no mind as he continued.
"Let the earth know that the power of gold shall have a vessel to call its own. Let the people rejoice for a vassal of Calerus, the Prosperous Lord shall walk among them. May the world celebrate the birth of mine lamb."
His finger left your forehead for a split second before it came back, colliding with your forehead as he flicked his finger against it. A surge of power shot into your head from his fingertip and spread throughout your body. The sheer magnitude of the force made you almost black out as your vision clouded with dark spots. As if you also suddenly got punched, you were propelled backwards, stumbling and struggling to catch yourself.
You felt yourself stepping on air and lost your balance, falling backwards. The ground(clouds?) had disappeared behind you, opening a small hole that let you fall through. You reached out your hand in a desperate attempt to hold onto something but to no avail.
You fell. Down and down until you could see that the "ground" you were standing on was indeed clouds in the sky. The sky. Calerus peeked his head over the edge, observing you as you fell with the same stoic look on his face. Just before he went out of hearing range, you heard him speak.
"One will be in touch."
He disappeared from view.
Now, back to the present, you were falling to your death, screaming and crying as you begged Calerus for mercy. Where's the compensation?! Was everything just now a trick?! Did you get scammed again?!
Tears rolled out of your eyes and flew into the air as you cried in fear, leaving behind trails of water droplets following your descend.
You sobbed as realisation kicked in that nobody was going to save you, as hopelessness consumed you to the point of not being able to think anymore.
The ground got closer and closer as the seconds ticked by. You closed your eyes which were still overflowing with tears, submitting to your faith and praying the impact will immediately kill you so you won't have to suffer in pain.
Goodbye.
"Ugh!"
You groaned as the impact came. Your back collided with the ground and you were....OK? You were in some pain but nothing too bad. In fact, the pain was already passing now.
Slowly, you opened your eyes and blinked away the tears still trapped inside. It was daytime already. How much time has passed? You looked around and saw petals of different hues falling down before landing on the dirt beside you. Above you, a tree with yellow leaves swayed gently, its branches lightly bouncing up and down while its yellow leaves, detached from their place on the branch, fell softly down and landed on your face. It seemed you fell through the tree just now. That would explain the tears on the hem of your sleeves.
Aurum trees?
Propping yourself up into a sitting position, you stared up as you wondered. While not rare or particularly hard to care for, aurum trees are only planted within temples of Ebreau due its yellow leaves. They are the only type of trees in Ebreau that grew leaves of that shade of yellow. A yellow similar to gold while not being being fully golden coloured. The colour yellow symbolises wealth in Ebreau and thus, indirectly their god, Calerus. They are a symbol of the divine hence why aurum trees are only grown in temples.
Then, that raises the question. Why were you at a temple?
You lowered your gaze from the tree and you nearly gasped from the scene in front of you. You were sitting in the middle of a flowerbed that consisted of various types of flowers with different hues for each one. Not far from you, rows of nuns and monks knelt in an orderly matter, faces all shocked and astonished. Some had their hands clasped together while some were covering their, what you assume to be, gaping mouths. Hushed whispers erupted as they stared and observed you. You even made eye contact with some of the nuns and monks in which all turned away immediately with flushed cheeks.
What's going on? Did you intrude on something? Oh no....
Before your thoughts could spiral any further, a tall shadow suddenly loomed over you. Your head snapped upwards as you met eyes with the figure, a man dressed in white robes with golden embellishments around the collar and hem of the sleeves. His eyes were purple, like amethysts. Under the sunlight, his long blonde hair seemed glossy, shiny even as it draped over his shoulders while he towered over you. Despite his intimidating stance, a soft smile was present on his face as the tails of his eyes curved upwards slightly, giving the impression of a kind and good hearted soul.
The man knelt down, his sleeves fluttering gently due to the breeze. That's when you got a better look at his face. He looked familiar...
It wasn't until that soft and silky voice of his poured out of his mouth when you realised who he was.
"Hello, Messiah. We've been expecting your arrival." He placed his hand on his chest and bowed his head at you. "I am Saint Zephyr Venrose. Representing the temple of Sonnet, the esteemed imperial family and the whole of Ebreau, I humbly welcome you." He lifted his head and smiled. Your breath got caught in your throat as he confirmed your suspicions.
Zephyr Venrose. One of the few saints in all of Ebreau and head of the temple of Sonnet. Closely associated with the royals of the kingdom and is a man of power within the boarders of Ebreau. He often gives speeches given his position as head of the biggest temple in the country during festive events. That's where you've heard his voice the couple of times you were passing by or, if you were in a good mood, listening to him talk. You've never been able to get a good look at his face since you were always pushed back by the crowd so you didn't recognise him at first glance. However, now with his face inches away from yours, you could see every last detail of his features and you must admit, you understood why the folks liked him so much.
Zephyr must surely be blessed in his appearance.
You froze in place as you stared in surprise at him, wondering why he was talking to you and processing his words.
Did he just call you Messiah?
Zephyr noticed your silence and your staring. He adverted his eyes as his gaze dropped down towards the ground while he smiled to himself.
?
You tilted your head to the side in confusion at the sight.
Zephyr coughed lightly before his arms reached towards you. You gasped as he suddenly picked you up bridal style from the flowerbed. Not used to being held like this, you gripped onto his robe for support. Your face contorted in worry and anxiety as you looked at the ground, afraid of being dropped.
Zephyr, of course, took notice of your panic and in response, tightened his grip on you, pulling you closer to him. As you felt his fingers pressing into your skin more tightly, you looked up at him, surprised he realised your concerns so quickly.
He smiled warmly at you as he leaned down, closing the gap between your faces even more. His blonde hair brushing and tickling your face as he whispered into your ear. "Don't be afraid, Miss Messiah. I will never let you fall." His hot breath hit your earlobe and you felt your heart skipped a beat. He pulled away before walking with you in his arms towards the rows of nuns and monks.
"Rejoice, my brothers and sisters for our Savior has come. Our God has delivered us our salvation. May glory be with his name for all eternity."
Zephyr announced loudly and his words were met with echoes of response from the other devotees.
"May he reign supreme!"
Your head felt like it was going to explode with all this information. Was this....Was this the compensation Calerus meant? To be his hands and eyes as you walk along the common folks? To be loved and praised like how he is? To be worshiped? You felt dizzy from being bombarded by this revelation.
You looked back up at Zephyr, hoping he could shed some more light on this predicament you found yourself in. However, you swallowed your words the moment you looked into his purple irises.
Zephyr was known for his gentle and endearing nature. Some say he's the embodiment of kindness. He's the type of person people can't help but be drawn towards due to the sense of security he gives and the tranquil aura he possesses. That was your initial impression of him too.
But looking at him now, you wondered if you were wrong.
With the closeness between you two, you could see the the subtle shade of pink on his cheeks and the flushing redness at the tip of his ears. His breathing fanned your face and you noticed how quick and shallow his breaths were. His fingers went from pressing firmly into your skin to digging themselves into your thighs and waist. Then, if you looked hard enough, you could see him swallowing occasionally.
And last but not least, you couldn't help but notice his eyes that had always been filled with warmth and tenderness seemed....
Crazed.
~✟~
A prologue/world building chapter for my future yandere stories taking place in this universe. If you spot any mistakes, please do point them out so I can correct them and give everyone the best reading experience! Especially with Calerus' old English(?) part, I'm still not sure when to use thee and when to use thou. I only did some basic research on Google.(T_T)
