… Zenitsu panics, because he thinks you’re laughing at him?! It doesn’t help that after literally anything he says or does, you burst into giggles… and your inability to explain that you’re laughing with him rather than at him (albeit, he isn’t exactly laughing — more so pouting) due to the constant onslaught of giggles only exacerbates his panic and confusion.

… Inosuke thinks it’s a competition. “DID YOU REALLY BELIEVE YOU COULD OUT LAUGH ME?!” *cue maniacal laughing fit* Meanwhile, you’re clutching your stomach, gasping for air, and entirely unable to inform him that: It isn’t a competition, idiot!

… Gyomei, the poor man, is just trying to meditate, but it’s hard for him to focus when you’re snorting every other second, your efforts to conceal your laughter less than successful. He doesn’t have the heart to ask you to leave, but he does gently (and sternly) cradle your head to his chest (he’s hoping his pulse’ll calm you), exasperated smile tugging at the corner of his mouth when you instead dampen his happi with your tears (from laughing so hard).

… Obanai tries to act irritated, but the twinkle in your eyes as you cling hopelessly to his haori’s sleeve, body shaking with laughter, is too endearing for him to maintain his facade. “Are you done?” he asks, indifference nearly giving way to a fond smile. “N-no!” you manage to gasp, promptly dissolving into another round of laughter, “Not even c-close!”

… Tanjirou waits for you to get it out of your system, smiling brightly the entire time. He doesn’t quite understand what’s so funny—all of his attempts to ask you result in half finished sentences interrupted by more laughter—but he does know you’re happy, and if you’re happy, then he’s happy!

… your tears initially worry Mitsuri, but once she’s confident that they’re happy tears, and after observing that she seems to be the reason behind them, she brings you a handkerchief and does her best to prolong your laughter (facepalm worthy puns are her specialty).

… Shinobu clucks her tongue, already knowing you’re eventually going to end up with the hiccups. “W-where are you *hiccup* g-oing?” you whine, eyes narrow with suspicion, “Don’t leave meee!” Rolling her eyes, she lightly flicks your forehead, voice wry with amusement, “I’m getting you a glass of water,” raising an eyebrow as you hiccup again, “You’re clearly going to need it,” pressing a soft kiss to your shoulder, “I’m not leaving you.”

… Kyojuro watches you with great interest, and mild concern. It only happened once, but once was enough. (it being you choking on your own spit from laughing too hard, and almost passing out because he didn’t realize you were actually choking versus laughing)

… Sanemi swears you’ve been possessed by the devil. “Nothing in this world is that funny,” he grumbles, swatting away your fingers as you attempt to pinch his cheeks, “Stop it.” Of course, his petulant grimace only makes you giggle harder, and you know he isn’t really mad when he finally acquiesces and allows you to wield his hand: “Why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself?” as you playfully smack his face with his palm, your delighted, triumphant grin soothing the glower in his stare. #the man is whipped #the man is in love

… Muichiro smiles ruefully, toe throbbing as you laugh and point at his misfortune. “A-are you o-okay?” you gasp between chuckles, “That chair really did a number on you!” What’s important to him is knowing that, were it a serious injury, you’d help first, laugh later… right?

… Giyuu prays it’ll end soon. Don’t get him wrong! He adores your smile, wishes he could bottle up your laughter for a rainy day, and overall cherishes your happiness… but he simply doesn’t know what to do when the giggles strike. Ok! My thoughts on 7x05!

First, i just wanna say that the whole Hen and Karen storyline is awesome! I love that the show is giving queer people so much screen time, especially a Black lesbian couple! And i think its super sweet that they really want to try for Mara! I hope it works out!

Next, i think that has been my favorite cold open so far. The “ITS MEEE” gets me every time (i have already watched it loads of times). I dont have much to comment on it other than it was funny as fuck

Ok. The date scene. I was hoping to see more of Eddie watching them (especially after the stills), but oh well. The second-hand embarrassment i got was… a lot. But i dont think its necessarily a bad thing. It showed how out of his comfort zone Buck was and how he was trying to navigate a terrifying situation. And Tommy? I might have to retract my earlier retraction. Cos wtf?? Literally had just finished talking about how its hard to accept yourself in a “macho” field, then makes a dig at Buck when he fumbles? Not cool. Then not communicating what was happening until he was getting in the Uber? You dont just abandon someone at a restaurant like that. I understand the “you’re not ready” thing, but that was a dick move.

Also, Buck, baby. Sweetheart. Darling. “I look at hot guys’ asses.” Sweetie. Like Maddie said. You are more than an ally lmao. I also just love how Maddie showed interest in getting to know who Buck was talking about and treating the convo after like a normal convo. Because it is! And i love it! But she also emphasized talking to Eddie, because she knew that Eddie would not react poorly. I feel like that just shows how everyone knows how close Buck and Eddie are. TLDR, Maddie is an awesome sister and Buck is lucky to have her ❤️

Next point, the scene where Buck and Tommy talk over coffee. I do think that the hand holding at the end is very sweet and shows how Buck is really trying to be more open, but Tommy is just really starting to rub me the wrong way. Pretty much everything he said contradicts what happened in the date scene. I feel like him being at the wedding is really gonna spark some Jealous Eddie, tho, so i am excited to see that lmao

And Eddie and Marisol? I feel like the show is going in a direction that leads them to breaking up. Like yes, it is showing growth for Eddie and allowed him to acknowledge that he has Catholic guilt, but theres just. No chemistry. It feels awkward. I feel like her being an ex-nun is gonna bring up some issues with Buck and Eddie will not stand for that. I also wanted to point out that i got even more vibes that Eddie could be demisexual, cos he didnt straight up say that he loved Shannon, just that he loved being married to her. And he knows that he is moving too fast and needs to step back a bit

Finally, Buck coming out to Eddie. I do find it funny that Eddie seemed more shocked that Tommy wasnt straight than figuring out Buck isnt straight. But its awesome that Eddie showed interest and genuinely wanted to help Buck through the issue. And the hug? Finally! Give me men not being afraid to hug each other! I feel like this is allowing Buck and Eddie to become even closer (i do hope for Buddie eventually)

Overall, i feel like this episode was great for setting up the development of Buck and Eddie’s relationship (whether it ends up being platonic or romantic). And i am all for Buck exploring his sexuality with someone that isnt Eddie. While Tommy isnt my favorite right now, i do think that he is great for the progression of Buck’s story. I do hope to see more of Dad!Bobby in the coming episodes and how Buck’s parents might react to Tommy. I dont wanna wait three weeks for the next episode 😢. Im ready for the chaos of the Madney wedding

Usually, Floyd would enjoy squeezing others but what if it was his girlfriend who did so?...

I got the idea when I kept on pondering over Floyd's habit of squeezing other students. So, how would you actually feel if your boyfriend hugged others? Did that mean you, his girlfriend was equal to others? It was a relief NRC is a boy school. This fanfic is kind of revenge from you to Floyd. Enjoy~~~

Azul was getting furious and more furious as Floyd kept on throwing tantrums during his work on very peak hours. We were talking about business now and it would be a loss for Floyd bad service! Every now and then, Floyd would say he was not in the mood to do the work as he was busy glaring and shooing at his schoolmates who had been given a hug by his girlfriend. That was not how it works in Mostro Lounge should be done! Even his beloved goldfish aka Riddle had make its way to his hated list when you literally beat Floyd first in hugging Riddle.

Floyd's heart kind of clenched in pain upon witnessing your arms circled tightly around Riddle's waist, head laid gently on his chest and what with the voice you used seductively saying you caught the Heartslabyul dorm head. Your voice should be his! Your body should be his! Were you playing around by having affairs while claiming his to be yours too? Floyd would never accept this kind of harem! He should be the one to squeeze you which was different from the scene he was watching certainly!

"Riddle~ hugging you is the best. Your height is just so perfect for meee"

A tray full of glasses shuttered on the ground as Floyd threw it angrily when he saw you rubbing your head on Riddle's chest. As Riddle being himself who had zero control over the situation, of course, his face had turned as red as tomato upon you being so clingy with him. With the help from the other students, Riddle was much alive luckily. However, someone still needed to be the sacrificing lamb as you would never be affectionate towards another than your boyfriend. You must be under a spell. By midnight, when you returned to the normal you, you hugged Floyd all the time and asked for forgiveness from him as you felt rather guilty although you did squeeze others with being under a spell.

"I'll only forgive you if you tell me who is behind the incident"

"Promise me you would not kill them" You reluctantly told everything you could remember before you were cast with the spell. Let's just say the next day, Ace, Deuce and Grim got a lot of loving hugs from Floyd as he basically chase after them whenever they came into contact.

"It is not funny for getting Y/N getting involve with the three of your stupidity..."

Although the incident gave a bitter experience to some students, we could say you took advantage of it as you knew now how possessive Floyd was over you. At least you did not feel jealous anymore whenever Floyd shared his loving hug with other students as you knew how to counter his action back.

"If you squeeze Riddle again, I greatly have the right to do the same!" You claimed as you saw Floyd about to hug his goldfish again.

"Are you kidding me now, Y/N" You are much braver to threaten Floyd now. The situation ended up with both of you hugging each other whenever another person was about to squeeze another student. It was a happy ending we could say or not for Azul who needed to bear the weirdos couple as part of his life.

I'm planning on making a much more in depth post about Eggman and Gerald in the future because I have WAY more to say but I just wanna compile the instances of this certain funny fact about it that I absolutely love.

Even though Gerald was Eggman's idol and he was inspired by him and he had all these great things to say about him, he can't ever mention/praise him without praising himself/flexing that he's related to him in at least some way.

He calls Gerald the greatest scientific genius in the HISTORY of the world, and adds "that's my grandpa" like "not everyone gets to say that, how cool am I for that haha." Love how you can hear the pride in the tone of his voice too.

But he also calls himself the greatest scientific genius of the world as the opening for every journal entry and says he'll mark his own place in history as the ULTIMATE genius.

Because Gerald had his time with the title and status when he was alive but it's his time now.

He also literally says this word for word on the subject of Gerald again in Shadow 2005 btw, as a way to say he had his turn and now it's time for him to do whatever he wants with what he left behind as he pleases. Another selfish move.

And with the proud "and my grandfather" again added on right after the fact, it's like he's like "AND he’s also the grandfather of the best person and greatest scientific genius in the fucking universe and that’s even cooler baby!!!" ahfjhkafhsfgh he’s so funny 🥰

And then in TailsTube, he couldn't mention Shadow being created by Gerald without bragging about being related to him again, as a way to praise himself for his genius by being related to him so it's like it runs in the family. Anything to give himself some of that praise.

It's literally just like Eggman with Sage. LITERALLY just like it. It's super funny how the way he talks about both further proves that he can't value/respect/praise anyone without making it about himself as the massive fucking egotist he is, it's 100% never genuine and selfless and I believe he's incapable of that.

That's why I headcanon that another part of why Eggman was inspired so much by Gerald is that being related to him also helped with his hope to accomplish his own dreams and always fed his ego to take pride in even back as a child. Because judging by the jealousy and selfish egotistical entitlement he says he's always had in the Egg Memos, nothing has changed.

Along with how it seems he only praises him from an academic perspective in genius and science instead, as his good deeds never factored in the reasons. I think a huge part of his admiration for Gerald was always about seeing himself in him for his genius and science and the pride he felt and it's why he felt so entitled to attention and power.

Eggman's narcissism, egotism, selfishness, and pride always factors into literally everything he does. He is the epitome of self-centered. I love how it shows in everything he does. Even with the closest he gets to admiring and valuing anyone like Sage or even Gerald in any way, it's for the pride he can have in being related to them in any way and the ways he can benefit.

This also goes back to how I said it's different when it comes to Maria because not only did he not create her like Sage, he also can't relate to her like he could with Gerald to any degree, so he couldn't take pride in her for the same way. And that's why he hates the attention she got- because he can't have a piece of that pie.

Also speaking of Eggman feeling entitled to attention, power, and anything else he wants, he uses his relation to Gerald to say that he's entitled to doing whatever he pleases with any of Gerald's creations as his grandson, including Shadow himself, which he uses as a way to demand him to obey him. This level of entitlement and selfishness isn't very respecting of his idol's memory, huh?

I bring this up in this post because along with the entitlement and selfishness, there's actually also some pride in there with the "it was MY grandfather who created you"

I'm gonna get into this part and more about how Eggman talks about Gerald much deeper in a bigger analysis post in the future though because I have WAY more to say.

But yeah god I just want you to know how much I love this asset of it for now, how he can't genuinely praise anyone selflessly and always has to use it to praise himself, even when it comes to Gerald and Sage.

But in Generations even when he has the power to travel through time and fuck with the past it's just like "fuck Gerald the only person as smart as me is myself" jhsdjkdjkghfdbskfj

Tangled: Before Ever After

Summary/general overview

Taking place not long after the events of Tangled, Rapunzel is faced by the stress of her coronation, royal duties, her father's overprotectiveness, and her overall dissatisfaction at her "happily ever after." Eugene is having a great time and makes the ill-advised decision to propose. We're introduced to Rapunzel's lady-in-waiting and best friend, Cassandra, and the overarching conflict of the indestructible Black Rocks, which cause Rapunzel's golden hair to return, this time just as indestructible as the rocks.

My Opinion

I don't have many strong thoughts on it, compared to other episodes. I think it's a solid introduction to the series, relationship dynamics between the main characters, and the conflict, especially that of season 1. I loved Lady Caine, and I wish we could've seen her more later in the series. I like that King Frederick's overprotectiveness is present even from the pilot, and it just makes me dislike him more :) I hate that Eugene proposed. I like that they stayed true to the movie, when Eugene mentions that he asked MULTIPLE times, but GOD he does it at the worst times throughout the whole series..... anyways. I think it had a problem with "show don't tell" when it came to the expository stuff. (Ex. Cass's whole "when you're the daughter of the captain of the guard" thing). I like that Rapunzel feels "trapped" by her father's protectiveness, and I love that they didn't just ignore that she's been trapped in a tower with NO freedom for 18 whole years (not that I thought they would, BUT...) 9/10

Music

Life After Happily Ever After- I love this song SO much. It's so underrated, but it always gets so stuck in my head. I love that Eugene is straight vibing, while Rapunzel's internal conflict is introduced. I don't know, I just think it's funny that they're having such different emotions. 8/10

Wind in my Hair- LOVE IT. It's catchy, the instrumentals SLAP, and of course I can't not mention RAPUNZEL'S DESIRE FOR FREEDOMMM (she's literally meee). 10/10

Wind in my Hair (Reprise)- I like it. I don't have much more to say. The instrumentals are pretty. 7/10
