i just need one person to assume the guy buck kissed was eddie

just ONE please

like can you imagine:

buck is coming out to hen and chimney at the fire station, it’s a parallel to how he told taylor he “kissed someone” but this time he says it with a soft smile on his face, and adds on, “it was uh- it was a guy, actually” and hen and chim are just. so completely and utterly proud and happy for him.

the same time this happens, eddie is coming up the stairs (their shift is about to start or something) and chim gets up from where he’s sitting, walks over to eddie with his hand raised for a high five, and says “congrats diaz! about damn time! and perfect timing for our wedding!” eddie is obviously confused, but accepts the high five anyway. “uh, thank you?”

chim’s brain finally catches up with the confusion plastered all over eddie’s face, and asks, “wait, you’re not the one who-“

“—-whoooo finally made it official with marisol! and just in time for maddie and chim’s wedding like you said! wow!” hen intercepts before chim could finish his actual question, pulling him away as they head back down the way eddie came.
