I find it extremely realistic that Fabian is the most popular kid in school because if they announced that someone killed the clearly evil robot principle and the kid who killed him just yelled “GOT EM!” and then proceeded to have zero repercussions for killing the principle I would think he’s cool as shit too man

thinking about tracker “you might not want to be a chosen one of helio but you still want the easy life handed to you” o’shaughnessy who has spent her whole life struggling, who was told that she was a monster and despised by her god, looking around at her church which is thriving and funded and not being sure if that’s good because she’s so unused to the easy path

riz going "you know how sometimes people make stuff up" and the immediate response of "no i actually don't" coming from figueroth faeth is so extremely funny

real talk though… nara being described as kristen with money is making me go insane… part of what tracker talks about when she’s cursed in the nightmare forest (which I took as sort of a drunk words are sober thoughts logic) was that kristen relied so heavily on tracker and needed her so much to the point that tracker felt that she couldn’t have the same. and it’s not that kristen was unwilling or unwanting even to help, but that she had so much stuff going on that she literally couldn’t, and tracker, though she loved (loves?) kristen deeply also resented that. it makes perfect sense that tracker would gravitate to nara, who has the same impulsive quality that initially attracted tracker to kristen, but has the resources and support system that kristen doesn’t. bc not only does nara support tracker with galicaea stuff (and comes with perks of having wealth and influence and power) but nara has parents who she is seemingly in good terms with. where tracker had to fill a void of familial support in addition to romantic love for kristen, nara’s whole deal is… at least simpler? crazy subtle characterization with that one
