My fellow transmasculine/dysphoric afab people, I discovered a thing
If you’re pre-T like me and wear mostly tee shirts, you may have been trying to tone up your arms
I started lifting weights years ago and it’s going well, but I always struggled making progress when it came to my forearms
My teeny-tiny wrists were a source of insecurity and dysphoria for me at times and because I have hyper-extensive joints I would hurt them a lot trying to do ✨manly✨ things like opening the orange juice for myself-
Well, there’s a youtube video I found and I’ve been doing it every 2-3 days for 2 weeks (and swapping it for my regular arm workouts + rest days etc)
I have very weak arms so I’ve only been doing half of the workouts listed in the video at any given time, and my wrists are literally like 1.5 to 2cm wider after 2 weeks

I’ve been using 4.5 kg weights but as I said I can only get through half the video this way
Please don’t overwork your wrists, especially if you’re like me and your joints are prone to injury

I’m feeling proud of myself and my progress, so here: tits n’ guns.
A year ago, I hated my body. Glad the T has helped me love it again. With a bit of work, I’ve turned the jelly on my chest into bedrock. 🖤

For other trans-mascs who want to get shredded, here’s my workout routine for arms and chest days:
DO YOUR STRETCHES
15 minutes high intensity elliptical / treadmill
6 to 8 sets tricep machine extensions, 10-15 reps, each set adding weight (I start at 23kg and work my way up to 45kg)
6 to 8 sets bicep curls, 10-15 reps, each set (or two) adding weight (I start at 9kg and work up to 32kg)
3 sets lateral raises, 10-15 reps, first at 9kg, then 14, then 18kg.
5 sets converging chest press / military press, 10-15 reps, starting at 18kg, working up to 45kg.
6-8 sets pull ups / chin ups, 10-15 reps, from assisted 14kg, working down until I’m pulling my own body weight (roughly 60kg) (This one is the most important exercise for turning jelly tits into muscle tits and building shoulder mass)
10 minute high intensity elliptical again, then 5 minute cooldown.
Once you’re done with that, slap some deep heat on your arms / upper chest, get a protein shake and some creatine down your neck, then have a big dinner and treat yourself. ❤️❤️❤️ (I usually try to aim for 3000 cal per day)
I do this at least twice a week. Also another thing I cannot stress enough because of how good it is, if this routine is too hard for you, get into swimming. If your joints hurt like mine used to, GET INTO SWIMMING. Swimming will help you get fitter and stronger without putting strain on your joints bc water buoyancy n shit.
Crazy that a year ago I was severely underweight and using a walking aid. Things can and do get better, guys. Look after yourselves and eat well.

who the fuck was gonna tell me working out isn’t supposed to hurt. just did the first workout where i was actually trying, and when something didn’t feel right i changed what i was doing, and it burns but i’m not in total fucking agony. i used to be in actual horrific amounts of pain so i didn’t work out, now i listen to my body and it feels good!? i understand why people enjoy this shit now. my muscles feel spicy. anytime i used to complain about being in agony when working out i would only get replies like “that’s the point” and “it’s supposed to feel like that” NO ITS NOT!!!! IF YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM MASS AMOUNTS OF PAIN FROM WORKING OUT THATS NOT NORMAL! ITS SUPPOSED TO BURN! THIS IS AMAZING NEW INFO THAT I WISH I HAD BEFORE.

I am devastated to learn that working out might not reduce my breast size. I was searching for ftm workout stuff. What is the point then. I even bought whey protein or something like that and my weights (4 lbs I think 2x) are about to be delivered.
Exercise kind of gives me euphoria but...I mean...

Fuck man I need to get this body ripped. Twink ass fucking body, don’t get me wrong we love a twink but am a TWUNK GODDAMNIT. System problems man, I don’t look like the body does. Anyone got good arm and ab workouts for someone over a year on T? We already bike and swim a lot, but we need to build up some muscle here.

easy 25 workout:
-25 lunges
-25 pushups
-25 situps
burns around 55 calories for someone my size, and you can double, triple, even quadruple this workout if you need to burn more. easy to remember, easy to do!!

If you're trying to make your chest smaller: pushups
Srsly DO THEM. I never rlly did pushups ever cuz I couldn't even do ONE without wanting to cry. But I started doing 10 then 20 and I'm now up to 40 and my chest got smaller, now it happened so fast for me cuz I also increased my protein and I used to take birth control but I stopped cuz it was making my chest bigger and my weight started to drop rapidly, so it may not happen as quick for you but pushups do work, it builds muscle in your arms, shoulders, and chest. Muscle can help reduce fat so the fat in your chest will reduce making it smaller since tatas are mainly just fat and you'll get upper body strength too soooo bonus!
