You had always been a little kinder compared to the other kitsunes, a little more gentle with your followers and the people who believed in you. You were more docile compared to the more mischievous ones. You were a small yokai, recently born compared to those who lived hundreds of years. You had fewer followers than them, with no more than 100, most of them older. Maybe that was why you were more cautious, watching over them rather than teasing them.
You acted almost like a caretaker to them. You were a kitsune with one tail, still young in the eyes of other yokai, yet with just enough power to give a little relief in the lives of those who believed in you. But you didn't lose that mischievous part of yourself. While limited, you often teased the little boy, the son of a widow. You would appear in front of him, playing with him, only to disappear when the mother showed up.
You were the boy's friend, playing with him when he seemed lonely, showing him small things that you could do with magic. The brightening of his face always made you smile. You took care of the people who lived in a small village, and more often than not, they would leave you sweets or food that they made on the windowsill, which you often snacked on.
While yokai could appear in front of humans, they mainly changed their appearances when doing so, which was the same for you, as you hid your tail and ears while chatting with the elderly. You were known to be somewhat mysterious, yet many were still welcoming towards you.
Your personality was different for a kitsune. While you did have some personality traits, it would have still been obvious to any yokai that you were different. It was that personality that made you leave the village just for moments to follow and protect your followers. The child that you grew to care for so much was leaving as his mother wanted to make money in the city.
It was not the first time you had gone to the city, having followed many of your followers before out of curiosity, now mainly out of worry over them as they aged with white hair while you stayed the same.
The two of them planned on going to the city nearest to the village, a place you often visited compared to other places. You followed them, thinking that you would only stay for a moment to see if they reached to the destination safely and found a place to sleep. After a week of travel, they and you stepped into the gates of the city.
Unknown to you, shared eyes watched you from afar, already having noticed your little visit to the city where those served him.
He was the same as you, a kitsune but born longer than you and worshiped by the whole city. Living in the tallest building of the city, canine eyes watched you from far away as he licked his lips. His nine tails swayed softly as if excited and somewhat expectant, seeing you finally come back after what he thought was so long.
It was only by chance that you two had met a few years ago. He was sure that you had already forgotten, but for him, it was just so difficult to forget such a cute lady. Back when he had changed himself into a civilian, he remembered bumping into a lady at a corner of a small shop. You were in disguise too back then, yet for someone as powerful as him, it was easy to identify that you were not human but a yokai kitsune like him. A quick apology and both of you were on your way. He thought he would forget the young kitsune.
Till he saw you again, this time without a disguise yet hidden in the eyes of the humans, watching some travelers, an old couple that wanted to sell their harvest. Your eyes were watching them, both fox ears trained towards them while your tail lightly swayed side to side. On top of the roof of a building you sat, yet you were elegant and sophisticated yet unexpectedly innocent. You were not like what he had expected, though this was his first time actually seeing you, he had his expectations over his own kind after living for hundreds of years.
A lot of kitsunes lacked care over humans, having more selfish desires and thoughts. They thrived off entertainment like mischievous pranks or lust. They were mainly self-centered and greedy, thinking only for themselves. He was the same when he was younger, but as he continued to live, a lot of those interests started to dwindle as he had gotten bored of doing the same thing over and over again.
Instead of focusing on his greed, he created a city of his own that worships the ground he steps on. He had everything in his hands, yet even that quickly grew boring.
He was bored out of his mind, wondering what other entertainment he should search for as he continued to stay in the land. He watched you silently follow the couple, hopping on the roofs of the buildings and making soft taps on the bricks roofs with your wooden slippers.
He didn't follow you and didn't see you again for a few months. He had already forgotten about you as he stared down into the buildings from high up in his tower. He was still bored even after some entertainment with other yokai, wondering what to do, when he saw you again entering the gates. Invisible to the naked eyes of humans, you followed another person who came to the village to trade. The Kitsune had figured out that you had come here following those who believed in you, as many yokai disappear when no humans believe they are real.
Yet he still couldn't make sense of your decisions. Many choose to make more followers and believers, leaving those who already believe, if not with a little scare if they felt generous. Yet you would go out of your way to watch the people who followed you. Truthfully, he would find it dreadful to even think about following a human. They live such slow, boring lives, and it would be painful for him, who craves entertainment, to watch over a person like that.
Yet his eyes would not leave you, picking up a grape from the bowl and tossing it into his mouth. There were many yokais that came here, a place packed with people. While they could stay as long as they didn't cause any huge problems, he personally didn't care much for what they did. The more he watched, the more he realized that he could not help but stare at your eyes. He had met quite a few kitsunes in the past, and many younger kitsunes most of the time didn't really know what they were doing, often showing in their eyes that they were without a goal, while others were mainly obsessed with material things or fame.
Your eyes were different. If he had to pick a word, it would be cute. Your eyes held so much affection towards your followers, caring and concern for their well-being. It was both amusing and entertaining to him that he could not help but watch.
Over the years, he would look forward to your visits. Your cautious eyes, when you finally noticed someone watching, made him excited as he watched you look left and right, wondering. He found your affection wanting, the attention you give towards those you like. He wanted your attention, wanting no more than to tease you some days, wondering how you would react if someone were to take away the people you give all your care to.
Yet his tails could not help but stop for a moment as he watched you. Your ears down nearer to your head while your tail was down, almost as if saddened. There was a smile on your face, still with affectionate eyes, yet they were mixed in with sadness. He could just stare at you, for the first time he had ever seen your face express another emotion other than what was normally seen. Your lovely face as you waved goodbye at the little boy who just for a moment looked back and saw you. The smile that spread on his face as he raised his hand to wave at you.
"Bye bye!!"
His mother had asked him who he was waving at, but the boy didn't answer, instead grinning at her.
As you watched them go, unable to follow them for fear you would not be able to leave if you did so, you stayed still for a moment. When you could not see them in the crowds of people, you took a step back and walked the opposite road, completely unaware of how lustful someone was looking at you.
He adored you. He adored you so much. His precious little tempting fox. Your little saddened face was just so delicious in his eyes, far more compared to your startled expression when you watched one of your older friends suddenly trip on a rock. It drove him insane how cute you were.
He had to have you. He would drag you back to his home and keep you with him like a little wife pet. Your innocence compared to his hundreds of years of knowledge would make it so easy to keep you in his arms, even if you tried to escape. Your crying face would be a delight to see. He wanted to see it. Nothing could get him more aroused than your own tears. He watched you leave, moving when he could not see you anymore, his heart beating like crazy as he continued to think about your lovely innocent expressions, all belonging to him. Touching his face with his cold hand, his long nails lightly digging into his cheeks, he felt how warm they were.
It was soon that you reached your village. The villagers greeted you with smiles on their faces as you tried to greet them back. But it seemed that your sadness may have showed when a grandmother patted you on the back. "There, there, child. You shouldn't be so sad." The grandmother explained that people come and go in the village due to its small inhabitance. "The little boy will remember you and come back one day. But for now, focus on the present. I heard from a friend that you don't have a lover yet! You are a very beautiful soul; you should be searching for one now! Otherwise, it will be too late to have a child of your own!"
“Have a little boy just like that kid, you could adore.”
The grandmother gave more words of comfort, even though you were older than her by a few years, and some of her words were a little much. Even if you were older, you could not help but flush at her words, causing her to laugh.
"Hahaha, you remind me so much of my old friend. We were friends at such a young age, yet she had to move away after I got married. Even she was someone easy to fluster like you." The grandmother told you with a wide smile on her face. "Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to keep in touch, so I don't know how she is doing now, but I hope she is doing well."
You couldn't help but smile at the old lady who was reminiscing about the past. "I think she is doing fine for herself," you said with confidence, which made the grandmother look at you in surprise but burst out laughing again. "She probably is. Probably found someone nice and living her life with 10 kids of her own and 20 grandkids." "I- I am not su-" "Nah, she is too pretty for her own good and has always been the type to care for others. I doubt that the man could not help but give a few more." The old woman cackled again at her own joke as she walked away, waving at you and stating that she had some rice cakes that you and her should eat.
It took some time, the lack of that boyish sound left a hole in your heart, but like any other time, you knew you would heal. Watching over the houses, you noticed some carts coming into the village. Fancy transport carriages; you thought there was someone important visiting here. You couldn't help but become curious as you stepped down to the grassy floor, changing to your disguise as you hid your ears and tail, and drew closer to the stopped carriage. Curiously looking at the servants talking with the mayor of the village, for what you could gather, they seemed to wish to stay here just for a few nights.
The mayor was unsure about the whole situation, as not only was this sudden due to how fancy the carriage was, he wasn't sure if the village had the means to serve the guest, but the servant reassured them that they don't need to do anything.
Walking up to one of the villagers, you asked what was going on. "Ehhh, just some rich man wanting to stay here for a while. Probably a break from traveling, but really it is just too sudden," an uncle answered your question, crossing his hands as he looked judgmentally at the cart when it suddenly opened.
From the cart walked out a very handsome man. Tall with a lean figure and a bit of muscle. He had a smile on his mouth as he walked toward the mayor. "Please do not worry about the service. I know we had come without any prior notice," his voice was deep and velvet as he continued to talk, his narrow eyes staring kindly at the mayor. Even with a smile on his face, there was something intimidating about him. You watched quietly, wondering if this was really okay, but without causing any trouble to anyone here, you couldn't do much.
Silently, you watched the mayor and the travelers go, the old man taking them away to a place where they could rest, leaving behind whispers between the people.
While most didn't care much for the arrived guest and his servants, many of the younger ladies were extremely excited when they saw his face. They talked among themselves about how handsome he was, wondered if he was married, and daydreamed about being picked up by such a man. You didn't care much for such topics. Turning on your heel, you left, deeming that there should not be any problem here. Planning on going back, you stopped and turned around, your eyes widening in caution.
You felt someone watching you.
You turned left and right, searching for them, wondering if it was a yokai that was looking at you, yet you could not find one that had a stare that made your back so heavy and raised the fur on your tail so badly. It wasn't the first time either. Many times you felt that stare when you were in the city, yet you never seemed to find the reason why or from whom it was coming. You thought that here you would not have to experience this, that in your safe haven, unlike the city, you would be able to avoid it.
But you could find nothing, and almost everyone except for the chatting girls was all gone, busy with their own days...
A day passed since those people came. You chose not to bother with them after sneaking in last night to check on them, wondering if they were really good people. As you watched them interact with the head in a kind manner, you decided to leave them be.
On your own, you chose to take on your human form as you watched the villagers care for the fields. Taking a seat on top of a branch of a tall tree in the mountain, you watched from afar. After the boy had left, you had become too bored, feeling solemn, mainly as the child who you were close to had to leave.
You knew that it was bound to happen, yet you could not help but miss the boy. The smaller yokais told you to just take the boy, take him away from the world and to the yokai one and keep him for yourself forever. But not once did you entertain that thought; the idea of taking the boy's life away was horrible in your eyes. His mother was also someone you held affection towards, a kind lady who had invited you to her home many times in the past, even when they barely had much to eat.
You wanted the little one to stay, but you also knew that you could not trap him, yet your heart was sad.
"Hello, there." Your tails and ears almost poofed into view at the voice, your body raising up from its relaxed position as you looked at the back. Under the tree on the side was a man alone, looking at you with a smile on his face. "Ah... sorry, I didn't mean to startle you like that." He looked amused due to your reaction. You tilted your head in wonder as you looked at the man, recognizing him from yesterday as he and his entourage had chosen to stay in the village for a few days.
"Did I scare you?" He asked, raising a brow. You narrowed your eyes a little at him but chose to nod. It wasn't like you could even deny it. "Don't you know it is rude to creep up on someone like that?" Your voice a little snappish as you tried to contain your annoyance at the fact that your alone time had been taken away, and that you were also taken off guard.
Haha... Sorry, I will keep that in mind."
You examined him from head to toe, wearing a yukata and cleanly put, you could not help but stare at his face. His smile and his narrow eyes and sharp features made him look almost like a fox.
"What are you doing? Is the view from there nice?" he asked, and for a moment you thought about whether you should actually continue to talk to him. Not having the heart to decline as the man acted more from harmless mischievousness, you didn't push him away. Instead, you invited him up the tree.
He complimented the view of the place from the tree, stating that he mainly lived in the city, so it had been a long time since he last took the time to relax in the countryside. The topics you chatted between the two of you were mainly surface-level topics, nothing deep, yet hinting at reminiscing the past.
You almost felt seen by him. It was something hard to explain, yet because your lifespan was so much different than that of humans, there was a bit of a gap when it comes to understanding. They would never understand what you feel because they would never live that long.
You didn't count the time, yet as you noticed the sun now in a different position in the sky, you realized that you have been here for a few hours. "I must leave now," you told him, for it wasn't long until you have used a lot of your powers and need to change up.
A frown graced the lips of the man looked beautiful under the sunset. "Ah, that is such a shame. I was enjoying talking to you," he stated, and you could not help but feel the same. "How about we meet again here if you are not busy tomorrow?" He offered.
You looked at him, his smile still with its mischievousness, yet a hand reaching out as a kind gesture. You thought that it would be okay. The loneliness you had in your heart was stilled just for a moment after the boy and his mother left that you could not help it when your mouth and head moved, agreeing to meet him again here at the same time tomorrow.
You met him the next day, the same place. He was sitting on the same spot of the huge tree as he looked at you with a smile, offering tea. The rich flavor that coated your tongue was delicious. The man laughed at your face, teasing you when you asked him why he was laughing.
There was no tension in the air. Time flew too quickly when you became comfortable around him, able to open up your feelings when it usually takes a long time when it comes to others. Almost every day, you met him under that same tree.
"I see our young lady finally fell in love?" The grandmother chuckled when you choked on your tea at her words. Grinning like a cat when you looked embarrassed. "Finally, time you found someone who could take care of you."
"Please don't say that... we are mere... acquaintances," you said hesitantly, unable to call that person a friend nor anything more than that. The old lady laughed again, patting your shoulder. You knew that she understood your feelings but also wanted only the best for you.
"So we are acquaintances?" the voice was too low, too muffled to hear, even for your ears to hear as you glanced at him blinking. He laughed on the other side of the branch, stating that it was nothing.
"I am going to be leaving soon." His words made you snap your head at him, in shock, then realizing what you just did, tried to calm yourself. "Oh..." you said hesitantly, looking away from him. "That... that is unfortunate." You were a little saddened, to be honest, that he was leaving, but it was coming after all. The crew was only resting here and needed to leave at one point.
“Yeah..." He passed you a cup of tea that he had brought again to drink here. Taking the tea, you took a sip of it, yet the flavor wasn't as strong or vibrant as before, dulled by your own feelings as you watched the liquid ripple in your hands. "Some business that I need to get to," he told you as you took another sip of your tea, still feeling your throat parched.
"Oh..." You said again, unsure of what to say. He had told you that he was a merchant travelling and just happened to arrive here at some point.
"Hey..." his voice was hesitant, yet for a silent moment he took a deep breath. "Why... why don't you come with me?"
You looked at him, surprised by his words again. You saw how determined his eyes were as he looked at you. "Please... please come with me! I like you a lot, and I promise I will take care of you if you choose to follow me," the man said, leaning towards your branch with a hand on his heart. "I have a difficult time being around people sometimes outside things related to business, yet with you, I always have fun. You are kind and thoughtful, you care so much about the people here. It is heartwarming to listen. If you want me, I promise I will make you happy."
You leaned away, almost intimidated by his actions. "Huh...? What are you talking about?" You didn't understand at all what he was talking about.
"Please marry me," he told you, finally spilling the words after having a difficult time holding it in. "I will make you the happiest woman alive."
Staring at him and his proposal, you thought about the time for the past few days, the bond that you started to form with him. It was often that within a few days of knowing each other, people tend to marry here.
But words clogged your mouth, unable to leave. While you do treasure the time you spent with this man, the village that you lived in for much longer was still your priority because even if he did understand your feelings, the time you spent with people here had much more value to you.
"I-..." You wanted to decline. After all, you were also a kitsune, a different kind of species compared to him, a human. You wanted to say that when the world suddenly blurred. "I-..." You wanted to get the words out, but dizziness stopped you again.
You saw his eyes, the realization that you planned to reject him, you just needed to bring those words out. "That is…" You didn't know what happened, nor what had caused you to lose all your energy all of a sudden. When the world turned upside down, you felt the wind on your face as you fell from the branch.
How did you become like this?
You thought your sudden fall would hurt yet instead of reaching the grassy floor harshly, you were gently lowered into the arms of another. You tried to open your eyes, wondering who caught you, and saw a man with ears like yours holding you. He was far more handsome than the merchant, but had a more cunning look and a more wicked grin compared to the mischievous smile the merchant had.
You didn't know this person. Your eyes widened as you shoved him away, hopping away from his hold and distancing yourself from him. Your disguise cancelled away as you glared at the yokai, who was the same as you. When did he come so close? How did you not see him? Multiple questions went through your brain as you bared your claws at him. Counting his tails, you knew he was far stronger than you. If he was maybe a three-tail, maybe you would have a chance, but he was triple that.
“Who are you?” You demanded, wondering why he was in your territory.
“Got your little claws out, huh? I am hurt, dear, especially when we had so much fun together these past few days.” He raised his hands, showing that he meant no harm, but you didn't believe it at all, trying to stay away even as the thing in your system continued to cause you to be so tired. “I never met you,” you growled at him.
“Oh? How can you be so sure? I was right beside you, sitting on this tree this whole time.” He raised a brow, a mischievous grin on his lips that was too similar to a certain someone. Your eyes widened as you took a step back. How did you not notice? Why did you even let your guard down?
“You… you lied to me!?” you demanded an answer as the man shook his head, sighing as if your anger was nothing more than a child’s tantrums that he needed to care for. “You would not let me get close to you if I did show my real self,” he talked as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
You didn't understand why he did that. Why would a nine tail kitsune take such an interest in you that he would pull a prank like this? But it seems that he was able to read your mind, crossing his arms, his golden eyes watching you. “I have taken an interest in you, my dear. The many years that I watched you visit my place has always been a delight for me, that when you didn't come, I could not help but be a little upset. But it is okay, I will always forgive you.” He took a step closer to you, watching you as you continued to lose strength. “Yet to only watch for so long has its limits, don't you think? When you are so adorable skipping around my own turf, don't you think it would be difficult for me not to get my hands on you? I just thought that maybe you would prefer something romantic.”
“I am hurt, dear, that you would still deny me like that when I went through all that trouble. But it is okay, I will forgive after we fix your habits a little at my shrine.” You growled at him, refusing to follow him, pushing yourself to even stand at this point. “Now, now, you shouldn't push yourself too much. The tea was drugged a little, something I made just for you if you had chosen to be a little naughty. Nothing dangerous, I assure you. All you have to do is just relax, and I will take you home.”
You tried to make a run for it, but your powers were restricted, and when your leg caught your own, you fell to your back. You could not catch yourself, as your energy continued to be sucked away from you. You thought that you would hit the floor again when a pair of arms caught you again. “Tch, tch, my little kit is so weak and clumsy when she is tired, hmm?”
He laughed, golden fox eyes staring at you. You felt something furry touch your cheek, moving your hair away from your face. “Don't worry, dear. I will help you learn how to use your powers well, and you will now be mine and mine alone.”
You tried to move your body, tried to push him away, but it was as if weights were placed on your body, preventing you from moving even just a little. You tried to stay awake, to make sense of all this, yet nothing seemed to work as sleep slowly took you away.
“Don't worry, my dear little fox. You will be my lovely mate, and I will take care of you from now on, okay?”

Yandere! Yokai Harem Headcanons
Meet your (6) monster boyfriends!
Since the story will take a while to unfold, I decided to speed things up and properly introduce you to the characters. A little time skip to Reader becoming an onmyōji herself and renewing the bonds with the yokai men, this time at their request. They cannot bear the thought of separating from their darling and since she has reneged her life as a regular human being, someone has to keep her company. And so the days are spent exorcising evil spirits both in modern and feudal Japan, with a pack of demons following close behind.
[Main story] [Character Guide]
Content: female reader, monster smut, NSFW, obsessive behavior, reader is a monster hoe again but feigns mild reluctance
Tumblr media
Kiritsubo
Kiritsubo is your very first yokai encounter and he almost immediately falls for you. He's always been at the receiving end of his master's wrath for not being able to use his powers, so much that even after Nakamaro’s ‘death’ he couldn’t sleep without being plagued by horrid nightmares. His back is covered in thick scars from the frequent punishments. You first begun to suspect his background when you jumped in to protect him from an incoming blow and he froze in terror, unable to look up and awaiting the anticipated discipline.
Needles to say that when he learns you're not like the previous onmyōji he becomes extremely clingy and needy. He can only rest if you're next to him and will often hug you for reassurance. You've shared a bed before there was any hint of romance, simply because he found your presence so soothing. That's not to say he relies on you for everything. In fact, he unlocks his nearly unmatched abilities purely out of his desire to protect you. He’s found his purpose in serving you, someone who showed him kindness when he needed it most.
As you go out into the world, he begins to question his exact feelings for you. An example of his intense musings: he's asked you, perplexed, whether he can kiss you like the people he's seen on the street. He's spent his entire life being trained by Abe no Nakamaro, so he struggles to understand how relationships work. He will be utterly oblivious to other people flirting with him (it happens every now and then, he is a handsome demon after all), but simultaneously worry that everyone is out to have you. He’s already very salty about the other yokai joining your side and will frequently remind them he was the first to accept you.
When you complete your transition as an onmyōji, the priestess warns you that you may no longer partake in any kind of bonding with your fellow humans. Kiritsubo, seated next to you, responds almost instantly with eyes sparkling in excitement: "Well, that doesn’t extend to yokai, does it? I can still make you my wife.”
Kiritsubo is very clumsy when being intimate with you for the first time, but it doesn’t take long for him to become rather addicted to the feeling. You often have to scold him to behave and in return he’ll be pouting and fidgeting until you finally give in to his pleading gaze. He’s very vocal and touchy and will leave you covered in scratches from all the pulling. Towards the end he’s a drooling mess, mumbling about how much he loves you and begging you to never, ever leave him.
Murasaki
Murasaki is very cold and sarcastic on the surface, but you soon realize he is the most caring and responsible of the group, always looking out for everyone and trying to keep them out of trouble. In fewer words, he's almost like a tsundere mother hen (he won't hesitate to put you in a headlock if you mention it, though). He goes along with your wishes and will politely listen to anything you tell him, but to others he remains stoic and even rude. You’re sometimes reminded of the preferential treatment when witnessing his aggressive way of dealing with his suitors, shooing them away with the utmost disgusted scowl.
“Huh? Why can’t I be nicer to others? Bold of you to assume my tolerance is not, in fact, a limited resource spent entirely on dealing with you.”
He's been your guardian from the day you met him. He taught you how to use a sword and how to properly cast spells and seems to have a solution for all your troubles. When you introduced the yokai to the modern world you assumed he'd struggle to adapt, but he was extremely quick to learn and is, to this day, accumulating knowledge at a dizzying pace. One wouldn't be able to tell him apart from a regular city dweller. Murasaki is the concrete definition of a jack of all trades, excelling in whatever he sets his mind on.
Given his status and skills, the other yokai have always been rather jealous of him, including Kiritsubo. Ironically enough, by the time Murasaki accepted his infatuation towards you, you'd already gotten close to Kiritsubo. Which resulted in a lot of unexplained jealous bouts from a yokai too prideful to admit he loves you just as much. (You eventually get him to confess and reach the agreement to distribute the wealth among workers.)
He will occasionally be in a good enough mood to share with Kiritsubo, but it frequently results in a bizarre competition between them as you awkwardly squirm underneath, overstimulated. More often he prefers to pull you aside after you've done the deed with another yokai and aggressively fuck you as a way to assert his dominance. "Oh, was he that good? Then why are you moaning much louder now?" He'll demand with a firm grasp around your throat. Sadly his extreme competitiveness extends to this area as well.
Suma
Among the yokai, Suma is the most easygoing one despite his intimidating appearance. Most evenings he’ll have a drink in hand, eager to chitchat and ramble by the campfire, with his relaxed laughter resounding across the place. He is very loud and blunt and will often need to be reminded of the colossal power imbalance between him and regular humans and demons. Although after accidentally dislocating your shoulder (he was terribly amused by your joke and gave you a friendly pat), he’s gotten much better at adjusting the amount of force he uses, especially with you.
You’ve only witnessed him serious on two occasions: first one is a recurring event, when he’s training alone. When you’re together, he’s always in a merry mood, letting you try out moves and spells on him and frequently praising you even after failures. His whole demeanor changes when he’s by himself, swinging the spear with a calculated, focused gaze that remains unperturbed until the end of his session. The second case is when you get hurt. Now, he does encourage you to fight, and your confidence in battle is what caused him to fall head over heels in love with you. He will immediately put a stop to it, however, if the opponent ends up harming you. Seeing your lips curl in pain is enough to set him off and send him into a full blown rage.
Suma is destructive in all the ways you can think of. Given his massive size, as much as he’d love to, having his way with you is not something that can happen spontaneously. Borrowing his powers can of course help your frail body to not immediately tear apart, but depending on how much self control he has (or lack of), you might end up needing urgent healing from Sakaki. Suma will be extremely apologetic for nearly fucking you to death, but you’d be lying if you said you didn’t enjoy it. A more common approach is riding his hand, as one or two fingers are enough to make you dizzy. He’ll be satisfied just hearing your needy whimpers. He also adores watching you whenever you give him handjobs as your little, delicate hands struggle to hold onto him. You’re insignificant compared to him and yet you persevere, feisty and horny. His precious, tiny warrior.
Yuugiri
Yuugiri is by nature a manipulative, masterful liar, so it comes as no surprise that you had a hard time trusting him in the beginning. His habit of teasing you certainly didn’t help, as you could never tell whether he’s serious about something or not. Perhaps the greatest irony is that even when he tries to be honest, it comes out crooked. Such is the fate of a deceiving demon, although most people are only familiar with fox spirits. On his end, he loves that you’re so transparent and obvious, even occasionally naive. And so it took a lot of awkward pleading to convince you to renew a binding contract with him, given everyone was suspecting him of ulterior motives.
For Yuugiri, being part of such contract is the most vulnerable offering he could've given you as proof of his love. As your souls become connected, you can perceive his feelings in ways otherwise impossible to achieve. He willingly allowed you to be able to read his heart, and thankfully it worked. It was his last, desperate resort to get you to understand his affections. Do you finally see the earnest adoration he harbors for you?
He is the best choice if you're looking for a best friend to gossip with. He enjoys listening to your stories and pays great attention to every detail. He's also frighteningly vengeful, especially when it involves you. So if you ever complain about someone to him, know that he will remember it forever and will make sure to continuously get back at the offender in the worst possible ways and will only stop when you tell him to.
Now listen, I’m about to be quite crass but it is what it is: as a serpent demon he has a long, forked tongue and let’s just say everyone in the household can tell if he’s eating you out because it will be loud. It will be followed by the walk of shame, when you eventually have to come out of the room red-faced and sore-legged, with Yuugiri donning a devilish grin for the rest of the day. You always swear to keep it in next time, but within moments you’re tightly gripping onto his horns, mumbling his name in a feverish, drunken haze. Naturally, he can read you like an open book and this truth stands for more intimate matters as well. Leave it to Yuugiri to know what his darling likes best.
Sekiya
Sekiya has been fascinated with you from the moment you stepped into the ancient Tomb. To see the anxious, quiet Kiritsubo happily wag his tail after you and the stern, irritable Murasaki readily at your service…It was a sight most unfamiliar to him and he wondered how a mere human like you managed to whip them into this kind of submission. He refused to believe you’d be stronger than Abe no Nakamaro himself, yet after the battle - from which you emerged victorious - it suddenly occurred to him that it wasn’t fear or obedience coming from the two yokai companions. Just honest, unadulterated love. He felt his chest tighten with envy, all the resentment of being sealed in with an evil, hateful sorcerer finally erupting its way to the surface.
So when you offered him and Sakaki to join you (“What else is left to do among these ruins?”), he couldn’t agree fast enough. To think he, too, could be spoiled with the affections of someone like you. On the other hand, Sekiya is an insecure, nervous wreck of an overthinker and he felt like he couldn’t offer anything worthy in return. He’s a demon that casts barriers. Nothing more, nothing less. He doesn’t have Murasaki’s genius, or Kiritsubo’s raw power, or Suma’s brute strength…What use could you possibly find in him? Hence the constant need for reassurance. He will need you to pull him out of his melancholy every now and then, just a small nudge from the savior he so worships.
It’s an extremely rare occurrence, but Sekiya can get cheeky if his ego is stroked properly. So, for example, he’ll take advantage of the fact you’re both alone in the modern world and show you the handy usage of his barriers: a crowded intersection overflowing with people, and yet no one can see him greedily thrusting into you right in the middle of everything. It’s the high of sprawling you out in public without actually being seen. It’s also one of the reasons you no longer take him furniture shopping. Last time you asked him to help you pick a new table from Ikea and were confused by his requirement of it being “high enough”. Before you could ask for further explanations, the immediate vicinity started twirling into a blur and his heavy arm bent you over the surface. “Let me demonstrate”, he purred in your ear. Sure, no one saw you dripping with his cum, nonetheless scanning the items with your clenched legs and deep crimson face was humiliating enough.
Sakaki
Despite his gift to heal and revive, Sakaki is a terribly miserable demon, often plagued by gloom and death. He is especially receptive to negative emotions, and given your souls are connected, he is the first to detect any change in your mood. (You had to learn to block out the persistent throb of jealousy that tugs at your heart whenever the yokai is particularly insecure.) He takes great pride in the fact that he can understand your sadness better than anyone. The second you feel down, he’ll be right behind you: “Worry not, we shall suffer together. Such is the fate of lovers.”
The first time he joined you back into the modern world, you’ve perhaps mistakenly introduced him to classic literature you assumed he’d like. He indeed became infatuated with authors like Poe, Baudelaire, Rimbaud, Shelley, Hoffmann. For the first time in his long life, Sakaki felt understood, and you’re glad to have played a role in his new interest. Yet you can’t help the shivers running down your spine whenever you become the target of his overflowing, renewed inspiration. Grim, ghastly paintings, deplorably obsessive poems…You’ve unleashed an authentic Romantic poet whose only muse is you.
He’s a master of eerie awkwardness, more so now that he has access to modern entertainment. You were excited when he asked you out on a picnic date, only to discover you’ve been taken to a foggy graveyard. He enthusiastically explained his choice: you can scout burial plots in case one of you dies (he’ll die with you, no worries), it is a stunning reminder that his love for you is eternal, and you might even find potential names if you ever want children. Another time, when you rented a boat during a sunny day at the lake, he cheerfully wondered how you’d look if you were to drown (still as beautiful as ever, he’s certain). Ah, but he does not dwell on dark things only. He recently took you to see the famous Cirque du Soleil and he was equally mesmerized by all the light and colors. It was Corteo: the story of a funeral cortège for a clown.
Sakaki does not like sharing and prefers to hang out with you alone, without the other demons. In fact, he’ll spend the day holed up in his room, writing or painting, or go out on lone walks if he knows you’re messing around with someone. He’d rather not hear anything that would cause him turmoil. The only exception is Sekiya, as they spent decades in isolation together within the sealed Tomb, and they both share a similar lack of confidence. In this case he won’t mind laying you on him and offering the above position to his friend, or casually joining your fun if he sees you together with Sekiya.

GOOD GIRL! Calling kitsune Yuuka pet names Calling kitsune Yuuka pet names Calling kitsune Yuuka pet names Calling kitsune Yuuka pet name-
A/N: Ok so it's my first time writing Youkai au, so excuse the shittyness, and I've seen a lot of them refer to the reader as "Master" so I did that.. Eh.. I wanted to try something new. I'm not proud of this at all.
GENDER NEUTRAL READER WARNINGS/TAGS: Yandere themes?, Youkai au, Use of pet names, Reader is referred to as master.
Tumblr media
She's waited so long to meet you, to see you... Your praise meant everything to her, trying best to maintain a sort of self control when she's around you.
The way your hands slide through her hair, gently tugging at the back, moving your hands to scratch her soft well kept ears, so fuzzy and comforting. She fights the urge to latch onto you, as she let's you continue with your careful movements.
Each word of praise from your mouth makes her question her sanity quite a bit, she couldn't help but flush up at the sugarcoated words that left your mouth. Frozen in place, as her head laid ever so perfectly on your lap.
"Good girl.." the words sends shivers down her spine, as she audibly gulps. A light gasp following after, your voice was so angelic, she locked the line within her memory, as it replayed in her head like a broken record.
You couldn't comprehend how she felt at this moment, her movements slow yet calculated. Her hold on you growing tighter, the idea of you acknowledging her is enough to set her alarms off.
She buries her head further into your lap, as a tail slowly wraps around your waist, she mumbles something underneath her breath, before asking ever so gently ".. c-could you please repeat that master?"

Hello! I hope you're having a nice day ^^
I was wondering if you could write a rise!Donnie x gn reader where the reader is kinda insecure of their intelligence? Since Donnie is a genius in a lot of things but reader isn't all that smart (can't even stand math, physics or chemistry) but they understand feelings more and like dancing and being in movement. I hope it makes sense lol, English isn't my mother tongue.
Remember to stay hydrated and safe!!
➴DONNIE WITH STREET SMART S/O➶
(Asks are open and appreciated)
Tumblr media
Papers upon papers were skewered around the office as (Y/N) chewed at the end of their pen, their brows scrunched up in agitation as they did so.
They hated deadlines. They hated that they had to sit down and finish this shit when it wasn’t even done to begin with. It was like everything else went out the window and they hated it. It was only standard math, it shouldn't be that bad- And yet they've been here in the lair for hours on end. They even had to skip out of hanging out and dancing with Mikey after the two planned for this to be their chill day.
This all would've been okay if they were alone, but there was other people in the lair which made them feel as if they were stupid whenever one passed by and saw that they did no progress on their work.
"I hate school...I should've dropped out and became a stripper-" (Y/N) whined in defeat, letting their face fall onto the table in front of them.
The sudden sound of shuffling alerted them to the presence of someone next to them. It didn't take long for (Y/N) to pick their head up, and instead find that it was Donnie sitting on the edge of their desk, a hand coming up to rest against his neck. "You're still going at this?? This can't be that hard." (Y/N) groaned and tried to shield their work with their hand to avoid any comments. "You're just saying that cause you're a genius. This is actually really hard, Don."
Donnie raised a brow at that as a smile crept on his face. "Though I am flattered that thou recognized thy genius-" Oh, he's talking in that Shakespeare tone. (Y/N) hated that Shakespeare tone. "-One of the questions is quite literally 2+2." He finished, earning a glare from his lover.
"Yeah well, I don't know what to do. My grade's dropping because of these stupid tests. The only way I'm ever getting into MIT is through these damn tests." (Y/N) huffed, pushing their chair back as they got up. "Please, either help or get out.." Donnie smirked, opening his mouth up again to let another slide comment slip out, though immediately closed it once he saw (Y/N)'s face.
"Wait....Are you actually upset?" He asked, looking surprised. He never saw the usually upbeat (Y/N) like this. They always seemed so social and easy going, it was odd to see them being so stressed about this type of thing. "Don, you know I'm not good at this stuff....A bit ironic a genius is dating a dumbass, huh?" (Y/N) tried to ease the mood with a joke, but when they looked back up at Donnie they saw that he was almost offended that they could call themselves that.
"Look, (Y/N). I know it's odd for me, the funny, gorgeous, absolutely handsome-"
"Get to the point, Don-Tron."
"Right...I know it's odd see me get serious but you're not stupid. You're smart in your own right. You actually know how to talk to people, how to always lift a mood, plus not to mention those dance skills- Besides the point. What I'm trying to say is that you are smart, you are just....As people would put it "Street smart"."
He reached his hands out to cup (Y/N)'s face and place a kiss on their forehead. It was a small gesture but a much appreciated one as (Y/N) knew how indifferent he was to physical contact.
"You're still bad at math though." (Y/N) flashed a toothy grin at Donnie, knowing that he is just saying that as a joke to cover up the fact that he was emotionally vulnerable for a moment.
"Does that mean you'll help me??"
"Fiiine!! What's the first question?"

Dear my Penpal,
Happy Irodori Festival!
This is the first time for me to write a letter to someone, so I'm quite intrigued to see who I'll get, haha. If you receive this, then that's great— it means that it's working and the postal office hadn't decided to leave my letter unsent.
Enough about that, I'm hoping you're having a great day so far. Please remember to take care of yourself, and to take breaks if you deem it necessary. Maybe in the future, you and I can meet up somewhere in Inazuma. I'm planning to head there for the festival, so I hope to see you during the festivities!
— Vermiculis Creatio
cw: body horror, yokais, yandere behavior, completely strange plot in general lol
a/n: iM SORRY HE'S MEAN I HAVE NO GRUDGE AGAINST YOU I THINK YOUR PEN NAME IS SUPER DOPE BUT HE IS JUST MEAN TTT___TTT
From this yandere genshin secret pen pal event
✥ YOU GOT A LETTER FROM YOUR SECRET PEN PAL!!!
Tumblr media
"Hana ni arashi," the wanderer muttered with his hand slightly reaching for the sky, awaiting the inevitable raindrops.
His foretold half-jokes about rain materialized as he prophesied in the letter. Many had fled to find protection from the joy-ending rain, but he remained motionless beneath Ritou's tanabata tree. Earlier today, he was discreetly observing the festival's vendors and books as he wandered around with lordly nonchalance, making remarks about humanity's consistently obnoxious literature despite his irminsul shenanigans.
"So the protagonist still wanders as an object-apparition in the end?" Wanderer muttered as he clapped the book shut. "How dull."
Seems like no matter how much he tampered with the white tree, the dead will never come back to life.
He had little to examine now that all the stalls were protected by larger stores and private residences. The fact that the branches and his hat had failed to keep the drifter from getting wet didn't bother him. Instead, he observed the droplets smear the paper wishes that were hung on the tree.
'This year, I'm going to be a doctor.'
'Let's all solve world hunger!!! - Kav.'
'Here's to hoping I retire this year haha!'
'I'm going to graduate and live with my husband in Inazuma City.'
'I want to be loved.'
'I WANT TO BE LOVED.'
The wanderer scoffed.
Such a simple yet difficult wish.
"Loved in what way? Loved in reverence? Loved out of fear? Loved as a friend? Loved like how a mother would do so with her child?" He snatched the wish off the tree and squinted his eyes.
"Loved as though you're someone's missing half?"
He scoffed and crumpled the soggy paper.
"Mortals. They can't be trusted to hold even an iota of freedom and independence. Always with the need to be shackled by shallow relations."
The wanderer may muse that out loud, but his entire being defied his proclamations.
What a hypocrite he is, spouting nonsense about relationships when he's here to rekindle something forgotten...
"H-Hey, you there! What on earth are you standing in the middle of the rain for? This is no time for sightseeing."
The wanderer flinched and his face lit up.
Wanderer was glad to hear that voice again.
He turned around, and he found you. You firmly held a red umbrella above your head as you stood beside him. Confused by his awfully timed contemplations, you gently grabbed his arm.
Huh... Why didn't he feel anything when you touched him?
"We need to get you under a roof, pronto," you implored. "That hat of yours isn't doing you any favors."
The wanderer made an effort not to look at the parasol. You didn't seem to be aware that the object you were holding contained some peculiar energy. He didn't say a word about how the eye in your red umbrella moved, hoping to amuse himself later once you worked it out.
He might use it to frighten you later. Irodori festivals feature a ton of yokai events, so it wouldn't harm to have you scream.
"Oh wow, really? I didn't notice," he snarled. "'Preciate your concern, but I don't care."
"Please?"
"Please, what?" He closed his eyes, restraining himself from making eye contact with your cursed parasol.
That yokai you're holding does feel special...
"Come with me?" You frowned. "The others are worried about you."
"Why do locals always love to prattle on such meaningless concerns."
"Haha," you sheepishly scratched your neck. "You know, you kind of remind me of my pen pal."
Finally.
"If I remind you of a pen pal of yours, then you must have the mind of a worm."
"Hey—"
You stopped.
"... Oh... OH!!!"
He smirked.
"So it was y—"
"Believe what you want, worm."
"Oh, come on. The meaning behind that pen name was pretty neat, and I was—"
"Not the brightest student in the Haravatat," the wanderer sighed. "At least you don't have an execrable lack of imagination, I'll acknowledge that much. If I handed that letter to Madam Faruzan, I imagine she would be distraught."
"You don't know that."
No, he does. But he also knows that Madam Faruzan praised the worm for their literacy on forgotten languages.
Vermiculus, meaning little larva or worm, and creatio, which doesn't take a genius to figure out it pertains to "creation."
"Do you even know who Madam Faruzan is?"
"Only whispers. As much as I want to write to her, I admit, I've never exchanged letters before you, so..."
So you don't know who she is after the revision?
Good.
One less person to get in his way.
"A-Anyways, we ought to take shelter from the rain! Come on, already."
With enough strength, you successfully sprint him out of the tanabata tree's shade. You were more focused on getting him out that the thought of checking for his pulse never occurred to you.
You used to be sharper than that.
"Does a little rain make you upset? And here I thought worms like the rain for their moisture."
"S-Seriously?" You heaved, breathless. "Y-You're making jokes? And h-how are you not out of breath?"
Wanderer stayed quiet after that remark, emulating human breathing.
You used to be acquainted with traveling, what happened to your stamina?
Wanderer's revision does not change the past entirely. It only erases this world's memory of him.
It does not make the dead come back to life.
"Stop."
"Hah?"
He seized the opportunity to check your pulse.
...
...
...
The wanderer tried not to look at y̶o̶u̶r̶ the parasol.
"(Y/n)."
"... Wait, how do you know my name?"
"I'm not talking to you," he gritted his teeth. "I'm talking to the kasa-obake."
He took the umbrella away from y̶o̶u̶r̶ the person's hand, his grip softening when he secured it.
"(Y/n)..."
The moving eye looked frightened.
------------------------------------------
"Have you heard about this story, Scara? In Inazuma, there was a woman who bought an umbrella from a shrine. One rainy day, she thought about using her umbrella, but then suddenly, she received a message informing her that her husband died in battle. She got sick and died in a few days to supposedly look for her lover in the afterlife. After that, people said the umbrella was cursed and the shrine maidens sealed it away."
"... Is that supposed to be an attempt at being scary?"
"Not really? I don't know. On nights like this, traveling with you can be deadly silent. I only wished to make it a bit more lively" you shrugged. "But you know, I think I get why I remembered that tale out of the blue."
"Sure, worm. Tell me about it when I'm not falling asleep."
"You don't need sleep, you're a puppet. Anyways, I think I shared that story 'cause I subconsciously realized I'm getting attached to you."
"What does that have to do with some umbrella yokai story?"
"I'm just saying that if you went through Dottore's plans and came out as a different person, I think I'd fall ill too."
"And die? And have your beloved worms claim your body?"
"Hmm, I suppose so, yes," you affirmed his disbelief casually. "Vermiculis Creatio. If I die, let them feast and claim my vessel as their own. My soul doesn't need my old body. Maybe you should make me a puppet like you, see what happens."
"Is that a promise?"
"If it'll make you less lonely and feel loved as a new Archon? Then yes,
it's a promise."
------------------------------------------
The wanderer grabbed the body's arm again.
"What are you doing? That hurt."
He dug his thumb deep within y̶o̶u̶r̶ the body's wrist.
Small insects.
Larva.
Worms.
The entire time, he was not speaking to (Y/n) (L/n).
He was speaking to their animated corpse.
Scaramouche grinned.
Perfect.
"W-Worms...?!"
"I'll be stealing this umbrella from you."
"Hold on- what?! Hold on, how did you tear through my skin like that, why are there worms inside my—"
"I'm not giving it back, so run away now."
"But—"
"This umbrella means a lot more to me than you. This umbrella has more life than you do."
He pushed them aside.
"So why don't you bury yourself and claim their rotting body like the good little worm that you are?"
Scaramouche caressed the cursed parasol. His eyes were wide, unhinged, but there was no breathing heard amidst the strong rain. As the corpse ran afraid, he tenderly hugged the umbrella and whispered as though it had ears to listen to his madness.
He laughed manically, softly kissing its closed eye.
His true missing half is finally here, encircled by his arms.
"Don't worry, my (Y/n). I'll make you a worthy vessel that will never be defiled by worldly filth."

Since today is Ayato's birthday, here's a Sea Dragon AyatoxYokai Reader AU!
After a fierce fight, a badly injured yokai (aka you) walks to the sea only to encounter a sea dragon and he heals you. The dragon tells you to come back, but as you walk into the forest, you never intend to return to the sea.
Every day you don't show up, the dragon weeps, causing the fish to vanish and the sea to ravage. The humans can no longer go out to sea. And why would they? There are no more fish to catch.
Despite the intention of never going back, the dragon haunts your dreams. But why? You're opposites in every way. You wield fire and he is a child of water. You are only efficient on land while his true strength can only be seen in the ocean depths. But despite this, he's so beautiful. Nothing like you have ever seen on land.
So when you're attacked again, you find yourself longing for the dragon by the sea. And there he is, waiting at the same spot he was before. The tears the dragon sheds turn to crystal as they fall. You've come back to him!
And when your attackers pursue you all the way to the beach, the dragon defends you, displaying the power he had hidden from you. You wonder how you can thank him for his kindness. You'll say yes to anything at this point. Except when he asks you to live with him at the bottom of the ocean.
"How will I breathe?" You ask. "I am a warrior. How can I fight? How can I defend myself if my flames are snuffed out?"
"I have nothing to offer you down there, sea dragon." Is your answer, but you do! You can offer him absolute certainty of your safety by staying down there with him. Where no creature can get you. He will make sure of that.
And the sea dragon realizes that you never had a choice to begin with. In order to calm the tides and for the fish to come back, you must be with him as his mate. How many more times must you almost die to see that?
"No more!" He says as he grabs you and drags you to the bottom of the ocean to be his mate for eternity.

Hachi aesthetic
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As a way to relieve stress he paints a lot
With notebooks pictures
And he's addicted to coffee
He doesn't know why but he likes it but he doesn't like black coffee because he doesn't see the point in drinking it
Because of his immortality he can never die
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In some ways he likes it but in other ways he doesn't since he has to see the people he loves that aren't Immortal die while he stays forever young
It's a dark thought for him to think about
As a way to piss off other gods that think gender roles are relevant
He wears dresses ruffled shirts and anything that looks feminine to piss them off
He likes pissing them off because he knows he's gotten to their head
He may not look it but he does like to pull pranks once in awhile
A odd fact is that he has a skinny and slender body and a small waist
It's not extremely small
And he doesn't think much about it
He's seen bye both gods and humans as a very handsome and straightforward person
Of course he finds it weird but he doesn't mind it as long as they don't ask inappropriate questions or try to make him vulnerable and he's constantly on alert and he never lets his guard down even when he's alone
Tumblr media Tumblr media
His emotional state is hard to pinpoint since he always keeps a blank and lifeless face
Of course he does have his own emotions
What he hides behind a cold face that is lifeless
Crying in the shower is basically his daily routine
He never lets anyone touch him because he doesn't want to be vulnerable although he forgets that when he's fighting in Ragnarok since he practically has to
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He was given some small accessories that he wears in his hair is soft and curly
He makes beautiful paintings that have lots of detail
If he isn't happy with something then he'll paint over it if he can
Whenever he's painting he usually wears white shirts that he won't regret getting stained
He is half Yokai and human of course he does have his own insecurities about his body and
the nightmares never went away the only way to
make them stop is when he turns on the lights which is his only comfort other than that he sleeps with the stuffed animal because of his touch starved tendencie
This is definitely his song

Hello! I would like to join in our event! This is my first time so I'm really sorry if I made you uncomfortable or if I didn't do this right
🌹with a Yandere Original Character? A surprise please! And the reader can be GN or female anything you want!
Thank you oh and please take care of yourself
Title: Locked in another realm
Character(s): Kitsune (Unnamed character/original work) Summary: You were in love, so in love, till you found out who he really was. Warnings/tags: Fem!reader, (monster) male yandere, general yandere themes, imprisonment
[ - A little present~! Event - Closed - ]
Tumblr media
Trapped in the yokai realm you looked at the sky. Water flowing down from clouds something you thought that you would never see in your life now as you watched the birds a little too big fly around it. Houses far away from here you watched floating out of thin air in small islands you wondered how free they certainly looked.
Standing up from the grass floor, cleaning up your yukata (a disgusting gift from him but it was far better than draping in gold) from the dirt. You stared at the vast field in front of you. So close you thought taking a step towards it away from the house you were trapped in. Raising your hands you tried to reach for the fields till your hand touched an invisible barrier.
You were trapped in his domain.
In his home in the spirit realm, he placed a barrier just for you. Proven and needed by the multiple times you tried to run away from his hold. "You shouldn't run away like that from your dear husband. What if others misunderstand? Though they never did care, busy with their own lives to care about a human being in this realm." You were too naughty, he told you waving his finger right in from of your face at your after your last attempt from running away.
"Oh dear, your lovely hands had been bruised from banging the wall. Really you shouldn't do that after all that wall was made for your safety. I don't understand why you are so determined to go out."
He knew why you wanted to get out. The sly look on his face as he placed your palm on his lips kissing it as you watched your injuries heal.
It was disgusting in your eyes, everything was.
How his long nails dug into your leg when he finally had enough of this when you tried to get away from having a meal with him. As you tried to leave the room only for him to grab your leg and tell you to sit. When it started to get a little boring, he started to grow ever more impatient. It was only so much time when his patience would run out.
The sounds of wind hitting the grass makes you relax a little. It was fake and an illusion made by him as you were taken away from the human world a long time ago. But it was better than staying in a room that looked just like the house you once lived in. What was once lovely now felt suffocating.
You wished you could turn back time. Time long ago before you meet him. Before you fell in love, if you could you will run. Run far away from him but now it seems that it is too late.
Back when you were innocent and naive, when you fell in love first with his beauty you didn't believe that a man like him would fall for you... would notice you. It was every girl's fantasy after all that a kind young man, rich and smart would look at them and they would both fall in love and make a family.
But you also thought somewhere in your heart that him ever loving you was too good to be true.
But he did.
"Hello." You looked up and your heart felt like it had leaped out from your chest the moment you recognized his face. Seeing your flustered reaction, the man can't help but smile.
Taking the time to get to know you and then court you. You were delighted at first but soon you fell in love, crush to love, so in love with his affections and care. So in love with his touch, and his words of adoration.
An innocent love it seems, something so shallow when you accepted his courtship. Your parents were also happy for you delighted of finding such a fine man who could care for you.
Soon you married and found a home with him. The heart in your eyes was still so obvious yet many say that it was your husband who loves you more. You thought you were lucky for it not knowing that in the future it would only become shackles.
There were a few things or habits that made you question him sometimes when you looked at his sometimes sharp nails, thicker than humans but also sharper. Or how he always knew where you were as if he could sniff you out from the crowd or how his eyes were always on you no matter what you were doing, he was always staring. Sometimes you thought his eyes were like that of a canine animal instead of a circular shape, his pupils would look more like slits of a fox with a golden shine. Or how you thought you would see a fox tail on his shadow even though he himself didn't have one. You were never sure because when you tried to look again they were normal again.
As if they were never there in the first place.
You thought that this would last forever. Maybe you would grow up with him old and wrinkled but still in love and that every single tribulation has been or will be overcome with him and by his side.
You shouldn't have woke up that day and just stayed in your bed than maybe you could have stayed in ignorant bliss. Late at night following your husband when he suddenly left to the forest, you should have just closed your eyes till the sun reaches the sky. When you saw his fingers longer and sharper than before.
Looking back to see so much fur, tails that look like a fox. Your heart dropped when you counted 9 all swaying slowly. The long ears on his head flinching made you frightened as you look at them, taking a step back you didn't see the twig that snapped right under your foot notifying him of your presence.
Your heart dropped when you saw his eyes staring at you, first surprised and feral which quickly changed into shock and understanding. His eyes that you used to love to look at now were gold and pupils slit like that of a fox.
You ran. You ran as fast as you could. You have to get away from here, away from him, away from everything. You ignored how your night clothes get caught up in small bushes, ignored the small puddles you splashed while running dirtying your clothes even more. Tears were in your eyes, was it caused by fear, or was it caused by a broken heart you weren't sure. You were still too confused. Confused about everything.
But all you knew is that you need to get out right now.
But you were nowhere near fast enough.
He caught up to you too soon, flying into the high trees he grabbed your waist and then your hands when you tried to hit him but failed to. You screamed but you were silenced, tears flowing even more from your face as you begged and begged him not to kill you. You kept your eyes shut scared of the pain and you chanted not to be killed but maybe it was better to die. The sly smile he had as he looked at you was both familiar and not, he was not the man you love. Not anymore.
The purring in his body as his tails warp around you to protect you from the cold. It didn't give any comfort at all.
"My dear, you know I would never kill." He told you as he wiped out your tears. No matter how much you moved, how much you struggled it was no use. He had you in his arms.
That night you had to say goodbye to the human realm as the monster took you away leaving nothing.
"Not when it took so long to finally have you."

Yandere! Yokai Harem x Reader (I)
This is probably my longest running dysfunctional daydream scenario, so I thought I'd share it here.
As stereotypical as it gets, you've fallen into an old well and found yourself in feudal Japan. Almost immediately, you're attacked by a yokai that calls you by a name you don't recognize. He insists you possess the soul of an ancient priest that would capture demons under a binding contract. Something isn't right, however, so your life is spared until further clues come to light. With two men unwillingly bound to you, you begin to uncover this mess as more 'collection pieces' show up. They might prefer you to their previous owner.
TW: violence, monsters
[Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3] [Character Guidebook]
Tumblr media
You vigorously cough out whatever grass you seemed to have bit into when you hit the ground. Was all this vegetation here just one moment ago? As you get up and dust your knees you're brought back into focus by the loud buzzing of insects. You look above and involuntarily squint your eyes. You didn't expect to see a full, bright sky.
"What the hell?" is all you can mutter.
You and your university friends had planned a quick trip to the neighboring Tokyo, just to visit some trending local cafes and shop around. You somehow wandered into the suburbs and found a very obvious path to a large shrine that was visible from the bottom of the stairs. Now, what's more stereotypical than finding a shrine, approaching it with shy steps, dangling the old rope of the bell and humbly clapping your hands together for a quick prayer that gives you a fake sense of meaningfulness? Then again, you love a good cliché. So you did just that, and then whipped out your phone to snap some artsy photos of the place. In your search for the perfect angle, you spotted a wooden structure among some pillars and zoomed in to realize it's an old well.
Here's where you awkwardly tiptoed away from your friends. You couldn't possibly confess to them that you're one of those anime nerds, and that you immediately thought of a certain classic title, and that this could make a very good impromptu cosplay shoot. You could smell the nostalgia as you carefully swayed your way behind the pillars and under the shade of the tiled roof. You bent over carefully (apparently not carefully enough) to asses how deep the well was. Just as you were about to exclaim its shallowness, you felt the gravity pull you inwards. Within seconds your head made contact with the moist soil and you briefly blacked out as the rest of your body arrived in proper position.
Unpleasant, but you've had migraines worse than this. Though now you're wondering whether you might've damaged some important brain parts, given the sudden change of scenery. Or has your dysfunctional daydreaming finally caught up to you?
You laugh silently and test the walls around you, feeling for some contact point that you can use to pull yourself back out. You finally crawl out, but freeze with your elbows around the frame of the well, looking ahead.
There's no building around, just tall grass and what seems to be the beginning of a forest. You remember to blink, and each time you close your eyes you hope to see the shrine once again, to no avail.
"I thought I'm past the risk age for schizophrenia", you mumble in a humorous attempt. The situation is so absurd that you need to share it with an imaginary audience.
You muster up the courage to step out and onto the ground, with extra caution as if it could vanish at any moment. After brief consideration, you slap a bunch of weeds in front of you to test their consistency. The hard stems hurt your wrist and you nod. This is a little too intense to be just a hallucination.
Alright, so you got trapped in some sort of feudal anime remake. What now? You glance around, almost hoping to see some white haired man sleeping against a tree with an arrow stuck into the chest. You check your phone. No signal, but thankfully it still works. You have a battery and its charger, but the latter is probably useless. Unless this remake comes with electricity. You chuckle at the thought. Who knows, maybe it's one of those isekai otome games instead and some timeline inconsistency or loophole will provide you with an outlet.
After trying the well one last time without success, you decide to at least find another human being. Then you can get some grasp of your whereabouts and situation. You notice a patch of grass that's been bent to the ground, probably from frequent stomping. That's a start. You follow the hints of bipedal movement and hope for the best.
The improvised path slithers downhill and around the mass of trees, and you question whether the fields ahead might have traces of houses on them. You pick up your pace in anticipation.
A sharp swish of an unknown object causes you to flinch and halt, and before you can process it, a thin blade lays inches from your nose. You follow its length and find the source: a tall, horned (???) man with silver hair.
Ironically enough, he seems to be more shocked than you. His facial expression flips from focused anger to unbelievable confusion within seconds. His eyebrows are raised and his lips part.
"Ah!" you yell as the gears begin to turn. "Christ, you almost made me question my sanity!
Now let me tell you, this is some great cosplay. I was about to beg for my life. Hah! How the hell did you pull the whole transition? Is the well a tunnel? I hope I didn't accidentally break into some event."
The man returns his sword into its sheath, still in deep disbelief.
"You're not him, are you? But then again..."
"Huh? Him? I'm sorry, were you expecting someone? If you show me the way out I'll disappear in a moment." you turn around, prepared to be led to the exit. "Who're you cosplaying, anyways? I'm a big fan of historical dramas, but I don't recognize the character design."
"I don't understand what you're saying." the man tilts his head in utter surprise.
"Alright, I get the point" you force a laugh, slightly irritated by the persistence. "You're deep in your acting, I get that. Focus and all the jazz. But my friends are around the corner and I don't have signal, can you please skip the theatre and show me the exit?"
"The exit to...where? You're outside."
You sigh, loudly, and click your tongue. "Enough of this, please. Where's the shrine?"
"Ah, I get it. You're trying to confuse me." he pulls his sword back out. "I've had enough of your tricks. You're in an early stage, aren't you? Not strong enough to fight back. I can sense it."
Oh God, it's one of those maniacs, you think to yourself. You raise your arms as a peace offering and hope you won't be featured in the 5pm news with multiple stab wounds.
"Listen man, I really don't know what you're talking about. I'll leave quietly and won't bother you again, I promise."
You gulp and await a response, but the man's mouth opens and the words are replaced by a foreign, disembodied shriek. There's a rapidly approaching heavy shuffle that sounds like the trample of many limbs. You feel your leg being hooked into something and the ground turns around at a dizzying speed.
Something just grabbed you.
Given the movements of the lips, you're assuming that the mysterious cosplaying maniac is yelling something, but your ears are ringing and throbbing as the adrenalin begins to pump. You're being thrown around by something and you can feel the skin holding your leg together creaking and tearing with every jolt.
You manage to land your eyes on the creature. The teeth are unnaturally sharp and it seems to have many arms and legs arranged in a scattered order along the scaly body. It trashes around in such a fluid, dynamic way, that you doubt it could be the result of any machine. It's a living thing and currently attacking you for whatever reason.
Once the bizarre reality settles in, panic floods your body and you scream for help. If not the maniac, then some godly intervention. You did offer a small donation at the shrine, it has to count for something.
The spectacle doesn't last long, since the silver haired man doesn't hesitate to behead the creature. You can see that he wasn't making empty threats with his sword skills. You'd prefer, however, if you weren't the next one to go under his guillotine. Your body rolls over the dirt, limp from the shock.
You tilt yourself upwards pathetically and let out a groan once you attempt to use your leg to stand. You turn around and notice the aftermath of your little air ballet. There's a deep wound and thick, red blood is oozing out, scrambling to form a protective crust.
"You... really can't fight at all, can you? You weren't lying."
The man is now standing in front of you, the same amount of disbelief he had at the beginning.
"How the hell would I have fought that...that..." you choke and can feel tears forming in your eyes. "I don't understand what's happening. I just want to go back home. I don't know what's happening." you start sobbing and angrily rub your eyes, hoping to trigger some sort of way to wake up. But your eyelids burn and you feel awake. This was never a dream.
Your sudden meltdown startles the man and he awkwardly hovers his hands over you, unsure of how to handle this.
"Sorry, if I had known, I would've stopped it earlier. I genuinely thought you're..." he sighs. "I'm really sorry. You got hurt because of me."
"Can you please tell me where I am? I feel like I'm going crazy. It's year 202X and I was out with my friends and fell into a well. I've never seen a creature like that in my life. I somehow ended up here and I can't go back. Where the hell is this?"
"I... I don't understand what's happening either. I came here because I sensed he's back. I didn't expect to see... well... you."
You scan his face. His frown is sincere. Which, truth be told, is even less helpful. You're back to square 0, it's getting dark and your ankle is trashed.
You just want to sleep.
You stare at the ceiling, hands locked together over your chest. The improvised hay mattress isn't exactly comfortable, but it's certainly better than nothing. You sheepishly glance at the horned man. He's sitting by the window, idly looking outside with hooded eyes. He seems to be tired, too.
"Try to get some rest", he'd told you earlier. Easier said than done. After the monster attack, he carried you on his back until you found an abandoned hut. His way of apologizing for letting you get mauled. As you walked, he narrated his reasoning to you.
His name is Kiritsubo. When he was a child, a human dressed like an onmyouji took him in for training. Said to be the successor of Abe no Seimei himself, the man was feared throughout the country for his supernatural powers. Most of his strength, however, came from the collection of yokai he'd gathered to work for him. None of them had agreed to it, but no one knew how to break the bond subduing them. Eventually, the old man succumbed into his eternal slumber, yet the yokai were still not freed from the contract.
Some of them suggested he wasn't truly gone. Merely reincarnated. And today, he felt it for the first time. That's how he stumbled upon you. You appear to have part of his soul within you, whether you realize it or not. But if you truly have no knowledge of it, he doesn't have the heart to slaughter an innocent.
"What about the rest?" you blurt out, quietly.
Kiritsubo turns to you, mildly startled.
"What do you mean?"
"You said the man owned 12 legendary yokai. Are you the only one left?"
"No." He frowns. "They most likely know about you already. Let's try to send you back to your world tomorrow, because they will not be as forgiving."
A shiver runs across your spine. This one is scary enough already. You pray you'll be home before you can meet any other beast.
"This is where I found you, so the well shouldn't be far."
The silver haired man surveys the horizon and you limp forward.
"I'll check the area, since you can't walk much."
As soon as he says that, he vanishes. You're left with the heavy buzz of afternoon cicadas. You might as well do your own search. Keep yourself preoccupied. The idea of leaving this behind fills you with excitement and you find enough strength to push ahead.
A few minutes later, you hear a shuffle behind you. Could it be that Kiritsubo already found the well? Enthusiasm fills your chest and a burning heat spreads out. Although it speedily pools in your left shoulder, and you notice in horror that it wasn't enthusiasm taking over your body. A blade is sticking out of your shoulder, avoiding anything vital as some sort of mockery rather than omission.
"Found you."
The voice is deep and foreign. You barely manage to tilt your head and meet the glowing red eyes of a black haired man. Dark horns are twisting menacingly from his crown and his expression is that of pure wrath. As fresh blood drips down your chin, you wonder if this is the next yokai in line to seek his revenge.
How will you get out of this?

Congrats the Halloween costume chosen was the Kitsune!
Warning! The (secondary trait) is your repressed trait that can shine due to the decisions you make correlating to it within the pocket dimension!
Should you indulge too much in your (secondary trait) you’ll lose yourself and gradually turn into an actual yokai and be stuck within the pocket dimension! Making it an immediate game over!
However if you’re too reliant on your primary trait you’ll cause suspicion amongst the yokai! And they’ll discover that you’re human! And depending on who finds out your little secret it could spell doom or perhaps a silver lining~
You must maintain the balance between your Primary and (secondary traits)! It’s crucial for your survival.

☪︎YANDERE DONNIE HEADCANONS☪︎
Rottmnt- 2018
(Asks opened and appreciated)
Tumblr media
Probably a bit more on the chill side then most yanderes. He definitely is slow to doing any drastic actions and more or less could have his actions be passed off as clingy or obsessive tendencies.
Quickest way that he would act out though is usually through jealousy. He loves being the centre of attention and if he isn't, he automatically thinks of himself as last place in everyone else's eyes- even if that isn't the case.
If he wasn't a show off before, he definitely is now- Mostly because he seeks the praise for his accomplishments that his brothers lack to give at times.
He can act a bit as a brat and sometimes throw a fit of sorts if you don't give him the attention he feels he deserves. (praise, attention, ect)
He is very clingy, though in a more mental sense than a physical sense. He can be a bit codependent at times, though he tries to fix that as seeing it as a flaw.
He'd practically talk shit to your others friends to their face, though masks it behind his usual just slightly irked attitude he has with most people.
He isn't quick to actually hurt anyone, more relying to threats or relying on his tech to intimidate them. Doesn't mean he isn't afraid to get violent though- The man fights people everyday so it anything new.
He feels sometimes as if he's owed that you close off your personality to others, causing him to have unrealistic expectations that immediately get crushed and cause him to whine and pout when he sees you joking with others how you joke with him.
This usually ends up in him either ignoring you until he isn't upset or him blowing up at you, causing for him to be forced to be open with his emotions.
He sometimes looks forwards to holding and/or cuddling you as it feels to him to be an intimate action only you two share, making him feel as if you truly are his.
He isn't a kidnapping type and much prefers having you stuck in mental dillemas to the point where you have to stay- Such as having you befriend his brothers as well as April so that way even if you grow tired of him you have some reason to stay.
He would make little bots to stalk/spy on you though they are more of security bots rather than anything intentionally malicious.
Though...He sometimes uses it to make sure you didn't replace him with a smarter scientist.
If you go to April's school, he is definitely trying to hack into the classroom cameras. What if the purple dragons try to use you?? Or worse?? In his eyes, you should be thanking him for this.
He may have a lot of negative traits when like this, though it doesn't change much of the core of him. He might be too obsessive or protective but he still loves you with all of his heart and tries his best to not let these emotions control him, even if they do tend to be some big parts of him when he's around you.

Dear Secret Penpal,
Happy Irodori Festival! My name is Lisa (disclaimer: not my real name). A pleasure to be exchanging correspondence with you. While I am better at writing my thoughts than speaking them outloud, unfortunately I'm not too well-versed in the art of keeping a conversation, so I hope you will forgive me for my clumsy attempts.
For starters, I hope you are doing well as you are reading this letter. Always remember to take a good care of your health!
I'm sure you don't wish to divulge too much personal information in these letters. However, would you mind talking about the things that interest you? I'll start first - recently I have been testing out a Fontaine technology which is aiming to assist people in writing articles and books. It's a most curious technology indeed, and I am having fun tinkering with it for the past few days.
I hope this letter reaches you safely and I eagerly await your response.
🌸 Lisa
cw: yandere themes, and alhaitham being an asshat in general-
From this yandere genshin secret pen pal event
✥ YOU GOT A LETTER FROM YOUR SECRET PEN PAL!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"See you soon, Malikata."
Those were the same words King Deshret last uttered before the sand dwindled in his very own hourglass. It was the words of a hopeless man— the delusions of a mourning king.
And yet, as if there are miracles born from misfortunes, it came true.
"Alhaitham" recalls little of who he once was eons ago. Since childhood, he had felt that he operates differently compared to his peers. All the rational man had was, ironically, a gut feeling. There is only one situation where he would rely on intuition and that would be whenever he needed to explain his geometric reasonings in two columns— but no one demanded proof that he was the reincarnation of The Red One.
Besides, what person would demand about something they have no prior knowledge of?
 "ALHAITHAM!!!"
Kaveh closed the door behind him with a loud slam. The mounted shelves shook while Alhaitham stood, unflinching. There's no visible reaction on his face,
"YOU HAVE THE MISSING DIVINE KNOWLEDGE CAPSULE, DON'T YOU?!?"
"Of course not," Alhaitham replied. "If I had a use for it, surely I would've used my authority to access it."
But the architect didn't believe a single word. They both acknowledge that the Acting Grand Scribe had an unexpected proficiency or talent for acting. Lying came easy to him, yet strangely enough, Kaveh sensed not a hint of deceit.
Which could only mean he's innocent or he had someone do his bidding and delivered the capsule to someone else.
"That Irodori Secret Exchange thing— what was it called—"
"Pen Pal or Yokais."
Alhaitham is once again reminded how fortunate he is that his dear "Lisa" is as clever and as articulate as they were lifetimes ago.
"Yes! THAT!!!" Kaveh grabbed a fistful of Alhaitham's grey cloak, looking at him dead in the eye.
"You definitely smuggled it to Inazuma to avoid suspicion! You got a taste of that power when you confronted Azar and intend to steal it didn't yo—"
"I've never used the divine knowledge capsule."
"... What? Didn't you try to kill Azar with it?"
"No," Alhaitham shook his head lazily. "It was just a minor part of our strategy to lower their guard down. I've no need for divine favors to win. I only need to think."
"That sort of arrogance does sound like something you would say..."
And his sheer indifference for the divine also marked one of many similarities he shared with King Deshret.
"You're mistaken. It's not arrogance but belief in one's competency. You should learn to think before you speak, Kaveh. I can arrest you for lèse-majesté."
"Gah— Okay then, fine!" Kaveh waved his hand up dismissively. "Maybe you didn't steal it after all."
He let go of his cloak.
"Still, aren't you worried about where it is?"
"No."
"You can't be serious," Kaveh gawked. "That thing is contaminated by The Withering. Aren't you concerned that someone would—"
"Just let it be," Alhaitham said. "You can't discount the chance someone might use it wisely for the benefit of the people."
"Argh!!!— you are so damn lazy, I can't believe you. Need I remind you that capsule was used to almost create a new archon?! Why on earth are you being so laissez-faire about this?! You're our Acting Grand Sage, you should be— hey! Get back here! Don't you dare lock yourself inside your room—"
Shut.
How exhausting. What a waste of his time.
Why would he possess the divine knowledge capsule, when it's Nabu Malika that needed to remember their past the most?
You'll use that divine knowledge capsule, won't you, his hayati?
It's easier to lie in letters after all.
It's only a matter of time until his Goddess is back in his arms again.
