Weren't You Aware, Angelfish?

Characters: Yandere!Azul x GN! Reader

Summary: You think it's a game, but it's much more than that…

Word Count: 3k

Author's Notes: A little background on this one; I actually really got into the Octavinelle Trio when the Little Mermaid event (which ran during third week of May in 2023) was going on following the live action film being released in theaters. At the time, I was also about midway through the "Merchant of the Depths" and was laughing at myself for the irony of participating in an event that matched the story I was reading. And I even received Azul’s SSR dorm card in the mirror summoning as well.

Either way, I had come across a few head cannons and short stories of if the characters were actually aware of themselves being in a game and thought I'd take my own spin on it with Azul (I know there's a lot of these ones for this character - but you have to admit, the guy's got style).

Warnings: Obsession/manipulative behaviors, some bullying elements, self-aware

"Oh, hey guys."

Azul blinked in surprise as a pair of (e/c) eyes peered out at him and the twins from under strands of (h/c).

It was the Ramshackle dorm prefect - and yet it wasn't.

Azul knew that he, among many others, were mere characters in a game called "Twisted Wonderland" - a battle simulation game that followed the stories of seven famous villains from a strange land called "Disney." The main character of the game was a character by the name of "Yuu," but each player had selected to choose a different name for their character depending upon their preferences and personalities - though Azul could never be certain if it was their real name or not.

This one just happened to go by the name (Y/C).

(Y/C) had appeared before them around a month ago, Azul had remembered a droning voice on speakers as the player before them shifted on a seat of metal, thier eyes looking towards the screen then away again before they closed the game. The other characters had been confused by it - usually a player would stay for a bit and work on the stories or do lessons when they first started. (Y/C), however, was shifty and nervous - they reminded Azul of a mouse that scuttled across the floors of the Ramshackle dorm, constantly stopping and looking around before continuing on its way.

However, as things progressed, Azul quickly learned that (Y/C) was indeed a diligent player.

He would hear them laugh at Ace and Deuce’s antics, mumble under their breath when they knew something was going to happen, and gap at each of the overblots as they happened. Azul quickly became interested in the player, moving to the front scenes as his turn to take the spotlight appeared. As they worked through his story, he found them to be… well, quite like him. They were crafty and cunning, all smiles and false confidence - a show they put on when they weren't alone. People fell for their charms like prey to an angular fish, their bright light luring them in until they snapped them up as per their job required. However, they struck good bargains with them - something that Azul had… never invested in.

Now, there was a special event that he and the tweels would be a part of - a special event for a revised film inspired by the life of the Great Sea Witch.

Azul looked on as (Y/C) shifted through the cards in thier possession, having selected Floyd first. They had received his dorm card about two weeks prior to the event, their excitement to raise its stats apparent in the forefront of thier mind. They filled the class, selecting Jade’s ceremonial robes card as well as Azul’s ceremonial robes card along with Cater and Rook's dorm uniform cards before heading into the class with Floyd with Azul watching on in curiosity.

"Something on your mind, Azul?" Jade asked him from his doorway, "You seemed to be watching our magicless prefect a bit more than normal."

Azul regarded his vicewarden with an arched brow, "Jade, I have no idea what you are talking about."

Jade smiled, his teeth peering out from behind his lips, “Azul, forgive me, but if I didn’t know any better… I’d say you were jealous.”

“Jealous?” Azul scoffed with a wave of his hand, “Who said anything of the sort?”

Jade crossed an arm around his middle as his other arm rested on top, his forefinger and thumb stroking his chin in thought, “Not that it makes any difference, but I’ve noticed you’ve been keeping quite a close eye on our player - quite the character, are they not?”

Azul shrugged, “I suppose so…”

“I bet you haven’t given a thought to knowing them outside of the game, though.”

Azul turned at the comment, his sea green eyes glowing with mischief as a tell-tale smile formed across his lips, “My dear Jade, have you and Floyd been up to something?”

Jade smiled in agreement, “Of course we have… would you like to hear?”

“I would indeed. Tell me what you know.”

Jade uncrossed his arms and folded his hands into his pockets, “Our player has only been playing for about a month, as you know well - and has obviously cleared three books of our game within that time frame. They like a good gamble here and there, but they understand when there’s a time for fun and a time for work - something you should learn in my opinion.”

“Yes, yes,” Azul waved his hand, “Whom is their current favorite?”

“It varies from day to day - though (Y/C)’s profile indicates that it is currently Malleus Draconia,” Jade answered, “However, based on their world… they do have a fascination for sea creatures.”

Azul frowned, “Their world?”

Jade nodded, “Every so often we’re given a glimpse of the player’s real world - their reality. (Y/C) currently lives with an ailing father and a mother that is trying to hold everything together. They’re a full time student in what they call ‘high school’ and works at a family restaurant part time as a waitress. They like spending time on social media, reading when not with us, and does a bit of sewing from my understanding.”

Azul rubbed his chin in thought, “Do they… play other games?”

“Several - (Y/C) has a very high social media presence and has been gaining followers over the course of several years, speciallizing in strategic battle games and, apparently, even romance games,” Jade answered, “However… (Y/C)’s very shy and keeps to themselves quite a bit. From my understanding, they’re not exactly… well-liked by the other students at the school they attend. (Y/C) often eats alone and prefers the company of fictional characters or those online to those in their world.”

“Not well-liked? (Y/C)’s well-liked here!” Azul answered in confusion.

“Perhaps, but we all eventually become attached to our player - they’re the star of their own story here, after all,” Jade agreed, “And (Y/C)’s practically the same in their world - kind, supporting, caring… but is an outcast.”

“Care to explain why?”

Jade shakes his head, “I wish I could tell you, Azul - but even I am not certain why that is.”

Azul squeezed his lips in thought before turning to Jade, “Is there a way we can dig into more about our player?”

“There might be something within the profile, but a chance at looking into the outside world? That is a one in a million chance of happening. I was given a glance when (Y/C) was using me for a battle - but it was very short. The rest of the information I gathered was from other characters - specifically Cater who has been with them the longest. You know how he will speak for a chance at gaining more followers.”

Azul chuckled with a smile, “Excellent work, Jade. For the time being, I’d like to find out as much as you can about our player - Floyd, if he’s in the mood, will probably want to know more about ‘shrimpy’ as well, get him in on the search too. Though, I suppose we can only do what we can for right now…”

In the days that followed, (Y/C) was consistently in the Octorio’s presence. As they met each requirement the Octavinelle Training Camp event gave them, (Y/C) beat every battle they were given and took in the rewards with vigor; their method was simple - they finished all of Floyd’s tasks before closing the game, reopening it the following day with fresh eyes and ready for the challenges that awaited them and selected Jade as their next partner. Azul watched from the sidelines as each task was completed and battle won; it was strange to hear how (Y/C) would always keep the trio together, Azul stuck in between the tweels as they switched spots. However - Azul couldn’t be completely disappointed in them; after all, (Y/C) did invite him to attend each lesson with them and the tweels.

So why was it so hard for him to not feel this… jealous anger that was slowly rising with him? It wasn't like they were anything interesting - the only thing they had in common, maybe, was the fact that (Y/C) was business-minded - even for a high schooler.

Azul pinched the bridge of his nose as cards of various characters floated across the screen; Floyd... Vil... Epel... Malleus... Trey... All of them appeared across the screen over and over like turbulant waves on the shorelines - yet none of them were of him. (Y/C) flipped through the cards again, their (e/c) eyes hard with determination.

"One last roll," Azul heard them say, "I have enough for a chance encounter - please let it be one I don't have."

The music played as the dark mirror appeared again, "Bearer of dark powers, I call thee forth!"

Azul could practically feel (Y/C) vibrating with anticipation as clacks echoed in the small area that was their bedroom. Jade... Floyd... Vil... Sebek... Idia... Malleus... Lilia... Rook...

"You're so lucky to have met a compassionate person like me..."

Azul's voice stuck in his throat as (Y/C) squealed in delight, "AZUL! Oh my GOD! I have your CARD!"

And indeed they had gotten it - Azul's SSR dorm card flashed across the screen with the octomer perched in a leather chair, Jade and Floyd just behind him with the sea witch's familiar mirror in the background. Azul was vibrating with excitement - at long last, he was now in the spotlight, appearing before (Y/C) in his finely dressed dorm uniform. The octomer was beside himself with excitement as (Y/C) clicked back on the homescreen, scrolling through their cards and smiling as they found the newest addition.

"Azul..." they whispered so softly, "I'm so excited... I wasn't expecting this... not in the slightest. I hope that I don't disappoint - I'll get this leveled up and we'll work together, you and me."

'You could never disappoint me, angelfish,' Azul wanted to say as he felt something pull him to the front of the screen. He now stood in Ramshackle Dorm, front and center as the eyes of (Y/C) looked upon him, thier features brightening.

"Thank you so much, Azul," they grinned, a look of sheer awe and excitement taking root across their face, "I'm so glad to add you to the team."

The event ended far too quickly for Azul's liking, meaning that he could no longer work with his player one-on-one - at least until the next training camp. For now, Azul was content to use his days watching his player as he peered into their normal everyday life.

Jade had not been lying when he told Azul about (Y/C)’s busy schedule - they awoke every morning at six on the nose, dressed and readied themselves for school - helping their mom with a few simple chores before heading out the door. (Y/C) was an intriguing student, using common sense to answer their professors’ questions and asking more in return - though Azul could hear snickering in the background and soft insults that were directed at his player. (Y/C) sat alone at lunch, the game open in front of them as they nibbled on a sandwich - keeping thier promise to level up Azul's card as they doodled in the notebook beside them. A few times, they would have a set of headphones in and would hum along with the music that would come through the speakers - making Azul strain to hear them. After school, (Y/C) would head over to one of the local restaraunts, changing into their work uniform and began the grunging job of serving guests. Azul listened as the clientel would call them over - some pleasant, others not so much; though he was surprised by (Y/C) ways of handling them, giving their best award-winning smile and working their way into their hearts to the point that they couldn't take it or dropped the subject entirely.

Day in and day out, Azul was there and listened to everything everyone told them; week after week, he saw the light slowly begin to fade from their eyes...

And by the time summer had come, (Y/C) was struggling - mentally and emotionally. Gone was the happy-go-lucky teen that Azul had slowly become attatched to, in their place was a saddened and heavy-burdened individual that sought the comfort of loniness - fictional characters were their only friends now.

One night, (Y/C) perched on their bed after a particularly rough day at work. Azul had seen one of the customers - another student that was prone to bullying (Y/C) in class - trip them while they were carrying a pot of hot soup to bring to the salad bar; regardless if it was intentional or unintentional, (Y/C) could have been seriously injured - burned from how hot the liquid was. Then, (Y/C)’s boss degraded them - telling them that if they weren't so stupid and watched where they were going, none of this would've happened; even though it was clearly not (Y/C)’s fault. When they got home, (Y/C)’s mother had to rush their father off to the hospital - something about his ailment suddenly turning for the worse and making (Y/C) now worried sick about their father's health - no longer caring about the injury they sustained and the pain they felt within.

(Y/C) tapped the screen of the game, opening up and laying their phone against a box that sat on the bedside table, watching as Azul greeted them in his normal fashion.

"Helping people is what I live for. As housewarden, I will do everything to support my students," Azul smiled in greeting.

"I wish the same could be said for me," (Y/C) sighed, laying their head against the pillow as the music of the Mostro Lounge filled the background of the bedroom.

"Hm? And why do you think I wouldn't support you, angelfish?"

(Y/C) turned to look at their phone as Azul smiled. They rubbed thier face for a moment before muttering, "I must be more tired than I thought. I thought you just said something."

"I did, angelfish," Azul's voice came loud and clear as (Y/C)s' eyes widened, "I said, 'Why do you think I wouldn't support you?'"

(Y/C) blinked, "Y-you... talked. You can talk?"

"Of course I can talk," Azul answered, resting his hands on his hips in disappointment, "What makes you think that I wouldn't? We've talked before, after all."

"Y-yes... but that was scripted," (Y/C) rubbed their face again, "I must be dreaming - just some fantastical thing because of the stress and anger I've been experiencing lately."

"(Y/N), come now, you know that's not true."

"H-how do... you know my name?"

"I've been keeping an eye on you for some time, (Y/N)," Azul answered, "I know all about you - what you like and dislike, what your biggest fears and regrets are and what you wish for most in the world. I can offer that, you know."

"Offer what?" (Y/N) rubbed their face then, "Wait a minute... why am I even discussing this with you? You're a character in a game and I live in the real world - there's no way this is happening either - this is just the rambling of a stressed out lonely teenager who gets enjoyment out of playing a game and reading fanfictions."

"I assure you, this is no dream," Azul answered, "And you're not going to get rid of me that easily either."

(Y/N) frowned, "What do you mean? What did you do?"

"Simply enough - I hacked this phone," Azul admitted, "It took a bit to figure out the workings of it, but now you won't be able to do anything unless I give you my permission to do so."

"You... what?!" (Y/N) glared at Azul, "This is my only form of communication! My only way to be someone! I use this for school! Work! Why would you do that?"

"I admire your ability and drive, angelfish, I really do," Azul smiled wickedly, "However - 'real life,' as you call it, is keeping you from me. You were hurt today and have been stepped on over and over like a piece of gum on your school's cemented sidewalks. What I am willing to offer you, in exchange for your undivided attention that is, will allow you complete freedom from the outside world. You will never have to experience that sort of degration and torement again."

"And what about my friends? My family?" (Y/N) askes, "You think I'll sign my name on a contract of yours so willingly?"

"You did the first time around."

"That was scripted!"

"Angelfish," Azul's tone turned dark, "You really have no say in this. I know your family is struggling so I'll modify the contract, only for your sake though. As for your 'friends,' you really have none in that world - I have been with you for the past two months, constantly watching you and, yes, protecting you. You might not see it now, but you will in due time - besides we're the same age, are we not?"

"Close... maybe," (Y/N) admits.

"Then, what's the problem?" Azul folded his arms across his chest, "Sign the contract - and I will give you everything your heart desires."

The screen shifted as a familiar golden hue appeared on the screen.

"Here's the deal, Angelfish," Azul's voice appeared in the background, "In exchange for your undivided attention, I will grant you - and your family - the funds needed to help you both financially and comfort. You and family will want for nothing and I will provide support you your ailing father. You will belong to me completely, and when such a time arrives that the two of us are old enough, we will be married."

(Y/N) looked over the contract on the screen, biting her lip.

"And you promise I will be able to stay with my family? Still see them when I want to?"

"Yes - it would be improper for the two of us to live together as I will need time to prepare for that event. However, you will not be able to tell anyone about this arrangement - unless you wish to lose your voice in the process."

"N-no thank you."

(Y/N) could practically see Azul's grinning features, "Then, Angelfish mine... sign on the dotted line. Let's embark on this new adventure... together, just you and me."

The Sharks And The Minnow (Yanderes!Jade Leech and Floyd Leech x MC!Reader)

(TW: Stalking, mentions of blood, obsessive behavior, mention of drugging, forced kiss)

...You could no longer process how long you had been running for. Ace, Deuce, and Grim had all quite promptly been knocked out by your two pursuers....your two admirers. Ever since you had arrived that fateful day, they had been watching you- of course, they keep tabs on every little new fish that enters the walls of Night Raven College. However, you were....different in every way. Originally, it was merely another task to complete for their benevolent dorm leader, Azul- keep an eye on you and see whatever could arise that would prompt you into a deal.

It did not take long for this to twist into something new....something completely different altogether.

Your every habit, your manner of speaking, even the means in which you cared for yourself and/or others was all taken into account. Every moment, one was there, and the other was not far behind. Those eerie, seemingly bioluminescent eyes and forms always watching- always following. One would grin, the other would smirk. Two sharks, forever following their new favorite little minnow in the sea.

As you hide behind a profoundly sized tree, nearly upon the steps to Ramshackle- you heard it. Well, them. Their voices. Calling to you. Always behind, yet seemingly a few steps ahead of you in your thought patterns.

"Heeerrreeeee, fishy fishy fishy, ehehehehe~! C'mooooonnnn, shrimpppyyyy~! We won't bite you too hard, okay? I just wanna squeeze you real tight and never let go!"

Floyd, as usual, was the first to speak, his wild mannerisms and obsessive behavior always rolling off of his tongue in waves. You could practically hear his sick, manically twisted grin as he spoke.

"Ahehehe~ come along now, (Y/N), I am most certain we are all aware of the fact that....you cannot run from us for much longer, yes?"

Jade was next. The calm, collected composure in which he always carried himself and spoke in was as worrying as his sporadic twin. You too, could hear the smirk in his voice- confident, slightly cocky in an imposing yet subtle manner.

Your head turned away from their voices, not wishing to think too drastically about how close they currently were to you- all you had to do was get to that front door, get in, slam it shut, and get the ghosts of Ramshackle to make sure all the windows were locked, and call Crowley- Crowley? What would he even do, in the situation-

You heard a twig snap directly beside you.

"Oh? What have we here? Did our little minnow get too caught up in their own thoughts to properly plan~?"

You barely registered Jade's voice before you took off in a sudden bolt, desperately trying to reach your door and get to safety-

"Yaaaaayyyy~! Eehehehehe~! I wiiinnnnn the tag game!"

Floyd was far too quick- he had already linked his arms around your waist and hauled you off of your feet, carrying you back to his twin as though you were a mere parcel. He sighed, lovingly nuzzling your neck and inhaling your scent- that is, until he grew bored of this- and sunk his sharp teeth into the flesh of your shoulder. A cry of utter pain slipped free from your lips as you were bucking wildly, desperately craving your freedom. The blood from your wound stained his teeth, which you soon saw reflected in the light of the grand moon above your heads in his smile- the sole witness to your plight.

"That you did, Floyd, as usual. Good job. Now, as for you- we cannot have you making too many more sounds, can we~?"

Jade was quick to step up, caressing your chin with a gloved hand for but a moment before it was fiercely grabbed. You noticed something was covering his lips- some sort of liquid? Your eyes widened as you struggled to escape the grip that Floyd had you in currently, Jade bringing his face dangerously close to yours. You could see the slight madness in his eyes, a predator satisfied with the catching of his ideal prey with his twin. Some fingers were trailed under your lips, and the next thing you knew, Jade's lips were upon yours. You muffled out a cry, and Floyd giggled at the sounds, his own lips finding your neck.

The second Jade pulled back, you found yourself slowly entering a dazed state. You were slipping free from consciousness, your sight beginning to dull you- whatever Jade had used, it was incredibly strong. You barely could register Floyd hauling you over his shoulder in victory as they laughed in unison at their catch, now walking back to the deepest recedes of their dorm with their beloved minnow......

Yandere Azul Ashengrotto x Little Brother Reader headcanons/short story (?)

Here is the third one of these for everyone's favorite octopus! This is probably the first one where you'll actually be a child! Congrats!

Trigger warning: It's yandere. It is its own warning.

Azul Ashengrotto

You and Azul are step brothers.

He was ten years old to your three years old when you and your father came along to the family.

He didn't really appreciate you being around. You were a babbling, drooling mess. But the feeling that he felt most about you was jealousy. Jealousy over your tail fin and the fact you weren't as chubby as he was at three years old.

Your father bonded pretty well with Azul over the fact that they were both quite interested in business but every time that you tried to play with Azul, he would just swim away and ignore you.

"Azul! Do you want to play with me?"

I swam up to Azul while we were swimming back home. I've always looked up to Azul and tried to be the best little brother that I could for him. But he never seemed to want to be near me.

"No."

"Oh. W-well, how about later we go visit the museum? I know that you enjoy seeing what they have there."

"No."

"Oh, well, what if we-"

"Listen, (Y/N). I'm too busy to hang out with you. Just go and bother someone else."

Azul's tone was colder than the water that surrounded us and harsher than the tide that brought down mighty ships. I stopped swimming while trying to get my tears under control. I've always wanted an older brother and I finally got one but he wants nothing to do with me.

You stayed out of the house longer. Plenty of your friends from school saw you swimming around and tried to get you to play with them but you refused. You wanted to try and become better for Azul.

Eventually, it got really dark outside and you decided that it would be best to go back home. Ever since you started living as a family, your dad and stepmom paid more attention to Azul and with good reason. Azul was better than you in every single way.

You swam through the front door to see your family playing board games in the living room before swimming into your own room. You had homework to get done anyway.

This repeated for many years. You would create amazing connections with the people at school before spending the rest of the daylight outside, reflecting on yourself and then coming back home late at night to do your homework.

School life wasn't hard at all for you. Many people at school were jealous of you. You knew everything about everyone, everyone looked up to you because of your charisma, your looks and the fact that your grades were perfect. Where everyone saw perfection, you only saw the useless brother that wasn't good enough for your family.

During your reflection time, you were able to hone the magic that you hid away from everyone. Your unique magic was the only thing that you weren't disappointed about.

"Cthulhu's Call" was a summoning spell. You could summon one of the world's most feared eldritch creatures at will and have it listen to your every call. You only used it once and that was risky in and of itself. Cthulhu wasn't small.

The rest of your magic was useful to protect your brother from his more sneaky bullies. The ones that the tweels didn't sense. The ability to control water and its tides was quite fun in swirling around the idiot mermaids.

"I'm home."

You said, knowing that nobody was actually wondering where you were or when you came back. Your father was animatedly talking about his work with Azul at the dining table while your stepmother was still out at her job.

Hearing your stomach growl, you decided that you could make some food for yourself before you got to work on your homework. You quickly found the ingredients for your favorite meal and got to work at cooking. You were so distracted with your food that you didn't hear Azul getting close to you.

"(Y/N)."

"Huh? Oh! Hiya, Azul!"

I quickly put up my friendly side. Nobody needed to know what accidently happened while I was out today.

"Where did you get that scrape on your arm?"

Crud. Azul noticed. How?! It wasn't like I was showing it off to the world. Just come up with a lie and you'll be good.

"Oh that! Well, I wasn't being careful at gym class today and some equipment accidently cut me. It was pretty bad but thankfully, plenty of students were willing to help me to the nurses' office."

That was such a lie. I got it when I was exploring a sunken ship that was about... 20 nautical miles away from the house. I wasn't actually allowed to go that far alone but I heard that the treasure hidden in it was worth more than anything. And oh boy, were they not lying! Gems, gold and plenty of other things were there! I didn't take anything but pictures.

Why was Floyd Leech following me? I would have known if I crossed a tweel at some point in time. Floyd isn't quiet about that type of stuff.

"He talked about watching a mermaid that looked like you swim to a sunken ship that was about twenty nautical miles away from our house. But I know for a fact that that couldn't have been you right?"

I did not enjoy the look in Azul's eyes. He was trying to get me to crack like an egg. I've cracked before to try and get Azul to like me better but I've always gotten told on instead. That was the only time that I was given any attention from Mom or Dad. When I was being scolded.

"Nah! Of course not! Also I wouldn't always believe what Floyd talks about. He likes to drag reactions out of you."

"Hmm, you have a point. Okay, I just wanted to check."

Azul then left the kitchen but the look in his eyes told me that he wasn't going to drop what we were talking about. I guess that I have to stop my treasure hunts until Azul's suspicion clears up.

Thus brought an end to your treasure hunts.

Ever since Azul had brought up Floyd following you, you've noticed at least one of the Leech twins in the background watching you carefully. You figured that Azul must have them playing watchdog.

This continued on until you were nine. Azul and the tweels had to go to NRC and you couldn't have felt more relieved. The admiration that you once held for Azul had turned into paranoia and distrust since you heard about his unique magic and what he uses it for.

Your treasure hunts were back on and your magic was only growing stronger by the day. Also with the fun fact that you were quite interested in architecture and made sea castles that sea creatures could actually swim and live in.

You hadn't seen Azul for months until your parents decided that you were going to visit Azul up at NRC.

"But Moooooom, I still have school to go to."

"Nonsense, (Y/N). You won't be gone for long and besides, don't you want to see your older brother?"

I bit my lip, not wanting the truth to flow out. I still didn't trust Azul and I wasn't looking forward to seeing him once again. Stepmom grabbed my hands before swimming towards Father. He had three potions in hand, which were supposed to turn us into humans. This didn't sound like a blast at all.

Being on land was a nightmare. My parents apparently had become humans before in their life times so they knew how to use their legs but I had no idea on how to use these things. It was quite painful to walk and be held up by my arms. I've never wanted my tail back more than then. Eventually, we made it to NRC with me wobbling with every step.

"Mom! Dad!"

I turned my head to see Azul walking towards us and giving our parents a huge hug. He then turned his head towards me and gave me a huge smile. A shiver ran down my spine at that sight. Azul was never happy to see me.

"(Y/N)! How's my biggest fan doing?"

Azul then walked over to me and picked me up into a hug. I just blinked at him before putting a huge smile on my face. I had to hide my surprise because despite my actual feelings for Azul, I still presented the little brother who idolized his bigger brother.

"I'm doing fine! It's weird that you're no longer at home though."

I thought that after I responded, Azul would put me down and ignore me like what would normally happen at home. But he didn't. Instead Azul only brought me closer to his chest and held me like I was a tiny baby. I tried to struggle out of his grasp but it only tightened, preventing all and any movement from me.

I sent a look to our parents but they seemed to not notice the death grip that Azul had on me. I guess that they weren't even really expecting I would ever be given any attention from Azul.

I sat in Azul's arms for about twenty or so minutes. The conversation seemed to get longer and longer and more and more boring. This was the time that I wished I had my tail to swim to the deep depths where I was no longer a part of any of this.

"So, I was thinking that (Y/N) could actually stay with me at NRC."

What. I quickly looked at Azul as if he was crazy but he wasn't even looking at me. That's one way from nearly going to sleep to wide awake.

"One of my classmates has his little brother with him. I already talked with the headmage and he agreed full heartedly!"

"Oh my! What a kind offer! It'll be weird having an empty nest though."

It wouldn't be that different considering you never chose to acknowledge me in the first place.

"Nonsense! This will be good for (Y/N) as well! Getting a higher education than everyone else his age!"

Gosh dang it, Azul. Why did you have to listen to Dad when he talked about his job?

So, now you are an honorary student of NRC.

You were attached to Azul at the hip. Sometimes quite literally. Your brother wouldn't let you walk a good amount of the time and even got a child carrier for you.

Floyd and Jade loved to tease you about the fact that you were no longer as independent as you used to be.

"Azul?"

"Yes, (Y/N)?"

No matter how many times I talk with Azul now, I don't think that I'll ever get used to the fact that he sounds loving towards me. I'm so used to the apathy.

"I'm grateful for everything that you've done for me but why exactly did you convince your headmage to let me stay?"

"Well, when I first got here, I thought that I was blessed. New experiences and the perfect place to start my own business and no little annoying brother trying to get my attention at every moment of the day. But after about... five months, I realized that I was missing my biggest supporter. You were always there and looked up to me. So, I decided that it would be better if I kept you closer to me."

"I..."

I was shocked. Azul... actually wanted to hang out with me? After being closed off for six years?! This has to be some sort of ploy.

"Ehhhhh~! It's Rainbow-Chan~! How's it being Mr. Popular?"

I felt Floyd wrap his arms around my torso and lightly picked me up for a spin. Rainbow-Chan is his nickname for me because and I quote "Everyone likes Rainbow Trouts!"

"Well, if it isn't Azul's younger brother? It's a pleasure to see you again."

Jade's smile sent shivers down my spine. Despite me being thankful for them becoming Azul's friends, I've never really wanted to be close with them. They're very scary.

"L-l-likewise."

I'm going to keep my manners with them. I'd rather not risk the bodily harm that could come if I don't.

"Ehhhh~ Rainbow-Chan, how many treasure hunts did you do when we all left the ocean~? I know that you have."

Floyd's sing-songy tone dropped and his arms tightened dangerously around my torso by the end of his sentence. My guess is that when I first said that Floyd was lying, he took it as an insult.

"I-I-I..."

"Well~?"

"I found two sunken ships down at the bottom of a ravine filled to the brim with gold and other human objects."

"See, Azul~! I told you that Rainbow-Chan explored too far away from his home~ You should do something about it~"

"And I shall."

After the truth of your little excursions, Azul started to... train you for lack of better words.

If you went too far from him, Azul would make you stay with Floyd for the entire next day. Trying to keep up with eccentric Floyd and his dangerous mood swings was enough to have you crawling back to Azul's bed for some well deserved cuddles.

If Azul felt that you weren't giving him the praises that he expected from you, Azul would throw a tantrum and start threatening to tell Mom and Dad lies about you. The last thing that you needed were messages coming from home about how you should have been more well behaved for Azul. You've just learned that you should give him compliments for everything or if he did do something wrong, give helpful criticism.

You also became sort of a logo for the Mostro Lounge. More customers would come just to see you, sitting at the entrance to greet those who came to dine.

Everyone appreciated the natural charisma that radiated off of you. Except that it would trigger Azul's jealousy very easily some days. Other days, he could ignore it because of the money that people would give you. Today was not one of those days.

"Azul! Please!"

I was begging my brother. He was feeling quite jealous over the fact that many people were fawning over me. I hated when he was in these moods because I would get stuck with the worst person.

"You cannot talk me out of this, (Y/N). You should have known better than to be that friendly with the customers. Jade will help you remember from now on."

Jade was the cruelest person that you know. He would treat everything like it was a science experiment and had little regard to your health.

He would force you to try out different mushrooms that he didn't know the reaction that someone would have to. There have been many days that you just wanted to rip out your guts or just become sea foam.

The pain that would be forced upon you was the reminder that you needed. That Azul was the only bit of kindness in your life.

"Awww, is someone in pain? Does someone need their big brother's healing hugs?"

After the nightmare that was hanging out with Jade, I could barely walk. The pain in my stomach was almost paralyzing but I fought through it to reach Azul who was sitting on his bed with arms wide open.

I crawled onto his lap and relaxed my upper body against his. I felt his arms wrap around my waist. Azul whispered something and I felt magic start coursing through my body, washing away the pain. I let out a sigh and closed my eyes.

"There we go. All nice and relaxed. See, I wish that I could always be this nice with you but you keep breaking my heart. Do you know how painful that is, (Y/N)?"

I only shook my head. He has asked me that question before and I nodded my head. I refuse to remember what happened the next day.

"Of course you don't. Thus I try to help you understand but I can only show you a fraction of my pain. But you do understand that I'm doing all of this for you, right?"

I nodded my head, too tired to try and fight Azul.

"I knew you would understand. I love you, (Y/N)."

"I love you too, Big Brother."

I felt a kiss be pressed to my cheek before I drifted into the world of sleep. I'll take any nightmares there instead of facing the one in the real world.

Idia in any au I have is just gross, irnoic since he loves to degrade you for being so gross. He loved the idea of the bully and victim trope, a guilty pleasure he plays and reads with every chance he's got. Idia is still scared to bully anyone that isn't you, because you're such an easy target it rubs his ego in a nice way. You cower when he just as much mimics Leona or Vil's personality/voice to edge you, grinning wildly at your upset expression. You make this all too easy for Idia to play with, he's tested and studied your behavior, will you let sneak his hands under your shirt? Take his fingers down your throat?

Of course things go south with Idia, horny gripping his knee when you as much beg him to not expose the photos he secretly took while you showered. He really just hates you for no good reason, every word coming out of his mouth is utter bull, shouting that you should stay away from him and Malleus. Although, Malleus would be the one coming to you. Just breathing near him drives him crazy! Your appearance is inappropriate, smeared lipstick and devilish hair; just came out of Malleus's room.

Sebek is a little slow at the moment, but he'll connect the pieces and good lord. He can't decide whether or not Malleus chose you or you're such an attention seeking whore. He's grabbing at your thighs and pulling them open to see if you and Malleus actually did do it.

He's ripping whatever you have that's in his way of spreading your legs, trying to shove a finger in to see if Malleus has...put his wonderful and precious seed in you!(lol i can't take this seriously) You're crying already, fist pounding at his head as you tell him that you didn't sleep with Malleus and that he was only teasing you. But was he really gonna believe you, luckily, whatever god there was heard your prayers. Sebek backs off, mentally preparing himself to get over the fact Malleus chose you.

This will create a routine of Sebek dragging you to someplace more private, a hand over your mouth as his fingers curl deep inside you to make sure you aren't fooling around with others. Malleus deserves to dirty his virginity to a lover who isn't willing to spread their legs to any man! But there are times where he lingers longer than usual, the excuse is that you probably didn't clean properly and he's certain that someone like you isn't all that pure. Not like he's any better.

Though he hasn't spoken to you much, he is quite fond of you, the way you do not break the rules, are obidient, and are smart. He does wonder why you hardly ever speak, though... your silence leaves him curious... The first time he had ever completely spoken to you is when you were assigned as partners for a class project, he learned quickly that you were quite reserved, you hardly spoke to him... Your silence making him more curious and interested. But he didn't dare admit that. During this class project, you had spent quite a while around him, and he began feeling things, you noticed how his face became red whenever you got close to him to look over his shoulder at his side of the work. The two of you together worked efficiently, both of you restless, though you softly argued with each other late into the night, the arguements going something like;

"You should rest, I'll take on the work from here."

"No, No, Riddle-san... you go rest, I'll take the work."

"you need to rest... I can tell you haven't in a while..."

"No, I'm fine, really! Please get some rest."

Thats an arguement you have every night.

During your time working on this project together, he noticed that your voice is now calmer... softer. You used to ignore him when he greeted you with a good morning everyday, but you're now responding with a nod and a silent but hearable "good morning." The more time you spend around each other, the more he feels like a large amount of weight is lifted off his shoulders. He has begun feeling attached like you like how a strong magnet attaches to a piece of metal. He doesn't want to let go. The kindness you've showed him so far... he can't just let you leave...

The thoughts he has of you holding him close and showing him affection and love? The way he earns for you to be by his side? They are feelings completely unexplainable to him. But of course, he cannot ruin his image, not like this. So he hides it. Hides it behind those smug expressions he always has on. But on the inside, he wants your approval, your hypnotizing eyes on him, your praise... he craves it like how those with a sweet-tooth crave their sugary delights that they've become so addicted to. the many times you have been together has changed you. Yandere tweels x 4”9 fem reader who’s about to go home

Recently the octotrio got of you going home . You wanted to go home because of the octotrio mainly because of their stalking behavior also grim was recently found dead with bite marks that were the exact same as the tweels teeth .Tweels will not let you leave . Azul decides to help the tweels since you seem to put flyod into better moods.

Lately you have been around other people for protection. A lot of people think it’s a good idea to leave due to the tweels recent behavior. As well as the tweels constantly threatening anyone whose close to you. Recently the tweels have gotten more aggressive and have made life harder for your friends. When ace went to the basketball club flyod threatened him to not be around you even calling you his ace didn’t accept this saying you were your own person which angered flyod who beat ace up.

Their are many more occurrences that I will list on this paragraph. Ace would always find his shoes muddy. Some of your friends would often find their brooms broken. Sebek would find the gear for his horse often broken. Recently your friend kaeya from octoville would be severely punished for tiny things and was often framed by the tweels. Ichigo another friend from octoville found abunch of dead krill in his room with a note that said get out of mcs life or your dead.

Riddle started to find dead goldfish in his desk with threatening notes . Epel and vil also started to find dead fish in their desks. Ace and deuce also found dead animals in their desks. Jack recently found some dead animals in his locker.

Though you wanted to stay at the nrc it was to dangerous for you . Your only way home was a special mirror or one of the mirrors of ramshackle but the ramshackle mirrors were risky. Some you and Crowley were figuring out the better option. But to use the mirrors properly you needed a rare special key you and Crowley had the only known ones in the world. Recently the option of ramshackle disappeared because the mirrors were recently found broken and most of the stuff in ramshackle went missing. As well as your key luckily Crowley still had one .

In Crowleys office Azul walks in . Nervous Crowley asks Azul what do you need Azul . “ oh just that mirror and the key you see it would make flyod and jade extremely sad to lose mc as well as the havoc it would cause flyod to make “ Azul said. “ also it would be a shame if some of your secrets got out like you left a minor alone in a barely functioning house , multiple overblots have occurred on your watch , also the fact you have mc a teen working for free for you that would be a shame “said Azul . Crowley the bastard he is decided to go along with Azul . “ what do you need me to do Azul said Crowley.

Azul said destroy the key and the mirror or could put the key somewhere nobody would find it like the dwarves mine. Not going to lie when Crowley got to know you here grew a bit of soft spot for you . All the teachers and staff grew soft spots for you . One of the reasons you were able to get the rare items was because of the staff and teachers. Crowley then said no she is like a daughter to me and I will not let you hurt her.

Daughter you say daughter as I remember you put her in terrible conditions , have had her as your personal responsibility doer said Azul . “ if you do see her as a daughter you will consider my offer , from what i know with the information jade gathered from students she’s being raised by her elder sister she will have a much better hand in life here said Azul .

Azul went out of his way to organize this beach event for the octavinelle dorm

And of course Crowley would send you as teacher assistant with camera in hand

Even if you tried confided in him about you phobia

But you stayed tucked under the umbrella and on your towel along with Grim who was already sleeping

Without anymore words he scooped you up and began to walk to the beach

Hi there! I wanted to ask for a some headcanons of a poly overblots x reader, like what would it be like kinda thing?

I apologize for the long wait, I hope you'll still enjoy your request!

• This is kind of...difficult. Because when you think of a relationship with the overblots, you immediately think of a Yandere relationship. However, as I've stated before, I don't write Yandere relationships, so I'll have to get a little creative here.

• Each and every overblot in Twisted Wonderland was caused during some form of mental breakdown of the student. This leads to them not only being at their most unstable, but also at their most vulnerable. This would translate into a relationship as well. I think, while overblots would still be able to share to a certain degree, there would be a lot more problems.

• Let's start with the best example: Jamil. Someone who finally let all of his resentment and pent up frustration out of its cage. He would definitely be a lot more possessive in this form, clinging to the one thing that was his and should be his alone. Reassure him that he's loved no less by you and he'll understand it eventually. The snakes are nice for cuddling.

• Vil and Leona are very similar to Jamil and each other: Both feel like they're standing in the shadow of someone superior to them and they can't stand it. As soon as they get the feeling, another partner is doing a better job in the relationship, they'll start to overcompensate. Try to get them to relax and to see this not as a competition, but as a relationship.

• Riddle and Azul are kind of similar as well, both having made terrible experiences during their childhood which have made them who they are today. This causes overblot Azul to become very greedy including when it comes to your attention. For them, you'll have to take on a similar role as Trey and the tweels: Someone to stabilize them when they start to spiral.

• All in all, I think a poly relationship could work, but it would take a lot of work and healing from everyone.

Yandere!Azul x reader headcannons

• You're a student at NRC and needed money to get by sometimes. (Since you're not from this world to begin with.) You've heard of Octavinelle and how they sometimes needed 'staff' so that Monstro Lounge can function properly. When Dire Crowley recommended that you should help there out so he can give you meals you needed during breaks instead of working outside of the campus, you complied.

• You started to work for Azul as a helper in the kitchen after he had you sign a contract... It was a contract which only said that you'd work for him in Monstro Lounge and nothing to major. It seemed normal was what you thought after you've heard all those rumours of having contracts with the Octavinelle dormleader.

• When you started the job... Nothing seemed off... In fact you liked working there. Yes, sometimes you had silly jobs to do, but it really didn't matter to you.

• What DID matter to you was that the dorm head was sometimes so caught up in doing business that he would often 'forget' to eat or drink properly. This made you go out of your way and prepare things for him like light snacks and some drinks like tea or just water. You were then every time reminded that he doesn't like to eat balanced. And you noticed it by how picky he could be while eating.

• After all your small gestures and how you are actually one of the few workers that won't complain everyday (unless when it came to his health), he had taken quite the liking to you and would often start small conversations with you. Seeing your views on different topics and wishing that it could last longer.

• He didn't really had an explanation for his feelings until he saw the tweels pester you from time to time... especially Floyd, it doesn't make you mad and sometimes even makes you laugh at their actions. Which made him feel jealous. He wanted to be the reason why you laughed and smiled. Yes, you smile and laugh during conversations with him, but he wanted to be the only reason why you smiled and laughed.

• After some thought Azul started a contract that's probably more powerful than any contract he has done before. He asked to be your boyfriend.

Yes, this may or may not seem like a contract to most... or a powerful one at that, but sometimes feelings of one can overpower the bond of a true contract.

After he asked the question, you complied. Seeing how you somehow did fall in love with him.

• Your relationship started smoothly.

Though affection was given more privately, he would sometimes do small gestures like pushing your hair behind you ear and will sometimes call you by nicknames. It was sweet overall and you started to fall more for him the more he did these little gestures.

• The relationship was good and healthy. You were happy and he too seemed very happy. This went on for months until slight changes in his behaviour started to come to light.

• It's not that you hate the little changes. They're not harmful, but it could be suffocating at some point.

• Azul was fine until some people didn't get the hint that you're together.

• This would lead to Azul sometimes (demanding) asking the tweels to check up on you, secretively, when he can't. How much he hated this idea, the tweels were both the people he can and can’t trust... Thus his very first or very last choice of people to check up on you.

• He would ask later, when he can see you, if something happened today and would ask if you've seen the tweels for that certain time period because "They apparently weren't working or were they needed to be." Knowing very well what they were doing during their 'absence'.

• If you answered that you haven't seen them, then he will choose to believe you and be somewhat relieved from the inside. Giving to a small kiss to your cheek. This didn't mean that he was less wary of the tweels and if you have or haven't seen them.

He knows very well how smart those twins can be and will probably have a 'closer eye' on you himself.

• He will start to be clingy when he's near you and if someone makes you laugh he would throw arm around your shoulder. Acting like this was normal and smiling gently at you and the person, but inside he's kind of angry.

• If there's someone looking too intensely at you then he would glare at them when you're not looking.

• There's someone bothering you non-stop? He will make the next few minutes miserable for that person.

• There's someone bullying you? They have been expelled and as bonus have some scary memories to take home with them.

• He would do these things without you knowing and would often make it happen in a way that the same person can never tell you what happened. Thus you'd never know that this would happen.

• If someone does come to you saying that Azul did something wrong. You either can't believe it, because he's too nice to you and to others (when he's near you) OR he would contradict everything that the person says, eventually have them give up, because he gives too many good reasons why he 'wouldn't' do that or 'hasn't' done that.

• Behind closed doors he would occasionally ask if you're happy to be with him and if you fancy someone else maybe.

• He mixes his questions with affection and sentences like "I really do love you.", "I'm so happy that your mine", "I wish that this moment could last forever."... He really means what he says here, but uses it to seem less suspicious when he asks those other questions and formulates his sequence of sentences that it won't raise any red flags

• He would often remind you that he and you are in 2 'contracts' an official and 'a not so' official one

• The official one meant that he could ask you to do something in Monstro Lounge and would pay a little more and show gratitude after you've done the few tasks... this one you can quit easily.

• The not so official one was harder to stop, since the only thing that's keeping you bonded to this one is your heart. You love him too much to leave him. He has been to kind for you to leave him and he never gave you a reason to leave him. Just as he planned.

• Very soon you probably won't be able to sever this contract, because he has some tricks up his sleeve that would bond you both... for life.
