A blank space with missing pieces
a modern AU story set in Grand Line City which is practically a lawless city infested by several gangs(the cannon crews duh) and disappearances are common, but things change when missing people start turning up dead in different corners of the city . Law is a surgeon struggling to maintain a peaceful life.
He spectacularly fails at this when he unexpectedly wakes up next to the corpse of one of the missing and is immediately found at the crime scene. Fortunately, it is not by a civilian or a police officer, but by the leader of an emerging gang that has been causing great chaos in the city: Mugiwara no Luffy.
Law is taken in by the Straw Hats, who are looking for Luffy's brother. Portgas D Ace is just another face in the news, one of the countless people missing. In the end, Law has little (or no) option but to join Luffy in the search for the real killer in order to clear his name and, hopefully, save Luffy's brother before he becomes another corpse.
Everything goes off the rails even further when a serial killer calling himself the "Surgeon of Death" emerges and Law's DNA is found on victims who are found dismembered and grotesquely reassembled, with their hearts and lungs missing. Now not only the gangs suspect his involvement in the crimes but also the police and the public, especially when they discover that thirteen years ago he was rescued from the infamous Donquixote gang.

Summary: He'll chase you down until you love him.
Pairing: villain!Yunho x female!reader
Words: Shakira, Shakira, eres tu?
Genre: Smut, Angst, Miscellaneous; Long
⚠️ I am not romanticizing any of this stuff, it is called villain!Yunho because these things are bad. If you need warnings don't read my stuff you never know⚠️
The sight of silver hair under a hood in the night, a faint whistle in the distance, and the sound of heavy boots hitting the concrete was the townspeople's worst nightmare. Sometimes he would carry around an axe, a crowbar, or a bat, that he would drag against the floor or hit against the brick walls as if it were a warning saying "beware, here I come".
Coming across this man - if he could even be called that, as no one could believe someone so merciless could be human - meant certain death most times.
He did occasionally just wish to strike fear upon people, but he was known for stealing, vandalizing, murdering, disfiguring, torturing... Everything you could think of and more.
It was quite easy to avoid him, one should simply remain inside as soon as the sun began to set, but to everyone's dismay, the cold-blooded killer started becoming bored, he wanted to see how many people he could terrify at the same time.
Unfortunately for you, you were at the wrong place at the wrong time. You had just exited your favourite café, drink still hot in your hand, when you heard tired screeching, as cars came to a halt, and a bunch of beeping. You turned your head to look at what you presumed was an irresponsible driver, but instead found a man.
A tall man, dressed fully in black, with his hood pulled over his head, standing in the middle of the road as if he were immortal, as if he knew the cars would swerve in his favour and not hit him. The man stood there, like a menacing shadow watching everyone's moves.
It wasn't until the wind blew over and revealed part of his silver hair and his menacing smile that people recognized who he was. The city came to a halt, and not a breath to be heard.
"I don't think I've introduced myself!" He shouted, reaching into the duffle bag by his side "My name is Yunho!"
The man pulled out two AK's and shot them at the sky. He then watched, with a smile on his face, as people scrambled out of their cars, running to safety. Others, perfectly depicting the egoism of the human race, locked themselves inside buildings, leaving their neighbours to fend for themselves outside.
Yunho sat on the hood of a car, tongue stuck out, with a huge smile on his face, as he watched the people run around like bugs hit with bug spray as if it was his own work of abstract art. The desperation of a human.
Once again hit by the worst luck possible, you ran back to the café you had just been in and tugged on the door handle. Locked. You banged on the wooden door, begging for them to let you in, but it seemed you were on your own.
You looked behind, hoping he hadn't caught you struggling and shaking in fear, but just then, you made eye contact with him.
Shit.
You wiggled the door handle as if you were strong enough to break a lock and burst in, but it was too late.
Yunho slowly removed his hood and climbed off of the car, to take a better look at you. The man's eyes widened, bewildered by your beauty, and in disbelief that someone so alluring could even be real. He took long, slow strides to get to you, your heart racing faster and faster at every step.
By the time he had gotten to you, you here crouched on the floor, your legs seemingly too weak to stand, eyes closed shut and back against the door.
Yunho grabbed your cheeks and forced you to look him in the eye. Somehow your terror, your fear... It did not please him. He did not want you to feel fear.
"Please... Don't kill me." You begged, your voice coming out in nothing but a small whimper.
Yunho tilted his head. He couldn't understand why you would think that he would kill someone so... perfect.
Before he could say anything sirens sounded in the background, seemingly getting closer and closer. Yunho grabbed your wrist and threw you inside of a random car that still had the keys in the ignition and he blasted off before the cops saw him.
In your head your death sentence had been signed, you were done for. You rested your head against the car seat and let your arms fall limp to your sides. Your relaxed outside did not match the insane heart beating inside of your chest. You wanted to run, but you knew there was no point, you were dead. Alive, but dead.
Suddenly, the car stopped. You knew that because you felt the machine coming to a halt, not because you saw it since all you could see was the world around you spinning.
There was a breeze coming from your side, and you heard a voice mixed with the endless ringing in your ear, but you couldn't make out what it said, so you didn't reply.
It wasn't until you felt the man pick you up bridal style that you lost the rest of your senses and everything went blank.
When you woke up you were in a comfortable bed, the most comfortable you had ever been. The duvet was made of feathers, the pillows were silky and there was a dim light coming from the headboard of the bed, so you could see your surroundings. To your right, big windows that displayed a beautiful view of the city's lights at night. To your left, an open door that, from what you could see, lead to a walk-in dresser, and on its side was a display case, full of trophies and pictures. In front of you was a wide door, with several paintings decorating the walls, and a vanity.
This room was pristine, well-decorated, and organized. Where the fuck were you!?
Suddenly you heard footsteps come your way, and the calm, heavy paces reminded you of the scenery previous to your black out. Your chest became heavy again, as if someone was sitting on it, and your breaths were harder to control.
You saw a tall, large figure in the glass of the large door in front of you, and it then opened slowly, revealing everyone's worst nightmare for the last two months: Yunho.
You gripped the sheets and sat up, knowing there was nowhere to run, and watched as the door revealed the whole man.
His hand reached for the light switch and he turned on the ceiling lights to look at you.
He had large sweatpants on, as well as a large, black t-shirt. He was barefoot, and honestly looked like a silver-haired Ryuzaki: with pale skin, dark circles and messy hair. He tilted his hair wile examining your body language.
You watched as he climbed on the bed, hovering on top of you. His face was a mere centimeters away from yours. He then stepped back and sat, cross-legged, in front of you.
"Are you scared of me?" The man asked, almost confused.
He looked like a little kid asking his parents if he was in trouble after spilling juice on the carpet.
Your throat felt like it was closed up, and you couldn't speak, so you just slowly nodded. You couldn't blink either, almost as if your brain had this idea that he would vanish the second your eyes closed.
The man frowned, he seemed angry at the response. He seemed to think he had done nothing to earn your fear.
"Why?" He asked, voice deep and serious.
"Y-You kill people... You torture them a-and you steal!" You explained, voice raising from the stress and fear.
"And that makes me a bad person?"
It was almost as if he lacked all sense of... anything, really.
"It does. You rob people of their life, of their freedom, of their stuff." You said, gesturing to the bedroom you were in.
"How do you know about all that? Have you seen it?" He asked, holding his head up with his head in amusement.
"Well, I saw you shoot two huge guns in the middle of the street yesterday." You argued.
Yunho shrugged.
"And who died?"
He did have you there... No one died...
"You stole someone's house!"
There was silence.
"What, you mean this house?" Yunho asked, gesturing around him.
"Yes."
Yunho laughed.
"This is my house princess. I was born here."
This time the silence came from you, as you were processing the words that came out of his mouth.
Yunho licked his lips and bit his lower lip as he got closer to your face.
"What? Only poor people get to be bad people? Rich people are such good souls, who could ever imagine a rich person being bad?"
"So you admit you're 'bad'." You said, nervously.
His hand wrapped around your neck, gently and slowly.
"I am bad, and I love being bad." Yunho whispered in your ear.
"B-but why? You got money, why do you do all that stuff when you could just... live comfortably? If- If you had issues surely you'd have the means to solve them."
He sat back on his heels.
"You seem to be under the impression that just because people don't have money they're more prone to be villains."
"Sorry, I don't mean that, I'm just asking... why?"
Yunho giggled.
"You're asking for what? My villain origin story?"
"I... guess."
Yunho sat against the headboard and moved you to sit on his lap. He didn't look very strong but committing crimes must've helped.
"Well, my curious little princess," he started, caressing your face, as he held you in place with his hand on your thigh "my mom worked in the government and my dad was a scientist. They didn't spend a lot of time at home because of their jobs but they were great parents and I loved them. When I was around 15 they started being home a lot more. The blinds were always shut for some reason and there had always been security around the house but it tripled around this time. Turns out my dad had made a discovery that would drastically help at least slow down climate change, and my mom had found out via her position that several world leaders and powerful CEO's were trying to cover it up because they would lose profit, they would lose benefits, they would lose the ability to control people based on their fear. My dad tried to spread the information but he was either intercepted or denied due to everyone's fear of 'the higher-ups'. They ended up being killed in front of me. I was hiding so no one saw me, but they were shot dead and dragged away. All of their work was stolen. I didn't even get to bury them, I didn't get to say goodbye, I didn't get to say I loved them one last time."
Yunho's eyes were glossy and they were fixated on the wall, almost as if he was re-living the images in his head. He blinked away the tears and looked at you, all emotion absolutely gone, and instead replaced by a blank stare.
"They tried to be good and in return, they got killed. So what good is it to be merciful, to try to help?"
"Yunho I am sorry that happened to you, but why do you do it to innocent people? What wrongs have those people from yesterday committed?"
"Probably a lot. No one's innocent. But it's a vice. I started with specific targets, a couple politicians, scientists, government officials, a couple wives and husbands of said people, etc... Everyone that betrayed my parents that I could target. It became a vice, seeing people's fear and panic, I loved it. I loved that I could finally do that to them, and I can't stop now. Let it be known, however, that I never actually hurt innocent people. I just scared them a little to... keep them in line, let's say. Any news saying otherwise are copycats trying to ride on my coattails." Yunho said with a smile.
There was a smile and silence before he could speak again.
"But I didn't like the fear on your face, I really did not like it at all. I don't ever want to see you scared."
"Me? Why?"
Yunho caressed your face, and then the curves of your body.
"Because you're the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life."
Your body instantly felt hot and you couldn't keep eye contact.
"And your way to make me not scared is to kidnap me?"
"Well, I wanted to show you I'm not that evil. I'm pretty alright!"
"What if... I want to leave."
Yunho gripped your thighs harder.
"I'm afraid that would not be possible."
"This is why... This is why I'm afraid of you."
The man's grip loosened slightly.
"I'm sorry, I'm afraid I can't let you go."
You pushed yourself off of Yunho and stared him down, angrily.
"So you take me against my will and then won't let me leave!? And then you try to tell me you're not a villain?"
Before Yunho could reply you ran out of the bedroom. You weren't really sure where you were going but you wanted to be away from him. You ended up in a different bedroom, where you tried to hide in the closet. The house was huge, from what you could tell, so it would at least give you some good minutes alone.
It took about 2 minutes from that thought until Yunho found you. He knelt down beside you and gripped your neck.
"I loved this game," he said, licking a stripe across your jaw "too bad I have cameras everywhere, princess."
You looked at him with teary eyes.
"Please... Let me leave, I'm scared."
Yunho frowned at the words.
"I don't like it when you're scared. Stop that."
"I... I can't. I can't stop it."
"I will make you fall in love with me then."
You scrunched your face in disgust.
"Okay, Don Massimo, that is creepy."
The man looked confused, and tilted his head, as if asking "what the fuck are you talking about!?".
"Don Massimo? The dude from 365 Dni?" You explained further, but he still seemed to not get the reference "It's a movie about this one guy that stalks this woman and then kidnaps her and says that he will try to make her fall in love with him in 365 days, if she doesn't he will let her go. That kind of seems like what you're doing."
Yunho's ears perked up and his eyes glistened.
"Is this an interest of yours? The movie? Let's watch it!"
Before you could protest and explain why that would be beyond uncomfortable and a terrible idea, Yunho was dragging you across the house to the ridiculously big and luxurious living room.
"Yunho, I don't think it's a good idea."
"Why?" The tall male said, as he ignored your complaints and rented the movie.
"It will be... uncomfortable."
"Why?" He asked, again, like a broken record, pressing play and dragging you to the couch.
"There's weird scenes..." You tried your best to explain.
You probably should've been explicit, but you were a little shy to blurt to this stranger "I don't want to watch hardcore porn next to you".
"I'll be fine, I've done stuff that some people find uncomfortable."
And with that, you shut your mouth, on one side a little anxious about the awkwardness that would ensue, but also a little curious as to if Yunho would be uncomfortable by something like that.
You let the scenes ride and watched the (awful) movie until the first sex scene came up: a blowjob. Nothing too extreme, but sexual nevertheless. You looked at Yunho sneakily, so he wouldn't realize you were staring. He was definitely a little more tense, but nothing too extreme.
It went all relatively well until the first hard sex scene began. Yunho's legs spread instinctively until his knee touched your leg, and after a particular choking scene, he whimpered.
Your head shot to look at him, and his head was resting on the couch, looking at you with hazy eyes and pink cheeks.
"I really wanna do that to you... Please." Yunho whispered in your ear.
Your body felt hot, and your stomach felt like it was twirling. You wanted to press your legs together and grip the sofa's cushions, but in no way, shape, or form did you want Yunho to know how aroused you felt.
Yes, he had kidnapped you, but he was tall, attractive, strong, he had huge hands and to hear a dangerous man like that whimper and beg for you... It did things to you. The extra adrenaline coming from the danger element didn't help the case either.
"Talk about being attracted to toxic men." You thought.
Someone once said "It's better when it feels wrong" and you thought the sentence stupid until that precise situation, where you were perfectly aware of how fucked up it was.
"I said it would be uncomfortable. I'm not doing anything." You desperately hoping he would drop it, 'cause if he pushed you any further you'd give in.
To your surprise, he stood up.
"I don't want to be pushy, I accept your no."
He started to walk away, leaving you confused.
"Where are you going?" You asked, not moving from your place.
Yunho stopped for a second and looked over his shoulder, in your direction.
"If you're not gonna finish me off, then I will." He resumed his walk and then stopped once more "Don't try to leave, I have people outside that won't be as gentle as I am."
All of the speech sent a slight shiver down your spine, but you remained in place. You heard a door close in the distance and immediately sighed and relaxed against the couch.
"What. The. Fuck. What the fuck is going on!?" You asked yourself.
You figured you had a bit of time to kill, so you turned off the awkward movie and began your tour around the stranger's house. It was humongous, it had a modern stereotypical 21st century mansion vibe, and the rest of the place followed suit with the bedroom: clean and organized. No one would've guessed it was the house of a killer.
At some point, you began recognizing the paintings on the walls so you figured you had ended up back in the same place. You were about to turn around and try to find undiscovered areas when you heard a sound. The most beautiful, butterflies-in-the-stomach creating sound.
You got closer to make sure it was what you thought it was (or that was what you tried to convince yourself was the reason, deep down you just wanted to hear it better).
Yunho was whimpering and moaning like there was no one else in the house like there was no one to hear him fucking himself like crazy. You pressed your ear against the door, and your legs started rubbing together.
"If you're gonna be pressed up against the door listening to me can I at least be behind you?"
You froze at the sound of Yunho's voice, and he could tell by the way your legs stopped that you didn't know what to do. Yunho chuckled and fuck was it beautiful.
"The door isn't opaque, it's just like a car's tinted windows, I can see you, but you can't see me. Come in, princess. This time you can't deny you want me, you came to me."
You were hesitant as you reached toward the door handle, and again, Yunho could tell from your movements.
"Fuck," he groaned "ignore the fucking moral conflict in your head and come fuck me."
That was about what broke you. You were already very near the limit, it wouldn't have taken a lot to break you, and that surely did.
You opened the door confidently, but shut it back shyly, after seeing Yunho. The room was purple from the LED lights and there were all kinds of sexual paraphernalia on the walls. Yunho was lying on the bed, fully naked, fringe stuck to his forehead due to all the sweat, chest heaving up and down, and a black, leather choker that connected his neck to the headboard with the help of a chain.
Yunho called you over with his finger, and a cocky smirk on his face.
You walked over to him, slowly, very wary of his surroundings. Taking note of this, Yunho grabbed something and threw it at you. When you caught it you stared at your hands until your eyes adjusted to the lights and you could make out what it was. A key.
Yunho sat up on the bed and leaned forward, until the chain stopped him.
"I'm all tied up princess, you got control over me. Now come here."
You set the key on the ground, far from him, and stepped closer. When you were by the bed you turned around and removed your jeans. Slowly and with your ass perked up so he could take a good look at it.
With one hand, Yunho jerked himself off, and with the other he smacked and groped your ass.
You playfully slapped his hand away.
"Are you gonna make me beg, princess?"
You got on top of him, your clothed cunt rubbing against his hard cock.
"Maybe."
Yunho rolled his eyes back into his head and his hips against yours.
"Please, use me as you want, princess."
You bent down and kissed his neck, letting him grab your ass and push your core against his cock. He incessantly rubbed his cock against you as you worked on his neck, until you sat up to remove your shirt.
Yunho whimpered and bit his lip at the mere sight. You then kissed down his abdomen, until your lips reached his tip.
You started slowly, taking his tip in your mouth, sucking on it, and helping out with your hand. As time went by, you were taking more and more of him, until his hand was tangled in your hair and his cock was hitting the back of your throat. After a while, he was thrusting his hips into you, but he suddenly pulled on your hair, taking his cock off of your mouth.
You looked up at him, wondering if you did something wrong.
"I don't wanna cum in your mouth. I want to cum in you, make you mine."
You smiled and climbed on top of him. Your lips hovered over his, slightly touching but not enough to be called a kiss, until you thought "fuck it" and kissed him. It was sensual and intense, but not teeth-clashing rough. You could tell he was trying not to hurt you.
His hands gripped your ass and guided your body to grind against his cock. Said hands then sneakily made their way up your body and removed your shirt.
"I feel like I've begged enough, princess. just ride me."
You ran your tongue across your teeth and removed the remaining underwear.
"As you wish, baby."
Slowly, and with Yunho's help, you inserted him in you. The male threw his head back, his neck complimented by the accessory holding him back, and moaned.
"Shit, fuck- Who knew you could look ever better." Yunho commented with a shit-eating grin as you began riding him.
You grabbed your tits and sped up the pace. You were both a sweaty, whimpering mess. The look on Yunho's face made you forget how wrong and fucked up the situation was, and all you could focus was on how hot he was, and you horny he got you.
Yunho smacked your ass and guided your hips up and down his cock.
"You're doing so good princess, fuck."
"Shit Yunho, you're so big-"
"Do I make you feel good? Hm?" He asked, delivering another spank to your ass.
"Yes- yes, so good."
With those words, and the beautiful way his name sounded leaving your lips, Yunho broke free of his restraints and flipped you around.
You looked at him, shocked.
"I could always break free from that, I just wanted you to feel safe until you felt comfortable, and given the situation," he said, pausing to look at the way his cock entered you "I'm pretty sure you're comfortable."
You gripped his neck and pulled his face down, closer to yours.
"You little shit." You said, before closing the gap and kissing him.
Your hands gripped the hair on the back of his head as he fucked you. Your moans mixed with Yunho's in the kiss.
When his pace picked up he pulled away from your lips.
"I'm gonna cum, I'm gonna feel you up good, yeah?"
"Fuck, fuck- yes!"
Three strong thrusts and Yunho buried his cocks deep in you, as he came with a loud groan.
He wasn't done, however. After you felt his dick slip out of you, it was replaced with his fingers and tongue, playing with you expertly until you came.
Yunho then handled you with care, pulling the sheets over your body and laying next to you, keeping you company while you slept.
The next day you woke up in a different bed and were quite startled until you found Yunho next to you. His eyes peeled open, as you ended up waking him by moving so violently.
"Good morning." He said with a groggy voice.
His hair was messy and his cheeks were red and puffy. You couldn't believe that was the face of a killer.
"How did I get here?"
"Oh I carried you here, I wasn't going to let you sleep in a sex room."
At least he was caring... You guessed.
Surprisingly, Yunho's cockiness was correct. The man was intoxicating. The way he cared for you, the way he fucked you, the way he loved you... It was unlike anyone else. You stopped being scared of him and started feeling safe. Even when he let you leave, you didn't. This was the one time you allowed yourself to do something ludicrous and spontaneous, a fucking stupid thing that would come back to bite you in the ass but while you were in it you enjoyed it more than anything else. Yunho brought out a side of you you didn't know you had, but enjoyed nevertheless.
The way he would leave the house and drive across the world to buy you authentic Italian pizza if that's what you wanted... It was the man you deserved. And for that, you were willing to ignore the crimes.
The crimes that died down once you appeared in his life, he was so intoxicated by you, so completely drunk in love that any rage or hatred was completely absorbed and vanished.
It was the same love that made him careless, his head was in the clouds and he lived and breathed for you. And the same way he lived for you, he died for you.
After years of searching, Yunho was tracked down, his recent negligence lead to him being followed, and three months after you had initially been brought to his house, gunfires were heard outside. Yunho, that was kissing you in the middle of the living room, pulled away and looked at you.
He was terrified. It was the first time, ever since that dreadful night when he was 15, that Yunho felt scared.
He was terrified to lose you, he was terrified that you'd feel scared again and he wasn't there to make you feel safe.
"Yunho?" You asked, looking at him with worry.
His eyes filled with tears, that, no matter how hard he tried to fight back, eventually ran down his cheeks. The man smiled, knowing his fate. The payback for his crimes... Life was indeed cruel, and he asked why must his happiness be taken twice.
"It will be okay, princess. Don't be scared, please." He held your face in his hands and kissed you softly.
"It won't Yunho! Please! Let's run."
"I have to pay for what I've done, but you have to go, before they see you."
There was a loud thud and a bunch of heavy steps echoed in the house.
"I will be with you until the end." You told him.
And Yunho didn't fight it. He held you close and kissed you, tears streaming down his face. The kiss was full of emotion. There was need, desperation, love and sadness to the mix.
"He's here!" You heard a loud voice yell right by your side.
"I'm not afraid, because I'm with you."
BANG. BANG. BANG.
"And I love you."
After those four words, Yunho's eyes closed for the last time, and he let himself go. He didn't get to say he loved you, but you knew, and you knew you'd never love like that again.

It’s simultaneously fascinating and frustrating how perception of a character can be so thoroughly warped via memes and hearsay and even continue to be so despite more and more lore being put out to explain them to people who just don’t listen.
There’s a good chance that any random person you talk to will think Arturia is some kind of psychopathic serial killer who persuades people to kill themselves for fun. That she’s an unhinged criminal who indiscriminately uses her Arts on anyone and everyone for shits and giggles. Because she’s evil and wants to see the world burn.
When that is not her character… at all.
Bizarrely enough, both fans and detractors exhibit similar behaviors. They over-exaggerate her criminality. Fans play her up as some sort of AK Joker. While detractors think she's objectively a worse person compared to people like W and Kal’tsit who bombed civilians and essentially spearheaded a Sarkaz genocide in the past, respectively.
She gets 1-2 manhua detailing her past and motivations, as well as an event delving deeper into her character, but the most widespread and popular interpretation of her continues to be this flanderization of "the devil on your shoulder urging you to do bad things" for her own amusement.
Hindsight is 20/20, but even with additional lore giving context and clarification, I still see it. Even people who aren't familiar with AK know her solely as a "murdergirl". It's breached containment.
Hortus de Escapismo is where it started. And I'm genuinely wondering how people came away with such a read on her character. If they saw/read her doing something, in a bubble, without taking into consideration everything else going on. Curious.

arkham knight and maybe 2004 killer croc dating headcanons with a male reader?
you know what i got a real weakness for male readers so we're actually gonna deviate from my normal "all readers are gender neutral" thing for this one. AND THIS ONE ONLY. also pal i'm gonna do ak!croc for this one cause i know him the bestest
arkhamverse!killer croc w/male!reader
you almost don't even really compute to him at first
listen, by this point, waylon has sort of accepted that people are bad fucking news. every interaction he's had with them has sucked complete ass, and also almost gotten him killed. fuck humans
oh, and humans suck but men especially suck, given that they've largely been the ones hunting him down for his entire life.
so then you come along, and you throw him for a MASSIVE loop.
you talk to him like he's a person, not an animal. you're not afraid to be around him, and somehow not afraid to touch him, either.
you're not disgusted by how his skin looks or feels, and you're not afraid of those gigantic teeth, either.
he keeps waiting for you to be like "LMAO GOT YOU" and spring the trap, but it never happens, and that baffles him.
he's kinda gruff with you at the start because he doesn't trust you. once he relaxes into it, he's sort of hyperaware of your actions- this has been nice and all, but are you going to try to kill him now?
and then once he finally settles, you're the only human he likes or wants to be around.
he will likely try to convince you to live in the sewers.
he's pretty skeptical of other people, but he will let you vouch for some of them. he will be slightly less "i will fucking eat you" with the people you like just because you like them
he is really a gigantic guard dog on your leash. big scary dog privileges but its with a gigantic man-crocodile who eats people
(AND VERY TOUCHY)

🌱, 📖, and 🌺? :3
🌱 An unreleased/not-yet-crowdfunding game I’m looking forward to.
Okay, so my number one answer is REDACTED, and I can't actually talk about it yet. But, of some of the games I've recently backed or am waiting to see launch;
Deathmatch Island looks so slick. I've been following along on the graphical development that the creator's been sharing on twitter for a long while now, and I'm super excited to eventually try it out (semi-related, but Tim Denee, the creator, has also been sharing sneak peeks of a Blades '68 alternate setting that looks equally slick). I think Tim has a tumblr here, but I am blanking on the url...

A second close runner up is Ave Nox from @feralindiecharlie. Everything Charlie does absolutely shreds, so I cannot wait to see this megadungeon.

📖 My favorite class or playbook from a game.
The Hungry from Apocalypse Keys by @temporalhiccup! All the playbooks from AK are killer (cannot wait for people to get their hands on the stretch goal playbooks too, they rule), but I had an especially fun time playing the Hungry.
Tumblr media
One thing that's so cool about the AK playbooks is how flexible they are in allowing so many different concepts and takes on the same idea. Like, the Hungry could easily be a classic vampire, but I played a monster inspired by Sandman's Corinthian. He was an ancient nightmare that ate other dreams. The Hungry is all about grappling with this terrible power; fighting against it, giving into it. It's so much fun sometimes being truly wretched 😌
You can check out a this video to see me play the Hungry if you're curious;

🌺 A game with stunning layout or visual design.
Orbital Blues from @soulmuppet! Both layout and visual design are stellar. Pun intended. Lone Archivist (who has incredible graphical assets you can pick up on itch) did the layout, and Josh Clark did the art. Together, art and layout absolutely sells the vibe of the game. A dusty, kind of lonely, space western. I'm just gonna let a couple of spreads do the talking now.

I think Arkham Knight Jason would absolutely lose his shit if he found out that not only did darling escape her prison safe house, but she got caught in the clutches by one of the various rouges in the city. Even if he had the perfect opportunity to kill Bruce he would drop everything to rescue his darling (which could be a DLC, allowing you to play as the AK and perhaps use his own form of detective mode)
There are a few rogues that didn't get invited to Scarecrow's "Let's kill the Batman Halloween Party" like Zsasz, and iirc after the events of AK Red Hood kills Killer Moth. Maybe one of the kills mentioned in his DLC mission is a villain who decided to take Darling?
Maybe that's why Black Mask gets put on his list. Like Mission 1 is rescuing Darling, and then once they're safe he kills every one of Sionis's men and the Black Mask himself.

Book review – Sangathaara
A book who’s reputation precedes it.
Based on the same topic as an already epic novel, this book accomplished the hard task of being an interesting read. The lack of an English translation is very disappointing
It is a historical mystery with politics and drama interspersed.
It primarily tries to answer the questions surrounding Aditha karikalan's life and death.
For starters it is just 1 volume instead of 5. The author’s (kalachakram narasimhan) writing style (perhaps intentionally) gives glimpses of his former career as a journalist. The story and pacing keeps the reader engrossed-slow enough to reel you in but fast enough to prevent boredom.
It is the content, however, that has left the audience split. The book starts off with aditha Karikalan ‘s spectre lamenting that he hasn’t received justice even after 1000 years- that his killers haven’t been found. We can’t help but quip- but they have been found! In the inscriptions. The author (via AK) argues that the ‘killers’ held important titles in the chola court (“bramadhirayan”) and termed as traitors (how can pandyas be traitors to cholas?). Most suspiciously, their punishment seems neither grave or memorable for a crime of this magnitude.
Several decades into the future, a daughter of Sundara chola with his second wife who'd become a Buddhist monk, dies leaving behind memoirs to her nephew Rajendra Chola. The latter tasks his daughter Arunmozhi nangai with reading them for him - with horrifying reveals for both.
The actual tale begins with kundhavai’s “coming of age” ceremony at the twilight years of her great-grandfather Parantaka 1’s reign. Ambitious kundhavai and Aditha karikalan have great dreams fuelled by youthful vigor.
A teen boy raging to kill his clan's mortal enemy and a teen girl desiring more than her lot in life.
The empire is threatened by Pandyas, Lankans and Srivijaya may too join them. Anirudhdhar, Pazhuvettarayar are frustrated that their new emperor Gandaraditha has no interest in war. They plot to waylay the ship carrying the young Srivijayan princess Vijayarekha and betroth her to AK. This young girl is already engaged to a prince of purasanga (Malaysia?) and loathes her kidnapping.
A handsome young diamond merchant from Purasanga and a young warrior from a fallen Kingdom both enter the empire. The former swiftly rises up the ranks of chola nobility through an advantageous marriage and draws kundhavai’s curiosity by claiming to be the descendant of an elder Chola line. He also claims to possess important ritual artefacts (conch, parts of a plant) used in coronations of ancient Chola’s (adicholar) that kundavai is determined to anoint her brother with. The latter youth, desolate from his kingdom's fall, gains AK’s trust and married kundhavai. (Surprise surprise!)
Pazhuvettarayar, Aniruddhar and kodumbalur vellalar try to steer the rulers.
A prominent devadasi grapples with a wealthy admirer’s attention as her own past and future are questioned.
Ravidasan is given an interesting chola link to weave him into this chaos. His condemnation is also added into this mix.
The author blends a legend about ancient Chola’s artefacts with the ambitions of 10th century South India.
But why the controversy? You may ask.
This book has irked keen fans of Ponniyin Selvan, due to it’s contrasting portrayal of some beloved characters.
- Kundhavai and Vanthiyadevan are NOT good guys. They have individuals agendas.
It builds up slowly and believably within the story’s context – but best not to consider it truth.
A few reviews have pointed this out- the author’s writing style and the book’s preface claim journalistic veracity (the book’s full of footnotes) yet it has the same creative liberties as ponniyin Selvan
- Parthibendran, a fictional character, makes a short appearance.
- There’s a Nandini esque character in this book too (linked to the details in this post ). And the author gives her an unhappy end. He equates her with a real person
- Pazhuvettarayar is cleared of responsibility for AKs murder as he is his greatgrandpa/ great uncle? – but the book goes on to portray other characters as capable of killing their flesh and blood. (This happens a couple of times)
- Gandaraditha’s characterization is – uhm- a choice, alright. As a story it was acceptable (within this universe) but its murky when you realise it’s based on a real person.
- There’s a baby swap in this too. Amv and Madhurantakan's parentage is given a shocking explanation. I may reveal in the comments if y'all want it.
The author has a thorough knowledge of chola art and inscriptions, as well as the many feuds that took place over several generations, weaving them artfully as contributors to the final outcome.
A thozhi (confidant) of kundhavai -thettakani- becomes an important observer due to her proximity to key events. A neutral character in a book full of people with ambitions.

"Knew he was a killer first time that i saw him"
Confidential file Department of Organized and Emerging Crime Case N-7902-E Codename: Black Swan
Agent Name: Y/N Park
Assigned name for Mission: Lee Nari
Nari? as in Lilly in Korean?
You couldn't help but find it odd that the boss chose your own Korean name for this mission. You rarely used it, and only your grandmother ever called you that.
But, odd was about to become your middle name.
You skimmed through the files scattered on the desk, noticing some of them were thinner than a toothpick.
That was a bad sign.
Thin files meant limited information, and that meant you were being sent into a foreign country with minimal knowledge. You didn't like the idea of walking into the unknown, especially considering that the only thing you had from Korea was your father's last name and the last time you saw him alive you were a six-year-old.
You definitely needed to talk to her grandmother more often.
You were an expert in infiltration and counterintelligence, but to be honest Your personality was not what you would expect from a young high class korean lady.
For that, you would need a lot of practice before leaving.
A Chaebol daughter wouldn't know the difference between an AK-47 and a FAMAS, much less how to take it apart and put it together in a few seconds. Right?
Or how to disarm a man with one hand, a bullet in the shoulder in the middle of a…
Focus Y/N
You close your eyes for a second and open the first file and the picture of a man with a scar on his left eye greeted you, and you sighed.
It was going to be a long night and you didn’t have enough information to start this case.
🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙
Incheon Airport, South Korea.
October 10, 9:19 AM
The brisk autumn air nipped at your skin as you made your way into the international departure hall. You weren't sure if it was the weather or the adrenaline of embarking on a new mission that sent shivers down your spine. After all, you'd spent the past few days prepping to slip into the role of a pampered, elegant heiress, something that felt as unnatural as stilettos in a gunfight.
You also spent the last few days trying not to poison your partner Emmet, for every time he made fun of how much you hated this new undercover identity.
And don't even get you started on those fake nails; they were more of a hindrance than a help when it came to handling firearms or knocking some sense into people.
But it was not impossible to do.
Scanning the crowd, you looked for the person meant to meet you in the parking lot. In the middle of a crowd, a burly middle-aged man stood out in his ill-fitting suit. He had the demeanor of a gangster but the face of a teddy bear. Your eyes scanning him, looking for the Clan's tattoo – a crescent moon veiled by clouds.
Any member of the Seven Moons had to wear it in a visible place, a sort of gangster business card. This man had it inked at the base of his neck.
The man approached you with large steps smiling all the time, who knew a gangster could pass as a Golden Retriever Boyfriend  “Welcome Miss Lee, your father is waiting for you in the car” he bowed and took your luggage to take you towards the Mercedes that was parked right outside the door.
As you slid into the car, you were greeted by the smiling face of Lee Kikyung, the man who'd sold out his boss to save his own skin. And now, you had to call him "Dad."
Ugh.
"How was your trip, dear Nari? I hope you were comfortable on the flight," he asked, wearing a fake smile. You cringed at the sound of your childhood nickname, but you had to start getting used to it.
"It was good, um... Dad," you replied with a slight accent. "I hope you work on that pronunciation, precious. We wouldn't want them catching on so soon," he replied, a mischievous grin exposing a gold tooth. He was so close you could see the clan's mark on his neck, peeking out from under his expensive shirt.
What a piece of work.
"We need to head straight to the Kim Building. I don't know if your informants filled you in."
No, they didn't, you thought, but you let him continue.
"Last night, there was a lot of commotion among the Sons. All seven were down at the docks, and that's a rare sight. Looks like a big fish has entered the river. Two birds with one stone, huh? I bet you're up for a promotion after this, sweetheart." You had to resist the urge to throat-punch him, the way he was looking at you.
This guy didn't shut up the entire drive to the Kim Building. He barely took a breath between his rapid words, as if he wanted to unload everything at once and be done with you.
Classic snitch. From his body language, it was clear that beneath the old asshole’s facade, his trembling hand betrayed his nervousness. Old Lee, dressing like a character straight out of "The Godfather," might fool others, but to you, he was a washed-up criminal trying to hang on to his last vestiges of glory. How he'd climbed the ranks to lead one of the world's largest Criminal Clans was a mystery to you.
But something he said piqued your interest. The Seven Moons rarely gathered in one place, primarily for security reasons. "It's likely that all the children will be there at the meeting today," he revealed.
That really caught your attention and you turned to look at him "The Devil has summoned us all to his office. So, if I were you, I'd touch up that makeup a bit. It seems you're in luck today, sweetheart. You'll be meeting The Seven Moons."
For you, luck had nothing to do with it. Your plan had been to discreetly gather information before exposing yourself in such a way.
It was a change of plans, but not an entirely bleak one. In fact, things might not be as bad as they first seemed.
But now you'd have to improvise. The sooner you could get one of them in your pocket for the information you needed, the sooner you'd be headed home, and all these criminals would be where they belonged—
Jail.
🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙
BH Group Headquarters, Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea.
'The Office' Lee Kikyung mentioned you were going was a towering 77-story office complex that served as a front for the legal businesses funding the clan's extravagant lifestyle.
As you entered, the luxurious reception area greeted you with its tall glass windows and elegant chandeliers, making you shudder to think about the costs of building all of this. The floor, adorned with expensive black marble featuring gold veins was framed with the clan's symbol, unmistakably declaring this territory as belonging to Kim DoHan.
It felt like stepping into the gates of hell.
Accompanied by a team of about 15 suited bodyguards with menacing tattoos, you and your 'father' took the elevator to the top floor; It seemed to you that it was too much security for a friendly board meeting.
This meant that Lee's two hour TED Talk on "how to get away with snitching" was true: something was moving on the streets of Seoul.
As the doors opened to the conference room, you were struck by the absence of concrete walls, replaced entirely by windows offering a breathaking view of the city. In the center of the room stood an opulent table crafted from Japanese cherry wood. Several people were already sitting around it, in an order that did not seem improvised at all.
You sat down right next to Mr. Lee taking your time to examine everyone there. Most of the presents seemed to be different executives from the Kim companies, for the first time today you did not feel completely surrounded by gangsters.
However, the feeling did not last long.
The elevator doors slid open, and six tall figures strode into the meeting room. Instantly, everyone seated at the table rose to bow and pay their respects.
These were the young leaders of the clan, dressed in dark suits and moving with an eerie synchrony, as if they hailed from another world. In person, their presence was even more striking. Even the act of walking into a meeting room seemed to be precisely choreographed, every step filled with purpose.
You recognized their faces from the files, matching names to positions within the clan:
Kim Namjoon, the biological son and right-hand man, also the CEO of BH Group.
Kim Seokjin, the Clan's negotiator and financial administrator.
Jung Hoseok, the Clan's Support, essentially the go-to guy for various criminal needs.
Kim Taehyung, the Clan's Collector, responsible for ensuring debts were paid in either money or blood.
Park Jimin, the Clan's intelligence expert and overseer of the clan's nightlife businesses.
Jeon Jungkook, the youngest of the clan with no formal role, but per Mr. Lee's extensive criminal monologue, he was responsible for training new recruits in combat and held a special place in Kim DoHan's heart.
Yet, you noticed there was one missing, only six were present.
Where was the seventh?
Your question found an answer when the doors opened once more.
"Welcome, Sir!" The entire room chorused in unison. You managed to mimic the bow, though somewhat awkwardly. There was an amused snort from the Young leaders's side of the table, but it was hard to pinpoint the source.
When you looked up, you locked eyes with the Clan's second in command. His gaze held a mocking curiosity, almost taunting.
Kim Namjoon looked at you as if you weren't a trained agent but a bumbling, spoiled child, just another chaebol. You rolled your eyes right back at him. There was something in his expression that seemed vaguely familiar, but you couldn't quite place it.
"My Sons, my family. Good afternoon, and thank you for gathering at such short notice," the Clan leader's deep voice resonated through the room. "Lee, I'm delighted to see that you've brought a special guest today."
Chills coursed down your spine. No matter how experienced you were with criminals, there was an undeniable air of menace surrounding that man. An instinctual warning to put as much distance between yourself and him as humanly possible, as quickly as possible.
“Of course, my leader. I couldn't be more pleased by the return of my daughter” Mr. Lee replied with a wicked smile “After all, it was time to introduce my heiress” upon hearing that word, Kim's children looked at her, some with curiosity and others with complete indifference.
The Clan's head let out a light chuckle in agreement with the second-in-command before gesturing for everyone to take their seats.
And that's when you noticed him.
The man with the distinctive scar over his eye.
His real name was conspicuously absent from INTERPOL's classified files. In fact, there was nothing substantial about him—just a blurry image of his face.
And oh God. It didn’t do him justice.
Everything about him screamed danger.
He was the Clan's Strenght Leader, handling all the not-so-legal affairs.
Kim Namjoon ran the legitimate businesses, handled the money, and rubbed shoulders with CEOs and politicians.
The Shadow, as he was known, was Seoul's underworld Prince.
Standing silently behind the Clan's Head, he was like a deadly predator, waiting for the order to strike. Unlike the rest who sported expensive executive suits, his casual and nonchalant style made him stand out in the room. You know how, in nature, the most vibrant and beautiful colors often serve as a warning for poison? That analogy perfectly described him. The seventh moon's striking appearance nearly made you forget that he was the underworld lord of his clan, a cold-blooded assassin at the Devil's command.
Hi was Kim DoHan's dark general.
And probably the most dangerous man in that room.
Suga wore a black mask covering most of his face, but you could still glimpse the beginning of a scar that traveled from his left eyebrow down to his eye.
And those eyes.
He kept his gaze locked onto you, scrutinizing you, just as you had observed his brothers earlier. He watched your every move, as if he had already found a reason to be wary.
You couldn't help but feel uncomfortable under his gaze and for the first time in a long time, you looked away from someone. It felt like if you kept staring at him, all your secrets would unravel.
That was a level of danger you couldn't afford.
"You must be wondering why I summoned you from your busy schedules for this meeting," the Clan leader's voice broke the silence. "It is no secret that I'm preparing one of my sons to ascend as the clan's leader. And soon, by tradition, we must continue our family's legacy by uniting bloodlines. The prevalence of the clan above all else is the only thing that matters. Nothing else. "
Not a single person in the room dared to so much as breathing too loud. The palpable respect – or rather, terror – held everyone's tongue.
He took a solemn pause before continuing, "That's why I've decided my heir will marry the Lee family heiress. The Lees were one of our greatest allies, joining our clan twenty years ago. I had promised my dear brother Kikyung that one day, one of his own would wed one of mine. Kikyung, my brother-in-arms, you've been my right hand all these years before Namjoon came of age. This is my reward for your loyalty."
What the fuck did this man just say?
Marriage?
You couldn't hide your complete shock. There was no way that your so-called "father" and informant didn't deliberately omit this crucial detail from his UN General Assembly-worthy speech on organized crime as you were driving to the Headquarters.
The director had to know as well.
Which led to the unsettling thought: what else were they not telling you?
You weren't the only one caught off guard. The other children of the clan's leader couldn't contain their own bewilderment. Some squirmed in their seats, while others exchanged uneasy glances.
This had to be some twisted joke.
Even the seventh moon, for a microsecond, showed a speck of curiosity in his cold eyes.
"Since the hand of the Lee heiress has been promised, I have formally decided that she will reside in our private estate until my successor's name is confirmed," the clan leader declared. "I want all my children under my roof, without exception. And let me make it perfectly clear: none of you shall dare disrespect young-lady Nari. In the name of the code, Am I understood?"
"Yes, Leader," the Seven Moons responded in unison.
Wait, the name of his heir hadn't been decided yet?
You temporarily set aside Kim DoHan's implications about his children. None of those fools would dare touch you – unless they fancied losing a limb – all in the name of your code.
But given the intelligence you'd gathered about these individuals, Kim Namjoon was on a one-way ticket to becoming the Clan's leader. The overseas studies, the visits to criminal acquaintances in Russia, Japan and China, vacations with corrupt government officials and their entourage...
What did that say about Kim DoHan's faith in his own bloodline?
The Hallmark movie plot of giving all his adopted sons a chance at leadership was, without a doubt, suspicious.
However, some pieces were starting to click into place. Lee was betraying them to save his true daughter. If she married the clan's heir, there'd be no escaping the consequences when everything came crashing down.
Yet, your supposed father-dearest had delivered you on a silver platter to the Seven Moons.
It was a complete game-changer.
Old Mr. Lee wasn't scared of jail.
He was frightened for his own flesh and blood to be embroiled in a sinking ship. How he had managed to keep his daughter's true identity hidden for so long was a mystery. Did the all-powerful Kim DoHan truly not know his right-hand heiress's name until now?
There were too many loose ends, something was truly wrong.
Both men rose to shake hands, their exchange echoing with, "My clan is my family. My own flesh and blood."
"It will be an honor to welcome you into my family, young Nari," the old leader continued, his eyes locking onto yours. For some reason, your real father's affectionate nickname sounded downright chilling coming from the clan leader's lips.
It wasn't jail that terrified him, old Mr. Lee. It was  dooming his own blood to get involved with a ship that was about to sink. But how had he managed to hide his daughter's identity for all this time? Did the powerful Kim DoHan really not know the name of his right hand heiress until today?
Too many loose ends, and something was definitelly wrong.
Both men rose to shake hands “Family is my blood. My clan is my family” they told each other
“It will be an honor to welcome you into my family, young Nari” continued the old leader, drawing your attention and looking into your eyes. For some reason, the cute nickname your father had given you sounded terrifying in that person's mouth.
You offered a small bow in response, and when you straightened, the Seventh Moon was gazing directly at you.
There was something in his stare you couldn't quite define, but it was clear you didn't like how it made you feel.
You had never been intimidated by anyone before, yet you now teetered on the edge of a panic attack because of a pretty boy watching you.
A pretty boy who was a killer.
He couldn't possibly suspect anything about you, right? you wondered.
"Now, Mr. Choi," the clan leader signaled the man who had brought you there, "why don't you take this little flower to our residence, while the adults discuss other important matters?"
What the hell did this old man just call you?
Before leaving, you caught a reflection of his eyes in the glass door.
Ever vigilant.
Fine, Suga, I'll give you a reason to keep an eye on me. you thought
Perhaps this marriage scheme could work to your advantage.
Your mission was to infiltrate, and what better way than living within the Seven Moons' den.
Meanwhile, at the back of your mind, the myriad of loose ends left you with a lingering sense of unease.
Too many missing pieces...
And something was about to go so.
fucking.
wrong.
🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙
Kim Dohan’s manssion, Outskirts of Seoul
hours later
Sleep was out of the question tonight...
You had spent the entire afternoon and well into the night scouring for any scrap of information about the Seven Moons headquarters. Leaving your room, you crept through the dark corridors, making no sound.
Counting each step from your room to the next door leading to the exit was mentally logged. You noted the bulletproof glass in the windows and assumed that they had around 30 armed men guarding the house at any given moment. The Clan's den was an opulent display of excess; these criminals thrived on ostentation.
But that was a priviledge you could have when you controlled an entire nation, you could do as you pleased.
Who the hell thought of putting a lake in the middle of a house? You continued moving through the mansion crossing the internal gardens.
One thing remained undeniably true: the mansion of the most powerful criminal clan in Asia was an impenetrable fortress, nestled atop a hill, far from the bustling city of Seoul.
It had only one entrance and one exit, and its labyrinthine architecture made it all too easy to get lost within its confines. It was guarded around the clock by clansmen, armed to the teeth, with an arsenal hidden within its walls. It seemed like hey had their very own army.
Surviving an escape was highly unlikely...
at least not without help from someone on the inside.
As you made your way to the kitchen, your mind raced like an overloaded computer, with music playing from unknown open tabs.
Old Kim couldn't possibly not know his right-hand daughter's name...
Why had he offered you as a marriage reward? What was your -The daughter of Lee Kikyun- value to the clan?
How come Kim DoHan hadn't chosen his successor?
After minutes of aimless wandering, you finally found the tall double doors leading to the kitchen. Inside, luxurious countertops and shelves held utensils fit for a Michelin-star restaurant.
If this house wasn't so ridiculously big it would be easier to drink water. Where are the glasses? in Busan?
If you had to run away from this house it would probably be better to hide in the kitchen, no one would find you.
Have you left the safety on the Glock?
Who the hell is smoking weed?
The pungent smell momentarily distracted you. You'd been so focused on finding a glass that you hadn't noticed someone else was in the room. A slim figure lingered in the shadows of the window, barely revealed by the moonlight.
But you didn't need to see the full face to recognize him...
The Seventh Moon.
"Do you smoke?" the black-haired man asked from across the room, his voice so deep it was almost a growl, sending shivers down your spine.
"I don't do drugs, thanks," you replied with a flat, disinterested tone, or at least you tried to. "But could you point me to where the glasses are... please?"
The man chuckled and moved closer, rounding the kitchen island until he stood just inches from you. He gazed at you for a moment, then reached behind your head for a glass. His face inches from yours
You felt trapped, exposed.
For a moment, you forgot you were also a trained soldier on a mission. This man had you feeling like a blushing schoolgirl from a corny drama, much like the ones your grandmother watched.
You're not going to be intimidated, are you?
For the first time, you got a good look at his face, the scar running down his eye, his round nose, the way his jaw moved as he frowned, and his almost pouty lips.
That man was beautiful.
You could even smell him, beyond the scent of what he was smoking, you could pick up the musk of his cologne. The open collar of his shirt revealed tattoos peeking out and the muscles in his neck...
"You like what you see, little flower?" he teased, a mischievous grin tugging at the corners of his lips, before handing you the glass and taking a drag of his joint. "But I must inform you, anyone who sees my face without being a full clan member... ends up dead." He exhaled a plume of smoke in your direction.
Chills coursed through your body. You weren't entirely sure whether you were more aroused or irritated.
"Technically. I'm now part of your clan. You heard your father, I'm going to marry one of you," you replied, shaking your head, trying to maintain your cool.
Suga found your bratty attitude funny. "Wouldn't you like that, huh?" He got a little closer to your face to look directly into your eyes “Technically, yes you are part of the Clan. But until you take the oath and mark your pretty skin with our mark. You are not one of us, little flower” he replied, putting away a lock of hair that had fallen into your eyes.
"I think SUGA, our Leader's orders were quite explicit. Stop toying with our guest, and if you're going to smoke that shit, do it outside my house." Namjoon's authoritative voice cut through, catching both of you off guard. You seized the opportunity to slip away from Suga's grip.
Suga raised his hands in a mock surrender and looked at his second in command. "I was just offering our new friend a glass of water, Joonie. It'd be rude not to show a bit of our clan's hospitality, wouldn't it, little flower?" He winked at you.
"Nothing was happening. I couldn't find the glasses, and I was thirsty," you replied, failing to hide the compromising position you'd been in with the Clan's Shadow. "And don't call me that, that's not my name."
"Nari, lily, little flower. They're all the same," he responded, making a playful smile and leaving you momentarily flustered.
Perfect, let them think you're a complete idiot. Amazing job.
“Leave her alone, now. Suga” Namjoon spoke again with a voice of authority “Excuse him, he is not used to behaving like a human, much less having manners with a lady” He referred as his own brother like he was not a human being standing next to them
Does this Namjoon guy have a prince charming complex or what?
"Oh, please, your majesty! I'll go finish my joint in peace elsewhere. Oh, and Namjoon, you should respect your elders. I'm still your hyung, and this isn't your house... yet," the black-haired man stated with a note of warning, bowing to you before leaving and flipping off the other man.
Namjoon sighed. "I'm sorry, really. He has no control. Did you want a glass of water?" He took the glass from your hands, opened the fridge, and began to pour you some. “I know it will be difficult for you to adapt to the rules of this house, but if you need something you can ask one of the employees. They are always here to serve you”
"I didn't want to bother anyone, it's late," your reply was short a tittle more sour than you intended it to be.
"And you shouldn't worry. You now belong to this house, and it's the staff's job to take care of you. But, I'm glad we ran into eachother tonight. I wanted to speak with you before tomorrow's meeting..." Namjoon paused and scratched his neck, as if deciding the best way to approach the subject.
"Tomorrow, you'll be formally introduced to the clan. From that day on, you'll need to make the rounds with each one of us," he explained. "My father wants you to be thoroughly acquainted with every aspect of our operations. Even if I disagree with certain aspects, my father trusts yours. And I trust my Leader."
Namjoon's kind expression shifted to a stern one, his gaze intensifying. "Miss Lee, I don't know you well, and neither do any of my brothers. However, in this clan, we take loyalty very seriously. As of tomorrow, you may witness or hear things that must remain within these walls. It might be overwhelming at first, but you have no other options. And things might be unconfortable until you take the oath. But until then, you must still act in accordance with the code, or face the consequences. Is that clear?"
With his eloquent speech and steady tone, the Second in Command had just issued a subtle threat.
Well, not so subtle...
"First, Mr. Kim, there's no need to be so formal when talking to me. After all, in a few months, I'll be marrying the heir of this clan. That makes me your future sister-in-law... or wife," you stated, raising your chin with a haughty air. Namjoon remained silent, allowing you to continue.
"Second, I understand that we have to take our parents' word for the success of this alliance," feeling your blood rise to your ears, you knew you were playing a dangerous game "But I want to remind you that I am also a daughter of this clan. Blood and weapons don't intimidate me. In any case, both of us should show respect to our elders. After all, our fates rest in their hands." Taking a small step closer, he didn't budge.
But you could never guess how you were making the young leader feel. As much as he hated that you tried to hurt his pride like that, the Second in command saw for the first time in someone, an equal, a true opponent at that.
He was also undeniably intrigued by you.
"I may not know you yet, but I'm living in your house, I mean, your father's house. And I expect a modicum of consideration."  You pretended to be offended because that was the role you had to play, a spoiled, conceited heiress to the mafia.
“I have offended you. Excuse me if my words sounded like something else... “
“Okay, I understand you Namjoon, can I call you by your name? We have the same age” you interrupted him in the middle of his sentence.
“Yes, of course, can I call you Nari?” Namjoon loved the sound of his name on your lips. Of course, you could call him whatever you wanted.
“Great, thank you very much for the water and for helping me before. Good night”  With a bow, You shot out of the kitchen.
“Good Night. And Nari?” he waited for you to look at him “It is really nice to see you again. You look different now, prettier. I hope you rest well, you're going to need it tomorrow” he winked at you and your blood froze in your veins.
Kim Namjoon had met Mr. Lee's daughter before? Why hadn't Mr. Lee mentioned anything about it?
Your heart pounded in your ears.
It had been too much.
The gaps on this mission were becoming too much.
You needed to get your act together, no more games. You were already deep within the lion's den, and time was running out.
You had never failed a mission before, and this wouldn't be the first time...
No matter how appealing the Clan's Shadow was or what he made you feel.
As much as the threat of the Second in command had actually terrified you.
Without mentioning the fact that he knew Lee’s daughter.
You had to keep going; there was no turning back now.
And you would bring this clan to its knees... that was a promise.
"Baby let the games begin... are you ready for it?"

🌿 Herb Of The Day
Title: Aconite
Gender: Feminine
Element: Water
Planet: Saturn
Please note that I am provided this information on the understanding that nobody would be bloody daft enough to use it. It is of purely historical interest.
"But I think I’m a pretty sensible, safe person. Can I use aconite?"
No.
Seriously, just don’t. IF you are working in close consultation with a trained herbalist or doctor, and IF you are extremely experienced yourself, then you MIGHT be able to try making a flying ointment. However, I strongly recommend against using any form of aconite in order to do so, because its lethal dose is so, so low and there are many safer plants and fungi that could be used as ingredients by a skilled herbalist.
Tumblr media
📜 Folklore & History 📜
Not by chance it is called a ‘queen of poisons’ and ‘plant arsenic’ – in reference to arsenic, the ‘king of poisons’. A distinction sometimes found, concerns the names monkshood and wolfsbane. Some consider the white or yellow-flowered species Aconitum lycoctonum the true wolfsbane, whereas the blue flowering Monkshood (Aconitum napellus) is probably the better known of the two species. The latter is found in medieval monastery gardens. The two species contain different poisons, however similar – and both lethal – in effect.
The Greek word akónitos is composed of ak = pointed and kônos = cone, an akon being a dart or javelin, which is perhaps a reference to the plant’s use as arrow poison. Theophrastus suggests, the name is derived from the town of Aconæ (thought to be located near Karadeniz Ereğli in Turkey). It may also have been named after mount Akonitos in Pontus.
According to legend, it was near this mountain in Pontus, where the plant grew from the spittle of Cerberus, the three-headed hound of Hades, when folk hero Heracles drew up the beast from its infernal abode. Homer (800 bc) gives the first account of this myth in the Illiad. Eight centuries later Ovid embellishes the story in Metamorphoses VII, where Scythian sorceress Medea attempts to poison Theseus with aconite. Aconite features also in Metamorphoses VI: Athena sprinkles Arachne with aconite, upon which she is transformed into a spider (VI, 129ff.).
Besides, the legend surrounding Cerberus dates back to the time of Hesiod (800-700 bc), who describes the creature as a fifty-headed do and being the offspring of Typhon and Echidna. Typhon is refered to as birther of storm winds and father of all monsters and was viewed as the largest and most deadly of all creatures, whereas Echidna was envisioned as a monstrous viper and mother of all monsters. Their ‘poisonous’ blood flows in the veins of Cerberus and inside the vessels of the plant that rose from his saliva.
Aconite is also named hecateis, after the goddess Hecate. Hecate is an ancient Greek goddess of witchcraft, associated with crossroads, gateways, knowledge of herbs and poisonous plants, the souls of the dead/ necromancy and shape-shifting. In this latter aspect she is called upon as Lycania. Aconite is also thought to have been used by Thessalonian witches in hallucinogenic flying ointments.
The Berserkers, an infamous Germanic tribe, reportedly consumed Aconite in order to transform into ‘werewolves’. Aconite is said to cause a sensation on the skin of wearing a fur-coat or feathers and may induce hallucinations of transforming into different kinds of animals. Indo-European culture holds the name Luppewurz, from old German luppi = deathly juice/poison/spell, and similar to Latin lupus = wolf. The Greek byname lycoctonum means wolf-killer, possibly referring to the plant’s use in poisoned wolf baits. Hence the plant is also known as Wolfsbane in modern English language.
The most poisonous herb of Europe, aconite has a long history in poison murder. Pliny reports of Calpurnius Bestia, who killed his wives in sleep by touching their genitalia with his finger, which were smeared with aconite root extracts. According to Pliny aconite was hence also known as thelyphonon = ‘female-bane’ or ‘woman killer’. (Aconite brought in contact with the mucuouse menbranes of female genitalia would indeed cause instant death!) Pliny suggest yet another name for aconite, scorpio, was based on the curved shape of the root, which was thought to resemble a scorpion’s tail. Another example for poisoning with aconite features the, perhaps, most famous suicide of all times: Cleopatra, pressed for time, may have killed herself with the help of a poisonous cocktail containing aconite, poison hemlock and opium poppy rather than the bite of a cobra.
Aconite was sacred to Thor, the Norse god of thunderstorms and lightning. In German this connection is reflected in various folk names given to the plant, such as Sturmhut and Thor’s hat. Other popular German names are Eisenhut = helmet, and Mönchshut = monk’s hood. But there is also an erotic side the aconite, as is suggested by names such as Venuskutschen and Venuswagen = ‘wagon of Venus’. Here we have a contrast to the male and martial names and attributes, suggesting female and aphrodisiac qualities. However, the names are often simply based on various interpretations of the shape of the flowers. Related to the plant’s poisonous effects are names such as Würgling, indicating death through asphyxiation, and Ziegentod, referring to the deaths of goats that accidentally ate the plant.
Aconite has been used as an arrow poison in hunting and warfare. Arrow heads were dressed with aconite as well as the shafts, so that an enemy, who drew the arrow from the body of a wounded comrade, would be poisoned too. In India, aconite was mixed with other poisons and applied to arrowheads, so that the targets would rave mad and poison more people by biting them. Aconite’s use as an early biological war weapon extends also to poisoning the enemy’s water and food resources, e.g. the Romans used it as such. Roman Emperor Claudius died of aconite poisoning in year 54.
Tumblr media
🔮 Metaphysical Properties
It is used in spells related to protection and invisibility. An infusion of aconite can be sprinkled on ritual items during rituals to charge them with protective energy and the roots and leaves can be burned in a ritual fire for the same purpose. Use caution not to ingest or inhale the fumes!
Tumblr media
🍴⚕️ Medicinal & Culinary
Various species of Aconitum have been used for centuries both as poisons and medicines. The root is the most toxic plant part, although all parts are considered to be toxic. Extracts of Aconitum species have been given orally in traditional medicine to reduce fever associated with colds, pneumonia, laryngitis, croup, and asthma; for pain, inflammation, and high blood pressure; as a diuretic; to cause sweating; to slow heart rate; and for sedation. In traditional Asian medicine, root extracts are typically mixed with licorice or ginger. Extracts also have been used as arrow poisons. Historically, aconite was most commonly used in Western cultures as a tincture. It was applied topically as a counterirritant liniment for neuralgia, rheumatism, and sciatica. In homeopathy, aconite is used to treat fear, anxiety, and restlessness; acute sudden fever; symptoms from exposure to dry, cold weather or very hot weather; tingling, coldness, and numbness; influenza or colds with congestion; and heavy, pulsating headaches.
⚠️ WARNINGS ⚠️
Do not use aconite. Aconite root is UNSAFE when taken by mouth. All species of the plant are dangerous, and so are processed products. Aconite contains a strong, fast-acting poison that causes severe side effects such as nausea, vomiting, weakness or inability to move, sweating, breathing problems, heart problems, and death. Some people use aconite in a cream or lotion that is applied to the skin. This practice is also dangerous. The poisons in aconite can be absorbed through the skin, causing severe side effects.

post-near light musings about mlynar nearl and the nearl family in general
some japanese ak players on twitter were having an interesting conversation about the epilogue. the japanese word for "darksteel" is "kurogane" in kana:
Tumblr media
if you wanted to write it using kanji you'd write 黒金. with the characters for "black" and "gold." obviously the original word would be chinese so I might be speculating out of my ass here.
anyway, you ever notice how the nearl knights all have a white/gold colour scheme? maria obviously does. zofia, while not an official nearl, also does. mlynar, however, has a black/gold colour scheme.
the margaret who was cast out of kazimierz wore black armor. after her rejoining kazimierz society, so to speak, she went back to donning white.
the epilogue pretty much explicitly states that mlynar used to be a knight killer.
Tumblr media
he and darksteel must have had some level of mutual understanding before presumably having a falling out. he objected to integrating the armorless into KGCC:
Tumblr media
so their association must have started before the KGCC started to fully utilize the armorless as a way to maintain control over the territory and deter the campaign knights. you might remember roy talking about the founding of the armorless - it was back when the knights themselves were the oppressive feudal lords, and someone had to fight back. and so the armorless were born: people who forgo wearing armor to not make noise while carrying out murders, or people who couldn't afford the armor in the first place.
roy is a character who frequently talks out of his ass, but he made it sound like that was some pretty old history. darksteel might be near-immortal or one of the numerous immortal entities we have running around in terra - you know nobody says they've been around for a long time without reason.
Tumblr media
another thing that I think might be worth pointing out is that while the english translation was "wanderer, but not yet a knight" for that part where toland tells how he and mlynar met, the japanese translation seems to have used the word 遊侠 which means "a chivalrous person". so mlynar introduces himself as "a chivalrous man, but not an official knight" and, having just seen him wash away the blood on his face under rain, toland is like "if you're chivalrous then I am the best fucking bounty hunter in history!"

This is an actual, currently active Craigslist ad for a piccolo. Comedy worth reading, musician or not.
"They call the trumpet "God's Instrument." The instrument that takes a month to learn and a lifetime to master. Forget that. I'm giving you the chance to own "Satan's Instrument." The instrument that takes a second to hate and a lifetime to get used to. If your goal is world domination, getting the ball rolling on the apocalypse, or simply disarming someone who's a little too "rapey," this miniature flute of terror will hold the game down. And how:
Brought to you by Lucifer himself, this Bundy bpc-300 Piccolo will serve his evil minion well. From it's compact arthritis-inducing body this pipe will unleash a sound that can bring entire crowds of people to their knees in pain and surrender. If you're thinking of starting a bloody coup, leave the AK-47s and sarin gas at home son, this picc is all you need.
This instrument has the ability to sing an A five lines above the staff so crisp and clear that if you're not careful may actually cleave your conductor's brain clean in half. It's highest note is one only dogs can hear, that composers have dubbed "X."
Apart from the oboe, this is the only instrument able to kick a field goal of pain right between the goal posts of your unfortunate target's neurons, resulting in synaptic misfires, blown mental fuses, and a complete breakdown of all left brain activity, leaving the right brain to writhe in pain and confusion whilst scrambling all bodily motor functions. Any soul unlucky enough to wind up on the business end of Beezulbub's piccolo will instantly be reduced to the fetal position and revoked of their right to free will.
Aside from violating several Geneva Convention protocols, this wailing weaponry can produce frequencies that wreak havoc upon others by causing:
-- sudden unexpected nosebleeds
-- aphasia
-- heart palpitations
-- aneurisms
-- loss of sanity
-- unexplainable rage
-- spontaneous combustion
-- abandonment of the will to live
-- anal leakage
It's a common mistake to think that the piccolo also has side effects on it's user. Many claim it causes acute narcissism, but in reality the only people drawn to this instrument are already delusionally narcissistic, have serial killer tendencies, and show traits as promising future dictators.
Since I'm livin' the dream, I'm retiring from my reign of terror and passing on the torch. Being evil is an arduous, exhaustive effort, and this musical scepter cannot be played by your average whitebread vanilla villain. Only the most cunning, dextrous, morally ambiguous, and questionably sane may apply. Who among you is worthy?

twenty questions for fic writers
tagged by @tiltingheartand ✨
how many works do you have on ao3? 390
what's your total ao3 word count? 1,106,734
what fandoms do you write for? Mostly 9-1-1 at this point. I also write a few times a year for Shadowhunters and Teen Wolf. I've dabbled in Stranger Things, Criminal Minds, and Lone Star. Then the occasional femslash pairing for other fandoms haha
top five fics by kudos:
one of the few things (9-1-1 (TV)) - 2,147 kudos
It Started With A High Chair (Teen Wolf (TV)) - 2,035 kudos
you've got me surrounded (9-1-1 (TV)) - 1,667 kudos
Calculated Risk (Teen Wolf (TV)) - 1,599 kudos
we made these memories for ourselves (9-1-1 (TV)) - 1,415 kudos
do you respond to comments? I used to be so good at responding to comments, but then I write a bunch of fics in a row and get too overwhelmed with comments which leads to my inbox currently in the 400s 😅
what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I have one (1) MCD fic, When the World Stops Turning, that I wrote for Shadowhunters. And then I have a serial killer Reid fic called Bad Blood Always Wins where he tortures Hotch for a little and does not end happy but it's also one of my favorite fics ak;sldjfasd
what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? The other like 350+ fics of mine have happy endings. I am a happy ending slut. But my fluffiest, happiest fic has to be What's Easy is Right which is all fluff, no angst buddie.
do you get hate on fics? I have a few times in the past, but nothing I even really remember at this point.
do you write smut? I used to write smut with ease but it doesn't come so easy for me anymore ;aldkjfasd So, yes and no I guess.
craziest crossover? I wrote a 9-1-1/You crossover for Sadie called A Good Man which was so fun to explore. I also did a Criminal Minds/Teen Wolf crossover for kinktober which was hilarious to me, A Fulfilling Partnership.
have you ever had a fic stolen? Once that I know of. You can still find it on AO3 because it's changed just enough that AO3 doesn't agree. 🤷🏻‍♀️
have you ever had a fic translated? Yes! Our Heartbeat, an RJS Shadowhunters fic, was translated into Magyar.
have you ever co-written a fic before? Only twice before. I want to get into doing it with my wife, but we're not sure how to start ;asldjf;asd
all time favourite ship? This is an impossible question. And I refuse to believe that any writer can actually answer it.
what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I have a 6a Sterek rewrite that's constantly swirling around my mind. I also have a steddie fic where they meet via Dustin making them both have radios and they only communicate through that without knowing who the other is.
what are your writing strengths? I feel like I'm really good at characterization. I try really hard to keep my characters as close to canon as possible even in AU situations.
what are your writing weaknesses? Doing. It? No, seriously, I have a hard time just putting the worlds onto paper or like, writing a rough draft. Everything has to be perfect on the first try so that often leads to not writing at all.
thoughts on dialogue in another language? I don't speak another language, so I try to keep dialogue in other languages to what has been heard in canon and/or like a word or two.
first fandom you wrote in? Officially, Shadowhunters. But I used to write like fucking Jonas Brothers fanfiction back in the day, then Larry fanfiction after that.
favourite fic you've written? I think I'm most proud of tell me what’s worse (losing you now or later?) even though it's a different fic than I thought it was going to be.
For 9-1-1, I also love More to the Story and he is your heart (and you are his).
For Shadowhunters, I love An Unlikely Angel and Love, Loss, and Pride.
For Teen Wolf, Born out of Magic and the entire series How the Scene Should Have Gone - Sterek Edition.
For Stranger Things, Like Looking at the Stars.
For Criminal Minds, My Happiness Is With You or Fixed With a Nap.
Tagging: @bytheangell, @brasscacti, @bigfootsmom, @ anyone else who wants to do this cause I don't know usernames off the top of my head alskjdfl;as 😅

He doesn’t look like a killer, is Wilbur’s first thought upon seeing Tommy Innit outside of a picture for the first time. It’s a bit silly, really. Hardly anyone looks like a killer, they just are. The fact that the file they handed Wilbur filled with Tommy’s many, many crimes is as thick as Tubbo’s school-folder’s (troublemaking and academic achievement both) should probably be a tip-off. Albeit, never once was the severity of Tommy’s previous crimes even close to the one he’s committed now. Mostly a variety of petty theft, vandalism, and trespassing. A fairly recent arson case stuck out to Wilbur, though.
Unlike most people, Tommy does not stop his journey for the satisfaction of clean teeth just because someone else has entered the room. The only difference is that his eyes no longer focus on the hand half in his mouth, rather Wilbur’s footsteps toward the table.
Wilbur struggles to conflate the teenager desperately trying to scrape green from his teeth with the murder he is accusing Tommy of. He remembers photos of amateur graffiti in the files, just words like BIG MAN INNIT or, embarrassingly, BUY SCHLATTCOIN. He thinks of a school photo; the last one Tommy seemed to have ever taken just four years ago, a 13 year old mid-laughter. Even now, Wilbur looks and cannot imagine him as anything past this display of ordinary that just seeps into odd. Luckily he doesn’t need to imagine. He knows.
As Wilbur sits, he asks, “Do you want a toothpick?” He is attempting to sound ordinary as well. He has to sound normal, even if the man who was murdered was something to him. Wilbur is normally sent in for tasks like this, and his friend being the victim makes it no different. Dream was close to most everyone in this precinct. Wilbur is just the best man for the job. Dream himself has teasingly called Wilbur “a master manipulator”. Wilbur does not disagree, though he does not exactly like the title. Regardless, he always accepted it with a grin. At least it makes him useful. Words are his only weapon, and by God, he’ll use them to lock Dream’s killer up.
“Nah, ‘akes out the ‘allenge,” the guy says, muffled from the fingers in his mouth. “No ‘un in it, yeah?”

Bad Skunk | New Years Short Story ENG
Junky: Let’s pound mochi to celebrate the new year ♡
AK: I’ve brought the necessary tools.
Spring: Woah, you’ve got a real life mortar and pestle! That looks heavy, I’ll help you carry it.
Junky: No need~! I’ve got it all under control~!
Neru: Who gave the god of destruction a murder weapon? AK?
YP: He said he wanted it, so I bought it online.
Cherry: It’s troubling having so many mindless and lenient people surrounding Junky.
YP: …Who’re you talking about?
Neru: You.
AK: Back to the matter at hand, we don’t have the mochi ready yet.
Spring: Ah, so it’ll be a while before we can get started. We’ll still need to soak the sticky rice in water first.
Junky: What a total vibe killer~.
AK: We can’t just use regular rice? Better yet, we could go and buy some mochi…
Cherry: Has your level of intelligence really dropped that far?
YP: I’ll try looking for some kind of substitute. I think something like gummies could work.
Junky: Stupendous idea~~!
AK: Will anything work?
Spring: As long as it’s something soft…yes, I think it should.
Cherry: Just what exactly do you plan on feeding to us?
Neru: Count me out. I don’t feel like demolishing my stomach so early in the new year.
Junky: Nope, there’s no running away. Participation is mandatory ⋆

Audrey Rose Headcanons;
Tumblr media
Summary; my disney descendants Princess Audrey Rose headcanons.
👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸
Audrey's full name Is Audrea "Audrey" Fae Rose.
I got the idea for her middle name from @askauradonprep on their middle name headcanon thing where they said her middle name is Fae to honor the fairies that raised her mother.
Her birthday is August 3rd.
The above would make her a Leo.
She was raised primarily by her grandmother alongside her older cousin, Ariana.
She's scared of alot of things-- not being perfect, messing up, rejection, disappointing everyone, being abandoned, etc.
She hates spiders, which is one of fhe few physical things she is scared of.
She's very insecure despite what most people think.
Ariana is two years older than Audrey and becomes Leah's golden child after Audrey and Ben's breakup. Mainly because she's dating a prince-- Artie Pendragon.
Both Audrey and Ariana can be pretty nasty towards one due to their jealousy and upbringing.
The two of them use to be close when they were younger but grew apart over the years.
Audrey has two pets-- a bunny named 'Zinnia' and a horse named 'Solomon.'
She's younger than Chad by a month.
Her first word was 'Grammy'.
She plays multiple instruments, including but not limited to the flute and the piano.
Ariana plays the violin too but she's much better at it than Audrey is.
Her favorite colors are pink, white, and pastel blue.
She has a whole collection of cutesy shoes and sunglasses. Not to mention make up.
The reason why her hair is blonde in d3 was because she had it dyed on her spa trip so she looked more like Mal did at the time to appease her grandmother and as an attempt to win Ben back.
She ended up regretting it because she missed her natural hair almost immediately after she did it but it was too late to go back by then.
She is made to do community service (mainly just cleaning up the mess that was made during the queen of mean thing) and to go to therapy after d3.
She ends up going to both family and singular therapy and even has a couple of therapy sessions with Chad.
And eventually, she ends up apologizing for not clarifying exactly what their relationship was to Chad before going on to apologize to Ben for not listening to him enough and to the others for her various transgressions against them.
And they end up apologizing to her as well for their own transgressions against her.
Like in royal wedding, she offers to plan Bal's wedding but Jane helps her a bit and for once, Audrey allows her to.
Her and Chad continue going to therapy, slowing sorting out their issues and learn how to form non toxic relationships with each other and others.
After d3, Audrey's parents get more involved with her life and begin to put their foot down more often with Leah when it comes to Audrey and Ariana.
This makes things go alot smoother down the line and helps both girls become functioning adults.
And it definitely shows, especially when it waters down their somewhat bratty and competitive attitudes as they grow.
Audrey's favorite song is Killer Queen by Mad Tsai, ironically.
Audrey is great at drawing, as seen in d3, but she's not too good at painting.
She's a great swimmer and she and the others use to hang out at the enchanted lake and the beach alot before life got too hectic.
She's been raised since birth to be the perfect queen and wife, which explains alot of her issues when you think about it.
In the friend group of the main aks (Doug, Jane, Ben, Lonnie, her, and Chad), she's always been closest to Chad. Even before their group started to drift apart.
Audrey's a good actor which can be seen when she pretended not to care that Ben had dumped her for Mal after 'did I mention ' in d1.
She's great at ice skating, skating, and gymnastics. Oh and public speaking.
She's a fast texter.
Audrey loves cute things-- especially animals.
She is a beauty queen who's good at cutting hair and doing make up, and planning out outfits. Unsurprisingly.
She has a large following on all of her social medias and loves traveling. Though she unfortunately doesn't get the opportunity to travel very often due to her responsibilities.
She has a thing for bad boys though that doesn't outweigh the affection she held for Ben.
Oh and she's not allergic to anything.
And the older she gets, the more she regrets how she acted towards the vks and others around her.
She feels extremely guilty for how she treated Chad during d3 and ends up avoiding him for awhile afterwards.
And unfortunately that's all the headcanons I have for her for now. Enjoy everyone.

(SLIGHT SPOILERS FOR ARKHAM KNIGHT)
I’ve started playing Arkham Knight, and here’s my thoughts so far (I just got off Stagg Airship and have headed back to the GCPD)
(I’m also aware that there’s a prequel game, but I don’t have access to it, so I’m just coming in blind.)
I can see why it’s a popular game, the transitions are really well done, not to mention the fact that Scarecrow is the main bad guy. I was spoiled for who the Arkham Knight was, but even if I wasn’t I feel like it’s very obvious if you’ve been in that particular section of the fandom, which I am. I’m not ready for the reveal though, that’s gonna hurt so bad.
Also can we have a shoutout to Bruce who is literally hallucinating the whole time. Not only is he dealing with the dead haunting him (which was very well done btw), but he’s dealing with Riddler, Firefly, Manbat (or some version, I haven’t pursued that yet), Scarecrow and Arkham Knight, AND a serial killer. Not to mention various side tasks. All in one night (as far as I’m aware). This man needs a nap and to be left alone for a month. And a therapist, he really needs one. B however does need to learn how to accept help from his family.
I also always appreciate it when a game manages to make you feel with the character. It’s so easy for me to distance myself from video game characters, but so far the Batman games have made me feel what they feel without even trying, I applaud.
Overall I can see why it’s a lived game, but I still love Gotham Knights the most, AK still needs to convince me that it has the right to the top of the list.
