what fandoms do you write for? Mostly 9-1-1 at this point. I also write a few times a year for Shadowhunters and Teen Wolf. I've dabbled in Stranger Things, Criminal Minds, and Lone Star. Then the occasional femslash pairing for other fandoms haha

do you respond to comments? I used to be so good at responding to comments, but then I write a bunch of fics in a row and get too overwhelmed with comments which leads to my inbox currently in the 400s đ
what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I have one (1) MCD fic, When the World Stops Turning, that I wrote for Shadowhunters. And then I have a serial killer Reid fic called Bad Blood Always Wins where he tortures Hotch for a little and does not end happy but it's also one of my favorite fics ak;sldjfasd
what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? The other like 350+ fics of mine have happy endings. I am a happy ending slut. But my fluffiest, happiest fic has to be What's Easy is Right which is all fluff, no angst buddie.
do you get hate on fics? I have a few times in the past, but nothing I even really remember at this point.
do you write smut? I used to write smut with ease but it doesn't come so easy for me anymore ;aldkjfasd So, yes and no I guess.
craziest crossover? I wrote a 9-1-1/You crossover for Sadie called A Good Man which was so fun to explore. I also did a Criminal Minds/Teen Wolf crossover for kinktober which was hilarious to me, A Fulfilling Partnership.
have you ever had a fic stolen? Once that I know of. You can still find it on AO3 because it's changed just enough that AO3 doesn't agree. đ¤ˇđťââď¸
have you ever had a fic translated? Yes! Our Heartbeat, an RJS Shadowhunters fic, was translated into Magyar.
have you ever co-written a fic before? Only twice before. I want to get into doing it with my wife, but we're not sure how to start ;asldjf;asd
all time favourite ship? This is an impossible question. And I refuse to believe that any writer can actually answer it.
what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I have a 6a Sterek rewrite that's constantly swirling around my mind. I also have a steddie fic where they meet via Dustin making them both have radios and they only communicate through that without knowing who the other is.
what are your writing strengths? I feel like I'm really good at characterization. I try really hard to keep my characters as close to canon as possible even in AU situations.
what are your writing weaknesses? Doing. It? No, seriously, I have a hard time just putting the worlds onto paper or like, writing a rough draft. Everything has to be perfect on the first try so that often leads to not writing at all.
thoughts on dialogue in another language? I don't speak another language, so I try to keep dialogue in other languages to what has been heard in canon and/or like a word or two.
first fandom you wrote in? Officially, Shadowhunters. But I used to write like fucking Jonas Brothers fanfiction back in the day, then Larry fanfiction after that.
favourite fic you've written? I think I'm most proud of tell me whatâs worse (losing you now or later?) even though it's a different fic than I thought it was going to be.
For 9-1-1, I also love More to the Story and he is your heart (and you are his).
For Shadowhunters, I love An Unlikely Angel and Love, Loss, and Pride.
For Teen Wolf, Born out of Magic and the entire series How the Scene Should Have Gone - Sterek Edition.

Writer sign-ups for the Shadowhunters Reverse Bang 2024: Presented by the Malec Discord Server are officially open!
Writer sign-ups will close on May 16, 2024 at 8:00pm EST. That gives you two more weeks to read the rules, the FAQ, and the schedule to convince yourself to join.
We are so excited to bring back another year of artists taking the reins, and writers finding inspiration with their incredible works.
You might be asking yourself, what is a reverse bang? The Shadowhunters Reverse Bang is a collaborative fandom event that combines fandom talents! Artists create never-before-seen art that writers will find inspiration in and create an entirely new story based off of, and together, they create magic.
Who can participate? In order to participate in this reverse bang, you must be a part of the Malec Discord Server. You must be over 16 to participate and over 18 to create explicit works.

General Rules:
You must be part of the Malec Discord Server to participate in this event.
You must be over 16 to participate and over 18 to create explicit works.
All content must be brand new and never before posted to any forum. All content must be polished and finished. No unfinished works or WIPs that you plan on continuing later will be accepted. Works that are added chapters/continuations of previously published works are not permitted unless they can be viewed/read as a standalone.
All AI content is prohibited.
Artists are asked not to talk about their projects until after claims with anyone participating in this event to keep writer claims fair.
All content must focus on Shadowhunters universe characters.
All Shadowhunters characters/ships are accepted. OCs/borrowed characters will be accepted as minor characters.
AUs and crossovers are accepted as long as the Shadowhunters characters are the main focus.
Content of any rating and subject matter is accepted, but participants must make sure to include any relevant warnings and properly tag their work.
No blatantly hateful content of any kind.
Artists must communicate readily with their assigned writer and vice versa. This is a collaborative effort and writers must be open to the ideas the artists have. The same courtesy is asked of artists.
When you sign up for this event you are making a commitment to yourself, the Mods, and your future partner(s) to meet all posted deadlines and to communicate with the Mods and your partner(s) regularly. Please donât sign up for the event unless you are confident that you can fully participate and be honest with yourself about what you can commit to.
Please respect the Mods and anyone working with you throughout this event. Certain complaints may disqualify you from this event.
The password to make sure you understand all rules is SHRB24. Remember this when you sign up.
Writer Specific Rules:
Writers must write a minimum of 4,000 words to participate in this event. There is no maximum limit but please keep in mind the time constraints of this event.
Writers are expected to be respectful of the artistsâ ideas, likes, dislikes, and rating preferences. Writers are expected to be in contact with their artist about specific changes/ideas they might have along the way.
Writers must base their fics off of the art prompt they claim. For example, if the art features Clary as an art student, the fic should not be Malec-focused with Clary attending an art school in the background. The fic should be primarily about Clary being an art student.
Writers signing up for the event may not get their first pick when assigned art. Please be mindful of this! Ending your commitment because of this is not permitted and if you feel this will be an issue you should not sign up for the event.
Plagiarism and AI content will not be tolerated. All content must be the writerâs own original work.
Artist Specific Rules:
Artists must create at least one finished project and no more than two finished projects for this event.
Accepted forms of submitted art include:
Digital/physical art: 1 piece, 500px minimum
Photomanipulation: 1 piece with significant editing
Gifsets: 4 gifs (without watermarks)
Moodboards: 6 graphics
Video: 1 minute
Playlists: 10 songs and a graphic
Abstract art/line art, original songs, and poems will also be accepted as long as the prompt given to accompany it gives a clear picture for the writer.
Artists are expected to be respectful of the writerâs ideas. Artists are expected to be in contact with their writers about specific changes/ideas they might have along the way.
Artists will need somewhere to host their work so that it can be embedded on AO3.
Plagiarism will not be tolerated. If you are in need of stock images for your project please make sure that they are open source and that you provide the proper credits and sources. For gif creators using online gif makers, please remove watermarks before posting.
AI art is strictly prohibited.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I have to be a part of the Malec Discord Server to participate? All continuous communication for this event will be provided in a special category in the MDS. This includes all announcements, reminders, and ongoing requirements. If you want to join but donât want access to the entire server, you can be given a Discord role based on your role in this event so the rest of the server is not accessible to you.
Sign-ups havenât closed yet but Iâm so excited about this challenge and really want to begin. Can I start working now? Artists are free to begin their piece(s) as soon as they read through the rules and requirements! Writers, unfortunately, will have to until they are matched with an artist, but we appreciate your enthusiasm for this event!
Can I sign up for more than one role? Absolutely. Many bang participants sign up for multiple roles as long as you believe you can complete all pieces before the assigned deadline(s).
What if someone doesnât have a match? In the event that the art prompts outnumber writers, we will do several rounds of claiming so that every art prompt has a writer. If writers outnumber art prompts, we will open up the art prompts so that more than one writer is assigned to the same artist or ask artists if they are interested in completing more art. Every artist will be matched with at least one writer and vice versa.
What if Iâm matched with an art prompt/partner I donât want? The Mods (and most artists) would never want someone to create something that makes them uncomfortable, so if there is an art prompt that you donât want to be matched with, donât choose it during claims.
If you have any legitimate concerns about a partner (i.e. harassment or rude behavior), we ask that you please notify the Mods. Intervention by the Mods will not occur simply because of disliking story/design choices or the content theyâre producing. Mods will not allow any rude or dismissive behavior by any participant. Please just be nice and work hard to help each other.
Can I repost old art or reuse/add to a WIP? No, All content must be brand new and never before posted to any forum. More on this in the rules.
What if Iâm not around when claims occur? Claims will span three days and will not be on a first come first serve basis so as long as you are able to submit your interest in those three days, chances are youâll be matched with one of your top three choices.
What if Iâm not positive I can finish within the deadline? When you sign up for this event you are making a commitment to yourself, the Mods, and your future partner(s) to meet all posted deadlines and to communicate with the Mods and your partner(s) regularly. Please donât sign up for the event unless you are confident that you can fully participate and be honest with yourself about what you can commit to.
What if something comes up after claims and I need to drop out? We understand that dropping out due to unforeseen circumstances can and will happen. We are/have always been very understanding when this happens and are willing to work with you. The quicker you let us know, the more options the Mods have.

So I wrote a little something loosely based on this post I made about Eddie subconsciously associating his future wedding as being with Buck- I haven't written for ages but I thought if I was gonna make it into a fic I'd also have an accidental drunk confession to Buck in there- and this is that. If I ever wrote a whole fic of this there'd be no cheating so dw dw
"It must be nice," Buck says from the floor, "Marr-Marriaging, -having a wedding. I want that, I'd want-"
"I know what you want," Eddie laughs confidently from the empty tub. It feels very zen, lying here with his legs hooked over the circular tub, like lying inside a big cereal bowl. He is so drunk, and giddy and totally at peace with everything, "You want a spring wedding because you want a frankly ridiculous amount of flowers. You want it far enough away from the city that you can see the stars at night, but not so far that it'd cost too much for everyone to travel there. You like the idea of releasing lanterns but you're worried about the environment so you'd probably want - like- doves or butterflies instead-"
"Butterflies," Buck says from the floor, his voice thick, "Eddie, what-"
"M'not finished," Eddie continues with the gravitas of someone so hammered they cant feel their legs but who is nevertheless making an Important Point, "Butterflies, then. You want a light coloured suit, something that breathes well because you'll worry about sweating. Bobby would be doing the ceremony, so maybe Athena to walk you down the aisle? And of course Maddie as your best man. Woman. Person."
"⌠Maddie?"
"Well yeah," Eddie shrugs, transfixed by how the ceiling seems to be slowly tilting to the side, "Because Chris would be mine, and that way they can both be involved."
There's a frantic shuffling noise from the floor, and Buck's voice is much clearer when he speaks again, "Eddie. Eddie are you talking about- me and you getting married?"
"Who else?" And in his alcohol-soaked state, it's as simple as that- who else. God knows he's tried to fit other people into that role and they just never fit right because the void in his life is so decisively Buck-shaped. Haha, God knows, his chest begins to shake with silent laughter, it's funny, right? Because of the Catholicism.
"And that's-" Buck sounds kind of upset, which makes Eddie pause, why would Buck be upset when there's good booze and the ceiling is tilting and they're getting married? "That's something you want- the-the spring wedding and the butterflies and the-"
Oh, Buck's simply misunderstood, that's easy.
"I just wanna be the guy standing next to you."
