Short Prompt #2
TW: None!
"Why?" Hero breathes out incredulously. "Do you keep following me everywhere, to the point that you're becoming exclusively the only criminal I fight? Do you really hate me that much?"
Villain crosses the street, destroying any space between them. They let out a soft, musical laugh as they tilt the crime-fighter's chin up with a gloved hand, forcing them to meet their gaze. "Maybe little hero, it's because I don't."
They revel in the almost confused look colouring the crime-stopper's features and the bright red flush highlighting their face as they slowly short-circuit.
"I love you," they whisper, voice velvety and passionate, their lips almost brushing the hero's ear.
Hero's heart had never beat faster. They never knew it was even capable of reaching such a speed.

“And just where might you be off to?” Villain’s voice cooed from behind Sidekick, a cold trickle sent down their spine as they shivered, “I uh-y-I…I swear I-”
“I-I-,” Villain mocked, taking a step closer, leading Sidekick to be pressed up against the door, “Darling,” Villain cooed, leaning in close as they tilted their head, “Do you not enjoy staying here?”
A sob caught in Whumpee’s throat as they tried to speak but they couldn't form any words. “What’s the matter, darling,” Right Hand crooned, raking their hand through Sidekick’s hair- who jumped, not noticing their advance on them. “Cat got your tongue?”
And suddenly, the gentle touch in their hair turned into an iron-tight grip as they tightened their fist, slamming Sidekick’s head against the door. Sidekick cried out, their hands flying up in an attempt to claw at Right Hand’s grip but there was no use. Villain nodded once at Right hand and took a step backwards;
“I know you think you belong to Hero, you think that’s who you belong to, but let me make one thing very clear,” Villain was practically shaking from anger, seething as they watched Sidekick begin to fight against Right Hand's grip. The sound of the switchblade opening made Sidekick freeze up.
“You don’t belong to anyone else but Right Hand and I. We own you, not Hero, not Civillain, not anyone,” Villain stepped closer, their knuckles white as they gripped the handle of the knife. “Nononono-”
Right Hand had managed to move behind Sidekick, pinning their back against their own chest as Villain advanced towards them. Sidekick cried out, tears streaming down their face as they thrashed against Right Hand, “NO-nonono ple-please ‘m so-sorry-” They sobbed, “I di-didn't mean- I-”
A sob erupted from their throat as the cold metal blade traced lightly along their ribs, the other froze, shivering and trembling as they squeezed their eyes shut. “Oh darling,” Right Hand cooed, playing with Sidekick’s hair, soaking in how they trembled, “We’re doing this for your own good.”
Sidekick jolted as the blade slashed once across their chest. Right Hand tightened their grip, “We’re doing this because we care about you,” They soothed, “You belong to us.” The knife next drew a long red line just below Sidekick’s collarbone, making the other yell through gritted teeth.
Villain lightly traced the knife up along their collarbone, up up up their neck, smudging a glistening red streak along their skin from their previous wounds. The knife stopped just under their chin, forcing their head up. Sidekick shook with a sob but slowly blinked their eyes open, a tear immediately falling as their eyes met with Villain’s.
“You belong with us,” They whispered, their voice making Sidekick shiver, a whimper escaping their throat.
“You belong to us and only us. Sidekick-” They slowly tucked a short curl behind Sidekick’s ear and Villain smiled gently, “We are the ones for you. You're made to be with us. We would do anything for you.”
Sidekick slowly cringed back into Right hand but they nodded.
Villain gently brought their hand against the cut along Sidekick’s collarbone. Sidekick bit their lip, holding in a cry as Villain slowly leant in and spoke quietly, “Who do you belong to, dove?”
Sidekick whimpered, tears streaming down their face as they rasped out but eventually spoked, “Y-you guys- o-only you guys.”
Villain’s eyes sparkled with delight and Right Hand smiled, gently massaging Sidekick’s scalp, “Oh, well done, Honey, we’re so proud of you.” Sidekick sobbed as all they could do was lean into the soft, gentle touches. Villain pocketed the knife quickly and cupped Sidekick’s face gently, their thumb brushing along their cheekbone, “I know it's hard, I know, dove. But here with us is where you belong, with us.” Sidekick wanted to fight, everything in them told them to resist. But this is where they belonged.
With them.

Massage
Hero thrashed in their bonds, desperate to get free.
“Come on, Hero,” Villain reasoned, “I haven’t done anything to you yet.”
“You kidnapped me, that’s enough!” Hero snapped, “I don’t plan on sticking around long enough to find out what else you’re going to do to me!”
“I don’t think you have a choice in the matter,” Villain said with a laugh, “now hold still.”
Villain produced a syringe from their pocket. Hero froze in their seat, their eyes widening.
“Get that thing away from me!” Hero yelled, thrashing once again.
Villain ignored them, stepping closer until they and Hero were mere inches apart. They tilted Hero’s neck, despite their struggles, and injected the contents into their system. Hero cried out as the needle was inserted.
“What did you just give me!?” Hero asked, a touch of panic creeping into their voice.
“You’ll find out soon enough,” Villain said with a grin.
Hero continued to try to get free, but their movements were weaker and more sluggish for some reason. After about a minute, Hero could barely move at all.
“Wha-” Hero started.
Villain smirked and started to free Hero from their bindings. Hero slumped forward in their seat, Villain caught them before they could tumble to the ground.
“Muscle relaxer, Hero, and a pretty strong one at that,” Villain explained.
“You son of a- ack!”
Villain swept Hero up into a bridal carry and laid them on a table on their stomach, making sure their head was turned to the side. Villain took Hero’s arms and folded them in front of them, resting their head on top of them.
“Oh, this isn’t degrading at all,” Hero said.
“Relax, Hero, I’m not going to hurt you,” Villain paused, “well, this might hurt, but it’s your own fault if it does.”
Hero felt Villain put their hands on their shoulders. They made slow, circling motions with their thumbs, applying the smallest amount of pressure.
“Gosh, you are tense,” Villain said.
Hero was confused. Was Villain doing what they thought they were doing? Hero didn’t have time to question it, because Villain gradually increased the pressure until Hero couldn’t help but cry out.
“Villain!” Hero said through clenched teeth.
“I told you it was your fault if it hurt,” Villain said, “you shouldn’t have let it get this bad, why do you think I kidnapped you in the first place?”
Villain kneaded Hero’s shoulders, working out all the knots, with the occasional cry of pain from Hero. Eventually, they moved up to their neck, working out the tension there as well. Then Villain continued down to Hero’s back, and that was where a lot of the trouble resided. Villain spent a good twenty minutes massaging Hero’s back, which was both painful and relieving for Hero. When all was said and done, Villain turned Hero on their back so that they were looking up at them.
“Better?” Villain asked.
“Well, considering you gave me a muscle relaxer beforehand…”
Villain gave Hero an incredulous look.
“Yes,” Hero admitted, “it’s much better.”
“That’s what I like to hear,” Villain said.
Villain picked Hero up again and carried them up the stairs.
“Wait,” Hero said, “now what are you doing?”
“You thought you were just getting a massage, Hero?” Villain asked, “no, it’s straight to the hot tub for you, then you’re going to sleep in a nice, soft bed. And don’t even think about trying to escape, I have plenty more muscle relaxers.”
Hero laughed and let themselves be carried down the halls to the hot tub. They should get kidnapped more often.

My beautiful wife wanted something a little more intense… @save-the-villainous-cat

Cold Blooded
Villain pounced on the hero, pushing them down against the lavish bed in a fit of giggles and rushed kisses. Hero’s hands met behind the villain’s head as they pulled them close, this time for a deeper more passionate kiss.
It was the embodiment of heaven on earth.
The criminal let themselves be hounded by their lover, gently tracing their sides enough to tickle them out of their wits. Salvaging the laughter that followed suit and the way Hero’s irises glimmered in the sunlight when their eyes met.
As the moment evolved, so did the mood. Soon enough what started out as an innocent love fest turned into something more… intimate.
Not that either of them had any problems with it, in fact it was a nice change of pace. After so many late night shifts or deployments out of town, the two of them were finally back together and their flame was reignited all over again.
Hero’s hands began to wander, unbuttoning the villain’s shirt with care while the other focused on stripping them both down to their underwear as fast as possible. Their personalities clashing before they smiled against each other’s lips and returned to making out.
One thing was for sure, Villain wasn’t going to let any of this time go to waste. Any instance they got with the hero had to be cherished, since their lines of work didn’t check out.
It was already bad enough that they were supposed to be fighting each other on a daily basis, but when Supervillain showed up in town and began to wreak their havoc—not only against the heroes but villains too—it was getting too much, too quickly.
Unfortunately, Villain had ended up on the wrong side of Supervillain’s knife one too many times and their body was beginning to take the toll. Next time they would meet, Supervillain promised their death wouldn’t be quick.
Even thinking about it now ruined the villain’s mood, but they swore not to let it get in the way of their time with their Hero. The other had been patching their wounds almost every night from the abuse they were enduring, so these rare nights of love and carelessness weren’t to go unnoticed.
“Take my hand?” Hero sighed, relishing in feeling the villain’s skin hit theirs for the first time in months.
Villain only hummed, lacing their fingers through and through as they began to kiss their way down the hero’s body. Lathering it in praise with every pec, a beautiful contrast to their free hand that was slowly crawling its way between Hero’s legs, gently rubbing the soft spot between their thighs.
The criminal relaxed as soon as their lover’s moans reached their ears, that feeling of fulfillment flooding their heart when they realized they still had their touch. Hero seemed equally as pleased, blotchy red patches beginning to cover their exposed skin as their back arched.
It was one thing to picture the sight, it was another to live it. The crime-stopper was absolutely intoxicating and their beauty made the villain’s head buzz.
At this point it was just muscle memory, knowing every spot to make the hero scream, fingers kneading at the sensitive skin with a newfound fervour and their tongue working wonders on their sensitive chest. Every movement was synchronized for the hero’s best enjoyment and Villain loved every reaction they prompted with the simple goal of pleasure.
Hero’s phone rang.
The lit up screen buzzing on the nightstand, singing it’s programmed tune as it interrupted the pair. Villain stopped, both of their attentions fixated on the device, the criminal barely had time to read the caller’s name before Hero promptly snatched it and declined the call.
“Who was that.”
It wasn’t a question, Villain already knew.
“No one, baby. No caller ID or whatever, shall we continue?” Hero’s voice picked a soothing tone, though it was obvious they were hiding something much bigger behind it.
“Hero. Don’t lie to me.”
A beat of hesitation sounded before the crime-stopper spluttered to continue. Maybe Villain could’ve fallen for it if they hadn’t read the name, but it was doubtful. Hero was too easy to read.
“Why is Supervillain calling you.” They scanned the hero over again, catching all the telltale signs of their nervousness. The shift in their demeanour and the unease in their tone, closing themselves off from the villain, lying to their lover.
“Sweetheart, I promise it’s nothing—”
“Don’t fucking lie to me. I saw their name. I saw the contact, don’t lie to me.” The villain was shaking now, anger, betrayal and fear coiling in their gut as it slithered up their throat. Tightening around their lungs, making it hard to breathe.
Hero grimaced, dropping the act and they had the audacity to look ashamed. Yet if the villain hadn’t caught them they’d have been impartial to breaking the fundamental rule of a relationship. “They have information we need. My work needs—”
“Oh yeah, sorry I must’ve forgotten because your work is more important than anything else, right?” Villain laughed, tears already brimming their eyes as their scars started to pulse with a phantom pain, with memories that haunted their every waking second if they could get any salvation in their dreams.
“Villain, it’s not like that.”
“Then what is it like? You exchange numbers with my personal torturer for fun? For shits and giggles?” The world was starting to spin at an unnatural angle, turning Villains stomach along with it. “They used me, Hero. They abused me and they still do. Meanwhile you’re over here having casual conversations with them over the phone? Like you’re friends?”
“If you would let me talk for more than one second, I could explain it to you.”
Villain burst out in amusement this time, using it to cover up the way they hurt as the tears poured down their face. “Oh, I think I’ve heard plenty from you.”
As quickly as their hands could work, Villain was fixing their outfit, pulling their pants from off the floor and fixing each button on their shirt until they looked acceptable enough for the public. Keeping as much distance between themselves and the other while they did, ignoring Hero’s panicked pleas.
“After everything, Hero, I thought you of all people would care the most. Clearly, I was mistaken.”
Never again, Villain promised as they burst through the front door.
Never. Again.

Part one
Hero is sitting on the hardwood floors of the living room, as they pass another block to their baby.
She takes it with a giggle, stacking it atop the other ones. Hero can't help but grin at how much this activity is entertaining her, and them as well.
"She's getting good with those blocks."
Hero jumps at the sudden sound of Villain's voice behind them. They must have snuck in through the balcony again. Villain comes and sits next to Hero with an annoying grin.
"You need to stop sneaking up on me like that! And you need to stop breaking in." Hero exclaims, shoving Villain's shoulder.
Instead of immediately responding, Villain feigns hurt.
"Ow! Not in front of the kid, what are you teaching her about hitting?" Villain teases with a snicker before answering seriousness. "You can't come out and fight with me anymore -"
"I have an infant to take care of."
"-I understand why, but that just means I have to come annoy you here now." Villain finishes like Hero didn't interrupt. Hero rolls their eyes at this. They've been coming regularly now for the past few months, never knocking, just letting themselves in. So irritating.
The baby crawls across the floor to where both Hero and Villain sit, having forgotten about her blocks. For a moment, Hero thinks their child is crawling to them until she makes a beeline for Villain. Not surprising, Villain has quickly become a favorite for the young child.
'Betrayed by my own kin.' Hero thinks quietly, shaking their head.
Hero can't pretend they haven't been of help, though, with how they seem to so naturally know how to care for the baby. Hero still wonders how they know so much about child care, but Villain won't divulge. At the very least, the extra pair of hands has taken some burden off Hero's shoulders.
They watch as Villain reaches for her, another one of those rare genuine smiles on their face they only ever seem to show while here. Hero tries to ignore how it makes their heart beat faster.
"You're getting so good at crawling." Villain coos, picking the baby up gently. "At least someone is happy to see me here." Villain says humorously.
"I bet it's the only time anyone is happy to see you." Hero replies, though their tone isn't as serious, and they scoot closer to Villain.
"Heh, probably." Villlain shakes their head, still smiling, though as they hold the baby.
Hero feels the same questions burning in the back of their mind again, curiosity eating them up from the inside. They know Villain is unlikely to answer and will dodge the question again like always, but Hero can't help but ask.
"Are you a parent, Villain?" Hero's voice is quiet as they ask, soft as they bring up the subject. They've never asked so directly before, and for a split moment, they think they see a flash of sadness on Villain's face.
Before they can respond, though, the baby makes a noise, spitting up directly on Villain's shirt. Hero immediately comes and takes the infant into their arms.
"I'm so sorry!" Hero's voice is apologetic, as they look to make sure their baby is okay. Villain is unphased, though, as they smirk.
"Don't worry about it." They look to how she immediately smiles up with those chubby baby cheeks and dimples at both of them. "She thinks that's funny. You're raising a little mini villain, Hero." Villain's voice is full of amusement. Hero rolls their eyes as they stand.
"I can wash that for you if want, I think I have a spare shirt in about your size." They offer, still feeling bad. They set the baby in her play pin as they lead Villain through the house to their bedroom. Hero paws through their dresser until they find the shirt.
Turning around, they find Villain is already removing their own shirt, and Hero tries not to pay attention to the curve and contour of their toned body. Flushing red, Hero thrusts the shirt in their direction, averting their gaze.
Villain takes it, chuckling at their reaction.
"You really don't have to apologize. You have an adorable kid." Villain's voice is softer than normal.
Smiling gently, Hero nods. This is something they both can agree on. "Yeah, she is."
"I have no idea where she gets it from." Villain continues, teasing in their tone evident. Hero pushes their shoulder in retaliation.
"I happen to be adorable as hell."
Villain takes Hero's hand and pulls them close. "You're just hot. There's a difference." Their voice is low and rumbling.
Stomach fluttering, Hero can't help the heat rising up their neck. This has also been happening frequently, Villain's teasing and flirtatious comments. Hero can't tell if they actually mean it or are trying to get a reaction.
Hero doesn't know how to respond, always replying to their teasing words with flustered laughter or deadpan replies. When they don't respond, Villain continues speaking.
"I'll come back later to return your shirt." Their voice still has that playful air, but they look a little dejected. They turn to presumably climb back out the balcony like a maniac.
Before they can think otherwise, Hero grabs them by the elbow, their skin soft and warm under theirs.
"Wait- you don't have to leave." Their voice is still sounding flustered as they speak in a rush. "You should stay. If you want.."
Villain's resulting smile has their heart quickening. "I couldn't say no to spending more time with my favorite ankle bitter. Or to annoying you some more." Their voice is light and joking as they head out of the bedroom, back towards the living room.
"Have you ever thought about having any more?" Villain asks suddenly, as Hero follows after.
They haven't really thought about this. The kid they have now is already a handful, but the mental image of a big family is an endearing one.
"I haven't really thought about it," Hero says, picking their infant up from her pen. "Why do you ask?"
Villain leans in close, offering a finger to the baby. They smile as she grabs it, before looking up to Hero's eyes. Their gaze is full of warmth and amusement, and something else that gives Hero butterflies. Villain's voice is warm and flirtatious when they speak.
"We could have some cute babies."

Prompt #584
"For some reason, I can't explain. I find myself very attracted to you," [Hero] frowned at them, their eyes pinning [Villain] to the spot.
"Oh, uh..." they flushed.
"It's very strange," [Hero] continued, "You hold none of the traits I typically find attractive in others. Such as your general personality, appearance, and moral standing."
[Villain] felt their face flush hotter with a mix of embarrassment and anger, "Well, if you're just going to insult me-"
"I don't mean it as an insult. It's simply a fact. That something about all of these strange characteristics has combined themselves in a way that endears me to you."
[Hero] took a step closer to [Villlain], "tell me, why are you so attractive to me?"

you'd think the real deuteragonist of Miraculous is Chloé with how much time they spend focusing on her
Yeah like I think Chloé gets about as much screen time, plot relevance, interaction with Mari, and character development(for better or worse) as Adrien.
And whether you have her as a proper reformed Hero or keep her as the Dark Magical Girl Rival, that would work.
But to have her what she's become of just a very pathetic moron villlain....

Would you do a continuation of short prompt 42? With the supervillain and villain and kid hero? I come with gift 🍿🍿
Part One
Villain leaned back in the kitchen chair, sharpening the blade of their knife with long, careful strokes. Rain pattered on the windowpanes, and the vague remains of steam in the air made the kitchen feel warm and cozy. It would have been nicer without the snakelet lying in the other room.
That little menace better not wake up.
Villain tapped their foot evenly against the floor and checked the wall clock for probably the third time since Supervillain went out, about an hour ago now.
“Will you just be nice to them when they wake up?" they'd requested. Then, at Villain's annoyed brow raise, "Not...nice, but at least civil? I have a meeting with Other Supervillain, and I don't want them scared off while I'm gone."
“You’re leaving?” Villlain hated the little note of panic edging in on their voice. This was a baby hero after all. Nothing they couldn't handle. It was an insult to their own skills to be so worried.
Of course, Supervillain caught it, and of course, instead of pointing out the silliness, they indulged it. “Do you want to come with me? I suppose we could leave a note.”
Villain's stomach coiled.
“I’m not leaving them alone in my home. I’ll stay.”
And so they had. Stubbornly. Bitterly. Anxiously.
There was just something about having an enemy in their safe space that made the thought of facing them so much worse. It would have been different running into them mid-heist or out on the street.
They rechecked the clock. Minute hand on the 3. An hour and fifteen minutes. Supervillain must be walking back by now, right? Did they remember their umbrella? That rain looked like it was picking up.
“Hi.”
Villain's whetstone slipped.
A horrible grating sound broke the smooth, monotony, and Villain''s arm narrowly escaped being sliced open along the knife's edge only to bash the rounded stone directly into their knee a second later.
Villain yowled, cursing loudly.
"Sorry!" Hero held up their hands in an apologizing-warding motion. Their hair was pasted flat on one side, while the top poofed up in a mess of fluffy tangled curls. "That's my bad."
The villain only responded with a vicious glare, and the little hero winced. At least that was a little satisfying.
Hero swallowed, wetting their lips and curling their fingers in and out of their palms for a couple seconds before carefully pushing on.
"Where's...um..."
"They went out. Villain stuff."
"Right. Of course. That's their job. Your job. Your jobs."
Awkward discomfort twisted their face in several directions, one part of them making an effort to be nonchalant and the other part panicking. Clearly, they hadn't thought through the type of person they were crashing with or how it involved them ethically when Supervillain invited them in.
"That it is," Villain said coldly.
Hero cleared their throat. "I really wasn't expecting...anyone else. Did Supervillain call you to watch me or...?"
"I live here."
"Oh. Oh! I'm sorry! I don't mean to crowd your space. It's just Supervillain said... And I was so tired... And they never mentioned..."
"Stop blathering. It's grating on my nerves."
Hero's mouth snapped shut with an audible clack.
Villain sighed, sliding their knife back into its sheath and striding stiffly across the room to tuck the whetstone back in its drawer. All the while, Hero's big, pathetic eyes watched them move, rising prickles on the back of their neck and being generally annoying.
"What?" Villain snapped.
"Nothing!" They paused. "Are you guys like…”
Hero didn’t seem to know how to finish that question, but their fingers twined together in some resemblance of togetherness.
“Yes.”
“Oh. Cool. I didn’t know that.”
They shoved their hands in their pockets and stared intently at the floor beneath their feet. It was subtle, but Villain noticed the tips of their ears going a light pink.
Minute hand on the 4 now.
Come on, Supervillain, where are you?
They didn’t know anything about entertaining kids , or talking to kids, or anything to do with kids. Especially not a super powered hero kid that could bend them in half with their pinky and may or may not be part of a bigger plot to take them down.
Hero raised their eyes nervously. Their cheeks were pink too. Villain was definitely paranoid, weren’t they?
Villain cleared they throat.
“Apparently, now that you’re awake, I’m supposed to direct you to the soup on the stove.” They motioned lazily to the covered pot and then waved at the cupboards. “Bowls are on the left.”
“Thank you.” Hero shuffled to find a bowl, and for the first time Villain noticed that they were wearing the blue and purple spandex of their Hero uniform.
“Why did you even come here?” Villain said.
Hero cringed, ladle hesitating over their bowl. “I didn’t know what else to do. It was cold, and I was tired, and the offer was right there, and…and…you guys are going to kill me, aren’t you?”
Villain blinked. Soup was spilling over the edges of the ladle. The kid was shivering. Were they more scared than they were letting on?
Villain tried to imagine being an abandoned kid taken in by their enemies. It was hard enough having one in their safe space as an adult.
“We’re not going to kill you,” Villain said. “Supervillain made you a whole stew. They think you’re adorable.”
Hero bit their lip and nodded, quickly finishing filling their bowl and sitting on the farthest end of the table. “I mean…I wasn’t worried at first, but…”
But Villain.
Yeah. They were lucky Hero was stout enough not to have run off by now. Supervillain would have kicked them to the couch.
“Don’t you think your agency will be upset? You’re not being very subtle.”
Hero followed Villain’s finger down to their costume.
“I, um, didn’t have a change of clothes. And they’re mad anyway, right? So…how much more bad can it get?”
They smiled weakly, but Villain knew forced calm when they saw it. Villain wouldn’t press that direction further.
“What happened to your clothes?” they asked instead.
“Well, they were in my dorm, but the agency froze my keycard, and they say I’m suspended from the premises so I can’t pick them up. I-I get it.”
“Over a few buildings?” Villain said in disbelief.
Maybe they said it little heatedly because Hero stared at them with surprise and tension written in their eyes.
“Well, those buildings cost the agency a big chunk of money, and I’m really lucky no one got hurt, so I really just should be thankful it’s only a suspension.”
“Is that what they told you?”
“It’s…it’s what I think.”
Oh really?
“Alright,” Villain shrugged. “You destroyed a lot of buildings. You maybe put people in danger. That’s not exactly recommended. At least from a hero’s standing. But come on, you tore an entire building from its foundation and threw it. Your agency has to at least appreciate your strength. It’s incredible.”
Hero averted their eyes to their soup. Maybe they were uncertain whether they should be accepting the compliment of a villain. “Thank you…”
Villain nodded.
Maybe they could buy them a couple new outfits. Just so they wouldn’t have nothing when they finally convinced Supervillain to turn them out.
As if on cue, the front door hinges squealed, and Supervillain’s confident stride sounded in the hall, pausing in the living room a moment before continuing on to the kitchen.
“Oh good!” Supervillain’s eyes sparked intensely, like a shock of lightning bolts in a blue blue sky. Their coat clung damp on their shoulders and a few strays locks pasted against their temples. “You two met!”
A load of tension Villain hadn’t even realized they’d been holding suddenly dropped from their shoulders.
“We’d already met,” they corrected.
“You know what I mean. How were they, Hero? Were they mean? Did they bully you?
Hero’s relief was almost just as obvious as Villain’s own, a small smile quirking their lip. “No. They were…nice.”
Supervillain’s eyebrows shot up, and they’re eyes tried to catch Villain’s gaze.
Nope. Villain wasn’t doing this. Time to redirect the conversation.
“How was the meeting?”
Supervillain slid into the seat beside Villain, sprawling their legs and sliding halfway down the chair back. “Ugh. Boooring. Other Supervillain is way too direct. ‘Kill them.’ ‘Blow this up.’ There’s no showmanship!”
“You and Other Supervillain are having a team up?”
Villain and Supervillain turned toward Hero at the same time. The little scrap huddled a little closer to the tabletop. They looked like they wanted to disappear.
“Don’t you dare say—“ Villain began.
“You can tell the agency if you like,” Supervillain interrupted with a shrug. “It’ll make it more interesting.”
Hero’s eyes flicked nervously between the two of them. “I don’t have to if—“
“Hero.” It was the same tone Supervillain used on Villain when they were in one of their panics. Firm but warm. “Don’t worry about what you see or hear around us. You are safe here. No matter what.”
Villain held back a biting remark. They weren’t so sure about Supervillain’s promises, but that was probably something to discuss privately. At least the hero looked a little looser. But now they were looking at Villain like they were expecting an answer from them as well. What did the want from them? A hearty welcome and a slap on the back?
Villain cleared their throat. “Yeah. You’re…safe.”
Hero’s weak smile grew a little stronger, and Supervillain smirked.
Ugh, it wasn’t like it was a declaration of friendship or an acceptance for indefinite housing or anything like that.
It just…wasn’t a lie.

Short Prompt # 11
TW: Blood, restraints, murder mention, injury, captivity
Not edited
If Hero had hit rock-bottom before, this was infinitely worse. They vividly remembered the cold metal connecting with their skull, making spots dance in their vision till their world faded to a pitch black abyss of utter silence, the pounding headache they were suffering a testament to that.
Their arms were bound tightly behind their back, the thick rope unwilling to relent to any efforts of escape, only chafing against the crime-fighter's skin, reopening poorly healed cuts. The gag shoved into their mouth rendered their throat dry enough to rival a desert. Their legs felt like they were made of lead, and their muscles were on fire. They'd gotten themselves thrown into hell, it seemed.
The door creaked open, letting a sterile, white light blind the hero as it snuck into the awfully dim room. They cursed through the gag because every time that door opened, their torture was renewed, their wounds slowly reopened again.
Except instead of one of their many tormentors, their sworn enemy, Villain, stood face to face with them.
Unlike the hero's pathetically miserable state, the villain looked immaculate, untouchable. Their dark hair hung in loose curls, and their clothes were pristine and very soft-looking. They looked like they'd just stepped straight out of the salon, and Hero hated it with a burning passion.
"If I take out the gag, you'll behave?"
The look in Hero's eyes had already delivered the desired message more effectively than a thousand filthy swear words would.
The villain had the decency to finally cave in and slice through their restraints and pull the gag out of their mouth.
"Come on, let's get out of here."
When the hero didn't follow suit, they turned back to them, arms folded across their chest, and they raised an eyebrow at them. Always one for theatricality.
"I can't walk," Hero whined pathetically, fixing the villain with wide, adorable, manipulative eyes.
"Your legs aren't broken," they snapped.
"You try walking normally when you've been restrained for weeks!"
Villain scooped them up against their chest effortlessly. "Keep this up, and I'll bloody well murder you," they growled
"You'd miss me too much," the hero purred, tracing the curve of their jaw in a featherlight caress. Even when they were covered in dirt and blood, they still managed to send shivers up the criminal's spine.
"Wait." The crime-fighter's tone suddenly sobered up, making the villain stop in their tracks. "How do you expect to just waltz out of here with me in tow?"
The hero was usually the brains of the operation, but the villain wasn't too dull either. "I killed them all," they said softly, face flushed with embarrassment.
"Tu as tué pour moi? Tu es vraiment mon autre moitié," they whispered in awe.
Villain never really understood anything Hero said in French, but it sounded so alluring, they loved listening to it anyway.
"I just didn't know what you'd think of me," they answered sheepishly.
"What would you think if I told you I've always had fantasies of someone killing for me?"
"I-I'd kill a thousand more if I had to. They can't hurt you and expect to walk away from it unscathed," they snarled.
Hero pressed a kiss into their nemesis's temple, their mint-scented hair conditioner hitting them like a kick to the ribs.
"I'm going to spoil you so bad, you'll forget all this even happened," the villain promised.
"I'd want nothing more, mon amour."
"Finally, I understand what you're saying!"
The hero laughed, soft and musical, and it set the villain's heart on fire.
Hero had always been the one fixing up Villain's messes, stitching them up in the middle of the night and trying to save them from their path of self-destruction. This time, they could finally let someone else take care of them, let the weight fall from their shoulders, close their eyes, and finally feel safe for once.
To find someone that holds you in the highest regard, that knows your value and isn't afraid to show that to the world is a blessing without a price. To see your soul reflected in someone else's eyes is the most beautiful way to spell out the word 'love'. Et quand je pense de l'amour, c'est ton nom qui est toujours dans mon coeur.

Cw: brought to emergency room / sidekick reffered to as kid but is 19
Part one
---
Hero cursed under their breath, their heart sinking as they looked at Sidekick, full of worry, “Hey, nonono, you're not weak, buddy! You-” Hero’s vocie cracked as they tried to push down a sob, they ran their hand gently through Sidekick’s curls, “You're one of our strongest on the team, kid, so don't for one second doubt yourself, okay?”
Sidekick’s eyes filled with tears, they whimpered before nodding fast, “Th-th’nk y’...” They rasped. Hero smiled shakily before looking up to Henchman, blinking hard, “Ge-get medic, and uh-uhm…” Hero’s brain was blank, they were stressing. Sidekick’s wound looked baaaad and they needed to get to it fast before they bled out. Their hands shook as they quickly ran their other hand through their own hair, letting out a shaky breath, “Te-tell Medic to get sorted in the va-van…I’ll carry Sidekick to the van. Get them to patch Sidekick up and I’ll drive us to the hospital.”
Henchman nodded fast, “Yes boss,” before running out of the warehouse as fast as possible. Sidekick whimpered, “N’h- no hospi-hospitals,” Sidekick whimpered, their voice hoarse. Hero shushed them quietly, their hand gently scratching Sidekick’s scalp, “I know you don't like them, buddy, but we need to get you there and fast. Now let's get you up, we need to go to Medic.” Hero got back up to their feet, eyes studying Sidekick before nodding to themself, “Alright, this is gonna hurt a bit, bud, but it will all be worth it, I promise.” Hero gently put their arms under Sidekick, lifting them up into their arms and cradling them in almost a bridal carry. Sidekick let out a cry, their whole body freezing up as the pain lit up, “Pro-pr’mise?” They whimpered, looking up at Hero with tears in their eyes. Hero’s soft eyes met with theirs and they spoke softly, “I promise.”
Sidekick nodded and Hero started walking out of the warehouse. They tried to be as careful with Sidekick as they could, but there was worry filling them that they weren't going to catch it on time. Hero could've collapsed with relief when they saw how Henchman had moved the van so it was closer to the warehouse’s exit, saving them some time. The back of the van was open and Hero gently placed Sidekick down inside, “Patch them up the best you can,” Hero ordered, sweat rolling down their face at this point.
Medic nodded, before looking up at Hero, “Hero.. You're looking pale, I think-” “Nono, nothing about me right now. We need Sidekick patched up,” Tears slowly started to fill their eyes, “Please…” Medic looked at Hero with full Sympathy before nodding fast, “Warn me when we go over speed bumps, I don't want to mess up the stitches.”
Hero nodded fast, “Thank you so much,” They sighed before closing the door shut and hopping into the driver’s seat of the van, a pounding headache starting to bloom in the back of their head. They turned the keys in the ignition before driving as fast as they could towards the hospital, “Tha-thank you for bringing the v-v…va’...hn- van closer.”
Henchman looked up at Hero, worry littering their face, “Hero…your stutter…” “‘M f-fff-f…fi-fine,” Hero waved them off, eyes focused on the road ahead of them. But Henchmen knew they weren't. They had worked with Hero long enough to know that when Hero’s stutter came back to them, it wasn't good.
When Hero was a kid, they used to have a stutter. They had managed to get rid of it but now if they ever got anxious to the highest level, it came back and it never ended well. But henchmen knew better than to comment on it.
“They’ll be fine, Hero, you know how stubborn the kid is,” Henchman chuckled, feeling a little relieved when they saw a soft smile on Hero’s face, “Y-yeah… They’re str-strong, I know they’ll make it.. i-i-it's just…” Henchmen smiled sympathetically, “I know, I know, I’m nervous too. But they're in good hands.”
“Y-yeah, Medic is one o-of the b-be-b-best medics I know, th-their qualifications a-are-” “Not just that, Hero… they have you.”
Hero’s eyes left the road for a moment, looking at Henchman with confusion, “Me?” Henchman smiled, “You. I know how much you care for the kid, I know you will do anything and everything you can to save him.”
Hero smiled shakily, blinking hard as their hands shifted on the steering wheel, “Tha-thanks Henchman… for everything.”
The drive to the hospital was luckily not too long, Hero pushed just a little over the speed limit so they could get there faster than they wanted to. The second they pulled up outside the hospital, Hero leapt out of the van, rushing to open the back of the it. Henchman helped Hero lift Sidekick out. Sidekick only managed à weak whimper, their face covered in sweat, dangerously pale. Hero’s stomach churned but they quickly moved inside, hugging Sidekick close to them as they whispered gently to Sidekick, “It's o-okay, bu-buddy, you're gonna be ok-o-okay.” Medic then took over for Hero, both them and Henchman holding Sidekick while Hero rushed to the reception.
“H-help, st-sta-st-st-st….” Hero squeezed their eyes shut. The receptionist sighed, putting down their pen before looking up at Hero, “Stabbed?” Hero clenched their jaw, the word stuck on the tip of their tongue, “St…st…stabbed,” They sighed out, finally relieved to get one fucking word out.
“Alright, hun, I’ll need you to fill in this form and-”
“Nonono, ble-bleeding out, you-you ha-ha-have’t’ he-he-h…hel- he-hhh….-” Hero slammed his fist against the desk, growling in frustration. Henchman and Medic had luckily caught up, Henchman placed a gentle hand against Hero’s shoulder, “Hey, hey, want me to take over?” Hero blinked hard but nodded fast, taking a step back so Henchman could stand where Hero previously stood.
“We have a 19 year old, stabbed around the ribs. Medic managed to stitch it up but it's still bleeding and Sidekick seems to be just about clinging onto consciousness-”
Hero carded their hand through Sidekick’s hair, whispering to them gently, “Y-you're gonna be okay, Sidekick.” Sidekick leaned into the touch weakly, their voice just audible, “Pro-promise?” A tear slowly rolled down Hero’s cheek, “Promise.”

Dandelions and Control Pt. 2
Warnings: Past Trauma, Past Sexual Abuse, Past emotional Abuse, Language, forced marriage.
Pt. 3
❀•°•═════ஓ๑♡๑ஓ═════•°•❀
"I wanna make a deal."
Hero looked up from where she standing, she was out in the balcony in her new room since the two newly wedded couple wouldn't and didn't want to share a room.
It was a fairly large, bigger than her room in her apartment, that was for sure. There was very large walk in closet which was empty, except for her clothes which only fit in a small portion in the whole closet.
The bathroom was also nice, there was a nice big tub, a jacuzzi, a elegant glass shower with a mirror and decent looking decorative things. The curtains were clear, showing the shower itself. There was also a bench in between the sinks and the small table and baskets for laundry and other accessories.
The bedroom itself was pretty amazing. The bed large enough for atleast five people, the pillows soft and fluffy, the sheets silver and black. The walls painted a light shade of gray with black lamps. The windows were fairy normal with black curtains, along with a small balcony.
Fair to say was that she would never run out of material things.
"What?" Hero asks in confusion, turning to him.
Supervillain slowly walks inside the dimly lot room, staring at Hero who stood right in the light of the moon. She looked beautiful. He shook these thoughts away and moved around the few boxes in the room that still weren't unpacked.
He then joins her on the balcony, staring at the dark night sky. The airspace was clear, except for the fact that it was lit with stars and a few clouds were floating above.
The moon was full, and it was a view Hero would not forget. She had never seen the moon in such a pretty position, considering, her bedroom was on the second floor of a mansion.
She turned to him, frowning. "What deal?" She questions, snapping him out of his thoughts.
Supervillain clears his throat. "I wanna make a deal with you, Hero." He turns to her, choosing his words carefully. "I know that this.....marriage.....is not what you want, me either for the fact but both of us are now married. The treaty will not change, nor will it stop it. It was futile,"
"Is there a point to all of this?" Hero asks, letting out a sigh. She twiddles with the jewelry on her hands and wrists, eager to have them off along withe the dress and heels.
Supervillain stares at her, glancing away and clenching his jaw. "Look, I know we don't have the best relationship but I do believe in marriage, and know I do not like cheaters nor do I like divorces." He states.
Hero looks away but still listens carefully. "I would never cheat, even if this marriage is against our will,"
Supervillain slowly nods. "Look, our marriage is just a show for everyone, we'll keep our end of the bargain... for a few months before we start attacking." He shrugs, leaning against the railing. "Not that the Heroes could stop us since your not there anymore, you were clearly the brains. They gave you away, their loss, our gain."
Hero cracks a small smile.
Supervillain smiles back at her, although it doesn’t reach his eyes. He looked tired, like he had aged a millions year up. He wasn't the same conceited, laid back, cold, full of amusement villain that she knew. He looked like a guy who had lost his freedom.
Still, Hero listened carefully.
"Our..." Supervillain starts, hesitatinly. "...relationship. It's not ideal with me being a villlain and you being a hero. But I don't want our relationship to be disastrous either,"
"Then what?" Hero asks, she then proceeded to take the gloves off since they were bothering her. The cold air felt nice against her bare arms, the gloves had been long and reached past her elbows.
"We should have a mutual respect for each other, in public and in...private." He trails off, shifting in his stance. "Although this may not be what we want, I want us not to hate each other. We will have respect for each other, but don't try to stop me from doing villain stuff, nor will I stop you from doing anything you want."
Hero stares at him before slowly nodding. "Trust me, I have no intention to stop you or the other villains, not anymore." She says bitterly, looking away.
Supervillain stares at her, surprised.
She glances at him. "Don't look at me like that, he abandoned me. I couldn't see it before, maybe because I was so blind, but Superhero was never trying to help me." She swallows hard, fisting her hands. "He left me. He betrayed me. You and your friends can do whatever you want," she looks away.
Supervillain frowns as he watches her. He didn't like Superhero, no scratch that, he hated his nemesis. But now seeing the fight leaving Hero's eyes, he felt pure hatred for Superhero.
Hero glances at him. "I won't stop you. What else?"
"You can have whatever you want," Supervillain tells her, looking out in the distance. "Nothing can put a dent in my bank account, so you can buy whatever you want. Do whatever you want,"
"I'm not a material girl." Hero mutters with a shrug. "But okay."
Supervillain bites his lip, letting out a sigh. "I can't promise you that you'll be happy here, but I will try to make you happy. And," he adds hesitatinly. "You will be protected here. I will always protect you,"
Hero frowns and looks at Supervillain.
He looked like he was remembering something. His eyes were cast in the distance, in a daze of some kind. It was like he was in a memory of some sort, remembering something.
She didn't say anything. Unlike other times, the silence between them was comfortable. Hero could distinctively remember when she and her team used to get captured by Supervillain, her team would do the talking with Supervillain.
She would usually say silent, but she could always feel his eyes on her. Always.
...............
"You know you'll never win," Leader smirks, he may have been handcuffed like his teammates and on his knees but that did nothing to conceal his arrogance.
Supervillain only stared at him, his eyes raised and cold amusement on his face. He leant back his desk in his office, staring at the team of Heroes.
Leader was in front of them, on his knees since he was the main hero. Other Hero, Other Hero 2, Youngest and Hero were in the background, stood behind their so called Leader.
Supervillain could see that Other Hero was glaring at him, her eyes narrowed with disgust. She was trying to discreetly break free but she couldn't, and she was doing a bad job at it.
Other Hero 2 was also trying to break free, in his gaze was arrogance. He kept looking back ans forth between him and Leader, his lips pursued.
Youngest looked scared, however she did well to hide it, a futile attempt since she was shaking with fear but it was honorable.
The only smart person on the team, from what Supervillain could gather, was Hero. She had stayed silent and had been observing everything silently, looking around and she wasn't trying to break free. A smart move on her part.
She didn't look scared, she instead looked annoyed, she looked absolutely done with her Leader. But for some reason, she had stayed silent and instead watched her Leader babble stupid stuff.
Supervillain was starting to like this Hero. Every time he saw her, she had stayed silent and was always observing everything. She was smart and intellectual. Something he could tolerate.
"And why pray tell, will that happen?" Supervillain asks, cocking his eyebrow.
Leader grins. "Because villains are always destined to lose. Our organization will come for us."
"Like hell they will," Supervillain heard Hero mutter under her breath. He raised his eyebrows, a smirk growing on his face.
He looks at Leader. "Hmm, you may be leader but your not the brains, no, your too stupid for that." He rolls his eyes.
Leader clenched his jaw, glaring at him.
Supervillain looks at Hero. "You however, unlike your incompetent team, look smart enough." He smirks. "Tell me, do you think you'll get out of here."
Hero blinks. No one ever talked to her, she was only ever a background hero. She hesitatinly glances at her leader.
"Why are you looking at him?" Supervillain asks. "I asked you the question. Not your dumb leader."
"Hey!" Leader protests. "I'm the team leader, not her!" He snaps, clenching his jaw.
Supervillain raised an eyebrow. "Really?" He mocks with a chuckle, he glances around tye room at his people. "Because here I thought the hero organization tasks the smartest people as the leader, not the dumbest. Look like I was wrong," he shakes his head. "Because to be honest, she looks like the smartest."
Laughter rang around the room.
"Sweetheart," Supervillain says turning to Hero. "You didn't answer my question." He raises an eyebrow at her, leaning back and crossing his arms.
"No, I don't." Hero answers.
"Hero, what the fuck?" Other Hero asks with a glare.
Hero ignores her. "We can't escape because at the front of your lair you have a two key system which can only be opened by your recna scan, your eye scan to be specific. And most, or well, all of your guards have a gun which is a MG3 Machine Gun, which can be dangerous." She nods to the guards.
"Your lair also has a set of traps, the staircase has a sensitive system which can determine if someone is running and can, therefore turn into a slide or trap them with a net." She explains.
Her team gawks at her.
"Each door in your lair has a lock with a pin, which we do not know. All the windows are probably, most likely, locked and even if they are unlocked, they will most likely hold a trap of some sort. Your guards also carry stabs which guess also have a lightning shock or taser in them which can be used to shock people. Your guards also know how to fight with a sword due to their marks, they have calluses on their hands, I have the same calluses. Your also too smug, which can mean you can fight each of us and defeat us easily. And this room, I'm betting, has a touch system too." She smiles. "Each hallway also has a camera, which can also help you to see us if we mayhe even escape, and that is a hard maybe."
Everyone stares at her, one of the guards shifts uncomfortably.
Henchmen stares at her, his lips parted, he looks around before looking at his boss.
Supervillain stares at her, his gaze cold before he smirks with amusement. He slowly brings his hands up and together and claps, an impressed look on his face.
Leader stares at her, his eyes wide with shock while Youngest stares at her with awe. Other Hero stays silent but she gulps. Other Hero 2 stares at Hero, his eyes wide.
"Was I right?" Hero asks, raising an eyebrow. She smiles at Supervillain, leaning back on her feet.
"I knew you were the brains. I knew you were smart but not at this point," Supervillain grins, he stands up and goes to stand in front of her, impressed. "And yes, you were right." He whispers.
Hero smiles.
He slowly raised his hand and caressed her cheek, looking into her eyes. "How would you feel to join me? I could certainly use you on my side." He asks, his tone gentle and soft, his eyes boring into hers.
Hero stares at him, her cheeks heating up but she composes herself.
"The fuck?" Other Hero asks, looking wise eyed. She looks at Hero with a glare.
"Hero...." Leader glares at her, why couldn't she have stayed silent?
"Tempting, but no." Hero backs away, narrowing her pretty eyes at him. "Never in my life."
Supervillain pouts. "I've never been rejected before, hmm, oh well." He shrugs. "Maybe next time," he winks. "I'll see you soon, Hero, along with your dumb team." He smirks.
"Hey, we're right here!" Other Hero 2 snaps.
"Oh," Supervillain breathes. "I know. See you next time, Hero." He smiles.
............
There meeting may have not been ideal but she had certainly caught his eyes, he had been impressed with her from the beginning. He had observed her.
Unlike other Heroes, she didn't judge villains based on what they did. She didn't care if they were a villain or not, she helped them no matter what. And she didn't do it for the glory.
Supervillain looks at her. "I'll leave you too it," he says before turning around and walking out of the room. The door closed behind him.
Hero sighs and looks back at the sky, her eyes flashing with contempt.
Would this be her life now? Living with the city's most dangerous and notorious Supervillain? Being married to him? Why would this even matter?
Would they even care? No, she supposed not. She didn't like him, not that much, but she tolerated him better than the other villains. He might have been dangerous and a killer, but she knew him.
Unlike other villains and supervillains, he had morals. No innocents or children involved. She knew that because she had seen it firsthand, she had kept an eye on him. He was somewhat....good.
That felt weird. Saying he was good.
Hero shakes her head, no, she supposed she wouldn't ever get used to it.
Being married to Supervillain, she guessed would be a nightmare. She swallows hard, she's always hated crying, she thought it made her weak.
Stop crying, it's weak.
Weak people, cry, Hero. Are you weak?
Stop. Crying!
She heard Superhero's voice in her head, along with the familar slash of the whip. She still had the bruises.
It was all her fault. The bruises were all her fault, every failure, every time she failed. Every time she was weak. Perhaps Superhero was right, she had to keep Supervillain happy so he didn't attack the city.
But nothing could stop the Villains. Would Superhero blame her? Would he hurt her again? Would he punish her?
But he couldn't. She would be protected here. But what about everywhere else? Was she still technically a Hero?
Why was all of this so confusing? She shakes her head and decides to sleep on it. After changing of course.
....
The next morning when she gets up and gets ready, she walks down the stairs to see in the living room, Henchmen on the sofa.
He looked busy with paperwork around on the table. She looks around, seeing that the mansion was empty. She spots a few maids cleaning and setting stuff up but no one else.
"Morning." Henchmen tells her with a smile, he grabs hid glass of what wither seemed to he bourbon or whiskey and took a sip.
"Morning." Hero answers tightly, she plays with the short white dress she had on. The sleeves were short and ruffled and the length was just aobe her knees, she wore matching white heels. "Where's Supervillain?" She asks, sitting across from him.
She sees a maid bring out a plate with a croissant and a chocolate chip muffin with a large cup of coffee. "Thank you," she smiles kindly at the maid.
The maid only nods fearfully.
Hero watches her go with a frown, she turns back to Henchmen.
"Supervillain was called on urgent business." Henchmen smiles at her awkwardly. "He left super early in the morning, he'll be back in a week."
"Oh."
"Yeah." Henchmen smiles. "Sorry about that.":
"Why be sorry? It's not like we like each other," Hero shrugs and picks up the muffin.
Henchmen slowly nods, however a frown grows on his face as he watches his boss' wife eat her breakfast. He knew that the two didn't really, well, like each other. I mean, they were enemies of course. On opposite sides.
But that wasn't the case anymore. No, it wasn't. Hero was married to Supervillain now. That meant she was on their side, on his side now. Probably.
That meant that they would have to get along. Henchmen wasn't thinking like romance and stuff, not yet anyway. Maybe get along like friends or something like partners, but they would have to get along.
He wondered what would happen in the future?
Only time could tell.
"What's your favorite flower?" Henchmen all of a sudden asks.
Hero raises an eyebrow.
"What?" Henchmen shrugs. "I'm saying if we're gonna be family and shit like that, we should get to know each other."
Hero stares at him for a few seconds. "Dandelions. I like Dandelions." She smiles. "White is my favorite color."
"Gray is mine,"
"Obviously." Hero snorts.
Henchmen laughs. Yeah, he has a feeling that wuth Hero here, things will be looking brighter already.

Request to continue Teacher Hero?
Only if you want to!
Please and thank you! 💖
Honestly, this has been one that has wracked my brain for a while! Due to that, I think I may have made this a bit long…but I hope you like it! 💕 Thanks for the request!
This is a continuation of my Hero Teacher prompt here
“You know…you really need to stop doing this.”
“If you let it leak, the water bill will be horrendous. Trust me, I know.”
The mechanic's dolly Villain laid on, made a sharp creek as they shifted position and grabbed some kind of adjustable wrench (one that Hero had never seen before…then again they were shit at home repairs) from the tool box. Villain’s head and shoulders were not visible from Hero’s vantage point, so they inclined themselves to speak with Villain's black jean covered legs instead.
Their favorite pair to wear while working the plumbing system, as Hero had come to learn these last few weeks.
Hero tapped their finger on the kitchen counter, “I’m not talking about the sink.”
“Well, I’m working on the sink,” came Villain’s easy and muffled reply.
“Yes, I can see that.”
“Then, as this is the current activity I am doing and you are actively watching me do it, one would assume that the plausible topic of conversation, when begun under such prerequisites, would be about said activity..ie the sink.”
“And I’m not talking about the sink.”
“Then I’m confused.”
Hero huffed in frustration and ran a hand through their hair.
“Stop being obstinate!”
The resulting chuckle from under the caverns of the counter just served to irritate Hero more.
“Obstinate! That’s a big word. Does your class know the meaning of it yet or are you breaking out the SAT words now that you have a chance to talk to an actual adult?”
“For someone whose crotch is sitting dangerously close to my stomping foot, I'm hearing a lot of sass.”
“Fine, fine, point taken. What ARE you talking about then?”
Hero had to think. Honestly. What were they talking about? The home and classroom repairs? The strange new repertoire between the two of them? The fact that Villain had found out their secret identity in the first place?!
“All of it.” They finally conceded.
The torquing of the wrench stopped.
“All of what?” Asked Villain in a falsely innocent voice.
“All of THIS!” Hero gestured around their own kitchen, knowing Villain would pick up on the fact even if they couldn’t see from under the sink.
“Wha…” Hero didn’t let Villain finish.
“THIS! The home repairs, the classroom windows, little Stacy’s bike, Mrs. Santori’s 1998 Avalon…”
“Didn’t realize you knew about that one…”
“Of course I knew! Teachers of the same grade tend to go to the same meetings, dumbass. What else am I to make of her muffler and AC suddenly working again?”
The scraping of the wrench started again.
“Her mechanic is a con artist…Worked with him a few times actually…was going to charge an arm and a leg…”
“That’s not what I’m asking!”
“Then what are you asking?”
Hero had enough.
Leaning over the sink they stomped their socked foot down on the mechanic's dolly right between Villlain’s legs. Using the leverage, Hero viciously rolled Villain out, leaning over so their eyes met while Hero’s hands rested on either side of the sink and their entire stature loomed over them.
It would have been an intimidating pose, had Hero not been in a loose t-shirt, sweatpants and have their hair falling all over their face. Villain had shone up right as Hero had put on some comfortable clothes to cook in.
Villain, for their part, looked shocked for only a moment before replacing the expression with a more condescending and vexing one.
“I’m asking,” Hero said slowly, letting the intimidating tone they only used while hero-ing seep into their voice, “why?”
“Why.” Villain repeated.
“Why.” Hero confirmed.
They stayed that way in silence for a moment. Neither one attempting to break eye contact.
In a sudden movement, Villain brought the wrench they were still holding up to Hero’s face, stopping just short of their nose. Hero didn’t flinch.
“That,” Villain said easily. They moved the wrench the last inch, gently booping Hero’s nose. “Is a story for another time.”
Hero rolled their eyes, straightened and reached their hand down to help Villain up.
“What I think is more important right now, is not the ‘why’, but the ‘who’.”
Now it was Hero’s turn to try and look innocent.
“I don’t know what you mean…”
Villain threw the wrench back into the toolbox with a loud clang.
“Of course you know what I mean!”
“That’s not…I mean…It’s not relevant,” Hero stammered.
“Oh!” Villain walked closer to Hero, effectively backing them into the kitchen island. “It’s not relevant that one of the very precious students you dedicate so much of your life to..is Supervillain’s daughter.”

Someone pointed out that the only villain the heroes managed to truly defeat in 5 seasons was Chloe and she barely even counts as a starter villlain. Pretty embarrassing lol.
The narrative is a joke
