Part 4
.....................
"Oh, dear."
Hero scrambled all around her apartment, her eyes narrowed as she went into a frenzy.
Her beautiful black dress clung to her curves, with short sleeves, an off shoulder design and showing her collarbone and shoulders. A slit was near her right leg, for more access to kick and fight if needed. Her hair was open and curled, since she looked better when it was free. Hee makeup was neat, nude and neutral.
Nothing over the top. It was just classical and elegant.
Hero scrambled around as she put on her heels, glancing at the clock. She might be late by a few minutes, but then again, it's not like anyone else would be. She quickly put on the Black platform heels, a series frown on her face.
She sighs, patting her skirt as she let out a deep breath. Shaking her head, she quickly grabs her clutch, her invite and her keys, quickly walking out of her apartment and locking the door.
.......
The gala seemed so boring and peaceful, with every hero and villain talking rather calmly.
Hero sighs, walking around with a flute of champagne as the hard-drive felt heavy in her clutch. She looked all around, looking for any familiar face.
The walls and colors were gold and shallow, showing the power and wealth the hero industry had. Along with the many. The chandeliers were all lit with candles.
Many tables were set around the sides, with different appetizers that were sweet, sour, spicy and exotic. A few mini bars were also around the room, with barmen shaking their drinks and laughing heroes and villains alike.
The gala was a way to keep the villains tame, to keep the heroes good. It was supposed to show the true nature of how the two sides worked together. They may have been fighting each other, against each other, but they could also maintain peace and be good to one another.
Currently, the music was playing as many people danced to the classical song. Heroes and villains all talked with another, some civil, some kind and some not nice. A few hard glares, a few arguments had happened but it was nothing new. Especially with the rivalries and hated villains and stupid heroes against each other.
Hero pursues her lips, shaking her head as she took a sip of her drink. It was all stupid to her, heroes and villains would never understand each other.
"My, my, my, don't you look ready to fight."
Hero turns around, glaring as she spots Villain in front of her, smirking. She scowls. "What do you want?"
Villain grins. "I want a lot of things. Including a bit of info on all your precious heroes. But alas, that is only a dream." He sighs. "As your team only keeps stopping me."
Hero smiles fakely. "Well, whenever we do catch you, you somehow escape." She eyes him warily. "Your not going to do anything, right? This gala is supposed to show peace and tranquility." She crosses her arms, gripping her clutch tightly and pulling it closer.
She can't have anyone finding out that most of the information on many top heroes was in her hands, it would be too easy for the villains to steal it and gain info on them. And then how would they fight them if they knew their weaknesses?
"Peace and tranquility," Villain snorts, taking a sip of his drink. "Please, Hero. You and I both know that's bullshit. We hate each other, we all do. We're just forced to show we can be tame together so the public can be affirmed or some shit."
Hero frowns, her eyes going all around the large and luxurious ballroom. She looks back at him, playing with her feet as she swished the bottom of her dress with her heels.
Villain smirks. "And even if I did try, it would lead to a very big, very chaotic fight." He starts walking away. "And we wouldn't want that, now would we?"
Hero watched him go with narrowed her eyes, clutching her clutch tightly, she looked around warily.
She bites her lower lip, spotting Leader and Superhero taking to the hero council. Mentor seemed to be relaxed and poised, along with everyone else. It seemed that Superhero and Leader hadn't told them yet. They hadn't told them of the lead or clue. Or for the fact what had happened and what Superhero had ordered them to do.
Hero frowns, tilting her head in her usual cute way as she watched them.
This was bad and stupid at the same time. If the council found out, they wouldn't be happy. But then again, they would be happy if he was ever caught.
Hero snorts at that, shaking her head humorously. No way would that happen. He was like a shadow, lurking around but never getting caught. No one knew who he was, no one.
Even the villains feared him, especially the most powerful villains. They wouldn't even say his name for fear of provoking him, she scoffs at that. It was stupid but very nice as it showed just how strong his reputation was, even if he had never showed his face.
People thought he was myth, many civilians did. Many of the lower villains and heroes did. But they knew the truth, he was no myth. He was true as could be. He was the King of the Criminal World. He ruled it, even if he was never officially elected. He ruled it. Everyone knew this.
Hero looks back at Leader who was looking around warily, his gaze series. He was stupid, he really was. Along with Superhero. They really should tell the council of what had happened and what Superhero himself had ordered. They would be delighted but also exhausted as the attempts would be futile.
No one could ever catch the bastard.
Hero hummed, glancing down at her flute of champagne. She sighs before downing it in one go, swallowing the fizzy drink. She puts it on a empty tray before walking away, her hips swaying.
All of a sudden, a fire alarm blares out loudly, causing everyone to panic and scream. Many heroes look around in anger and annoyance, getting into positions as they looked around for any sign of danger. Many villains also run along and get into position, looking around wildly.
A few were running along and scrambling away, towards the exit and trying to leave the ballroom in a frenzy.
Hero's eyes widen in horror. "Villain," she hissed in irritation as she noticed the familiar armed goons running towards where Superhero's office was, located in the east hallway on the third floor.
"Hero has the hard-drive!"
Hero froze when she heard the yell, noticing it to be one of Villain's men, who was pointing at her. She swallows hard when she notices many of the villains turn to look in her direction, along with a few heroes.
"In her clutch!"
"Fuck," Hero mumbles before she quickly turns and runs out of the room, she hears a few yells and battle cries. She glances back to see a fight ensue between the heroes and villains. Along with an annoyed Superhero and Mastermind, who tried to control the situation which was now getting out of hand.
Hero panics as she hears the yells and footsteps of many villains running after her, she runs faster, gripping her clutch tightly. She nearly trips but rights herself, hurrying down a long corridor in panic.
She turns many corridors and corners, trying to confuse the crowd of villlains after her.
Hero huffs, turning a corner and leaning against the wall, panting as she breathed for air. She takes deep breathes, her lungs burning. Atleast she still knew she could still run in heels. She sighs, hearing the voices of Villains.
"Where did she go?!"
"Where's Hero!"
"Where the fuck did she go?!"
"Get off of me!"
"Leave! That hard drive is mine!"
"Make me!"
Hero let's out a sigh of relief as she hears a few footsteps run down the opposite hallway, with many arguments between the villains.
Biting her lower lip, she opens her clutch and hesitatinly pulls the hard drive out. She stares at it, debating what to do and where to hide it.
She makes a face. She looks around before stuffing the hard drive in her bra. She sighs in relief before she turns and heads down the corridor.
Her smile falls off when she sees who's in front of her. She gulps, seeing Villain stand before her with his men behind him. Her heart starts to race in fear and anticipation, she eyes him.
"I knew I should have cuffed you," Hero scowls.
Villain smirks, his hands in his pockets. "Kinky." His eyes narrow as he snaps his fingers. "Grab her and bring me the hard drive." He pauses. "Unless, you'll hand it over."
"Never." Hero glares hard at him.
"Fine by me," Villain shrugs.
All at once the men charge at her, Hero throws the clutch at them and they fight over it to grab it. She watches in amusement, smirking as she slowly backs away.
"It's empty, boss." One of the men spoke up.
Villain's eyes snap towards the young but also old hero. "You hid it. Where? Give it to me."
Hero chuckles. "Sure, come and get it if your bold enough." She then gets into a fighting position, her eyes smug and not at all looking like a hero.
Villain clenches his jaw in anger. "You bitch! Get her you idiots!"
Hero jumps back before punching the man in the face, causing him to groan. She then kicks his chest, causing him to be pushed back on a another man.
She then cartwheels, before wrapping her legs around one of the men's neck and twisting it, causing him to cry out at the pain.
She gets off and runs to another, punching and kicking. She flips in the air before grabbing his wrist and twisting it. The man groans, whimpering.
Hero then kicks him in between the legs before turning towards the last two, smirking and beckoning them forward.
They charge at her and she immediately dives down, punching one of their face and kicking the other. She grabs both their heads and hits them against each other, smirking as they fell down and in pain.
Hero's eyes snap up towards Villain, who was now glaring at her with hatred, looking annoyed. He clenched his jaw. "Give me the hard drive. Give it to me," he states, stepping forward threateningly.
Hero hums. "Let me think," she giggles, shaking her head. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Did I mention no?" She raises an eyebrow. She quickly turns to dart down the opposite hallway.
Villain growls, running after her. "Hero! Come back here! Give me the hard drive!" He yells out, grunting as he turns left down a corridor.
Hero grunts, turning a sharp corner. As she runs, she debates what to do and what not to do. Fuck it, why should she be scared of Villain? It's not like he'll grab it off her, no one has the guts to grab it from her from where she put it on her. She pauses and turns around, as he comes to stop a few feet away, glaring at her.
"Give it to me," Villain glares hard at her. "Come on, Hero. Don't be a pathetic little hero, give it to me."
Hero gulps, looking around as the hallway only consisted of Villain. She looks at him, her heart racing. Her eyes widen when she turns to see more men run behind her.
"Shite,"
Villain's lips quirk up. "Whoever gets the hard drive from Hero, I'll reward them." He spoke up, his eyes full of malice.
Hero gulps as she turns to see all the villains, minor assistants and henchmen behind her, eyeing her like she was some sort of weak pray.
Other Villain smirks. "Fine by me, come here Hero...." He purred, stepping forward with a creepy grin.
Hero takes a deep breath, shaking her head as she loosened herself. "Alright. Bring it," she says, before they charge at her.
She dodges most of them, ducking down and punching them in the throat or kicking them back. Her heels were good for that, that shit actually hurt.
She yelps, jumping back as a henchmen continues to throw punches at her. She narrows her eyes before ducking behind him and kicking the back of his knees, she then punches his face, knocking him out.
"Can't one of you get her!" Villain groans, leaning against the wall as he watched with growing irritation. He watched as she defeated almost ever villain easily, afterall, her skills were unparalleled.
Hero dodges another hit and instead kicks him with her heel, hearing him groan in pain. She smirks and punches him back. She looks down at her now brushed knuckles, she shakes them off and instead continues fighting the others.
"Come here," Other Villain grins.
Hero only rolls her eyes, punching his face easily. She watches him whimper before he falls down on the floor, she put a hand on her hip and tutted. "He really should train more,"
"Couldn't agree," Villain mutters.
Hero lunges at the last man, kicking him in the nose, his vision blurred and he grunted, falling to the floor. She sighs, rubbing her sore knuckles with a frown.
Villain scowls, getting off from where he was leaning against the wall. "Hero. Give me the hard drive. You know me. I wouldn't release the information,"
Hero narrows her eyes. "No, but you'd sell it."
Villain pauses, clicking his tongue. "Yes, well. I need a way to get rich and important." He shrugs before turning his dark stare on her. "Give it to me."
Hero starts to back away, shaking her head. "No..." she holds her hands up. "Do you really think I have it?"
Villain scoffs. "You may have hidden it. If you hadn't, then why did you run?"
Hero pauses. "I'm not giving it to you," she shakes her head before saying.
Villain clenched his jaw. "When I get my hands on you-"
"Touch her, and you die."
Hero froze, her whole figure stiffening up as she heard the cold and powerful voice. Her heart leaped, racing faster in her chest. She dug her nails in her palms, feeling the pain and welcoming it. She let's out a breath.
No. No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. This couldn't be happening. She had hoped, begged and pleaded that she was wrong, that the clue was wrong. She didn't want him here. Fear grew in her as her eyes snapped up.
Villain blinks, slowly turning around to see two men stood behind him, a few feet away. Both of them had had a powerful but dangerous aura, especially the man who stood in front of the other man.
Hero felt her heart lurch. She discreetly patted her chest, checking if the hard drive had fell out. It hadn't, it was still stuffed in her bra.
Villain narrows his eyes, but stayed silent, not making any move. Even if he didn't know who these men were, the aura they gave off was quite dangerous. "Who are you?" He finally spoke up, his voice hesitant.
The other man spoke up. "Forgive the interruption, Villain." He didn't seem sorry, only in disdain as he looked at the criminal. "But I'm-"
"Right Hand," Hero breathes out.
Villain's eyes glance towards her.
The man looks at her, smiling. "Yes. Right Hand."
"Right Hand, that means...." Villain slowly looks over at the other men with pure fear. He gulps, trying to stay strong. "I, I, I, forgive me." He looks down, stepping back slightly.
Right Hand smirks.
Hero felt her heart race as the familar man began to walk towards her.
Villain watched with fear, anger and confusion. He needed that hard drive from that puny human. How could, how could he know about it?
Right Hand breathes out, watching his boss.
Hero looks at the tall man stood in front of her, staring at her intently. "Supervillain," she whispers quietly, his name a sweet essence on her tongue.
Villain narrows his eyes, willing his hands to stop shaking with fear. Why should he be scared? He really shouldn't. He was villain afterall. He looks between the two, perplexed.
Supervillain's lips quirk up in a small smirk, his eyes dark. He steps closer so his breath hit her face, she clenches her fists together.
He hums. "The hard drive," he spoke quietly.
Hero only stared at him in a daze. "I don't have it," she half heartily lied. His voice was rich and smooth, causing her skin to tingle.
Supervillain raised his eyebrows. "No?" His hands grabbed her hips, causing her to jolt and let out a soft gasp.
Right Hand averts his eyes, looking away from his boss and the hero.
Villain's eyes watched them, interested and confused. He narrowed his eyes, frowning and shifting in his spot, feeling uncomfortable slightly.
Hero takes a sharp intake of breath as his hands ghosted over her hips to her waist, she watches as his eyes raked over her form with appreciation. She felt her breath hitch when he paused, meeting her eyes.
Her heart drops when he smirks. He knew. But he wouldn't, would he? He didn't seem to be bold, no, that's wrong. He was bold. But he wouldn't do it in front of Villain and Right Hand, would he?
Hero only raised her eyebrow, staring at him.
Supervillain chuckles. "I see, smart and clever." He hums, his hands ghosted over her chest. "No one would dare to grab it, yet...." His fingers dipped in her bra, grabbing the hard drive and gently pulling it out.
Hero ignored the flush of her cheeks, feeling his fingers linger on her collarbone as he pulled his hand away. She could feel tingles on her skin, her eyes staring at him intensely, she gulps as her eyes glance towards the hardrive. Maybe he was bold, really bold.
Villain chokes, looking away as his face turned red in humiliation and embarrassment. His eyes grew with shock and partly disgust, what was happening?
Right Hand only sighs, looking back at them.
Supervillain hummed as he stared at the small black thing. "Very clever." He meets her gaze.
Hero only stares at him, before she blinks and her eyes go to the hard drive with a panic. She meets his gaze again with a frown.
Supervillain takes out another hard drive, similar to the first before gripping her hand and putting it in her palm.
Hero could feel her stomach churn and her heart leap as she felt his cold skin on her hand, his fingers brushing against hers. She let's out a breath, meeting his gaze.
Supervillain finally eyes her up and down, a small smirk on his face. "You look ravishing, Mi Amor." He chuckles before turning and throwing the hard drive at Villain, who catches it. He looks up in surprise, swallowing hard.
Right Hand sighs.
Hero's lips part, frowning as she looked back at the copy of the hard drive.
Supervillain leans in towards her, his breath hot on her ear. "Stay near the left of the entrance, wait there." He whispers before pulling away and addressing the criminal.
"Ye-yes?"
"You won't bother Hero anymore," Supervillain hums, fixing his cuff links casually. "You'll instead only bother and annoy and attack her team. Not her." His gaze is dark. "Got it?"
Villain gulps fearfully, nodding eagerly.
Supervillain smiles, but it held no humor. "Good." He nods, before sparing one last glance towards Hero before walking away with Right Hand following him with a serious expression.
Villain grins happily, looking at the hero smugly but it falls when he sees the shock and star struck expression on her face, along with....longing? He frowns. However, he quickly hides the hard drive and stands up straight when the hero council run over.
"Hero!" Leader calls out, the team behind him. Superhero and Mentor, along with the council walk behind them. "Is the hard drive safe?" He asks with a frown.
Hero silently holds it up, not looking at him. She just held it out, not opening her mouth.
Leader sighs in relief, grabbing it. "It's safe,"
"Oh thank goodness," Hero 2 sighs. "It's safe."
"Yeah, the villains attacking us really wanted those documents." Sidekick nods.
Teammate frowns but also nods.
Teammate 2 glances at Villain. "What happened, Hero?" She asks suspiciously.
Hero only shakes her head. "Nothing. Absolutely, nothing." She looks down.
................
Later that hour, Hero stood outside. As soon as all the heroes and most of the villains and sidekicks were gone, and she was alone, she let out a yell.
She immediately begins to pace, muttering curses. "I'm so stupid. I'm so stupid. I'm so stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid." She paced back and forth. "Why am I so stupid, this wasn't supposed to happen!" She yells. She smacks her forehead.
Hero could feel a headache coming on, she groans and rubs her head. "Why did this have to happen? Why couldn't I have stayed at home and ate ice cream?" She frowns and hugs herself, glancing at her black coat.
"I really don't understand what happened."
Hero's eyes snap up to see Villain, she sighs and stands up straight. "What do you want?" She crosses her arms.
Villain pursues his lips, staring hard at her. He doesn't say anything, only shaking his head and letting out a breath.
Hero frowns. She goes to say something but a limo pulls up in front of them on the street, she looks towards it and swallows hard.
Villain blinks.
Right Hand steps out from the front seat, giving a small smile as he turned to them. "My boss already gave orders, Villain. You should leave," he spoke coldly.
Villain nods, slowly walking away. He hesitates though, keeping an ear out to listen in on the conversation.
Right Hand turns to the young but also old hero, he smiles kindly and opens the door for her.
Hero stays put, only hugging herself as she stared at the door with furrowed eyebrows. Once she sat down, she would have to talk to him. She wasn't gonna take that chance. "I have my car, I can drive home." She spoke quietly.
Right Hand frowns. "He insists." He gives her a look.
Hero bites her lower lip.
Right Hand sighs. "You may have aged but your still as stubborn as a mule."
Hero smiles. "I thought I was stubborn as a brat according to you,"
Right Hand only chuckles. "Please. Get in," he nods to the open door he held. "It's cold. We wouldn't want you to get sick."
Hero pursues her lips before slowly nodding. She ducks down and takes a seat, watching as the door closed. She sighs as the warm heat of the limo engulfed her, warming her up from the cold. She looks down at her lap, not bothering to look at the person who sat across from her.
She closes her eyes, vaguely feeling the limo start to move. She let's out a breath, playing with her fingers.
"You've changed,"
Hero's eyes snap up to meet his when he speaks up. He leant back against the italian black leather of the limo, one of his arms spread on the seat while the other was in his lap. He was staring at her.
"People change," Is the only thing she says before turning her gaze out the window. She watched as the city lights went by, the buildings tall and regal. People laughed all around, the civilians all free and happy.
"Why did you give that hard drive to Villain?" She finally spoke up, turning to him seriously.
Supervillain only cocked an eyebrow. "Why did you hide that hard drive in your bra?"
Hero felt her cheeks flush. "I asked the question first,"
Supervillain shrugs. "It's not like he'll do anything, pesky roach." He mutters, shaking his head.
Hero frowns, shaking her head. "You don't know him like I do. He'll use it for his own benefit, he won't care about the consequences. He'll sell the information and then many heroes will fall under danger."
Supervillain stares at her. "Are you and Villain close?" He asks, patting his lap casually.
Hero shakes her head. "What does that have to do with anything? He's mainly Hero 2's nemesis," she answered his question regardless.
Supervillain only hummed, turning his gaze to the window.
Hero scowls. "Are you even fucking listening to me?" She sits up, her eyes narrowing.
Supervillain chuckles. "There she is. The Hero I know," he smirks, turning to her. "You've been so...docile."
"Call me docile again, I dare you."
"Your docile."
Hero glares at him.
Supervillain shrugs. "Am I wrong? Your so...obedient. Not that it's a bad thing," He shakes his head. "But listening to others obediently is so stupid."
Hero scoffs. "I have a job."
"Yeah. A faulty one,"
Hero glares at him.
Supervillain hums. "Although Villain is powerful, he's not that strong. He won't do anything stupid."
Hero sighs, looking down at her lap and playing with her hands.
"Speaking of stupid... "
Hero looks up at him.
"Since when do you smoke?" Supervillain was frowning at her.
Hero scowls. "Since 2-3 months ago,"
Supervillain stares at her.
Hero huffs. "What? Are you-what are you doing?" She asks in a panic when he moves, sitting down next to her. She squirms, moving closer to the window, eyeing him.
Supervillain stares at her. "Sitting down. Why? Do you have a problem? It's my limo."
Hero glares at him, squirming away from him. "That doesn't make you entitled to come in someone's personal space." She eyes him.
Supervillain leans closer. "Everything in this limo, belongs to me." He whispered.
Hero swallows hard, gripping the fur of her coat tightly as she stared into his eyes.
Supervillain stares at her for a few moments before smirking and pulling away.
Hero looks away, a scowl on her pretty face.
"Still so alluring...." Supervillain hums. "But just as fiery and passionate."
Hero's eyes snap towards his hand which was no on her lap, gentle tracing patterns on her hand. She slaps its away, snapping. "Don't touch me."
Supervillain chuckles, raising his hands in surrender.
Hero sighs as the limo comes to a stop outside her apartment building. She quickly gets out even before Right Hand has a chance to open the door. She pauses, giving him a polite smile.
She spares one last glance towards Supervillain before turning and walking inside.

“Has anyone ever told you how pretty you look when you’re focused?” The voice shocked Hero. They spun away from their desk only to scatter a slew of papers. From the shadows came a chuckle and Villain emerged.
“You’re not supposed to be able to get in here.”
A feline smile graced the Villain’s lips, “You of all people should know I have a knack for being places I shouldn’t.” Their gaze fell onto the scattered files and Hero instinctively fumbled to fix the mess before them. Not however, before Villain managed to snatch a paper of their own.
“Quite the thorough research you have.” Villain smirked. They took their sweet time reading it even as Hero reached for them. An array of well placed blocks was enough to finish the contents of the sheet all while leaving the Hero an amusing shade of red., “You really are obsessed with me, aren’t you?”
“You can’t be serious,” Hero sputtered. They leapt for the sheet, successfully managing to tear it from the Villain’s hands all while their nemesis raised a knowing brow. “You’re a Villain, it’s my job to do all I can to stop you.”
“Because knowing my favorite kind of flower is so beneficial to my demise,” Villain strode forward, stopping the Hero from fleeing by bracketing a hand on either side of their hips. They leaned close, lips ghosting just over the shell of Hero’s ear, “Don’t be naive sweetheart. Trying to hide your little crush is as hopeless as this ‘work’ of yours.”
The blush they got in response was absolutely ravishing.

Romance Your Demons
TW: Blood, bruises, asphyxiation attempt, gun mention, violence
Happy late birthday, 🎂 @thelazywitchphotographer
"Darling," Villain growled, baring their teeth in a predatorial fashion.
"Dear," Hero replied languidly, although their eyes were glued to the criminal's balled-up fists, to their arched body, ready to pounce.
They were far too reminiscent of an old, married couple, something everyone and their mother never ceased to point out, much to both the crime-fighter and the evil-doer's chagrin.
The villain rammed into them, the hero's body slamming into the wall with an audible thud, the force just shy away from breaking something.
"Well, this is intimate," the hero scoffed, swinging their leg and slamming it harshly into their adversary's ribs, letting the criminal fall to the ground, spitting blood and a flurry of filthy curses out of their mouth.
The dagger-sharp smirk on the hero's smug face was arguably a more painful blow than that merciless kick. Villain had always been told that their pride would be the end of them.
Well, now it would be the end of Hero too.
Wiping the blood from their mouth, their fingers clawed around Hero's neck, digging into their skin, leaving scratches and bruises in their wake, ripping out shallow breaths from the hero's lungs as their pale face slowly turned a sickly shade of blue.
"You're not laughing now, are you, sucker?" they seethed, loosening their death grip around their enemy's throat by a mere fraction.
Gasping and taking greedy breaths of air, the hero still had the audacity to flash a dirt-eating grin. "No, I s'ppose not."
It made the villain wish to squash the life right out of the crime-stopper's body, to beat them to a bloody pulp on the sidewalk, to empty a gun (that they unfortunately lacked right now) into the jerk's head.
But it also made them want to pull them up against their chest and kiss the hero's cheekbones and bring that oh so pretty blush to their face and neck, one that they'd only seen because Hero was exerting themselves and not because they were flustered.
The hero had dark circles under their eyes and dry skin. They'd lost weight, and not in any way that was healthy, dropping muscle from what was once a gorgeously lean figure. They were young, but their eyes were a hundred years older.
But they were struggling in the criminal's vice-like grip, still fighting for what most would deem a lost cause, still grinning in that stupidly carefree way they did when they were just starting out, barely in high school and nowhere near as broken. And it was beautiful.
The villain wanted to curse themselves, so they did.
"What? Are we just gonna keep cuddling here together for all eternity?" Hero supplied in a mostly sarcastic tone, but the strange edge it had could almost be read as flirtatious.
Villain released them from the bruising grip on their neck, their nemesis took in great breaths of air, their body shuddering as they almost fell to the ground, only for the evil-doer to catch them with a steadying arm wrapped around their waist.
They couldn't even tell when the hero's face went scarlet.
"So, where's the part where you commit homicide?" they asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I'll save that for later, dove. Right now, you're all I can think about," they admitted, almost guiltily.
Surprisingly, they weren't met with another infuriatingly attractive, lopsided smirk. The look on the crime-fighter's face was nothing, if not utterly dazed.
"M-me? But I'm a mess. Like that one article so eloquently put it, I'm a cocktail of problems in a spandex suit with a few witty catchphrases," they replied, laughing humourlessly.
Villain's grip around their waist tightened subtly. "You're just tired. Sure, you could find great use for a physiotherapist, a haircut, a whole, new diatery plan, some basic skin care an-"
"Yeah, a whole makeover. No need to rub it in, though," they attested, only mildly irritated.
The villain rolled their eyes. "My point is, even through all this, you still manage to shine like a diamond in the rough."
"Oh so personality over looks? Got it," they chuckled slyly.
The criminal paused in their walk and pulled their enemy forward by the collar, "Do I have to spell it out for you? You're so goddamn hot even when you're not supposed to be, so awfully dishevelled, and yet here I am," they whispered, their lips almost brushing the hero's ear.
A tense moment of awkward silence passed as the crime-fighter pulled away from them, their eyes wide and their lips parted, trying uselessly for a few false starts. "So, where to now?" they said, straightening their posture gracefully and attempting to regain their composure, like the flustered mess of emotions from just a moment ago had never been.
"My place. We'll fix you up a little, and then we can go get something to eat," the villain replied, failing to keep the smile out of their voice.
"What happened to me being all glowing?" the hero teased.
"You're very lucky you're pretty," Villain snarled through gritted teeth, their hand resting on the back of Hero's neck.
They quickly tensed up, until the villain started to rub their neck, as though apologising for the damage they'd previously caused. The dark scowl was quickly wiped off their face as they watched the tightness dissipate from the hero's form. How had they not taken that adorable, little idiot out before?
"You're still good-looking, Hero. But you owe it to yourself to at least take care of yourself. Live a little." There was no mocking or cruelty, no sharp edges to their smile and nothing but gentleness in the villain's golden, honey brown eyes, making the hero's own hazel ones go as wide as saucers.
No one's ever talked to Hero like that, cared about them this way, or looked at them like they were a treasure. So, they nodded, hooked their hand into the villain's, placed a quick kiss on their forehead and allowed themselves to be lead forward.
The opposite of love is not hate, but indifference. Strong emotions often find themselves mixing together, melting into one another. The fine line between love and hatred defines itself by desire, a treacherous walk to make, but all the more worth it. And the heart can so strangely burn a different flame, beat for a whole new cause, adore what it used to despise, and admit what it so vigorously used to deny.

How to kiss someone on Villaintine's Day!
Featuring Villain and Hero! (based on that one joke)
Villain: How to kiss someone
Villain: Grab their waist
Villain: Slip your hand into their pocket
Villain: Steal their wallet
Villain: Don't even kiss them
Villain: Just run
Hero: Villain, NO.
Villain: What? Is that not how you kiss?
Villain: Aww, guess I'm out of practice
Villain: Hero, will you help me practice my kissing? 😇
Villain: Is there another way?
Villain: Why don't you show me, Hero? 😇
Villain: Or don’t you know how to kiss?
“You know what? Sure.” Hero was so done with Villain's shenanigans. They just wanted a nap and this seemed like a good enough way to shut them up for good.
“Wha—”
Before Villain could say another word, Hero had cupped their face in their hands. Looking over their shoulder, they called out to the sidekicks, “Take notes 'cause I’ll only do this once.” Villain was getting redder by the second, but Hero didn't seem to notice, or they didn't care.
“I-I—”
Hero completely ignored Villain’s stuttering, they were just struggling to stay awake right now. “So. You put your hands on their cheeks, gently.” They loosened their grip. “A good way to know is to imagine you're rubbing their tears with your thumbs. Well, ideally there won’t be any tears but the soft touch is still appreciated." Hero gently wiped away imaginary tears from Villain’s face, unaware that Villain had stopped breathing.
“Now, hm,” Hero got on their tiptoes, “Hm, sorry, Villain. Guess you're a bit too tall for me.” They turned to the sidekicks. “Hey, Villain Sidekick, can you come here? I think your height would do better.” Villain Sidekick didn’t even get a chance to blush before Villain abruptly dropped to their knees. Hero turned around. “Huh. Guess that’ll do. Thanks, V.”
They leaned down nonchalantly, all while Villain’s heart was pounding. Their face felt so hot, and they just knew that Hero could feel it with their hands still calmly holding their face.
“So, you’ve got your hands gently holding their face. You wipe their tears or just caress their face, again, gently. Then, watch. Villain, you too,” Hero kissed Villain’s forehead ever so softly. “This is how you kiss”, then their left cheek, “and this is how you kiss,” before bringing their lips ever so close to Villain’s own, “and... let me tell you a secret,” they whispered, their mouth curving into a smile, lips hovering right over Villain's. “I... I... I don’t know how to kiss either,” they said with a smirk, following it with a quick peck on Villain’s right cheek before immediately dropping their hands.
Oh, the look on Villain's face... thankfully, the sidekicks had their phone cameras on and were excellent note takers.
---
This is so silly, I don't even know
Scheduled this on 21st August 2022 for 14th Feb 2023 while talking to @world-of-fire-and-flight about it here
Me using romance tropes I don't like to make the (non) romance trope I do like -- which is no romance! MWAHAHAHAHA!!! 😈

“Ooh~...” the villain moaned out with one cocked, teasing eyebrow, “Ravish me, my dear hero.”
The hero flushed beet red. They made a mistake at letting their chokehold grip on the villain’s wrists falter and gasped, opening their eyes to see that the villain has switched their positions.
A lopsided grin engraved on the villain’s face, holding the hero’s wrists in place on the wall, “Poor little hero, too naïve for your own good.”

Prompt #220
"Favorite feature on yourself. Answer, now."
Hero pondered the question for just a moment. "My eyes."
Villain hummed, as if to say, 'Interesting choice, but…’ "I don’t think so."
"Well, it's a good thing you asked for my opinion, not the other way around," Hero said. “That means I don’t have to listen to what you think.”
"Do you know what my favorite feature of yours is?" Villain asked anyway. Then, answering their very own question, muttered, "Your parted lips."
Hero’s attention was drawn towards the bluntness of the statement, towards the absurdity of the conversation altogether. "Parted?" What did parted have to do with- oh.
Now smiling, Villain’s teeth shone like a dagger’s glinting edge. “What do you say we put them to good use?”

cw: suggestive
“You know for someone with such a handsome face, it really is a shame you frown so much.”
Hero feels a sudden warmth spread to their cheeks and the tip of their ears. They glance up to see a sweet, yet poisonous smile on the villain’s face. It was so strange how one moment they were throwing fists and shouting insults at eachother only to end up in a compromised position like this.
They couldn’t have predicted Villain climbing on top of them in the middle of their fight like this, but it was obvious at this point it was a rather clever technique to distract them. Gears started turning in their head, and they weren’t sure how to react as their nemesis cupped their cheek with a feather-light touch and a piercing look in their eye. It was enough to give them a fluttery feeling in their stomach, one they wished wasn’t as pleasant as they liked to admit.
The hero despised how alluring his expression was, as they leaned closer with parted lips. Only Hero understood the consequences of sharing a kiss with the devil, yet they didn’t move away.
“I- I…What?” They asked while stumbling over their words, unable to fully process Villain’s comment.
“As a matter of fact, I quite enjoy you when you’re like this,” The villain chuckled heartily as they held the other’s chin. “so vulnerable and speechless…it’s honestly rather adorable. More entertaining than when you try to act all tough.~”
“Shut up.” The hero grunts, attempting to retrieve their anger from earlier but not nearly as convincing as before. “You’ve tried this a thousand times, it’s still not gonna work on me.”
The villain simply pouts as they trail a finger up the crimefighter’s chest, noticing their breath hitch. “How disappointing…Though I suppose you have been the stubborn type, hm? Never the type to be honest with your feelings.”
Hero scoffed, lightly shoving the Villain away from them. “And why the hell would that matter to you?” They growled, only for their charming opponent to respond with a toothy grin. The villain gazed at them intensely, tracing a finger across their cheek which slowly turned scarlet.
“Because…I notice how you put a front around the public. Your fans. Your colleagues. Your so-called “friends”. You have a reputation to uphold, so naturally you put up that stoic facade around the people that rely on you.” The villain spoke in a hushed, velvety tone as they casually wrapped their arms around hero’s shoulders. “Well…all except for me.”
Hero’s eyes widened and they attempted to stare at anything else in the room to escape Villain’s alluring presence and the skin-tight leather touching their skin. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“There’s no need to lie to me puppy.”
Their honeyed voice along with the sudden pet name nearly flooded the hero’s senses, almost enough for them to listen to any of the villain’s commands.
“Don’t you want to be free…? I know you must be so tired of hiding. So, why not let yourself go, hm~?”
It didn’t take long for their enemy to brush their lips against theirs, soon giving the hero the night of freedom they had always desired.

Chocolate Strawberries~
It was, in fact, their favorite dessert. They couldn't deny it.
So when Villain was met with a cheerful hero offering them one, they were conflicted. What if it was poisoned?
Their nemesis stared at them with honest glee, their feet gently rocking as they sat. When the criminal didn't answer, they rolled their eyes. "Do you want it or not?"
They watched as the melted chocolate dripped onto the ground, slowly.
"You're getting chocolate on my new carpet."
The hero looked beneath them, and sheepishly held the plate under it. "Oops." Villain scoffed.
"You really think you can just waltz into my apartment, offer me food that could very well be poisoned, and get chocolate on MY new carpet?"
"Your fault. You were taking too long to answer."
They deadpanned at Hero's smirk. That damn smirk.
"It's a no."
"Your loss." Hero picked off the stem and plopped it in their mouth, flopping onto the couch next to their considered frenemy.
"I don't like you."
"Awww~!" Hero intertwined their hands, putting on an adoring look, "I don't like you, either!"
Villain couldn't help the blush that followed as they registered the contact, but quickly rolled their eyes and took their hand away, grabbing the remote.
"What we watchin'?" They huddled up close to Villain.
Damn it, Hero.
"..A documentary," They quickly answered as they switched it to some random nature channel.
"Aw, I love animals!" They grabbed the rest of the chocolate strawberries off the coffee table.
The two watched the documentary for a bit, but one of them wasn't really paying as much attention as the other.
"..Hey, maybe I will have one." The villain finally said.
"This is the last one.." Hero muffled out, half a strawberry in their mouth.
Villain stared. Before getting a crazy idea. A preposterous, out of this world one, really.
When the villain didn't say anything, the crime-stopper raised an eyebrow. "Vill-"
They smashed their lips together, smearing chocolate on both of them but managing to snatch the strawberry away with their mouth.
They stared at their now flushed enemy, wiping chocolate off their mouth. "I win."

"You're a cute one.." The villain loomed over the hero, Who just backed away from their shadows - fear absorbing in their gazes as they felt bricks prickling their cape. The Villain trapped them with a large menacing grin on their face.
They chuckled, hypnotizing "You seemed new to this city. I've never seen you from around here. Tell me now, what is your name?"
The hero felt like a squirrel cornered by a fox but they couldn't fall under their trap so easily, They are trying to manipulate them! The hero has to break out from their thoughts "I- N-No I won't fall under your spell, Witch! You are a villain and the bad guy, I am trained to stop you and your cruelty!"
....The villain had an uncertain look on their face, Certainly not hurt if Hero could inspect their face carefully - The criminal whispered, a smirk returning "We'll see."

hellowwww i hope youre having a nice dayyy! idk if youre taking requests but if you are could you please write about an easily flustered Civillian who is attending a ball, and morally grey Villain asking her for a dance. she knows exaclty who he is but still she accepted.
CAN YOU THROW IN SOME TEASING AND FLIRTING AND CAN IT BE LONG IF YOU WANT TO OFC. FEEL FREE TO IGNORE THISSS. ANYWAYS HERE'S A 🥐 AND HAVE A GOOD DAY!
thank you for the croissant 🥐 ! <3
tw: none!
Civilian was never a fan of balls.
She found them rather distasteful, overly extravagant. Her siblings, on the other hand, did not, and they had left her at one of the tables while they ran off to find a dashing suitor for the night.
Civilian picked at the hem of her sleeve, watching couples dance to the music playing in the background. She sighed as she noticed one of her sisters twirling about in the center of the room. Maybe it was time for her to leave…
“And what would a pretty little thing like you be doing here alone?”
She startled, eyes flying up to the man in front of her. He seemed much older than her, sporting graying hair and premature wrinkles.
She furrowed her brow. “I’m…I’m sorry?”
He stepped closer, much too close for comfort. He leaned in, and Civilian could smell the mustiness of him. Suddenly feeling nauseous, she cleared her throat and stood up. “I-I apologize, but I was just on my way home.”
“So soon?” The man grinned, flashing crooked teeth. He moved towards her, and she began to back up. “Honey, I can make you feel good—,”
He stopped dead in his tracks, eyes widening at the sight of something just past her shoulder.
Civilian blinked, confused. “Sir—?”
“There you are.” A velvety voice rumbled through her from behind. “I’ve been looking for you everywhere.”
Civilian jolted as a hand settled on her shoulder. She slowly turned her head up to meet the steely gray eyes of…
Oh. Oh my god.
Villain smiled warmly at her. “C’mon dear, let me take you somewhere else,” he said gently, wrapping a snug arm around her shoulders and moving her into a safer corner of the room.
“Are you okay?” Villain murmured. “He didn’t harass you too much?”
Civilian forgot how to talk. She swallowed dryly after a moment. “I-I…no. No, he didn’t. Thank you.”
“Ah, good.” Villain’s gaze swiped over her once. “You look stunning, dear. Can I ask for a name?”
A blush beginning to dot her cheeks, she ducked her head. “Civilian.”
“Civilian,” he repeated, testing the name out on his tongue. His lips quirked up again. “Civilian, would you care for a dance?”
Villain - the villain - asking her to a dance. The villain that was dashingly handsome in an all black tuxedo and dark, slicked hair that was just beginning to lose its careful styling. The villain that was notorious for his attacks on the government, but was seen carrying out injured people from a burning building.
“You’re staring,” Villain reminded under his breath, a laugh in his voice.
“Sorry,” Civilian squeaked. “I-I, well, yes, of course. I’d love to dance.”
The gray of his eyes lit up with unspoken delight, and he took her hand, bringing her to the main floor with the other guests.
Stepping along to a gentle waltz, Villain brought Civilian in close. “You know who I am,” he whispered in her ear. It wasn’t a question.
Civilian almost lost her footing. “Pardon?”
“Well, you didn’t ask for my name.” Villain chuckled. “And the way you were looking at me was rather…peculiar, for lack of a better word.”
“O-oh,” Civilian stuttered out, embarrassment flooding through her. “Sorry.”
A hand slid onto the small of her back to keep her near, but the slowness and deliberation of the movement made her breath catch.
“Don’t be,” Villain responded. “It’s not everyday a beautiful woman such as yourself ever bothers to glance at me.”
If she wasn’t dancing in the center of the room, Civilian would’ve collapsed onto the floor. She, of all people, just got complimented by this charming suitor. Her mind raced for an appropriate answer. “Thank you,” she breathed. “It’s not everyday a gorgeous man such as yourself ever bothers to approach me.”
Villain flashed a grin - the roguish kind that made Civilian’s knees weak. “I appreciate it.”
The hand on her back began to make its way up to brush the base of her skull, fingers catching on loose strands of hair from her braid. She made eye contact with Villain as he guided her face closer to his.
“You have the prettiest eyes,” he mused, breath tingling her nose. His gaze flicked down. “And the prettiest lips.”
Civilian’s heart was pounding twice as fast than normal, threatening to burst of of her chest. She glanced quickly at the curve of his own mouth, then back up to the sharp intensity of his ashen stare.
He was so close. When did he get so close?
The world around them blurred, slowed, music fading away into the background, and then it was just him and her. Her and him.
His lips brushed over hers, just barely, as if to say - Thank you for trusting me.
She chased him as he pulled back. He tightened his hold on her, as if to restrain the both of them from doing anything more.
I’m yours when you are ready.
And then time fell back into place, the classical music blared in Civilian’s ears, and they were suddenly no longer alone again.
The song ended, and Villain stepped away to bow to her. She fumbled into a sloppy curtsy, still reeling from everything that just happened.
He winked at her. “See you around, Civilian.”
Then he turned, and disappeared into the crowd before she could chase after him.
She’d see him not around, but rather the very next day for a date together.

Happy (not very) secret Santa, to @creweemmaeec11! I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
A Favour
This was honestly the last situation Hero wanted to be in at this moment. Or any moment, honestly.
Well, maybe that was a bit harsh. In a different context, the hero could get behind being on their knees in front of the villain.
But having to beg for their help?
It was humiliating.
“Mmmm… I liked the sound of that one, but be a bit whinier will you?” Villains eyes twinkled as they stared down at the hero at their feet. “I love it when you whimper, sweetheart.”
The blush that slapped the hero in the face was almost painful, they wanted to curl over themselves and rot in their embarrassment. The villain had a way of acting that drove them mad on one hand and absolutely head over heels on the other.
It was sickening how fast their heart was beating.
The villain leaned forwards, displeased with the hero’s lack of servicing, they grabbed them sternly by the chin, tilting their head up almost to the point of being uncomfortable as they looked them in the eyes. A grin lacing their features with an intensity that made Hero shiver.
“Hero. I’m not going to ask you twice. Don’t make me drag those pretty whines out of you with my hands instead…”
The crime-stopper yelped as the grasp on their jaw was released. Trying to pull themselves together after what they had just heard.
But they couldn’t waste any more time. They needed Villains help.
“Villain… please—“
“Ah, eyes on me, precious.” Villain tutted, smiling down at their captive.
If it was at all possible to perish, Hero truly wished for it in this moment.
They took a deep breath, “Villain, I-I need your help. Please, help me. I-I’ll do anything…” Holding eye contact with their overly amused nemesis was definitely the worst part.
The way their eyes drifted hungrily across the hero’s body and how they left shivers in their tracks. It was dangerous.
It was delectable.
The feeling was invasive and the hero welcomed it. The attention, the intensity… It was terribly flustering, but they craved it at the same time.
Villain hummed in contempt, nodding their head as they pretended to ponder the hero’s pleads. Tapping their chin, deep in thought and Hero secretly hoped for this to be over.
“It was… decent. I suppose good enough for the time being, but throw in a few more ‘please’s’ for a gold star later, hm?”
Hero nodded vigorously, too nervous to speak another word in fear that Villain would make them restart the whole begging process. The villain on the other hand seemed very pleased with the other’s obedience.
“Good hero… such a good hero for me, hm? You must be really desperate to do all this, huh?” The criminal chuckled, finally standing up off their seat and leaning over to ruffle the hero’s hair.
“Villain I—“ The hero stood from their kneeling position on the ground. Turning to face their sworn enemy with a pink dusting on their cheeks.
The villain smiled as they booped the hero on the nose gently. “Anything you want, sweetheart. You’ve earned yourself a favour.”
They took one more deep breath, trying to steady themselves for their final request. Hero’s face already burning before a single word could leave their mouth.
“Villain, I need you to be my undercover date.”

Gangster's Wife / Part 1.
Warning: Language, Mature Themes, Violence, Spicy.
Part 2.
............ ............
At first, Hero had been confused. She was perplexed at the thought of Superhero wanting to retire. But then again, Hero herself has watched many superheroes and mentors retire and turn old and then eventually die.
Afterall, she's been alive since the 1900s.
Back then, she was only a assistant. Someone who worked at the back desk, sorting through files, working through evidence and just a sidekick. She had worked her way up, working hard and manifesting her powers. And now, currently, she was the top five heroes in the world. Her boss, Leader, was number 1.
Although, Hero's friends back in the 1900s advised her against working for the Hero Industry, she had opted ignore them. It was dangerous and very hard to work for the company. Especially the sacrifices, the training and the punishments....
Unfortunately, if you were a level one hero, you would get no benefits. You would have to be famous and a fan favorite.
But then again....
Hero has been working almost a century or so. Years of trying to find the lead, of trying to find the main link, the heart of the corruption. But all she got was more dirty evidence of all the mentors and superheros. Which she kept for solid evidence.
It was amusing almost. The industry had a mole, a undercover spy in their line of work for years and they never noticed. Maybe because when spies did infiltrate, they would be tortured and the work was too much. The training was extensive, you had to reach beyond your limits. And it was painful if you weren't used to it, you had to endure it.
And once you entered the hero industry, it was hard to get out. The agency was stern, strict and didn't like when rules were broken.
But at this point in life, Hero was glad she wasn't dead yet. Or had been killed yet.
She had been in a lot of life-risking situations, deadly circumstances. But she always got out, she always found a way to get out and defeat the villains, criminals and everyone in between. She was that good. Or maybe a 100 years of training helped you. But despite that, she never was number 1. Probably because she didn't do it for the fame. She never did it for the fame.
But then again, not many heroes cared for saving people......it was always about the glory.
"Wait, why?"
Superhero blinks. "What do you mean why?"
Hero also frowns, turning to Teammate with a confused expression.
Teamate sighs. "Hero means why are you retiring? Your our boss, our boss's boss. Our main macho. Your one of the best superheros. Why are you leaving?"
Superhero chuckles. "I guess I am rather powerful."
Hero raised her eyebrows. Was that all he got from Teammate's words? That he was powerful?
"But to answer your question, Teammate." Superhero gets up from his seat, walking towards the window. "I have grown old and frail. Despite my youthful and handsome appearance, I have grown desperate and tired." His eyes darken.
Leader, who was silent up until this point, spoke up. "Why?" His eyes narrowed, always serious and stoic. Always following the rules.
Hero stared at him. Despite her being older then him, he was still number 1. Maybe the industry didn't like century old heroes, maybe they didn't like old ones who didn't follow the new rules, or maybe because Leader never broke the rules.
It was partly true. He never broke the rules. And because of this, he made sure his public appearance was the best. He was a fan favorite afterall. It's not like anyone hated him, even if they did, it would be illogical since he has caught many villains and criminals in short amounts of time.
Hero also caught villains, more then Leader maybe, but she had to work her way up. She was a assistant, a desk worker, a sidekick, a teammate, then she became a minor hero. Then she gradually began to gain fame and glory. But who knows if it would do her any good.
Leader had actually been hired as a hero, he didn't work his way up. He didn't get the taste of being a minor hero who had to suffer, who hadn't gotten a taste of the consequences.
Hero's pretty eyes turn towards Superhero, she tenses when she sees the dark look growing on his face. She swallows hard when his lips quirk up in a small yet amusing smirk.
Superhero turns his head to the team. He stares at Leader, glancing at Hero, Sidekick and Teammate. He looks at Hero 2 and Teammate 2. He smiles as he spoke, his voice clear in the silent office.
"Tell me, have you ever heard of the whispers," he whispers ominously. "Of the rumors, of the crimes, of the tall tales, the stories?"
Leader gulps, his eyes oblivious as he clearly didn't understand. "Of what, sir?"
Superhero chuckles. "Tell me, have you never once heard the whispers? The name?"
"Of what....?" Sidekick speaks up, a frown on his lips ad he tried to hide his growing fear.
"No." Superhero shakes his head. "No. Not of what. Never of a what. But who. Of who?"
"Who?" Teammate 2 asks, her eyebrows furrowed in concentration.
"You want me to say his name?" Superhero questions. "They say even whispering his name will make him known of your presence, of your disrespect." He spat the words out venomously.
"Of...who?" Leader had no idea why his boss was getting so worked up. Who was this who?
Superhero shake his head. "A 150 years. A 150 years. Years, centuries, decades!" He snaps angrily. "We have never been able to catch him. He lingers in the dark. He's always escaped! Even the most baddest and biggest criminals and villains are scared to say his name."
Hero 2 frowns, scoffing in disbelief quietly. That made no sense. Villains were scared of nothing and nobody. They were evil, selfish and cruel. Who could they possibly be scared of?
"His fearful name even lingers in their brains, they always be wary of him. They fear him." Superhero rambles to himself.
"Who, sir?" Leader says, his eyes narrowed as his impatience began to grow.
Superhero pauses, his eyes turning to the team slowly. ".......Supervillain." he whispers.
Hero's eyes snapped up, staring at him.
Teammate yelps, Hero 2 screams, Teammate 2 whimpers, Sidekick jump and even Leader flinches.
Hero's hands grow clammy, she clamps them together. She clenches her jaw, her eyes snapping to the ground.
"For years the hero industry have been trying to catch him. For nearly a century all the heroes, superheroes and everyone else have failed. He's never been caught." Superhero growls.
"B-but, but I thought that he was a myth." Hero 2 whispers fearfully.
"He's real, my dear. More real then those villains you catch. Even they fear him, yet many have never met him."
"So we find him," Leader proclaims.
Hero silently thought, that Leader was an idiot.
Superhero scoffs out a laugh. "Many superheroes and heroes have thought that too. They never caught him. They gave up many times. And those that never did, well, they'd end up dead." He snorts.
Hero swallows hard.
"So, what do you want us to do?" Sidekick frowns.
Superhero sighs. "I may be retiring but that doesn't mean I'll retire before I find him. I want you to abandon any other missions you have. Leave them all too the other heroes and whatnot. I want you guys on this," Superhero starts.
"You mean...." Teammate trails off.
"Yes. I want you to find, Supervillain." Superhero orders.
Hero almost immediately becomes rather pale. "Y-you m-mean..." she swallows hard.
Superhero nods, noticing her fear. "Yes, Hero. I want you to find him. All of you. You must find him no matter what. I don't care. It's been long enough, he can't stay hidden forever. He has to be found." He sighs. "He has committed the most devious crimes. He's a monster, a very powerful monster."
Hero clenches her fist, digging her nails into her palms as she glared at the floor hotly. He was wrong. He was evil.
"Find him, Leader." Superhero states. "Find him and bring him to me."
.....................
"This is bad, this is bad, this is so bad on so many levels!"
Hero stayed silent, sat obediently on her seat in the rec room. She glanced up at her team talked.
"Hero 2, what's wrong with you?" Sidekick spat, looking annoyed.
Hero 2 scoffs. "Are you out of your fucking mind?! Sidekick, it's him!" She swallows hard. "We have to find a walking myth, a work of evil. How the hell are we supposed to do that?!"
Teammate 2 sighs. "All the villains are scared of him. They never even speak his name, in fear of him finding them and punishing them."
Hero 2 nods frantically. "See! Even the villains are scared of that evil reincarnated!"
Hero grits her teeth, staring holes at the floor. He was not a evil incarnate.
Teammate narrows her eyes. "Yeah. But a few villains may know who he is. His actual identity. Who he really is and where he's hiding."
"Sure they do," Sidekick scoffs.
Teammate rolls her eyes. "One of them have too. Maybe...Villain? Or maybe Mastermind?" She hums, thinking about their biggest nemesis and rival.
Villain was cruel, evil and very clever. He's had the city in his pocket for a year or two now. They've been trying to catch him, but he always escapes. And when they do catch him, he always somehow escapes. He was that clever.
And Mastermind. He was cruel. Just plain cruel and unjust. He had killed about a few innocent people. But that was all it took for him to become their nemesis.
Hero was scared. Hero was really scared. She was clenching her fists tightly, her heart racing wildly as her eyes turned fearful. He knew.
He knew they would be trying to find him. He knew they would be trying to apprehend him, he knew they would be trying to catch him. He knew.
Many have tried, many have tried but he always knew. Didn't he? That explained everything.
Hero's heart skipped a beat. If he knew....would he know that she was trying to find him? That the team, a team she was on, was trying to find him.
"Okay, enough." Leader spoke up. "We need clear heads. We need to logical and calm about this. Yeah, he's a myth. A very evil and good myth. He's been hiding in the shadows forever, that just makes him look cowardly." He scoffs.
Hero scowls. He was not a coward. He was the very opposite of that.
"We need to find leads. However small, we need to trace him. Maybe the last person he was with, or maybe the last place he was in."
Hero looks up.
Teammate groans. "That could be any place. He's probably been all along the globe these past years."
"Great," Sidekick snorts. "That narrows it's down."
Teammate 2 hums. "No, she could be right about this. We need to find the last place he had been, last year, tops."
Teammate nods. "Yeah. Maybe a place where the crime rate went up. We need to find where, abruptly, a crime rate went up."
Well, atleast they have smart ideas. Hero thought bitterly.
"But how? There are so many places." Hero 2 frowns.
Leaders sighs. "Then we find any possible lead. We start with that. Atleast we actually have something. Then we can torture the villains for any other ideas." He nods.
They all nod.
"Good," Leader smirks. "We'll be the team that finds the legendary Supervillian."
Probably not, Hero thought silently.

“I never knew someone like you could look so-” Villain paused, enraptured with the form before them. Beneath the high arches of the study Hero emerged, expensive fabrics perfectly draped around their form. The perfect cover for the perfect heist, though despite their preparations Villain had never thought Hero would play the part so well.
A smirk played across Hero’s lips, “Look so…what? You do know it’s proper to finish your sentences.” They strolled forward, easily towering over the Villain who couldn’t help but blush. Hero knew what they were doing. Mission or not this was a game to them, and Villain was losing horribly.
They nearly lost their resolve when Hero’s hand rose to cup their cheek, gloved fingers tracing the sharp line of their jaw. Villain’s breath hitched despite themselves. “Come on Villain,” Hero grinned, “If we’re going to be partners I’ve got to know what you’re thinking.” They leaned closer, warm breath fanning across Villain’s neck, “Can’t have you going rogue.”
The words sent a shiver up Villain’s spine. One glance up and they knew they had been defeated. Hero’s eyes flickered as they smirked down on them.
Villain sighed, “Beautiful. I was going to say beautiful.”
“That’s right,” Hero backed off with a grin, waving a hand behind them as they passed through the doorway, “Hurry up now. We can’t be late when there’s a party to crash.”
Villain was quick to follow.

TW: Knives, references to violence, restraints, bruises/wounds, flirty?
I am literally sauurrr sorry for being so inactive but college is destroying me. It's been so long since I've written too, so I do hope the quality of this piece isn't affected. Missed u guys 💙
"Do I scare you?" the hero asked, her voice devoid of any emotion, all while her eyes stared straight through the villain like he was transparent, searching for something in his expression.
Except his face remained defiantly blank, looking up at her, fire in his honey brown eyes, surprisingly not sparing any effort to attempt escaping his restraints.
When the hero stuck one of her nails into a small, open cut on his neck, the villain bit back a wince, an irritated frown tugging at the corner of his lip. "Yes," he supplied, his tone even and calm, not even hostile, trying to render himself as passive as possible.
Except he'd licked his lip in that quick, almost imperceptible manner, something he only ever did when he lied, something the hero wasn't supposed to know.
But she did.
"Stop lying," she snarled, sticking her nail again in the cut.
"The hell do you want, Hero?" he snapped, hissing as her finger left his cut.
The breaking point. The point where the villain was done placating and playing along and already back to his normal, wild state, where he could care less about whatever earned the hero's ire.
She'd spent the last three hours mostly in silence, only ever talking to ask the villain a question she knew would irritate him. He held up surprisingly well, even though his self-preservation instincts were usually nowhere to be found. So she wondered why he'd act so placidly in the beginning.
The villain liked to talk. He did most of the talking during their fights. The quiet drove him insane, and now he had his teeth bared like an animal, murder in his eyes and tension in his jaw.
This was the part where the hero should've laughed or slapped him across the face, or done anything just as cruel.
The truth was that they'd both been nothing but cruel to each other, enemies by virtue. The villain had beat the hero black and blue, had called her a myriad of flithy names, had screamed at her because of how much he hated that she was quiet. In turn, the hero made sure that every nick with a knife and every punch against skin had left a mark on the villain. She fought to scar, not just to incapacitate. She knew the scars were more a wound to his ego than his body, proof she'd hurt him.
And yet, the villain had pulled her out of a ditch and bandaged up her nearly destroyed leg, effectively saving her life when he had no business being there. In turn, she'd pulled him up when he almost slipped off a roof during one of their fights.
And situations like that would only keep happening more and more often, almost a staple of their atypical relationship. The villain would laugh, would crack a joke, would be so careful with her wounds, would be anything but his usual abrasive self.
And the very next fight, they would be even more horrible to each other, as though whatever had happened the day before had never been, as though cruelty was the only language they could speak.
The hero didn't have friends. They were another luxury she couldn't afford. Her teammates weren't actively cruel or anything of the like, but the agency left no room for any semblance of friendship or love or all the things the hero wanted but could never really have. And the villain wasn't her friend. He wasn't supposed to be anyone. But he was genuine, almost the only person in her life who didn't sound and act like a robot. He'd had actual conversations with the hero. And maybe she was not stupid enough to think that made him any good, but maybe she was stupid enough to think that made him mean something to her.
"Answer me, Hero," he snarled coldly, tearing her chain of thought in half.
The hero didn't consider spending any time on thinking of an intelligible response. People weren't logical when they were desperate.  Desperate was the hero's hand cupping the villain's jaw so gently that the shiver up his spine was still awfully intense, even with his numb body. Desperate was staring into the villain's eyes, watching the way his lashes fluttered, as his eyes told a completely different story from the harsh frown on his lips. Desperate was the hero's lips on his cheekbone, warm against his skin, shy, terrified, staying there for a fleeting moment that still felt like too long and retracting away with shame written all over her features.
"I'm sorry."
Villain's eyes had widened, even though it seemed impossible they could grow any bigger. "I- come closer again," he half-whispered, all the roughness from his voice gone. "Lean down a little."
And the hero obliged, even though it went against every single thing she'd been taught, and in turn the villain's lips were pressed to her jaw, careful but in no way timid. They weren't supposed to be velvet-soft, and hints of the villain's spicy cologne shouldn't have still managed to be distinguishable through the blood and the sweat. But of course the seemingly impossible was happening.
"Yes," he answered, "you do scare me, but not in the way that you asked, so I was lying," he continued against the hero's jaw.
And she hated how palpable the relief was when he hadn't licked his lips.
"This is how you actually kiss someone." The smirk on the villain's face may have been merciless as he pulled away, but it was clear he was trying to break the tension that they could have sliced through with a blade.
God, the hero could barely breathe. She never knew something that felt almost forbidden could feel so right. She was scared the villain's response had been a trick and more scared that it hadn't. She wanted to scream at him and slam her fists into his body, to split his rose-petal-like lips with a jagged streak of crimson. But more than anything, she wanted him close enough to her that they were breathing each other's air, she wanted to kiss his face again, properly this time, so that it truly felt like something, something that set the hero's nerves on fire.
The hero had pulled out her twin knives, cutting through his ropes with one, while the other remained pressed against his carotid artery, as he still remained sitting on the chair.
Except the villain had pulled the knife out of her hand, slightly scratching himself, and he got up, twirling the knife with his hand and pressing its cold, flat edge to the hero's jaw, his breath warm on her face. "Don't fight it. That's all you've done, all I've done, and I'm sick of it."
And in all honesty, so was she. Sick of having no one, sick of wanting someone who was right there and yet so far away, sick of pushing a knife into the skin of the same boy who had bandaged her bleeding knuckles and made fun of the stupid kids' designs etched on them, the only thing he had, the next day after it happened.
The hero nodded, slowly putting her knives away when the villain handed her the other blade back, slinging an arm around the villain's waist, surprisingly small for someone so athletically built, but not any less attractive.
"Let's go home. I mean, my place," the villain suggested, utterly exhausted, but a hint of a smile was still there in his words as he wrapped his arm around the hero's shoulder, his fingers gripping onto the fabric of her suit a little playfully.
And the hero simply nodded, mirroring the villain's own soft smile.
Emotions are hard to understand, no rules or logic existent that could ever explain the power they hold over a person; the power that the heart exercises so ruthlessly over the mind. And yet nearly nothing could ever leave one feeling so certain, so absolutely euphoric to the point that not even the entire world would seem to matter compared to the one person love tethers you to.

“W–we're alone.” the hero nervously stated, a bit of sweat dripping down their forehead.
“Correct.” the villain purred, crowding them against the wall. “No pesky media to interrupt us in sight.”
The hero swallowed hard. They felt stupid for letting themself get caught again by the villain.
The villain grinned, all teeth, and pinned the hero to the wall, hands mercilessly on either side of their head, allowing no way to escape their grasp now.
The hero’s face reddened, still speechless.
“What’s the matter, darling? Cat got your tongue?” the villain tilted their head in a way that made the hero’s heart slam in their chest.
“Wh–what do you want?” it was barely above a whisper.
The villain ignored them, their luscious gaze flicked to the hero’s lips, and then back up to their eyes, drinking up the sight in front of them.
“You look beautiful like this, cornered and confused and so easily flustered. Makes me wonder what you’d look like if I just..” the villain leaned closer, their breath brushing hot against the hero’s ear.
The hero’s face coloured further, an unsavoury feeling blooming in their stomach. “Get away from me.” they hated the crack in their voice.
“But your little reactions are just so adorable, darling.” the villain murmured, voice honeyed and thick.
“Let—” the hero’s voice cut to gasp as the villain started trailing kisses down their neck. They bit their lip, resisting the moan rising in their throat.
“S–stop..” the hero managed, begging, “You can’t just.. just kiss me–.. like that.”
They felt cold as the villain suddenly let go of them, feeling strangely empty, like a part of them was missing.
“Well, that was fun. See you next time.” the villain said and was about to turn around to leave when the hero, unable to suppress their instincts, clutched their shirt and yanked them back, pressing their lips together in a passionate kiss.
Not a prompt.

hi hi hiii! can i request a swordfighting scene between villain and their sidekick? anything else is up to you <3
 CW. Blood
“You are the hero's comrade.” the villain sneered, pointing the edge of the blade against the sidekick's neck. The sword was imbued in a bloody red aura, cracking after it grazed the sidekick's skin; whose blood trickled down without the wound healing. The villain's gaze darkened by the sight of the blood, cutting the wound deeper while ignoring the winces leaving the sidekick's throat. They wanted this person's cut off, but wouldn't it make the hero sad?

They raised their sword, preparing the blade to cut the sidekick's neck with graceful control and precision. But before their blade reaches the sidekick's skin, a shimmering yellow aura halts them, knocking the blade out of the villain's hand. The hero came to save the day, kicking the sidekick away from their enemy's reach, and slashing strands of the villain's hair. Their blade was close to cutting their enemy's neck, but crimson red energy halted their sword. All they could do was grit their teeth in annoyance, pulling away their swords and swinging on the other side of the villain's neck.

But this time, the villain created a vicious crimson sword with black and red edges fighting in dominance; in which, defending the hero's second attack. “Long time no see, hero,” they snickered, their black robes swinging with the breeze while dodging the hero's impending attacks. Their swords clashed together at a speed no human could see, and despite having power— the sidekick could only grit their teeth for not being able to watch them fight. Even if they try to help the hero, they'll die in a single incision, without mercy.

The fight never ends as the dust continues to cloud around them, their powers fighting in a lightning strike for every clash of their blades.  Gold and crimson dance inside the globe of dust, and it is clear none of them desires to give up. The sidekick watched the fight , waiting for the hero to come out with the villain's head in their hand. The swords meeting together finally come to an end, then the globe of dust fades.

The villain's sword breaks into pieces, but recreates again with a single snap of their finger. Their hero, yet, only wiped their sweat and raised their hand— pulling the invisible thread they tied around the villain— their nemesis came flying in front of them, kneeling like an obedient dog with a leash on their neck.

“Fascinating,” the villain said, dropping their sword on the ground and dissipating into the air. “I never knew you had such a playful trick,”

“Of course, you knew.” the hero stared at the villain's grin, but why does the sidekick feel betrayed rather than excited? The hero has the villain's life on their hand, this is worth celebrating! They stood up but fell on the ground as if they were limp. Confusion played on their faces, they were about to shout for the hero's help but stopped when no sound came

out of their mouth.

What the hell is happening?

“You tried to kill my sidekick.” they ran their thumb on the villain's lips, gazing at their villain like how a lover would stare at each other. “And you've fallen in love with my thread like a dog feeling a sense of belonging, how could I not suspect that you want to experience it again?”

Those words sent heat down on the villain’s body, acting like this is indeed worth it if the hero is going to treat them in this way. They intentionally covered the sidekick’s presence, even if the hero is well aware their comrade is watching with an open eye. Both chose to ignore the surprised sidekick, covering their eyesight with fog for them to stop peeping. The hero gave a side way glance on their helpless sidekick staring in nowhere, then returned their gaze at the villain on their knees.

“What experience?” the villain asked, batting their eyelashes as a faint breath escaped their lips after the hero pulled the thread up— blood trickled on the golden thread, grazing the villain's skin like a scalpel. Rather than wincing on the pain, a leer draws on their lips, gazing at the hero with hazy eyes. They reached at their neck, feeling the dull thread on their neck and the blood decorated on it. “Oh this?”

“… Exactly,” the hero muttered under their breath, their aloof gaze unalterable, though there was a faint blush flushing on their ears that the villain noticed. The villain cocked their head, extending their hand to stroke the blood on the hero’s cheeks, down to their lips. A smile ran on their lips, staring at their hero with daring eyes. They stopped their hand on the hero’s chest, clutching it, and ripping it apart, revealing the fresh wound they marked yesterday. The fresh wound scarred into the villain’s initials, their eyes flashing red when the blood on their hand marks it again.

“I wonder who is the real dog right now,”

“For such a cute little kitten to want a leash, you are really daring.” the hero breathed out, “I may be your loyal servant, but it doesn’t mean that I can’t tie you up in a bed.”

Well, this one was a really fun piece! One of the 2022 last pieces before 2023!
