Family Formations - Birds and Bees.

“SATORU” A yell sounds as you come crashing through your bedroom drawer.

“Y/N!” The white-haired man currently lounging on the bed replies.

Then you start rambling so damn fast that even he can’t keep up with the speed of your words.

“Princess. You’re gonna need to start that again. Maybe throw in some breathing this time round.” He smirks.

“Satoru. Tsumiki - she’s gotten her period. I’ve explained it to her but ‘Toru - we’ve never given them THE TALK. The birds and the bees.” You scramble to sit on the bed with him.

“Baby, they know what birds and bees are,” Satoru says, completely confused as to why you think they need a nature lecture.

“No, ‘Toru. THE TALK. The horizontal tango, matrimonial polka, a bit of how’s yer father, squat thrusts in the cucumber patch, creaming the twinkly.” You stare so seriously at him, his hands clasped in yours.

He just blinks at you.

“Y/N, are you okay? Are you like… malfunctioning?” He asks, genuinely concerned.

“Jesus ‘Toru! Sex!” You say, shaking his shoulder.

His eyes light up.

“Hell yeah, just lock the door.” He says as he begins to unbutton his jeans.

“No! Well, yes! But later! Satoru – we’ve never spoken to the kids about sex, that kind of talk! They’re 12 and 13! They’re gonna start hearing things in school, and they’ll have questions about their bodies – I don’t want them to have an unhealthy relationship with sex! Or their bodies! We’ve spoken to them about the basics, they both know about periods, what boobs are, how to keep yourself clean, what touch is good and what is inappropriate, and that they can say no to someone wanting affection. We’ve done all the basics, but what about like – the sexual parts, like they know what sex is, we’ve talked to them about the physical side of things, like what goes where –” You were just babbling again, you and Satoru were only 24 – how the fuck do you parent teenagers?

“Oh my god, I’ve never explained wet dreams! He’s gonna think he’s dying!” Satoru has realised that this is an issue.

Maybe in 10 years, you’ll realise how badly you’re both overreacting.

But probably not.

“Tsumiki knows there are 2 separate holes – I taught her that when her first period came. Megumi knows what a period is, we’ve never hidden any bodily functions from them – they know the logistics of everything. Wait, what else do we tell them?” You were so close to ripping out your hair.

“Condoms!” Satoru exclaims, and points at you.

“Condoms!” You agree.

“Do we have any? We need a banana – or maybe a cucumber?” He begins searching the bedside tables.

“Satoru we’ve never once used a condom, I’ve an IUD! Oh god, we’re such bad role models.”

This frenzy goes on for another hour before you both have a basket of stuff, and you call the kids into the living room. You already know that you might have to pin Megumi down, so he listens. You both decided that there were no questions off limits, 12 and 13 were tricky ages, and you both decided you wanted them to go into the world armed with healthy, positive information instead of keeping things secret and them finding out stuff from friends or porn.

“Is everything okay?” Tsumiki smiles, as she takes a spot on the cosy sofa.

“I was reading – what do you both need?” Grumbles Megumi – those teenage hormones reminding you why you’re here.

“So! We wanna talk to you guys about, drumroll, please… BOINKING!” Satoru says, with jazz hands for panache.

“What the hell is boinking?” Megumi asks, already disgusted.

“Exactly why we’re here! Your mom and I want you both to know all about the human body and the delightful pleasures it can bring. Your bodies are growing and changing, and soon enough you’re going to start feeling some funny things!” Satoru has sat on the opposite loveseat, with you beside him.

“Oh. My. God.” Tsumiki’s mouth drops open.

“What?” Megumi asks, suspiciously.

“Oh no. Why? Why me? Why today?” She laments.

“Can someone tell me what’s happening?” The young boy grumbles.

“They’re giving us the talk.”

“Oh, please God no.”

“Yes!” Satoru smiles, slapping his knee.

“Guys – I know how much you two are gonna hate this. I hated it when my mom did it too, but this is us keeping you two safe okay? Plus, wouldn’t you rather have all the facts, Megumi?” You knew that appealing to Tsumiki’s emotions and Megumi’s practicality would at least make them sit for a while.

“We’re not getting out of this, are we?”

“Make it quick.”

“Okay! So you guys know what sex is – two people expressing emotions, physically. If between a man and a woman, it can create a baby. But there are loads of types of sex, and it doesn’t have to be between a guy and a girl.” You start.

“Yeah! Like your mom and I are both bisexual, so that means we’ve both – too personal, point taken” Satoru was cut off by both of them glaring.

“So if a man and a woman are having sex…” You begin the explanations of what goes where, the changes that will happen once they start to get older, the science behind things, the fun stuff – masturbation is okay – and healthy! Then that sex can be lots of different things, never feel rushed to do anything with anyone, a quick (and very painful for the kids, possibly scarring) demonstration from you of how to put on a condom (thankfully, you had bananas), different forms of contraception and safety.

All in all, you and Satoru thought it went great

By the end of everything you could think of, Megumi had a pillow on his face and Tsumiki’s eyes seemed glazed over. That means it sank in.

“Okay! So if you guys have questions, never get scared to ask us! Believe us, we’ve probably done way worse!” Satoru says.

“That’s very true! And if you guys don’t wanna ask out loud you can write us a note, maybe?”

“Oh! Important! Megumi – you don’t just gotta ask me, you can ask mom too because believe me she knows her way around a male –” You slap your hand over his mouth. His big, idiotic mouth.

“That’s true though, just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean I can’t answer your questions, and the same goes for you Tsumiki with dad, okay?” You softly smile at them, you’re aware that pretty much everything you and your fiancé do is utterly chaotic - it’s in both your natures, but you hope that maybe – them both knowing that you guys are also absolute messes will make them feel better about coming to you. Because no matter what, you’re their mom and dad.

“Do you guys have any questions?” You ask.

“No holes barred! Ask away!” Satoru chimes in.

“I do. Ehm… can you get pregnant from a toilet seat?” Tsumiki asks.

“No – you can’t. It’s gotta get right up there.” You reply.

Tsumiki giggles at this and proceeds to ask a ton more –very clever, questions, ranging from who grows hair where to do boys have a clitoris.

Tsumiki then excuses herself to the bathroom, and you glance at a squirming Megumi.

“Nothing off limits, ‘Gumi. Promise.” Satoru smiles at him.

“Um… if a guy does… that… with anyone guy – how do they know who, oh my god I hate my life, howdotheyknowwhoputsthepenisinandhowhasitinthem.” He couldn’t have spoken faster. Physically.

You take a second to try and decipher his words.

“Well, that’s an individual thing! It depends on the couple, it alternates sometimes, and sometimes there’s one person who prefers each type of feeling. The best thing to do is just ask and communicate and read the situation.” You speak.

“It’s different for every couple kiddo – and that’s what makes it all fun because what you will have with each person is gonna be unique. Just talk shit out, and see what the vibes are like. Explore different things too.” Satoru says, leaning back on the loveseat, this is a side of Satoru you absolutely cherish – you love all of him, but this vulnerable, soft, honest side is reserved for those he loves the most.

Tsumiki comes into the room. Her face was white as a sheet.

“You okay, ‘Miki?” You ask.

“The sound. The banging sound I heard, when we were on vacation. That wasn’t the pipes hitting the wall, was it?” She asks as if asking if the ghost in her room was real.

You couldn’t help but laugh, because no – it wasn’t. Your rooms in your cottage were all soundproofed, the hotel in Okinawa, not so much.

“So you see Tsumiki – when a mommy and daddy love each other veryyyyyy –” Satoru says with a huge evil grin on his face and you laugh yourself into knots beside him.

“No! Shut up!” They both run like the wind down the hall.

“Parents boink too, Tsumiki! It means we love each other so much we just –”

“STOP PLEASE STOP!” You hear coming from the kid’s rooms. That was them locked away for the night.

Maybe the teenage years will be kinda fun, if you get to keep messing with them. The title of embarrassingly in love parents fits you guys after all.

“So you know earlier… I said ‘later’?” You turn to your fiancé, resting your hand on his thigh.

“Yeah, princess?” He smirks, tilting your chin up with a long index finger.

“It’s later.” You giggle, grabbing his hand and running down the hall with him to your – thankfully – soundproofed room.

Runaway {pt 2}

Parts: One , Three

Synopsis: Small Family moment with your Brothers. Ao’nung confesses why he stayed. Ao’nung hissing at his mom

“Sister. I bring you my hunt today” Lo’ak said barging in as if you hadn’t been asleep.

Groaning, you rubbed your head as you sat up. “Eywa, Lo’ak you could have at least made noise just so i wake up normally”

“Sorry”

You could see Neteyam come up behind him and smacked him.

“You’ll be happy to know Everything is well in the family. Cant say Lo’ak hasn’t gotten into a few scuffles here and there however”

“ I have not!”

“Of course he did”

Neteyam nodded. He had always been able to confide with you as you two both had the same responsibility to look after your youngers. “I am guilty of it too tho. Had to make sure this Skxawng didn't get lost as sea as well”

“Translation: He wanted to have fun” Lo’ak Said slicing the fish he had Brought to you

You could only roll your eyes as you took a bit of the fruit that had been left there.

“I heard Ronal isn’t at all too pleased to know Ao’nung stayed here last night” Neteyam said

“HE STAYED HERE? AT NIGHT? WITH YOU?”

“Oh please I was asleep. Apparently the fool slept sitting” you spoke watching Lo’ak prepare your food. Luckily enough he was getting better and better. Perhaps your mother taught him a thing or two. “However, I am going to ask Ronal if she could Teach me. Not train me per say but hopefully something so i can repay her kindness. I mean once this baby is born its really just Tsireya. I would like to help her, you know?”

“Hmm Maybe. If Ronal would allow you such” Neteyam said Splitting the food to you three.

“Where’s The rest of the family?”

“Mom is preparing some food for Kiri and Tuk. I think Dad’s still Out with Tonowari? I dont know for what really tho so i cant really say” Neteyam spoke handing you bits and pieces of the fish and fruit.

It made you smile, and roll your eyes. You weren’t a child but it was nice of him to know he still cared for you as such. Even tho you werent at all that much younger than him.

“I see” You nodded as you continued to eat. You should give Lo’ak credit for the meat being prepared well.

“Its nice all of us. Eating like this”

“Yeah cause we don't eat” You spoke feeling a hard slap to your side. “LO’AK?”

“You know what i mean okay”

“Lo’ak do not hurt our sister. Cant you see she is on her deathbed”

“You both are the worst you know? It would be you dead if i hadn’t stepped in you know?”

It was just this for a while. You didnt count the seconds that passed. You just basked in it. But soon they had to leave. You bid them farewell and to tell the rest of the family to enjoy their night. As you sat there. Waiting. And it hadn’t been long till you heard the jostling of beads at the door.

“You may come in”

To no one's surprise but maybe Ao’nung himself. He stepped in. “Mother brought this” he spoke, handing you the bowl of very still Wet Algae along with some roots that had been boiled alongside it. “Its suppose to help with any internal pain you may feel"

“Thank you” If it was bitter tasting well you didnt have to let him know. “ i heard you got one nasty cramp on your back since you stayed here last night”

“Well you heard wrong”

“Ao’nung. I saw you” You said giggling a bit to see his ears flatten.

“Alright well what do you want me to do? You were basically giving me your last words last night. Cant exactly sleep knowing id be blamed for leaving you alone” He said moving the mess your brother’s didnt exactly clean up.

“Im sorry i left you on such a bad note” You apologized. Drinking the last bit of the bland broth and chewing on the roots.

“Man. Your Brothers suck at cleaning you know?”

“They tried their best” You could only chew harder. The question is harboring in your mind “may i ask you something?”

“You already did. But go on” Ao’nung sat in front of you.

“Do you think, I could ask your mother to teach me some stuff? Not Tsahik training or anything of that sort. But just to help her when your sibling is born?”

“I mean i dont think she’ll like it all too much. But she's a reasonable woman. So i know she'll teach you if you ask” Ao’nung took your fruit bowl from you and began eating “But you are the most Reasonable from your siblings too. Given you haven’t gotten into fights and you have learned our ways faster than your siblings. Well aside your sister”

“ i guess you’re right, Maybe i did more good in not joining in on kicking your ass”

“Pff. You think you can beat me?”

“In anything Fish lips”

Ao’nung couldn't help but laugh. Making you smile as you watched.

“I think this is the first time i heard you laugh like that. Its nice” you smiled at him looking at the floor as you felt your hair fall down.

“Was the way i laughed before ugly or something?”

“Way to ruin the moment” you laughed a little rubbing your temple. “I meant in a sense where you aren't laughing out of mocking someone y'know?”

“Oh”

“Yeah oh” You Were getting tired. The food and the pain numbing as you laid down. “Now if you may. You better get going before your mother gets mad for you staying here again” you didn’t wait for a respond. Not that you could hold the sleep coming to you

But Ao’nung didnt move. His spear now at his side as he sat between your sleeping form and the only entrance to this place. He didn't know why. But something in him told him to just protect you while you were in this vulnerable state.

He thought himself crazy. Why was he so persistent on caring for you? Why did he agree with his mother? Why wasn’t he bothered? But seeing you just lay there made him think. Made him fall back on seeing your body heave and wheeze with the pain of having an open wound. You were nearly dead. You almost died. It did not only affect Tsireya but himself too.

He just kept watch grip tightening when he heard the faintest of noise. Tail laying atop of you making sure you kept breathing. Letting out a low hiss when he saw the curtain open. But quickly dropping his ears.

“Ao’nung! Its time you head home” His mother spoke. Stern and cold. Looking down at you as you didnt stir.

“But”

“No, I will not argue this. You are to go home and she will be sleeping here tonight alone. You can see her again tomorrow evening. I dont know why you want to but you can then. For now go home and head to bed” She ordered leaving no room to argue.

She watched as he bit back his tongue. Standing up spear in hand as he walked out. Ronal only turned to look at you. Placing the wet paste on top of the sheer wraps around you. “ I dont get what this boy sees in protecting you. You are safe and alive. It should be enough” She muttered out.

“Nete..yam”

She looked at you. Your worried expression trembled as your hand shook and moved slightly, reaching out. She could only sigh in exhaustion. ‘Soon’ she thought as she had to think. She would rather swallow her pride than let Neytiri help her as she had offered for helping her children. But realistically what other option was there, she thought.

“Hush now. You are well as is he” she could only whisper as if to ease your worried mind. Eywa had saved you, and that should be enough.

yup! so about that au... what's mob's feelings about teru? does he care about him? does he try to give him the benefit of the doubt? does he hate everything about him but thinks he's attractive? would love to know lol

so to answer that I'm gunna explain that the au is structured like this:

canonically, mogami wants to teach mob to be selfish, and to draw from negative emotions. he uses minori to do it; she bullies him until he snaps and mogami lets him reawaken to his powers in a violent context.

in this au, teruki comes with to the exorcism and ends up possessed to bait mob. except once mogamis in his head he's like oh YOU get it. that's exactly how teru was living as a kid. so you're going to teach him what you already knew how to do.

so mob wakes up in the mirror world freshly transferred to black vinegar and is immediately latched on to by edano and other boys in his gang. this draws terus attention to mob after a few weeks and he starts isolating him to bully himself (terus pretty obsessed w mob anyway, so that thread gets pulled, but also 🏳️‍🌈❓).

it builds until mob awakens to his powers to get teru off his back and teru pounces on it for a hierarchy fight immediately. he's ELATED to find another esper (in the show he says he has so many questions / stop rejecting me / don't leave me) so they throw down but mobs powers are tuned to lose the fight, so teru snaps him up to be his guard dog.

from terus perspective he's just found the perfect disciple. they're two of a kind. and he becomes VERY possessive of mob, and in turn, mob has the traits easily influenced & deeply loyal, so even if he feels prickly about terus attitude, he sucks like a magnet to his hip anyway bc hes the closest thing mob has to a friend.

they're both very lonely and ultimately scared kids right. so the enmeshment is pretty immediate and they start spending about all their time together bc the alternative is an empty grey city. mob fights most of terus fights for him, and thru it develops a much more physical outlet for his emotions (as opposed to verbal gentleness that is largely taught by reigen).

which.. leads to rubs when teru does stupid shit to get mobs attention and it works Too Well bc mob has no idea how to communicate it so he gets In terus personal space, pushes him around, gives him these autistic Stares but ultimately neither of them actually know how to wrangle the like oh God he's a life raft to me and I want to kiss him emotions so they act out stupid instead.

it's like.. idk I want to see their traits laid out in a more toxic light but also they're still obsessed with each other. and ultimately yeah mob does learn to be a lot more selfish and to use his powers for personal gain and teruki has to experience what his life would have been like if mob didn't check him. for fun. and flavor.

and boy does it make for the most awkward post arc reunion ever bc they get back to reality and reigen and dimple are like OH THANK GOD and then they look at each other and it's like. uhm. where do I even start lmfao

Gareth Emerson Headcanons No One Asked For

So these are just my headcanons, that could totally be out of character, but idk. I wish we had more content with him

Also, some info isn't correct like their ages, but idc. I wrote this super late at night so it's probably unorganized and stuff, but I hope you enjoy

(i also update this whenever I think of something else abt him)

• His full name is Gareth Benjamin Emerson II bc I said so

• that's where Gareth The Great comes from

• he wants the distinction that he's the great one

• he's the middle child

• his sister, Carys is three years older than him and moved out to go to college

• his other sister, Gwyneth is 8

• his parents are bigshot lawyers in Indianapolis so most of the time it's only him and Gwyn at home

• idk I love the idea of older brother Gareth

• (Gareth puts Gwyn in after school programs, which is how he does Hellfire)

• He matches other people's energies. Like the energy someone gives him is the energy he throws back

• Ex: when Jason yelled at him and Gareth yelled back the exact same way

• The man is brutally honest

• Unnecessarily brutal tho

• He can and will insult someone by complete accident

• He's also super aggressive when he plays the drums

• Slamming on his kit and screaming to their newest song

• As one does

• He breaks his sticks ridiculously often

• (He likes to throw them around, especially at Eddie)

• Speaking of Eddie

• They met when they were decently young

• Around middle school

• Gareth was the kid who was effortlessly cool

• Eddie, on the other hand, was trying SO HARD to be cool

• He was going for the whole punk rock thing when he buzzed his head

• He made it his mission to befriend Gareth at any cost

• But Gareth HATED him

• Well, hatred is a strong word. He didn't care for Eddie like Eddie cared for him

• Gareth just wanted to be by his lonesome, as edgy middle schoolers do

• But Eddie is persistent and will not leave this boy alone

• It doesn't matter that Gareth is two years younger than him

• He wants Gareth to be his friend and that's final

• They eventually become friends when they realize they both like D&D

• When they get to highschool tho

• The dynamic flips

• Since Eddie's older, he has two years to become the Cool Kid that attracts the other freaks and weirdos

• Gareth was kinda scared they wouldn't be friends anymore

• But Eddie doesn't let go of Gareth

• They're besties

• Gareth was Eddie's first bandmate and the first member of Hellfire

• Gareths 'queer awakening' was Eddie but nothing ever happen other than a kiss or two when Eddie was high

• Gareth doesn't do drugs

• He drinks tho

• He has a very strange moral code that only he understands

• Also he was the first one to get a car out of all his friends

• He drives like a mad man

• Do not let this man behind the wheel

• Speed limits are merely a suggestion

• He also doesn't know what it means to gradually brake. He slams on those bitches

• (only when Gwyn's not in the car, he's not an irresponsible brother, thank you very much)

• He gets better eventually

• Eddie learns to drive so he can properly teach Gareth (who taught himself)

• He constantly taps the steering wheel

• Even if there's no music playing

• Gareth is loud and he is chaotic

• He probablys has some sort of undiagnosed adhd

• But y'know, it's the 80s. Mental illness doesn't exist or whatever

• Gareth is just trying to live his life's you know?

• Oh also, this boy has attitude for DAYS

• Like holy shit

• He can talk shit like no one else

• It's only when he's really mad tho

• He just runs his mouth and he doesn't know when to stop

• But the things he says are genuinely true and his insults hit home and it pisses the other person off

• As a result, Gareth is decently fast bc getting beat up isn't fun

• He's got into his share of fights tho

• But he usually avoids them

• He's more bark than bite. But his bark is totally worse

• He either had a septum or a nose ring

• He's the type to judge movies the entire time it's on

• He makes smartass comments under his breath

• Laughs at inappropriate times

• (Like when a character dies)

• He only drinks red drinks

• Or from red cans

• Dr pepper is his best friend

• He also loves cherry anything

• He'd be the red character

But now onto some dating hcs

• He likes to hold hands

• A LOT

• He's just a big fan of physical contact

• He also loves when his hair is played with

• His love language is gift giving

• Well moreso just giving in general

• His rings, clothes, etc

• He just gives them to his partner randomly

• ALSO ROCKS

• he collects rocks

• He's been doing it since he was a kid

• He probably has one of those jars that you put a rock in when ur happy

• He has a lot of rocks in his jar

• He's given all his friends a rock

• Eddie has several

• His partner also has many

• He would be so happy to find out you actually keep them

• Whenever you guys go on a date, he gives you a rock

• He also has a rock and he writes the date on it

• He starts a new jar just for the date-rocks

• Those are extra special, he finds the best rocks he can for you and him

• But moving on from rocks

• He invites you to his shows

• And band practice

• Eddie hates it bc he gets distracted

• But he gets so happy when he sees you watching him play

• He plays extra well

• Once he can take his eyes off you that is

• But let's rewind to the beginning of your relationship

• You meet him through Eddie

• After a few days of hanging out together he invited you to dinner

• (You order takeout and go back to his place)

• It's nice, it's just the two of you in his bedroom, the dim tv illuminating it

• He confesses to you right when you take a drink of whatever it is you're drinking

• You choke

• And Gareth ofc laughs bc that's who he is

• But you say you like him back and viola

• You're dating

• He's fond of drive-in movie dates

• Even though it's like an hour drive to the next city where the theater is

• He's a movie geek

• It's definitely his sister's fault

• Both of them

• You think it's adorable tho

• HE TALKS THROUGH MOVIES

• THE WHOLE TIME

• HE MAKES SMARTASS COMMENTS UNDER HIS BREATH

• And you're sitting next to him just cracking up at his commentary

• Bc really, it's entertaining

• He calls you all kinds of different nicknames

• He's looking for one to stick

• So he just had a continual rotating arsenal of nicknames that he likes to use

• Your nicknames for him usually revolve around drumming

• He's not amused

• You are tho, teasing him is your favorite pastime

• And he just stares at you with his flat, deadpan look

• His arms crossed and everything

• He teases you back ofc, but sometimes you can't tell when he's joking bc of his tone

• But that's what makes it fun

however, you got me thinking about how that juxtaposition would be for neil during the holidays. it got more christmas-y than NYE-ish though, so apologies if you're not rly into xmas... I'm usually not either lol. buuuuuut i wrote this:

There are no flights this year. No Exy, either. Wymack changed the codes to the court before he and Abby left to celebrate the holidays in the Bahamas. Neil does have one new wound: a paper cut he received while Nicky taught him how to wrap presents. It’s deep enough to need a bandaid, but not enough that he’ll remember it this time next year — not the way Evermore haunts the edges of Neil’s mind.

The memories come to him in hazy fractures, seconds-long intrusions that make his stomach roil. The phantom of the Ravens’ grueling schedule is messing with his sleep. Neil tries to lie still in the dark bedroom, but he keeps Andrew up too. Or maybe Andrew just has his own ghosts. Regardless, Andrew wraps himself around Neil from behind until late in the night, a silent commitment to rest even if sleep itself won’t come.

Those are just moments, though; blips in a winter break spent at the Columbia house. The present day is lazy and cheerful and warm enough to chase away the chill of the past.

“Are you having fun, Neil?” Nicky asks.

They’re in the living room, and the space is lit only by the television and the colorful lights on the tree. Earlier, when they’d driven around looking at other people’s Christmas lights, Neil had to sit half in Erik’s lap in order to cram four people in the backseat of the car. The lights were pretty. One house had taxidermy deer that disgusted Kevin but fascinated Aaron. Another had a sign with instructions to tune into a radio station where they were broadcasting music that synced up to the lights flashing on the house. Some of the streets they drove down were lined with houses lit up so brightly that it nearly gave the illusion of daylight.

Andrew pokes Neil in the cheek, bringing him back to the present once more. Nicky stares at him expectantly. There’s a mug of cooled cocoa in his hands. The credits roll on a claymation movie that Neil had only sort of watched through drooping eyelids. Andrew’s arm is a heavy, warm weight across the back of Neil’s shoulders, and his fingers occasionally trace the seams of Neil’s shirt. He hasn’t let go of Neil since they got home.

“Yeah,” Neil says. Nicky grins. Andrew draws circles against Neil’s shoulder. “Thanks. I really am.”

• it wasn't easy but being a really determined kid you went on a mission to get your brothers some presents (April helped you get some of them because she was a little concerned you could get in trouble doing this all on your own and almost got a heart attack more times she wanted to admit)

• when you achieved your task successfully it was time to deliver the items to each of the turtles

• and when I tell you he was extremely happy I mean he was absolutely delighted when you handed him that super rare cooking book that got sold out years ago and no one was printing it anymore

• when the doors opened you went straight to the chair he was sitting at, tinkering with things you did not recognize

• Donnie isn't very good at expressing his gratitude but the excited sparkle in his eyes resured you he really liked that computer chip that he tried to get a grasp on for quiet some time now and even though you may not understand what exactly was so special about it, seeing the turtle so happy was enough to make your efforts on getting it worth

• and speaking of that "I am grateful for this thoughtful gift but, uh, could you enlighten me on how did you get into a possession of something so-"

• you, again, decided to disappear into thin air

• finally, the last one on your list, the oldest big brother, Raph

• finding him was easy, it was the time of the day for his training, so you headed to the dojo, already hearing him from afar

• announcing your arrival, not wanting to accidentally get hit, he greeted you with a smile and pat on the head

He looks exactly like the kind of guys that dont want anything to do with a shy bookish thing like yourself.

"Go, I'll be right here." jungkook offers, and Yuri finally nods before she runs off to meet her friends. "I- thanks a lot." he says yet again, and you turn around and look a bit confused.

"Her stutter has improved a lot. Im glad she's finally coming out of her shell, and I think it's mostly because of your efforts." he explains, and you wave him off.

"ah, I guess I just saw myself in her a little. I had similar problems, so I simply did what I could've needed as a child her age." you tell him, and he nods with a smile. He can probably tell you were an awkward kid. Now he probably thinks even less of you.

But he simply carries on conversation the entire day, helping you keep the kids in check while also offering his help for any upcoming events or projects you'd like to organize.

He's nice, you think. Too bad that's all there is to it.

Fast forward several months, and you have a feeling that something's up with Jungkook.

He's dancing around something whenever he talks to you, never really saying what he wants to say- until finally, today, he's spilling what he's been trying to say for days. "I.. Would you like to maybe join me for Dinner tonight?" he asks, as you're packing up your things in the classroom. At first, you want to shrug and say yes, maybe he wants to talk to you about something- but oddly enough, you don't think that's his intention.

Yuri had told you she's spending the weekend at her uncle's place. And the way the man across from you squirms a bit in his spot, tells you that he's shooting for a.. Date?

"are you asking me for a date, mister Jeon?" you ask, and he plays a bit with his lip ring, before he nods.

"I am. Is that weird?" he wonders, and your cheeks turn a bit red at that.

"I- no, well, yes-" you struggle, before throwing your bag over your shoulder, holding it close. "-I.. I am very sorry, but I'm not one for one-night-stands or anything of that nature-"

"no no no!" he instantly panics, before running a hand through his hair. "I actually.. Listen I kind of really want to get to know you, as a person, not just a hit and run kind of thing, promise!" he vows, and after a small moment, you nod.

"okay." you say, and his shoulders droop, before he visibly realizes you've accepted his offer.

"yes? Yes! Fuck yeah- I mean heck yeah, I mean-" he slowly walks backwards out of your classroom, bright grin on his face as he claps his hands once in victory. "okay, yeah, I'll- I'll see you at 5- no! I'll pick you up at 5? Send me your address I'll pick you up!" he rambles, before he speedwalks out of the school building, leaving you grinning like a schoolgirl by yourself.

Maybe he's not that kind of guy.

You've never had the pleasure of being screwed in someone's kitchen like in some K-Drama final episode- and right now, thats exactly what seems to be happening.

He's a really good cook, you've got to say. He put great effort in what he'd prepared, and it just felt right to help him wash the dishes afterwards. He'd told you about his ex girlfriend trying to bind him to herself by basically doing the old safety-pin to the condom trick; ending up pregnant, and giving birth to Yuri. my unhinged laurance zvahl headcanons 🫠

- Laurance has a BUNCH of ear piercings. Candenza made him swear not to get any facial piercings, and she's one of the only people he listens to. He did get a belly button piercing to spite her tho :)

- He has a lot of nervous ticks. He used to play with his hair when it was long, but when Cadenza cut it, he started cracking his knuckles and picking at his nailbeds. When Aphmau notices him doing this, she lets him play with her hair.

- GARRANCEMAU. POLYCULE. It was kind of unspoken for a while, and then Garroth got left behind in the Irene Dimension. So, Laurance and Aph got really close. However, nothing was official so she got with Aaron. Laurance and Garroth only ever realized after he had died. Garroth understood, he knew that the polycule wasn't too serious. However, Laurance on the other hand, didn't understand that. Plus, he was dealing with the calling and whatnot. There was a rift in the relationship for a while after that.

- All of the kids in the village love Laurance. I mean, we know he was one of Malachai's biggest role models, and Laur had also grown attached to him. But, he also kinda becomes Naoki (Nekoette but less problematic) and Dmitri's babysitter. He's always been good with kids, but MY IRENE he cannot handle Naoki. Leona also likes to hang around him, as well.

- Laurance used to have a fascination with fire when he was little. (i mean the man has adhd and u know how we r with fire.) He would stare at it for hours. It was the only thing that really calmed his brain. But now, he can't stand it. He can stay near a fire for warmth of course, but he's never the one to start or feed it. He can't look at it anymore. Too many memories. The fire is literally a part of him now. His new body was forged from it. There's no need to stare into the flames. He just has to look in the mirror.

- He's still blind, somewhat. His eyesight wasn't miraculously healed. He has to wash his face in the fountain of Lady Irene every so often, or his vision will completely blur. Even then, there's still spots that never go away, mostly on the outer field of his vision. He has reading glasses, as well.

- He's very physically affectionate. He plays with Aphmau's hair. He grazes over Garroth's hands constantly, running his thumb on all the marks in his palm or his scarred knuckles. When he was younger, he would always find something to fiddle with on Cadenza's clothes.

- He would model for Cadenza a lot. Before becoming a Shadow Knight, he was very comfortable in his body and his masculinity, so playing dress up was honestly very fun.

- Laurance always has to do something with his hands, so he takes up a lot of different crafts. Tying knots, woodcarving (thank you @xerith-42 for that one lmao), making jewelry. (In my hc my OC taught him how to make jewelry, but we don't have to get into that now haha)

- Laurance has Brazilian heritage, and even though he was an orphan, there's a large Brazilian population in Meteli and he was raised around the culture. Hayden kept Laurance very informed on his roots, and in turn Cadenza got to experience all of this as well. (I wanna go into this further at some point but I want to do the proper research first.)

- Since SKs don't need as much sleep, most nights Laurance just wanders Phoenix Drop. That's why he's usually the first to know when something's wrong.

- Before Laurance became an official guard, he was sort of a... vigilante. Bringing justice in the dead of night type beat. When he was younger, in his early teens, there was a high crime rate in Meteli. So, if Laurance saw someone stealing, or trying to break in somewhere, he'd tie them up and leave them outside the guard station for the authorities to deal with them.

SPOILERS ABOUND. I'M NOT GOING TO BE NORMAL ABOUT THIS IT'LL PROBABLY GET SUPER LONG

Okay so Casey Marie's muscles are something I'm never going to get over. SHE LOOKS GOOD!!!!! Her getup is feeling a little too reminiscent of a cape-wielding superhero for my tastes to be honest - I really loved the more practical outfits she wore in TLR Lost Years, especially in issue 4 when she was running the training mission for the kids. But ah well, I'm sure this will grow on me. It may not be practical (edna's law of no capes is coming to mind, also PLEASE TIE YOUR HAIR UP WHEN YOU'RE FIGHTING GIRL!!!) but it's very cunty anyway which I appreciate

FINAL THOUGHTS:

dude that first issue was wordy but the kids were ON POINT. they were so fun!! their dialogue is fun and they kick ass.

i loved yi announcing the punishment for casey while the others were like NOO SHE DIDNT MEAN THAT DONT LISTEN TO HER. we're getting more of their personalities and it's great!! it was a nice throwback to issue 2 of lost years when they were cleaning - yi refused to help because of how strictly she was following instructions. im picking up that she might be neurodivergent but i did get that from the lost years too - only doing things within strict instructions, getting frustrated at teaching odyn chess, not because of him playing horseys with the knights but that it was Against The Rules Of Chess - and now not picking up on some social cues. It's nice to see!! I love her very much, but it feels like besides rehashing the origin story she took a bit of a backseat to the other three.

i want to know more about why uno said being a rebel was moja's 'thing', since she didn't seem to be any more rebellious than the other three in this issue. we didn't get any unique interactions between her and casey marie which is what i felt was lacking from lost years but i wonder if this is hinting towards a more turbulent mother-daughter dynamic with them... I REALLY HOPE SO!! her and uno butting heads in a leo-raph way is very fun - i don't mind one or two prior group dynamics leaking into the new turtle siblings because they're all so different from the original 4.

uno seems to be taking on slightly more of a leader role than moja so i think he won the title of fearless leader. which is fine, i think it'll be fun to see and he's definitely less of an asshole now than when he was growing up in lost years. still picking on odyn a bit but seems to snipe at moja just as much. even when he was commenting on yi's storytelling he didn't make fun of her, though - i think she may have inherited the 2k3 don ability of being Completely Unbullyable.

i was really pleased that odyn felt more involved!! i feel like he took the backseat a few times in lost years - it was fun seeing more of his personality shine through! he and yi seem to get on the best, and i giggled at them rolling their eyes at moja and uno's raph-leo schtick. i didn't expect him to TURN TO FUCKING STONE THOUGH, so i'm nervous about that. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? WHO DID THIS TO MY BOY? IS HE GOING TO TURN BACK NEXT CHAPTER OR IS HE OUT OF COMMISSION UNTIL THE END OF THE RUN??? (if it's the latter i'll be a bit annoyed - don't take odyn away from the equation please!!)

I do wonder if by introducing casually that they can PSYCHICALLY CONNECT, the turtles will use that as a technique to reach odyn's mind to make sure he's still in there and piece together what's happened to him. i mean, their casual telepathy has gotta be some sort of chekhov's gun right?

and shit.... april was so fucking mad casey took the babies out so she's going to EXPLODE when she finds out what happened to her baby boy, her beloved favourite, her baby odyn :''(( im giggling rubbing my hands together waiting for the fallout but also if she cries i might cry too. speaking of april, she seems to be working on a new project and i saw nano particles mentioned - are we going to have a roninverse version of nano in this run???? I NEED MY ROBOT SON

as always, casey marie... u have aged like fine wine. u are stunning. disappointed that ur still believing that jiro can do good as a cop when their entire police force and government is corrupt as fuck. just feels very naive of her. i'm excited to see her break down at the concept of losing odyn - in fact i need everyone to mourn this beautiful kid. they tell us so much that shes a super clingy helicopter mom and i am picking up on the strict part, but it would be nice to see more of her just... hugging her kids. holding them. i get why she didnt in this issue but id love more mama casey squishing their cheeks and kissing their foreheads.

i have zero fucking clue what's going on with odyn. im wondering if it's somehow related to nano, or to whatever project April is working on - she says it's to do with clearing the tunnels, but I''m not convinced. who knows, there might be some ulterior motive happening.

Okay I haven’t made many posts with her included (which im gonna do 😂) but I LOVE Ayako

She’s very beautiful and i think in a way that’s unconventional compared to many mangas. Curly haired female characters are really uncommon in manga, so seeing a girl like ayako was really surprising. I think her features overall make her look really realistic. Like she looks morrocan or dominican, and the fact that she’s portrayed to be canonically beautiful makes it so that her features are portrayed in a positive light

Also she’s literally the backbone of the team? Part of why Miyagi stayed for hs basketball was because she encouraged the team so well. She’s been there since before the team was good, like how akagi and kogure were. And throughout the series, she gave the boys ALOT of support. Like girl was literally the one who taught Sakuragi the basics??

Sawakita is also very different from other sports manga rivals. I mean he gets made fun of by his own team, mf cries SM. He has fangirls and I think he treats them well (shown by how he wore a t shirt one of them gifted).

He’s not a bad person either, he even helped Rukawa up when he fell down. He was very encouraging towards his teammates too when he was benched. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS PARENTS?? He’s so respectful to them, boy was out there thanking them for everything when he was drunk on a plane. Plus from his backstory, i think it shows he really loves his dad. Some yall mfs could never LMAOOO

I think his dynamic with Rukawa and Sakuragi too. He was funny asl with Sakuragi. And I like that Sawakita was part of what pushed Rukawa to improving as a player (as well as Sendoh). ALL THAT AND HES GOOD LOOKING???

I like that he was a chill rival too. Like he was just so down to earth, he wasn’t an asshole to NOBODY (except maybe the fish). He aint insulted nobody, not rukawa, not sakuragi. He just minded his business and played basketball

His appearance had a big glow up through the series too. People like rukawa were always drawn as good looking ecen in the beginning but sendoh was drawn to be ugly?? Like he did NOT look good. But towards the end of the series, dude was honestly stunning asl. Like he needs to put me on to whoever threaded his eyebrows

Honestly he seems like such a chill person to be friends with?? He seems so open minded, i fr cant see him as the type to judge anybody or treat anybody badly. I think at his school everyone likes him for how down to earth he is (and his looks LOLLL)

Also, I really like Miyagi, Minami, Mitsui, Maki, Fukuda, Rukawa, and Haruko too, I’m not sure ill do a pt 2 tho

seriously tho all yall have such creative ideas sometimes it blows my mind

deku has always looked up to you

you were always strong and willing to fight for those you love and do it with an amazing quirk

you were born this very naturally talented hero and he just wasnt

you were always willing to help him from bakugou and his other bullies by standing up to them

you were only a few years older and were more than willing to put little bakugou in his place

making bakugou a little scared of you lol

but when you got into UA, you were so focused on school that deku had to deal with the bullying problem himself

you taught him that he could be strong too and it seriously made deku much more confident for the future!

when deku got his quirk, you were baffled to say the least

you always knew him as a late bloomer... but not this late!

but you wanted more than anything to help him train when you got the chance after working for exams and training yourself

and when he ended up getting into UA, you were the happiest sibling in the world

you always believed in him more than anyone, telling him that he could be a hero quirk or not

even your mom didnt believe in him as much as you did

as you each went to do your own classes and separate training (always training together after school ofc), he would nonstop brag about you

like every chance he got in class to talk about you, he would

he would tell everyone how heroic you were and what you were doing to be the best hero ever

everyone ended up knowing about you and actually wanting to meet you

luckily, you knew aizawa very well and he thought you were a great student, so he wanted to have you as a guest to train the new UA students on how to get prepped for their future at UA

you came in and were giving a small presentation that you were working on in your class and there was a certain someone whose eyes were glued to you and more than likely shaped like hearts

denki kaminari couldnt take his eyes off of you

he nudged bakugou and said, "no one told me that midoriya's sibling was that good looking"

bakugou just gave him a weird look and rolled his eyes

bakugou obviously wasnt a big fan of you because of his run ins with you in the past, so he didnt care a bit about what denki thought of you

but denki didnt care what bakugou thought, his eyes were not going to leave you

and when you were halfway through your presentation and SMILED AT HIM??!?!??!?!!

mans became a flustered mess

so when you actually got to train with them and got to the blushing denki, he was almost braindead talking to you

you just giggled though and wrapped your arms around him to show him how to hone his power, and im sorry to say this y/n, but you killed the boy

may he rest in piece

in the future though, you did visit a lot, not only in classes, but when the dorm system started, you would visit deku's dorm a lot

thus getting you to know a lot of his classmates

you of course still made fun of bakugou

but then you started randomly laughing at denki's jokes

and then you got to know the silly lightning boy

he thought you were strong, good looking, protective, everything that he needed in a partner and really, he just fell head over heels for you

and he was unapologetic about it :)

If u have any headcanons yourself btw i’d love to hear them

(my headcanons beneath the cut) i warn u i’m very bad at articulating my thoughts so this is gonna be messy

- I love the differences in writing between blue and sunstreaker, how blue is talkative and energetic but can be seen as too much, while sunny is very reserved, and creative but incredibly cocky

- sunstreaker being more quiet and blue being more talkative complement each other so so well. blue doesn’t have to be scared he’s gonna overwhelm sunny (and if he does he trusts sunny to tell him) and sunny isn’t shooed aside in conversations because he only talks when he feels what is he says is important.

- 100% believe tho in terms of couples they would be the most obnoxiously in ur face couple on the ark, pda all the way baby. sunstreaker wouldn’t really give a shit what people think and bluestreak is really just vibing and happy to be around him

u name it, hugs, cuddling, little pecks throughout the day, u cannot get away from the pda.

- Sunstreaker got a shovel talk from prowl and smokescreen (mostly prowl and jazz made fun of him afterwards for being so protective)

bluestreak did not, however, get one from sideswipe because it is constantly implied to everyone that if one twin is picked on the other is right around the corner ready to start throwing elbows

- sideswipe and smokescreen were definitely on the side making bets on if they would get together

smokescreen lost a lot of money

- sunstreaker taught bluestreak how to defend himself in close hand to hand combat and in turn bluestreak showed sunstreaker how to locate snipers and avoid there line of sight

- bluestreak doesn’t paint but loves sunstreakers art he thinks he’s super talented and has art sunstreaker gives on display in his habsuite

- before only sideswipe was allowed to call sunstreaker nicknames (sunny, sunshine) in private

even tho that never stopped sides from embrassing sunstreaker in front of all their peers

but bluestreak is allowed to use ‘sunny’ in public. sideswipe thinks it’s hilarious

not ship related ig?

- bluestreak isn’t actually related to prowl and smokey but they adopted him as a younger brother and jazz as kind of a brother in-law

-bluestreak had a family before the fall of praxus but lost them all in the bombing

-sunstreaker and sideswipe grew up near and working in the gladiator pits

- sunstreaker stopped painting for a long time after they joined the war and sideswipe tried to encourage his brother but it wasn’t until they landed on earth that he started again
