heres the thing; falin was the kind of peace keeping autist who never REALIZED how poorly she was being treated by all of the adults in her life. laios was the kind of autist who would have probably endured anything until it started to target his sister. the duality of their childhoods and how laios was tortured by how their parents treated falin vs falin being like "well it wasnt THAT bad..." bc she didnt have the tools to understand how bad it WAS... i like it.
#i think people completely misunderstood that comic from falins pov that talked about how yeah her parents did all that but it wasnt so bad#they took that as: laios is conflating the problem and they WERENT nasty to falin#but falin confirms that they DID do all that to her yeah. so like#i think it was meant to comment more on falins pov and how she sees the world
