HEATED COACHELLA STAGE

After many attendees holding their breath for the next bold move MinAri might enact, it seems as though their shyness finally dissipated.

While weekend two unfortunately marked the last performance held by ATEEZ on a Coachella stage as of this year, the group left an ever lasting impression with powerful choreography paired with breath taking visuals and raw vocals. Through the numerous clips circulating online there is a specific instance that has been sending social media platforms into a reposting frenzy, one involving a rather passionate display by main rapper, Mingi, and lead vocalist, Himari.

While viewers were expecting something such as this to happen due to the intimate moment shared between the two during their first performance, it seems as though none were truly ready to witness it with their own eyes on stage. The interlude to their song 'Arriba' left gasps echoing in the crowd as Mingi pulled the maknae in for a true lover's kiss, an arm tightly draped across her waist whilst the other motioned for attendees to make some noise. In contrast to the beginning of the group's career where the two saw their reputation nearly torn to pieces following dating rumors, which were later disproved as nothing more than a scheme to have the vocalist removed, the crowd showed their support through loud cheers and vibrant excitement.

After small interactions sparking brief discussions through online forums, the suspected couple makes their relationship more obvious during Coachella.

On April 13th, social media saw an influx of videos documenting encounters with ATEEZ members whilst attending other artists' sets or simply exploring the venue yet a singular clip seemed to circulate much more than others due to the rumors surrounding it. While it was rather inconspicuous in nature as it contained nothing more than a sighting of the group's maknae and main rapper standing in the VIP section of ISOKnock's stage, someone made a rather interesting claim regarding the conversation they held with South Korean hip-hop artist Gemini.

"I was standing behind them when I overheard their friend (Gemini) ask about whether the two were dating and the girl (Himari) nodded. It looked like she was saying yes and explaining something, but the music started and I couldn't hear much after that." - X user

The attendee making this comment was seemingly not part of the group's fandom which made negative intentions towards their image rather unlikely, and the actions in this video seemed to support the statement. The vocalist could be seen wearing the rapper's sweater having been marked with his tag, whilst his arm was wrapped loosely around her hips which despite being an intimate gesture had become quite common between them. In the midst of the conversation Gemini gestured to the bandmates in a questioning manner, causing the young woman to look at Mingi who nodded in approval before she finally gave this same gesture to the other artist and uttered what could clearly be read as a yes.

Earlier today some people managed to record a heartwarming moment between the two, where the group's maknae was quite literally bouncing in excitement whilst dragging the rapper along with members San, Seonghwa and Hongjoong over to the Sahara tent in order to watch BONES' set. The clips uploaded a few minutes later were undeniably romantic in nature as he was seen embracing Himari from behind, trailing kisses across her face whenever the idol leaned back in order to say something.

Most have familiarized themselves with the intimate moment shared by the two artists during the dance break of WONDERLAND (Symphony No.9), yet none could have expected what transpired on that stage.

This time instead of using his grasp of the vocalist's neck to push her away as was done throughout other performances, Mingi shocked attendees when making the decision to pull their bodies closer. It would have seemed inconspicuous had the large screen not caught their lips clearly brushing against each other, his smirk indicating that this outcome was very much intended.

With the camera zooming out to take a wider shot Himari's reaction was unfortunately not captured, but a much more suspicious action drew the attention of online viewers watching the fancam. Mere moments prior to pulling away, what appeared to be the rapper's tongue rapidly swiped across his bandmate's lower lip while the hand devoid of a mic lead one of her own onto his chest.

Never throughout ATEEZ concerts has there been an interaction this shockingly bold and it seemed as though fans were not the only ones taken aback, as the maknae became visibly flustered when questions arose concerning this specific instance during the post-set live. The two appeared rather close throughout the broadcast as well, with Mingi's arm draped across the vocalist's shoulders until it eventually moved down to her waist when she attempted to move closer to the eldest in order to show him something on screen.

This statement from Himari could very well serve as the explanation of this sudden show of possessiveness from the rapper, though it is unlikely that netizens will hear the true reason behind it.

With this mysterious dynamic set aside, ATEEZ made their mark on history as the first male K-Pop group to perform on a Coachella stage and proved that their hard work needed to be acknowledged to the same extent as their undeniable talents. These nine members began their career filming a music video in the Sahara desert to then take the stage with that very name during one of the largest music festivals.

The smiles on their faces throughout the fifty minutes set were enough to convince attendees that all of them were born to be on stage, especially with the playful tone their performance adopted up until the end. Atiny have taken to social media in order to express their pride towards ATEEZ's success whilst the latter slowly solidify their position as one of the top male groups and continue to make waves through the industry.

The man lets himself fall backwards yet instead of crashing onto him she lands on a couch surrounded by screens, displaying images of canvases covered in black scribbles accompanied by broken paintbrushes, a bird clawing at its cage and gloved hands wrapping around her body, all the while she seems to be fast asleep.

.. She wakes up crying, instantly reaching for the camera supposed to be on the table next to her only to find its broken pieces spelling the words 'Face It'. In the segment 'Himari's Chains' we find out that in order to escape the grief of losing her parents amongst other negative emotions that followed, she turned to the pursuit of art, creating something beautiful any time happiness vanished even for a moment. With these distractions her focus was on fixing the sketch's crooked lines, her voice's false note, the flaw in her body's movements in contrast to the rhythm, drowning out the ever growing darkness inside of her own mind.

These 'shadows' eventually grew so dark that they locked her in a never ending cycle of nightmares, tears and despair, closing herself off to everyone without even knowing why, helplessly watching her own self. These created chains that were now forcing her to face every piece of darkness that had spent years being ignored, engulfing her with every passing moment.

J-Hope : On The Street Album

A particular feature send K-Netizens into discourse about its merit.

On February 27th at midnight KTS, J-Hope's highlight medley for the upcoming release 'On The Street' was revealed, totaling to 6 tracks with 9 featured artists. Two of these collaborations proved to be highly unexpected by netizens; LE SSERAFIM's Huh Yunjin on 'I Don't Know' and ATEEZ's Min Himari on 'I wonder...' ft Jungkook.

Production credits also show that the latter has participated in the making of all tracks, and while she has proven herself to be one of 4th generation's most talented artists, many claimed that this opportunity was solely due to her family ties with the rapper's bandmate, Suga. This caused HYBE to relay a response to these allegations from J-Hope;

'While it is true that I have known her for around a decade, the same could be said for some of these other artists. Throughout the years I have been able to observe her growth and wanted to bring her unique skillset to this album. It was a pleasure to go through this creative journey with her by my side and I hope that everyone will enjoy what we have made.'

Taking a rapid look at the younger idol's career would prove that he is not the only one who believes in her potential as in just 5 years she has accumulated more than 160 KOMCA credits, some being from working with prominent figures in the industry. Taemin has even stated that after the release of 'Never Gonna Dance Again : Act 2' - which was their first time working together - Himari has been one of his go-to producers.

With the vocalist having such an impressive portfolio despite being only 22 years old it is clear that we can expect much more as ATEEZ continues to grow. The special album will be released on March 29, and the docuseries will have its first episode premiering on March 38 at midnight KTS.

Amongst the late night liveliness two figures made their way through the city's calmer streets, the young woman's hand resting safely inside her boyfriend's with their fingers intertwined into a nearly unbreakable hold neither wished to escape. The subtle glimmer of a silver chain catching street lights under her long coat made the man's lips curl up into a bright smile, the excitement radiating from his girlfriend pulling a few chuckles from his chest.

'Do you want a bite ?' Himari asked suddenly, holding a warm crepe in front of his face. 'I mean...I can always eat it by myse-'

A startled squeak left her mouth as the rapper's teeth sunk into the sweet treat's last piece without warning, only to turn into soft giggles when she noticed the whipped cream perched atop his nose which she quickly cleaned up with a kiss. Without giving her frame a chance to pull away one of his hands grasped his girlfriend's waist whilst the other gently cupped her flushed cheek, letting his eyes lose themselves in her own before slowly slotting their lips together.

'It tastes better on your lips.' He noted as they pulled away, running his thumb across her skin. 'I think you should kiss me this time, you know...to see if it alters the taste.'

The vocalist playfully rolled her eyes in mock annoyance only to wrap her arms around Mingi's neck, heels raising from the ground as her smiling mouth found her boyfriend's once more, tongue teasingly licking a few crumbs away from his lips. The suddenness of this bold action made his ringed hands tighten their hold on her waist, causing more of the sweet amused sounds he so adored to echo in the vocalist's throat.

It was in moments like these that the past was suddenly forgotten, that the days where neither had life left behind their eyes no longer felt like a terrifying threat that loomed over their weakest moments. It was then that they were reminded of how they found a reason to smile within each other, a reason for their pupils to shine with an innocent curiosity about the world once more.

'Happy anniversary, Mingi.' She whispered, face buried in the crook of the man's neck. 'Thank you for bringing color back into the world.'

Feeling water drip onto his bare skin despite the lack of rain he carefully pushed the young woman away until he could get a clear look at her, a sincere smile showing the faintest hint of her teeth slowly turning into a pout almost overshadowing the tears staining her cheeks. Instead of taking the handkerchief handed by his girlfriend as a not so subtle hint that she wished him to wipe any trace of sadness away, his soft lips pressed repeatedly against the damp skin.

'Don't cry angel, we can be happy now okay ?' He scolded gently, forehead coming to rest against her own. 'The worst part is over with, long gone...we'll never have to go through that again. We can start living like we should have long ago, without drowning ourselves in long grueling hours this time.'

There are certain people the universe had created to fit perfectly with another and it liked to play cruel tricks on them; breaking them apart so that their hearts could heal in the shape of the other's missing pieces. It was terrifying at first, feeling something so dark overtaking their very being as they watched helplessly yet when they finally stood hand in hand, the shadows were no longer frightening as they knew that next to them was a sun that could cast them all away.

‥ Seeing as the masked man plunges her in darkness the moment she looks away from the camera's viewfinder, the device could be used to see the world in a brighter light to ignore whatever is happening in reality. She is also the only member with wounds, meaning that the camera might be a way for her to escape the pain of what happened to her previously. - Mikah (Twitter)

‥ Her solo track 'Shadow' saw the appearance of individuals dressed similarly to the one in the Teaser and some Atiny have suspected them to represent things such as depression, anxiety, fear, hate, etc. Unlike Hongjoong who seems to be addicted to the phone in his hand and Jongho who is afraid of the television forcing itself in front of him, maybe technology serves as something 'positive' for her sort of like a drug.
