Ok hot take incoming.

If you ever see a person calling a trans women a “male” know that they are an asshole and should not be engaged with.

Trans women are women not males. Stop calling them males.

Also I find it concerning that when a trans women enters a women’s space they will be labeled by transphobes as “predators” and “rapists.” If that does not concern you than I don’t know what does.

We need to make women’s spaces safer for women and stop letting TERFs control the rhetoric. Be actively inclusive of trans women in your spaces and make them feel as safe as possible. I’m begging you.

so, today we, russian queers, may become "extremists" by decision of russian supreme court and thus our existence will be silenced and erased. any queer activism will be impossible for us. I don't know what to do anymore. I was heartbroken when they passed the laws about "gay propaganda" and transgender people, now I'm just numb. I don't want to escape. I just want to live safely in my own country.

Okay so I just watched a video of a boy who once identified as trans still got bottom surgery after he realized he was cis and people were so fucking rude? Like just because this cis dude has a vagina people were calling him transphobic and wishing death upon him.

So this is a reminder that when we as a community advocate for bodily autonomy and gender surgeries that means everyone regardless of gender can do whatever they want with their bodies.

If someone who is cisgender wants top/bottom surgery THEY CAN GET IT. If someone wants facial plastic surgeries that we usually find creepy like buccal fat removal or eye lifts THEY CAN GET IT. And here’s the really controversial one but if someone wants to do things that harm their body like hard drugs or diy mods THEY CAN DO IT!

Because body autonomy isn’t just “I can get bottom surgery to pass” or “I can get an abortion” it’s also all the wild stuff that makes us uncomfortable and that’s okay.

It concerns me how many lesbians are transphobic.

Like you always hear one lesbian complain about the fact that “they aren’t attracted to dick.” Which is fine. They shouldn’t have sex with people they don’t want to.

But the problem comes when they treat every woman with a penis as a threat. They always are saying that “lesbians aren’t attracted to dick” not realizing this same logic must apply to gay men who are attracted to a man with a pussy or straight people who attracted to a woman or man with the same sex as them.

This is why you can’t call lesbians “women who are attracted to vaginas.” Please stop using that definition. It’s nonsense and honestly kind of sexist. You’re literally just defining people based on their genitalia. Sexuality isn’t attraction to genitalia, it’s attraction to people.

Anyway I’m not saying all lesbians do this. But a concerning minority do and it has to be called out for what it is.
