Me, finally outlining the timeline of my Reverse Robins AU, calculating purely by relative ages and when I want major events to happen, only to math my way backwards and find every single one of these fuckers (up until Dick at least) became a vigilante at age 14:

Grisha fumed at Will for a moment. He knows he’s trying to upset him and he knows it’s just so he’ll agree to go for whatever reason but that doesn’t make the thought of him camping with Eve any less frustrating.
What does he even mean by camping stories? Is that something people are saying theses days? Is he supposed to know what that means??!
This is why Grisha stays out of these situation. He doesn’t think like other sims his age and he doesn’t try to. Sometimes he wished he could just be carefree. He wished -
Will: “Pretty sure the guy that’s going to grade that would tell you to put that over...there...yep, just like that.” Grisha sighs.
Grisha: “Why do you care if I go or not...actually, why are you going?”
Will: “I’m a fan of trying new things and I think you could use that. I don’t think you’re as different as you think you are. I see you keeping everyone at arm’s length but I don’t think you really want that. This Eve may be your one, she may not, I’m not a believer of fate per say but look at us - we’re never going to get another offer like this. Well...you got an offer and I’m inviting myself.
You’re a little...self centered but you may have noticed we’re both outsiders. You’re just the one with a gorgeous girl inviting you to hang out with the cool kids.”
Grisha pauses. He’d never thought of Will as an outsider, he glances down at his bare feet, then his own. “Huh...well, I guess I never thought of it as an opportunity. You said she’s thinking about not going because of me?” Will nods.
“That’ll never do, she really wants to go...help me finish this section - we need to see if there are spaces left!” And Grisha needed to get back into his shoes ASAP before this became a habit.

For those saying I “over exaggerated” her breasts I did fix it actually
It’s just that I have the actual halfway finished product of it in my bag waiting to be revealed after I do her hair
Which will probably be never but I’ll show it another day anyways

If the right way is too hard, fuck it. Do it the wrong way.
Folding clothes keeps you from getting the laundry done? Stop folding clothes. Put a basket in your room and throw your unfolded clean stuff into it right out of the dryer, it's fine.
Rinsing dishes off keeps you from loading the dishwasher? Load them dirty and run it twice.
Chopping onions keeps you from making yourself dinner? Buy the freezer bags of chopped onions.
You forget to take your meds and don't want to get out of bed to get them? Start putting them next to the bed.
Can't keep up with the dishes? Get paper plates. Worried about environment impact? Order biodegradable ones online if your local store doesn't have one.
Make the task easier. Put things where you use them instead of where they "go." Eliminate the steps that keep you from finishing the task. Eliminate the task that is stressing you out.
Do it the "wrong" way. It's literally fine.

A traditional "knight saves the princess" story except at the end, the princess sighs and goes, "I suppose you want my hand in marriage as a reward" and the knight goes, "Oh, no, I'm just new in town and wanted to make friends but I've got really bad social anxiety" and the princess is like, "Rad, because I was never gonna fall in love with you" and they live happily ever after as besties (they're both aroace).

there is something unique and deeply special about monkey d luffy as a protagonist. he’s overwhelmingly ADORED by the fandom. he’s consistently the most or at least top 3 most popular characters in the whole series. peoples takes about him are gushingly positive. and that’s… really uncommon.
a LOT of fandoms i’ve witnessed or been in have a tendency to favor characters other than the main character. especially in anime. the main characters are often written as a blank slate for readers/watchers to project onto, but that makes them not as interesting and so they don’t get the fan attention.
but luffy is so far from that. and he’s ALWAYS been this way. we love him so much. he’s the heart of the story and the heart of the fandom in every single way. and i think that speaks to how well-written he is as a character. he’s fun and charming and complex and interesting and he makes us laugh and cry and cheer and hope and love. he’s able to inspire so much joy in people, both in his world but also in this one. and i think that’s really special. i feel so grateful to have found this story that means so much to me, and i’m so grateful that luffy exists.
