Spaceverse Phanos / Gaia sketches!
This features a lot of paineater characters hailing from Phanos, or folks that currently live there too, along with some characters who originally came from Gaia. This category has a lot of overlap with the tons of Faer sketches that are coming up, as a lot of characters have moved from one planet to the other over the course of the RP, and family ties stretch across both. Sketches that were already in a previous batch or saved for the Faer ones won't be included here for now.
In order, we have: Tarsus, Agneta aka Nettie, Thea, Titus, Kara, Diana (dating Al from Phanos), Cyrus, Kyra, Tigerlily (her mother Dahlia moved to Phanos and married Cyrus), Damon, Magnus, Fiona, Eamon, Cassian Ketos (from Faer, but just happened to be on this page), Rory, Divya (also a Faer character), Donovan, his daughter Hazel, older Hazel and Kara, Hazel with Kara again, Jean Paul (from Gaia), Helena, Titus, Adam with his kids Luisa, Dawa and Tiago (aka Tiggy), Adam with Tiggy, Adam solo, , Corrine, and Seamus.
Then we have some older sketches, including: Adam with his mom Athena (in previous verse, her name was Anna), his dad Tyran, Tarsus, Tyran and Adam using their powers, Anton, Dr. Dorian with his daughter Marta (Gaian but they later move to Phanos), Alex and Fabi Dionne (ditto), an older Alex, Kliff, Pauline, Jean Paul, Pauline, and Ernesto (in this verse, he's a phantasm from Illumina, but this is an older sketch of him from an older story.) These still need Spaceverse AU versions, but I wanted to archive these older drawings for reference.
Sakume owns a lot of these characters, including Tarsus, Titus, Kara, Cyrus, Tyran, Athena, and Damon, and I own the others here.

“Bruno!” Pepa ran but Félix caught her.
“Wait!” he cried. “We don’t know what the Miracle’s doing!”
“That’s my brother!” Pepa snapped. “I can’t leave him!”
“Pepa, listen to him,” Julieta said quietly. She felt breathless. She had that feeling again, of waiting for a tidal wave. She could physically feel the magic in the air, sending shivers across her skin, making her heart race.
“Don’t you feel that?” she asked. With utter certainty, she added, “Roberts can’t hurt him.”
She was right. Panting, furious, Roberts ran at her brother, machete raised.
He slashed down and it shattered the second it impacted with Bruno’s shoulder.
Now she could truly see fear on Roberts’ face.
*
As the battle reaches its climax, it's a race back to Encanto against the forces of a volcano...And a race against the clock to restore Bruno back to himself.

We don’t talk about Bruno

In which you talk about Bruno either way and in a surprisingly very choreographed manner too.

Encanto was a peaceful town, surrounded by lush forests and protected by the mountains from any harsh storms. Life in it is peaceful, quiet, and..
“Tia Mirabeeelll..!” Scratch that. Was.
“Tell us the story, Tia Mirabel!” A boy with curly hair had bound up the stairs of Casita’s staircase as Mirabel Madrigal, now in her late twenties, followed closely behind the little troublemaker whilst holding another child's hand.
“Pedro, slow down, Santiago and I could barely keep up.” Mirabel had sighed, pushing her green rimmed glasses up as the boy that held her hand had followed behind closely, little legs scurrying and trying to hurry up and chase after his brother.
“Pedro, espera..!” The little five year old that was held by Mirabel had whined at his brother, only a few years younger but already matching the same chaotic energy that his father before him had, grumbling at the older child who only laughed and munched on his arepas.
“It’s not my fault Tia Mirabel is becoming an Abuela!”
Mirabel rolled her eyes. “Ay, you are your father’s son alright. Besides, it’s not because I’m getting old! That’s your miracle’s doing!”
“Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?” He had slowed down however upon approaching the portrait of his grandfather who he had been named after. “I’m fast with and without my miracle! It’s just convenient because no one can catch me when I go for seconds! Watch!” Pedro grinned before leaning forward and without a sound had disappeared, only the rush of wind blowing behind him before he reappeared again with a basket of Arepas he had stolen from his Abuela Julieta.
There was silence for a few minutes before his name resonated from the kitchen.
“Pedro, you troublesome boy! What did I say about taking seconds without permission?” Mirabel’s mamá had bellowed from below. Pedro only giggled before swiftly disappearing once more, running back to the kitchen to place it on the kitchen counter.
“Lo Siento, Abuela Julieta!” The boy had called out before returning to where his Tia and hermano was, halting at the picture frame that had his great grandfather’s image.
“Afternoon, Bisabuelo.” He greets with a smile before he turns back to the duo. “You see him, Tiago? That’s who I was named after!” He says proudly. “Bisabuelo had given up his life so Bisabuela and our family could live. That’s how our miracle came to be! Tonight you get yours!”
Santiago had listened carefully. Sure he had heard his brother tell the story of his namesake but he was always so excited and he couldn’t help but mirror that excitement too.
“I wonder what my miracle would be..” The five year old had pursed his lips which Mirabel had smiled softly at, placing a comforting hand on her nephew’s shoulder. Though Pedro was too caught up in his own world to notice.
“Bisabuela was given the miracle and raised our Abuela Julieta, Pepa, and Abuelo Bruno here in Encanto.. but we don’t talk about Bruno!”
Camilo, now older with his still unruly hair and signature yellow ruepa, had entered through Casita’s doors after helping out with today’s festivities with you right beside him. Upon hearing the familiar words, the shapeshifter had laughed.
“Papá, Mamá!” The two boys exclaimed at the sight of you. “Why don’t we talk about Abuelo Bruno again?”
“Ah, they won’t let that go, will they?” Mirabel had asked while Camilo had smiled sheepishly before gesturing to you. You can only laugh before playing along.
“We don’t talk about Bruno, no, no, no.. We don’t talk about Bruno..” You had wagged your finger at Camilo's face who only laughed, knowing just where this was going, doing the same to your sons who had only giggled as the shapeshifter held your waist, one hand holding yours as you turned to him.
“But!” The two of you looked at Mirabel and the boys at the same time. “It was their wedding day.” You had gestured to the picture of Camilo’s mother and father, who were currently outside, preparing for the festivities that would occur tonight.
“It was their wedding day,” Your husband follows.
“They were getting ready, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.” You sang, whilst dancing.
“No clouds allowed in the sky!” Camilo had sung with you.
“Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin.” Mirabel had sung along, reminiscing the exact moments several years ago.
“Thunder!” Camilo exclaimed, effectively making his sons jump before looking at one another and laughing.
You roll your eyes at your husband, turning to walk away. “Are you telling this story or am I?” Camilo looked apologetic as he caught your hand in his, fingers tip toeing up your arms. “I’m sorry, mi vida, go on.” And you smile, placing a quick peck on his lips much to your sons’ disgust.
“Bruno says it looks like rain.” You continue, picking up your skirt and letting your husband guide your movements.
“Why did he tell us?”
The singing and the dancing had effectively made the boys’ and Mirabel move their shoulders along with the song.
“In doing so he floods her brain,” You continue. “Abuela, get the umbrellas..!” Camilo calls out in a singsong voice.
“Married in a hurricane!” You say with Camilo following along. “What a joyous day but anyway..”
“We don’t talk about Bruno! No, no, no.” You both shake their heads at your sons’ who had looked on with excitement. “We don’t talk about Bruno!”
“Hey!” Dolores’ voice rang through the Casita although you had expected her to burst out into a song, and although the older woman had wanted nothing more but to do so, she had smiled sheepishly and shook her head, gazing at Santiago who had hid behind your skirt.
You and Camilo place a gentle hand on his shoulders as to comfort him. You two would be there, miracle or no miracle.
“Abuela says it’s time.”

Dad! Camilo Madrigal ✨I enjoyed writing this so much! For reference, your son, Pedro, has super speed! For Santiago though, you can always suggest what miracle you want him to get. As always thank you for reading!

(Powers): Voice Manipulation
It’s been a week since her performance and she still, couldn’t get Camilo off her head.He was so kind, handsome, caring, and actually listened to her not like the other boy pining for her in the village, Tiago.
She sighed looking out her window, and only gasped when she saw Tiago waiting outside for her, “Ugh! Go away Tiago!” She shouted, he didn’t leave.
“Wait, just hear me out please?” He pleaded. She groaned in annoyance folding her arms across her chest, “What is it?” She asked.
Tiago revealed a guitar and she groaned, wanting to bang her head against the wall. “Seriously, your going to serenade me?” She exclaimed. She’s seen it all before it’s always the same song over and over.
“It’s-not-going-to-work! Okay you get that through your brain?!” She shouted. Gripping the rails of her balcony.
“If you even have one! All you do is bring flowers, tell me I’m pretty!” She shouted.
“But you don’t take the time to understand me, to get to know me! Camilo does all that and he actually cares about me!” She exclaimed.
“All you care about is having beautiful children! Y-You don’t care about me only my beauty!”
“And I know once I get old and wrinkly, you’ll just leave me!”
“You care about having a perfect image, well your not perfect i one’s perfect! I’m not perfect I have flaws just like everyone else!”
“And I’m sick and tired of you being rude to Camilo! Pushing him out of the way, calling him names, bullying him!”
She then scoffed, “Camilo’s more of a man than you’ll ever be.” She said, before turning on her heel and walking back into her house. Leaving Tiago there both confused, heartbroken, and angry.
He clenched his fist, and smashed his guitar on the ground, storming away. She shook her head and sighed, sitting down on her bed. She stirred, hearing the sounds of peddles hitting the ground of the balcony.
“Past! Y/n!” Camilo shouted quietly. She quickly got up fixing up her hair, and dusting off her dress. Walking out onto her balcony, “C-Camilo, what’re you doing here?” She asked, looking down at him curiously.
“I wanted to see you,” He exclaimed, she giggled. She couldn’t help but get lost in his eyes. Staring into them lovingly from her balcony, “You really came only to see me? Not to serenade me or anything right?” She asked, looking at him and he nodded.
“Hey, I wanna show you something!” He said, she cocked her head to the side confused but nodded. Walking back into her room and grabbing her shawl. Then headed down the stairs and out the door.
They both locked eyes smiling at each other, “Okay, follow me.” He whispered. She chuckled taking his hand and walking with him, “So what is it you want to show me?” She asked, he turned to look at her.
“It’s a surprise.” He said, and she grinned. As they walked through the village towards the surprise they didn’t notice, Tiago following them in the darkness.
(Slight Time Skip)
Camilo covered her eyes with his hands, “Camilo, what on earth are you doing?” She asked, curiously. He just chuckled softly.
“Okay, okay, almost there.” He said. As they walked towards the surprise then uncovered her eyes, “Okay, open.” He said, and when she opened them she let out a gasp in shock.
Fireworks exploded, and she smiled watching as they left up the sky. “I-It’s beautiful.” She said, in shock smiling. She held his hand and intertwined his fingers with his, “Thanks for showing me this.” She said, looking at him.
They sat on the ground watching the fireworks. She leaned her head against his shoulder, “Y-Y/n, there’s something I need to tell you?” He said, nervously. She looked at him curiously.
“I-I-I.” He stammered.
“I-I think your an amazing person, your so funny. Kind, sweet, and you have such an amazing voice.” He stammered nervously, his cheeks bright red.
“I-I-I, really like you.” He said, And she gasped in shock smiling. Taking his hands into her own, “C-Camilo, I feel the same too.” She said.
“You make me so happy, your the first person I’ve ever felt this way about. You take the time to know me, unlike others. You look past my beauty and see me for whom I really am.” She smiled.
Tiago clinched his fist hiding behind the tree, she placed her hand on Camilo’s cheek. They leaned towards each other and shared a kiss, she let out a gasp feeling his lips against hers.
(Time Skip)
“Thanks for tonight,” She said, holding his hands. “I’m happy you had fun.” He said, smiling. She looked down nervously, and then looked back up at him.
“See you tomorrow, Camilo.” She said, giving him a peck on the lips. Backing away slowly and enter her house, “Bye,” He said, watching her in awe. Letting out a longing sigh, walking towards his house he jumped into the air excitedly.
As he walked home, he was pulled into an alleyway. Tiago glared at Camilo, “What do you have that I don’t?! Looks, charm. I have it all!” Tiago shouted, Camilo rolled his eyes and stood up to his feet.
“Maybe it’s because you don’t take the time to notice her!” Camilo exclaimed, looking at him. Tiago grabbed him by the collar, “Let go of me!” Camilo shouted. (Y/n) turned the corner and gasped in shock, “Tiago?! Let him go now!“ She shouted, running towards him pulling at his arm forcefully.
“Let go of him now!” She screamed. Tiago didn’t budge. “I’ll never accept your feelings! You’ve never taken the time to know me and now your doing this! I don’t even wanna see your face!” She shouted.
“Please, let him go.” She pleased. Kicking Tiago. He then forcefully moved his arm towards her his elbow hitting her in the face, causing her to fall on the ground. Blood running down her nose, “Ow!” She groaned.
Camilo kicked Tiago where the sun don’t shine, and ran towards (Y/n). “I hate you Tiago! I’ll never love you!” She screamed, wrapping her arm around Camilo as he helped her towards his house. Taking her to his aunt, Julieta.

“You shall all be rewarded for what you’ve done,” Alma added. She kept reaching out to Bruno, relaxing each time she felt he was still there. She held Pepa’s hand and brushed her daughter’s hair back, sighing in relief. Julieta, sitting next to Bruno, was too far for her to reach, but Julieta periodically stood and went to her mother’s side, squeezing her hand or shoulder. It was hard to say which of them needed the reassurance more.
“We don’t need a reward,” Liliana said. “We- ouch!”
Tiago had slapped her arm. Liliana glared at him. Tiago shook his head sharply.
“So,” he said. “Rewards, huh?”
Bruno snorted, lowering his head to hide his grin. Pepa rolled her eyes.
Alma’s eyebrows rose. “Yes,” she said. “We can talk about it more tomorrow. For tonight, I think it’s safe to say we all need to rest.”
Agustín couldn’t agree more.

After the battle, everyone takes a quiet moment to unwind and plan their next steps. Soon it will be time to head home to the surface.
But not everyone wants to leave Encanto.

Perhaps you’ve heard the legend. Perhaps you know the story. Perhaps you’ve even heard the infamous phrase, “In a single day and night of misfortune, the island of Encanto disappeared into the depths of the sea.”
It was not quite a day and a night. It barely took an hour. But who can blame Plato for a little twist to the tale? It made for good story-telling. Who didn’t love a good mystery?
It was a story. It was a myth. It was a fairytale.
Wasn’t it?
*
Thousands of years ago, Encanto disappeared beneath the sea. Now, Agustín and Félix have been hired to find the lost empire and the mysterious source of its rumoured magic: The Madrigal Miracle.
Encanto is waiting and so are the royal triplets, led by Bruno's vision of the explorers- but treachery lurks around every corner and the answers they seek may lead them all into further danger.

“Come on, wake up, please wake up.”
“‘M up,” Félix mumbled, eyes still shut.
“You, uh…You don’t look awake…”
“I’m awake,” he insisted.
The other voice gave an amused, almost shy huff of laughter.
That was not Agustín’s laugh. That was not Agustín’s voice. This was someone else.
And whoever they were, they were speaking Encantan.

“Excuse me!” Agustín called after the two men, who could totally crush their skulls. “You dropped your, uh…Dynamite.”
“Oh, thanks,” André said, taking it with a cheerful grin.
“Uh, w-what else do you have in there?” Agustín asked hesitantly. Félix wanted to drag him away.
“Oh, you know; gunpowder, nitroglycerin…”
“Notepads,” Tiago chimed in. “Wicks, glue, fuses…”
“And paperclips,” André finished cheerfully. “Big ones.”
“Oh…” Agustín gulped.

He walked straight onto her balcony and rested his hands on the carved balustrade, overlooking their city. His eyes glowed even brighter and a sudden wind picked up around him, whipping at his hair and clothes. Particles of sand drifted across her balcony, curling around Bruno’s ankles.
Julieta’s heart was beating faster and faster but she didn’t move. She didn’t take her eyes off him. Pepa clung to her arm, wide eyes trained on their little brother, a grim set to her jaw. The silence stretched on and none of the triplets moved.
“They’re coming,” Bruno said, voice unusually harsh and echoing slightly. He looked back at them with the ghost of a smile.

Disaster strikes the crew and Bruno has another, much stronger vision.

Agustín felt a shiver go down his spine. It was eerie, seeing so many wrecks, illuminated as they moved slowly onwards. All around them was dark, except their exterior lights and everywhere they looked there were more and more wrecks.
Gustavo spoke up. His casual, almost slurring tones were gone; now he sounded much more alert. “Uh, Cap, you should hear this.”
Roberts’ looked around at the wrecks, eyes narrowed. “Put it on speaker, Señor.”
Sighing, Gustavo flicked another switch and the speakers came alive.

Agustín turned back to the Journal, biting his lip. Towards the centre of the Journal, something was bothering him.
“Do you ever close that book?” Tiago asked, already looking unimpressed.
“Well, I just-” Agustín broke off, unsure if he wanted to deal with Tiago’s judgement. But Liliana was looking at him earnestly, Flick (spread out on the ground like a starfish) was watching him with a curious smile, even Gustavo looked intrigued. Osvaldo joined them, humming cheerfully.
“The Shepherd seems to be leading up to something,” Agustín said, holding the Journal out for them to see. “He’s talking about the Madrigal Miracle, calls it a wonder in a rainbow of colours… But then it cuts off. Right in the middle of a sentence. A page is missing.”
*
The crew continue their journey and begin to share their stories with each other. For the first time, Agustín really feels like they're a team...So of course that sense of safety is immediately shattered when they meet their next threat.
Meanwhile, Pepa and Bruno watch as the explorers get even closer to Encanto and, in a surprise move, Bruno takes matters into his own hands.

I’m ready, Mirabel thought furiously. She reigned up her horse, eyes narrowing as she spotted the crumbled ledge she’d fallen from. The horse reared on its hind legs, neighing loudly, but even so Mirabel struggled to hear it over the thunder and wind.
“This is it!” Mirabel shouted. Dolores raised a hand to indicate she’d heard and Mirabel watched her cousin tilt her head, listening.
“To the south-east!” Dolores shouted back, the loudest Mirabel had ever heard her.
“Ready!?” Camilo called over all the noise as they hurried down the steep ledge. Félix swore and followed close behind, the guards struggling with the steep and narrow path. Tiago, André and Gustavo were among them, but Mirabel didn't dare look back for them.
Mirabel stared grimly ahead. She thought of Tio Bruno and her grip on the reins tightened.
“Ready as I’ll ever be.”

Zarita grinned, sharp and terrible, and flung out her hands.
Mirabel screamed as the red light knocked her uncle and friends to the ground. Camilo and Dolores hurried to their father. Zarita’s shoulders were heaving and Mirabel gripped the back of Bruno’s ruana, both of them backing away.
“Oh, Bruno,” Zarita said softly, almost sadly. She looked at Mirabel and smiled, strangely gentle. “Princess Mirabel. You’re not nearly as clever as you think.”
With a snap of her fingers, glowing red chains leaped from the ground and swung for them all like snakes.
*
Mirabel, Bruno and the others face Zarita at last. Zarita, cornered and increasingly desperate, proves harder to beat than previously expected. Mirabel, desperate to save her uncle, pays the price.
