he’s wondering why?
how many times does he have to go through the same thing? Third times the charm right?
but not like this.. why? He finally found someone who actually tolerated him yet still put him in his place he found someone he could be happy with and now she’s gone

they never even had the chance to start a family together. yeah he already had kids from his previous marriage with Eve but he rarely ever talked to them.
maybe this was his punishment for his actions he broke the rules after all hurting a hellborn breaking the contract.
