Okey so I saws the last episode of Dunmeshi and I need to talk about the shapeshifters.

I think is pretty obvious which belong to wich, meaning who on the team remembered each one that specific way... if you watched you got me

Im not gonna explain every single one but the last shapeshifters the closest to the real ones.

This one belong 100% to Laios and is awesome, Laios can not remeber the little details about his friens, like Chilichuck scarf or Senshi's helmet so he doesn't remeber Marcille's hair multiple hairstyle so he just get her hair free BUT surprinsingly he does remeber the detail in her spellbook CAUSE HE'S BEEN STUDYING IT that is such a detail and I love it.

But I love more the implication that Laios think highley of the love Marcille feels for Falin, believing at heart that Marcille would do anything to save his sister. This man doesnt know what lesbians are but he certainly not what love is

CHILCHUCK!!!

Okey I'll be honest i have my doubts with this one, but for the sake of the ship let's say this was Senshi XD I'm kidding, this man belong to Senshi.

What is my doubt? Since Senshi and Marcille are from long-lived races they both infantilize Chilchuck and Laios, BUT this copy is not the baby face one, meaning is not the most infantileze one, But most important the tools of this copy were mostly right.

Marcille doesn't give a shit about Chichuck's tools, she doesn't need to or want to but in guess who in fricking EPISODE 2 (so soon in the anime and already a ship) have a whole arc where he observes Chilchuck works up close, developing a deep respect for what Chilchuck does getting familiar with said tools

Personally, I want to see Alastor face the consequences of being unable to ask for help from others. I want him to face the consequences of his deal and thinking that others are weak for relying on others.

Run Away as a concept is something I love and adore.

I wanted to place Alastor in a position that'll prove that a single person's power and abilities isn't everything and that connections can play a role in shifting power dynamics.

Alastor only has connections to people by his contracts. Without it, he doesn't have any actual connections besides Rosie (and Mimzy. I would also include Niffty but she's contracted so–).

The enemy group in this scenario has connections to the other Rings in order to acquire the light crystals that'll inhibit Alastor's shadow powers. (At least based on my headcanon that bright light makes it more difficult for him to use his powers).

Alastor wouldn't have known about the existence of these light crystals since he doesn't have a connection to the other Rings.

Another thing that I didn't include/directly mention in this drabble is that the enemy group actually has a spell in place to ensure that soul contracts aren't able to used in the building they trapped Alastor in.

This means that Alastor could not rely upon his contracted souls and summon them to help him in this endeavor. Ensuring that Husker and Niffty and the other souls under his command couldn't help him.

Now, what about Vox? You may ask.

The thing about this spell is that it also applied to Vox.

Vox's contract with the other Vees (based on my headcanons) means that he could've borrowed more powers from the other Vees if he needed to. Even if the Vees weren't physically there for each other, they still have each other to rely on and can make sure the others are still alive even when they're away thanks to their contract.

Unlike Alastor, Vox understands the importance of connections and the strenght it can give.

In normal circumstances, the other Vees could've come to Vox's aid if it was too much for him. And draw from their shared power to fuel him if his own reserves run dry. After all, it's not like the Vees always get in a battle at the same time, so some of them wouldn't need the power another needs for a battle at that moment.

(I know I'm putting alot of importance on the Vees' connection to each other. But hey, this is my house and I say Vee Supremacy all the way baby)

However, because of this spell that was meant to cut Alastor off from his contracted souls, Vox couldn't rely on the Vees either when he knows how much they could've helped.

With how weakened Alastor is, he was almost practically dead weight. It was tactical for Alastor to be forced to retreat. However, it also trapped Vox in a situation where he couldn't rely on another when he's already weakened himself.

If things had been different. If Alastor was just stronger. Or... Or maybe smarter— things wouldn't have ended up in this way.

The difference between Alastor and Vox's fight against this enemy group

Was that they were alone.

Bruce and Talia: Partially because I am god's strongest (and most delusional) soldier and can ignore anything racist and OOC in all of her depictions over the last 20 years. Kate and Renee: I'm a sucker for disaster lesbians. I am. They are the avatars of lesbian disaterism and honestly good for them, keep making Aphrodite wildly upset with how hard you both can fumble a baddie, laddies.

Stephanie and Cassandra: It's popular for a reason! They are so wildly different while being weirdly similar! They care about each other in ways that are so genuine and raw, but aren't always helpful to the other party! Visually they look like a classic emo/sunshine ship, but if you investigate even a little bit it's quickly obvious that their dynamic is much weirder and more interesting. See also: the above disaster lesbians (wlw specifically here but the sentiment stands) thing.

Barbara and...Kara(?): ...This is my badly substantiated rarepair that also relies on a reality where Kara wasn't aged down. I just...it is one of the two variations of Superbat that compels me, and it purely comes down to the intensity of their personalities, the emotional weight they both carry, their intense understanding of loss and duty, and the fact that as Oracle and Supergirl they manage to have similarly heavy responsibilities on their shoulders.

Damian and Jon: The other variation of Superbat that compels me. Look. They've never got to have any consistent, wholesome, appropriate or healthy close relationships with any other viable options first off, so this isn't hard. Second, their arcs are literally designed to compliment each other, and the groundwork for that was laid out for sooo many issues. It's the opposite of Babs and Kara where there is actually so much content to be compelled by that it circles back to being painful again. Now, to be clear, I have no interest in anything happening with them unless and until they are allowed to be adults, mostly because I think those character arcs need come to completion before anything more than being best buds happens. Also, as god's strongest (and most delusional) soldier, the volcano didn't happen, Jon is going age normally and get to go to high school, they're going to fix it okay, there's a space whale--

Tim and Jason are in a weird "Y shaped" poly situation with a hairy bear named "Intensive Mental Health Care": No I will not be elaborating further.

Duke and ???: I love Duke. I have not been compelled by a ship for him yet. I know Tom King tried to make him and Gotham Girl a thing but...who wants that? I even like Gotham Girl enough to write for her, but WHO WANTS THAT!?

Anyone else I really haven't thought enough about to include...however....

HONORABLE MENTIONS THAT I DON'T WANT BUT SOMEHOW COMPEL ME:

Bruce and Minhkhoa: So funny, almost a parody of Bruce in a MLM ship, painfully comedic, Khoa is a disaster of a man and the most down bad creature on earth, beating even Talia on the obsession angle. Never let them prosper, never let them get it together, let me feast on this crack made canon.

Bruce and Selina: I DO like me some batcat, but I'm really more interested in Selina getting to be her own thing nowadays. Escape the bat-love interest curse girl, maybe go kiss an amazon or something.

Kon and Cassandra: Don't want this, but I am truly taken by the fact that was even a thing that was considered for 30 seconds. Insane. Insane pairing. Batshit. Kind of endearing? But please never again.

Synopsis: Gotham's in havoc, and the only one you can rely on is your ex-bf?

Warnings: Deception, angst, manipulation

It's been a year since the downfall of Gotham. A year since the apocalypse and a year since the vampires took over.

When the apocalypse first hit, chaos ran amok through the city's streets. Left and right, people were dropping like flies; Despite your pretty recent breakup, the first person you sought to check on was your ex-boyfriend -- Dick Grayson. Frantically you rush for the phone, dialing his number countless amounts of time solely to be met with his voicemail.

"Come on, Grayson answer!" you frustratedly mutter. In the of midst what seemed like the 10th dial, you were interrupted by a gust of wind bursting inside your apartment. You could've sworn you closed your window. Immediately you get a feeling of unease throughout your whole body. Gingerly walking towards your kitchen, you grab a knife from the knife block, arming yourself for whatever unexpected creature decides to pop out. Feeling a shadow behind you, as if instinct, you turn around and attempt to stab the unknown with all your might, only to be stopped mid-swing by a man grabbing your wrist.

"Woah there princess, you could've taken me out." the man said with a hint of mockery. You recognize the man as Dick, fully dressed in his blue and black Nightwing suit.

"Dick!" you exclaim, dropping the knife and running into his arms. He let out a cocky chuckle before wrapping his arms around your waist. If you weren't overdriven by a sense of relief and comfort., you would've noticed how his body was ice cold. Normally it would be the opposite, your hands cold to the touch in contrast to his warm hands. He used to say that that's what made the two of you perfect for each other. "You're okay! I've been calling you over and over!"

"I'm sorry sweetheart my phone died," he said, placing kisses on your temple. Weird, for a vigilante shouldn't his phone always be on? "I'm here now, that's all that matters," he reassures. Once again, there went the feeling of unease. "Baby, as much as I'm enjoying this we need to leave, now.". You nod your head, pushing back any feelings you had. He was right, the apocalypse of the world was still currently ongoing. Dick grabs your wrist, leading you towards the open window's fire escape.

"You ready?" he asks, wrapping his arms around your waist. You let out a sound of approval, clutching onto him for support. Hearing your compliance, he starts leaping from building to building, leading the two of you to a safe rooftop.

"Stay here, I'll be right back."

"Mhmm," you reply looking down at the city. Tears started to run down your face. Gotham was in shambles. Buildings were on fire, men and women- children screaming, car alarms going off, police sirens wailing.

"Baby, are you okay?" Dick calls out. He approaches you from behind, wrapping his arms around you and putting his head on top of yours. You turn and bury your face in his chest, hugging him back. "No...this is terrible! The city's in ruins, and everyone I love could be in danger.". This time your body wasn't signaling you a feeling of unease but more of a signal of danger--a warning telling you to get away. You look up at Dick and notice his eyes, his once blue eyes now blood red.

He picked up on your sense of inquietude, looking down at your distraught face. "You-you're one of them." you clamor pushing yourself away from his embrace.

"Princess-"

"No!" you shout. With each step he takes towards you that's another you take away from him. "Baby-"

This time your foot takes a step off of the edge. "Careful!" he exclaims, and in what seems like an instant your rushes over to you and pulls you into him, leading you away from the edge. "Let go of me!" you emphasize, struggling to get away from his grasp on you.

"How could you?" you ask, realizing there's no use in fighting against him and his newly acquired superhuman strength. The only emotions you felt right now were pure pain and betrayal; a dangerous pair they would be if the love you had for Dick wasn't triumphing you to act on them.

You tried to read him, something you could once easily do when you were still together, when he was with you; when he was still human. Dick's mind happened to be in various places. It hurt him to see you so upset- truly it did! Your melancholia and fear visible from your tear filled-eyes. But on the other, he felt no remorse, if anything your fear boosted his hero complex even more. All he wanted was nothing but for you to run into his arms, and call out his name, allowing him to comfort your worries, concerns, and agony. His poor, heartbroken girl. If only you knew how pretty you looked when you cried.

I think the thing for me is, if I put myself in Paul's shoes of being in love with John and believing he's straight, I would probably just assume that John did all that crazy shit to hurt me for no real reason. Which did seem to be Paul's perspective to be fair, and I can only imagine how much more insanity-inducing it would be for him to be told by Yoko or whoever that John had feelings for him, probably thinking for a long time "well it sure didn't fucking feel like it!!"

HSGSHSH THATS THE THING UNFORTUNATELY..... LIKE....... I do truly think this is what happened. To Me. and add to it his doubts after johns death that john ever loved/liked him Which He's Voiced...... man. although I do think they understood each other better than that so I feel like. hm. In My Mind. I have no proof of this just going on vibes alone & a like 3 hour conversation with @o-boogies abt literally this exact thing last night. it's like. To Me? he was so assured of John's love (in whatever manner) for so long so then when it's not there & john has not only moved on but is trashing him publicly and saying they were never close it's like the rug was ripped out from under him & he wasn't sure if he ever understood or knew john as well as he thought he did. like I DO think he knew john loved him and just had repression a mile long (like. he did nearly beat a man to death this is such a vital detail about johns Gay Internal Drama). but only After things fell apart did he come to doubt that & I think it took a lot of people going "yeah no he did Love You (in whatever form)" to like. soothe that? but when you listen to his solo stuff it's....... god it's SO raw how much he is just SCREAMING for John to look at him and love him and see him. like even before his solo career we have songs like oh! darling and I will (.....& the "can you take me back" jam which I will consistently and always overanalyze)

I don't however....... hm. I don't think they ever had A Clear Moment is part of the whole issue. like idk that either of them necessarily "rejected" the other more than they were both just incredibly bad at communicating and wanted to rely on telepathy which is not a real thing that exists. so for Both Of Them the whole thing was like a punch to the face. for john because he just desperately wanted paul to React and for paul bc this relationship he had been very assured in was suddenly twisted into something very ugly and depressing

who was straight who was bi who was gay I Have No Clue I just know those two loved each other so deeply and hurt each other so badly and WANTED to be more (whether u subscribe to the idea that they were strictly in an unspoken emotional thing or the idea that they Have Fucked Nasty).

Thinking today about how little evidence there is for the whole of the Buraiha Trio being able to survive together in any universe. How Oda dies, Dazai and Ango seperate in canon. Oda lives, Ango is absent, Dazai dies in BEAST. No three people in one universe can know about the Book’s rewriting.

The Mafia’s optimal solution is its Permit. The safeguarding of all ability users is needed via the Special Abilities Division. Nobody else can deal with Fyodor than Dazai. All three of these characters are fundamentally needed in this life. But that doesn’t mean they can be together.

To this day I'm disappointed in the lack of showing that there's no fucking way everyone can understand each other in-game, because I just imagine if we go to the New World, Arkhe's tribe having the issue with the Scions of both parties trying SO fucking hard to communicate and not understanding a single word the other is saying, and it making both parties more and more desperate to communicate that "PLEASE I HATE this language barrier I wanna get to know you" feeling. The one from Arkhe's tribe would let out the most intense yell from the depths of his soul the moment Arkhe shows up to be the translator.

#I've seen it a few times and it's so sweet despite me feeling bad for both parties #where a language barrier has two people trying so fucking hard to talk to each other and they wanna talk SO BAD #like it's not even out of necessity they just wanna get to know each other and that always makes both parties try harder #even I've experienced it with some of my mutuals on Twitter too there's a lot that barely know English and we struggle when chatting #there's no translator apps in this game they're gonna have to rely on body language and eagerness alone to convey friendliness #I dunno the feeling of FINALLY reaching an understanding is a nice feeling it should be explored more #this specific cultural trouble can be explored without racism it really should be in my opinion

I can’t believe I went through all of Season 2 assuming Nina was the stand-in for Crowley when you actually pay attention it’s so CLEAR that she’s Aziraphale. I was tricked by her spiky, sarcastic, cynical outer shell and lulled into a false sense of security by Maggie’s bubbly optimism and wholesome goodness, because on the surface they reflect the ineffable husbands perfectly, in their personalities, their aesthetics, even many of their actions and morals. but not, and this is the real key, when it comes to their “relationship”. but those first impressions really had me damn fooled.

I missed the blatantness of Nina’s “we’re just friends. actually we’re not friends. we barely know each other.” the same thing Aziraphale said in season 1. the way he still struggles to quantify their friendship when Nina asks. Nina’s sarcasm when Crowley asks about rain and awnings because it worked for him (we all know it LMAO). hell, that whole convo the girls have in the rain is so AziraCrow (“I know. I’m not your type” “...You have no idea” hits so much harder the second time, help meeeee.) “Lindsay” maybe being symbolic of Heaven and Aziraphale’s toxic relationship with them and their abuse? (the handwritten text messages in red pen make me think of angry notes on paperwork, anyone else?) because Crowley has never actually cared about what Hell thinks of him, just not getting into trouble (or him or Aziraphale getting hurt). Maggie is always chasing Nina. NINA NEVER GOES IN THE RECORD STORE. Just like Crowley always goes to the bookstore, to Aziraphale, Zira NEVER WENT TO THE FLAT (apart from The Swap but that doesn’t count imo). Crowley has always chased Zira, not the other way around. Always there to rescue him, always going to him for company, always relying on their shared connection, always US. OUR SIDE. All through season one, he comes to Zira every time to work together, never trying to work alongside Hell in any way that isn’t to save their skins or Earth, while Zira hides things from Crowley because he STILL thinks Heaven is ultimately good and will do the right thing if he can just show them. fix it from the inside.

Maggie working up the courage to finally say something, to put herself out there, while Nina is utterly oblivious and then when she does realise Maggie has feelings, becoming standoffish, putting up that barrier, fighting it, denying it, ITS SO CROWLEY AND AZIRAPHALE IN THAT ORDER. the way I was fooled into thinking Nina’s trust issues are Crowley because he does have trust issues ofc he does BUT Crowley has ALWAYS TRUSTED AZIRAPHALE. has always relied on him. has always been hurt when Aziraphale doesn’t immediately reciprocate the way he expects (the holy water request, the bandstand, the “off in the stars” etc). he’s always the one putting himself forward. Aziraphale has always been the one to second guess everything, to fight their connection, their similarities, their friendship. the girls really made me think it was going to be okay when they sat Crowley down, even as my inner sirens were going haywire about Metatron interfering, they were telling Crowley he just needs to open up and it’ll all work out BUT HE’S ALREADY AT THAT POINT. he may not say it, and by gosh is that part of their damn problem, but he’s always SHOWN IT. he’s not Nina who needs time to heal and recover from her broken trust, he’s always been Maggie believing it doesn’t matter, they’ll end up together in the end anyway AND I WALKED RIGHT INTO THE TRAP THAT THIS MEANT THEY WERE GOING TO BE OKAYYYYYYYYYYY
