25.02.24// went to see priscilla yesterday and i absolutely loved it! i've read the book before (just as like 95% of all elvis-related things ever published) and i was really curious about how the movie turned out - it was even better than expected though!

last week at work really exhausted me, so i just chilled a bit which is always appreciated!

08.24.22// just finished rereading my favorite gothic!!!!!!! This commences the magical time from summer into fall! I forgot my copy of the book from my old house, so this is a new library copy :) I think this cover is so beautiful…

one thing i need to start living by is “become the thing that you want” if i want friends who throw themed parties maybe i should start throwing those parties. if i want someone who writes me love letters maybe i should start writing letters for the people i love. if i want to hang out at museums and pretty cafes maybe i should invite my friends to these places. and maybe even then i won’t find the kind of people i want to be around. but then i would have become the exact person i want to be around. and maybe that’s good enough.

i love studying. i love writing. i love reading. i love learning languages. i love doing mathematics. i love wandering over some particular sum and trying to come up with formulas to solve it. i love physics. i love biology. i love chemistry. i love history. i love literature. i love learning.

not to achieve the perfect grades ever. but it just amazes me that there's so much to know and learn and write and read about in the universe. my curiosity wouldn't get enough of it.

19.03.24// had a really productive work/research session at a cafe! finished editing a journal paper as well, which means i have more time for finishing a phd chapter (since work is a bit slow lately!)
