Sonia x male childhood friend s/o
Sonia, Leon, and s/o all began their Pokémon journey together.
After Leon defeated s/o in the Galar league and became champion, s/o decided to go to other regions to continue his journey and someday return to Galar and have a rematch against Leon.
Sonia didn’t want s/o to leave, for she had fallen in love with him during their journey, but ultimately respected s/o’s decision.
Years go by since s/o left Galar, but not a single moment passed where Sonia didn’t miss her childhood friend and wished she had confessed her feelings to him back then.
Nowadays, Leon is still the reigning champion, and Sonia followed her grandmother’s footsteps and became a professor with Leon’s brother Hop as her assistant.
One day, Leon, who had finally lost the Champion title to Hop’s childhood friend Victor, rushes into Sonia’s lab excitedly.
“Jeez Leon, what has you in such a hurry?”
Sonia asks.
“It’s s/o! He texted me and said he’s coming back home for a visit!”
Leon says with a wide smile on his face.
Sonia goes wide-eyed before jumping up from her desk and runs over to Leon and reads s/o’s text.
“I-I can’t believe it! He’s really coming back!”
Happy tears stream down her face.
Leon smiles and puts his hand on her shoulder.
“He’ll be arriving at Wedgehurst station soon, I told him to meet us here at the lab. Maybe when he gets here you should finally tell s/o how you feel about him.”
Sonia blushed and thought about it for a few seconds.
“You’re right Leon. I have another chance to confess to s/o, and I’m not gonna blow it like I did before.”
She says with a confident smile.
Leon laughs and pats her on the shoulder.
“Good. I’ve always thought you two should be together. I know without a doubt that he returns your feelings.”
Sonia smiles and blushes while thinking about her and s/o as a couple.
Half an hour later, the door to the lab opens and reveals a young man with (favorite color) eyes and (favorite color) hair.
“Hey guys, it’s been a while huh?”
Leon goes over to give his old friend a bro hug while Sonia stares at s/o with a deep blush on her face.
“He’s even hotter than he was before he left.”
Sonia thinks to herself, but accidentally says out loud.
Leon and s/o turn to her, the former smirking and the later looking at her with a faint blush on his face.
“T-thanks Sonia, I think you look hot too. I-I mean, not hot as in pretty, though you are very beautiful, I-I mean…”
Leon busts out laughing at his flustered and red-faced friends.
“Get a room you guys. Seriously, you two are awful at being subtle.”
He walks over to Sonia and begins gently pushing her over to s/o.
“S/o, there’s something that Sonia wants to tell you.”
Sonia blushes and pulls s/o into a warm hug.
“I missed you so much since you’ve been gone s/o, and there’s something I wanted to tell you before you left but I chickened out.”
She lets go of him and takes a deep breath.
“I love you s/o, and I have ever since you, Leon, and I went on our journey together. I was heartbroken when you decided to leave the region, and I wanted to tell you my feelings before you left, but I didn’t because I was scared of how you would react. All these years later s/o, and I still love you. So will you stay right here in Galar and be my boyfriend?”
S/o stared at his friend in shock before moving closer to her.
“Sonia…”
He said in a tone of both surprise and sadness.
“If I had known you felt that way about me, I’d have never left. Truth is…I love you too. I’ve had feelings for you since we were kids, but I never acted on them because I thought you only saw me as a friend. When I left, all I could think of was you. I traveled to various regions and met lots of new people, but nothing could keep my mind off of you. That’s why I came back, I figured that even if you didn’t return my feelings, you’re still one of my best friends whom I wanted to visit after so long. But now that I know you love me back, I’ll stay right here in Galar with you.
Sonia looks at him with tears in her eyes before grabbing his face and kisses him passionately.
After pulling away to regain their breath, Sonia gives s/o a warm smile.
“I’ve imagined doing that for years s/o, and I must say it was just as amazing as I imagined it being. I love you so much s/o.
S/o smiles and brushes his thumb through her hair.
“I love you too Sonia.”
Leon watches the scene in front of him and wipes a happy tear from his eye, overjoyed that his ship has become a reality.
S/o turns to Leon with a smirk.
“Don’t forget Leon, even though you aren’t Champion anymore, doesn’t mean I don’t want my rematch against you.
Leon smirks back at him.
“Anytime anyplace s/o.”
They all laugh, Sonia wrapping her arms around s/o’s waist and kissing him on the lips.
“I’ll be looking forward to that rematch, I can’t wait to see how strong a trainer my boyfriend has gotten.”
S/o blushes before giving Leon a friendly glare.
“You heard her Leon, you wanna battle now?”
Leon nods with a confident smile.
“Sure, but get ready to lose to me again s/o.”
S/o smirks.
“Not a chance dude, I’m not gonna lose to you in front of my girl!”
With that said, both Leon and s/o rush out of the lab and prepare to start their battle as Sonia thinks about who she should cheer for (it’s totally s/o by the way).

- You held Sonia’s hand, squeezing it as you moved yourself closer towards her.
- It honestly took her a while to understand what was going on.
- She was extremely happy and lets out a small laugh- she knew that being patient with you would work.
- Sonia squeezes your hand back, giving you a smile.
Sayaka Maizono
- Sayaka worries for you constantly, she wants you to try to be a little more cautious with your actions.
- She tries to help you change your ways and become more of a sensible and better person.
- Sayaka gets upset when you’re mean to someone- she’d talk to you about your actions and apologize to that person later.
- If you ever got into a fight, she would try to diffuse the situation and stop you from fighting. Afterwards, Sayaka would talk to you to make sure you were okay!
- She would never doubt you though, she would still trust you completely even though you are very reckless.
- And then randomly, you hugged her- squeezing her all flustered.
- Sayaka let out a soft giggle, she thought you were adorable!
- She squeezed you back while continuing to giggle.

Celestia Ludenberg
- The idea of a delinquent boyfriend makes Celeste’s skin crawl. But ever since she got with you, she didn’t really care anymore.
- At some point in the relationship, Celeste did try to mold you into the most perfect, respectful gentleman.
- She didn’t really care after that.
- If you were ever mean to someone, she would just sigh and not do anything. As long as it doesn’t involve her, she doesn’t care.
- Literally the definition of “I pretend I do not see it”. Celeste will literally just sit and drink her tea looking all pretty while you bully the shit out of someone.
- If you're fighting someone, she would just sit there and watch- basically enjoying the show.
- Damn, Celeste thought that you were honestly badass until you decided to hug her privately
- Celeste was shocked- she wasn't used to physical touch, especially not from someone like you...
- She sighed, and patted your back with a small smile on her face.

Aoi Asahina
- Like Celeste, Aoi did try to help you become a better person. But really, it was no use,
- She would always show her concern for you. Even if you could protect yourself, Hina would be there to keep you safe.
- At least she had someone who was brave and determined- she did admire you for that!
- Hina HATES when people insults others; if you were making fun of someone, she'd immediately step in and stop you.
- If you ever got into a fight, she would jump in and stop everything without thinking- even if it meant getting hurt.
- Like Sayaka, Hina still trusts you. Even for your stupid behavior.
- And when you decided to hug her...
- Aoi's eyes were SPARKLING- she squeezed you back, she thought you were the cutest thing EVER. Bonus points for you because she's a very cuddly person!!

Sucy has… seen more, in her life.
The Forest Of Arcturus has some fucked up creatures, man.
Speaking of, that's where you and Sucy like to stroll sometimes.
Either there, or in the city.
She gets you to come as well when Akko takes her places, so she's not bored.
Your silent nature allows her to use you like an information sponge, going on about different kinds of mushrooms and various types of flora.
She tries some potions on you, but they don't seem to have any effect. That's odd.
But, hey, that means you're in less danger, and she's happy. She lets you witness a few of her experiments too.
Nazuna Hiwatashi
You two don't share a lot in common, but that's the thing, right? Opposites attract?
She likes to attempt to imitate your stoic personality, but then break down trying to hold a straight face.
She's so playful, and you aren't the same.
Listening to her sing has given you a spot for that type of Japanese Pop. You even start willingly listening to it in your free time.
She'll always take you on small dates in between shows, because it makes her happy, and she wants you to be entertained as well.
She even brings Michiru in as a 3rd wheel. Shirou wasn't interested in the position.
And riding on her back as she flies is your primary mode of transportation. It's nice feeling the wind in your hair as you ride.
You two are the pinnacle of opposites attract. And you couldn't be happier.

A/N! I'm sorry if you wanted this to be headcanons, I was confused so I made this into a fic! I hope you don't mind.
The princess stared at the door, her lover, the president of [ Nation name ] had been so occupied he didn't spare her much attention. She had her own duties as a princess but still wanted to spend time with her boyfriend.
She knocked on the door three times, and once she heard her boyfriend's voice say ' come in ' she opened the door slowly and closed it behind her. " Sonia, darling, do you need anything? " His voice was gentle as he spoke, looking at his lover with a gentle smile on his face.
" You're overworking yourself, S/o, you need to take a break. " Sonia said and walked towards S/o, his eyes watched her, admiration was visible in his eyes as she stopped next to him. " Alright. " He sighed, taking Sonia's hand and pulling her into his lap.
One of his hands rested on her waist and the other on her head which was resting against his chest. He carefully rubbed Sonia's head, as she cuddled into his hold, letting out a hum of satisfaction.
S/o closed his eyes, his back resting against the chair as he leaned back. The two cuddled in his office, a small blush resonating on the couple's faces. This was nice, he liked this.

A/N: This fic was requested over on our Wattpad, we hope it's alright! Sorry for it's delayed arrival, Owner 2 had something come up and it took a little longer to finish. Sorry it's so short btw, we kind of struggled with this idea.
- Fuyuhiko always puts you first.
- Meaning he would literally drop everything for you.
- He makes sure the coast is clear whenever you’re around.
- He makes sure to always protect you when he's around.
- But If he's not around, he would order Peko to remain by your side.
- If you were ever in distress, he would be there within minutes.
- Makes sure you know he’s there for you, that you’re safe as long as you’re with him.
- “Are you okay Y/N? What did that bastard do to you?”
- “I’ll protect you, with my life.”
- ”If anyone tries to start anything, you come straight to me. Got it?”
- “Jesus Y/N! What are you doing? You could of almost gotten yourself fucking killed!”
- ”You know I’d do anything to keep you safe, anything.”
- Won’t let anyone harm you, but if they manage to, they’d be as good as dead.
- “What did you do to him, you asshole!”
- ”Lay another finger on him, and you’re fucking dead.”
- He walks with you to and from your cabin, the beach, the other islands.
- Pretty much anywhere.
- He knows you’re probably capable enough to keep yourself safe.
- But he really can’t lose you, so he doesn’t want to take ANY risks.
- If you’re spending the day in your room, he’ll be sure to come check up on you every couple of hours.
- Always lets you know where he’ll be, just in case you need to find him.
- “I’ll be right next door, just call out if you need me.”
- “I’m heading to the beach, I should be back by 6.”
- “Hajime and I are going to check out the new island, make your way to us if something happens.”
- If he’s unable to keep eyes on you, he makes sure there’s someone around you that he trusts, someone like Hajime, Sonia or Akane.
- The only three he’s sure won’t harm you.

Now Sonia had been in prison for awhile so it’s been a really long time since she’s had the attention of a man… and she craved it.
After she tasted defeat in Japan, she ran into you. You were nothing special, just a local coffee shop worker, but your small moment of kindness to her stuck like glue. You offered her a muffin and a coffee on the house since she looked so down. You didn’t judge her disheveled appearance or the scent of cheap cigarettes on her, you simply gave her a soft smile. It made her heart beat rapidly in her chest
As the seasons go by, Sonia actively seeks you out. She felt like a school girl with a crush again. Sometimes she’ll peak her head around the corner of an alley and just watch you work. Other times she’ll enter the coffee shop and order a coffee from you. (She only drinks it if you make it though)
You always compliment her every time she comes in. Whether it’s about her pretty blonde hair, how you love her accent, or how her eyes look like sapphires. She craves your attention and praise. She even started trying different hair styles and clothing to fish for more compliments and tends to wear the styles you compliment most (she’s a simp)
She loves that you make her feel like a regular girl. How you make her feel pretty… she’s a sucker for you
Sonia is so jealous when she notices another woman complimenting you. She’ll knock that bitty’s teeth in if she touches you again (and she means that)
She’s extremely possessive over you despite the fact that you two aren’t dating. She doesn’t care. Sonia saw you first so you’re hers
The tall blonde waltz’s in as per usual, this time right before closing time. You give her a warm smile.
“Oh hey, Sonia. Can I help you?” You ask softly, only for the muscular woman to walk behind the counter. You try to tell her she can’t enter but she ignores you. “Sonia- eek!”
Sonia slams her hands on either side of you. The Russian woman leaning down so her face was at the same level as yours.
“You’re my boyfriend.” She tells you firmly, leaving no room for arguments. “So stop talking to other girls. You’re mine.”
You can’t even get out a word before she firmly presses her lips to yours. The taste of coffee and cigarettes lingering on her lips. Your eyes still blown wide open as her hands pull your body against hers. This was such a strange predicament…
“You’re mine.”

❄️so when leon introduced you to his other friends; sonia and raihan, you were ecstatic. you really felt like you were part of something! and your sweet eevee was able to befriend their pokemon, and of course, them as well in the process
❄️there was just... one thing that was a bit off. when eevee was ready to evolve, and you gave it the choice to evolve, it chose to become a glaceon. which you were thrilled about! raihan though? not so much
❄️he wasn't as dramatic as other dragon-type trainers who despise ice types, no it wasn't that
❄️he was upset that your glaceon basically was copying him
❄️it didn't take long for you to notice how similar his headband was to glaceon's fringe. it honestly made you laugh for a good 5 minutes
❄️and when raihan, jokingly, snapped at you for laughing at his demise? that's when your glaceon really came into touch with her cold nature
❄️it was quick to nip at his ankle with a pretty cold ice fang, causing him to jolt and shriek at the touch
❄️and from there on out, your glaceon was pretty guarded with raihan, especially when he was around you
❄️you knew that raihan didn't mean to lash out like that, it was all in fun and games- and you knew he wasn't actually upset
❄️it's just.... your glaceon didn't understand
❄️and it got worse overtime
❄️anytime raihan would get near you, glaceon would snap it's teeth at him or hit him with one of it's attacks to get him as far away from you as possible
❄️but when it came to the others; leon, kabu, gordie, hop, and whatever other male. glaceon seemed fine
❄️it just had a problem with him
❄️and it only got worse when the two of you started dating, and it especially became a problem when you moved into raihan's apartment many years later
❄️"we need to figure out this... problem. with your glaceon." raihan seemed serious, which was rare to see
❄️"maybe you two just need to bond. see where it goes from there, rai." a simple kiss to his cheek made him sigh, but he knew he had to make an effort
❄️because you were really trying your best! you've spoken to your glaceon, sought out help from sonia and professor magnolia
❄️now he had to step up to the plate
❄️so for months would raihan try to hand feed glaceon treats, only to be swiped at, or risk the possibility of getting frostbite
❄️he'd take over it's daily walks only to be dragging it around the neighborhood
❄️social media really had a blast with that one
❄️he'd take it to all of it's appointments, he'd even go as far as to try to bathe it
❄️which he'll never do again
❄️this goes on for what feels like forever, and raihan simply... gives up
❄️he flops onto you, head nestled against your stomach with his arms wrapped around your waist
❄️"I think your glaceon hates me."
❄️a soft coo sounded from you, your hand found his back and rubbed it. "you're making progress babe... you are."
❄️all he could do is sigh and express his woes to you, confessing to you that he wants to get along with your glaceon for the sake of your relationship. he loves you, and he loves you deeply, and he can't imagine anyone else that he'd rather spend his life with
❄️his words warm your heart and makes you kiss him, bringing him closer to you if possible
❄️raihan leans into your touch and sighs, mumbling how maybe he can ask his fans for advice- but he shudders at the idea. yeah no, he isn't doing that. that'll ruin his reputation
❄️just as he's about to push himself off of you, he feels pressure on his back. he thinks it's your hand but he holds his breath when he feels a familiar brush of cold air against the back of his neck
❄️you're just as quiet, also holding in your breath as you witness your glaceon pad over raihan's back to prop itself on his head to look at you, a soft cry sounding from it
❄️it was hungry
❄️you and raihan exchanged looks before you questioned your partner pokemon
❄️"are you... hungry?"
❄️a sound of agreement
❄️"then let's go eat dinner." raihan is who speaks next and he half expects a sound of disagreement from the ice type, but it never comes. instead, it jumps off of him to patiently sit on the floor, tail waving in the air
❄️you're just sitting there, baffled. raihan can't help but be just as surprised
❄️"see? I told you you're making progress."
❄️a sigh rings deep from dragon-type leader's chest, but a toothy smile appears on his face. you were right. he was making progress, and hopefully soon it'll blossom into a good relationship with the pokemon

-I feel like Hajime's the type to prefer a laidback birthday celebration as opposed to something extravagant, so you just plan a traditional party with his class and a few friends
-Everyone has their roles, Teruteru makes the cake and Hajime’s favorite dishes, Sonia splits everyone into groups for the set up, and Nagito… isn’t allowed to touch anything
-but Hajime doesn’t know you’re planning this so all he intends to do for his birthday is chill at home with his boyfriend, maybe buy a cake to eat later
-Once his big day roles around, the two of you spend the first half of the day doming hanging out. You tell him happy birthday, but other than that it’s like any other day
-A few hours after you get to his house, you tell him you need to do some grocery shopping and ask if he wants to come along. Hajime, being the lovely man he is, comes with you
-He is a little offended that you interrupted your time together to go shopping on his birthday if all days, but he won’t tell you that
-About halfway through your walk to the store, he realizes you’re going an awfully strange way, but you brush it off, saying it’s a faster route
Hajime: “But we’re going the opposite way?”
-Eventually you reach a park, and you decide to cut through it because “it’s a shortcut” (he knows it’s not). But about halfway through traversing the area, he’s jumpscared by 20 people screaming “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” directly in his face
-He’s startled at first, (despite your odd behavior he had no idea what you were planning) but after recovering he’s very happy and appreciative that you all threw a party for him
-Hajime still struggles with feelings of inferiority compared to his classmates, he sometimes wonders if his friends are his friends because they want to be or if it’s because they’re stuck with him. But moments like this help remind him that his friends really do love him, why else would the be standing here, at a party they threw him with giant smiles on their faces?
-For the entirety if the party you can see him with a small smile on his face as he walks around and interacts with people, he doesn't want to show how excited he is but you can tell just by looking at him
-And nothing goes wrong either! Nobody causes any trouble, the weathers perfect, the foods delicious, and all of Hajime's gifts have genuine thought behind them!
-Once the party's over and everyone's cleaned up and gone home, Hajime thanks you with the goofiest grin on his face for organizing this party. He's so happy and thankful he has a boyfriend as loving and considerate as you
-You end up going back to his place to wind down, you may send the night if you're tired enough, but either way this has definitely become one of his favorite birthdays of all time

The Morph (Hector X Male Reader)
At the water, Eliwood’s and Hector’s army are fighting the Black Fang once again. This time, they’re fighting against the morph, Sonia. During the battle, both sides are clashing their fullest against each other. Nino does the same but stops when she recognizes one of the morphs.
“Y/N!”
In front of her, a man with black hair and golden eyes looks at the little girl with an emotionless face. He’s on the other side, however, it doesn’t seem he intends to fight her.
“Stand aside. I have zero intention killing you, even if Sonia orders me to do so.”
“You don’t have to kill anyone.” Nino tries her best to safe one of the people she loves dearly. “Me and Jaffar are on the other side. They treat us nice. Please, can’t you join us?”

“So what? You’re still Y/N. You’re a kind guy that is always up to help me. When I’m having trouble casting a spell, you were there to help me. And I know you don’t want to hurt me. Please, can’t you switch sides? Or at least stop fighting.”
Y/N thinks about it. He got nothing to live for. To him, fighting for both sides grant him no benefit. Still, deep down, he cares for the mage. “Very well. I stop fighting.”
Nino gives him a grateful smile. “Really? Thank you!”
And so, the battles continue. Although dangerous, nobody manages to get killed. And with the death of Sonia, the army are taking a break for their next battle at their camp. As everyone dispersed, the lord trio catch up with their units, making sure everyone is alright. When they get to Nino, Jaffar and Y/N tent, they’re surprised to see a morph.
“What the-!?” Hector quickly grabs the nearest weapon and point it towards the morph.
“Don’t!” Nino quickly jumps between them, making Jaffer quickly jumps in front of the girl with his dagger out. “He’s good! He won’t hurt anyone.”
Hector stops and takes a closer at the morph, recognizing him. Eliwood too recognizes the man, while Lyn is focused on the fact a morph is at their base.
“Nino, who is he?” She asks calmly, wanting an explanation.
“This is Y/N. He’s one of my friends. He usually was with my mo- Uhm… Sonia. But unlike her, he’s good.” Nino explains.
“I understand the wary attitude. I don’t expect you to trust me. So if you’re willing to kill me, I understand.”
“Y/N…” Hector mutters. He drops down his weapon. Everyone is curious why he’s acting odd. “It’s really you?”
Y/N raises an eyebrow. “I’m sorry, but I don’t believe we never met, nor should you heard my name.”
Hector’s face saddens. “You don’t remember us, Y/N?”
Still, the morph doesn’t get what he’s talking about. “Remember what?”
Hector frowns further. After looking at him for a second, he turns around and leaves the tent.
“Hector?” Lyn is surprised by his sudden behavior. “What’s up with him?”
Like the brash general, Eliwood also frowns, but a lot less. He looks back at Y/N. “He’s upset to his dead friend back alive.”
“Huh? He knew him before?” Lyn asks.
Eliwood nods. Y/N is curious what their history is. “Lord Eliwood, you know who I am was before, do you?”
“Yes. We three used to be childhood friends. You were a noble of House Nightfall. There was an incident almost two years ago, where the entire house got died by a fire. Looking back, the Black Fang were definitely involved. …We never discovered your body. We definitely thought you were murdered, but we didn’t had any leads. We merely needed to accept what happened and move on, but… I don’t ever think Hector ever did.”
This is the first time Y/N heard this. It’s hard to belief, however he knows it’s true. He remembers his first memory almost two years ago. The timeline makes sense. His family got murdered, he got captured and then he got turned into a morph.
“Thank you for telling me.” The morph now wonders how this is all going to get down.

Back at Ostia, the group recovers after the loss of Ninian. With the castle heavily guarded, they got plenty of time to regroup before the next battle. During which, Hector continues to stare at Y/N, who is reading his times. He doesn’t know what to think or feel. Sadness, anger, irritation, he’s feeling it all.
It only took a couple of seconds until Y/N senses Hector staring at him. The man looks back at the general and closes the tome. “Good day, Lord Hector. Is there something you need?”
“That tome… I saw you use it at the last battle. It’s dark magic.” Hector points out.
“It is. What about it?”
“Dark magic was always you’re specialty back when you were… you.” Hector let out a sadden frown. “Is there is any chance you don’t remember me?”
“I don’t. My apologies.” Hector let out a huff. He remains quiet, merely looking at him. “Is everything alright, sir?”
“You look like him. You sound like him. You even have the same skills. But you besides that, you’re nothing like Y/N.” Hector clutches his hands, becoming annoyed. He remains quiet for another few seconds, until he grabs an axe. He wonders if he finishes the morph off, if it makes the real Y/N happy in the afterlife.
As he gets closer to Y/N to strike him down, he stops to look at Y/N’s face. His face is without any emotion, but his eyes look alive. There is definitely some kind of life in front of him, yet he can’t help but view the morph nothing more than a walking corpse. He hesitates, wondering if he should do it, before giving up.
“Hector?”
“Don’t say my name… please.”
Hector leaves, feeling more conflicted then he did before. Y/N wonders if there is anything he can do to make him better.

It’s near the end of the journey. The army is at the dread isle, ready to end it the entire conflict. They head to the Dragon’s Gate, guarded by the final, upper morph, Limstella. Though first they have to get through the opposing army. As they get to the other side of the battlefield, Y/N spots Hector as they’re no enemies nearby.
“Everything going well, Lord Hector?”
Hector turns back, somewhat surprised to see the morph. “Oh, it’s you… Everything is alright. What about you?”
“The same can said to me.”
Hector hums. “You don’t feel conflicted about fighting your former allies?”
“I guess I don’t. Besides Nino and the Reed Family, I never had much pleasant times with the Black Fang. Even the short time with your army brought me more joy then spending time with Lord Nergal and his men.” Y/N explains.
“Were you lonely?”
“I don’t know. I don’t know how life is with people I care about, so I never experience feeling loneliness.” Y/N answers. “But enough about me. I’m curious about you. Our last conversation left me wonder what is going on with you.”
Hector’s eyes sadden again. “I’m sorry if you felt scared.”
“I didn’t.” Y/N responds coldly, while sounding casually. “If you were to strike me down, I would be alright with it. Death doesn’t scare me.”
“Don’t say that!” Hector raises his voice. “Don’t say that again.” His shakenly says. “Whatever you are. Whatever parts of Y/N remains in you. I don’t want it gone. You deserve better than that.”
“Do I deserve that, or the Y/N you knew?” Hector remains quiet, refusing to answer. Y/N wonders what his answer is. “Lord Hector-”
“Hector. Drop the lord part.”
The dark mage accepts his request. “Hector, if you don’t mind, after this is all over, can I visit my former self’s house? I’m curious about my past.”
Hector shows a sad smile. “Sure thing. Maybe then you remember something…”

And so, after the final battle against the resurrected Black Fang, Nergal and the fire dragons, Lycia is saved once more. And so, the army got disbanded. Some quitted the life of fighting. Some start a family. Others are continuing their ambition. For Y/N, however, is visiting his heritage, alongside with the Marquess of Ostia.
They get to the former house land. Although recently destroyed, the castle looks to be rebuild. As the two looks at the building, Hector wonders if there is any bell ringing back at Y/N.
“We buried your folks in the garden. You want to visit them?”
“Yes.”
The two get to the back of the castle to enter the garden. It looks tranquil, with many water features like fountains placed around with trees sprouting everywhere. In front of the two is a massive shrine. Flowers are placed everywhere. The names of the victims are carved on the stone, even Y/N’s.
“So, here are my real parents…” Y/N looks to his right to talk to his friend. “Can you tell me something about them?”
“They were real bookworms, always hungers for knowledge. Somewhat distant, but you were always positive about them.” Hector shares what he can remembers, making him smile. “Everything you know about them is thanks to him.”
“That so?” The morph looks back at the shrine. There is no emotion on his face, merely looking out with a bleak stare.
Hector wishes he could read Y/N better. Although there are resemblances, the Y/N before and now are completely different. “We used to play in this garden, y’know? Tag, hide and seek, the list goes on. I miss those days.”
“I wish I could remember it.” Y/N confessed. He turns back to his friend. “Not because of me, but because it makes you happy.” Hector gives a genuine smile, happy to hear it. “What about later in our life? Were we also good friends?”
“…The best.” Hector hesitates for a bit before answering, which Y/N notices.
“Hector?”
Hector, who was forcing a smile, drops it. “We weren’t friends. …We were more than that.”
“Oh?” That explains his behavior a lot more. Compared to Eliwood’s behavior, Hector looked distraught, and it appears this is why. “My apology.”
“It’s alright.” Hector reassures. “I’m not mad at you. I’m just… lost. I thought god was playing some cruel joke on me when I saw you like this. I lost the man I loved, and then I got him back, stripped away from his memories and identity. And as I continue looking at you, I can only hope there is some way Y/N can come back at me.”
“I wish I could help, but…”
“You don’t remember.” Hector could’ve guessed that. “I guess I just have to accept the fact the Y/N I knew is gone.” There is an awkward silence between them. The two look back at the shrine, looking at it for a couple of second before the general speaks up. “I stop trying to make you remember the past. You’re not the same Y/N I knew. I probably shouldn’t treat you like the same person. If there is anything you want, ask.”
“What do you mean?”
“I can provide a house if you want to live a normal life. If you have any other desires, I’m sure I can provide it. Whatever life you want to live, all you need to do is say it.” Hector explains. “What do you want to do?”
Y/N thinks about it for a minute. He doesn’t have a place to call home. The only people he properly knows is Nino and Jaffar, but he doesn’t want to interrupt their peace with his presence. He doesn’t have any ambition to live for. There is only one thing he can think of.
“I want to be by your side.”
“Huh!?” Hector gets caught off guard. “Why?”
“I don’t have any other place to go. You’re the closest thing I got. You treated me with kindness.”
“But I tried to kill you.” Hector objects.
“But you didn’t, nor did you want to.” Y/N corrects him. “I know you still mourn my former self, and if really don’t want to see his face anymore, then I’m fine with it. But… I would appreciate holding part of my past, even if I don’t remember it.”
Hector looks at him for some seconds, before he shows a warming smile. “Maybe you aren’t too different from him. You were always considered towards others. Maybe even without you’re memories, parts of the old Y/N remain. I don’t expect you to remember, but maybe we should look at differently. You can make new memories. Happy ones, like we had.”
“Is that a yes?”
Hector smiles wider. “Yes. On this day, you will be by my side. I make sure nothing, or anyone is going to hurt you again.”
