Stars
I find myself in love with the night.
So sharp and clear, the moon gleams her watchful eye upon the mortal earth.
She cuts the darkness so clearly with her stars, ever her ten thousand sentinels.
burning.
blasting.
believing.
boiling.
beautiful.
I scream, an agonizing contrast to the quiet of the shadowed world.
a haunting howl of a song from my heart leaps out,
crystal clarity echos.
stars twinkle over my eyes,
Pierce my heart a thousand times, with glittering blades, made from dust, and dreams.
they clench my breath.
I gasp, I fall.
to be consumed, I am consumed.
Wrapped up in the teardrops of constellations, my lungs heave, and I thrash, and drown in a river of stars, my suicide.

Winter's Child
Winter is the womb...
Though, it's often called a tomb,
Where the seedlings of life,
Avoid the chaos and strife,
Whom thrive in other seasons.
The ground hides it's reasons.
Mother Earth sleeps deep,
Allowing gestation to keep.
When spring is born, it's slow to move,
Shaking off the cold, survival to prove.
Life to last long through the three,
Winter to thank, for life is free.
