Transphobes are freaking out over this because if trans women can give birth then their piss-poor list of what it takes to be a "real woman" gets smaller and they're freaking out over "the man who stole some poor woman's uterus!"
Except, like you can read without clicking on the article right there- this transplant is between two cisgender sisters. (Cisters, if you will.) One sister was infertile.
Now, could this mean that trans women might be able to give birth in the future with a uterus transplant? Maybe. I hope to see that day. (I'd donate mine if I could. I dunno if my organs would be any good to anybody because of my blood disorder.)

Oof, that is some old psychic damage, emphasis on psychic damage. I think it'd shake out one of two ways.
He is initially embarrassingly, horribly smug about it, until about halfway though the wombing process, at which point he realizes he has no real idea about how to raise and mentor a child and panics.
Vlad goes through with the whole thing with exactly zero self-reflection. Danny hatches and demonstrates to Vlad that he considers massive amounts of sass to be a love language, making him regret half-dying even more.
