mia likes to bake and ethan likes to scrap book and he always likes to take pictures of mias cakes/ baked goods and has a album for them 😭

i am a multishipper so i draw a lot of ethan ships so my girl is left out sometimes and im sorry mia 😔

i actually really like their relationship, its a really complex dynamic that i like to talk about with my friends

i think the issue is that when talking about mithan or mia in general, theres just SO MUCH misinformation that its honestly a pain the butt to talk about

people still think that she was responsible for the creation of eveline, people still think that she experimented on eveline, people still use examples of her attacking ethan as if she did it on her own will instead of being mind controlled

in reality she was just someone who oversaw the transportation of evie. im not excusing her or anything because obviously she knew what she was doing, but people really try to accuse her of doing something she didnt and it bothers me alot lol

the problem with the fandom is that people either try to water her down to girlboss who did nothing wrong and fail to acknowledge the complexity/ moral grayness of her character and the other side is misogynists 😭😭😭😭

its hard to talk about her without people either going "stop trying to villainize her and make her look bad!" or people ACTUALLY villainizing her and acting like heisenberg would have treated him better 😭😭

mithan is such a sad relationship because they loved each other so much and that ended up being the reason their relationship fell apart (sort of... its not like the broke up... ethan kinda just straight up died)

i get a lot a trouble for saying this, but mia is a selfish person.

its not a bad thing! well i mean it is but it doesnt make her some evil witch who is somehow worse than the guy how made a werewolf american ninja warrior. its just a major character flaw she has! which is good! mia being a flawed person who makes mistakes and morally gray decisions make her a more interesting person!

she is selfish in the way that she wants to keep her family with her no matter the cost. even if it means lying to ethan about her job so that he wont think different of her. here is a interrogation from the re7 DLC, which is easy to miss!

she isnt necessarily trying to apologize for the things she has done, she is more of a, "u wont need to forgive me in the first place if we just forget it all and move on"

she doesn't try to redeem herself for what she has done, she tries to move on and return to the normal life that she wants so bad. which is fine! everyone copes a different way and she has to right to move on from her trauma. the problem that lies in this is that she has a shared trauma with ethan who still has no idea what went on in dulvey and still effects him till the present (he is mold! this is a important thing to know! most people would want to know if they were a walking corpse)

she played a direct part in what happened in dulvey, and im not referring to the email, she did not send that. she never wanted ethan to come in the first place. she tried her best to send a video to him, begging him to forget about her because she wanted to protect him, BUT it didnt send.

he got involved because she was involved. its honestly a series of really really unfortunate events.

THOUGH! she did know what she was getting into. im tired of seeing the narrative that mia was innocent and didnt know what was going on or was simply a bystander. she knew what she was doing, she knew eveline was a bioweapon, she knew eveline was a child. she used a MACHINE GUN! she knows how to use weapons and was obviously trained for it.

she tried her best to keep everybody out of the mess, ex: warning the bakers not to take them in, warning ethan not to find her, sacrificing herself for ethan in the later half of re7

but again, those are the consequences of HER actions

her consequences just happen to get really big and end up hitting ethan on the head like a metal sheet 😭

their relationship is really so interesting, it makes me really sad to think about sometimes 😭they both went through something that nobody else would ever understand, in the end they really only have each other. they get moved to an entire different country and the dulvey incident gets covered up with a "gas leak"

its really tragic because their marriage definitely had some flaws and bumps. and i know im repeating myself but its because people always take this in the worst way possible but just because i say their relationship was rocky doesnt mean im saying they dont love each other!!! thats the entire basis of mias character!! saying she doesnt love ethan would destroy her entire character!

you can see in the re8 DLC how fondly ethan talks about mia! he loves her so much, though im not sure if his comments in the DLC are him narrating current (post re8) or his thoughts before everything went down and he died (pre re8)

everything mia did was because she LOVED ethan. she would never do anything to intentionally hurt him, she is not a cruel person. she hides the truth of her job from ethan pre re7 because she loves him and doesnt want her job to drive them apart. she CONTINUES to refuse to tell ethan the truth post re7 because she wants to move on a live a happy normal life with him and knows something like her being directly associated with the connections would probably cause (more) problems. she refuses to tell ethan that he is mold because again, hard to live a happy marriage with your husband after you tell him hes a bioweapon.

obviously i dont think it was right that she did this, thats what makes her selfish! she did it for herself! she did it for her family! she thought it would work out, she thought that they could move on and be happy together.

the issue is that ethan didnt want to forget. he wanted to know what happened, he wanted to know the part mia played, he wanted answers! which is reasonable! he knows to some extent that mia was partially responsible for his involvement and he was always suspcious that mia was lying to him about her job which is implied when mia says "you were right, i did lie to you"

she doesnt learn, she doesnt stop lying, her lies get bigger and worse and it sucks yeah but it makes her so interesting!!! she keeps doing stupid things under the idea that this is whats best for her and her family, that if she hides this everything will work out and it will be for the better but its not!

just because telling your husband hes dead and a bioweapon is a hard subject to bring up doesnt mean you DONT bring it up. people shouldnt use that as a reason to excuse mia 😭, its a very bad excuse and honestly highlights how horrible their communication skills were. you cant just not tell your husband that he is actually infected with the mold and not tell him for the tree years between post re7 and pre re8.

im not saying these things to put mia down, or try and villanize her. these are all just actual things her character does! she isnt evil, but she isnt a knight in shining armor either. we need to be able to have talks about complex characters without crying everytime someone points out a flaw. characters have flaws! and mia just happens to have a lot of them!

im not mad at her, i dont dislike her because i think this way of her. shes a fictional character! you can like characters that are morally gray, or villains that drink blood and make corpse soldiers. they are fictional! pointing out the flaws of a character does not mean i dont like them.

i wouldnt call her "the real villain of re8" but i wouldnt treat her like a damsel in distress either. she is a competent person, she knows what shes doing, she has her reasons for doing them. she made bad descions with good intentions behind them! they can coexist and we should let them!

i like mithan! its a complex relationship because they both love each other so much but hurt each other in the process

talking about them is just a pain in the butt because talking about mia is a pain in the butt lol

i really hate how she keeps getting sidelined, its super frustrating to see mia get put in a cage in every game 😭

its even more frustrating that mia straight up just disappears???? in the shadows of rose DLC... like she just stops taking care of rose and theres nothing said about it. no reason or explanation. i dont think mia would ever ditch rosemary because she didnt care about her, but we probably will never know because capcom sucks at writing and they probably forgot the mia ever even existed.

all in all, i think the fandom is really just full of misinformation which make people either think mia is some horrible evil person, or its full of people who think that saying mia messed up is the equivalent of comparing her to wesker lol.

i really love mia, shes a incredibly fun and complex character, its just hard to enjoy her sometimes with the people in the fandom haha.

also ive got no idea what u meant by "the backlash against them/mia accusations" so sorry if i didnt answer that!

“Realistic” Courting Rituals

GN!Reader X Various TWST Characters

This isn’t as smutty as my other works and was more of a straight forward, logical look at applying typical animal courting/mating rituals onto the TWST cast. A lot of people tend to write the beastmen and fae characters as animalistic, but rarely actually do the research into mating habits, so I thought I’d write up little headcanons or whatever.

Some of this comes across as rather silly ‘cause I stopped taking it quite as seriously midway into typing them up lol

All characters are 18+

Leona Kingscholar

Male lions will begin courtship by rubbing their head against the lioness’s head, spraying urine, and licking her genitals. He will also patiently follow around a lioness until she is ready to mate, where in which he’ll bite onto her neck to get a grip and mount her. Females are also very demandful and will become aggressive if a male isn’t mating with her enough. She’ll even attack him until he does.

Leona doesn’t have a pride full of females demanding attention from him, but he does have you which is a blessing for his lazy ass. Once he has an interest in you, he’ll start pursuing you by checking in on you, following you around to make sure that you’re safe (and to scare off any rivals), and will become more openly affectionate. Will definitely rub his head against you, maybe a bit too hard as he lets out a low rumble (not a purr, lions don’t purr, sorry). As time goes on he works up to licking and cuddles while napping.

Doesn’t spray urine ‘cause that’s unsanitary, but will give you articles of clothing and jewelry as a way to get his scent on you and ward off rivals. Is super patient and will wait until you give him the go ahead to the next step since it’s the lionesses that signal for mating to begin. I imagine the two of you were napping in his room with him nuzzling you and things just got heated. He won’t do anything unless you make it very clear you want him to dick you down.

Starts off with lapping at your genitals lazily until you’re ready to take him. Would probably prefer doggy style the first time since it allows for easier mounting, but won’t protest if you prefer a different position. Will latch onto your neck (specifically the back part) just on instinct to make sure you don’t wiggle around too much. There is a slim possibility he has barbs on his dick, but due to being humanoid (or maybe magic idk) they aren’t sharp and won’t completely wreck your insides. Definitely adds another unique layer of pleasure for you so congrats.

Will only mate as many times as you request ‘cause this is still Leona we’re talking about and he’s a lazy piece of shit. Find your inner lioness and demand another round or else his ass is grass.

Ruggie Bucchi

Hyena males have a variety of courtship behaviors meant to attract a female mate. Females are naturally more aggressive than males, so males tend to be submissive and may widen their legs to show their penis to let the female know he wishes to mate. Males will also “shadow” females and follow them around in order to get close to them, as females are extremely picky.

Okay, regardless of whether or not you’re a female, he’s going to be more submissive, unless you happen to be more submissive then him. In which case, he may adopt more dominant traits, but it’s gonna be weird for him. Will start following you around and copying you, like: If you eat, he eats. You’re napping under a tree, he’s napping under a tree. You’re studying for a big exam that week, he doesn’t have a big exam but will help you study anyways. Essentially becomes in tune with your schedule while still managing his own affairs somehow. Will also be more openly affectionate, yet will back off the moment he feels he’s overstepping. Female hyenas are very picky and the last thing he wants to do is lose his chance with you.

Will widen his legs more when he’s around you as a sign, but won’t outright say anything, even if others notice or point it out (it’s his way of flexing give him a break). Honestly, you could do almost anything to him and he’ll allow it ‘cause he doesn’t want to lose his chances with you. Like, you could grab his ears out of the blue and he’d just take it as a sign that he’s making progress. Like Leona, he won’t make his move until he knows for sure that’s what you want. Male hyenas aren’t allowed to mate unless the females allow it, so he needs you to basically outright say that, yes, he can fuck you and you won’t bite his head off. Feels truly blessed that the courtship went successfully and will be over the Moon if you want to go another round with him.

Jack Howl

Male and female wolves courtship is fairly neutral, with both snuggling, walking close together, mouthing each other’s muzzles, nose touching, and grooming. Males are very protective and will fend off rival males. Males and females get stuck together due to swelling in the male’s penis and contracting from the female’s walls, which can last 15-30 minutes.

Honestly one of the most “normal” in terms of wooing you. He becomes more physically affectionate and will want to spend more time with you. Quality time is key for him, so expect a lot of nuzzling against your neck and facial area, maybe a few licks here and there. He doesn’t have a muzzle per say, so he’ll substitute it with kisses, usually open mouthed ones. Out of everyone, the most likely to have multiple heated makeout sessions with you. A lot of touching and close contact, may even become overly protective of you to the point of warding off anyone he perceives as a rival (yes this includes Leona).

Will become more and more affectionate until you two finally mate. He’s a bit rough the first time around, making sure to thoroughly fuck you. May bite and scratch you but in a way that pleasures you. And yes, he does have a “knot,” but you two don’t get stuck like you originally believed because your walls don’t work like a female wolf beastmen’s so you’re fine. Is the king of aftercare and will go the extra mile checking you over, getting you hydrated, and napping with you.

Azul Ashengrotto

Male octopi have to be careful when courting and mating due to females cannibalizing them. Most courtship includes removing their penis/tentacle and presenting it to the female to take and use, though a male will also stretch out his still-attached penis and mate from afar as well. Typically, females pursue males and flash their beacon.

Put simply, he’s a little bitch when it comes to courting you and probably keeps his distance. He knows you won’t actually kill and eat him, but given his less than stellar first meet with you, he’s nervous. Probably won’t actively start pursuing you unless you gave him the sign to do so. What sign you may ask? Why, the beacon sign of course. This beacon is actually just a ring of Mostro beverage you got on around your mouth and laughed off while he stood there, flustered and trying to keep his hard on in check.

From that point onward he’d try to get close to you, while still keeping his distance. Most courting was in line with human customs at this point, so gift giving, quality time, acts of service, etc. But he could never work up the courage to try and bring up mating with you, too afraid. It’s morbid, but he probably did at one point consider just giving you his tentacle penis, too afraid to swallow his nerves and mate with you the practical way. Floyd encouraged this route while Jade managed to knock some sense into the idiot before he did anything rash.

Best bet is to have a moonlit dinner with him, get a few drinks in him to calm his nerves, and lead him into the nearest secluded room and start ravaging him. Might have a few instances where he looks about ready to bolt, but once he’s fully sheathed in you and you’re practically devouring his mouth, he’ll finally get the damn hint. Sex with his octoform won’t be until much later though, but don’t worry, he won’t unattach his dick when the time comes.

Floyd & Jade Leech

Female eels let male eels know they’re ready to mate by opening their jaws very wide, where in which the two will then wrap their bodies around each other and mate for hours at a time. Mating only occurs when the environment is warm enough and there’s plenty of food.

There is little to no courting, these two just go for it the moment you openly yawn in front of them on a particularly warm day at the lounge. All the requirements are met: The lounge is stocked with food, the weather is warm but not too hot, and you did just open your mouth wide like some needy whore right in front of them. Honestly, whether the both of them are present or it’s just one of them, there’s a good chance they will pull you into the nearest empty room and just start going at it. Unless you explicitly say otherwise, they’re down to fuck you the moment you open that pretty, little mouth of yours.

Note: The Leech twins know what yawning is, but if you repeatedly do so in front of them, they’re going to take that to mean you want some fuck. They’re currently on the menu and you just ordered a nice, hot serving of eel dick.

Will wrap themselves around you the best they can given their human forms, but would probably prefer to be in eel form since they’re more used to that form of mating. Yes, they can last up to hours and go multiple rounds. Buckle up ‘cause you’re in it for the long run babe.

Malleus Draconia

Dragons aren’t real, though they are usually portrayed as very possessive lovers who may court by giving jewels and gold. Some male lizard species have been known to scratch the back of females and lick her as a way to ask to mate. If she licks back, then he’ll proceed to mate with her. Many other lizard species also includes males showing off to females, pursuing them, head bobbing, and showing dominance.

Once Malleus actually realizes that his feelings are more than just simply platonic, he’ll begin courting you the ‘ol fashion way, dragon style. He becomes protective over you, will make sure nobody else is courting you and will make it clear that he is the one pursuing you. Will glare and snarl at anyone who looks at you for too long or attempts to woo you. Will show off to you, either through his magic abilities, knowledge on certain subjects, or even strength. Shows dominance by outmatching everyone else at something, which isn’t that hard for the much older and experienced fae. Might bob his head at you, but will stop after you questioned him about it and he got embarrassed over the silly act.

Instead, will start to give you gifts of precious gemstones, gold jewelry, and other valuables, ones that have meaning to them. Like, he’ll usually give you emeralds or dragon-shaped jewelry, or will give you your personal favorite gemstone. Once things start to really hit off and he’s alone with you, will go for it and gently scratch your back, followed by a light lick. Honestly, Lilia or somebody better inform you the meaning of this beforehand because if you don’t reciprocate with a lick of your own, he’ll take it as a rejection and become disheartened. But if you do reciprocate, then you’re in for a long, rough night ‘cause this dude’s dick ain’t human and his goal is to properly ravish you. You will be sore and covered in bitemarks the next day.

Sebek Zigvolt

Crocodile males will secure an area for mating, scaring off any rivals, before beginning the official courtship. The males will then begin to rub their snout along or on top of the female’s head and continue to do so until both are rubbing against each other or “dancing” together. Some vocalizations and bubble blowing in the water may occur as well.

How you managed to catch Sebek’s eyes despite him only having eyes for Malleus is not exactly known, but you did. Congrats, you now have an overzealous manbaby who’s in denial of his feelings and is trying his best to avoid you, only to end up following you when he’s not with Malleus. He wouldn’t even realize it at first, but he acts protective around you and will keep any rivals away. The way he treats you directly doesn’t change much outside of him (trying) to be nicer and not insult you quite as much (as per Lilia’s advice). It isn’t until he starts to notice you reciprocate his efforts that he begins to secure an area for you two (most likely his bedroom or some unused room at his dorm).

When it comes times for the deed and he leads you to the room, he becomes much more affectionate and starts to rub his face and mouth along your head and neck area, breathing in your scent. He’s embarrassed by the action, but can’t help it as it comes almost natural to him. Once you start returning the gesture, he’ll take it as the sign to go ahead and he’ll start creating a deep rumbling sound while fucking you. Is a mix of rough and gentle, going from nipping you to outright biting.

Lilia Vanrouge

Fruit bat males will find a female to roost with and spend extensive amount of time grooming the female. They’ll also vigorously lick the female’s nether regions, possibly to either arouse her or to remove rival sperm.

Similar to the Tweels in that he kind of just goes for it. Dude’s old and has been around the block enough to have confidence that he could just go right into courting you and eventually win you over. Will start spending more time with you, sharing quality time and just hanging out. Will wait until he’s reached a point in the relationship that you’re comfortable around him and now he can start the actual process of courting for mating.

Will invite you over for tea, which becomes rather apparent wasn’t the actual reason as he begins to groom you in the form of brushing your hair and preening your overall appearance. Will chat with you, buttering you up and complimenting you throughout. Will forgo the brush in place of his fingers and he’ll start to nuzzle and kiss your neck. This can take up to hours before it actually reaches the bedroom. When you actually get to the bedroom, prepare for another hour or so of him just going down on you, licking and nipping your lower region until your orgasming again and again and again. Better buckle up because this bat fae’s mating is a day-long experience.

Che’nya

Male cats will mount the female, usually grabbing the back of her neck with his mouth to keep her from pulling away. There aren’t any real courting habits, males just mate females if they reciprocate. Sometimes males will gather around a female and take turns mounting and mating her. Male genitalia have sharp barbs on them, believed to stimulate the female and scrape out rival sperm.

I’m gonna be honest and say I almost forgot Che’nya and don’t have much to say on him. The most normal of the beastman, even more so compared to Jack. If he did court you, then it probably just includes him sneaking into NRC to flirt and mess with you. Will randomly appear and peck you on your face, neck, or mouth. I can also imagine him being unbothered by any of the others being interested in you, like, as long as he gets his own turn with you, he’s fine with it. When you two actually do it, he’ll mount you from the back and bite the back of your neck (much like Leona though gentler). And also like Leona, his dick barbs aren’t sharp and won’t hurt, stimulating you more. Will maybe cuddle and purr with you afterwards, unless you two get caught or something. In which case, he’s pecking you on the lips and disappearing with a laugh in the air.

Haunted House Headcanons

When you reach the end she brings you back to the line to get in to go in again even though you both know where most of the scares are in the place already

Ends up in an entire conversation with one of the scare actors when you guys reach the exit of the attraction for a second time

Makes it an annual occurrence to go to a haunted house every year

Even finds one to go to when it’s not even close to Halloween

“Carol it’s February why are we going to a haunted house?”

“Because it’ll be fun c’mon scaredy cat!”

Girlie is so scared to go to one

You can sense the nerves on her and you tell her she doesn’t have to go but she insists that it’ll be really fun to go

Literally clings to you the entire time

Won’t get more than a foot away from you before she’s glued back to your side

Screams at every small movement she sees

Won’t go into any room or around any corner first

Pushes you quickly into the new areas when one of the scare actors came up behind you both and scared her half to death

She flails her arms when she gets scared and she almost hits you on multiple occasions

Practically runs out when she sees the door to the exit

You have to bring her to get ice cream after in order for her to calm down completely

Her voice is completely gone the next day from screaming so much

Used to be a big fan of haunted houses

Would take women there so he could “protect” them when he was in his womanizer days

Now with everything that’s happened he doesn’t exactly see the appeal of them like he did before

He’ll get slightly triggered by the flashing lights and loud noises

When you offer to leave the place because of it he insists that he’s fine and that you both should stay

You reluctantly agree and he swears that he’s fine

He doesn’t have any more episodes for the rest of the house and he finds himself having a good time otherwise

The scares don’t really phase him, other than a couple of good ones that catch him off guard

Finds it hilarious when the other people in the house get scared at all of the wimpy and childish scares

Will keep making the “I’m too old for this” type of jokes

Has a great time and would probably drag Sam there once in order to try to scare him

Is honestly terrified

Jumps at noises before you’re even inside the haunted house

Tries to play it off like he didn’t just jump or was kidding, but he’s really bad at it

You can feel him shaking next to you as you start to walk into the scary building

You have to force him to move his feet when he stops a couple steps into the building

Keeps his eyes closed for most of the time so you have to guide him on where to go

His spidey senses are all over the place when in the building even when he knows there’s no actual real danger

Squeezes your arm tightly every time someone screams

You have to tell him when you’re out of the building so he can open his eyes again

Screams when someone taps his shoulder to ask him if they could borrow his phone since theirs died

Gets extremely embarrassed because of it and stutters a lot when he hands over his phone, almost dropping it in the process

Is not able to sleep for the night and ends up having to watch comedies to get his mind off being scared

You have to forcibly bring her arms back down at her sides so she doesn’t end up harming anyone

Ends up accidentally breaking one of the props after it jumps at her

Tries to put it back and fix it, but it ends up falling over again

Quickly walks away from it after she tries and fails multiple times to fix it

Laughs about it after you’re both out of the house and away from the area of the workers so they don’t suspect

They definitely suspect something when you both conspicuously fast walk away from the attraction

Overall has a great experience

There isn’t really a reason for him to go to one since for one he won’t be able to see what’s happening and two he would know when each scare was going to happen and from where

Goes with you anyway since you sound so excited about it

Chuckles every time you jump closer to him

Pretends to get scared a couple times but you know he’s just pretending

Ends up somehow scaring one of the scare actors?? You actually have no clue how

Genuinely does have a good time because he finds your reactions to everything amusing

“Stop laughing at me”

“I’m not laughing at you I’m laughing with you”

“Matthew I am not laughing”

You threaten him with not inviting him to go to a haunted house with you again and he quickly apologizes because he had a good time and would want to do it again, even if he couldn’t see the attraction or enjoy it for the reasons everyone else does

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐟𝐟

The person who is probably the most down to go

She’s the one who comes up with the idea to go

Doesn’t get scared as easily as some of the other characters do

Confidently walks through the area, not getting deterred by many of the scares

You have to work to catch up with her with how she’s moving, trying not to slow down much when you get jumpscared

When she gets scared however, she gets scared good

There’s a specific scare that she doesn’t see coming that she jumps back from, almost crashing into you

Will want to go through it again when you’ve both reached the exit, or find a different new one to try

You’re both at it until the early hours of the morning

It’s a shock that you don’t have a heart attack from all the different houses she drags you to

Honestly she would probably act like how an average person would in a haunted house

Screams and gets scared at parts while also seeing the fun in it all

Will most likely make fun at how some of the props look

Laughs at the more ridiculous ones because who decided to make these look like this

She does get more scared from more of the props than the scare actors though

She doesn’t expect the first prop to come down from the ceiling into her face and she recoils so hard bumping into you

She glances at it as you both walk by it to get to the rest of the attraction and scoffs at the weird zombie/skeleton looking creature that scared her

“I can’t believe I got scared at that thing.”

Gets scared again by one that looks the exact same

Won’t go out of her way to go in it again but is willing to do it again at some point

You casually get drinks after to talk about your experiences in it

She won’t let the one scare she had down and keeps insisting that she definitely would not be scared if she would have seen how dumb it looked beforehand

rollo x reader who's scared of magic headcanons (gn!reader)

so. here i am, writing this HJSJDJDSJ. but i actually wanted to write something with rollo for a long time and i thought that i can wait until this event ends.. but i'm too impatient, haha. also yeah, if you haven't read the event story yet, these headcanons are full of spoilers!

okay, so i probably should explain this concept. you see, i know that this fandom usually depicts mc as someone who is 100% against rollo's actions and wants to protect their friends AND THAT'S COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE, but one day i sat there and was like.. "but what if mc wasn't like that". what if mc was so tired of everything and they were so traumatized because of everything that happened that they became scared of magic? what if they even hate it now? you can imagine the reader being someone who loved magic and was interested in it, but eventually became terrified of it because of their trauma or you can imagine them being someone who found this world too scary from the start. also, they don't like nrc students that much (but they don't want to admit it) and pretty much get a corruption arc, so if you don't want to read something like that.. you should probably skip this one.

warnings: a mention of a panic/anxiety attack, a possibly unhealthy relationship dynamic, mc's behavior is also very similar to ptsd.

♡ you know that so many people would go "i wish it were me" if you told them about everything that happened with you in this world called twisted wonderland. come on, you have a cute cat sidekick (who acts more like a gremlin), you get to see so many pretty boys every day and this world also has magic! why wouldn't you want to stay here? sure, you miss your family and friends, but also you have to agree that this world is more fun than the one you came from. you agree, right, y/n?.. you wish you could say that you do, but you're not so sure anymore. living in twisted wonderland sounds fun, it really does, but you never felt so stressed and anxious in your entire life. you wanted to help these boys, you wanted to understand them, but you didn't want to become their therapist. you have your own problems, you just want to go back home already, you miss your loved ones! and as you kept trying to help everyone and you saw just how dangerous their magic can be.. you started to get more and more scared of it.

♡ you don't want to go to nbc at all at first. you don't find it as exciting as others do and you agree only because crowley told you that you might find out how to go back to your world there. and you knew well that crowley is most likely lying to you again, but.. what's the point in refusing to go? if you agree to visit the city of flowers, you won't find any hints there, but if you stay here, you also won't find any hints. you're tired of your dorm and this school in general, so maybe going to a new place will make you feel better. also you just want to get a break from seeing crowley's face every day and you sure hope that you won't find another student to take care of there.

♡ when you meet rollo for the first time, he feels like someone who's completely different from nrc students. sure, you can definitely feel that there's something.. off about him at first, but he seems like such a polite and caring person that you stop thinking about it at some point. but rollo officially gains your trust when he says that it must be tiring for you to be surrounded by magic users all the time. you don't think anyone from nrc has ever said such a thing to you, you know that they care about you, but most of the time it felt like you were just being used and people rarely asked you about your own feelings. honestly, you feel like you're about to cry when you hear those words from him but you try to stay calm. it's probably not a good idea to tell him about everything that you had to go through, you literally just met him! and why did he just say that he wants you to forget about your problems while you're here? this.. this doesn't feel right. why is he so nice to you?

♡ you notice that even though rollo is mostly nice to everyone here, he definitely treats you better than other students. you don't know the reason, but you're not sure that you even want to know it. yes, you've been manipulated quite a lot of times in the past, but.. you don't really have any energy to try and "see right through him". even if he just wants to use you, for some reason you just can't bring yourself to care. it's probably because you find people being genuinely nice to you more surprising than people manipulating you. so for now.. you want to believe that he really is just that kind. you have some very nice and interesting conversations with him and you find yourself enjoying spending time with him like this. you don't even want to go back to nrc students, haha.. it was a joke, but for some reason your anxiety comes back when you see their faces again. hm? what did rollo say just now? it sounded a bit like "those magic users.." but why did he say it in such an angry tone?

♡ you really want to have fun at the festival, but you just.. can't. you feel too tired, everyone is so loud and noisy and you can't focus on anything. you want to dance with everyone as well, but for some reason, when you see them having fun together.. you remember all the overblots, you remember all the times you had to do crowley's job, you remember all the tragic backstories that you had to listen to. but before you can stop thinking about all that and join them even though you can't even stand properly.. the fireworks start. you know that malleus just wants to make the townspeople happy and you agree that they deserve to have the best festival ever, but also, everything is even more loud now because everyone decides to join malleus. they even manage to turn this into a competition. haha, nrc students never change, do they? you wish you could laugh about it, but for some reason you can't even smile right now. what is wrong with you? why are you feeling like this? shouldn't you find these fireworks as beautiful as everyone does? these boys are trying so hard, you should compliment them for their efforts! grim and malleus especially want to hear compliments from you, considering that they're the ones who started it, but you can't say anything nice to them right now.

♡ for some reason, it gets harder for you to breathe and your head starts spinning. it's probably because the noise is too overwhelming for you, you could try and go somewhere more quiet but you can't just leave them here! but why.. why is everything so scary right now? you're so mad at yourself for not feeling as happy as everyone else, but after everything that you had seen, it's impossible for you to see magic as something good. you can't focus on anything else right now and your mind is screaming at you, begging you to run away and hide somewhere, but you still sit there and watch everyone. but you didn't know that somebody else has been watching you all this time too.

♡ you find it strange that the only thing that you can hear clearly right now is rollo telling malleus that if he and other students are so powerful, then they should use their magic more carefully. you feel so shocked, you didn't expect someone like him to say such a thing. it would be normal for someone like trein to say it, he's your professor, of course he would be worried and he would tell everyone to be more careful with their magic. and you already had a feeling that rollo is a very responsible person so you weren't surprised when you noticed that he doesn't really like the fireworks, but for him to say something like this.. you can't help but agree with him.

♡ after he's done talking to malleus, he wants to make sure that you're okay and when he looks at you, it becomes obvious to him that you're not okay at all. he sincerely apologizes to you for letting something like this happen and says that he should have noticed that you're not doing so well. rollo helps you find a little more calm and quiet place even though that's pretty hard to do right now because of the festival, but to be honest, you feel more safe already because of him. while you're trying to calm down and you're starting to breathe normally, rollo suddenly asks you, don't you think that magic is too dangerous and people can't just use it as carelessly as those students did? you can easily hurt someone with it and not all magic users can control it, some of them don't even try, they don't care what happens to other people. maybe this world would be better without magic users.. no, it would totally be better without them.

♡ he wants to hear your answer and you don't know what to say. no, actually, you do know what you want to say, but you're not strong enough to do it. saying those words would feel like betraying everyone else, yes, you're terrified of magic, but you don't want all of your friends to disappear! "friends".. you don't know if you actually would call them friends if those magicians weren't your only company in this world. you try to say that magic is not that bad, but something stops you. you try to say those words, but you realize that you can't because that would be a lie. you have thought many, MANY times that everything would be so much better if magic didn't exist. it's not only because of overblots and other terrible things, it's also because you wouldn't come to this world if it wasn't for magic. this is why you still can't go back home.

♡ you still can't find the courage to say that you think rollo is right, so you end up crying and you keep saying how scared you are and how tired you are. you blame yourself for crying in front of him, because you don't want to make him worry about you, but also, finally letting your feelings out like this feels nice. you needed to cry, you needed to admit that you find this whole situation terrifying and that you want all of this to end. you don't notice rollo looking confused for a second, it's almost like he's not sure what he's supposed to do, but when you look up at him, he's already holding you in his arms. and you realize that you needed someone to hug you like this for a long time.

♡ when rollo tells you about his plan, at first you think that it's a bit too much. you agree that this world would be much better without magic, but taking their powers like this.. you ask rollo if they're really gonna be okay after that, especially the fae students. rollo simply says that you're too kind for villains like them and that you don't have to care about them this much, they don't deserve your sympathy. after everything you've done for them, they are the ones who should feel sorry and beg you to spare them. you still don't want to hurt them too badly, but also.. maybe you and rollo really should teach them a lesson. it's fine, they are gonna be fine, you're doing this to save them, it's not your revenge or anything like that.. at least that's what you want to think and rollo assures you that you two really are going to save them and that your intentions are pure. it feels weird to hear just how much rollo wants to change this world and that you two are the only ones who can truly understand each other even though he's still a magic user himself and you are a magicless human. him meeting a human, who hates magic as much as he does and you meeting a magic user, who is willing to make this scary and cruel world a better place for you.. haha, you two are basically soulmates.

Yandere Riddle Rosehearts x Little Brother Reader headcanons/short story(?)

Oh boy, am I nervous about this. I love TWST and I really hope that I do these characters justice. Okay, I wrote this and there needs to be a bunch of different warnings I realized. If I miss a warning that you think is important, please inform me. P.S. This is platonic and also I have a completely different idea for an older brother of Riddle's.

Warnings: Obsession, abuse, mild force age regress (Maybe? Not certain), gaslighting, overall not good things.

Riddle Rosehearts

As we all know, Riddle's childhood was rough growing up because of his mother.

He is her legacy walking.

But what does that make the second offspring?

A little more than servant to the first one.

Your mother engraved into you since birth to obey every word that your older brother says.

She forced heavier training regimens onto you instead of studying. Saying "You don't need to learn. Your brain is of no use to Riddle."

Because you both were very young, none of you understood that what she was doing was wrong.

You were only three years younger than Riddle but you already have more strength and endurance than him.

(By the way, you're shorter than him.)

But that doesn't mean that you were useless in magic either.

Your unique magic, "By Order of the King", creates a rosebush on the back of whoever disobeys Riddle's words. The rosebush reacts to Riddle's mood, if he's happy, roses bloom but if he's upset, thorns start growing. The only way to get the rosebush off is if Riddle forgives the troublemaker.

When Riddle met Trey and Chenya, that's when he started to realize that your mother's treatment of both of you was unnecessarily cruel.

He tried in his daily life to get you to be your own person but your mother made that nearly impossible, threatening your safety if you dare when against her orders.

When it was time for Riddle to go to NRC, your mother made you go along with him to make sure that he would be safe.

Dire Crowley welcomed both of you with open arms (Probably to get on your mother's good side) and for the first year, everything went decently fine.

Riddle quickly became the dorm leader and enforced the Queen's rules onto the rest of the dorm. He also made you basically a soldier to carry out his every whim. The power seemed to have gone to his head a little. His unique magic took care of most of the troublemakers but every once in a while, you were called on to use yours.

The dorm was terrified of disobeying Riddle too much and end up facing your wrath.

Then the second year rolled around and everything became different.

With a certain ginger, bluenette and a magicless prefect, the dorm was thrown into mild chaos.

Riddle was collaring people left, right and center, terrifying even you.

Then he overblotted.

"You fools! I'm always right!"

"You can't force people to just follow your dumb rules!"

"Yeah, dorm leader! Can't you see that your expectations are too high for anyone to reach?!"

"Why you-!"

Riddle was getting madder and madder to the point that I was starting to become scared of him hurting himself more. I quickly decided what was my best course of action.

"By Order of the King!"

I sent By Order of the King to the creature behind Riddle, effectively stopping it from attacking anybody. Sadly, this also got Riddle's attention.

"(Y/N)! You dare go against your Queen?!"

I only nodded my head, getting ready to fight. I never wanted to hurt my older brother but it seems that might be the only way to get him to snap out of this.

Riddle then lunged towards me and we got into a bit of a tangled position. His dress had thorns which were digging into my skin wherever they could. I got a few good hits on him but I overestimated how much the overblot would also improve his physical strength as well. It also didn't help that the ink that coated him was trying to take control of my limbs as well.

"If you're so willing to go against your Queen, then it's Off with Your Head!"

I felt his collar go around my throat, cutting off my oxygen, ruining my focus and overall, making this fight harder. While I was trying to regain my focus, I felt my head being lifted off the ground before slammed repeatedly onto the ground. The last thing that I truly remember was Riddle's cackling before losing my consciousness.

The next thing I knew was that I was in the infirmary with Riddle crying by my side and bandages wrapped all over my head.

Riddle then grabbed you into a hug, being wary of the injuries that he caused you, and promised to be a better big brother. Something sounded wrong in his tone but you decided to brush it off.

It took close to a month for you to heal completely but when you were allowed back to the dorms, Riddle was completely different.

"(Y/N)? Where are you going?"

I turned my head towards my brother.

"I'm just going to do my daily tasks for the dorm."

Riddle then walked up to me and ushered me into a hug.

"You're too young to be doing chores for the dorm. Let's just go outside and play around for a bit."

"Sorry, Riddle but I've got to do my part as well."

Riddle's face became colder while he glared down at me. I've never seen him this angry at me.

"(Y/N). That wasn't a suggestion. It was an order. You're going to stop acting like this and act your age."

Riddle then grabbed my uninjured arm before dragging me back to our shared room. He forced me to sit on the bed before grabbing me into a cuddle. I felt my body stiffen and freeze into place. I'm not used to this type of attention before.

"You, like me, have been denied familial love. I wasn't strong enough to protect you from that witch when you were younger, but now, I'm going to change all of that."

That's when your life was turned upside down once again.

When Riddle first realized that you shouldn't be ordered around, he didn't do it as much. But now, he does it all the time, knowing that you'll follow whether you want to or not.

Riddle refused for you to do anything that was considered "Too grown up" to him. Which meant anything that wasn't breathing, standing, walking, and sleeping.

He hand fed you, helped you change, and many other embarrassing things.

"You're my baby brother. That means that I have to help you with everything."

That's always Riddle's reasoning either against you or against anybody at the dorm who would try to help plead your case. The only difference between you asking and someone was the fact that if it was someone else, they would lose their head for the next three days.

Riddle was slowly starting to become more and more suffocating. He forbade you from talking to anybody in a different dorm and started limiting people in his own dorm.

Heck, Trey was now on thin ice with Riddle.

"What exactly are you doing here, Trey?"

"Umm, you asked me to serve you and your brother for this tea party?"

"Right. Apologies."

Eventually, the new suffocating nature that Riddle adapted became too much for you but you couldn't leave Riddle's side. Your mother's conditioning wouldn't allow you to.

"Why are you frowning, (Y/N)? You shouldn't be this upset."

"I'm sorry, Riddle. I'll try to be in a better mood."

"No, I want to know why you feel the need to throw a tantrum. I understand that it's natural for boys your age but you must let me know why you're upset, to fix it."

"Well, I don't like how you've become controlling."

"Brother, do you really think that I'm controlling? Look between me and our mother. I'm only trying to liberate you."

"By treating me as if I'm an infant?"

"You are not being treated as an infant."

"Yes, I am. You won't let me do anything for myself!"

"I'm trying to give you a childhood! If you think that you're being treated as an infant, then I'll treat you as if you're an infant!"

Riddle stuck true to his words.

He shrunk you down with his magic and started treating you as if you were only two years old.

Riddle was very close to raising you like how your mother raised you but thankfully, Trey was there to sway him from certain methods.

It took three whole weeks to convince Riddle to let you be your original height again and have small freedoms again.

"See, (Y/N)? Isn't this life much better? Are you still feeling like you're being treated like an infant?"

Yes, I thought bitterly to myself but I held my tongue.

"No. Thank you for giving me the freedom to be a child, Riddle."

"You're welcome, (Y/N). Now, how about we go and give you a bath? You've been playing outside and got mud all over you."

"Yes, Riddle."

your headcanon about Sailor Venus being the reason the Silver Millennium falls is so interesting!

what's the role of Metalia and Beryl in it? did they work together with Sailor Venus?

I actually don’t really consider Metalia when I think about SilMil and the Dark Kingdom, if i do implement her, she’s usually more of a ‘force’ rather than an entity per se, but to answer your question, not really.

Silmil Venus wants to cause the downfall of the Silver Millennium, but she has no means or interest to interact with the Earth colony. She’s very aware of the multiple rebellions and surges, but it’s more like she uses them to her advantage rather than fully cooperate with anyone. Her main means of manipulation are through the Princess and even the Queen herself, pushing the Queen to take the Earth threats more seriously and thus causing further dismay and desperation upon the people of Earth, accelerating the possible tipping point that could finally cause a full on War. While also keeping secret of the more delicate aspects of the rebellion, such as infiltrators. She knows exactly who’s planning to turn their backs on the Kingdom, but since it highly benefits her, she keeps it a secret.

As for Beryl, Beryl has so much potential, she genuinely has and I do plan on exploring aspects of her character in my version of Silmil. To start she’s not just a random maiden (or witch for some reason), she’s a part of a highly secretive rebellion group against Moon kingdom, who’s goal is to free Earth and its people from the ruthless dictatorship of Serenity. This group includes tons of different people, sort of like a spy network, but at its core it’s composed of Beryl herself, Kunzite, Zoisite, Nephrite, Jadeite, Thetis, Enymion and .. Luna. (If someone is more curious about this one shoot an ask and I’ll explain further, but i rlly wanna focus on Beryl in this).

Beryl’s goals are to infiltrate the Moon Kingdom, steal and shatter the silver Crystal, being aware that that crystal is the center of all power for Serenity and the other Senshi. This information being gathered by Luna and also by a mysterious voice who offers her guidance.

A lot of how exactly the Moon Kingdom falls is still in the writing works, but I basically see Queen Serenity finding out about Luna, executing her and launching what is by all means a missile attack to Earth, destroying and killing thousands of people in the villages where Beryl and the knights reside. This hatred within Beryl causes the mysterious voice to fully come forth and offer her a power in exchange for Queen Serenity’s life, she takes it and a full on attack on the Moon starts. The Queen is obviously taken aback, but she’s also very old and much weaker than she used to be, so she leaves most of the work on Venus. Venus takes it willingly and kills all of the other senshi behind closed doors (which at this point is only Mercury, Jupiter and Mars), looking to find the princess next.

Beryl and the Queen have a one to one, where the queen becomes more and more aware that she’s not making it out alive and at this point she’s not putting much of a fight, it’s the inevitable end of a cycle and her time was about to come soon anyways. The Queen is old and tired, the empire is falling, but a new ruler is going to be reborn regardless and she will start a new empire. She accepts death and lets herself be killed by Beryl. In the meantime Endymion is looking for Serenity, but Venus gets to him first and kills him. When Serenity finds her way to her deceased lover, Venus lies, like she always does, saying he was killed in battle, along with the rest of her guardians and her mother.

By means I still haven’t fully figured out (I will find a way for it to make sense, I’m so determined!) Venus sword has the power to reawaken a soul lying dormant within a reincarnated body if the previous reincarnation was killed by said blade, so she proposes to let Serenity be killed by her so that hers and Serenity’s souls will live on into the next life and will eventually be able to fully reawaken and take over their reincarnated selves. It will be their new life, where Serenity will be able to live happily ever after with her beloved prince, free from the shackles of the will of her mother and any responsibility to have to govern any empire. Serenity accepts and lets her ‘dearest of friends’ Venus kill her. With a smile on her face Venus points the sword toward herself, knowing she will live on, free from the queen and finally being able to kill her princess before she’s able to enslave her again in her next life.

Beryl and the kings return victorious to Earth and live relatively regular lives after that. Skip to the time where the senshi are starting to get reborn and the mysterious voice reaches out for the souls of Beryl and the other kings and Endymion, their job is not done and they must stop the new princess and her guardians from rebuilding a new Empire in the current timeline.

A lot of this is still in the writing works, so stuff might change, but this is more or less how I see the fall of the Moon Kigdom and Beryl’s involvement in it. She’s sort of like the live long enough to see yourself become the villain trope, she was the hero all those years ago, she’s just blinded by rage and power fueled by this mysterious voice.

Project Garmr

This is just a wild list of ideas I had after finishing Phantom Liberty and beeing slightly dissapointed how they treated Kurt Hansen as a character.

- Spoilers ahead -

First of all: I love PL but I think it has its weaknesses. But that's for another post.

I am manly dissapointed, that he was introduced as the main antagonist (Myers is the actual villian if you ask me) but got very little screentime or impact on your choices or story imo. He was there, the quests involving him where epic but in the end he just got low to medium depth lore and an unspectacular death. I could rant about the problems I have with the fight (gameplay was sick but the story was meh) or the not-fight if Alex is taking care of him. But that's for another post aswell.

I just want to write down some ideas and headcanons about how things could have turned out differently, if he didn't die.

- I'll give it to V or Alex, that they're actually able to defeat him

- But he'll survive the attack, badly wounded but alive

- He'll then recover in the hospital, maybe getting new chrome to compensate the injuries

If you leave Hansen alive after the fight, you'll later get informed by Mr. Hands that he was assassinated in the hospital.

But what if that's not true. What if Kurt faked his death and spread this missinformation. By placing a body double at his funeral and asigning Bennett and Jago to give the public some drama to make his disguise waterproof but secretly still pulling the strings in the back.

Why? Because it's an opportunity. An opportunity for revenge. Playing hide and seek spygames against the spies and government, who got him into this situation in the first place.

He failed to kill or capture Myers and that's grinding his gears. The grudge he's holding against her is becoming unberable. After Song and the agents of the FIA screwed him over he's more than done fucking around with the marionetts and wants to start a last attempt to kill the puppet master.

He basically wants Myers head on a silver plate.

- This top secret plan is communicted as 'Project Garmr' within the structures of Barghest and Dogtown

- only Kurts most trusted associates know about his plans and that he is still alive

- the risk of someone spilling the tea in the lower ranks of Barghest are to high

- means he needs to get along without the manpower of his militia. At least in the beginning

- in addition to that he doesn't want that his smuggling business or Dogtown in general gets involved too far

- he worked to hard and is proud of his achivements to throw everything into the trash for his personal revenge

- he reaches out to his contacts all over the world, asking around who'd profit from the death of Mrs. President and shifting powers

- all or most of it undercover, so his disguise stays in tact

- building kind of an army

- the course and outcome of this plan would highly depend on the people or organisations Kurt's siding with

- because after all he wants Myers dead and in the best case replace her with someone in his favor

- could mean he's 'accidentally' starting the next war or does it in a more discrete manner

- it would suit his character if he used all his wits, instead of just sending some missels to her face. He would not make this mistake again

If this would evolve into a legit fanfic or what ever there are a lot of possibilities to give the Colonel additional lore and depth. For example:

- Meeting people of his past, friends, lovers or enemies alike

- Showing different sides of him (vulnerability because of a trauma or cyberpsychosis or smth like that)

- more of his top tier interrogation skills

- knife fights! Oh yeah

Yeah that's it. For now. A big 'What If'. Don't know, really like the idea somehow. All of it is a WIP that I came up with in the middle of the night but I would like to make it a little project in some way. Even though Kurt didn't had the impact I'd hoped for in the game, he managed to get into the top 3 of my fav chars within the blink of an eye lol.

Side note: Garmr is a dog/wolf mentioned in norse mythologie (who has a lot in common with Fenrir, who is probably more popular). He's described as a fucking huge, blood-stained dog caught in chains, guarding Hel's gate, the door to the underworld. He is ascociated with the beginning of Ragnarök, the final battle between beasts and gods. Once he breaks free from his chains, he's ultimately responsible for plunging the world into chaos.

Think that's an appropriate name Kurt would choose. He's a mythology nerd lol.

Why I Dislike Huntl0w (in the show)

[Disclaimer]

This is not an attack on anyone who likes the ship. Someone having a different opinion doesn’t mean they have anything against you personally. Just block/filter the tag “huntl0w negative” if you’d like to avoid seeing me say anything negative about the ship, including this post.

For the record, I’m using a zero instead of the letter “o”, so that my posts don’t show up in the search results for the ship. Also, other people who dislike the ship are free to use the tag, if they want to.

Note: In this post I will only talk about how Hunter and Willow’s relationship is written in the show, and I will do my best to leave aside any personal biases or headcanons I have for these characters. I also won’t talk about fandom issues, like some people not tagging the ship - making it difficult to avoid, or getting upset with others for not shipping it, sometimes due to preferring another ship.

I admit that I never liked the ship to begin with, but I would be willing to tolerate it (in the show) if it was better written - and that’s if the ship is what the writers are even going for. Willow has shown zero interest so far. People also seem to forget that not all blushes are romantic, and that Hunter is very new to friendship and genuine affection and could just be flustered.

If the writers are building up to this being either a one-sided crush on Hunter’s end, or him misinterpreting his feelings, what I’m about to say doesn’t apply, and this could end up exploring something interesting, like how to healthily deal with rejection, or how to understand your feelings better. It’s also possible this is just a brief crush that won’t go anywhere and will quickly disappear.

But if this is setting them up to become a couple? This will be the only thing in the show I genuinely dislike. The writing in The Owl House is generally pretty good, so this would be a disappointment.

While yes, it’s likely that the relationship would be set up better if we had a full season 3, the writers knew that the show got cut, and if they don’t have enough time to properly set Hunter and Willow up as a couple, it should’ve been cut altogether. I don’t think one or both of them having romantic feelings for the other is important to the story we ended up with, or even contributes anything interesting to it - again, unless it’s one of the options I mentioned above.

Why Huntl0w Doesn’t Work:

To better explain why Huntl0w doesn’t work (in the show), I will compare it to Lumity and explain why that worked and was much better written.

Luz and Amity met in S1EP3 ‘I Was a Teenage Abomination’, it took a couple episodes for them to begin developing a friendship in S1EP7 ‘Lost In Language’, and they only got together in S2EP8 ‘Knock, Knock, Knockin’ on Hooty’s Door’

Their enemies to friends to lovers journey took 10 episodes (11 if you count the two moments in ‘The First Day’), and they spent a lot of time together on screen - and off screen as well - gradually building their relationship, and they also did it all in person. And they go to the same school, which helps them be around each other more.

In S2EP9 ‘Eclipse Lake’, which is right at the beginning of their romantic relationship, it’s mentioned that Amity tried to get Luz dissected a few months ago, and with other mentions of time passing in the show, we can get a general idea of how long it took for the relationship to develop in terms of time - it seems to be around a couple months.

Only in the next episode after the friendship was first established we got hints of Amity having a crush - and note that the one blush that can be interpreted as romantic happens close to the end, thus they spent more time together before the show began hinting at romance. Her feelings are gradually made more obvious, and eventually Luz begins to show signs of romantic feelings too. It took almost a season from Amity’s first blush to them getting together, and they spent a substantial amount of time developing their relationship.

I’d also like to point out that Luz wasn’t Amity’s first or only friend/healthy emotional connection. She used to be friends with Willow when they were younger - and they start fixing their relationship around the same time she develops romantic feelings for Luz, and she also now has a better relationship with her siblings, who - while still playfully teasing her - are now supportive.

Now, the first time Willow and Hunter met was in S2EP13 ‘Any Sport in a Storm’. From that point on, they have very little interaction on screen. They interact in only 4 episodes.

This is the only full episode they get to develop their dynamic. They did seem to text on Penstagram, but we’re only shown a very brief glimpse of it (and simply sending pics of palismen isn’t enough for a relationship), and they definitely didn’t see each other in person again until S2EP18 ‘Labyrinth Runners’, in which they only interacted briefly. Even in the two final episodes of the season, where they spend more time together, they barely interact.

They’re friends, and they care about each other, sure, but there’s very little to their relationship so far. Hunter has a stronger bond with Gus than her - they spend most of ‘Labyrinth Runners’ bonding, and they directly interact in the finale more as well.

The potential (one-sided) romantic hints are also very easy to miss. For example, the blush on Hunter at the end of ‘Any Sport in a Storm’ is barely even visible (I wouldn’t have noticed it/thought much of it without the fandom losing their minds over it), and the ones in ‘Labyrinth Runners’ didn’t register as anything potentially romantic to me without seeing people claim that it was. The one in ‘King’s Tide’ is the only one I picked up on as possibly being romantic-coded.

The blushes are also all we have. There aren’t any other changes in Hunter’s behavior that are specifically shown around Willow, which was not the case with Amity - her changes in behavior around Luz (like nervousness) were more apparent, and the blushes also became more frequent and noticeable as time went on. Even the way Gus blushed at Bria in S2EP5 ‘Through the Looking Glass Ruins’ was a more obvious crush than whatever Huntl0w has going for it, even if it was brief.

If the only hints at romance between Hunter and Willow are just blink and you’ll miss it blushes from Hunter, while they have barely any interaction on screen, needless to say, it’s not nearly enough buildup for them to become a couple, especially given that Willow hasn’t even shown any interest yet. And no, Willow not hitting him or being first to rush to the airship isn’t romantic, she would have done the same for any of her friends.

We have three 40-minute specials left, which is like 6 normal episodes. While their relationship will definitely be developed further during that time, I don’t think it will be enough to justify them becoming a couple. They’ve known each other for less than one Boiling Isles month (so around one human month), and they barely interacted during that time.

While it may seem like Huntl0w is taking only slightly less time than Lumity from the time they met to the potential beginning of a romantic relationship, it’s actually much less, once you look at how many episodes they interact in, and how much time they spend together on and off screen developing their relationship. And again, all the romantic hints so far are very easy to miss.

It’s also worth mentioning that Willow and Gus are Hunter’s first ever friends in his entire life, and his first healthy emotional connection (aside from Flapjack)

Hunter barely knows what a healthy friendship looks like, and to immediately turn one of his two friendships into a romance, when they barely even know each other? Why? Neither of these characters needed a romance arc - and, frankly, would do better without one - and yet it’s being shoved in, despite having very little ground to stand on and being completely unnecessary. (Also, neither character has shown any interest in romance prior to this)

Their relationship is rushed, poorly built up, and only works if you assume that desiring a romantic relationship is the default and something everyone should want and prefer over other types of relationships and should get into as soon as possible (aka amatonormativity), because any serious romantic feelings here have no basis. Again, they barely know each other, and have spent very little time together on and off screen.

The dynamic will be better off if it continues to develop as a friendship.

Other Issues:

Now, this was a singular instance, and it might remain so, but I still want to mention it:

Although everyone here is in danger, Hunter chooses to save Willow. You’d think Gus would make more sense, given that he’s an illusionist and also the youngest and smallest in the group (and the fist of Kiki’s Abomaton also hits exactly where he was standing a second ago), and yet, Hunter goes for Willow, who he knows is arguably the most powerful in the group, being both physically strong and a powerful plant witch, and the most likely to make it out fine. Despite all that, he literally carries her away.

This could just be a one-off instance, but it could also become a pattern, in which case, it’s the same problem as in ‘Labyrinth Runners’, with someone being overprotective of Willow and thinking she needs it, except this time instead of Amity it’s Hunter, and the reason is poorly written romance. It rubs me the wrong way that we now have another character being needlessly overprotective of her, especially this soon after the episode that addressed this exact problem.

Hunter is acting like Willow needs his protection when she doesn’t, and he’s prioritizing her over his other friends, who are at higher risk at that moment, for no other reason than his crush, which isn’t great either.

If the writers had to do the same thing that was shown as an issue in an earlier episode just to show how much Hunter ~loves~ Willow, it once again demonstrates how poorly this relationship is written. Willow’s wishes and her development shouldn’t be ignored or undercut in favor of romance.

[Edit: This came up twice in the replies, so I’d like to clarify that while the reason Hunter didn’t save Gus instead is likely so that he didn’t break the illusion or notice the spell circles too soon, this could’ve been achieved with everyone simply dodging in different directions. Hunter saving Willow wasn’t necessary, but the writers still made that choice]

I also think it’s a bad decision on the writers’ part to have a group of five that consists of two couples and one (not aroace) guy who’s single. While I’m not saying the others would “abandon” Gus if they all had partners, it’s still weird, and it kinda singles him out - pun not intended.

This is like what Winx had - where every main girl got a boyfriend, but in some way kinda worse, because here the romance is within the friend group and might overshadow the friendship, rather than simply existing alongside it, like it would if we only had one couple (Lumity) and the other three were all either single or dating someone from outside the group.

Given how romantic relationships in media and society as a whole get treated as superior to friendship - sometimes leagues above it - and also as a universal desire everyone has/should have (aka amatonormativity), this would be a problem, because whether intentionally or not, it could reinforce the idea that romance is necessary and/or inevitable (at least after a certain age, which is why 12y/o Gus is left out) by pairing up most of the main group.

Now, my last concern is that putting Hunter into a romantic relationship this soon after he escaped an extremely abusive environment, and is just now beginning to understand healthy relationships and heal, might come off as ~true love~ being used to “cure” his trauma, if it’s handled poorly, even if it’s not the intention. Given how little time there is left, adding a romantic relationship this late to a character like Hunter is not going to be handled properly. It’s better to just leave him single and not touch romance for now.

Final Thoughts:

Again, hopefully the writers aren’t going to make them a couple, and instead explore one of the options mentioned in the beginning, or this doesn’t go anywhere - this wouldn’t be much of an issue, given how easy it is to miss the blushes.

Misa: Everybody Supports Women. again a bit of a stretch, im not completely sold on it. but there are moments that make me go ugh yes. it feels like the toxicity of the idol industry along with, well, everyone around her going against misa, or at least that's how it feels to her. i think it encapsulates the isolation of her character and how people don't see her suffering cause she has a pretty face perfectly. misa is such a tragic and ultimately lonely character who lost everything she has ever loved. and she does not get enough comfort and sympathy for that."she's probably self-centred, we hate her and she's nothing, if everybody leaves her then she had it coming"

I want to ask this bc youve been in the fandom for longer and I'd like your analysis of this as a social phenomenon.

So the tweet that was deleted was a mutual saying Ada is an anti-hero and she is important to the narrative but she is not part of the main cast. He was attacked by so many ppl he deactivated.

Most of the responses were "Keep Ada out of your mouth, talk abt your fav". What is this lmao. When did expressing your opinion on a character from a videogame become such a big deal.

Is this new in the fandom? Bc God knows I scroll past dumb takes all the time bc like you keep saying, nothing we say here truly matters and defending your fav character to death or bragging abt how many likes your edits have on TW or TT aint gonna make a difference. Capcom aint really looking.

They're so quick to jump to defend pixels. Is it projection? They think they're the character or sth so it feels like theyre being attacked? It truly baffles my mind bc it got super ugly.

This is a new thing...ish. There was always "Ada's a bitch who manipulated Leon" discourse, but Ada fans always historically celebrated her anti-hero status. It was one of the main things they liked about her character.

This strikes me as the younger generation not knowing what an anti-hero is. Because it's not being taught in schools anymore. They don't realize that an anti-hero still performs heroic acts and is generally looked at as a protagonist. They looked at it and probably read it as "the opposite of a hero." And that's not their fault. But as a Vegas folk, if I were to bet on this, that's what I'd put my money on having happened.

Also bragging about engagement on your fan edit isn't a new phenomenon, but this generation takes it far more seriously than mine did. My generation looked at numbers purely as clout within the fandom or a mark of quality of their work. This generation thinks their numbers mean that Mr. Capcom himself is going to see it and make their headcanons canon. It's insanity to me.

But in terms of an overall jumping to defend pixels? Oh yeah that was always a thing. The Ada vs Claire arguments got so viciously misogynistic in a way that outperformed fetish anon, even. But it wasn't constant, because social media didn't exist. These arguments happened between 2-4 people at a time in multi-paragraph essays on livejournal and various forums -- not single-sentence dogpiles of constant bombardment against one fucking person.

Social media has made fandom demonstrably worse in every way. It has done nothing to improve or build on fandom. It has only eroded the experience and made it shittier.

SHADOW KIRBY IS SO COOL AND SWAG POST

hey guys gals and gamer pals. shadow kirby is so swag and cool. Originally a very minor character from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, with only a small handful of appearances after that, there isn't a lot of information about him out there. And a lot of information about him is very contradictory (especially involving his appearance). However we have a small handful of concrete information which shouldn't be ignored. And I have kindly compiled a lot of it here.

to preface i'm making this post entirely because i see plenty of headcanons that directly go against canon information (often by people who just use him as an extension of DMK and don't care to look into him) but i will avoid my bias and just state everything I can find in the Game Canon. I will not include information from the various Mangas/light novels, as that is it's own separate canon and every iteration of him is drastically different (From what I've seen. Also a lot of it tends to contradict game canon.)

KIRBY AND THE AMAZING MIRROR:

Despite being his debut game, Shadow Kirby isn't very present within KATAM. He only appears in one room in some of the mirror world's areas. Specifically in in Rainbow Route, Mustard Mountain, Carrot Castle, Peppermint Palace, and Candy Constellation. If you return to these areas later, he will appear there again.

While he does technically attack Kirby, he doesn't really try and goes away on his own if you don't kill him. (Interestingly, likely due to sprite limitations, Shadow Kirby doesn't have any hat to represent the copy ability he has.)

In KATAM he can be swallowed to gain the copy ability he has, and he drops either an invincibility candy or 1UP when defeated. However he shows up again regardless of any of that.

During the final fight against Dark Mind, if Kirby loses the master sword, Shadow Kirby will appear to throw it back to him. He can also toss him a 1UP during the fight. While nothing explicitly states that Shadow Kirby is a good guy at the end of the game, in the final cutscene it does say that Shadow Kirby will keep the mirror world safe.

"But they remain on guard… After all, who knows when another evil might arise? Don't worry, though… Mirror-world Kirby will be there to keep them all safe!"

interestingly while in the cutscene Shadow Kirby is referred to as 'Mirror-world Kirby', if you attack him the game says he is Shadow Kirby. I'm assuming this was done due to his lack of appearances in the game and to keep people who forgot about him from getting confused.

The most this game shows of Shadow Kirby interacting with Dark Meta Knight is him following after Dark Meta Knight through a door. There is no pause screen information directly characterizing him either, everything has to be assumed.

KIRBY TRIPLE DELUXE:

ok this is a short section.

Shadow Kirby is the final opponent in Kirby Fighters and is fought in another dimension. When he's defeated, unlike Dark Meta Knight and Shadow Dedede who shatter into glass shards, he floats into the air and 'disperses' instead of shattering. Notably, unlike in KATAM, he does wear a hat when using a copy ability. In a fucking miiverse post, Mr.Kumazaki stated: "In the version of the game in Kirby: Triple Deluxe, we wanted to emphasize that your worst enemy is yourself, so the final boss was a Shadow Kirby that had the same copy ability as you." Which is STRANGE WORDING but :shrugs:. Importantly, while he looks weird and different here, he is still called Shadow Kirby. We'll talk about how KF2 confirms this later. While none of the above is explicitly canon, it's still important to note. He also briefly appears in the front row of the Kirby Master video, which you get when you 100% the game.

While Shadow Dedede makes his first appearance in the game, the two characters interact, and have no interactions in the future.

KIRBY STAR ALLIES:

Shadow Kirby makes a brief appearance in Kirby Star Allies. In one graphic with DMK in Heroes in Another Dimension, and in the background of the Jambastion. He flies up close but distant from Kirby, and then flies off.

Originally, Shadow Kirby was planned to be a Star Ally. However a 'One character per main series title' rule was implemented, and Dark Meta Knight was chosen to be in the game over Shadow Kirby.

Also Zan swore at him on twitter.com canonically but it wasn't for any reason specific to him really.

KIRBY FIGHTERS 2:

Shadow Kirby appears again in this, and for once we have actual text about him. What a novelty!

In the Story Mode he appears three times, and has a stage exclusive to him which uses Taranza's theme. Importantly, every single boss before is always with a buddy. Kirby himself always also has a buddy (whether that be himself or someone else).

However Shadow Kirby, unlike everyone else, fights entirely alone. In the single-handed mode he also fights alone.

Due to Shadow Kirby not being able to mimic some characters exactly (Gooey, BWD, Magolor, etc) he copies the next best thing. (Whip, Staff, and Beam)

He has the same strange color palette seen in Kirby Triple Deluxe, however it is explicitly stated to be Shadow Kirby, and that he is from the mirror world, in the flavor text.

Here is all of the flavor text. Pre-battle tips:

Story mode, first fight: Shadow Kirby Appears "A naughty shadow has appeared. You suspect it was born from the mirror version of Kirby's innocent soul!"

Story mode, second fight: Another Shadow Encounter "Once again, you cross paths with the one who lurks in Kirby's shade! Send that naughty shadow packing!"

Story mode, third fight: Max Power Shadow Kirby"A third encounter with Kirby's shadow?! Its power is off the charts, but you can still win with your buddy's help!"

Single-Handed battle mode (regardless of difficulty): Kirby's Shadow "This naughty shadow can appear anywhere, anytime. After a long absence, it has shown up again to join the battle tournament!"

Pause Descriptions:

Story mode, first fight: "This naughty shadow was said to have been born from the mirror reflecting Kirby's innocently pure soul. He has all the power of the real Kirby and uses his mirror-copying technique to thwart you!"

Story mode, second fight: "Kirby's shadow is back for more! This stubby gray ball seems to think he's pulling a little prank, but he's way too powerful for that!"

Story mode, third fight: "The mightiest Shadow Kirby yet is back for another round! His devastating power suggests he is a guardian of the Mirror World, found far beyond the sky."

Single-Handed battle mode (regardless of difficulty): "Like Kirby's own shade, Shadow Kirby appears out of nowhere and vanishes again. This naughty shadow rejoins the battle after a long absence! Difficult though it may be, you must defeat this copycat!"

Vague random information:

In most of the artwork he appears in, Shadow Kirby takes on his Triple Deluxe/KF2 appearance, and is floating or flying on his warp star with a parasol. He is in the background of all of these pictures.

In his main plush, he is made out of tweed and has a basic Kirby face. (Blue eyes, red open mouth). This is the only time his eyes are shown as blue. In the smaller keychain plushes, he has light gray eyes and his mouth is closed. In the rest of the art for his merchandise, he is shaded with a light purple.

Between Kirby Triple Deluxe and KF2, the weird 'nebula' design was made to be less purple.

In a Dedede Directory showing off some of KF2, pictures of Shadow Kirby in every game he's appeared in are shown together. Further confirming these are all the same person. A translation of this directory is as follows: "Kirby! You again... hm? Oh, this is "Shadow Kirby"! This guy's a resident of the Mirror Land who appeared in Amazing Mirror - he loves to play pranks and is always running around when he shows up. He can use Copy Abilities, and in the new game Kirby Fighters 2, he'll challenge Kirby with the same ability as him! Well, too bad! The one to defeat him will be me!"

In KF2, Shadow Kirby will also copy the exact kind of hat Kirby is wearing. (Since some hats have customizable options). In multiple games (Squeak Squad, Kirby Fighters Deluxe, and Dream buffet) you can change Kirby's appearance to look like Shadow Kirby.

ok i said i wouldn't bring up the manga but I will bring up the one light novel I read. In the KF2 light novel Shadow Kirby gives Kirby a hat to fight him, and doesn't speak. This somewhat contradicts with some of his pause descriptions. Also, he is not invited to fight in the buddy tower, he just shows up and Meta Knight/King Dedede are surprised when he does.

ABSOLUTE CANON:

Here is the very controversial section on what is absolutely canon about Shadow Kirby. All of this is based on what I’ve said within this post, and you can confirm it all on Wikirby or the fandom Wiki.

He is not explicitly good or evil, but wants to protect the Mirror World from threats. Making him the guardian of the mirror world.

He is a prankster, and is described as naughty.

He is inactive in KATAM and KSA for unknown reasons.

He willingly enters the battle tournament in KF2, and (according to the narrator) seems to view his fight with Kirby and his buddy as a prank.

He has "All the power of the real Kirby."

The Shadow Kirby in KF2, KATAM, Star Allies, and Triple Deluxe are all the same person.

so in conclusion: shadow kirby peace and love. Also don’t trust Wikirby or the fandom wiki entirely for him since whoever wrote the original stuff was biased and injected some of their own interpretations into stuff while stating it as canon.

AND THANKYIOU !!! means a lot to me i love talking abt him im :DD OMG.... AEUGH...................[ YELLS ] ok im gona try to explain this. they mean a lot to me ok i got a lot of ground to cover. warning that i get into headcanon/theory territory here. its all based on canon but there are things that can be interpretated differently to other people so.

they are very, very complicated i think.

ive been thinking about this for a bit but like i really dont think kris would hold much against him. like, trying to kill them or the fact that he manipulated them into helping him. even for like possibly ripping them off too in his little shop roulette. i don't think kris thinks very highly of themself, but they often empathize with others.

in the case of spamton, i think there is enough understanding there that they could handwave it away. especially at the end of his battle, where he has calmed down somewhat. i always mention it's a moment of clarity because he sees through all of the lies that he's been telling himself all this time. the same feelings that had him trying to justify killing a child.

he obviously still has a lot of issues to work through, but after the spamton NEO fight he doesn't really mean any harm. and he clearly wants to help, since kris's situation matched his own so much. but it is sad that in the end he admits that he's always been a puppet- in more ways than one. he's been used and thrown away so many times.

there's a point i make about spamton's fight being kinda easy, and how this ties into his character narratively. for any other media i would not do this but its UTDR so i think it's kinda viable. spamton gives you several free turns or advantages, even during his NEO fight.

things off the top of my head: the free heal, the phone call, destroying his eyes nose and mouth is permanent for that turn, if youre not hit during the first instance of his phones for hands attack it never advances to the harder version until you get hit.

and like, you could probably say some of those are also the result of spamton's desperation, clumsiness because he isnt in the right mind. but i also think there was a part of him that didnt want to kill them. he is very loud, very in kris's face. but he was also probably like this with others, and i think he desperately wanted something. validation, attention, things of that end. and obviously, a friend.

he thinks he can find meaning through NEO. he learns the truth of the dark worlds- there's a reason he wants to see the sun, the light world; where his existence would feel REAL.

and i wouldn't want to deny any of his wrongdoings, its not really the point im trying to make. there are just a lot of things that added up to his spiral, isolation being one of them. without actual companionship, he never had other people to pull him out of every self-destructive spiral. kris is able to have something like that, even when they were little. though lonely, they still had noelle.

but then- the divorce. dess's disappearance. their brother leaving. like spamton, so many things hit them at once. it's the same life changing event like spamton's fall. his eviction, being abandoned by the addisons, when he was taken advantage of. they both drew further into themselves, punishing themself into isolation.

theres a lot there that gives them room to see themself, but to also extend kindness. whether they fight or spare him, thats ultimately the players decision. but i think the intention from kris still the same- they just want to help.

and i do think kris is invested in his plight, the scene i mentioned before but when they put the disk into the robot, they repeatedly hit it for any reaction. not something we can control so it sticks out a lot. i think like- they really wanted this idea to work. they're thinking that maybe if it actually helps spamton be free, maybe for them too? and thats why it's so haunting when he drops to the floor when his strings are cut. but a lot of people kinda went over that already. the point is that kris projects a lot of themself onto spamton, just as he did to them.

i operate under the assumption that kris in someway wished for someone to tell them how to be liked, how to talk to people, how to Not be such a weirdo. things like that. i dont really think they were happy being themself. it's clear they didnt really think they fit in, even when other people were nice to them. its not that they were treated badly, just different. but even that can feel isolating, it can separate you from others when even the smallest of things is not understood on the same level.

kris being the only human in hometown obviously affected them a lot, they have their headband with the horns to feel like one of them. toriel checked out a book on how to care for human children, etc. again, just like spamton, there is a separation they have from others.

but unlike kris, spamton had this sort of infinite drive to achieve what he wanted on his own. and even though he ended up depending on someone else so much, manipulated by his own desire to be acknowledged, he is still somehow standing at the end of it all. mind is in tatters, but still here. which i think is what sets him and kris apart.

but we also start to see kris fighting for themself in the game. i think there was a point where they really just didnt want to be themself anymore, where they gave themself up so someone else could take their place. make them feel wanted, like they finally fit in. they start to realize that they want to experience all of these fun things the SOUL is experiencing. they want to be apart of this, they dont want to be in the dark anymore. (ahahaliek the spamton line ahah where hes like "its so dark" ahah you see what i)

(i also think 'the dark' is synonymous with isolation, so ykn) (just like i interpret 'heaven' to mean many things. freedom, companionship, acknowledgement)

i do think their friendship is very awkward. like. on some level, neither of them are very great at interacting with people? i do think spamton has some innate charisma that's been with him since an addison, but he is still very off-putting as his puppet self. it's why no really wants to talk to him, besides other weirdos (kris.)(joking. maybe)

kris is kind of clingy, i think they form really deep attachments to people that are understanding of them, among other things. (susie is a really good example of how fast they get attached to others.) i do think the kinship they feel with spamton would kinda run deep too? and they'd still want to help him i think.

major major headcanon territory here lets GOOO:

so i think kris likes picking spamton up. because he is smaller than them, he can kinda act as like a cuddly pillow or something. and because i think kris is so afraid of physical touch as much as they crave it, the idea of them hugging someone else is very different than someone hugging them. they'd pick him up without warning him and i think that would make him kind of upset.

he's always used to others looking down on him, without ever really saying it? pitying looks that might be from sympathy translate to something else for him, and i think to pick him up like that is upsetting.

obviously this is how they're like at first but you know they both get on the same page eventually. think he'd find it comforting too at a certain point, but they gotta get there. the point im trying to get across here is that theyre very awkward. they can get away with a lot of nonverbal communication, because i think spamton is able to read kris pretty well. this is also due to the fact that even when he projects onto them, they still are very similar. so it just happens to line up with how kris is feeling most of the time agjdfkgfd.

but there are things they'd have to really talk about too so. the idea of them kinda working out their boundaries and gradually becoming a lot more comfortable with each other is a very nice thought. eventually they'd be kinda attached to the hip and having kris run around the lightworld with spamton just sort of hanging out in their scarf or backpack sounds so fun SDHFDSJ.

for as much as spam would like to explore it's like. he'd want someone there to be with him as he does. cos whats the point. he's recently come to terms with the fact that Yes having Friends is Awesome actually so. without saying it, he hangs around kris. eventually everyone else in hometown probably. ya know it just keeps going until he has a legitimate support system.

and this doesnt have to apply only in the lightworld too, him reconciling with the addisons, becoming friends with jevil, etc. etc. i just talk abt lightworld stuff cos im biased but like. So much.

kris being his first friend makes me Weep i'll cry. and the fact they'd extend it after everything he's done in his desperation is kinda neat. and i dont wanna act like kris is kinda like. the nicest person ever because i do think, as mentioned above, they dont really know where to draw lines.

in terms of like, physical boundary, but also like in the way they prank noelle. not everyone is going to be okay with being scared like they do to noelle. even some pranks that may seem harmless have consequences that are unexpected. this mischievousness is nothing but play to them, and obviously they wouldnt mean it if it hurts someone. (IE: they'd never prank noelle the way the player does, pressing off the switch where she could seriously get hurt.)

kris is just a kid though, so like a lot of this is just unintentional. it is difficult for me to see kris having any malevolent intentions with others

but yeah, i think they can be a little mean-spirited sometimes without meaning to. They would be a bit like this to spamton too, so. they both have things to work on. this is a complete side thing but i think they both joke about the morbid a lot or see themselves as Things that are just not human those are small things though sdhfjdkg

and i make this comparison a bit in my fic, but their voices are very raspy? kris, from not using it very much, and spamton who is in perpetual shout mode completely destroying his vocal chords. (hypothetical vocal chords? whatever is going on in there. ) i just think that is nice :]

their relationship is an awkward but tender thing i think... i like this scenario where spamton sort of like helps kris fight for themself. like to allow them to see the value in being themself, and how thats something they shouldnt lose. i like him sort of motivating them, in a way? things like forcing them to get up in the morning faster, really pushing them to live their life.

I remembered that back then when I was still on the damn bird app, I saw how people were making fun of this one guy because they said that the osc sucked a lot, and meanwhile I think that the osc didn't took it seriously (and that the guy maybe meant it in other way), they did have a point there.

The osc sucks. But not for the reasons you might think of. It sucks because it became too harsh. Too aggressive. Too full of expectations from others artists to eachother. People who feel entitled to stuff, who had made sure there wasn't content of a certain pairing or duo just for the sake of their headcanons, or people who attack eachother because someone has a different take over a different character or event.

People who have the AUDACITY to treat artists as machines and not like they're people just because they like certain pairings that aren't even problematic whatsoever, people who put too much pressure to other artists, people who just like to hurt others because some people have a different take on stuff.

People who treat artists or others as MONSTERS, literally worse as criminals just because they didn't know about an fucking tweet from almost over a decade ago or so that isn't even valid now, since the person who made said tweet has said recently that they don't care anymore. Even when said person HAS asked about the reasons as to why something wasn't popular or accepted.

They claim to have had "reached out to the artist", yet all they did was harass them and didn't even give them the chance to explain themselves.

And don't get me started on how people in the osc seem to not understand that people make mistakes and that they can change as well after that. That constantly spamming or harassing someone won't make anything better.

And everyone is at eachother's necks just at the MERE FUCKING SECOND someone does something that goes against what's popular/known in the fandom.

And this is so fucking sad because all of these stuff has affected my friends and I. I don't like the OSC. I don't think I will EVER like it after that type of experience.

No one in a fandom should feel that scared of having a different opinion, no one in a fandom should be scared of posting certain type of content, no one in a fandom should feel embarassed of themselves just because of the whole ambience the fucking community made.

No one should feel like everyone is out to get them just because they have different opinions.

And most importantly:

NO ONE should be attacked because of an honest mistake, or because of a ship, headcanon, anything.

AND if it's problematic of some sorts, or you might have a different view of it, you should TALK to the artist FIRST OF ALL if you have your concerns about it. Reaching out isn't making a call out post with information that you're missing too. Just FUCKING talk.

Everyone has gotten too comfortable being an fucking asshole.

Remember that the members in your community are people too. They have feelings and concerns. They have a life. You certainly have one too.

So for the love of FUCKING GOD.

Be a fucking decent person.

A lot of this is usually covered in my request guidelines post, but seeing that I’m currently not taking requests and no longer have a guideline post… it only seems right to make a post like this

I primarily write NSFW 18+ fics and headcanon posts. That doesn’t mean I can’t / won’t write angst or fluff, but people really seem to prefer my smut more than anything so it’s what I stick to.

Can you write a reader who is…

I do not write fics where Y/N’s race is specified

I do not write fics where Y/N’s weight is specified

I make sure that the Y/N in my fics are as blank as possible. I don’t describe their skin, their body shape, their hair or eye color, hell even their nipple color because that can imply a specific race. I want everyone to be able to enjoy these fics and not feel left out because of the way Y/N is depicted.

I am able to write fics where Y/N is Male [NSFW and SFW]

I am able to write SFW with a nonbinary Y/N

Can you write about a reader who…

I do not write fics or HCs about a reader with an ED

I do not write fics or HCs about a reader who SHs

I have nothing against these topics and fully understand that you may be looking for comfort through these stories but I kindly ask that you do not request me to write for them. We all have our triggers and our traumas and I am simply not comfortable with these topics for a variety of reasons.

I am comfortable writing for just about anything. However, I have my handful of absolutely NOT.

I will not write age play / age regression

I will not write daddy kinks [as a joke is different]

I will not write incest where there is blood relation [step siblings are a different story]

I will not write foot fetishes [sorry to that one anon]

Do you still write for…

I write for the shows I listed above, if I ever stop writing for any of them they’d be removed from the list.

I hyperfixate on things so you’ll see an influx of writing for particular shows when my interest in them is really high at that time.

I wrote for Demon Slayer and Demon Slayer alone for about 6-7 months on this blog before adding new shows to my writing collection. It just depends on what show I’m really feeling at the moment — for a while it was jujutsu kaisen and then it was Jojo’s and Chainsaw Man. Now we’re back on to MHA & KNY. It changes lol

Why aren’t your DMs open?

I am a very introverted person with a lot of social anxiety lol

When it comes to DMs the messages would often get buried and then people would take offense to me not responding so it’s just easier to keep them off

This also isn’t my first tumblr blog, I used to have one for a very different fandom years ago & that ended in a dumpster fire of death threats and bullying because two bigger blogs at the time started putting their followers against me for something I didn’t even do lol

So honestly I rather keep to myself and just stick to communicating through asks! I love receiving asks and talking with you all.

Why does it take you so long to write?

I have a usually busy life outside this blog. I’m a full time university student in a major that requires field experience and observations. I also have a minor I’m working on alongside my major. I work a part time job and am looking into interning…

Oh and I’ve got chronic iron deficiency anemia so I can barely function as it is. Especially in the periods where I’m waiting on infusions… like right now. I can’t be awake for more than a couple hours without needing to lay down and sleep again.

Plus I really can’t sit down for long periods of time and focus…and I’m always getting new ideas… did I mention I also have two energetic puppies who are always looking for attention?

So that’s why I can take me over a year to produce a sequel.

Why do you write for some characters more than others?

Head canon wise, I try to keep things equal in length for each character. Like my pillar head canons for example

Fic wise? I just have my preferences. Sometimes I enjoy writing a particular character and their personality more than others.

Why can’t we talk about ships/shipping?

I don’t need that negativity on this blog is the simple answer.

I used to be a die hard Kpop stan. I think that speaks volumes for some of you but for those who don’t get it… I’ll explain.

Shipping is toxic as fuck because some of you bitches take shit way to fucking seriously. They are fictional characters bro why are you sending each other death threats and doxxing one another cause you don’t support the same ship. It’s insanity.

I’m 17… can I still interact with you

Yes. There is really no difference mentally between someone who’s 17 and who’s 18. Like honestly you don’t start feeling like an adult until your mid-twenties. I’m gonna be 21 soon and I still feel like a child

The 18+ warning is essentially for those who are 16 and under.

Uncomfortable / Rude Asks

These are, in fact, different from hate asks. Typically they are the ones I receive most often in regards to uncalled for behavior. Idfk why my blog attracts the anons it does but it is what it is.

Depending on the audacity of the ask, I may or may not answer it.

Most of the time I’ll delete them after a while because it’s stupid to keep them up — but in the moment I need someone else to see it cause literally what the fuck.

Also friendly reminder. If you can’t see it, that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Appealing to ignorance… my philosophy professor would love to use y’all as a test example tbh

Hate comments / Hate Asks

Thankfully I’ve only received an itty bitty handful during my time on this blog… like not even double digits. They have been very few and very far between but essentially this is what happens:

Asks: The ask isn’t answered. I’ll block you, and since it’s likely you’d be on anon, your IP address is what ends up getting blocked opposed to your blog getting blocked.

Comments: your comment will be deleted and your blog will be blocked

If I see you in my comments fighting with another blog, you’ll be blocked as well from my page.
