Ducktales Villains update:

Scrooge doesn't go on adventures anymore, so Glomgold thinks he won and is no longer a villian.

I saw this from the deviant art account DarthDestruktor, but Big Time Beagle is the new leader of the Beagle Boys. Ma retired, in a sense.

Magica De Spell found her brother Poe with the help of Scrooge and Louie. Magica and Poe are still doing evil, but they now leave the McDuck family alone. She has also married Gladstone Gander and still has Bradford as a familiar.

As established in Beaks in the Shell, Mark Beaks is a nobody and no one cares about his company, he is still rich though. He has a daughter, Wren Beaks, who was partially raised by her grandmother, Emma Glamour. Wren is into computers and tech like her dad, but is creative and can actually build things. She also likes fashion.

Don Karnage didn't die in the crash, but he was severally injured. He lost his arm, one leg, an eye, and his snout. He has also lost his crew and airplane in The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker, so he doesn't do pirating anymore. He wants even more revenge on Dewey Duck. Don now has a grandson, Don Karnage iii, who he is training as a pirate to revenge Dewey.

Doofus Drake loss a lot of his money and all of the power over his parents because of Boyd and Louie, but after The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck, he is no longer an enemy and wants to become friends with Louie again, but Louie isn't interested. Doofus doesn't hate Boyd anymore and considers Boyd his brother. Doofus even dated Webby for a little bit before she left him. Him and Webby have a child, Doofus Jr. Doofus loves his child, even though they don't really have a close relationship.

A lot of F.O.W.L. is alive: Taurus Bulba, Steelbeak, Phantom Blot, and Pepper. Taurus Bulba is the new leader of fowl. Phantom Blot and Pepper are now married. Steelbeak is trying to get revenge on Dewey.

Timmy Jenkins isn't really an enemy, but I thought there should be more pig ocs, so Timmy is now a famous movie actor and director, since his whole thing is that he upstages Dewey. He has a niece, Taylor Jenkins.

Ducktales days. Fight at castle duck How was seeing Scrooge parents and his sister again as well as phantom blot. How Santa Stole Christmas. Getting to see why Scrooge hates Santa, this felt like classic Christmas Scrooge. Beak in the Shell. Getting to see Fenton again as well as Gandra, her turning on Fowl. Mark Beak is always fun. If you're going to make tech billionaire then Mark Beak fit perfect. So next week you watch 2 episode and the following week the three part finale?

Always glad to see more of Scrooge's family! His sister was Matilda was a great addition, I loved her sibling rivalry with Scrooge. I'm sure we all know that one person in our lives who's always trying to find their big break and never quite manages to settle on anything.

Not gonna lie though, Phantom Blot and Pepper might have been my favorite part of the episode. Their friendship was so cute! Grumpy guy and energetic girl is always a winning combination. I was actually rooting for them a little bit to win XD. Just a shame we don't get to see more of them.

I figured it was something Petty on Scrooge's end, but I didn't think it would be THAT petty. He was seriously the villain in this episode, though at least he came around in the end. Some things like hope are more important than simple material concerns, and I'm glad Scrooge was able to learn that.

Cool to see Gandra coming around to the good side! I always thought it was a bit hypocritical of her to claim to be independent when she was getting funding from villains, and I still think she was a bit hypocritical here using their resources to make her project work, but at least she tried to get out in the end. Even if it didn't quite work out...

Mark Beaks, how far you have fallen. Makes sense after all the scandals he's gone through with his villainous activities. I get the feeling this will be his last appearance, and it's a fitting send-off for him.

Yep! Just two more weeks to go, and I'll be finished with Ducktales. I'm pretty sad about it honestly. I've loved this show so much, it's gonna hurt not having anymore new episodes. I guess that's what fanfiction is for! Might try my hand at writing it myself, I have a couple ideas...

JP THEORISTS ARE ON ANOTHER LEVEL OMG-

The Dark Mirror’s Overblot markings always had me feeling suspicious because of the little horns, but the Diamond shapes are??? The exact same as Meleanor’s crown???? WHAT.

I JOKED BEFORE THAT MELEANOR’S SOUL WAS TRAPPED IN THE MIRROR ALL THE WAY BACK IN JULY AND THAT SHE WAS THE “FLOWER OF EVIL” CROWLEY WORSHIPPED BUT NOW I AM AFRAID.

I highly, HIGHLY recommend rewatching the opening prologue just for the way Crowley speaks. His voice literally shows off how much he revers his flower of evil. But notice how addresses his “flower of evil” who is the “fairest one of all,” AND the magic mirror. It’s like there’s two separate entities inside. And perhaps the hand in the prologue isn’t his, but it is Meleanor’s ungloved hand.

We never actually did see the moment of Meleanor’s death…it makes me wonder that if near/at the time of her death, someone else was there to capture her soul, or at least manipulate her magic somehow. The Dark Mirror definitely is just the spirit trapped inside the Magic Mirror from Snow White, so I wonder if the markings on his mask is a sign that someone else is trapped deeper inside the mirror…and only Crowley can call out to the second soul inside.

Although he can only see small reflections of her, she is still “alive” in the mirror, and the only way for Meleanor to have a “physical” form is through blot, just like Ortho’s soul in Book 6. It’s likely why Crowley knows so much about blot and has a very close connection with STYX in there first place- through the Watchmen, he learned how blot can create a vessel for a soul. And Crowley managed to find 7 souls that resemble the Great Seven so much, and their blot is so powerful. Ortho became a mass of the entire Underworld, but perhaps Crowley only needs 7 powerful souls with Phantoms of the Great 7. So perhaps Crowley isn’t trying to revive THE Great Seven, but he does need the Phantom’s sheer power for Meleanor to have a strong enough form.

Crowley please explain yourself I’m too tired to even yell at you rn 😭🐦‍⬛

ALRIGHT, so this is one of the biggest pieces I’ve done in a long while. I put a lot of work into this so I hope you all enjoy~

I’ve got a lot to say about this one, so read at your own leisure lol.

I think it’s worth leaving notes on my design choices for this one, so I’ll start with that.

First of all, Sebek's character is based off of lightning/thunder (obviously) and also Maleficent's crocodile minion, the latter which I incorporated more parts of (like the halberd and the pointed coattails like his croc tail). Also his phantom would be based on the croc minion character.

I originally wanted to give him more actual crocodile features, like a tail or scales or something, but it wasn't really working out the way I wanted, so I scrapped it.

Most OB’s have long, ripped clothing so I gave him more of a cloak akin to Maleficent’s, the shape of the collar specifically being the same as hers.

I added some spikes on the coat like crocodiles have down their back and tail.

I really like the leg pieces that Riddle & Leona had for their OB’s, and the weaving pattern also happens to make a zigzag lightning shape, so it fits.

I also like the OB designs that have super drippy blot on their arms.

Some things are just copied from his dorm uniform, like the waistband and belts, and the shoulder armour (not the spools of thread though...).

The left shoulder armour doesn't exist in the normal dorm uniform. OB Sebek has one made of blot because Sebek's biggest insecurity is that he's incomplete and will never be good enough due to being half-blood and he wants to be whole T^T

Lightning-shaped blot markings on his face of course. Mostly I just tried to make something that didn't look ugly...

Lastly, I wanted to make his hair messier, but it would end up covering his beautiful face so I let it remain swept back - 3- (aka I couldn’t make it look nice).

So in terms of why Sebek might OB... he clearly has an intense, unresolved internal hatred for his human blood, due to the environment he grew up in. And the way he copes with these emotions is by taking it out on the people around him. It just seems like with the intensity of these feelings, if he were to keep it internalized, it would completely destroy him from the inside. And he just has NOT had the chance or know-how to learn to accept himself and therefore others. So of course, this is something he needs to work on but he definitely cannot do it alone. I think something traumatic does need to happen for him to realize and learn from his ways honestly. In terms of the canon, this will probably be due to Malleus' overblot or whatever shenanigans will happen in Book 7.... but Sebek himself overblotting would do just as well.

I think this fic does a really good job with building up Sebek's OB and his mindset throughout it all getting worse and worse... --> READ HERE It’s still in progress at the moment of posting but the after-blot plot is really wholesome too for us Sebek fans. EVEN IF you are not one you should still give it a read. (Just for full disclosure, my OB design is not based on the one described in this fic.)

So anyway you and your companions called him out on his obsession of following the rules.

The next part was him overblotting and many residents shouted and chaos occurred there.

He wasn't letting you off that easy though.

By his behavior, hell would break loose the moment he did catch up to you. It doesn't matter how, Riddle can and he will always, always have you. How far are you? Maybe he'll allow it at first. Feigning ignorance that he can't pinpoint your spot. And when you least think it? He'll shred every puny hope you had to leave his dormitory.

He'll ridicule you with his laugh when your round eyes welled with tears because his grip bruised on you. Your pain could not compare to his.

What good is Ace? Stop defending him!! You only need him! He would have spared you from these heartaches if you had listened to him..

Troublemakers must be disciplined.

In his madness, at the back of his head, he's aware that this wasn't logical, putting his frustrations on someone he admires was dogmatic. Though he can't focus on anything, he was filled with so much pessimism and anger.

You can squirm, yet his puissance and the phantom that loomed behind him would use its hand to clutch you, not too aggressive since Riddle wasn't going to eradicate you by that.

As they said, death was the most merciful choice at times, and oh how could he ever harm a naive little thing like you for his sick mind?

The housewarden wasn't that immoral.

A malign smile was on him, his face inches to you as if to register your terror he had done.

“..Are you going to cry? Does it hurt?”

The dorm leader whispered, it was near genuine, as if he wasn't wreaking havoc in Heartslabyul.

Don't you fall for this act of his, it's not kindness that he will show you, it's cruelty. He finds entertainment in the way you despaired, or that you think you can skip yourself out of the plight.

However to that question...

“It IS supposed to be a sanction. You are adorable in this state. You're beautiful.”

In fact, he was giddy to be the cause of your misery. You deserved it for siding with your friends. And he'll make sure you will be getting the bitterness of what humiliation would be.

Your answer won't be improving the situation T_T as he was not hearing you out.

He has been looking after you from the beginning up to today, so forgive him for being rough in his treatment with you, if it were the usual him, you may have a chance to reason or talk him out of whatever it was he needed.

You doubt you can do that currently.

His scarlet eyes scared you. Unstable breathing of yours spurred him to be inquisitive, and his fingers covered with substances you can't name placed underneath your jaw, the ink was sloughing your body and clothing you had.

If you were the others, you wouldn't be this fortunate, you should've thanked him.

Wave goodbye to your liberty because he was dragging you to where you had no clue of.

Black smudged on your hair, nape, wrists, pants, it's implied that you were his. No one should lay gaze on that which belongs to him! He was the queen, and your job was to be a tender darling.

A constricted emotion stirred inside him, he wondered how you would scream beneath him.

It was unbecoming for a dorm leader to be unsavory and having the dirtiest thoughts.

The restraint he had was diminishing because his desires were overwhelming to suppress.

Would you curse? Or would you beg to him?

You were babbling incorrectly for him to come to his senses. The red head was unfazed by that.

You were like an art for him.

Fantasizing about the distorted picture with him discarding you from your apparel.

Should he or shouldn't he?

There was no savior or knights coming for you.

He could have indulged himself, and you wouldn't be able to push him away either.

It was in the labyrinth that he took you to, away from civilization, away from any people.

Riddle almost wished that he could blemish onto your complexion with his affections, markings will fade, much to his displeasure.

That's fine.

He can imbed carvings. Later. Some scars can be interred into memories, don't they, hm?

His lips grazed your neck, the blot can disappear, his feelings on the other hand won't.

he's not certain. but then again, there isn't much he's certain of anymore. for instance, hadn't this fae been smaller? when had he towered over silver—

(but hadn't that always been so? his father, demure in stature only and grandiose in all else, had always eclipsed his vision, the strength in his slight shoulders bearing the weight of silver's entire hearthstone and world.)

or was it silver who was shrinking instead, falling to his knees and then ungracefully onto his face in a slick, greedy puddle of blot. in the far-off distance just above his head, he can hear the fae's ragged breathing and can hear the metallic tremble of the sword now captive in those familiar fingers, a testament to the battle he had won in spite of the knight's relentless urge rocketing him forward and ever onwards to protect.

(what had he been protecting again? he can't remember, and yet something within him weeps bitterly at having forgotten.)

it feels like love, binding his limbs to the cold stone floor. it feels like love, as he gazes up at such a distraught face and dimly thinks that such noble features should never be arranged in a keen expression of despair. it feels like love, as he lays there, obedient and still, and awaits for the sword to swing with a kindness and meet its mark.

DuckTales THEORY: Team Who?

Hello Duckblr! We know that in DuckTales 2017, Huey, Dewey and Webby have their own definite cliques, but what if this idea were to extend to each of the six Duck children in hypothetical future seasons?

TLDR: If DuckTales kept going on, we would have seen more Louie/Doofus/Goldie episodes. May's interrogative side can blend her in with the Rescue Rangers.

Team Science (Huey)

Huey's group of allies usually revolves around working on scientific breakthroughs and his hero, Gizmoduck. Huey stories would usually involve these specific characters:

Gyro Gearloose

Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (Gizmoduck)

Manny

BOYD

Gandra Dee

Huey's enemy is usually Mark Beaks, a businessman who makes his living off dumb and/or stolen ideas, which is totally against his moral code. If executed better, Dr. Akita could make a better contender.

Team Action (Dewey)

Dewey's group of allies usually revolves around getting into dangerous situations, definitely not due to the influence of Launchpad or his very own mother, Della. Dewey stories would usually involve these specific protagonists:

Launchpad McQuack

Della Duck

Drake Mallard (DW)

Gosalyn Waddlemeyer (an extension of DW)

Kit and Molly

Dewey's enemy is usually Don Karnage, a deranged air pilot who will go to any lengths to gain vengeance on him. Falcon Graves has also appeared in Dewey stories, a serious contender for his showboating.

Team Scheme (Louie)

Despite being shown to be a charmer in the show, Louie falls flat when it comes to making secure friends, especially when it's in his nature that he is the 'evil triplet' of the Duck boys. However, the cunning antihero, Goldie O'Gilt is quite fond of him. Louie stories would definitely involve these specific characters:

Goldie O'Gilt

Doofus Drake

Ottoman Brothers (placeholder because they're always in the background of Louie stories)

Although Louie completely destroyed Glomgold in S2, I'd love to see Rockerduck as his enemy, as the Wild West Swindler has a more interesting way to battle - with his words, instead of his fists.

Team Magic (Webby/April)

Webby's group of allies usually revolves around trying to fix the curses laid out from Scrooge's adventures, or his most powerful enemy, Magica De Spell. Webby stories would usually involve these specific characters:

Lena Sabrewing

Violet Sabrewing

Blackarts Beagle (redemption arc??)

Phantom Blot and Pepper (maybe they're forced to team-up??)

Morgana (placeholder because they don't have a grown-up hero)

Webby and Lena's enemy is usually Magica De Spell, a witch who wants to use her powers to abuse and take advantage of others, completely opposite to how Webby wants to play.

Team Mystery (May)

Despite the wishes of her current guardian, Donald Duck, I could see May get into contact with her ilk, also experimented on by FOWL - no other than the Rescue Rangers themselves!

Chip and Dale

Gadget Hackwrench

Monterey Jack

Zipper

...and maybe Detective Gokart from the comics (a loser that May could help to become a better person)

Perhaps the Rescue Rangers have found a larger FOWL experiment gone rogue and they need a heroine around their size to help bring the experiment to justice.

Team ??? (June)

Team Sports? Team Wellbeing? Team Theatre? Team Adorable? It seems that poor June is the only one I can't think of for a team.

By process of elimination, the only frequent group of protagonists without a child character to support them are the gods/goddesses of Ithaquack.

Bum Bum Ghigno, an everyday person from the comics might help her appreciate the normal and might draw parallels between the clone twins and his relationship with his brother.

I'd love to put the Idle Hour Club from Donald's first ever cartoon somewhere, but those stories wouldn't be fun.

Leona Info Compilation part 29: Leona and Vil (pt 2)

While often bickering, Leona and Vil are of the same opinion just as often, during Phantom Bride, Book 2 and the Wish Upon a Star event.

Rook waxes poetic about Vil and Leona dancing and singing together for the VDC and Leona refuses on the grounds of “that nag Vil” being there.

Leona is also displeased by Vil’s participation in Fairy Gala.

But despite Leona’s supposed dislike for Vil, we see him following Vil’s orders to the point of walking around the Pomefiore ballroom with vases of water and his head and shoulders that drench him every time they drop.

Vil explains that he is happy to refill the vases when they run out of water and that his penalty for spilling is an hour-long air chair exercise.

Leona seems to perform Vil’s tasks as is asked of him, to the point that Vil even awards him “full marks.”

When Vil asks Leona why he seems like “a different person from the clumsy oaf�� he was, Leona explains he got so sick of Vil ordering him around that he decided to get it over with.

An exasperated Vil responds, “So you CAN give an earnest effort, but only when it makes your life easier. Your indolence never ceases to amaze me” (conceding to Vil’s tutelage for the reason that will annoy Vil most).

Despite Leona’s reputation at the school he has no qualms about following Vil’s orders (and Riddle’s) throughout Book 6.

Similar to Phantom Bride they again find they are of the same opinion against Idia in Book 6, with Leona expressing an interest in turning Idia’s hair to sand and Vil saying, “For once we agree on something.”

Soon after, however, he scolds Leona for napping and throwing off his sleep schedule.

When Leona retires from Ortho’s games Jamil says, “Looks like we put him in a foul mood” and Vil explains, “That’s how he is always is.”

Otherwise they get along companionably during Book 6, with Vil agreeing with the incentive Leona proposes that “the first person to reach the Underworld gate gets to beat up (Idia).”

They also share a delightful interaction at the end of the story when Leona leaves what remains of over-blotted Idia to Vil’s team.

When putting Jamil’s abilities into perspective for him, Leona even compliments Vil’s strength by ranking Vil alongside himself.

According to Vil, his participation in Fairy Gala IF is a favor he does for Leona.

We saw the phantom idea with the step-brother Idia

Consider, Overbloted Azul, having his blot phantom pin you down for him, just so that way he can use his limbs more for pleasuring and not having to worry as much about restraining since the phantom does it for him.

You had a small post about overblotted Azul before, but personally I think we should expand on that. Let the tako go feral I think about getting railed by OB!Azul the normal amount

Imagine the twins overblotting.... the things they would do, using the phantoms to keep everyone away so they could have you all to themselves. Forcing everyone to watch you fall apart from a distance, while trying to not be torn to shreds from the phantoms tweel overblot is a new obsession..

Omg yes!!! I also think about Overblot!Azul a very normal amount. orz he's so fine when he's unhinged!!! The phantom keeping you restrained is so <3 and all the while Azul gets to use more of his tentacles on you!!! Truly a win-win for him. And the twins overblotting!!!!! They're even more terrifying and strong. And so emotionally vulnerable! You'll see such a haunting side to the both of them as they make a mess out of you, sharp, deadly claws shredding your clothes so that they can prove to you and every other onlooker that you'll always belong to them no matter what. It's pointless to turn to others for help; no one can save you when you're wrapped up in the constrictive coils of two predatory morays.

Overblot Fire, Souls, and Curses Manifesting

A mini theory here, but I think I finally realized what the fire on an Overblotters eyes are.

It’s their soul

Starting off a little dramatic haha. Book 6 is an absolute goldmine for piecing together the mysteries of Overblot, and I just realized the significance of this line: A “curse manifesting” tends to shape itself with fire. Of course, not in all cases. But the Shroud family and Grim all have fire related to a curse- which is technically a curse on their souls.

And notice the location of the flames on Ortho’s chest: it’s exactly where his heart would be. At the end of Book 6, Human!Ortho’s soul merges with Robot!Ortho’s AI, but it’s also referred to as a “heart.”

An further evidence for the flames is a bit of a funny one, but each character has their own candy for Groovies. And Ortho’s candy is called Soul Candy…in the shape of a flame.

Well, what does this have to do with the Overblot fires on the EYES?

Overblot is the culmination of the magic users darkest emotions finally revealing their true form. And eyes are the window to the soul, aren’t they? The soul is typically represented by a heart due to its connection with emotions, but the soul is “viewed” through the eyes. Something that may back up this theory are the Blot Phantoms. They have no heads, because they aren’t beings with souls- they’re just a manifestation of dark emotions.

Edit: I want to add that the Dark Mirror can see the color and shape of each student’s soul, and lo and behold, each overblotter has a unique color and shape to their Fire mark
