Instead of a probably crappy horror flick we should use this Steamboat Willie situation(and Oswald also public domain since 2023) to create a metatext postmodern sequel to the underrated classic adventure game of Epic Mickey-uh I mean *a new made up name*.
And want to further cover yourself? Make it a commentary of modern disney or something.
I'm not really a fan of Evil Oswald AUS but eh i guess an idea ive been bouncing around is like, what if Oswald didnt back out on his whole "use the rocket to take Mickey's heart and leave the Wasteland" plan at the last minute and actually DID kill Mickey and Mickey's entire life his friends his job his namesake was all passed to Oswald as a result of owning Mickey's Heart...
so oswalds just kind of pretending to know what's going on but the reality is he just sort of murdered his brother and erased him from existence and took his life. and has to carry that memory and guilt. Forever Lol. Also Mickey is a snarky ghost that follow him around
So I learned this from Twitter and DidYouKnowGaming, but apparently there were plans for an Epic Donald game that would have similar gameplay as Epic Mickey, but would have been based on the Carl Bark's Disney duck comics and the Ducktales show with each level being a different adventure.
Apparently Magica, Gyro Gearloose, the Beagle Boys, Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Scrooge would have been major characters.
But after Disney Interactive got scrapped and Disney started licensing games instead of making them... the idea got scrapped too.
