So like can we all collectively agree that Donald doesn't have to be called dad to be an important figure in the kids (yes kids, not just the triplets.This man adopted everyone) lives.

Like don't get me wrong I'm a sucker for a good all the kids call him dad fic, but I feel like he wouldn't want that.

Specifically because as far as we know he (and Della) were raised by their Uncle Scrooge. The title of Uncle really means something to Donald.

So, I saw a post about how May and June couldn't get the papyrus because they were clones of Webby and not Scrooge.

I have my own take on that.

Rightful heir.

I'm sure Bradford took that literally, that's why he made Webby in first place. But, Scrooge said rightful heir, so, who could be a rightful heir?

Some weird kids he never interacted before.

OR

Some adventurous kids who are…

May and June never had a chance. It wouldn't matter from whom they were cloned. Scrooge didn't knew about they, they'll never be the rightful heir.

Webby became someone worth of the name McDuck. She earned it.

Basically, without this…

My version of the Duckverse kiddos

All the kids here are 16

In this version of mine, Webby and her sisters are not clones of Scrooge but rather they are in the place of April, May and June and are Daisy's neices, which also make Beakley Daisy's mom as she is still their grandmother

I'm still not shipping them with HDL cuz Daisy is married to Donald in this, which makes them related by law

For the boys, most is the same, only that Della vanished through no fault of her own, along with the boys' father. They both return eventually and both are in their lives. Donald does still raise the boys and gives the names Della wanted as middle names

(the boys' father has red hair so thats why Dewey has a patch of red)
