Is the paper Narinder is thinking about the same one he read in a previous comic? The red pages from the comic where he lets Lambert borrow his robes for their errands? Is it a spoiler to ask what the pages say??? (Very good comic by the way!! The colors are gorgeous and the blend of serious, gore, silly, and fluff is such *chef's kiss*. Your talent for story telling is so admirable!!)
YEP! It's connected to that comic. He's still thinking about it.
As for what the pages say; it's having to do with the lore pages in game. But the journal he almost read is Trod-specific. (Also thank you sldkhglksdhklsdgh I feel like my art went haywire in style for the comic out of energy vs no energy)

That 27 year old guy over there works a job he is overqualified for, he lives with his parents and wants to move out but doesn't know what to do about it. That one 24 year old dude already has a car, a house, and a job waiting for him once he graduates thanks to his dad's connections. The 26 year old barista couldn't complete his higher education because he has to work and take care of his family.
