I was cleaning through some papers and found nearly finished panels of a comic I was working on many months ago back when I drew primarily with traditional ink ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ I’d like to finish this one day…

Wild Rose Castle.

Malleus never thought this is what would lead him to visit his mother’s castle.

But where else would he go?

He was…tired.

Maybe it was poetic for him to return here.

Here where his mother’s castle lay broken and decrepit.

Overgrown thorny vines climbing the walls, thorns as sharp as the ones in his garden…

…he has always loved ruins, hasn’t he?

It is only natural he would come here.

To rest, finally rest.

He…was tired of being a prince.

He just wanted to be himself.

What better place than here?

Here where his mother lay, and here where he should have stayed, with her.

She had said she wanted to take a nap with him, didn’t she?

So be it.

Let sleep befall him, let it be so he can return to her.

In her arms.

Once again.

At least in his dreams.

He can rest.

'The egg needs to be born from true love'

Contains spoilers to Book 7 in Twisted Wonderland

Exactly. Born.

Being born is like being hatched, not being in the egg or created. Being born is being released to the outside world, not being protected from it by a shell or skin (in humans case).

What I mean to say is, does an egg not have to be made from true love?

Sure, Meleanor and Levan did loved each other, but when they both were gone, the egg was starting to slowly die.

It's not about the creation of him, it's about the lack of love.

The love that managed to make Malleus hatch was Lilia's true love.

It wasn't the eggs parents love, but it was love strong enough to make it hatch.

So that makes me wonder, does creating an egg need true love? Or does the hatching need it and you can create one without it?

Since keeping it alive is so very hard, that one could call it impossible without true love. Since we've seen how hard it was even for Maleficia to keep Malleus alive.

But if you only could do it with true love, would the Senate really keep on insisting on marrying Draconias off to others to make connections?

If they couldn't make an egg, the Draconias would be extinct, right? The heir was also their priority, since they rather disliked Meleanor for her actions towards them.

But if theoretically love is needed only for hatching and not creating it, could it be that a mother's love for their child would be enough make them hatch?

Of course it would have to be love storing enough for a child to hatch, but that's not impossible, is it?

Without true love to a partner, could Meleanor make Malleus hatch, if he were to be a son of some random royalty? Could she do it with a mathernal love?

Since dragons are very passionate, a mother even if hated the father, would still take the best of care for her child.

But can one person's love, be strong enough hatch an egg? Yes. Lilia did it. Did it, with Malleus.

It wasn't Malleus's parents nor his relatives, but a true and honest love that made him hatch.

Looking at the blood-relations he was a complete stranger and yet, the only thing needed was love.

Love from one person.

Love strong enough. A mother's love for their child is unconditional, so that surely should be enough?

If one person, a complete stranger can make a child hatch, then why can't his mother?

So my interpretation of it is that the egg doesn't have to be created with love, but needs to be hatched with one.

Fae's wouldn't throw themselves at each other to make children they can't hatch, so they were doing it only with the loved ones.

To be sure that the child could survive with the love it would get, no matter what could happen to one of the parents, they still would have the other one to look after the egg.

But even with both parents gone, the child still can hatch with love. It doesn't even have to be their parents' affection.

That's why the Senate wasn't afraid of the end of the Draconias bloodline, they eventually knew that, no matter how prideful Meleanor is, she would make her child hatch. No matter the cost.

Just as she sacrificed herself for Malleus when he was in egg, was a statement at how much she loved her child. She would do it over and over again if needed, her love would surely be enough. Even without Levan.

And the fact that Maleficia also used magic instead of love to keep Malleus alive for as long as possible.

So, keeping the egg alive haven't needed love (even tho it was slowly dying), but could hold on themselves for a while with only magic.

It's one of my late night rambles so don't take it too seriously. It was only my what if, since the Senate wouldn't let Draconias die this easily. Besides it's only what if, I hope it hasn't hurt anyone or hasn't made anyone enraged.

I know some of you waiting for my blot theory part 2 but i still trying to think through this theory to even get the whole question and evidence that did make me question it in the first place. So before that help yourself with this new theory that i just found out accidentally

Now i found the recent meleanor pic having different face that spread around twitter. While i found some of this very fit in character, there's one that make me question about something and remember about one theory that once spread in here.

What kind of theory you said?

It's still about crowley is levan theory but this include Pomefiore in the theory. I forgot what the name is but the main conclusion of it is

Crowley see meleanor in Vil

You may ask, why suddenly i remember this? Well look at this meleanor pic

This one is the expression that make me question if the theory is actually true or not. Malleus smug face isn't very similar

You can see that his smug face didn't really look like her

"BUT HIS EYEBROWS ISN'T THE SAME AS MELEANOR WHEN HE SHOW HIS SMUG FACE!"

My point here is that despite they look the same when they have other expressions, they have different expressions here.

And who also have the same look with meleanor when they smug? VIL

If you look here they genuine look the same. This make me thinking that theory of crowley/levan sees meleanor inside Vil is true.

I forgot all the points of the theory but the theory is around how Crowley for some reason show very favoritism with pome, purpose or not purpose and how he like watching Vil more than others despite the others higher social statues.

The very known one when Crowley have connections with pome is when we see him in the last second of twst op, we see him sitting in a peacock throne, and whose dorm that have peacock dorm? Pomefiore

There's also Vil's line that he feel that someone's is looking at him, and this line only played when they have special lesson a.k.a lesson where Crowley flying in the class. There's also a compared theme of pome dorm and the theme we got in ch 7 that feel very similar but not at the same time, which make you question if this is on purpose or not, but at the same time i can't help to think there's foreshadowing here.

Knowing that we did not known anything of Crowley beside him being useless headmaster, make this fairly suspicious as well. Even if he actually a fae or half-fae we don't know, but he always as if very bold on showing his pome favoritism.

Also both Vil and Mal surprisingly have a lot of hidden detail similarity that everyone didn't realize. Both of them um is around "blessing" and "curse" and if you remember what Vil said in ch 6, both blessing and curse is one of the same coin, just how you use it or how you interpret it can change it, like for example immortality. You can see immortality as blessing and curse, just how you interpret it can change how it viewed(whether you happy to live long or angry because you will see everyone you love die before you. It's a matter of perspectives).

Both of them are one of the dorm that show their dorm throne openly even in game(riddle have it but he never show it in game, only in manga(idk the novel))

Both of them is feared and avoided for reason(Vil still have his supermodel status so he got people flocking, but if not he can be very well secluded from others from what we heard when we heard about how Vil and Rook meet)

Both of their gems stone have red dot in it when it was their time to overblot, unlike others if you see here.

Vil's and mal's gem stone:

It show that unlike others, theirs may actually hurting in different way. It can be also because both of them having "blessing" and "curse" um unlike others. At the same time knowing that Malleus has "blessing" while Vil have "curse" may also foreshadowing Vil's being important in future.

The foreshadowing here may relate to none other than meleanor. Either he will help Malleus to get Meleanor back(if the dark mirror is Meleanor theory is true) or he will need curse or blessing to help Meleanor back, for example-

-using his own body to put Meleanor back

I have seen this one idea where Crowley used Vil's body to put grimhilde's soul in Vil's body. What if Crowley have some similar idea but with meleanor? He will put curse or blessing on Vil so Meleanor soul can go back to the world, or Malleus using his magic to save Vil from Crowley or Meleanor soul that was called upon.

Or while this can be very.....bs to you guys, but what if this is like those isekai theme where you reincarnated as someone and remember your past self because of something? But it's the type that reincarnated from his past self that are in the same world, so you died in XXX9 for example and reincarnated in X1X9 but still in the same world. What if Crowley think Meleanor reincarnated as Vil and he tried to do everything to make him remember as Meleanor? And maybe the reason he can't remember is because of a curse or something?

And some of you may also asked about lilia. I have a feeling he know and realized that Vil also look like Meleanor, but maybe unlike Crowley/Levan, he only think that Vil just look like her as coincidence. Lilia is the one who can go to Vil nore often than Crowley/Levan without needing any reason and he never do anything. Either he only have speculation or he only see Vil as Meleanor look alike(meaning he only see Vil just have similar look like Meleanor, like those there's 7 people that look the same thing)

While it didn't talked often before, after ch 5 we got a lot of talking about "blessing" and "curse" to make this coincidental. It's as if they tried to foreshadow that in the end, we will get to unfold about a curse and blessing that surround the main cast or even the world itself before "Yuu" can go back(maybe they also got cursed so they can't go back if they didn’t help the main cast first).

I love how Meleanor's dragon form can serve as little hints about how Malleus grew up as a dragon🥹💚🐉🦎

Comparing the frills on their cheeks... it seems like their frills grows with age and gets lighter and more connected to their eyes, it seems to get more purple skin/highlights as well.

In contrast to Meleanor's adult dragon form with hard scales, Little Malleus seem to have softer skin/scales, so i think their hard scales develop over time too. Also their snout gets more patterned too.

The spikes on their backs seems to separate as they get larger. Looking at Little Malleus, he has spikes that are close to each other yet on Meleanor's spikes, they're kind of sectioned in her head, torso, and her tail.

Their horns grows darker as it gets taller. Its noticeable on the horns of their head and on the wings.

Their horns also get more ridges over their development! Since Baby Malleus has smooth horns but now in Malleus' grown up form and Meleanor's, its more textured.

I think their horns are purple at the start then starts to get dark green??? Both Meleanor and Malleus' horns in card art always have green highlights after all.

I wonder if they're more green-colored in their human form bcs it symbolizes their empathy and how they're more humane and how connected to nature they are, but when they're in their dragon form, that green-color is reserved only in their internal organs (eyes and mouth), so "they shut their kindness off".

As a result, their form is mostly dark purple on their dragon form, the color of (evil?) void magic. So, its like when theyre in their dragon form, they're encasing their empathy inside to showcase how cruel/sinister they actually are, it could also convey that in their dragon form, they're not channelling their "fae magic" but their controlled power over "darkness/evil/hell"

Malleus after all said, he's the ruler of those who follow the darkness, Meleanor is the evil princess, and Maleficent has all the powers of hell.

Also I realized Meleanor (based on the Battle pic), might be as big as a entire castle and that's just her at ~300 years old... She looks like she could wrap her own castle with just her dragon form lol.. So I'm really curious at how massive Malleus dragon form is... Maybe its Ramshackle size for now since he's just 178 years old so might not be a dragon at a size of an entire castle yet-

These are just my thoughts after staring at Meleanor for so long kwhkdhsk also bcs I want more Baby Malleus content,,,, It's what Meleanor would've wished😔😔 especially the time where he first transformed into a human🥺💕💝 I think it'll be precious to see Baby Malleus clutching to Lilia for dear life because he can't balance on two human legs jdkdhlssj🥹🥹💝💖💖 Imagine Lilia's surprise seeing Meleanor's horns on their kid as soon as Malleus transformed to a human,,, 🥹🥹🥹 Levan, where are your genes...
