He leaned against your desk, showing off his final test grades.

“Nice one, Oikawa-kun,” you say, staring at the paper in front of you. You could’ve said ‘nice try’ or ‘not bad’ just to spite him, but maybe if you tried to be nice to him once, he’d finally leave you alone. He flips his hair, before bending down to your seat.

“It’s okay, y/n. Don’t be too upset. Not everyone can get high scores. If you need a tutor,” he points to himself, “I’m right here.” You felt a strong urge to wipe that smug look from his face so you smile and slip out your test grades, slapping the paper on the desk. Yours exceeded his. And you could see the grin on his face falter, like it always does when he realizes he’s lost the battle.

“You should come watch me play, y/n. You know, I’m the captain of the volleyball team,” he once asked because that was one area he was confident with. Wanting to know the hype behind this Volleyball captain, you decided to go.

That was probably the reason you started dating.

You saw the passion he had when he played volleyball. The fire in his eyes whenever he watches the ball fly precisely in the air.

Something about it inspired you.

So when you finally complimented him on it, he suddenly felt an unfamiliar emotion in his chest and warmth in his cheeks. The setter who is usually smooth-talking, found himself flustered for the first time.

From then, he’d seek ways to make you compliment him again. You could say that you charmed him instead. And even after you started dating, there is still a subtle rivalry. Like when you’re racing each other during a mile run, or reaching the school’s cafe first, even on test grades. Students would be running on the track like: “there they go again”.

Some would call it a special type of love language between you two. One minute you’re challenging each other, and the next you’re hugging and giggling in each other’s arms. Usually you win, but one thing you could never win against him in is volleyball. But that’s fine cuz you won each other’s hearts at the end.

a girl approached him with a letter in her hand, her cheeks flushed and eyes gazing down at her shoes.

you made it in time to see the girl stutter in her words as she hands the closed envelope to him.

“Toshi,” you say the nickname you had for him loud and clear. And Ushijima turns around with a panicked look on his face.

The girl jumps hearing your voice.

“Have you been waiting long?” you lean up and place a kiss on his cheek, making the girl’s jaw drop.

Your boyfriend mumbles a no, feeling more relaxed by your presence. You wondered if the girl was bothering him. He was not the best at receiving compliments, or much less confessions. You knew this based on your experience.

Her eyes flicker between you both, mouth still agape. “Wait. You two are dating? You two?!” You turn to the girl as if you’ve just noticed her presence. She was smiling which surprises you.

Before you could answer, Ushijima takes your hand in his and responds. “Yes. We are.” Your eyes flicker back to him in awe.

“Oh!” the girl places a hand on her chest, bending over, feeling relief. “Finally!”

“Wait what,” you deadpan. Ushijima still clutches your hand, standing next to you.

“I’m glad it was you, y/n.” The girl smiles again. Why is she smiling? Shouldn’t she be heartbroken? Crushed?

“What’s that supposed to mean?” You squeeze Ushijima’s hand a little tight, making him cough into his other hand and you loosen your hold.

“Oh! Don’t you know people have been shipping you guys? There’s a fanclub for it!” The girl takes out a card from the envelope she was holding. “Here’s our socials!”

Ushijima remains silent, checking his watch as if he’s getting bored.

“What?!” you exclaim. “Why? How? When?”

“I know you have a lot of questions, y/n. We’ll answer them all if you join our groupchat. Okay, bye!” she squeaks before leaving you both in the empty hallway.

You turn to Ushijima who yawns. “Ready to go, y/n?” he asks mid-yawn.

“Toshi, did you not hear what she just said?” you ask your boyfriend.

“Oh, I already knew.” He leans against the lockers.

“You knew?!” Unbelievable.

“Tendou told me about them, but I just ignored them.”

“And Tendou knew as well?!”

“He claims to be an active member of the club,” Ushijima sighs, shaking his head in disapproval.

“Tendou?!” your head spins from the amount of crazy information being thrown at you. “Why didn’t you tell me any of this?”

“Well,” he starts, taking both of your hands and intertwining your fingers. “I wanted us to find our way together. Without any outside help.”

His words remove any anger brewing inside you and you bring his fingers to your lips to kiss them.

Ushijima has always been a rational type of guy. He means every word he says, so it’s easy to trust him. “Alright, Toshi,” you say, taking his hands and striding down the halls. “We’re gonna go have a talk with Tendou.”

ooo that’s actually a good question .. when i read it tho my mind automatically went iwaizumi but like oikawa comes in second? i actually use to be a writer on here but i don’t write anymore. i wrote about those two as dads and it melts my heart. i still have a lot of ideas running for them but i think I’ll keep those on my phone haha. but back to those two as dads. they just seem like they would cherish their kids so much and put them first. they would move the sky and earth for them not to see them in pain (as well as you) ofccc matsuhana are the same, but they are more like the cool uncles tho. they aren’t parents .. they are the “fuck them kids” type 😂😭

as for why i relate to makki? well obvs post time skip he’s inbetween jobs so when unemployed he has free time on his hands and i feel like that. i have a job but it’s kinda shit pay and not many hours given so basically I feel unemployed. he’s also this smug looking, sarcastic guy and that’s me as hell. well I don’t look condescending but i do have the look of uninterested etched on my face at times. i feel like he’s a carefree, goof ball overall and sameeee.

Lukawa (Luna x Oikawa)

I enjoy the view every morning and I love peppering his sleeping face with light feathered kisses (or vice versa) - he'll smile in his sleep. Then the morning cuddle session will be interrupted by our alarm.

During the weekend I insist on following his morning jog. I love sports but still, our stamina is incomparable (of course!) 🥲 I asked him to leave me for another round but he won't and followed my pace instead.

Being dramatic is part of his life I guess. He's really talkative about his games and his teammates - already knew all of his friends' embarrassing stories before I met them. He's also a good listener when it comes to my research.

During the reunion, I bully him together with Iwa and the boys. Because at home he always bullies me (affectionately or not) - such a tease and this is my only chance.

Lumiya (Luna x Miya Atsumu)

Clingy baby, I have to slap off his butt so he can wake up from bed. Sometimes I put up the ringtone of his mother calling his name so he can wake up immediately :) p.s. he will complain if he doesn't get his morning kisses.

Loves to gush over his gaming skill (although he's worse than Osamu) when we play at his family's house. Samu will stop him from rubbing off my bad gaming skill on my face "stop she looks like she's about to cry". yeah, this jerk (affectionately) will finally stop and have a duty to pamper me afterward (but he always pampers me so don't worry).

Really good at sending thirst traps - you don't even know where did he learn about it. He posts some of them on social media but I have no arguments bcs he sent me so much more (not that I hate it tho).

Lukaashi (Luna x Akaashi)

King of deep talk. We can spend the whole night talking about random and mundane things to philosophical thoughts. He's the best partner to exchange ideas without any heated argument.

We have a tradition to make morning coffee for him and tea for me (bcs I can't stand caffeine). But he started to fond of tea and we love to try different kinds of flavors every week.

He thinks too much, but all I have to do is caress his forehead or give him a peck on his nose so I can interrupt his messy thoughts. We both learn to have healthy communication because we are the overthinkers type.

ok. finally the day of the week has arrived, where kageyama finally wants to pull the ball down and take you out lol. you’re all excited because kags tells you it’s a surprise. where does he end up taking you ?? to watch a volleyball game 😃😃 don’t get me wrong, you love to support him and the other love in his life. but sometimes you want him to spend time doing other things. “i’m overdressed. you couldn’t have warned me?” “i didn’t say it was somewhere fancy.” aha ha haa okayyyy 😀. you two sit together in the stands and kageyama is so invested in the game and doesn’t seem to notice someone tap your shoulder. “hi! i saw your phone case. i love that movie!” “same! i’ve been wanting to watch the second part.” the guy smiles and says “me too! a lot of my friends think it’s gonna suck tho.” and you two engage in a convo about the movie. little do you know kags has been listening in and seething oof. “maybe you could give me your number and we could go watch it sometime?” he’s slightly blushing which pisses kageyama off even more. kags turns to the both of you, “they’re with me. get lost.” and you’re like 😨😨 before you even say anything he pulls you up out of the stands and out of the area. “are you bored, y/n?” “what? no!” “then who’s the movie nerd?” “i have no idea he just started talking to me.” kags is salty and sulking and decides he should be the one taking you to go watch the movie. and he does. as your waiting in line, his arms around your waist might feel a little tighter than usual. kageyama just can’t help falling for the look in your eyes as you excitedly talk about the movie. and he is not planning on sharing that, with anyone 💗

kenma

is disgusted. kenma is like🧍🏼‍♂️but mentally strangling them. he’s totally the type to do those super smash bro tournaments. he usually brings you along for support and just to spend even more time with you. the tournament is popping that day. “hey ken! you ready bro?” “yeah.” a bunch of these gamers know kenma. he’s like royalty and everyone pulls up to watch him play. you let him get situated and start looking around. “listen their hot. i always play as them.” you listen in the conversation since you have nothing better to do sjsgsjsk. “nah that one is hot.” the other guy in the conversation points to a character from the game. “shit you right. kinda looks like kenma’s s/o.” all the simps look between you and the character poster. literally ogling at this point. “hey you’re y/n right?” some random guy with a pikachu shirt asks. “you wanna come play with me?” before you can answer kenma drags you to his area and places you on his lap. everyone looks over at you which causes you to feel uncomfortable. “b-baby. this is kind of embarrassing.” “i was cold.” kenma pouts and places his chin in the crook of your neck. before it gets even more embarrassing, he lets you go and grabs a chair to have you sit next to him. as kenma hands you the player 2 remote, he inches closer to give you a peck. you’re surprised at his boldness. “stay here with me.” all the gamers are bit embarrassed and leave you two alone. this causes kenny boy to be more protective when he takes you to his tournaments 💖

oikawa

oikawa is sulking. but will not show it to the person flirting with you. doesn’t wanna show any weaknesses aka you being one of them. i see him as a bit insecure that you’d leave him for someone else. so, if you’re giving someone too much attention he gets like this lol. “y/n-chan~” but you’re not paying attention still talking to the stranger. “y/n. y/n!! baby~” oikawa is now walking towards you two because fam you may need 🦻 because ?? “ah there you are my love~ who’s this?” oikawa makes sure he wraps his arm around your waist. “we actually just met! they’re a fan of the team.” “oh? are you a fan of my s/o as well?” yikes awkward ... “because if you are that’s totally normal. we’re kinda the star couple around here.” he’s physically smiling but his eyes show something else. “u-uh no no. i was just-“ “if you really were a fan, you’d know they’re mine. unless, you lack common sense.” oikawa’s words get more vicious and this person is getting spooked and just speeds off lol. once they’re gone, “hmph. you’re mean.” oikawa is pouting, shoulders slumped forward. i— the complete opposite from earlier 😂 “babe. he was just talking to me about the game.” he sighs and shakes his head. “i saw him watching you during the game. that guy had other plans.” you’re like 😳 because you had no idea lol. “but let’s give him something to watch. make sure the fanboy get it’s through his head that you’re with me.” oikawa then pulls you in for a kiss slightly hoping that guy happens to coincidentally pass by again 💞

akaashi

akaashi is patient and tries not to look into it much. that is, until things get a bit touchy. he was so in love when he saw how excited you were when he suggested taking you to go play mini golf. waking hand in hand you walk towards the front where you pay. “keiji, i’m gonna make a hole in one just watch.” akaashi just chuckles. “if you say so. i’m pretty good at this.” the guy working the register looks at you both yet his eyes linger on you for a bit longer. “here you go.” the guys hands you the putters and golf balls. the stranger looks at you and says “you look pretty fit. i’m sure you’ll be good at this.” akaashi is like 😐 ?? because this requires no athleticism whatsoever but let’s it go because it seems to boost your confidence. a couple minutes pass and you’re on the 4th hole. “i can’t believe you’re beating me rn.” “i told you, y/n. i’m kinda good at this.” akaashi smirks and assumes the pose of a pro golfer. you’re rolling your eyes until you hear a male voice “hey! looks like you need some advice.” your boyfriend doesn’t seem to bothered as it seems harmless until he sees what happens next. “omg pls. i’m trying to beat this menace over here.” “competitive, i like that. listen your posture is a bit off.” the guy goes around you to guide you. he’s really close with his chest to your back and his hands over yours. akaashi’s grip on the putter tightens “i think i can show how it’s done. thank you.” shoos the guy away and envelops you in his embrace. “oh so now you wanna help me?” “be quiet.” he kisses the top of your head and goes easy on you for the rest of the game lol.

atsumu

his words do not match his actions. smiling and coming off as friendly but what he’s saying ?? yeah no. atsumu was feeling a bit romantic and wanted to take you to a nice dinner. “ooh this is nice, tsumu.” “only the best for my y/n.” you two look over the menu debating what to get. then the waiter approaches and things take a turn. “hello, can i get you two started with some drinks?” “coke for me.” “and for you?” the waiter asks turning towards you and has the audacity to look you up and down. atsumu is like 🤨 “uh an iced tea pls.” the male leaves to get your drinks. “it’s kinda fancy here. feels weird.” “i know but i wanted to do somethin better than mcdonalds.” you laugh and the waiter is already back with your drinks. quietly hands astumu his coke and hands you your drink and something else ?? “this appetizer is one of my favorites. it’s on the house. “ you thank him with a smile. “i knew you had a beautiful smile. guess that’s your payment 😉 “ atsumu actually wants to spit his soda out at him lol. it gets worse because the waiter ignores him the whole time and pays special attention to you even getting close when taking your order. after the food is brought out, you two finally eat in peace. after, atsumu gets up to the use the restroom and bumps into the waiter. “how is everything tasting?” oh boy. “everythin tastes great 😄 but...they’re not on the menu ya know?” “i-i’m sorry?” atsumu crosses his arms and replies back with “don’t know if yer stupid or actin like it. but they’re with me so lay off.” doesn’t even let the guy reply and walks off. “everything okay babe?” atsumu just asks for the check and makes sure not to leave a tip ajgsgsjskal. once you’re out of the restaurant, he pulls you in for a long kiss. “remind me not to bring ya here again okay?” you hold back your laughter at everything that happened and just say “okay, but is my baby jealous~” “hmph.” atsumu then takes your hand in his but the way he’s holding it tightly gives you your answer 💕

semi

you can see it on his face. hear it in his voice. your sister, cousin, and neighbor can tell. this day you go and support your bf semi to one of his games as always. he lowkey hates how much the team loves you but prefers them over anyone else. the ace of the opposing team has been pretty open about his crush on you. has even said in front of semi “if i win the game, y/n you should consider leaving him for me.” i- the nerve 😟 to say he was mad is an understatement. “y/n wish me luck.” he leans down for a good luck kiss which you gladly oblige. as soon as he gets it, he’s off to go with the rest of the team. tendou will not stop with the teasing “semi semi. look who it is 🤪” it’s none other than the ace of the other team. the guy just smirks when he spots semi and waves to you. semi’s biting his tongue to stop the string of vulgarities he wants to yell at him. the game starts and you’re seated and ready to cheer whenever shiratorizawa scores. the first set is intense but the team pulls through. towards the end of the second set, the stupid ace of the other team decides to show off. he makes eye contact with you and delivers the fastest serve yet. the whole crowd is shook as well as you. semi turns to you and sees a wow manage to escape your lips. oh he’s pissed. he wants to be the one to leave you in awe. your his, who does this guy think he is ?? semi gets in the zone and pulls whatever he can to make they win. in the end, they win to really no ones surprise. semi is more surprised at the fact that he really thought he could lose you. the ace just glares at semi and walks away. “ahh congrats eita !! i knew you had this !” he pulls you in for a hug and let’s you congratulate the rest of the team. this gave him the push to want to be the best partner he can be for you 💓

he sure is a loving person. no one ever expects bokuto to dislike someone no matter how hateful the other person could get

so it was for sure a shock to all when the ace showed hatred to their student council president, which is you

why? ‘cause you limited their practice hours. without informing the team itself

let me tell you bokuto IS ANNOYED

considering you didn’t talk to him about it makes him 100x more mad now that they’re required to lock the gym before 6pm

usually their practices last 6-7 and he lost an hour

and that’s when your enemy relationship started

you did hate on him for some time, though it wasn’t supposed to go overboard now that everyone knows the both of you dislike each other

pft the thing is bokuto talks about you the whole damn time. nonstop

the rest of the volleyball by now thinks that he has a crush on you but naaaaah why would our team captain do that lol

one day you’re supposed to check on the cleanliness of the campus, unfortunately you’re assigned to the gym

of course, you hated the point that you’ve hurted people. in fact, it wasn’t even your idea to lock up the gym in such an early hour

and so you tried to strike in a conversation with the team captain next to you, hesitating on what to say

“bokuto-san?” you murmur so quietly, and he doesn’t reply.

you sigh when he burries his head further again before clearing your throat, “i-im sorry.. i didn’t know you’d feel like this when i declared to lock uo the gym at such an early hour.. y-you’re a really great person y’know?”

he remains seated by the wall, not moving. you assume he hates you as much now, not having the heart to reply to your apology. you bury your chin against your crossed arms.

“i’m sorry too..” you hear a short murmur. snapping your head to bokuto, you see him staring at the door infront of him. you smile, “it’s okay. i’m sure what i did was unforgivable.”

a flash of silence passes by, and you’re sure his silence probably means he agreed with what you just said.

you only sigh, “do you like pretzels?”

the sudden question seems to confuse bokuto, finally gaining the heart to turn his head to you, you gave him a wider smile. “if you’d like, i could treat you for those tasty desserts. i’d be happy to comply.”

something inside bokuto seems to tug onto his heartstrings when he hears the kind offer from you. surely, he’ll want to accept the offer in a swift. it just surprised him to know those words came from you. the one who he despised the most.

now that he have known you’re pretty much a great person, he couldn’t help but feel a little better. he gives you a short nod and you chuckle.

time went by and bokuto seems to be getting comfortable with you. as a matter of fact, it looks like he’s already back to his old self, now enthusiastically throwing his hands in excitement as he tells you all about his powerful matches and spikes. the adoration you felt for him became stronger every minute passing.

it sure wasn’t bad to be friends with fukurodani’s ace. maybe even better if it would go further than a simple friendship.

kuroo tetsuro

you and kuroo had thrown snarky remarks st each other for YEARS

years as in from middle school to highschool

no matter how much you despise the other the both of you still has managed to go in the same school lol

sexy big brain kenma have decided to get this over with and asks the teams assistance to lock you up in a closet with kuroo and wont let you out until you confess your feelings

you were surprised by his bluntness but honestly from kenmas expression he seems to be pissed already lmao

and there you were, the utterly awkward silence with kuroo inside a dark, small closet with nothing else but dust

you were sure the everlasting atmosphere surrounding both of you would be a sign that kuroo never got the thought of having a full conversation with you. usually, your relationship levels up only by sending pick up lines back and forth, also having that competition on whose grade is the highest etc etc.

though, there was a small problem. you wanted to curse at yourself for being too affected by the amount of dust in the small space. you tried to avoide sneezing by hovering your hand over your nose, sometimes pinching it in order for your nose to not detect the dust surrounding you.

unfortunately you couldn’t handle it. you felt your insides and nose starting to itch, the sudden involuntary expulsion of air irritating your nosetrils.

and that’s when it happened.

“ACHOO!”

you immediately freeze. this is it. this is where i get rejected. i’m going to cry. you cover your mouth, about to look down to the floor in embarassment when you hear kuroo’s laugh adorning the whole room. your eyes widens, looking up to see his reaction. you intensly blush when he looks at you with fond eyes and soft smile, making you look away to hide your red cheeks.

“that’s really cute. can you do it again?” his voice causes your heart to beat as fast, almost feeling your body weaken from his alluring presence.

“no.” you sharply reply, you heard a snort from beside you.

you wanted to look at him again. and once you do, you immediately regret the decision as he’s already staring at you, an arm resting on the metal shelf.

he chuckles, “say.. how about i take you out on a date after this?” he scratches his neck, “i’m pretty sure kenma’s probably itching for us to finally go on a date together.”

you never had the heart to say no to that attempting request.

oikawa tooru

it wasn’t a surprise to everyone when they heard you and oikawa had been enemies since middle school

it has been a routine for the both of you to ignore the other or rather shove in teasing remarks

oikawa disliked you eversince his mother introduced you. it just had been a real challenge to know both of your mothers are bestfriends so you had to see each other from time to time

and there goes on, both of you were popular for causing a fight in the tiniest reasons to the point where iwaizumi had to break off the argument between you and the setter

it was also unfortunate for him to know that you’re cousins with one of his teammates, hanamaki, who persuaded you to be the manager of their volleyball team. and of course you agreed

it’s not much of a problem anyways, you’ve managed to spend two and a half succeasful years without starting fights with oikawa during practice. everyone is surely relieved about that fact

even if you and oikawa would atleast stay mature throughout practice, there was one day in particular where the setter took a step closer to your breaking point

the match they had with shiratorizawa was a big scar to heal, it’s not like anyone has expected their loss anyways. so everyone wasn’t in the mood to spare conversation in the bus ride, leaving the mood silent and downcast

after everyone separated ways in the campus, the third years including you decided to stay in the gym to keep up with practicing

all of you seems to notice oikawa being in a bad mood, his face swarms exactly like annoyance as the ball he serves speeds up from across the court

now you, even if you knew you had that enemy troop with the team captain, you were sure that this is a time where he needs to call it quits and go home instead to take a rest

unfortunately, that doesn’t go in the right direction

as soon as you tried your best to spare him a conversation, oikawa spits out harmful words that shattered your heart without hesitance. even having the guts to call you an attention seeker when all you wanted to do was make him rest

that was all that you needed to hear as you walk away from him with no reply. then you got your things from the bench, leaving the gym with tears spilling from your eyelids as oikawa realizes his big mistake

i guess, if it wasn’t for iwaizumi kicking his ass during that time, then the setter wouldn’t snap out from his regretful thoughts

makki and mattsun reeks seriousness almost for the first time when he pushes you and oikawa in the gyms equipment room, slamming the door shut before you could even say anything.

as much as you’ve still felt the heartbreak from what happened yesterday, you tried your best to avoid contact with the brunette, your arms crossing in order to hug yourself in comfort.

it became all quiet, not exactly defying that the mood is awkward. due to that manner, even oikawa couldn’t look at you straight in the eye. he knew he didn’t deserve your forgiveness especially when he sees how uncomfortable you are right now.

but he has to anyways. he doesn’t mean anything he’s said yesterday, and he’s hoping that you knew that too.

and so oikawa does what he has to do.

“i.. i’m sorry.. for what i’ve said yesterday..” you froze at his words, “i know what i’ve done is unforgivable, but i promise i won’t do it again, and i regret everything that i did.”

he sounds as genuine and sad, but you didn’t reply just yet, sinking in the words that spilled from his mouth, somehow feeling the light weight upon his apology. oikawa sighs when he doesn’t hear a reply from you.

you turned your head to the setter, shyly making eye contact with him as the both of you blush before looking away.

you tuck a strand at the back of your year. “it’s.. it’s okay, i guess.. as long as you actually mean it, then there’s a slight chance i’ll be able to forgive you...” you mutter quietly. oikawa swore he saw flowers around the dusty closet.

his gaze lands softly on you, “how ‘bout i’ll make it up to you on a date?”

your eyes widens at his offer, “w-what?”

“you heard what i said.”

to see if he’s joking, you looked at him once again, surprised to see how serious and happy he is upon his own words. maybe it wouldn’t be a problem to go on a little date with him once.

“okay.” you agree, not aware of the amount of dates the both of you are soon going to have.

okay okay hear me out: rooftop restaurant at sunset. it’s classy and the view is gorgeous but it’s also just chill enough that you don’t have to worry about it when you laugh a little too loud or freak out a little too much when he surprises you with one of those promise rings from pandora. there’s live music, too, and even though he acts like he doesn’t want to, he thoroughly enjoys it when you drag him out of his seat to dance with you.

he keeps it classic partially bc he has no idea what he’s doing and texts you in the afternoon to get ready because you’re going somewhere nice. he shows up at your door with a bouquet of flowers and a cute plushie an hour later, and he’s a lot more dressed up than he’s used to being and lowkey looks kinda uncomfortable about it but it’s cute. and the food is super good, so even though he admits later in the evening that he does, in fact, hate getting dressed up, it’s worth it

(i wanna say it's probably not an art museum, it's probably history or science or something. i love art museums but those are also so so dope.) and his gift would be based on some inside joke the two of you have, complete with a card that *looks* like it would be super sweet based on the outside of it, but on the inside there's just literal printed out memes that he's glued into it. what a fucking dork. he's gonna make it up to you tho, spending the entire day telling you how much he loves you and clinging to you until you're sick of him.

pretty lazy, but not in a bad way— tbh, the biggest thing for you guys is just that you get to spend quality time together, no matter what you’re doing. if you wanna go out then you will definitely be going out because he’s down for whatever you are, but if you’re also feeling lazy, he’d love to stay in with you and just cuddle while the two of you play video games or watch movies or something. also he gets you one of those comically large stuffed animals “because you’re always clinging to me when you sleep and i can’t always be there”

i feel like it would actually be something super chill and low-key, just some quality time that you guys get to spend together. he'd take you out for lunch (maybe ramen or something ?? idk i feel like it would be something between casual and super fancy) and then you'd wander around the city together and end up chilling at his place, making dinner together and laughing and cuddling until you fall asleep

terushima yūji

knowing him and his fucked up/nonexistent sleep schedule, you'll probably pull an all-nighter talking to him the night before (but hey, valentine's day is on a sunday this year, so it's fine !!). he'll call you at, like, 6 a.m. and drag you out to watch the sunrise with him, sitting on the hood of his car while you lean on his shoulder, still half-asleep. you'll take it slow together for the rest of the day, grabbing coffee and playing rock, paper, scissors to decide what you’re doing next.

tsukishima kei

for all the teasing and bitching you put up with on a daily basis while dating him, he’s actually probably one of the most thoughtful when it comes to this. he’ll have a fucking itinerary for the entire day, starting with having you spend the night at his place the day before so that he can surprise you with breakfast in bed. he’s another one of those who’s kind of shy about his gift (a pretty bracelet accompanied by a shockingly vulnerable letter). it ends with the two of you making dinner together and falling asleep on the couch after eating<3

yamaguchi tadashi

just. everything. all the typical valentine’s day gifts, emphasis on all. he shows up at your door with an armful of candy and flowers and stuffed animals, topped off with a super sweet card. he’ll probably show up earlier in the morning, too (he’ll make sure you’re awake first, duh), so that he can make you breakfast and you can spend a lazy morning together.
