I've got a question to all loki lovers, writers and all that...

What is Loki's favourite ice cream flavour?

Instead of writing, I evidently prefer to think about facts and stuff for the story (instead of writing it🙄) and for plot purposes, I wonder what ice cream flavour our dear Loki favours?

I have my personal preferences but they're very plain and my scope in ice cream isn't very vast anyway so what does the community think?

New Years with Loki hc’s:

He would be so confused on why this was such a big deal to many midgardians…its a new year…so what?

Besides his confusion, he loved new years eve parties, and with you it just makes it 100x better

His first new years eve party was hosted by Tony Stark so of course it did not disappoint

He wore a nice black suit with hints of green silks inside his coat jacket. You on the other hand wore a tight fitting dress, also having hints of green through glitter spread around the dress

Loki could not keep his eye off you

The night was filled with great conversation, food, drinks and celebration of the year that passed by and the year to come

Loki kept hearing about “resolutions” and of course when it came to Midgardian things he did not understand, he would ask you

“Why is everyone asking me my “resolutions”? From Stark to the spider boy to even the arrow guy…what is a resolution darling?”

“Well a new years resolution is something people make as a sort of change in their life, sometimes they’re big, sometimes small. It’s just something people make as the new year comes, since its like a restart of everything”

“That sounds…odd, why do people wait till new years to make a change, just do it now”

“I cant really answer that honey, everyone is different, plus I have my own resolution”

His eyebrows raised at your response “You do? Enlighten me my dear”

“Yea one of my new years resolution is to spend more time reading, hopefully finishing books i have been putting of. I guess mine is small but it is some improvement…you should make something!” You encouraged him as to bring in the new years spirit

“Me? Improvement? Make a resolution? Darling I don’t need one. I’m perfect. duh” He snickered

You laughed at his response “You know there isn’t such thing as perfection, thats what makes life beautiful, its always changing and you find the beauty in it…plus, even perfection such as yourself can always self improve somewhere”

“That defeat the whole purpose of perfect, I don’t need some resolution…i am PERFECT darling!” He kisses your cheek as he finished his stance

“Okay! Whatever you say honey”

The night goes on as normal but of course your words linger Loki’s mind…and he took a minute to do some reflection…i mean he knew he was perfect, but even perfection has room for self-improvement…hmmm..

As the final 10 minutes of the year approached, your tipsy self found Loki and fell onto him

“Woah! Darling you ok?” He says as he holds you up

“YUP JUST TIPSY! …its a-almost n-new years…i need to be sober for our kisssssss”

“Kiss? I can kiss you right now you know”

“nOOOO new years eve kiss! I need water…NOW”

Loki rushes to get you water to get you back to being sober and by the time you gathered yourself and your thoughts, there was about 3 minutes to go

“OKAY IM GOOD! so basically a new years kiss is when we kiss once the clock hits 0! so basically…an i love you kiss, happy new year! Ya get it?”

Loki nods…he would kiss you any day at any time but he knew to wait, this was special to you as he could tell

As everyone gathered and the clock counted down, you and Loki stood together side by side

“10….9…8…7!”

Loki watches as everyone was here, celebrating the past and the future, all in the present moment…

“6…5…4...3!”

As the last 3 seconds ticked by, he took one good look at you. He knew how the past year had been for you…filled with so much good, too much bad in his opinion but amazing moment you both shared…and he couldn’t wait to see what the future brought for you in your own right, but for where you both will be and the memories to be created…he couldn’t wait

“2…1! Happy New Year!” Everyone cheered, screams of happiness filled the room and hugs and love was spread all around

You looked up at Loki and awaited for him to kiss you, which he did once you gave that glance that drove him insane

As the kiss went on, Loki felt nothing but happiness…how lucky is he to be with someone like you? What a lucky god he is….

Pulling away, you hugged Loki and watched as the fireworks went of and your friends greeting one another, you and Loki also greeting back

The excitement slowly died down and many went back to partying and drinking…Loki looked at you “Darling…I have a resolution”

You looked at him happily “You do?! You wanna share or keep it to yourself?”

“No no…you should know…My new years resolution is to make us happier…build us closer to our future…and of course…love you more and more each day…”

Looking at Loki, your eyes welled up in happy tears and you kissed him once more “Oh i’m so lucky to be with you…my love, I love you so much”

“I am just as lucky as you…I love you too…happy new year” He says with a smile as he held you close

Bucky~

a little slow with wrapping his head around it, came from a time where there was a lot of stigma around high support needs autistic folk so he might have some things to unlearn and a lot of new stuff to learn.

tries his best to memorise your sensitivities and preferences but will mix a few things up.

off handedly remembers a lot of details you dont expect him to catch onto, especially when it comes to how you communicate.

will come up with nicknames based on comparing your behaviours he finds cute with certain animals who have the same behaviours.

if you like organizing things hes a mess and never remembers where you put things and has to ask every time because hes used to chaotic order.

picks up on your stims and even starts doing a few himself without realizing.

"hey, fruit bat, where'd the keys go?" "...obviously by the door, right"

loves going to the movies with you but makes sure you get a good seat in the back not too close to the speakers or too close/far from the screen so you arent over stimulated.

stops wearing cologne because youre sensitive to scents and he doesnt want to give you a headache

need something cold/smooth to calm down/relax? you can hold onto his metal arm

isnt sure how to handle your meltdowns but does what he can to help you, breaths with you if you need it maybe even has you rest your head on his chest to help you calm down when its over.

Wait this is so embarrassing to post but i was pondering so heavily last night… do we think loki got really needy between the events of avengers/tdw because he definitely went without any kind of intimacy or physical touch from another for years or do we think he handles it well? was he losing his mind in the dungeons of asgard (obviously but i mean specifically from the lack of intimacy), or was it just another tuesday for him… bc loki was definitely sleeping around in the events before thor 1. he was a prince and Thee god of mischief… like did he miss it, or did he grow (in his exile) to not crave it that much anymore?

I feel like rings are a very Midgard thing for this sort of business. He knows it's an important thing for the ceremony and significance for you, so this is where he comes into his own.

An emerald, like you suggested, perhaos in a delicate halo of diamonds. Or maybe just by itself. Not too big, perfectly crafted in size and shape to compliment your fingers. I imagine he would have the Asgardian gemsmiths fashion it. Because who else?

Wild Card

I do have this recurring mental image of a plan gold band, crafted into weaves. His insignia is fashioned into it, raised slightly so you can feel it whenever you rub your finger over the ring, or play with it nervously. And when he breathes on the metal, words appear like The One Ring 😂

They're words of love and devotion. They change sometimes, ever so slightly at the speakers hand. A reminder that whatever his reputation, you have the real him, his heart with you. Always.

hugging loki for the first time - headcanon

a/n: thank you for this prompt anon, and for your kind words<3 i've been kinda busy recently so here's a headcanon for you :) requests and asks are always open!

word count: 550

We all know that Loki isn’t the most tactile of people. He remembers hugging Frigga when he was younger, but growing up isolated he probably hasn’t hugged anyone or had any form of physical affection for years.

Which is why he panics when he sees you getting upset, because he wants to comfort you so bad but he truly doesn’t know how to go about doing it. The thought of you pushing him away or laughing at him is almost more than he can stomach.

But he can’t just leave you on the other side of the room, not when you’ve been near silent all evening and now tears are filling your eyes, threatening to spill over on to your cheeks even as you turn your head to try and hide them.

Loki pretends not to notice your tears at first, hating himself for being so useless, wishing he knew exactly how to make you feel better. Because he would, if he did, in a heartbeat.

After a couple of seconds he hears a heartbreakingly quiet sniff from your direction, and the sound is so forlorn that before he realises he’s decided to move he’s on his feet and walking towards you.

When he reaches you he stops, and you lift your face to look at him through red-rimmed eyes, and the sight of your face so open and vulnerable before him makes his breath catch in his throat. Something cracks open in his chest, and then he’s reaching out a hand to you.

For a few seconds you just sit there with your tear-stained cheeks, looking at his outstretched hand, and Loki’s heart sinks. Odin’s beard, what had he been thinking?

But then, after what feels like a couple of eons, you reach out and put your hand in his. You stand up, and instinct takes over. Loki wastes no time in pulling you towards him, bringing you into his chest and wrapping his arms around you.

Blood singing in his ears, heart thudding in his chest (he’s sure you’ll be able to feel it), he waits for you to push him away but instead your whole body relaxes, leaning into his embrace and letting your hands creep up his back, holding him against you.

You fit so perfectly against him, and he even risks setting his chin on the top of your head, emboldened by the way you’ve practically melted against him.

He brings one hand up to the back of your neck, keeping the other on your lower back, so that he can gently push his fingers through your hair. If he could see your face, he’d be able to see you closing your eyes with a contended smile.

Loki doesn’t know how long the two of you stand there for, but he knows that however long it will be it won’t be enough. He can’t remember being this relaxed in forever.

He might be imagining it, but he thinks he hears you whisper ‘thank you’ against his chest as he holds you, and closes his eyes.

It might have been for entirely selfless reasons that he’d hugged you, but now he realises that he might have needed this just as much as you had.

Loki having the BIGGEST crush on you hc’s:

Scenario: In an effort to bring the nine realms together, Odin had decided to open Asgard’s gates to all. Your family saw this as an opportunity for a better life as Midgardian living caused immense struggle for your parents. And so, 20 years ago while your mother was still pregnant with you, your entire family migrated to Asgard.

With Asgard becoming a new home for many, more rules and changes were done in the lands…and luckily these changes brought nothing but wealth and happiness to both the royal family of Asgard and its citizens…thus as you stepped into your newly rented shop…you had only one goal:

To be one of the most prestigious restaurants in all of Asgard and the nine realms…which you did,

with the help of one Asgardian prince

Loki was simply looking for Midgardian food when he saw you running a small shop by the market

Since then he would stroll by every other day

He would always find an excuse to stay longer and have a chat with you

Loki would send you letters, talking about what he thinks about your hobbies and complimenting your food

Soon he found himself coming back almost everyday, and even decided to study sometimes just so he would stay longer

He blushes at the sight of you

He loves the way you say his name when getting his attention

He’s secretly written poems about you and kept them in a drawer in his chambers

He would tell Frigga about you and how you are the most amazing woman he’s met

Even on days when there wasn’t a single customer…he was there, and on one of those days was when the realisation hit that he was madly in love with you

As the restaurant grew, more and more people started pouring in, which meant Loki saw less of you…and so he asked if he could accompany you to the market when buying ingredients, which you happily said yes to

The first time he went, it took everything in him not to drop the basket, he was getting all flustered and red just from the sight of you in your sunday market outfit

He loves and admires the way you pick the freshest greens and veggies while also making fun and great conversation with the vendors

Soon you were both market shopping every weekend…but Loki was sad on the days he didn’t see you

He would stop himself from leaving his chambers because he feels like he’s pushing boundaries

He was so stupidly deeply in love with you…but he couldn’t tell you or anyone besides his mother

He often cried because he felt like you didn’t like him the same way, or that you could never accept him for who he is and who he really was

Nevertheless…he kept making his poems of you, sending letters and tiny gifts of chocolates and sweets and hoping to the gods above that he could be yours

With the restaurant growing, it was time to expand, which meant leaving Asgard for awhile, when you told this to Loki…he wasn’t too happy about it, but tried to burry that feeling

You still needed help back on Asgard and he agreed to manage the branches there…but even then he couldn’t say “I love you…I have loved you for so long”

The crying became worse, but he always stayed happy for you

The day you left, Loki was there, trying not to confess or cry…but he couldn’t help himself…

“I…I love you…I’m in love with you” he chokingly sobs out

“what?!” you say but before you could say anything, the bifrost opens and you’re sent down to Midgard

Loki was in shocked and followed you immediately

“I…i’ve been in love with you since the first moment i saw you wearing that green apron and making desserts…I…I love our sunday market trips and I love the way you say my name and i just…i just love everything about you and i want to help you and be part of your dreams…yo-your future! i want to be yours…”

A confused and contorted look painted your face “w-who are you?”

“what?!” Loki was in disbelief! how could that even be possible?! you were both just saying goodbye a second ago? how the fu-*click*

“Loki!” A voice booms…it’s Odin… “You have been too distracted by this woman! Ignoring your princely duties! Your studies! I expect better from you!” Loki starts to tear up “and so you make her forget me?!” Odin moves closer “She has a dream ahead of her that i know will be successful, you not being in her life will make that possible…and as for you…we will talk further…let’s go”

That’s how the prince of Asgard helped you become one of the most prestigious restaurants in all the nine realms…He still is deeply in love with you…but he can only love you from a distance

Jotun Physiology Headcanon (with respect to one Loki Laufeyson)

A/N: I FORGOT I STARTED WRITING THIS. I created the draft on October 16, 2020 :,) I think the last time I edited it before this week was like 2022.

A bit different than what's been on this blog so far, but I've had this concept for years and figured I'd put it out there in my own way. :)

MINORS DNI

Regardless of how “bestial” they are or not (the Asgardians are not exactly reliable narrators), the Jotuns are creatures of the cold; this much is clear. Therefore, one might assume that physical activities that generate too much heat would be less than ideal, especially ones that require skin-to-skin contact, even if they want to engage in it. So, for the continuation of their species, biology might have given them a further incentive: aphrodisiac sexual fluids. Ingesting it (both male and female fluids) is the most immediate way to gain any effects, although the chemicals that create the aphrodisiac portion can also be absorbed through the various membranes during sex (male-giving), although the results aren't as pronounced as swallowing the fluids.

So. Back to Loki. :)

Similar to how he is unable to cause frostbite and other Jotun things in his Asgardian illusion, the effects are less pronounced when Loki appears Asgardian. That isn’t to say it doesn’t work, because it definitely does, but not to the same extent as when he is visually a Frost Giant; in general, the effects double (at a minimum) in his true natural state. Asgardians are not affected much: they just get essentially a buzz, a little push; they may grow warm, a little extra arousal, but nothing major. Humans, being far removed from the conditions of the rest of the Nine Realms (magic and other various things that I have no knowledge of), are far more susceptible to its effects: even a fraction of fluid is enough to start something—a heat in the loins, quickening of the heart, an increased desire...and a full “dose”? Burning need, stronger than the most turned on a person has ever been, enough to take over their thoughts entirely, if it's allowed to get that far. And such an all-consuming desire can only be fulfilled in one way: engaging in sex with the one who caused this altered state. And, even then, it's a bit of a cyclical thing, because the more fluids enter the body, the longer the effects last...but if one does not fuck, then one will be incapacitated for at least a day or few, if not more, depending on how much has been consumed. And this is just the baseline from his Asgardian default; from his Jotun form, expect to become delirious with a need that nothing on Earth could even hope to instill in a person, enough to feel like one will go mad.

Side note: There is no such thing as "a little bit of cum" for male Frost Giants. Naturally, they're typically, well, giants, so it's proportional (mostly). This means that Loki produces an...excessive amount when compared to an Asgardian or a human, regardless of which form he takes. Not typically enough to overflow as an Asgardian, it's a bit more within believability then. As a Jotun, prepare to have him leaking down your thighs. Y'know, if your mind isn't leaking out of your head from wanting him so badly. :)

Did I write this whole thing just to excuse the fact that I wanted Loki to have aphrodisiac cum to write a couple particular scenes that may or may not ever be posted? Yes, yes I did.

i think loki would kind of relate to high and dry by radiohead. i think about him whenever i listen to it, i wonder if he would like them, or any other midgardian music… wish he was real so i could ask him 🥹

LGG Asgard vs Avenger Loki

1. What are the major differences between them?

On the whole, Asgard Loki is usually written from his POV. I don't know why that is, it just feels right. Asgard Loki is a little spoiled, decadent in the extreme, entirely confident and in tune with his needs and desires. He wears many hats (lover, warrior, object of adoration), and is reluctantly subject to both the family traditions and family drama that surrounds him. And of course, there's the outfits.

Avenger Loki is more fluid in my head. He bounces between Clandestine/Hostile F*cks styles in oneshots. He can be a bit snarkier, a bit colder and sassier. But he knows what he wants (which is mostly you). I get the feeling Avenger Loki is more complex than his Asgardian version, he's seen more 'reality' - but it adds to his depth. He's also more in tune with his desires. And of course, there's the outfits.

2. Do they 'feel' different when writing them?

Yes ma'am. I find myself lingering longer in Asgard Loki's inner thoughts, spending time on bits of asgardian lore I find entertaining. With Avenger Loki, he's just a non stop fucktrain most of the time. I am working on something which sort of combines both elements, so we'll see😆

3. What would they like/dislike about each other?

Both of them have that chip on their shoulder so would probably find something to moan about. Asgard Loki would lament the clothing choices of Avenger Loki. Avenger Loki would cringe at Asgard Loki's obvious peacocking, conveniently ignoring that he does the same thing.

4. Who would you prefer.

Come now, that's hardly a fair question is it😆🤭
