I whole heartedly believe that Matt is a very tactile guy as in he loves cuddles and hugs and holding hands or leaning his head on Foggy's shoulder when they are watching movies but the thing is he rarely let's himself be tactile. It's like one of does mantras Stick taught him, that he is too soft and allowing himself the comfort of his tactile behaviour is gonna be the death of him which it isn't but it's been so drilled into his head that he just can't imagine actually allowing himself to ask for hugs or cuddles for that matter.

He is only acts tactile like that around the people he absolutely trust which is a very sad list of one Foggy Nelson. It's mostly because Foggy has been around since basically forever and Foggy, on his own, is very stubborn, so slowly over the years he broke down the walls that Matt had carefully constructed.

I imagine after the whole daredevil reveal and they are good buddies again that Matt opens up more about what training with Stick was like and admits to denying himself comfort.

There is a lot more cuddles from then on and murder plans to kill Stick but that's mostly Foggy.

I like Foggy and Matt's friendship a lot, I find it more realistic than some other friendships in the mcu and it's mostly due to the raw emotions both characters display in their friendship. It's the way Foggy shows his anger and inevitably his fear for Matt going out at night as daredevil. It's the way Matt's heart breaks to cause that fear and anger but yet he can't stop being daredevil and therefore can't stop hurting Foggy as well. I know Matt burns to tell Foggy why he does what he does, that he can't stop hearing the screams of despair that the city is determined to let Matt hear and yet he knows, god he knows, that Foggy won't understand, won't get it ever.

That's why I like this friendship because it shows there isn't any easy solution, no "I just saved the day, let's go back to being friends like nothing happened", I like how Foggy actually holds Matt accountable for the way he has hurt them both but that he can also acknowlegde in some sick and twisted way that this is Matt punishing himself for the "devil" in him and that breaks Foggy's heart because Matt's the most selfless person on earth is punishing himself for nothing. It makes Foggy stay close, makes him suck it up and be there when Matt comes crawling in through a window body injured beyond what should be possible and patches him up.

Because in the end it's the love Foggy has for Matt that's greater than his anger and Matt can't help but feel guilty for taking it.

I wonder if Hob ever asked why Morpheus didn't show up in the 1980s for their meeting and if so would Morpheus tell him the truth? That he was captured and imprisoned for over a 100 years? Would Hob be horrified at what Morpheus was implying, at the absolute traumatic experience it must have been? Hob is a good friend, he wouldn't out right show his horror because he knows Morpheus would be skittish and certaintly wouldn't believe anything Hob would tell him so Hob marches on, shows his support enough to not make Morpheus frigthened and run away.

But behind close doors? Hob would fall apart, he would remember all the ill thoughts he had carried, how he thought Morpheus was a jerk for standing him up, how he would berate Morpheus for not accepting his easy friendship, all the curse words he had uttered in the middle of the night.

And then his thoughts would turn to all he did wrong, to how he could have saved Morpheus, how he could have snuck in and broken the glass prison. He had heard about how burgess supposedly had the devil in his basement and at the time Hob had thought nothing of it, he should've, he is immortal, a being defying nature for god sake! He should have looked closer but he didn't because he was too caught up in his own self pity.

Eventually all these thoughts turns to nightmares and in the realm of the dreaming Morpheus catches on. His heart breaks for his friend, he never intended for this to happen he had merely offered an explaination for his absence, an explaination his dear friend was entitled to. Yet it seemed to have only upset him more. Morpheus wonders if all he ever does is hurt the people he love.

Do you think if Hob does something that annoys Morpheus, Morpheus will inspire all Hob's student to write about shakespeare. A week later Hob is absolutely fuming in his office having to grade papers on freaking shakespeare and when he visits Morpheus in the dreaming Morpheus just looks at him smirking and asks "Is something wrong Hob? Did someone perhaps mention dear old Will?"

Hob responds with, "Oh fuck off you bastard, never inspire my students again!"

I vote that we say whatever Ferdinand kingsley is doing is just Hob Gadling trying out a new profession.

Oh Ferdinand is staring in a new movie? Wrong, that's Hob wanting to be an actor.

He is doing model jobs? Damn Hob is gonna slay that photoshoot.

Stiles has a list of all the flirting attempts Peter has done on Batman

He bought pillows to sit on the floor since him and Jason always ends up on the floor

Besides Jason Damian is the one who hangs around Stiles' apartment the most, he likes Stiles nobody knows why

Alfred was giving small jars of potions that is used to get the bats to go to fucking sleep

The inside of the red hood helmet is filled with runes bc Stiles worry a lot about Jason when he goes out

The same goes for Jason's leather jacket

Jason will complain but secretly he loves it

Stiles and Jason had rooftop dates where they mostly stargaze

Personally i think Morpheus loves halloween, I mean c'mon the guy gets to go all nightmare!

Just imagine Hob informing him about Halloween and then Morpheus being so excited (cue a small smile as a physical reaction) so he asks Hob if he can participate.

So on Halloween Hob hands out candy to the children while Morpheus spooks them or awes them with his different "costumes" like one minute he is a victorian King the next he is the boogie man. It's awesome!

AO3 Comments are SO SO SOOOOOOO important because you can only leave Kudos ONCE. You add to the hit count ONCE (every 24 hours).

So whenever someone updates their fic, the ONLY way an author knows who their regular readers are is if they comment on each chapter. And we WANT to know who's still reading.

Believe it or not, some of us think about the name that pops up constantly in the comments and go "omg I can't wait to see what they think of THIS SPECIFIC SCENE cuz I KNOW they'll say something about it!!!"

I noticed that an amazing fic I read with over 60k words and over 900 kudos...didn't receive a single comment in 2022.

There were some comments in 2021, then a gap, then a few comments from this year. That is insane.

Ao3 is not built like Wattpad, it is not meant to be treated like the 'latest hits' page where you only read the new works, or where you only click on sort by number of kudos. It doesn't matter if the fic you like is not wip anymore - if you really like the story, comment. A simple heart will do. The author won't think you're annoying, in fact they'll probably be incredibly happy.

Fic authors don't deserve to have their work just disappear with no engament after few weeks pass. The fics don't deserve it either

Love fics where Clint meets Matt while he is daredevil and Clint uses signs or just sign language to communicate but daredevil (in his pov) is so rude and ableist bc he ignores him so Clint thinks it's because daredevil doesn't like that he is deaf when in reality Matt is just under the mask panicking bc hawkeye isn't speaking, he can hear vague movements of hands but he doesn't know why
