Arthur's notes: Kon & Conner are twins and are Lois & Clark's sons. Y/N is a clone of Batman & Wonder-woman. Third P. O. V

Y/N must go to Argo alone as her husband is no longer with her. But is he truly gone?

"how?.. How am I going to tell her M'gann? I should have.. I should have been the one.." Conner broke down in tears of complete guilt.

The funeral reception was held at Wayne Manor. Y/N stood with the Kent's by the memorial for her husband. She was torn in two. Her only love, her other half was now gone. She can't help but imagine him dying in so much pain. His brother's Jordan, Jonathan and Conner were nearby. Lois squeezed Clark's hand as she nearly shaked throughout. Many friends and family arrived paying their respects. The original team members came. Even some of the leaguers. Alfred and her parents, had been helping her through this difficult time. Bruce and Diana made themselves stand from afar so the rest of her family could do the same. Cassandra looked at her sister seeing everything she felt. She approaches with Tim, Duke and Stephanie. Cass didn't say a word but only hugged her. As they part Stephanie gave her the biggest hug she could.

"I'm so so sorry Y/N. It's OK if you want to cry" Steph said which made her cry "we're your family and we'll be here"

As they part Y/N dried her tears Duke hugs her.

"I'm sorry sis" he mumbled sincerely.

Tim then hugged her. She hugged him tight. Tim's heart broke not only did he lose his best friend, his brother. His sister lost her other half.

"he really did love you"

The Grayson's arrived. Dick held his sleeping daughter as they step to the widow. Y/N forced a kind smile. Barbara held Y/N's hands.

"there's no words I can say to take away your pain. Believe me I know exactly how it feels to lose someone whom you love" Barbara said as Y/N began to cry.

Dick hugged her as soon as Barbara parted. He kisses her forehead.

"Kon was a good man and a good husband to you. I am so sorry. He loved you so much" Dick sadly said.

Jason and Artemis had been on vacation when he got the call. He unfortunately was late. Jason was feeling terrible for not being there sooner. Jason arrived and approaches with Artemis and Tyler. She softly smiled to the Todd family. Jason smiled kindly hugging his sister.

"I am so sorry Y/N"

She nodded as she was unable to speak. Tyler hugged his aunt. She hugs him kissing his head. Tyler was in tears.

"it's OK to cry Tyler.. I've been crying all day" she told her nephew.

"I love you too" he said to which she smiled.

Damian entered with his girlfriend Rachel. He stepped to his sister. What should he say? What should he do? He imagined himself losing Rachel. That hurts too much but he realizes what Y/N would do for him. He quickly stepped to her and hugged her securely. As moments went by she felt overwhelmed, flustered. She appreciates the support but it was tearing her up inside, he wasn't here. As the funeral ended. Clark felt his eyes shaking as he touched his daughter-in-laws shoulder.

"you are welcome to stay in Argo"

Y/N began crying realizing they know. Clark hugged her along with Lois.

"you and M'gann are the daughters I never could have" she kisses her head "my heart is broken my son would have been.." Lois began to cry

"I know" Y/N said in tears

They had always been family to her throughout her life. Y/N sits in her car. Her hands began to shake as she reaches to her keys. She tried to make her hands stop shaking. She laid her head on the car wheel. She slowly began to cry as she couldn't hold it back any longer. Bruce's heart was broken to see his little girl in such heartbreak. Diana nearly cried to see her, daughter in so much pain. She held Bruce's hand

"she can't leave Bruce. We have to tell her to stay home"

"I know" Bruce agreed

Y/N sees her mom opening the car door. She turns her head to face her. Diana holds her daughters hand to guide her out of the car. She hugs her daughter as she began sobbing as her heart was torn in two. Y/N made herself calm down.

"come inside and get some rest. We can send your brothers and sisters to get your things" Bruce said

She gently shakes her head as more tears fell "I-I-I can't"

"Y/N we want you stay" Bruce pleaded rubbing her head

"no you don't understand.. I have to.. I have to go to Argo..." she began to sob "for my baby"

The family supported her as she grieved her terrible loss and helped her anyway they could. The Kent's visited her, bringing food for her. As her pregnancy progressed. Y/N soon found out she was not only pregnant with one baby but two. A baby boy and a baby girl..

"how long have you known?" Conner asked Dick forcing his emotions to go further down.

"4 weeks I know I should have told you and I know he's your brother but I wasn't sure until now. I.. I'm sorry"

"I.. I understand.. Does Y/N know?"

"she's 29 weeks and I'm afraid.. I don't know what state Kon will be in. I know added stress could put her in premature labor.. And that kind of stress"

"I also understand but.. We tell her as soon as soon as we get my brother"

Inside the Med-bay of the watchtower. Kon laid with only his pants on, with his chest bandaged from the deep wounds. He was hooked to IV fluids and his face covered with a cloth to help the burns. Leaving the phantom zone was quite painful. Conner stood close by tensely. He could hear his heart beating as it was slow. Every time he looked at Kon... It made him feel sick. Conner couldn't be more grateful that he's alive but it tore him to see him in so much pain. Conner sat in the chair focusing on his little twin brothers heartbeat... Clark entered the room with Lois. The parents saw their sons both asleep. Conner feels a soft blanket laid on him. He opens his eyes and smiles to his mother.

"go back to sleep" she softly said

Kon began to gain conscious as he then remembered...

He gasps, he heard the heartbeats "they're ok" he mumbled, opening his eyes. His wife.. And his babies are ok.

They rush to him Clark rubs his forehead "hey son, I'm so glad you're OK" Clark cried. "you feeling OK?"

"I'm fine Pa" Kon said shakily

Lois sobbed and kissed the side of his head.

"my sweet baby"

"hey Ma"

Conner placed his hand on his shoulder in tears.

"crybaby.." Kon mumbled

"shut up Kon" Conner cried.

Soon there after Jonathan and Jordan came to hug their older brother. Y/N sat on the bed with her hand on her bump flustered. Diana sat with Y/N as her daughter held her hand. She had a minor contraction so Diana insisted that she rest.

"I-I can't stay here mom" Y/N cried

"I know it's hard but be assured that he's alive Y/N"

"I know" she cried.

She couldn't risk leaving Argo as the twins were continually trying to kick and Kon couldn't risk leaving with his injuries too severe. Y/N panicked as her phone rung as it plopped back and forth in her hands. Diana propped pillows behind her so her back was supported. Y/N held it tightly seeing that it was Kon calling her. Diana kisses her head and leaves to give her privacy. She began to stutter and answers. Kon takes a deep breath as his family left to give him privacy.

"hey honey" he said.

"hi" her lips tremble

It was really him. She broke into joyous tears. Kon's heart wrenched craving her touch and to be able to hold her.

"I've really missed you so much.. Dammit Kon I thought.. I thought I was going to loss my mind.. I can't believe I'm talking to you" she sobbed "I-I-I can't believe you are alive"

Kon allowed his tears to fall rather than dry them away "I'm so so sorry.. I can't imagine how hard.. How-- I can't apologize enough for leaving you"

"don't.. Don't apologize.. I'm not mad at you. I could never be mad at you. I love you"

"I love you too. I could hear them before I--" Kon stuttered remembering that moment "and I hear you and our babies now. I missed that. I miss you so much babe, it's torture"

"it'll be over soon and then you can come back home to me, to our babies"

A continuation of Anon's Danny + Jazz Adoption AU except its set in the Young Justice Universe and both siblings get placed on the team as a means to keep their respective parents from causing too much trouble (their villains and thus being model citizens is off the table...primarily because Danny ate part of said table)

Like imagine Season 1 of Young Justice but with Jazz oozing out her "Big Sister" vibes while Danny is the gremlin that Mama [Harley] and Dad taught him to be, plus having to openly supernatural beings on the team (the gator-themed halfa ghost king and his halfa elder sister).

Maybe Dani comes into play at Cadmus, as in Cadmus through their sources gets the materials needed to Clone the duo but due the instability of Ghosts in general they had to combine the material which creates Dani as a stable entity who gets busted out by her genetic donors.

Ate the table...ate the- that is SO Danny oml.

I will have to do some research on Young Justice to do this (wait for it!) Justice.

But here's what I've got so far:

The adults LOVE Jazz at first! Despite being raised by Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, and Harley Quinn, she's almost an upstanding citizen!

The issue comes when they realize she'# also scamming rich assholes out of their money, helping people break laws she thinks are unfair, and has repeatedly advocated for murder as an acceptable way to deal with bad guy of the week. You know, if she doesn't just let them go.

Danny harrases the hell out of Constantine at any chance, and has helped Dani kidnap Kon, which creates an ensuing custody battle for the ages.

Mainly because she's had Kon blend in with the 4 OTHER black-haired blue-eyed clones she calls her brothers and call Vlad dad for 6 months.

Vlad has imprinted. Finders keepers, this is HIS child now! Cue shenanigans as Vlad just barely toes the line of what the JL will let slide, merrily singing 'na na na na na na you can't get me' the whole time.

Danny keeps slipping out of any ghost restraints they put him in. (Batman has adoption papers ready).

They're great allies in a fight, but within 6 months, the JL is READY to let them go.

"Oh great, we didn't want to bring out the really annoying stuff."

"THAT WASN'T THE WORST?!" "Haha no." They refuse to elaborate.

Been Awhile - Part 2

As soon as initial introductions are made you and Kon quickly make your way to the Zeta-Tube. Clark had promised to slow Bruce down enough for you to get away, but your father wasn’t Batman for nothing.

“Y/N!” He sounds almost frantic as he tries to get to the tubes before you. “Y/N, wait!”

Conner quickly inputs the coordinates to Metropolis and pushed you into the machine, “I’ll meet you at home. Love you”

“Kon, what - !” But it was too late, the Zeta-Beam has already started and soon Metropolis materializes around you. “Shit”

Kon stands tall in the Watchtower hallway, his wife safe on Earth, and Batman standing menacingly in front of him.

“Step aside Kon-El, I need to speak to my daughter.”

The Kryptonian snorts, “Y/N hasn’t been your daughter for years now, Batman. Just because you find out she’s married doesn’t give you the right to speak to her.”

Bruce yanks off his cowl and glares at his, supposed, son-in-law, “I have every right to speak to her! She’s my daughter!”

“And she’s my wife! Y/N and I have been together since we were sixteen! I proposed after her high-school graduation, and we got married a week after her college graduation! How many years is that, Bruce?!” Batman opens his mouth to respond, but Kon doesn’t give him a chance, “Six years now, Y/N graduated with two bachelors degrees in 3 years! And you haven’t been there for any of her accomplishments! Last time she was at the Manor, Damian told her that she was a burden!”

“I didn’t -”

“All these years she’s been waiting for you to notice! Waiting for you to reach out, hoping you’d remember you had a daughter at all! But no, the only brother she’s talked to is Jason and he’s off the grid so often it hardly counts!”

Kon stops and takes a deep breath, “I have no doubt that she’ll forgive you eventually. Y/N sees the best in everyone, no matter how often people disappoint her. But I won’t. I won’t forget how many nights I had to hold my wife while she cried because of you and your family. I won’t forgive everything I heard you say to her. Before I wasn’t able to do anything about it, but now I can.”

Bruce’s hand drifts toward one of his belt pouches, “Are you threatening me?”

“No” Kon flashes a bright smile, the one Y/N says is so wide that it ends up being creepy, “Not yet”

When Kon finally shows up at home he immediately wraps you in his arms, squeezing as tight as he dares, “I’m so sorry, Y/N, we really didn’t think he’d be there.”

“I know, doesn’t make it any easier to see him,” You pull back and give Kon a smack in the chest, “But what you did was even more stupid! You know he carries Kryptonite on him and you still wanted to go up against him!”

Kon chuckles, “I wasn’t really thinking about that at the time, ya know? I was much more concerned with getting you away from him”

Before you can respond, your cell phone starts going off, “We aren’t done with this conversation, Kon-El.”

Your husband just grinned and pressed a quick kiss to your forehead, “Go see who it is, maybe Alfred heard about today.”

“Maybe,” Before you can even pick it up the phone goes to voicemail, and immediately starts ringing again, “Hello?”

“Y/N? Y/N, is that you?” Your fathers voice trickles through the phone, “I wanted to talk about today -”

“How did you get my number?” Kon glances up from where he’s started on dinner, his head tilting – asking to listen in, you nod, “How did you get my number!? We haven’t spoken for years, and you think -”

“I’m sorry! I called to tell you that I’m sorry! Connor told me what you had been doing these past years … I didn’t realize – I didn’t realize how much I’d missed.”

“You didn’t realize that it’s been four years since we’ve had an actual conversation? You didn’t realize that I’d moved out, graduated from high school, got engaged, graduated from college, gotten married? You didn’t realized that I made a name for myself? You didn’t realize that - that Damien hates me, that Tim doesn’t think I’m smart enough to be in the family, that Dick has never trusted me? Tell me, did I miss anything, Father?”

“Y/N … I’m so sorry”

“Sorry isn’t enough! It isn’t enough for everything you and my brothers put me though!” You take a shuddering breath, trying to regain your composure. “I found my own family, one that loves me for me. I have a husband, a mother and father-in-law, a - a crazy uncle, even a grandmother now. Alfred is the only one who knew about everything that was happening, he’s the only one I still talk to consistently. Jason tries, but he’s gone on his own missions so often that we’ll go months without talking.”

“Y/N -”

“Stop interrupting damnit! I don’t want to talk to you! I don’t forgive you! And if you even want me to try it’ll a hell of lot more than you finding my phone number and randomly calling it. Now, goodbye and goodnight”

An Evening With the In-Laws: The credits rolled on, submerging the room in shadow.

Out Of An Orange Colored Sky: Tim scrambled to grapple away seconds before a flaming chunk of debris slammed into the ground where he’d been standing.

Do Me A Rudeness: The door to the gym slid open and Conner didn’t even have to look up to know his nice quiet day of solitude and relaxation was about to slip away.

Oh Brother!: ‘One day, Kon thought ruefully, ‘one day we’ll get through a date without trouble.’

A Shovel Fit For A CEO: Tim’s first observation upon waking up was, well, that he was waking up.

What's In A Name?: “Hey babe. Who’s this?”

Turnabout: There was something profoundly irritating about having your own routine performed back at you.

I think the main takeaway is that I like starting things slightly after they've started.

Friday of the 32nd Week in Ordinary Time | 17 November 2023

This Christmas, let us be ORDINARY and welcome THE ordinary.

During my high school and college days, when you go to bookstores like FullyBooked or National Bookstore, what will welcome and bombard you at the entrance are novels, particularly about LOVE. Naalala ko pa po ang unang-una kon book na nabinili noon yung Twiglight - love story of vampires.

The stories which made sense before are about love and easy-to-digest themes.

Now, if you happen to visit bookstores today, what will welcome you are shelves of SELF-HELP books! The likes of:

• Atomic Habits,

• The Daily Stoic,

• The Subtle Art of Not Giving an EF,

• 7 Habits of Highly Effective People,

• Ikigai,

• The 48 Laws of Power and the list goes on...

I read from an online article that we can surmise the rise of such titles are brought about my man's search for the SILVER BULLET - man's quest to find the simple, seemingly magical, solution to ALL his difficult problems.

We are on the look

• for that one EXTRAORDINARY MOMENT where our lives will change forver,

• for that one EXTRAORDINARY ANSWER to all our doubts and questions,

• for that one EXTRAORDINARY PERSON that will transform all the perspectives of our life.

We want to find the EASIEST WAY OUT to all our difficulties that is why we keep on looking for the extraordinay.

But experience taught us that the search for the EXTRAORDINARY is rather tiresome and sometimes depressing - KASY ANG TAGAL-TAGAL DUMATING!

So engrossed we are in this search of the extraordinary, we now fail to appreciate and find meaning in the most ordinary things in our lives.

If you listened carefully to our Gospel for today, the flood came to Noah and his people when they were eating and drinking - ordinary, day-to-day, household scenario.

How about in the days of Lot?

Fire and brimstone rained from the sky when they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, and building - ordinary, day-to-day, life in Makati.

And Jesus reminds his disciples that the same will happen when the Son of Man will be revealed - Jesus will make his presence felt, not in a very majestic, divine, and extraordinary way - The Son of Man, Jesus, will reveal himself in our lives when we are eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building, or even shopping.

A simple reminder that Jesus is in our here and now, that Jesus is among us even in the most neligible and ordinary manifestation - that his presence is not all about the goosebumps and aha experiences of our lives.

Jesus is here even if he is not felt.

And perhaps this is a good reminder for us as we near the end of our Church calendar and as we await for his arrival this Christmas - how has been your search for Jesus this year? And how are you expecting his arrival on December 25?

My dear brothers and sisters, let us be in touch in the ordinariness of our lives, appreciating the simple and little blessings we receive - though sometimes insignificant - but perhaps these little ones are ways of Jesus making his presence felt before us.

Be warned of the example in our first reading - people were rather distracted or disatisfied by what they saw when looking for God - because the things seen are fair. They are looking for grandiosity but God presented himself in simplicity

And let us open our lives as well to THE ordinary of our society. In many ways, perhaps the marginalized are often left behind is because our focus is on the grand, the deluxe, the extraordinary to the point that we neglect the ordinary people around us.

Let me remind you, according to the Gospel of Luke, the Son of Man will reveal himself in the most ordinary experiences of our lives.

Let us then prepare for Christmas by saying, "I will be ORDINARY and I will welcome THE ordinary.

Guys! I hit 100 followers! I am so thankful for all of you and I wrote you a little something as a thank you. It was an idea that literally just popped into my head tonight and I fucking love it.

In his head, it was Duke.

And yes, he knows that it wouldn’t happen.

But at night, Damian would dream about the older teen slamming him into the mattress and fucking him raw.

There were times when the teen woke up in the middle of the night sweating, writhing, on the edge of something incredible. He’d barely have to touch himself and he’d be shooting off onto his belly and chest, imagining the rough hands of the boy down the hall.

It made breakfast incredibly awkward sometimes because he’d look at Duke and remember how naked he had been in a dream the night before.

It took him about a year to grow out of that crush, and it took confiding in someone to do it. He didn’t want to talk to anyone about it, but Tim had heard him one morning while Damian was in the shower. The younger hadn’t meant to shout, but his lapse in self-control couldn’t be helped.

When he came out of the shower, Tim was sitting on his bed, flipping through his sketch pad.

“Excuse yourself.” Damian snarled, snatching the book away.

“There are a lot of pictures of Duke in there.” Tim pointed out, and Damian’s face flushed. He was lucky it was only the two of them there that morning. “Something you’d like to share with the class?”

“It is none of your business, Drake.” Damian growled, but Tim pat the spot beside him on the bed.

“Come on, I won’t tell anyone.” He said, and Damian sighed in defeat. He flopped down on the edge of the bed and tucked his hands between his knees.

“I think, perhaps, I have feelings for Thomas.” He mumbled.

“What kind of feelings?” Tim asked.

“Are you ignorant?” Damian snapped, turning to look at his brother.

“No, no, I mean, are they romantic feelings or,” Tim trailed off, not sure how to finish that sentence. “Something else.”

“I’m not sure what you mean. Are they not the same thing?” Damian asked, blinking owlishly at the man.

“Well love and lust aren’t the same thing, Damian.” Tim turned his body, bringing one leg up to rest on the bed so he could face Damian fully. “When you think about Duke, what do you think about?”

Damian blushed and turned his head away again, looking down at his lap.

“I suppose most of the time I think about his….his body.” Damian mumbled. “And touching him. Or him touching me.”

“You know, Damian, I had a crush on someone when I was young too.” Tim said. “But it wasn’t love. I wasn’t madly in love with this person, I was in lust with them.”

“I do not need to hear about your sexual fantasies-“

“And you won’t.” Tim laughed. “But you have to remember to separate the two. If you really wanted to date Duke, you’d think about doing so. You’d think about taking him out to dinner, holding his hand, maybe marrying him one day. But if all you’re thinking about is physical stuff, that just means you think he’s attractive and want to do….stuff.”

“I suppose that makes sense.”

“You’re at that age, Damian. You want to do stuff with people and have sex, but you know you’re still so young.” Tim reached out and ruffled Damian’s still damp hair, and the boy pulled away, but didn’t storm out as he once would have.

“Is it possible to get the thoughts to stop?” Damian asked.

“Not entirely. But you’ll grow out of it if that’s all it is. Sometimes if you form a good bond with that person, your mind won’t want to screw up that friendship. That’s how mine stopped.”

“Who did you have a crush on?” Damian asked cautiously. Tim laughed.

“Who do you think?” He asked before leaving the room, and Damian to his thoughts.

At one time, it was almost Jon.

In his mid-teens, he and Jon were not exactly an item, but in private they became something.

Damian thought perhaps he could love Jon in a way that was more than a friend, and at one point he thought he did. They were both 15, and they were stupidly blind.

He had Jon pinned down on the bed in his room, shirts were flung onto the floor, bodies were sweaty and breath was short.

“Damian?” Jon asked as the older boy moved down to suck hickeys into his chest.

“Hm?” He hummed, taking a nipple into his mouth. Jon moaned and ached up into Damian’s mouth. Whatever he was going to say was lost, and he let him continue down his chest to his abs then his hips where his jeans rested.

Then he found his words again.

“I don’t want to do this.” Jon blurted out, and Damian turned his gaze up at the boy. He was propping himself up in his elbows, blowing hair out of his eyes.

“No?”

“No.” He shook his head. “I’ve been thinking.”

Damian sighed and sat back on Jon’s thighs. The taller teen sat up, resting his hands on Damian’s jean-clad thighs.

“About?”

“Well, about sex and stuff. And I don’t think I’m ready for it.” Jon shook his head.

“I understand. We don’t have to have sex.” Damian nodded. “There are other things we could do if you’re ready for those.”

“Well that’s the thing. I don’t know if I am. Shouldn’t we be doing this with someone we’re in love with?” Jon asked, looking up into Damian’s icy blue eyes.

“I thought that you were perhaps in love with me.” He mumbled, blinking. He had thought that maybe this meant they were more than friends, and that meant they were in love, right?

“I mean, I love you. But I don’t think I’m in love with you, Damian. I mean, we’re not really a couple or anything. Don’t we have to date to fall in love?”

“I didn’t think so. I thought that what we do is love.” Damian said, putting a hand on Jon’s chest. “You’re very special to me. I thought I was the same to you.”

“You are, Damian. You’re my best friend. But I think that’s what we’re best at is being best friends. I don’t think being boyfriends would work for us. I’m sorry.” Jon explained, wrapping his hand around Damian’s.

“I suppose I understand.” Damian nodded, eyes downcast. “Perhaps it is best you leave.”

“Damian-“

“I want to be alone right now.” The older explained. He leaned forward for a small kiss on Jon’s cheek, then he got up and scooped his shirt up into his arms and fled the room, leaving the super thoroughly confused.

He ran down the hall to Tim’s room, not even bothering to knock, just throwing the door open. He was lucky that Tim was seated at his desk working and not on the bed where Kon was tossing a ball around using his TTK.

“Damian! The rules are you knock-“ Tim started to scold as he turned around, but he stopped when he saw his flushed face and watery eyes. “Are you okay?”

“Of course not, you amoeba!” Damian shouted, struggling into his t-shirt. Tim sighed and got up, helping to straighten out the twisted shirt and pull the hem down until it was on right, then Damian flung himself into Tim’s arms.

“Okay, I’ll overlook the amoeba thing since you’re upset about something.” Tim said, brushing Damian’s hair back. He wasn’t quite as tall as Tim yet, but he was getting there, his face buried in Tim’s neck. “Did you want to talk about it?”

Damian stepped back, wiping his eyes, and he nodded. Tim ushered him to sit on the edge of the bed between him and a very concerned Kon.

“When did you two start engaging in sexual intercourse?” Damian asked with a sniff. Tim and Kon exchanged a look behind the boy.

“Why do you want to know?” Tim asked cautiously.

“I am curious.” Damian shrugged and rubbed his nose with the back of his hand.

“Well, I guess I was maybe,” Tim paused to think, “sixteen? I wasn’t much older than you.”

“And were you in love?”

“Of course. Conner and I have been in love for a long time.” Tim nodded. “Why all of the questions all of a sudden?”

“Jon and I are, or were, something of a couple. Or at least I thought.” Damian sighed.

“Damian, please tell me you didn’t-“

“No, no, we did not have sex.” Damian shook his head. “We never got that far.”

“Good.” Tim breathed a sigh of relief. “So what happened with Jon?”

“I wanted to have sex. But he said he wanted to wait to have sex with someone he was in love with and that he and I should remain friends.” Damian explained, flopping back on the bed.

“Do you love him?”

“Of course I do. I love him a lot.” Damian shot back up into a sitting position, feeling Kon’s warm hand rubbing his back.

“Are you in love with him?” Tim asked gently.

“I thought so.” Damian sniffed, leaning his head on Tim’s shoulder. “I wanted to be.”

“I know this is hard, but I don’t think you’re in love with Jon.” Tim shook his head and wrapped an arm around Damian’s shoulder. “I think you love him, but being in love with someone is very different. I love you. But I’m in love with Conner.”

“How am I supposed to know what it feels like to be in love?”

“If you’re not sure if you’re in love, then you’re not in love.” Kon spoke up, and Damian turned his damp face towards the meta. “It’s a sure thing. And you feel it in every cell in your body.”

“Kon is right, Damian. Remember how we talked about how love and lust were different?” Damian nodded. “Well you do love Jon. But you’re also in lust with him. Not love.”

“I do love him.” Damian sniffed and turned to bury his face in Tim’s chest again, feeling more tears well up in his eyes.

“I know you do.” Tim nodded, cradling the teen in his arms. “You’re experiencing your first heart break.”

“It is not pleasant.”

“No it’s not.” Tim chuckled. “But it goes away, with time. You’ll realize you weren’t in love, and one day you’ll know what being in love really feels like.”

And one day he would.

Finally, when he was 17, it was Colin.

He was hunched over the redhead, both of them panting and moaning as Damian tried his best to open him. They had never attempted before, and this was new ground for both of them.

“I want you, Dames.” Colin gasped as Damian brushed his prostate. “Please?”

“Of course, Beloved.” Damian said, leaning down to give the boy a gentle kiss. He positioned himself, getting ready to experience something like he had never felt before.

“I love you, Damian.” Colin said, his face flushed and pupils blown.

“I love you too, Colin.” Damian whispered, and then he started to push in little by little, letting Colin adjust to the size difference. “Are you alright, Beloved?”

“Just don’t move for a minute.” Colin breathed, clenching a few times experimentally.

“Colin,” Damian moaned, closing his eyes. When he opened them for a moment, he caught Colin’s gaze. “I’m in love with you.”

“I’m in love with you too, Dames.” Colin said, bringing his arms up to wrap around Damian’s neck. “I’m ready.”

And then Damian’s hips snapped.

“Oh, hey, Damian.” Tim said as he strode into the kitchen. He set down the box he was carrying on the counter and observed Damian. He was making a sandwich. “Whatcha doing?”

“I’m making a grilled cheese. Would you like one?” The teen asked, and Tim thought he was hearing things.

“I’m sorry, did you just offer me food out of the kindness of your heart?” Tim asked, dramatically putting a hand over his chest. “Am I dead? Is this hell?”

“I am simply being gracious.” Damian rolled his eyes at the jest. “And this would be heaven, not hell.”

“Someone’s in a good mood today.” Tim leaned over the kitchen island across from Damian. “What’s the occasion?”

“Am I not allowed to be in a good mood?”

“No way, you’re my broody little brother.” Tim said, reaching out to poke Damian’s nose. The younger laughed. “Are you really Damian? Either way I’m keeping you, but I just want to know.”

“Very funny, Drake.” Damian rolled his eyes as he plated the first sandwich and passed it to Tim. It was then that the older noticed a dark mark poking out from the collar of Damian’s shirt.

“Well lookie there, someone’s got a little love bite.” Tim said, taking a bite out of his sandwich.

“Perhaps I do.” Damian smirked and pointed with his spatula. “What is it to you?”

“So that’s why you’re in such a good mood.” Tim said through a mouthful of scalding hot cheese. He set his sandwich down and walked around the island to sit on the counter beside the stove. “Does someone want to tell me something?”

“It is possible that Colin and I engaged in sexual intercourse for the first time last night.” Damian said, his cheeks burning.

“Oh my god, Damian!” Tim leapt off of the counter. “You and Colin had sex?”

Damian laughed and nodded.

“My baby brother isn’t a virgin anymore.” Tim said, fanning his face. “Come give me a hug.”

“Ugh.” Damian groaned and rolled his eyes, but he let Tim hug him anyways.

“So what happened? Tell me about it.” Tim said, stepping back from the hug.

“I’m in love with him.” Damian nodded. “And he is in love with me.”

“Awww, Damian.” Tim gushed, putting his hand on his chest again. “I told you it’d happen one day.”

“I appreciate the talks you have given me.” Damian said as he plated the second sandwich. “It is unfortunate that you no longer live here, we don’t talk as often.”

“Aw, does someone miss me?” Tim asked, ruffling Damian’s hair. The teen chuckled and pushed his hand away. “But seriously, you ever want to talk, call me. I’ll come over, or you come stay at my apartment, we’ll talk all night.”

“I would enjoy that.” Damian said as he picked up the plate. “It will have to wait though. I am bringing this to Colin.”

“Oh, lunch in bed, how romantic.” Tim said, taking another bite of his sandwich.

“On some level, yes, but it would be more romantic if he could walk.” Damian said as he rounded the corner out of the kitchen, giving a little smirk. Tim dropped his sandwich back onto his plate.

“Damian!”

B!!!!!! Oh my god!! You have such a big, beautiful brain!!!!!! I've never even thought about Jon and Damian being Flamebird and Nightwing before, and it's so *chefs kiss*

Bruce, Diana, and Clark are such an iconic group, even if Bruce's out of the game. They're all exceptionally proud of their proteges, and seeing their youngests all get together is probably. A little surprising, but in a pleasant way.

I can imagine Clark, resting a steady hand on Bruce's shoulder "Looks like we're doing this again, huh?" because Tim and Conner have been or are a thing. And Diana is so soft, because she can see how much love lingers in every touch the three share.

Kon- “I don’t think it works that way.”

Cass- “you should think more about how we’re now related to Wonder Woman.”

Steph- “my ex boyfriend’s AND current girlfriend’s little brother is gonna be related to Wonder Woman AND superman.”

Jason- “this is why I date people from an entirely different city. Youz guys are trying to make this family tree a fucking circle.”

Dick- “you slept with my ex fiancé Kori and are currently dating my ex boyfriend Roy.”

Duke- “Damn bro. That’s tough.”

Steph- “for Dick or Jason?”

Jason- “definitely Dickhead. Especially since Barbara slept-“

Damian- “can we get back to my engagement party???”

You and Jon wave back at the family from the buffet table. “Dami, join us,” you asked and Damian gave his siblings a glare before jogging over. You and Jon hugged him on each side as Clark and a photographer Bruce hired took photons. Friends and family stood around proud of the three. Diana pulled all three of you into a hug.

Diana- “This is most exciting. When can we expect you three to start having children?”

Chaos. Just chaos as the Batfamily started talking all at once. Damian froze as if made of ice and Jon stammered out incoherently. You simply smiled.

“As soon as possible,” you said with a smile.

Bruce passed out.

I'm hoping now that Tim has Bernard we get to see Steph romancing someone new too! Tim has had plenty of love interests over the years, but Steph has only ever really (canonically) had 2? Tim and Useless Dean.

But there are so many DELIGHTFUL options available to her!!!

Cass: The Most obvious, I don't think I need to convince anyone of this. Prime time FemSlash right there. I'd say "most iconic" but Harley and Ivy exist.

Kara: They only had a few issues shared back in her Batgirl days but the chemistry was strong! They're both young, a little reckless, got some trauma in their past and also look GOOD TOGETHER on the covers. Plus we haven't had a Bat/Super since Cass/Kon was a thing for 2 issues. This would be a nice place to actually explore such a relationship

Cassie: Look, okay maybe dating someone who had a crush on your Ex is a bad idea... but Steph has a LOT of bad ideas an maybe this one would actually work long term? The drama would be fun to watch at least! AND as far as I am aware we haven't had ANY Amazon/Bat relationships yet? Since Dick and Donna were pretty much solidly BFFs with no sexual tension unless you wanted it to be there. Plus can you IMAGINE Steph and Zeus meeting? Zeus being her Grandpa-in-law? Sooooooo many opportunities for stories right there!!!

Harper: A more obvious modern choice, but omg AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES!!!! Date Nights would be fun, and they have some shared trauma going on there plus a mutual crush on Catwoman.

Jason: Look, okay. I know what you're gonna say, but in the OG Time Line Jason is the same age as Cass and thus only one year older than Steph. I don't know what age he is now, or what age Steph is, but I think the answer is "however old they need to be". Dead Robin Club is already pretty great, so why not expand on it some more? There's also the fun time drama of Stephanie dating her ex's older brother. It's not my FAVOURITE option, but it's one I think has some potential.

Conner Hawke: So, I know this one is pretty niche, but they HAVE met before and she DID have a little flirty flirt with him! Current Conner has his whole dark league of Shadows backstory going on, and I think having him end up with Steph would bring some much needed light into his life. We might also get to see more Bat + Arrow interaction which I am always a fan of. Also it would annoy Damian SO DAMN MUCH and I live for Steph + Damian interactions. Plus it's still not heteronormative because you gotta remember that Loving Vs Virginia was only 1967!

EDIT: I wrote this before it was revealed that Conner is Asexual! And whilst I am absolutely still down for Ace Rep in Romantic Relationships, I fully appreciate if people would rather Steph stay away from him lol

Kon: It would be funny. That's it. That's the only reason. Tim comes out as Bi but it's Steph who gets with Kon. Hilarious.

IDK Some New Person: Hey! New characters are always welcome in the BatFam! Why can't she have a civilian to date? I think that's what she deserves, most of all. Let Steph lead a normal life for once. I mean, yeah I guess that's what Tim and Bernard have going on but equally it's nice to have some parallels in place, you know?
