All participants expressed various feelings of connection with our device. P1, P2, P4, and P5 all described it as a little friend and/or pet. P2 expressed, “it’s always good to be accompanied by some living creature, I really like different, animals or plants. (. . .) carrying this little friend also made me feel happy and peaceful”. P4 noted that she would be reminded by the slime mold’s presence by its smell, even stating that it felt endearing, “my cat’s kind of have a smell, dogs have a smell, the physarum, I recognize the smell and it smells kind of, organic, it’s kind of yeasty but not like decaying, it smells alive”. In recalling an experience where she had to take a long drive, P4 explained, “oh, I gotta bring my little pet mold friend, during the drive, I was also thinking about how I used to be really into Tamagotchis (. . .) with the physarum, (. . .) it has this smell to it which your Tamagotchis don’t have, it has a sense of physicality, (. . .) they’re definitely different”. P1 stated that their personal care routine ended up linked to the device’s care routine “I think every time I fed myself is when I would remember to at least check it, I think that was actually quite linked”. While she was sick, P5’s partner helped take care of her as well as helped to take care of her device. P5 recounts, “I was taking care of the slime and feeding it oats and stuff, my partner was also feeding me oatmeal because I was sick and so she was like you’re my little slime and I was like yeah, I am (. . .) then she started calling me her slime because I mean me and the slime, like, we were eating the same stuff, (. . .) we were both being fed and watered”. P2 & P4 also stated that the visual appearance of their device affected their mood. P2 explained that growth made them feel refreshed. P4 associated the bright yellow of the physarum with happy feelings, noting this affective quality several times in her diary entries and in her interview.

The big announcement is finally here, and Bandai has not disappointed! Bandai has officially globally announced the Tamagotchi Uni! Uni stands for Unique, Unite, and Universal. Let’s talk software.
The Tamagotchi Uni is truly global, as you boot the device you’ll be asked which language you would like to use. Supporting the global release, languages supported are English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese all one on device!
First, on the Tamagotchi Uni you will raise a Uni Tama that’s one-of-a-kind, inside and out! A UniTama is a Tamagotchi character you can rate to be completely unique. There are unique personalities that your UniTama can have, including shy, energetic, chill, and spoiled.
Next are favorite things, you can place items in your room, and if your UniTama likes them, playtime might be more fun! The animations are just adorable. Fashion & Furniture, you can style your Tamagotchi with the cutest accessories. Arrange your very own room to give your unique Tamagotchi character a beautiful home, truly unique!
There’s even a crafts feature! Gather DIY instructions and materials to create accessories in your favorite colors. You obtain these instructions and materials using the Tama Walk feature.
The Tama Walk feature uses the built-in pedometer similar to the Tamagotchi Smart. Your Tamagotchi will be able to collect craft materials and instructions through a walk. Several images show that you can walk in several different locations and collect items, you’ll find a bunch in just a 20-minute walk!
Tamagotchi Uni is all about uniting. There are many ways to connect and play with friends! Raise your UniTama’s together. When using the connect features, a Wi-Fi symbol will appear in the upper left-hand corner of the Tamagotchi Uni.
First, you can play by connecting Tamagotchi Uni devices together, and your friends Tamagotchi will be added to the built-in friends list.

Third, you can craft together. Trade materials and make items together.

Let’s talk hardware.
The Tamagotchi Uni features a watch strap so that you can wear it on your wrist like a watch, or you can play with Tamagotchi Uni outside of the strap like a traditional Tamagotchi. Available in two different shell colors that are both very vibrant, unique, and feature a translucent back.
The Tamagotchi Uni uses a built-in lithium polymer battery that is rechargeable using the included USB-C cable. Long gone are the days of needing to use AAA batteries.
The pink shell features a pink Tamagotchi Uni body where the wavy design around the screen is green and blue. It also features blue translucent buttons, back, and buckles on the strap.

The Tamagotchi Uni you purchase anywhere around the globe will be the same device, but the packaging will differ. I had a dream where there was this nerdy store in town that had stuff like cosplay gear and giant diamond paintings for some reason. Anyway, they had a whole section for virtual pets and I was oogling it because I've always wanted a Tamagotchi (There were no Tamagotchis). On that shelf, for some reason, was a game that was presented like a virtual pet (small console with only some basic buttons) called "In Your Dreams". It took place on a tropical island and the premise of the game was that you check up on it every day, ala a lot of mobile games. But the game takes place within a dream, so one day it can be a fun happy dream vacation, and another day it can be a horrible disturbing nightmare - cue vivid body horror on a bird. Also, somehow this game had access to licensed characters, because the little trailer that was playing was like "See who shows up completely out of character." Link walks across the screen. Dream me goes "Oh hi Link." in the Tommy Wiseau tone of voice.
I am endlessly intrigued by my subconscious creating a meta video game about dreaming, and dream me would have bought it but my sibling was very against it.
Also later on I dreamt Cr1tikal won the Great British Bake Off and got arrested.

Brainstorming Fragile Life mechanics. Gonna go on a rant about these ideas.
So the concept is the tamagotchis are linked to the players lives. Players have to keep them healthy in order to keep their current life. Players have daily quests to fulfill to keep their tamagotchis healthy, failure to do so drops them down a colour.
I also am tinkering with the idea of a sabotage boogey mechanic where maybe once a week a boogey is selected, if the boogey successfully stops the completion of another player's mandatory quest they gain a life going up a colour. Failure to sabotage gives them a harder task the next day which basically just increases their odds of dropping a life. (might make it a more common occurrence but don't wanna make it too unfair)
I've also been thinking of who may team with who. Pearl and Gem. Lizzie, Grian and Jimmy. Scott, Tango and Scar. Cleo and Impulse.
Players without a team really are Etho, Martyn and Joel.
I wanna play around with Watchers and Listeners stuff. Maaaybe Speakers? I'd wanna play around with the idea that none of them really have the players interests at heart, like where Watchers its obvious cause of the games, Listeners its subtle like swaying the players to purposefully mess with the games. Like the players are just pawns in the little war behind the scenes. If I do Speakers they'd be somewhere in the middle, they'd be openly honest about the fact they aren't there to help you for your own benefit but still lend a hand from time to time for their own personal gains.
I think like in Martyn lore, Watchers eat negative emotions. I would lean towards the Listeners liking every emotion and not wanting to limit it but still wanting to control it when they're in the mood for something more specific. Speakers would probably be like, I wouldn't say positive emotions, but more chaotic. Stuff like the joy and excitement players get from pulling off a trap or something, a malicious joy if that makes any sense.
I don't really have their goals in mind yet, Watchers is easy cause I'll just lean towards Martyn lore and that meaning technically their goals are currently being achieved successfully but now the other parties want in on it in their own way.
There'd be one player to each being. So if there's only Watchers and Listeners that's gonna be Grian and Martyn. I've also decided that these specific type of players lean a bit towards the side of the beings they're assigned to for one reason or another. Example being maybe Grian siding with Watchers cause despite not agreeing with them he may find their games to be a safer option than what the others have planned.
That's about all I got right now.

Malleus' tamagotchi. A theory.
A theory that i haven't seen talked about a lot. {personally}
Going through pinterest and searching random stuff, i would eventually fall into TWST meme posts and more.
One of them is Malleus holding his tamagotchi, "Roaring Drago"/ "Gao-Gao Drakon-Kun" and something saying about it being an easter egg. This includes the comments explaining that a tamagotchi's life lasts 12 days at most. After it ends, you will get a new egg/respawn.
I can't find this currently. But i give credit to the pinterest post for this.
So, welcome to the tamagotchi theory. A blab since i was bored and don't have other twst fans to talk to.
TW: Unedited, English is still not my first language, poor grammar, poor punctuation, possibility of missed information, spoilers, I am only caught up to chapter six on lore. Haven't played it the past few months.
Through the comments, it had spoke about Malleus possibly restarting the world. Just so then he wouldn't have to see Lilia go away or humans such as Yuu, Sebek, or Silver pass on. I'm saying Sebek since he is half human half fae. Therefore, even as i am unknown of his life span, would most likely have a shorter span than Malleus since it seems that he is growing by human years and stages.

It would make sense if Sebek Zigvolt had a life span longer than humans yet shorter than faes.
Other than that, we go to Yuu. It is known that Yuu may have a chance to get back. Even then, It doesn't matter, teh reaction will still stay teh same. Even if Yuu stays, they will age on since Yuu is a human. If Yuu were to stay in Twisted Wonderland with no way back, then Yuu would also die in twisted wonderland from age or other means.
We can delve into the Yuu and Malleus relationship as well.
Described as having a "...powerful aura that wards away most people from approaching him."
More may have been described as:
"...doesn’t get too friendly as he speaks, his calm, respectful yet cold tone always remaining and even those who want to get closer to him (like Silver or Sebek) fail to do as much as they wish to."
"Malleus himself does not interact closely with other students beyond Lilia, Silver, and Sebek... this is mostly due to others being scared and avoiding him."
"Despite enjoying time alone, away from his concerned and watchful attendants in exploring abandoned buildings, Malleus shows signs of loneliness and a desire to connect normally with others."
This description of him depicts of how lonely he is always as way of communication. Yuu was one of the people to introduce themselves calmly to Malleus. Even having the choice to call him a nickname, showing that how he hides his name is another way to show how he knows that people fear him. Yuu is as well the first to treat him without a sense of caution. Still treating Malleus as a friend even after being informed of him and who he is. It is safe to say he is quite friendly with Yuu.
As much as we wish TWST was an Otome, although the characters act differently (ex.Malleus, Rook, etc.) But, we can still say that They are still friendly.
With this, Malleus may have a tendency to be attached to such people in his close ad small friend group.

I bring this up since I am as well afraid everyone i know may leave some day. Malleus is afraid of that as well seeing how he reacted to Lilia leaving and Yuu having the possibility to go home.
This is all for now since i have lost my train of thought. This may become a Repost thread, idk. I blabbed and blabbed. This is just a dump of everything in my brain.

"No Sun Haven Credits" Update
Gonna try to keep this short because there's been no response from Pixel Sprout, but I want to say, from the bottom of my heart: thank you.
I wasn't really expecting my Tumblr post to gain much traction. Hardcore gamers are notoriously bad at caring about the working conditions on their favorite games, so I expected it to be passed around for a short while and then forgotten.
What actually happened was that the post continues to gain a small but steady number of notes, two months later. I've had several people message me about it, too. Most importantly, I've lurked in their discord and I've seen so many of you taking up the torch and really pressing the devs to credit their artists and developers, and I want you to know that it makes me incredibly happy to see how much you all care about this. Pixel Sprout has no idea how much of a wonderful, kind and compassionate fandom they've built, but I see you and deeply appreciate you.
I hope, sincerely, that you can still find enjoyment in Sun Haven, no matter how souring of a situation this is. Please continue to create art and fanfiction for Wesley in specific because he's my favorite design @bugbearstew did for the game. I hope that the pressure grows high enough to add credits soon and that those still working on the game find the task a little less difficult.

Izanami's three qualities
Izanami has a line where she associates the protag, Adachi and Namatame with the qualities of despair, emptiness, and hope.
I recall reading different opinions of who is what. For example: Namatame thought he could save people (hope), the protag is a blank slate (emptiness, starting from tarot 0 as part of the Fool's journey), and Adachi was not in a good place mentally after being shunted to Inaba (despair).
But I think the emptiness part is more like "emptiness (derogatory)".
When you max out Adachi's new social link for Golden, you're given the ability to fuse Unwashed Magatsu Izanagi and he's given the title of "Tempter of the Void". This sounds appropriately edgelord and chuuni for something that's related to Adachi. The word that was translated as "the void" is kyomu, which is the "emptiness" that comes up when Izanami talks about her 3 Tamagotchis.
But this bit where Magatsu Izanagi gets a title was only added for Golden and is part of Adachi's max rank social link. When Persona 4 first came out, there was no Adachi social link - just that line from Izanami about how she chose 3 people, each representing something different.
With Adachi's Persona's fancy schmancy title implying that he was slotted as the emptiness guy, Namatame and the protag seem like auto-fills for the roles as the despair and hope guys respectively. Namatame could really be either depending on your perspective. With the protag, I don't think there's any angle where you can argue the protagonist represents despair outside of the bad endings. But by the time he reaches Izanami and this dialogue is used, the protagonist is definitely hope.

First look at Season 3!!!
“Cool! Humans freak out just like us!”
I can only wonder what the context of that line is, probably some horror movie and/or Camila watching one, or some kids’ reaction to Halloween ‘costumes’ by the gang! The flip-phone and headphones look modified with tech, is this the kids’ attempt to contact those in the Demon Realm? Did Amity pick up her dad’s skills to invent? Will they use Demon tech like the tamagotchi (we did see her tinker with it) in the hopes of creating a link?
Also, BI FLAG PIN FOR LUZ!!! At first I wondered if this would just be a temporary fixture added by the crew to spite Disney...
But if we look at the official art for S3, Luz’s head is turned in such a way that it hides any potential pins! Which suggests that the pins ARE permanent, Luz is constantly going to remind us she’s bi just by appearance alone! And I gotta hand it to Dana, that’s clever positioning the angle so that we don’t see the pins; Not only is it a reveal hiding in plain sight, but I’m sure it was their way to compromise with Disney and not wanting this too prevalent in their advertising! In celebration of the new episode tomorrow (that will probably make us all collectively loose our shits) I offer a List of half-assed head-cannons that I made while fighting of a single melatonin tablet:
Link is obviously the tallest, around 6’3 I believe. Scary is pretty average height, about 5’9 but she always rounds up. Hermie is 5’5 but frequently wears heeled shoes when he needs too. Normal is 5’3 and had to re-sew the legs of the teeny costume because they were too long and he kept eating shit while cheerleading. And Taylor is of course short with no remorse at a whole 5’1 and we love him for that.
Scary Listens to Creep By RadioHead and says something along the lines of “Modern music just doesn’t hit the same anymore…���
Taylor’s favorite Studio Ghibli movie isn’t Totoro, It’s spirited away. I have no reasoning for this it just works in my mind.
All the teens are definitely neurodivergent coded, therefore I’m taking that and running with it. Link is autistic and probably has some form of anxiety. (Just like me fr)
Mae Hales cuts her own hair and it looks fucking amazing.
When Normal was younger the only kids TV show he was allowed to watch was Bluey.
Taylor has a Tamagotchi and is terrible at keeping it alive

Hermie, at multiple different theater companies, has played the cowardly Lion, scarecrow, and Tin-man in the wizard of Oz
Assuming everything goes fine and dandy and the world doesn’t completely explode, following the events of this season the Kids still play TTRPGS weekly.

For reals, you all need to stop shitting on Jungkook. I love Jimin with all my heart and I didn’t see Jungkook treating him bad. You all act like Jimin would allow that. You seriously haven't understood Jimin at all. He is not this weak minded person. He is petty af and will cut you off his life, if necessary.
If Jungkook is still around Jimin, it is because Jimin still allows him to be. And the same applies for Jimin being present in Jungkook's life.
You all act like this is a toxic relationship and it's not. Jikook is not like that. They are not a perfect couple but they are not a toxic couple or a couple where Jk mistreats Jimin.
I'm not here to gaslight you or convince you. If you are not convinced with Jikook, cool. No one is forcing you to be in a Jikooker or support Jikook. They don't need the support because with us or without us, Jikook happens either way.
Jimin and Jungkook are 2 very real human beings who won't act according to what you desire just to keep you entertained and your fantasies fulfilled.
If you want to manage someone to that degree, go buy a Tamagotchi Tiny Tan edition.

(I’m a scare actor) Team Bolas goes to Haunted Attractions together every Autumn and each of them are little babies about it in different ways (I have ideas about what types of customers they’d be for the scare actors omg)
In the Bolas Minecraft server they have builds that relate to Jrwi and Ordem Paranormal (like Cellbit’s castle in canon) (I have no idea how that’d work with Bagi)
BBQ’s with Foolish and his big family just. Are chaos incarnate
Slime and Baghera once got really really into karaoke at a hotel and got a noise complaint

My '97 gen 2 Tama came in the mail today. Was just gonna toss it in the drawer until I felt like running it, but it came with batteries still in. So I wanted to experiment.
Top is the '97 Tamagotchi. They tend to have actual chains with key rings at the top. The modern remakes have ball link chains. Easiest way to tell them apart.
So, you can see the middle one's screen is absolute garbage when viewed straight on. That's a 2017 release. You can usually tell because they still have the 90's logo... which sucks because I'm nostalgic for the 90's logo with it's scratchy writing, the original color pencil drawing look of vintage USA Tamagotchi was a big part of the appeal to me. But I digress... the one on the bottom is an updated model, which you can see has a better screen, and an updated logo....
if you want a Tamagotchi original but don't want to search E-bay for a classic one that's under the 20 bucks you would pay in stores, or you hate LR44 batteries, get one with the new logo.
I will say the 90's model feels a lot more sturdy, the screen is better, though mine seems to have a ghost pixel effect when I tilt it, I chalk that up to this device's age. And the sound is WAY better, not nearly as loud and piercing as the remakes, and both models have that problem... the one downside the 90's model has besides it's LR44 batteries is that menu navigating is slower. You can't speed through options the way you could on digimon or modern tamagotchi. But that's such a minor annoyance.
Well... I'm gonna feel compelled to get a gen 1 90's model now. But I have to stay myself and wait a while, I've already spent way too much this month. Besides, I don't think i'll be running a Tamagotchi any time soon, except for my Angel, which is my annual christmas device.
