the problem of the matter is i did internalize so much of what ex friend believed about me. even though i knew he was wrong and knew what was happening and tried to stop it and if i took more action to stop it would have been abusing power i held in a way i couldn't live with myself for.
#A BAD PERSON TRYING TO RUIN YOUR LIFE WOULD'VE GOTTEN YOU FIRED AND EVICTED IN WINTER IN ALASKA YOU MOTHERFUCKER. WHICH I DID NOT DO#he was renting a room from my dad. for cheaper than he wouldve been able to find anywhere else. his brother was too#his brother didn't pay rent for over 6 months and my dad just forgave him the debt because my dad knew how much of a difference it wouldve#made when he was that age. and i had told him ex friend was family to me & my dad applied that to the brother too. bc he is a good person.#and one of the strongest parts of my support system. and i didn't say a word to him about what was happening until i knew he already had a#plan for when he would be ending ex friend's lease. so there would be no subconscious impact on ex friend's housing either#mgmt at work straight up asked me if i thought ex friend should be fired immediately multiple times and i'm in retrospect livid they put me#in that position but told them to go by the strike system in the employee handbook and to follow policy that ex friend knew perfectly. that#it couldn't be on me as acting assistant manager to choose#and after 10 months of workplace harassment i got a different job to save my life. ex friend didn't get fired.#he did saw trap shit to my brain!!!!!! jesus christ#he moved cross country to live with his long time gf he called his wife despite never having met irl. to a way more conservative state.#despite being gay. and she left him this summer lol#hadn't checked his twitter in over a year when it got pulled up frm an old link and i saw that. and when he was already at a low point too#me voice. oh no who could've seen this coming. from how you behave in every relationship in your life#may delete this in the morning. but i have to talk about it sometimes#i'm never reaching out for closure both bc he wouldn't give me any and because i know it would trigger him and i don't intentionally trigge#people. unlike him :)#vampire pit#like. i have to talk about it sometimes. i have to talk about it.#jam posts

What progress at home has biden enacted? What policies of his show that he is making progress that prove he is actually different than trump?
I like to pretend I have faith in humanity, so I'll answer as if you're asking this in good faith.
Biden's DEA has lifted restrictions on telehealth prescriptions to make appointments and assistance more accessible.
He put a funding package into place to help unhoused people get access to mental and physical healthcare, as well as short-term and long-term housing.
He has attempted and is still attempting to get student debt relief through - this was blocked by Republican judges appointed by Trump, but he's still working on it.
Infrastructure repair - his administration has budgeted funds to actually fix some severely-damaged and frequently-traveled bridges.
Trying to expand access to healthcare to include undocumented immigrants who came to the USA as children (Dreamers) under the Affordable Care Act. Support for Navigator programs and outreach has also been increased.
He has vetoed Republican-led bills that were attempting to overturn environmental protections - one that would have forbidden investment fund managers to consider climate change in their portfolios (I have two degrees in accounting and this is actually huge), and another that would have overturned restrictions on agricultural runoff into our waterways.
He and his administration worked for ages to get rail workers paid sick days.
This is just some of what he's been doing. Meanwhile, Trump and other Republicans want to criminalize the lives of LGBT people like you and me. They want to eliminate no-fault divorce and force births that will kill parents or devastate them financially. They have stated flat out that they want to install a military dictatorship in the USA. They attempted to put that in motion on January 6th, 2021. They failed once. They will do better next time.
One party wants to house the homeless and expand social safety nets, while the other one wants to criminalize homelessness. One of them wants a future in which I might be able to vote to change how much of a war machine my country is, while the other one wants to eliminate my ability to vote entirely. Those are not the same. Those literally are opposites.
At the end of the day, all you and I can do is choose to do the least amount of harm possible. You and I cannot choose to do no harm. This is the USA, we sell war, you and I cannot choose to do no harm. I wish we could, my god do I wish we could, but that is not an option. So we grieve for the harm we couldn't eliminate and work to minimize the harm that is done. Despite all the crap they support, Democrats are the minimum amount of harm right now. Acting like they aren't is exactly what brought us to an election where our options are a future where we are either wading in blood or drowning in it.
Not voting for Biden will not help Palestine. Not voting for Biden will guarantee a Republican president who will make the situation in Palestine WORSE. AND it'll hurt a lot of other places as well, both at home and abroad, because Republicans are about business and the USA is in the business of war! And I would very much like that to change someday! I would very much like to someday be able to choose to do no harm! And I know what I have to do to try for that future, so what are YOU going to do? There is no standing off to the side in this. If you aren't helping pull, you're the dead weight we're pulling. Are you going to dig your feet into the mud and blood and drown us there? Or are you going to get the fuck off your ass, grit your teeth, and help us pull free?

Idk if Sex doll!au Alhaitham has been discussed yet…(honestly it probably has been, but it was likely during the times when I wasn’t keeping up to date with this blog. Tumblr’s shitty search function doesn’t help with finding out either.)
Anyway, I’d like to share my thoughts about it, if that’s okay.
-I think sex doll! Alhaitham would mostly be for professional and academic purposes. He’s not reccomended for younger grades, mostly just colleges.
-His general purposes are office/administrative related. Especially since he’s a “scribe”, he’s especially good at file management and documentation. I don’t think it be uncommon to see him assisting librarians alongside a Lisa model…or maybe helping archeologists/museums workers catalogue info about artifacts.
-I think his way of not doing anything more than what his job asks of him would stay even as an Android. I know that as a product, he’d probably wouldn’t be given leeway or time off like that; but the thought of someone trying to assign tasks to Alhaitham that are outside his designated role being ignored by him is funny to me.
-if Alhaitham is acting as a companion doll in someone’s home, I can only imagine that he’s incredibly annoying. Alhaitham normally chooses to ignore social etiquette, and as an android it has to be even worse.
tw - unhealthy relationships, slight infantilization, slight stalking.
i think he'd absolutely be marketed toward researchers as a sort of lab assistant who acts like you're the lab assistant, if that makes sense. he specializes in archival work and bureaucracy, but he's a bit of a jack-of-all-trades and it's not uncommon to see him alongside more outdoorsy androids like cyno and albedo when you're out doing fieldwork. he's also especially loved by students for his,,, strict attitude toward studying. you wouldn't think the ability to say 'i'm not touching your dick until you finish your thesis' would be such a popular feature in a literal sex doll, but, y'know, what does it for you does it for you, i guess.
you're not a student, though, or a researcher - just a librarian for a big enough branch to warrant writing off a helper android as a business expense. you probably could've gotten away with bringing on lisa or nahida, but you were able to find a second-hand alhaitham for a price you couldn't turn up and figured dealing with the occasional comment on your organization skills or catalog maintenance was better than wasting an extra thousand dollars on a robot that'll be reading to children twice a week. he works well enough, too, even if it does take a few days for him to get used to the idea that you won't be using him for his, uh, intended purposes. it just doesn't feel right, considering he's basically one of your employees - something he's surprisingly indifferent about, considering how judgemental he's rumored to be about, well, everything.
you do take him home at night, though, since the alternative is leaving him in a dark building alone all night and trying to live with the guilt. he's a polite enough houseguest, even if does occasionally let out a disapproving huff at your admittedly less-than-steller diet, but he does have a few... bugs, you guess, for lack of something better to call his little lapses in decorum. he's overstepped his boundaries a few times - taking pens and reports out of your hands because you 'have a tendency to mess these things up', checking on you in the middle of the night when he's supposed to be charging - but he'll never indulge your attempts to confront him, just clicking his tongue and shaking his eyes. sometimes, he brings up your stress levels, mentions off-handedly that orgasms are known to reduce overall tension, but denies that he's done anything wrong when you ask him to change his behavior. he's good at that - justifying himself, bending his protocols until he can get away with practically anything. you'd be lying if you said you weren't a little worried, knowing the awful rumors that spread about second-hand andriods, about how demeaning alhaitham can be when he's supposed to be little more than a platonic assistant.
you'd be lying if you said you weren't a little worried that, one day, he'd find a way to justify disregarding your autonomy altogether.

Simon Ghost Riley
Tumblr media
summary: "In the depths of his being, he eluded your grip. For the first time in an eternity, he allowed himself to pursue it, to chase after its essence, and to surrender his very core to its consuming power."
warnings: poetic?, sfw, simon is a mysterious man
notes: happy two months to this account!! tysm for everyone who helped me make it this far, ily <3
don't judge this fic, first time writing about our silly ghost, hope it matched his character.. I'd appreciate any advices about him <3
✧・゚: *. ✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・.°•・゚゚・゜゜・.•
..We lay here for years or for hours,
So long we become the flowers..
The sky was dark, lightning struck through the clouds, and rainfall ensued. Simon nudged your side, urging you to move closer. There was no place where you and he felt more vulnerable and free than this hill, nestled deep in the forest, where the sky and ocean meet. You swung your legs lazily, gazing at the rocks and trees below in the piedmont. A sense of peace washed over you as you let your gaze roam amidst the tempestuous nature.
The ground felt harsh beneath your palms and tender flesh, yet you paid it little attention. It still offered more softness in some ways than the harsh reality that enveloped you and your teammates each day.
Droplets of rain began to pour, and neither Simon nor you moved an inch.
His face remained still, as it always did, concealing a raging war within his soul that only you had caught a glimpse of.
Even after all these years, you still managed to recognize the face beneath that mask. Countless times, you had brushed your fingertips against the tender skin of his face.
No words were needed; you had made a promise before unveiling the true nature hidden within his soul and heart.
Before joining the task force, you never realized the depth of silence's language. It was only after warming up to your cold lieutenant that you truly grasped this reality.
At first, Simon completely ignored you, pushing away that tightening feeling in his chest. He didn't want to form attachments. He yearned for your love more than his next breath, yet he was not prepared for the consequences that came with a relationship. It wasn't death he was afraid of; no, it was the thought of losing you.
He refused to acknowledge his feelings, choosing instead to watch over you from afar like the ghost he was. He observed you, maintaining a distance for his own sake. The mask on his face was a source of gratitude, concealing the chuckles that would arise when you acted smart with the captain or teased Johnny about his accent during dinner. Not to mention the countless pranks you and Gaz had shared, along the desk duty afterwards.
There was something special about you that he couldn't quite grasp. And for the first time in a long while, he allowed himself to pursue it, to chase after it, and to let it consume his very being.
Just like when he trained rookies every Tuesday morning with you. You were always ahead, never once late. He admired that about you, along with the many other qualities that made you irresistible in the eyes of the stoic lieutenant.
He barked orders at the rookies, firm and precise, waiting for them to shoot and miss. It happened more than once, and he swore he would lose his mind over these thick-skulled soldiers who couldn't hit, for gid sake, a single unmoving target. You, on the other hand, gracefully moved between the rookies, like a poised zephyr, gently instructing and assisting the nervous ones and helping them avoid the angry man.
You and Simon were different, yet somehow the same mud, fitting together like puzzle pieces.
You were calm; an ocean of tranquility that concealed a past that nothing could erase.
Simon was calm; a dark sky that promised a raging storm to follow.
Simon was the shifting sands, always changing. You, on the other hand, remained constant. A loyal sergeant, "a collected lassie" as Johnny affirmed, "with a witty sense of humor", as Gaz added. Captain Price simply nodded, his gaze shifting from your figure training away from them to the Ghost standing nearby, who murmured softly, finally releasing something he didn't realize he would ever say. "And great eyes."
The captain understood. Years of serving alongside the Ghost had given him some insight into the man, not entirely, mind you, but enough to comprehend what troubled him.
Love, Attraction, Affection...
Words with which Simon was well-acquainted, he comprehended the concept of love, had experienced it, and had been loved in return.
However, it was not until that fateful day in Mexico, when you tended to his wounded abdomen in a safe house, disregarding your own injuries and focusing solely on his, that he truly grasped the profound meaning of the word. As your fingertips skillfully treated his scarred skin, he felt an indescribable sensation, causing goosebumps to rise.
Assuming his hand was on his heart due to a chill, you were unaware that his heartbeats were overpowering him, igniting an intense fire within his body. Embarrassed by this overwhelming surge of emotions, he made every effort to regain his composure, even as his mind raced with thoughts. After you finished patching his stomach, aware that the lieutenant would not say much, you stood up. But a firm grip on your wrist halted your departure, causing you to sit back down as instructed. "wait," he ordered firmly, yet you still felt a certain uncertainty and a faint plea in the word.
He removed his mask, discarding it carelessly. You were already familiar with his face, so it came as no surprise when his fatigued grey eyes met yours. A trickle of blood across his temple caught your attention, prompting a frown to appear on your face. "Are you injured?" you asked, scanning his head for any signs of damage, but finding none. Your hand instinctively reached out to cup his temple, wiping away the trace of blood from a tiny cut. "Here?"
He blinked, releasing a long sigh before taking hold of your hand. Anticipating that he would push it away, you were surprised when he instead brought it to his chest, allowing it to rest gently on the tattered remains of his black shirt, directly above his heart. In a husky whisper, his eyes locked with yours, he uttered, "Here..."
Simon Riley was a mysterious man, but you understood that there were limits to what you needed to know. You did not delve into his past, and he was immensely grateful for your discretion. Through your affection and care, you enveloped him in a love that made him truly comprehend its profound essence. His previous notions of love as a curse, afflicting unfortunate individuals and functioning as a poison that consumed their thoughts before leading them to their demise, were now replaced with a newfound understanding. You made him experience a love unlike any he had encountered before.
Simon's gentle nudge, firmer this time, brought you back to the present. He offered a weary smile, his once dark grey eyes now lighter since the time you began your relationship, meeting your gaze. Sensing his touch on your face, not forceful but enough to capture your attention, you felt his calloused fingers, marked by their service, trace across your cold, rain-kissed cheek. "You are beautiful," he murmured.
You had heard this phrase countless times before, whether from colleagues, friends, or past lovers. Yet, when it rolled off his tongue, it felt different. You nodded, acknowledging the sentiment and allowing it to infuse your soul with peace and affection.
He coughed, fidgeting with his free hand in his pocket. Resting your head on his shoulder, you basked in the warmth that radiated from him, embracing you tightly. Your hand trailed along his knee, lightly patting his wet, dark jeans. Taking a deep breath, you felt the rain wash away your sorrows.
Simon cupped your free hand, delicately sliding a familiar metallic band onto your finger. Your eyes widened in shock as you stared at the man beside you and the exquisite ring adorning your hand. The black diamond shimmered, and you would have wagered it cost more than your monthly paycheck. He smirked, whispering softly as he pressed his lips against your hand, now adorned with the piece of jewelry
"Yes?"
A cry escaped your lips as you tightly embraced him. You knew he smiled, his hand resting gently on your back, providing a comforting pat.
In choosing to spend another chapter of his life with you, he desired nothing more than to be with you for the remainder of this lifetime.
Every part of him felt incomplete, yet he willingly entrusted you with the fragment that he still possessed. He believed that you would vanquish the darkness that plagued his heart, allowing the radiance of love to fill his chest.
Like a gentle butterfly, you landed upon him, kissing his heart and soul, declaring it your eternal abode.
He did not require a metallic band to prove your connection, for you had known it long ago and had been living it ever since.
Nevertheless, he felt an irresistible urge to offer you something, a grateful whisper, a constant reminder, in case he did not return one day, or in case you needed to fend off unwanted attention. He wished to claim you as his own because he was dangerously yours.

Cross Guild Headcanon - Part 3
Comment: I saw this idea posted by @spaceagerabbit and really wanted to write it! And somehow it also fit perfectly with my ongoing fiction... so here we go - I present you a smut with submissive and whiney Buggy. This is also for @lostfirefly and @hellbaby237
Warning: smut, Buggy x female reader, a bit of force and violence, Buggy is a virgin, NSFW, minors do not interact!
English is not my native language, this has not been proofread.
Part 1 - Part 2
Tumblr media
As you leave the room, ready to get help for your captain you suddenly are grabbed and pushed against a wall, screaming in surprise as you gasp for air.
The scent of cigars seems to suffocate you and you immediately know who was pinning you against the wall next to the room you just had left - Crocodile was smiling at you with a sly grin.
“Gotcha! Did the clown send you to run some errands for him? Then he needs to wait..”
You try to break free from his grip, realizing he is too strong to get away.
“What do you want? My captain needs medical aid, I am in a hurry.” “Your loyalty is really admirable. What do you find about this loser so enticing that you are going all the lengths for him?”
"You wouldn't understand, would you?!" you seethe, directing your frustration towards Crocodile. You're well aware that such words could easily escalate the situation, leaving you battered and bruised just like your captain. You manage to restrain yourself from acting impulsively and instead wait for his response. Slowly, he releases his grip on you, seemingly impressed by your audacity.
"Would you be interested in joining the cross guild, little girl? Do you believe Captain Buggy would willingly share you with us?"
You stare at Crocodile in utter disbelief. What could he possibly mean by that?
"I don't think it's customary for a pirate captain to share their crew members," you cautiously reason, carefully choosing your words.
"Aren't you just Buggy's little plaything? Here's a proposition: demonstrate your true loyalty towards that clown, and perhaps we'll reconsider collecting the debts owed by your captain..."
"I refuse!" you exclaim, feeling as though you're repeating yourself. Deep down, you have an instinctive understanding of what Crocodile wants, but you simply cannot fathom accepting it.
Without giving you a choice, Crocodile swings open the adjacent door and forcefully propels you back into the room. Buggy was still sitting on the sofa, anxiously awaiting your return. His defeated expression transforms into one of sheer terror as he witnesses Crocodile's firm grasp on you, exerting pressure to push you forward.
"Change of plans, clown!" Crocodile declares, his voice laced with menace. "Y/n here has agreed to assist you with your debt."
"Really?" Buggy's face illuminates with a mixture of disbelief and hope. Before you can utter a word, Crocodile delivers a forceful shove, causing you to emit a startled shriek as you stumble and land directly at the feet of your captain.
A resounding laughter erupts from Crocodile, his amusement unbearable for you in front of Buggy.
“I’m sorry, Captain, I couldn't get you a doctor. Crocodile stopped me…”
Buggy remained silent, his body trembling with fear, uncertain of what would unfold next.
"I simply fail to understand why Y/n here would risk her own life for a worthless individual like you," Crocodile remarked, a twisted amusement evident in his voice. "But as I held her captive outside, I couldn't help but notice the spark in her eyes, her unwavering determination. It seems she truly loves you, clown. And now, I want to witness her express that love for you with all that she possesses."
Embarrassment floods over you, causing your cheeks to burn as you tremble, feeling utterly humiliated to have your emotions laid bare in front of your captain.
You can hear Buggy gulp, and you purposely avoid meeting his gaze as he cautiously asks, "Is that true? What do you mean by showing her love towards me, Crocodile...?"
Your gaze still lowered, you notice Crocodile has settled into a chair on the opposite side of the room, crossing his legs in a comfortable position.
“I want to see her fucking you. To say it bluntly. That beautiful body of hers on a loser like you sounds like the best entertainment I can get here on this island…!”
Crocodile's laughter fills the room, causing your heart to skip a beat upon hearing his words directed at you and Buggy. Desperately, you attempt to stifle the tears welling up inside, refusing to believe that this could be anything more than a cruel joke.
"In your dreams, you damn bastard!" Buggy's voice resonates with a sudden surge of courage. "You can humiliate me all you want, but my crew members are off-limits!"
You watch as he rises to his feet, placing himself between you and Crocodile, while you remain frozen on the floor, unable to move.
However, Crocodile proves to be quicker and stronger. Transforming into sand, he swiftly disappears from the chair he had been occupying, reappearing behind Buggy in an instant. With brutal force, he shoves your captain back onto the sofa, causing Buggy to emit a cry of pain. Unable to bear the sound any longer, you lift your gaze.
"I'll do it! It's fine! If you'll just stop tormenting my captain and erase all his debts, I'll do whatever you want!" you yell, desperation lacing your voice. Crocodile gazes at you, a smirk dancing upon his lips.
"That's it! That's the fire I want to see, little girl!"
Taking a deep sigh, you turn towards Buggy, who remains seated on the couch, clutching his injured arm in pain.
"I'm sorry, Captain," you begin, your voice filled with remorse. "I wish I could have found a better moment to tell you this..."
Buggy's gaze shifts towards you, uncertainty flickering in his eyes. His eyes widen in surprise as you start to fumble at his pants, trying to open them.
“We do not need to do this, Y/n…!”, he stammers, but you have already freed his cock from the red fabric of his clothes and you start gently rubbing it. It is so big and veiny, you can hardly fit it in your hand. As you feel the heat rising from your stomach to your head you realize that this was all you had ever dreamed of - you just had hoped it would have happened in a different time at a different place and without an audience watching.
Crocodile has sat down again on his chair, watching you carefully as you slowly start to pump Buggys throbbing dick. You try to avoid his gaze, feeling embarrassed but you can hear Buggy hissing, his hands instinctively move to stop you, but instead of exerting force, they gently guide you, encouraging you to proceed further.
“Y/n, please..!”, he groans and you are not sure if it is a plea to stop or continue further. You realize that you no longer want to entertain the thought of Crocodile and the humiliation he has subjected you to. At this moment, your sole focus is on Buggy, and you are willing to do whatever it takes to make Crocodile finally leave your captain alone.
Buggy emits a startled shriek as you suddenly take his cock in your mouth, gently starting to suck on it.
“I knew it. Look at that little slut, she is a professional!” Crocodile chuckles at the other side of the room, still keeping his gaze fixated on you, seeming to fully enjoy the show.
“Come on, you stupid clown. You just want to sit there and let her do the work? Give her some love too!”, he demands and as Buggy does not react, he turns into sand again, getting closer to the two of you, forcing Buggys gloved hand under your shirt, with a swift motion finding your breasts under the fabrics. Your captain is moaning and whining, he wants to shake off Crocodile's leading hand, but he can feel how you tremble under the touch and how your nipples get stiff and hard. You can feel his cock getting even harder in your mouth - he really does not want to do this, but his body is just not reacting as he had wished for. “Take off her clothes, come on!” Crocodile whispers and finally Buggy seems to be more cooperative. With shaking hands he grabs your shirt and lifts it up, leaving you down on your knees only with your pants and a bare chest. “Look at her beautiful tits. Have you ever seen lovely rosy skin like this? Don't you tell me you don't want to suck on this…?”, Crocodiles voice has become a whisper and you finally dare to look up. You can see the former warlord, standing behind the sofa, whispering into your captain's ear with a mischievous grin. Buggys face is distorted in desire and humiliation, you can feel his cock pulsating on your tongue as you meet his gaze. He is totally into you, he longs for you and you can feel that he is close to cum if you do not quickly pull back.
Taking control of the situation, you release your grip on Buggy's cock and carefully rise to your feet. You rub your knees, easing the discomfort caused by your position on the floor.
Having both men looking at you now felt kind of arousing and embarrassing, you quickly took off your pants and underwear, giving your captain and Crocodile a good view on your whole naked body by doing so.
"I see you're starting to enjoy yourself," Crocodile remarks with a sly grin, leisurely circling around the sofa to draw nearer to you.
Refusing to let him derail your resolve, you don't allow his comment to interrupt you. The agreement was forged out of love for Buggy, and you were determined in not allowing Crocodile to undermine your actions any further.
Seeing your captain's longing gaze and him blushing under his clown makeup made you feel light-headed. He was a mess, spread out on the couch, his eyes scanning your body in anticipation. His vibrant blue hair scruffy, cascading in an unruly manner across the surface of the sofa. You gently took his hands, allowing him to explore your body, guiding them over your breasts and your hips. A shiver ran through your spine, finally feeling his touch made you feel weak and craving more. “Do you want to continue, Captain?!”, you ask carefully, trying to meet his gaze, his emerald eyes glowing in lust and excitement. He is unable to answer, overwhelmed by the situation, but his body shows clear signs of not having had enough yet.
You again take the lead, carefully kneeling on to the couch, lowering your wet folds against the tip of Buggys cock. You observe a mixture of painful longing in his expression as he realizes your intentions. Leaning closer, you whisper in his ear, your voice barely audible.
"Trust me, Captain. I will make you feel really good."
You can suddenly feel bare hands on your hips and your bottom, Crocodile had positioned himself behind you two and was now laughing again, his cold fingers grabbing your flesh.
"We don't have all day for this, and I want to see more of the clown's suffering!" Crocodile's  voice is filled with impatience and sadistic anticipation as he pushes your hips down, forcing Buggy into entering your wet pussy without any resistance. You moaned loudly over the sudden forceful penetration, but it feels so good, that you immediately start moving - feeling Buggys cock completely filling your insides. Your captain has thrown his head back, he is whimpering and groaning, his eyes rolling in his head. He cannot look at you, feeling so humiliated, but his hips start moving into you, he really wants to cum, he is craving for release. You gently put your arms around his shoulders, he is still fully dressed, but you want to make sure he feels you close to him, feeling the heat from your body.
"Captain, look at me!" you whisper once more, your voice filled with persistence. Drawing nearer to his face, you come so close that your noses almost touch. Buggy exerts every ounce of his willpower to meet your gaze. Beads of sweat glisten on his forehead, his mouth hangs partially open, and his eyes appear feverish with a mixture of desire and confusion. You realize that he probably has never done this before in his life. You might be his first.
You try to go a bit slower, so he can enjoy this longer. You again take his hands and guide them over your body. He is hesitant but as his fingers reach your hip, he suddenly grabs you forcefully, leaning forward to kiss you. His kiss is sloppy and messy, you realize that he is starting to lose control but also he starts to understand what this was all about.
“I’m so sorry, Y/n. I always.. wanted to protect you..!”, he just moaned and this was the moment he couldn't hold back any longer. He started growling and pumping even harder into you, you could feel the tip of his cock touching your cervix. Saliva was dripping out of his mouth as he was so focused on reaching his climax, his movements became careless and out of sync with yours, he was just reaching for his own sweet relief. “You feel so fucking good, I wanna do this again and again to you…!” he moaned in your ear, his voice was hoarse, you had never heard him talking like this before.
“Is it true what Crocodile said…? Do you… ah… love me?”, he continued mumbling in your ear, making you blush and feeling even more vulnerable than you already were.
Buggy suddenly slapped your ass and you shrieked in surprise. You could feel his dick pulsating against your wet folds, you knew he was close to cum. Instead of answering, you decide to stay silent, because he was talking like he was out of his mind and his feverish eyes just proved that. You leaned forward kissing him again, gently nibbling on his lips, delicately letting your hands run down his clothed chest. This finally breaks him, Buggy throws his head back and hisses: “You damn vixen, fuck!” and in that instant you feel his hot juices flowing inside of you, filling you up to the brim.
You are both panting, you can still feel him twitching inside of you, unable to move he just stays on the sofa, breathing heavily. Crocodiles laughter fills the room and you suddenly remember that he had been watching the whole time.
“Well done, little girl. He didn't even last for 5 minutes but I guess your pussy took him out better than any of our beatings…!”
You quickly try to cover your breast in a sudden realization of being completely exposed and vulnerable. As you try to get off from Buggy you could hear the wet sounds from between your legs, making you blush again.
“Sweetheart…!” As Buggy attempted to sit up, a faint moan escaped his lips. However, before you could fully comprehend the moment, Crocodile reappears behind you, his presence overshadowing you. The pungent aroma of his cigar enveloping you, while his voice takes on the same hoarse tone your captain had used earlier.
"Do you think this is the end of it?" Crocodile rasps, his words laced with a sinister undertone. "That was merely a warm-up. Now, allow me to demonstrate how a real man handles such matters."

💖🧡 The airport is not that bad.. (mr mcsocialanxiety is the comforted, can't blame him airports are scary as hell)
~ setting - all the fun of getting through security, waiting for the plane (and probably eating and grabbing more snacks) and getting on the plane and finally settling in!! (rich boy got first class cause he would have a heart attack sitting by anyone that he didn't know)
definitely think that is his first time being in an airport and on a normal plane and not being personally shuttled around by a styx vehicle
Im so sorry if I gave you a heart attack with all the words!!! Sorry if the last one isnt too vaction-y kinda thought of it while i was writing the first one

"Come on, big brother!"
You looked over to your right and saw Ortho hovering underneath a large umbrella propped up in the sand. Idia was sitting cross-legged with his sweater unzipped, slouching as he played on his switch while Ortho was attempting to convince him to come out from under it.
"Please?" Ortho pleaded desperately. Kalim, who had just come back from splashing around in the waves, ran up to you with a big smile on his face. "Y/N, do you want to come swimming with me?" He asked. "The water's nice and cold!"
You couldn't help but smile back. "In a minute, Kalim. I'm going head over to Ortho and Idia for a second." You said, standing up. "Hm?" Kalim looked over at the flame-haired brothers with a curious look. "Are they not going to swim either?"
"I don't think Idia even wants to come out from under that umbrella, let alone go swimming." You said dryly. "Though I'm curious what would happen if their hair got wet. Since you know, it's fire."
"I'm curious about that as well, actually," Jade spoke up from behind you, causing you and Kalim to both jump and spin around in surprise. Floyd, who was standing behind his brother, had a devious smirk on his face. "Oh, my apologies. I didn't mean to scare you two." Jade said.
"It's fine!" Kalim said cheerfully, then added, "But I wouldn't want to embarrass them both by splashing water on their heads!"
You nodded in agreement. "Yeah... we are kinda lucky that Ortho managed to drag Idia along in the first place. Plus, since Ortho's basically a robot, wouldn't the water damage him since he's almost all mechanical?"
Jade thought for a moment. "I guess you both make valid points. Maybe we should simply help Ortho get Idia off that electronic of his and get some sunlight."
"Awww, boring! I'm going back out there!" Floyd huffed, indicating to the water. He scowled and stomped back to the shallow water, making his way further out. Jade chuckled. "Despite his age, he still acts similar to when he was a little mereel."
"I bet you two were so cute as little eels!" Kalim exclaimed. You were a little dubious about that statement but simply nodded. Jade smiled. "Thank you. Now then, I believe Ortho needs our assistance." You and Kalim nodded.
You led the way over to the rainbow umbrella, where Ortho was still trying to convince Idia. "Go out in the sun? And get sunburned? Nuh-uh, no way. Besides, I have to guard this so it doesn't get stolen." Idia said, holding up the switch. Ortho had a frown on his face and he made a movement similar to stomping his foot in the air, his hands momentarily clenching into fists.
"This was supposed to be a fun trip but all you're doing is sitting here on that instead!" Ortho exclaimed, pouting. Then he saw you approach and swiftly flew over to you, grappling you into a hug. "Y/NNN, Idia doesn't want to hang out with me!"
"That's a low blow, dragging Y/N into this." Idia said. You walked over and snatched the switch from his hands. "He wouldn't have to if you weren't just sitting here on this."
"Hey!" Idia complained, trying to grab it back. You handed the switch to Jade, who was smiling rather sadistically. Idia crossed his arms, looking mad, but he wasn't about to try to get his switch back from Jade.
"Alright, up. We're here on vacation and we're at the beach. You can take ten minutes away from that thing to spend some time with your brother. Can't you see that he really wants to hang out with you?" You indicated to Ortho, who was hovering beside Kalim with a pleading look on his face.
Idia hesitated, but eventually relented with an exasperated sigh. "Fine...." He muttered. Ortho and Kalim cheered and Jade handed the switch back to you. You removed your hoodie from your waist and wrapped the electronic inside of it, then placed it under the umbrella.
"See? Now it won't get stolen. Now c'mon!" You said, grabbing his arm and pulling him out into the sun. Idia was still mumbling angrily, but he gave a small smile when Ortho hovered over to him and said, "Come on, big bro! Let's have a sand castle contest!"
"Ooo, I'll join in too! Y/N, you're on my team!" Kalim said excitedly, looping his arm with yours. Jade chuckled. "Let me go retrieve Floyd. I'll be right back." He said, walking away.
"Let's go find a good spot to hold the contest." Kalim said, dragging you along while the Shroud brothers followed. After a few minutes, you found a decently flat area. "Here should work." You said.
"This is such a normie thing to do..." You heard Idia mutter. "Oh, cheer up, big brother! We're gonna win this contest and be the best sand castle makers ever!" Ortho butt in, doing a spin in the air.
"You're gonna be eating those words, Sea Angel!" Floyd laughed, a devious smirk on his face. He and Jade were back from the sea, both looking pretty confident.
"Oh yeah? We'll see about that! Come on, Ortho, let's show 'em who they're messing with." Idia said, now seeming to have no qualms with the contest. He and Ortho high-fived.
The pairs of brothers both got to work and you and Kalim exchanged a glance. "I didn't think they'd get so competitive about a sand castle competition." You said quietly. Kalim giggled. "Well, let's just focus on having fun! That's what this vacation is all about, right?"

Good day, dear Kay! ^*^
Can I request some cute headcanons about being a blue lock fem!manager or assistant? Something like cute interactions, how manager cares of boys and they are simps/whipped or just have a soft spot for their cute manager. Please, ignore it, if it's uncomfortable for you!
Have a nice day~
The boys sure were surprised when Ego suddenly announced the news. Apparently the Bluelock boys were getting a new manager. Some were excited, some were angry but no one dared to oppose Ego. So here were they, with their new manager y/n l/n after a week they joined in.
How bluelock boys act with their new manager

---------------------------------------------------☆
Headcanons!
•Day 1 and it's hella akward. Isagi and Chigiri will try to ease the tension and befriend you. They realised that it's probably not that bad as they thought at first.
•Soon enough, everyone gets comfortable with you; well almost everyone except RinRin and Barou
•After spending a whole week with them you finally realise the reason Ego sent you as their manager. It was a whole chaos but somehow you still managed it.
•Nagi is like a parasite, always attached to you. Mainly because he gets to be lazy around you. "Y/nnn, you're the only one who is not a hassle. Please stay here forever"
"You're only saying this because I cleaned your room"
•On the other hand, Reo scolds you for babying Nagi (says who 🙄). But Reo will also teach you some of his football tricks in his free time.
•The worry about Shidou and Rin constantly being at each other's throats never leaves you alone.
"FUCK YOU STUPID BUMBLING ANTENNAE! " "OH FUCK ME YOURSELF YOU COWARD! "
*Aggressively throwing hands*
•Yeah, pretty much like that. You practically have to step in between their argument or else someone's definitely going to the hospital tonight.
•Although uou never believed Shidou being a 'Demon' because he always acts like an angel around you. Keeping you company when you're doing some boring paperwork and occasionally asking for your number.
•Same goes for Barou. He might look all scary and mean but inside, he's just a soft guy who likes cleaning with you. He'll often help you with cleaning the mess created by the other players.
•Whenever you're not doing your work, you're always seen with Otoya and Karasu. Whether it being pulling off small, harmless pranks or just having a chat in the lunch room. Karasu always bonks Otoya in the head for flirting with you. Oh god, he's such a simp for you.
•Saturdays for you are 'Self-care Saturdays'. Aryu along with Chigiri will both help you with your hair. Sharing their secrets and tips to self care. Oh boy, you sure are leaving Bluelock looking like a model.
•Isagi and Bachira never let the boredom get to you. Monopoly, snake and ladder, uno, whatever you want, they are always ready to play with you. The duo itself is so entertaining that you don't even need anything else.
•Ok but Rin Itoshi's usually 'so cold' and 'merciless' eyes always soften when you are with him. He hates to admit it but he has finally started to let down his tough walls around you. You being the only one whose presence is somewhat tolerable to him. You're often seen helping him with his workout.
•Yukimiya let's you wear his glasses PERIOD
•You definitely have regular sleepovers with Nanase and Hiori, with Niko sometimes joining you. Those 3 pure balls of sunshine never fail to make your day brighter.
•You still wonder, what would've happened if you had declined Ego's proposal. You would've never met such unique people. But you know one thing for sure, you will always stay in touch with the boys, no matter what path you or they choose in the future.
----------------------------------------------------------
I tried to include every character in this. I sincerely apologize but I couldn't think anymore. I'm not a manga reader, I'm sorry ( ;∀;)
Soo how does it feel to be the Bluelock's favorite manager? I have decided that I'll start requests for Chainsaw man and Jujutsu Kaisen too. So currently, I'm open to write for 3 fandoms: Bluelock, Chainsaw man and Jujutsu Kaisen
Soo, let the requests roll in!

Finally got to see Peter Pan Goes Wrong in West End with Charlie Russell, Matthew Cavendish, Greg Tannahill, Matthew Howell, Harry Kershaw, Clark Devlin, Jamie Birkett, Chris Leask, Ellie Morris, and Jean-Luke Worrell! They were all amazing, I thought I'd share some of my fav bits! (Warning: There's a lot)
• Firstly, programme stuff: the note from the director basically just being Chris and Trevor arguing like a married couple. Chris being too scientific and Trevor having to remind him it's supposed to be festive.
● Them leaving a note asking if anybody was a flying operator as they didn't currently have one😭
• Robert leaving the children of the Cornley Youth Theatre abandoned in a forest with limited food and knives,to prepare for their performance of Lord of the Flies. NSPCC and police had to intervene, 2 of the children are still missing today (Ben McIntyre and Sarah Cordell)
• Jonathon's interview where's he's practically begging the interviewer to take note he was 'fashionably late', when he was actually waiting for 6 hours.
• Jonathon saying (in the interview), he's been focusing on humanitarian work, such as adopting a child from Ethiopia and a child from Vietnam. And then the interviewer just replied with "That is Brad Pitt. Everything you have just said is about Brad Pitt and not yourself."
• In the cast section, Chris Bean writing "I would like to remind my father that there is a spare ticket at the box office for him if he chooses to show up." That's so sad😭
• Trevor's section ended with "trevorzbeatz/YouTube.co.uk" 😭
• Pip (assistant stage manager) just says: "They call me Big Pip up north. Trevor's cousin. Out and about and that. Nice one." Like okay yh me too Big Pip
• They tried to feed the crocodile an alarm clock😭 (RIP Nadia tho😔)
• Annie left a little note saying she's "looking for a man" and then there's some description of what she's (not) looking for
• A page saying welcome to the theatre, but it is still very much in character😭 "Director Chris Bean always fulfils his promise of giving us a show we will remember for a very long time."
•Pre-show antics: one of the assistant stage managers (I'm gonna guess Pip? Not too sure tho) was walking around looking for a hammer. I noticed that he'd act like he was looking around and then when he spotted a child he'd go and ask them. I thought that was cute🥹
• I couldn't see the wires going through the audience cause I had seats up high, but I did see Robert pulling the end of the wire whilst on stage with the help of an audience member
• Dennis was late I think, ran across the stage from the audience with a bag on
• Lucy suddenly ran off stage, Robert not far behind shouting things like "You have to do it!" (And then later on she ran back on stage, but it seemed Robert got caught up in a convo)
• Now onto the actual show, I thought Dennis singing les mis due to his headgear was pretty funny seeing as les mis was about a door or 2 down
• At one point we were clapping for something (can't remember what, but it was during the beginning Darling Family scene), and Max joined in with the clapping. Sandra had to tell him to stop with a pointed glare and a lil hand gesture
• Every appearance with Robert as the shadow was amazing, I know it's simple but I'm always impressed with the rug pull and the way he lands
• During the bit where there's too much smoke and it engulfs the pirates, Trevor comes to the rescue but does hit Chris in the arse by accident, christrev anybody?
• I will forever love Robert trying to get Dennis to pick up the sword, Dennis picking up the boat paddle and Robert going on a rant about how he's been moving his arms for the past 5 mins why would he need the paddle
• During the interval the lights would still go out occasionally, fun touch
• As Jonathan flew up before crashing down, a banner fell down with Robert holding a bean, a reference of his show Jack and the bean
• Before this, I'd only seen the BBC recorded version of Peter Pan Goes Wrong, so I rlly enjoyed the changes. Such as the mermaids, but I RLLY laughed at Robert being the Mr Bumble in Oliver that killed a child. Especially when he went to be Peter Pan before starting to sing 'Food, Glorious Food"
• The whole poison bit was incredible, Harry's improv was on FIRE. We obvs did the traditional pantomime business which made Chris mad, he very much gave teacher vibes as he sat down on the set and said it was our own time we were wasting. He also complained that this was only the matinée and they still had an evening performance to get to. Then he pointed out how somebody in the audience was hissing, "Nobody goes to a show and says 'Yeah it was good but the person in the fourth row wouldn't stop hissing'" (this resulted in a lot of children hissing whenever he appeared on stage). Then when it got to the poison bit, a child was yelling at him to hurry up, causing Chris to go on a rant about how he didn't even want children there, sitting there on their booster seats. After the child yelled at him multiple times, Chris gave up and told the child to open it for him, which they did. Then as he was leaving, we were booing again and he was like "NO NO DONT BOO ME, IT WAS THE CHILD THAT POISIONED HIM." Then as he exited, he said something along the lines of "blame the child murderer." It was insane.
• Then, when Peter asked who would try to poison him, Tink/Annie pointed at the child that opened the bottle. I think Chris Leask actually had to turn his head downwards and to the side to hide his laughing.
• I've pointed this out before, but I'm so endeared with how worried Chris was when Annie was unconscious. HE KNEELED THERE HOVERING OVER HER BODY JUST LIKE TOUCHING HER FACE, NOT SPEAKING FOR AWHILE. Adorable. Every characters reaction was adorable...sorry Annie
• I just have to say Francis' Cabaret performance to distract us from Annie was amazing. Loved the audience clapping along as well and the rest of the cast looking absolutely shocked and confused
• I loved that we heard a whole marriage fall apart through Dennis' headgear. I want to know more abt them, the husband that took over to help Dennis sounded sweet
• When Lucy slid down the ship in her wheelchair she was flung out and then caught by Trevor in a sort of bear hug, Lucy's legs wrapped around his torso. Trevor was SEVERELY judging the cast HE WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THEM. They're besties ur honour, I thought it was so cute
• Loved Francis' Cabaret performance again during the big fight scene with the set moving.
• Trevor saying something like "You've got to be joking" when Lucy picked up the book 😭
• I wanted to scream laugh at Chris lying in the bed like an ill victorian child as Lucy closed up the story, and then Dennis choosing to lie on the squished bottom bunk
• As Lucy continued to read, Chris, Sandra, Trevor, Dennis, and Max were all checking up on one another in the background. Hugs, shoulder grabs. Guys, I love Sandra and Chris' dynamic so much, Sandra was making sure he got off the bed alright and then gave him a hug
• Of course the whole end song, Max as the crocodile encouraging us to clap
It was so amazing, everybody was fantastic!! My jaw still aches from laughing so hard! Hope ppl found this interesting cause I always love when other ppl share what happened during their show😭

BG3 ask game, assuming you're still interested (feel free to ignore if not): 1, 3, 6, 20, 24, 26, 27, 33.
With reference to this post
Spoilers contained herein so I'll put it under a read more
Tell us about your Tav! Name, class and subclass, race, pronouns. Do you have a headcanon for where they're from? Their family? Are they a Dark Urge? Or did you choose an Origin Character? Was it an easy decision? (1)
My Tav is... named Tav. She's a High Elf Beast Master Ranger who enjoys nothing more than exploring the wilds of Faerun and having exciting adventures. She has shades of a wandering knight-errant, and I took the Folk Hero background to reflect this. My Tav tries to do good when possible, though she's been known to have a few moments of dickishness (mostly when trying to impress Lae'zel by looking tough in front of her), and she's gathered a bit of a reputation out on the frontier as someone who can be trusted to help those in need. Her various animal companions are all creatures she's aided along her journeys, and they've chosen to assist her in return out of gratitude for her kindness.
Her time spent away from civilization has left my Tav ignorant of some of the finer points of social interaction, but she's naturally insightful and makes an excellent leader (lucky for her, given the group she's fallen in with...). She's fairly well-educated, and knows a good bit about history and magic in addition to the standard collection of knowledge and skills one would expect from a Ranger.
She prefers to fight with a bow (it doubles as a hunting weapon), but she's a fair hand with any kind of sword or spear as well. She knows a few spells and cantrips that amplify her combat performance, but otherwise relies on scrolls for magical firepower. She can usually be found on the high ground, raining arrows down on her foes as Lae'zel and Karlach block them off and guard her and the casters ferociously.
Also she's bi as hell and considerers the companions her harem
Has your Character been using their illithid powers? (3)
Nope! Tav does not like the mind flayers, and Lae'zel likes them even less, two excellent reasons to never use their powers!
Were you able to save everyone when the goblins stormed the gates at the Grove? (6)
If you mean the band of adventurers you encounter when you first reach the Grove, yes. I managed that without much difficulty. It's a fairly straightforward fight. If you mean the full-scale goblin attack near the end of Act 1, that never happened because I killed all the leaders (even Mommy Minthara T_T).
Were you able to save everyone when the goblins stormed the gates at the Grove? (6)
I never actually found this guy because I fucked up the Zhentarim interaction lmao.
Was your illithid tadpole empowered by anything in Act 1? If so, how does your Character feel about that? (24)
I can't remember, actually, but I don't think so. Tav prefers to avoid empowering her tadpole if possible, a philosophy that puts her at odds with Astarion at times. Lae'zel, on the other hand, wholeheartedly approves.
What was your favorite enemy? Did your Character have any memorable fights or moments in combat that were ripe for headcanons and interpretation? (26)
My favorite enemy was probably Minthara, both because sexy drow mommy and because that was about the point where I started having to pay attention in fights instead of click buttons.
In my canon, Lae'zel froze up a bit when the gith in the creche turned on her on Vlaakith's command - not because she was afraid, but because she couldn't process the society she'd devoted herself to throwing her away so easily. Tav jumped into action to defend her and gave a good accounting of herself, but was eventually overwhelmed. Lae'zel snapped out of her funk just in time to save her. It was very romantic.
(I kept getting fucked by the stupid gith status debuffs they like throwing at you and it took me like 3 turns just to get Lae'zel involved in the fight)
The fight against the demon in the prologue was pretty memorable too. I decided to be a munchkin and kill the demon boss for his Everburn Greatsword to improve Lae'zel's capacity for violence, and in-universe this took the form of Tav threading the needle and expertly putting an arrow through his eye while he was fighting the mind flayer. Lae'zel and Tav had already proven to have remarkable synergy in combat as they fought their way through the nautiloid, and Lae'zel was starting to think of her as something worthy of attention, but her heart skipped a beat when Tav made that shot and then skipped another beat when Tav presented her with a giant flaming sword as a gift/show of trust after freeing her from the tiefling trap. It explains why she was so eager to jump Tav's bones, at any rate.
Otherwise that one guy you can convince to kill himself with a high enough persuasion roll was pretty fuckin memorable
Who ended up in your Character's most used party? (27)
Lae'zel. Rarely does Tav's wifey leave her side (unfortunately, this makes it hard to justify using Karlach as much as I'd like to since I want to have a healer and a caster and only have 4 total slots in the party and Tav doesn't fill either role very well). Shadowheart got a lot of use early in the game because no one else had a reliable source of healing, but now that I have picked up Halsin and Jaheira, I don't feel as pressured to bring her along. Otherwise, I just kind of cycle through the companions when I feel like having them in the party or am following questlines or exploring areas they have connections to.
Has your Character allied with the cult of the Absolute? (33)
Fuck no. Tav doesn't trust those bastards any further than Gale can throw them (with his arms, not his magic. He can throw things pretty far with magic).
Please please please ask me some more!

WHERE YOU’RE HIS BELOVED S/O
but you keep more than a card up your sleeve
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: lyney x fem witch! reader
reblogs and comments are appreciated ♡
if you ask Lynette who fell in love first and who fell harder between you and Lyney, she wouldn't even hesitate to point to her twin as the answer to both questions.
the first time you and Lyney met was during one of his public performances where after you caught his eye, he asked you to be his special guest during the show.
truth to be told, he had noticed you even before you approached the crowd surrounding him, and how could he not? you weren't just a pretty new face roaming around the hydro capital, but it was your charming aura that made all heads turn towards you that aroused his curiosity.
from Lyney's point of view, you were fascinating.
and that's why, taking the opportunity to approach and perhaps get to know you better, the magician shamelessly chose you among the dozens of people as an excuse to put his plans into practice.
the chosen act couldn’t be as simple as a deck of cards trick could be. you were instructed by the young magician to choose a card among the dozens offered, memorize it and put it back in the deck.
“this time, however, i propose that we do something different”, suggested the young man. Lynette eyed him suspiciously.
“oh yes?”, you smiled sweetly and Lyney almost found himself losing his composure, “what do you propose, monsieur?”
Lyney coughed, “the person in charge of shuffling the deck won't be me but my lovely assistant, Lynette!”
the younger twin sighed. although as his assistant the girl didn't mind being in the spotlight as long as her brother was the star of the show, Lynette didn't like the spontaneous acts her brother suggested especially knowing that it was merely to impress someone — a girl. you.
even so, she agreed and approached you, the audience only growing and the euphoria of each spectator vibrating with an energy of anticipation and expectation.
“besides, i’m somewhat confident that i’ll have your card. as a reward for my success i humbly propose a dinner for two, belle. on me, of course”. the crowd whistled and you stared at him with a twinkle in your eye.
“do your best then, darling”
Lyney, blinking excitedly and determinedly in your direction, offered the deck to his sister and walked away.
it only took a few seconds for the anemo girl to shuffle the fifty-two cards and another few seconds for you to choose yours.
Lynette not only return to shuffled the cards again as quickly as the eye could follow, but in the middle of the process she played a brief solo by throwing them in the air in which the entire deck turned to white petals, leaving only one card behind which Lyney deftly caught between his index and middle fingers. it was an exciting act and the crowd roared with excitement.
“very well, belle. i have your card in my domain. i hope you are as excited for our dinner as i am,” the magician declared revealing its front.
you watched him silently for a few seconds before smiling.
“oh my dear, it was an amazing performance i must admit. but… that's not my card”, you laughed mockingly.
Lyney stared at you confused, “impossible. i know you chose the seven of clubs.”
raising an eyebrow you said, “do you really think so? see it for yourself.”
and Lyney did, only to stare dumbfounded the queen of hearts who stared back at him.
to say you took everyone there by surprise would be an understatement. even Lynette herself who was known for rarely expressing her emotions couldn't hide the gleam of shock, and perhaps even a hint of humor, in her purple eyes. it was the first time anyone had managed to cheat the famous prince of cheats and it was uncertain for the twins to say what they felt about it.
after that, the show ended as no one understood how the professional magician had his trick broken and not even Lyney had the heart to continue the show.
one by one left until only the three of you stand there.
“well… that was unexpected i must say,” the young man nervously scratched his tear-marked cheek, “this has never happened before so i’m surprised.”
“you did well”, you praised.
“thank you belle, your words comfort me. however, i believe i need to practice again,” Lyney declared with a defeated sigh. Lynette looked at him sympathetically.
even if his statement was true, the magician still wondered what the chances were that he was mistaken during the performance. after all, he couldn't say he was rusty either when he's done the act more times than he could remember, therefore the muscular and psychological movements were as automatic to him as breathing.
moreover, he felt ashamed that not only had he been mistaken in front of so many people, but also for the “invitation” that he had done to you.
“i also apologize if i ever made you uncomfortable”, he smiled shyly “i don't think that dinner will happen anyways.”
after long minutes in silence you faked a melancholy sigh.
“that’s pity. i really was looking forward to sharing a glass of champagne with you,” you said.
“yes, a pity- wait, what... really? like really really?”
you laughed and this time the sound of your laughter was so melodious that the magician didn't even hold back the flush that rose hot from his neck to his cheeks.
“why, of course. there are few men or women who have managed to approach me so confidently and then ask me out without further ado,” you winked at him, “however, to our chagrin, i’m a woman of words. you missed the proposal so you missed our little date,” you smirked, Lyney swallowed hard.
“fair enough.”
“i hope i get to see more of your shows though, darling,” you say as you approach him, “i’m looking forward to finding out what else you hide up your sleeve. if you know what i wanna mean."
and with a bittersweet farewell, you disappeared among the Fontanian citizens, leaving a pair of twins behind with the eldest of them too confused to even think of anything to say.
“apparently you didn't fail at all this time,” Lynette commented, “what does she mean by finding out what you hide up your sleeve?”
“i have no idea, dear sister. the only thing i can tell you right now is that i am deeply in love,” the magician declared with a dreamy look on his face as his sister stared at him blankly. Lynette, having no desire to deal with her older brother's ramblings, walked away to start cleaning up the place.
it was only minutes later when Lyney had already joined his sister that the boy felt a slight discomfort in his covered right arm, as if an unknown object scratch the skin there every time he moved.
curiosity and annoyance caused him to roll up his sleeve only to be replaced by shock, confusion and a faint hint of anticipation.
there in his hand, a seven of clubs was mockingly displayed, but what really got the magician's heart racing was the message stamped in black and the imprint of the bright red lipstick you wore.
“you had my card, you just didn't know where to look for.
p.s. i'll be waiting for you tomorrow’s evening next to Hotel Debord. dinner is on me.”
needless to say that after that trick of yours Lyney just fell more in love with you.
the date couldn't have been more than perfect either, even if during all hours you were together, the magician found himself cornered by your charm and stuttering when you dazzled that cheeky smile that seemed to be characteristic of you. it was rewarding for him to finally have your name even though you refused to give him more information like “what trick did you use to have the card suddenly appear up his sleeve”.
“you have your secrets and i have mine, darling,” you replied.
after that, Lyney gave up on it and didn't ask about the subject anymore, preferring to spend the seconds he had left enjoying your presence and eliciting harmonious laughter from your lips at the expense of his nervousness.
and thanks to the gigantic compatibility between the two of you, there was a second, third and even a fourth date.
however, it wasn't until one of the dozens of nights you spent together that you finally revealed your abilities with spells and arithmancy through witchcraft — making Lyney finally understanding the reason why you seemed to know more than you let on, or how all his tricks seemed like just child’s pranks.
although he superficially understood the concept of it, the magician only grew more and more fascinated by you, his own heart warming as you lovingly explained the function of your abilities.
“chérie, you are without a doubt the most amazing woman i’ve ever been lucky enough to meet,” Lyney remarked after watching you create a small blue flame from water droplets in the air, “i seem to have gotten lucky in my numerology. without it i wouldn’t have the happiness of meeting the most beautiful, intelligent and talented woman in all of Teyvat.”
you blushed slightly.
“don't be fooled, Lyney. you are as amazing as i am.”
Lyney narrowed his eyes cheekily and glared at you, “oh yeah, belle? tell me why then, because only one of us here has the power to conjure up fascinating things just by reciting a few words.”
you smiled genuinely and looked him deep in his eyes. it wasn't even a surprise for you to find yourself thinking about the magician more times than you could count and looking forward to your dates. Lyney was nothing but one of the most genuine, charming and passionate person you’ve ever met. you loved every second in his presence and weren't ashamed to admit that you were counting down the seconds to go to the next step between you and him.
“well, only those who understand and respect human nature and everything around us can perform magic, dear. be it a spell or just an illusionary trick,” you explained, “and you perform your magic so well merely for the purpose of bringing happiness and smiles to your spectators. to me, there is nothing as noble as that.”
you took his hand in your and intertwined your fingers.
“i— um… damn, (Y/N). you never fail to leave me speechless, do you?” Lyney stuttered while stared at your hands together.
“only doing my job which is to exalt the work of the guy i like.”
Lyney stared at you wide-eyed and open-mouthed, his heart pounding so loud it felt like it was going to burst out of his chest. if he had been standing up, he would surely have passed out by now on the lawn.
“i like you too. a lot,” he finally confessed and you smiled happily.
leaning slowly towards him you placed a peck on his lips only making Lyney's blush redder than it had been seconds before.
“i know, my love. you're not very subtle about it, which i think is incredibly cute.”
and it was that night, under the gaze of the moon and stars, between kisses and caresses, that you made your relationship official.
now, if you ask Lynette if anything has changed since your first meeting to the current state of your relationship with her brother, the girl would deny it. so far you were a unique yet happy and healthy couple, and even if she didn't show it, she was happy that her twin brother had finally found someone who could fit him as much as she once did.
even if Lyney became an unbearably passionate and romantic fool in your presence, she couldn't have been lucky enough to have a better sister-in-law than you.

You enter the big building of your office with your heart beating so fast than usual. Everyone could notice your shaky hand press on the lift button at the level you were supposed to go. You didn't care about what others would think about you right now, given the task of giving a tour to a new employee is too overwhelmed for an introvert for you. You hate meeting new people yet you work as human resources in the corporation.
As the elevator's door opens at the level button you pressed, you walk out from the crowded elevator, and your mouth couldn't stop mumbling positive things. It's is just a human, not some weird creature. It's been 2 years you work as human resources, heck you didn't even know why you still couldn't meet new people without feeling this nervous. Pushing the wooden door of your office, you grab the files without looking at the new worker profiles or pictures, you lumber towards the meeting room, which all the new workers waiting for you.
Letting out a final big sigh, you enter the meeting room with a big smile on your face, your anxious body flinching at how all the workers suddenly get up from their seat to greet you which you told them to sit and remind them not to do anything like that anymore. Your eyes wander at the three workers in front of you. Two female and only one male— your eyes widen at the male, a sudden flashback hit your mind which you trying to ignore. The male smirks as he noticed your expression changed when your gaze lands on him, unlike you, he didn't get any flashbacks or is surprised to see your presence here, it's like he knows you are here.
"I'm Y/N. I'm an HR manager here and I will be monitoring you all as you work here, I will ensure everything gonna run smoothly in the department. If there's a problem you can talk to me or Miss Jung" you announced with a slightly trembling voice.
After the short meeting ends, you lead the touring session, showing the new workers, the departments or rooms they should mark in their heads as long as they work here. From your side eyes, you notice, Heeseung's gaze never leaves you but you choose to simply disregard him. Although your body and mouth explain about the department, your mind couldn't stop thinking why is Lee Heeseung is here, a new worker in your department? You are 100% sure he isn't interested in business courses. But humans changed, right?
The touring session ends perfectly after you hand them their temporary access cards. As Heeseung stepped in front to take the access card, he winks at you and quickly goes to his place before you could react to his flirty behavior. You mentally noted to yourself, act professionally this is not 3 years ago. You dismiss yourself and go back to your room, sitting on the comfortable chair while looking at the ceiling, no matter how hard you tried, you can't remove Heeseung from your thought which made you angry. He is the one who tosses you out from his life and now you're the one who suffers from the consequences? Why it is so hard to get Heeseung out of your mind?
From your panoramic windows, you could clearly see Heeseung so focus on his paperwork although he seems so clueless about it. Does the training before he enters the company didn't enough for him? You wonder if he abruptly steps away from his music career. Heeseung you know, loves music so much to the point he wouldn't care if he ended up living in a small studio for his entire life. Why would he suddenly become an HR assistant in your department? You realized you stare at him for so long when he caught you and wink at you with a smirk appearing on his face. You roll your eyes at him and focus on his work, 3 years ago is not the present, so stop thinking about him.
A sudden knock on your door makes you squeal as you really into your paperwork, lazily you look up to the person that has been knocking on your door. You sigh as you saw Heeseung, smiling widely as he enters your room. You raise your brow as he stands awkwardly in front of your desk instead of sitting on the chair. From your perspective, he looks so dumb right now, oh how you wish you could capture this moment and post it on social media, letting everyone knows– Lee Heeseung a heartthrob university is a dumbass.
“Sit” you order, immediately the tall man in front of you takes a seat and hands you some files that have been untouched on his desk, of course as his senior, you need to look at the new worker, to ensure they do their job perfectly or not. To your satisfaction, the two lovely female workers did a great job on their first day, focusing on their works, making sure the paperwork hands in on time, not daydreaming and sketching on a piece of paper like the person in front of you.
“You say I could ask for your help or Miss Park’s but I only see you now, could you help me with this, I’m a little confused” Heeseung begged. You lick your dry lips and give Heeseung your fake smile while you're cursing him real bad in your head.
“First of all, it’s Miss Jung, and second of all, didn’t you attend all the training that the company has provided?” You ask, putting all of your and Heeseung’s history aside, you mad at him for not taking his job seriously, there are plenty of people who are desperate to get a job and there’s him, having no clue what he should do
“Please, you know how math and I didn't make good chemistry, right?” he pouts, oh you used to fall for the cute of him.
“Heeseung it’s a statistic!” you yell-whisper at him.
“It's still math” he answered, leaning back to the back of the chair. You shut your eyes tight, you just know this gonna be a long day for you and him.
Tumblr media
It’s been a month since Heeseung works with you, to your surprise Heeseung only sees you talk about works, nothing more. You mentally curse yourself for having bad suspicion towards him. Of course, he doesn’t think about the past since both of you are mature now, three years ago means nothing to him. You marched toward your company cafeteria. Usually, you would eat at a cafe outside your company to avoid socializing with your colleagues but not today since you are too lazy to drive to any cafe and decide to have lunch at your company’s cafe instead.
You take your seat near the window, you prefer to eat while watching outside scenery. Grabbing the steel chopsticks that you took earlier, you began mixing the bibimbap you bought, you couldn’t hide your smile as the rice mixed smoothly with the vegetables.
“Can I sit here?” You look up just to see Heeseung showing his Bambi eyes to you, and with his alluring voice, there’s no way you would say no to him. You nod as respond and focus back on your mixed rice, letting out a small sigh as you hear the sound of a chair being pulled by him. You glimpse at his food, ramen. You scoff, he never gets tired of that instant noodle.
“Don’t judge me, it’s been a while since I have ramen” he said, he could see your judging expression as he placed his food on the table. You look up at him, giving him a sly smile before continuing to eat your lunch.
“You have no friends here or what?” he asked again, his voice are low, maybe showing sympathy or maybe not to sound rude.
“I tend to not make friends here” you hinted, Heeseung is not stupid, he knows what you mean by that. Heeseung clicks his tongue and slurps his hot noodle broth, he is too hungry and tired to have a chat with you.
The next day, you enter the elevator, lucky for you the elevator is empty, so you don't have to deal with crowded people for today. Perhaps your luck is available for a short time as the elevator stopped at another level, Heeseung step into the elevator, smiling to ears seeing you alone in the elevator.
“Good morning, senior” he greets you, his tone was energetic, but you couldn't care less, every morning was blue to you. Heeseung decides to stand beside you whereas the big elevator has so much space. You still keep your mouth shut, you don’t have any intention to talk to him or befriend him. As you inhale the air, a certain smell made you suffocate, the scent that was so familiar to you.
“Give me all of your hoodies, Hee” you pout, turning your face to him while leaning on his chest. Heeseung laughs seeing your cuteness, his hand didn’t stop playing with your hair and his other hand softly pinch your cheeks. Heeseung then leans onto you to give a peck on your lips.
“Of course baby, but you should give my other hoodies back, it doesn't smell like me anymore” Heeseung cooed. You grin as he knows you just want his hoodie to smell his scent.
“No, but your scent is so sweet, it feels like aromatherapy for me” Heeseung laughs at your statement, he doesn’t regret spending so much money on branded perfume despite being a broke college student, he loves the way you adore his scent.
“I should spray this on every clothes on my wardrobe” he jokes
You quickly turn your head towards him, seeing him act as nothing happens to embarrass you, you remember so well this scent of the perfume he uses when both of you used to date.
‘Stop with your overthinking, he could use any perfume he wants!’ you thought you are mad at yourself for always thinking that Heeseung reappear again in your life in the past, you need to stop being suspicious towards him, back then you and Heeseung are still kids. You should be nice to him as his coworker.
After you eat at the company’s cafeteria for the first time, you find yourself often lunch at the cafeteria as you realized, the foods there are delicious and worth the money, and needless to say, Heeseung becomes your lunch buddy. Being an extrovert he is, Heeseung summons everyone in the department to have lunch with them. At first, you seem uncomfortable with many people around you when you’re eating, but Heeseung somehow always make you pleased with his minimalist gesture such as you realized he always intercepts every time some of your workmates try to make conversation with you, knowing how you hate socializing with others.
You choose to sit at the end of the bar table, enjoying your fried rice, ignoring all of the chatters of your colleagues. You feel slightly jealous of Heeseung, making new friends and socializing with strangers is nothing to him, oh how you wish you can befriend everyone, your introverted self is killing you at this point although you are used to it.
"Attention please!" Heeseung half screaming, you look up to his sly smile, those little brain of him always full of ideas.
"Tonight we're gonna do a dinner party, it's all on me don't worry" he announces, and looks at you just to winks at your flustered face. You only could slowly exhale your breath, well a dinner party wouldn't hurt your introverted side right?
The sound of glass clanging and chattering liven up the small restaurant that night. Although you still feel awkward socializing with others you are comfortable around them, finally, there's a fire that burns the word 'boring' in your life. You turn around at Heeseung who sits next to you, a silent gasp escaping from your mouth as Heeseung already wasted and his face slightly red from the Soju he had earlier. He leans on the backseat with two buttons open and his styled hair already messed.
“Hey, you good?” you asked, earning a thumbs up and scoff from Heeseung as a reply. You grab your bag, deciding to leave as your social energy drained, all you need is a warm bath and some books to read on Friday night.
Before you could get up from your seat, Heeseung softly grabbed on your forearm, with half-closed eyes he looked at you deep in the eyes, not blinking for a second.
“I miss you Y/N....”
Your heart raced as you heard his mumbling, you let out a nervous laugh and remove his hand from yours. Your eyes never leave him, just want to make sure if this is the real Heeseung or the drunk Heeseung speaking to you. Seeing him lean back and take another glass of alcoholic drink on the table reassure you that he isn’t in the right state of his mind. without another word, you quickly make yourself out of the restaurant, your mind couldn’t stop thinking about Heeseung’s word just now.
Lee Heeseung never made your live in peace, didn't he?
Tumblr media
It’s finally your favorite day of the week– Sunday. The only day where you don’t have to think about anything other than yourself only. Picking the hot pot from the stove, you place it on the potholder. You swore nothing can make you this happy other than instant noodles in front of you. Eating instant noodles on your day off while rewatching your favorite k-drama.
A chime sound from the door makes you frown, why must someone have to spoil your me-time? Lazily, you get up and plod towards the door.
“Y/N...”
Your breath hitched seeing Lee Heeseung in front of you with his blue hoodie and loose jean, his infamous style back in University. You didn't know if you want to let him in or not, you were still not ready to meet him after the ‘i miss you incident.
“Please spare me one more chance, Y/N” He confessed
“Please spare me one more chance, Hee” you cried, tears streaming down on your face, you grabbed onto Heeseung’s sweatshirt sleeve tightly, afraid if he would leave you.
The weather that day is so melancholy— dark clouds hid the sun and gentle wind hit both of you. This past 3 months, you made every effort to make Heeseung stay as you could see him grow distant from you and rarely update you about his daily life. You trust Heeseung so much, you know he acts like this not because he has another girl it’s because his passions for music grow each day to the point he feels that everything doesn't matter to him anymore including you.
You love Heeseung, you support him no matter what but he decides to break your relationship apart, you can’t accept it. There’s just another way to make him stay. But your 3 months efforts are just like a joke to him. He didn’t understand why you want to fight for this relationship when he strongly agreed to himself that having a significant other would destroy his music career.
He used to love you, but he loves his career more than you, the music career is his number one priority, others might worry about his passion for music, it seems he has some mental illness or something nevertheless he cares about others and keeps working hard to achieve his dream. His only dream
“I’m sorry Y/N, I just don't see us in the future” he insisted
“Hee, please think—”
“Y/N, enough. Just find another guy that is better than me, okay?” he reassured her, slowly removing her hand from his sleeve.
Without a tiny bit of guilt in him, he lightly steps backward, smiling at your swollen face
“Thank you for the memory Y/N, I appreciate you for coming into my life although for a while!”
And with that, his figure becomes smaller and disappeared from your retina.
Awkwardly you wipe off your tears and grip your fist hard. Praying for him to get hit by a bus on the way home.
“Let me remind you, this was what you wanted. You ended it by yourself Lee Heeseung” it’s been a while since he heard his government name.
“I know, Y/N this is all my fault. After we broke up I felt empty, I shouldn't leave you so easily, I miss you Y/N... I can’t bring myself to talk to you this past three years, I'm too scared to hurt you again” he cried.
Heeseung is like a mirror to you, so desperate to make one of us stay, just like what she did 3 years ago. the fact he was scared to hurt her is total bullshit when he broke her when he exit from her life.
“If you were on the same paper as me back then, we will be happy now” you remarked. Crossing your arm in front of your body, honestly, you didn’t feel anything to see Heeseung pleaded to back with you, it feels like three years ago was yesterday, the agony in you comeback like in the blink of an eye.
“Please Y/N I'm so stupid for what I did back then—”
“Heeseung, enough. Just find another guy that is better than me, okay?” you repeat his sentence, showing him how deep you were badly affected by his words.
Heeseung let out a sigh, he knows you will not change your mind. What was he thinking? Did you will easily fall back to his arm after three years? After he let you experience some worst type of breakup?
“You should go Heeseung” you demand, you didn’t even bother to hear him reply as you close the door in front of him. Your back lean on the wooden door, with such a slow motion, you felt your legs give up on you resulting in you sitting on the floor while hugging your knees.
“Y/N”
“Hm?”
“They said nothing lasts forever, so would you want to be my nothing?” Heeseung asked earning a playful slap on his bicep by you.
“Ouch” he groans and giggles at your reaction
“Shut up Hee, you sound like a loser!” you said, really hating on the cheesy pickup line he uses.
“A loser who wins your heart” he corrected, making you snicker, you turn your face to him and peck his cheek, he is adorable, oh how you wish you wake up to this face every morning.
“Why are you acting so cheesy, Hee?” you asked, grinning at his sulky face. He then grabbed you closer to his arm and kiss the top of your head, he loves to smell the scent of shampoo that you used.
“I don’t know, I just try to win your heart I guess” he said while intertwined your palm together
“You already win my heart, Hee” you said, kissing the back of his hand earning a short chuckle from him.
You cupped your hands over your mouth, afraid if your sniffle could be heard from outside. You are unsure what are you supposed to feel right now. Sad? Angry? Pain? You were too confused as everything that happens this is too overwhelming for you.
All Heeseung had to do was stay. Had you in the palm of his hand
Tumblr media
It’s been a week since the occurrence of Heeseung and you. You are glad he acts so professional about this and does not make a scene in the office, screaming for his second chance. You keep making yourself busy with paperwork as you were struggling to let that scene out of your mind, it’s still a mystery to you, why and when did Heeseung change his mind that cut off the relationship between the two of you was a mistake? As he constantly focuses on his music career.
A sudden knock on your door shocked you, you realized how deep are you in your thoughts instead of doing your job. Seeing Heeseung stands in front of you awkwardly, making you nervous
Did he want to talk about it? Because you’re not ready at all
Without any words left from his pink lips, he places a white paper on your desk, you pursed your lips together. It’s not the first time you saw these white letters. The letters that every worker would give to you if they want to quit.
“Are this job is like a joke to you?” you asked, putting all of your personal feelings aside, this is about work and he is a new worker in the department and here he is, giving you his resignation letter.
“I’m sure you know, it’s not easy to recruit workers! They cost a lot of money and time, Heeseung!” you try your best not to scream in front of his perfect face.
“I’m sorry”
“You always such a burden Heeseung, you know, I don’t regret you left me”
Like a sword stabs him, Heeseung is in critical pain hearing your words. He knows you are furious at him and the harsh words you mutter out just now, you didn’t even mean it since you’re such a soft person. But Heeseung takes this as a sign for him to respect your decision, you clearly don't want his picture in your life anymore.
“I’m sorry Y/N—”
“Stop it, Hee—”
“Please just listen to me, for one last time” Heeseung begged, his eyes become teary, you decide to give him his last chance to speak.
“I’m sorry for being such an asshole back then, I thought music are my everything but when we broke up, I felt really empty even I'm in a studio, writing some songs, that’s when I realized I fuck up” Heeseung imparted
“And it such a stupid move to beg you to be with me after three years. It’s too late, it could be easy if I stay” he chuckles
Your heart softens at his words, at least you know all the tears you wasted for him are worth it as he also suffers from the breakup.
“I forgive you Heeseung for breaking my heart” you laugh and smile at him, a friendly smile.
“We were kids back then I hope you find someone who you truly love and make sure to appreciate them!” you advise him.
He softly laughs at your words, for the last time he looks you in the eyes, the determined eyes that don’t want him to go inside your life again, at least both of you end things nicely this time, no tears and screaming.
“Goodbye Y/N”
Heeseung leaves your room, he doesn’t go back to his place but straight to the elevator, you didn’t even bother to call him back, you really glad that he respects your decision and it is best if both of you not seeing each other anymore.
On the elevator, Heeseung let out a shaky breath, restraint himself from crying, all of the memories of you and him wandering free in his mind.
If only he stays...

The Tonight Show
>> Versão em PT-BR
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry, english isn't my first language! Hope you all like!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it for our friend and singer Harry Styles and his friend and new Marvel's actress, Y/N Y/LN!" Jimmy raised his arms pointing to the stage entrance and Harry and Y/N entered side by side.
They smiled and waved to the audience, who returned the whistling and clapping.
Harry greeted Jimmy with a brief hug and Y/N did the same, giving kisses.
Jimmy pointed to the two dark armchairs next to his table and Y/N sat down next to Jimmy and Harry next to him.
The whistling and clapping ceased. They were both smiling for the cameras and sure enough, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon was scoring very high ratings.
"Great to have you here, everybody! " Jimmy started "We've been on this marathon interviewing friends in the business world and you're closing with a bang!" there was some applause "How long have you been friends?"
Y/N and Harry looked at each other and posed as if they were thinking.
"About three years, right?" Y/N looked at his friend, who agreed. "I wasn't so well known yet, I was participating as a co-star in This is Family, Harry was very nice to send invitations to everyone to his show. From that moment on, we started our partnership."
"Very nice that! And you must hear this question a lot..." a chill went through their stomachs, they knew what it was going to be "Nothing ever happened between you?" Jimmy let out a chuckle and their cheeks flushed.
It was more the discomfort of the question than the act that never happened. They were very close friends, nothing more than a tight hug and kisses on the cheek.
On social media, it was clear that Harry was the friend every woman would want to have, and to S/N fans, there was nothing going on between them since she had a few quick flings with Chris Evans, but only one person knew how much Harry was in love with his best friend, ever since he saw her in the sitcom she acted in, it motivated him to give input to the cast. He himself was that person. He wanted to see if the energy she conveyed on the small screen was the same, but it wasn't. It was simply much better. Y/N was Harry's fit, he had known that since they had spoken in person and Harry had already pulled strings to keep her around.
"No, we never had anything." Harry answered.
"Okay!" Jimmy joked making a funny face. "Kidding guys, it's uncomfortable this kind of question, but I think that just like me, your fans also think that you would make a cute couple."
"We see this a lot on twitter, I often take screenshots and send them to Harry, we laugh a lot, but we have a mutual respect. " Y/N tried to close the subject.
"And about your new song, Harry..."
Tumblr media
"We are back with our guests, guys, and they agree to play our "hit the target" game!" Jimmy pointed to three dolls with the picture of himself, Y/N and Harry. There were scores written on part of each one's body.
"It's just a game, but we want to test your aim!" Jimmy continued "As you can see, there are points on every part of our body. Whoever manages to get the five arrows with the most points can choose a charity to donate 50 thousand dollars!" Harry and Y/N clapped side by side again "The loser will have to answer a question from our little box." Jimmy waved a dark red cube and his friends agreed.
The game began with Jimmy aiming at the head height of his paper doll. He fired all five plexiglas and accumulated 100 points.
The next player was Y/N, who ended up taking off her heels to make her move firmer, being assisted by Harry, who made the audience gasp for the act of affection when he held her to take off her shoes.
Y/N shot the first one, hitting the heart of her dummy, starting with 300 points. The next two missed, and the last one hit his dummy's forehead, adding another 100 points.
Harry just looked at her amused. She was good at this, sometimes you guys played this at his parties, it was a game that got on his nerves, because he wasn't good at it.
"Come on, Harry!" The host handed the little arrows to Harry and he positioned himself as Y/N did, maybe if he followed her way, he would be able to hit more points.
Big mistake.
The first arrow hit his wrist, starting with ten points. He made a snapping motion of his neck, drawing a few laughs from the audience. Harry shot two more arrows, one of which hit his arm, and the other fell before it hit the dummy.
"I think it's those rings." He complained loudly and took them off, giving them to Y/N who put them on, showing his fingers to the cameras, making a joke to the home audience.
Harry pointed to the heart of his dummy. If he got it right, he wouldn't have to answer the question.
And he shot. The arrow made a turn and unfortunately stopped in his arm, giving him another 50 points.
Harry would have to answer the damn question.
He groaned in despair as Jimmy and Y/N celebrated their victory.
The announcer walked away and picked up the red box and waved it at Harry. Who pouted in disappointment, sure all his fanclubs would be commenting on his cute expression.
"Take a little paper and read it to us, Harry." Jimmy held out the box and Harry put his hand inside, feeling some papers on his fingers.
He moved his hand a little and brushed at a piece of paper. He unfolded it and read.
His breathing had suddenly become heavier. It seemed as if he was out of breath, his fingers holding the small paper trembled.
"Er... Your challenge is: declare yourself to your crush!" The audience let out a few shouts and Y/N, always very expressive, opened her mouth and her eyes widened. Harry denied it with his head, laughing sideways, trying not to show his nervousness.
As close as they were, Harry didn't mention his girlfriends. She followed his fans that were also Harry's fans and sometimes she saw news about him dating some woman, but if he didn't say anything, it could be just his friends and if it was, she wouldn't invade his intimacy, she would wait for him to say something. Nothing had to be heavy in that friendship, she was aware of that, sometimes they would rather spend their time talking about random things like constellations and signs than their boyfriends and that was fine with her.
"Is this really necessary?" Harry asked in a playful tone.
Jimmy laughed and nodded positively.
They had formed a sort of open wheel on the stage.
"Come on, H! You can do it, because that's what I want to know too!" Y/N teased him.
He looked at her, closing his eyes as if she had failed in some secret plan of theirs.
"Okay... The person I like is very special..." He took a breath, playing with the paper in his hand "I won't say the name, but I will tell the situation we lived."
Y/N squatted down next to Jimmy, who hugged him in a friendly way while they listened to Harry.
"We were at a party among friends. We drank a lot, which we never did. It was on our friend's yacht, it was really an exciting day. I remember that we drank so much that this person... vomited a green liquid on my feet." Jimmy made a face of disgust and the audience murmured with disgust as well, Y/N remained static, because she knew this story. She had been there. She had vomited on him, which got a good laugh when she sobered up. "It's disgusting, I almost followed this person, but seeing this person so vulnerable, so sensitive in my arms... It made me see how much she was the perfect person for me, showed me how completely in love I was with her."
Y/N's heart soared, but as an actress who had conquered Hollywood, she made the best expression of curiosity, pretending not to know what it was all about.
"Do you have any idea who it is, Y/N?" Jimmy asked.
"I have no idea, I wish I could use my mind reading powers right now." She joked, referring to her character.
On the other side of the stage, there was an embarrassed Harry. His heart was tight, because he knew his best friend wasn't stupid and hadn't forgotten that day on the boat, when he took care of her, so much so that she slept on his lap and thanked him for it. He knew how spontaneous she was, he was dying for her to run out of Jimmy's side and jump on his lap and kiss him in front of everyone.
On the social networks, there was no other talk. Both of their names were at the top of the world trends topics, and in the news of the famous as well.
Y/N had donated the amount to the institution that cared for homeless people in New York. In a game of scenes, she returned the rings to Harry and didn't look at him, just went along with Jimmy's antics, leaving her friend completely out in the cold.
She didn't want to even think about it. Harry had never given the slightest sign of interest, he had gone out with a woman in the last few days... She was just another friend, no?
Jimmy thanked them both for their presence. They posed for some pictures with the host and the fans in the audience, both of them swallowing dryly and not looking at each other.
Soon the Y/N's accessory called her over and they left. She couldn't look at Harry, couldn't imagine that her favorite teenage singer, her current best friend, was in love with her, a foreigner new to show business.
Tumblr media
It had been 15 days since the show had aired. There was still some murmuring on the social networks, Harry and Y/N had come in to check what they were talking about and most had picked up on Harry's words, they had even gotten pictures of them both from the day of the party on the yacht. It was clear from the whole thing.
But they hadn't exchanged a word, their friendship was shaken and Y/N couldn't stand it anymore.
On her day off in London, she took a coat since it was autumn and considerably cold in the late afternoon. She had always been a person who liked to dot the i's and cross the t's. Why was she running away this time? It was Harry there. It was Harry declaring that he was in love with her. What was the problem? She had been in love with him since she was a teenager, the Hollywood world was attractive and fantastic, but to whom could she be sincere, be herself, be the Y/N who left Brazil in search of opportunity and conquered the world? Except for her family, Harry was the only person fit for the job. Him. Only him.
Harry lived a few blocks away, she closed the apartment door and left the condo, there were no paparazzi, not that she had seen.
She pulled up her black hoodie and put her hair over her face, walking quickly through the cold streets of the chic neighborhood.
Braving some closed pedestrian signals, she arrived after a few minutes at the brown stone wall and black gate.
She had the key, they were so close at that point. They trusted each other.
Entering and closing it quickly, she saw some lights on. Y/N hadn't wondered if Harry was accompanied by someone else, his producers or his family.
Her finger slid between the detailed gold knob and opened the door, the wind and the smell of Harry's perfume went straight to her nostrils, filling her lungs.
She stepped inside and took a deep breath. Her heart seemed to throb close to her throat, and as cold as it was, she was sweating.
"Harry?" She called out. "H?"
No sound, no "I'm here!" The alarms hadn't gone off, he could be in the shower or in the studio composing something.
"Harry! It's Y/N, we need to talk!" She said a little louder "If you're with someone, I'm leaving..."
She walked to the center of the huge decorated room, there were some golden items, it was Harry's face. Y/N smiled as she touched a beautiful vase on the table. She couldn't lose him. She loved him, loved his way, his voice, his everything.
"Y/N." She heard Harry's husky voice, behind her between two sliding doors. It was his home office.
Harry was wearing a robe, his face had a sad, tired expression. His hair was not as she was used to seeing it. It was just the way it was. His nose was red, as if he had just cried.
That was it.
"Hazza!" Y/n murmured, walking slowly over to him, who bowed his head in shame.
"What was it?" Without denying his Aquarius side, Harry answered short.
The woman took a breath of air, until she walked more quickly in front of her best friend, stretching her hands until she held his face and joined their lips.
If you could see their stomachs, it would be something similar to fireworks in Copacabana on New Year's Eve.
Harry pushed the doors aside and took his best friend by the waist, pressing her against him.
How much he had dreamed of this. How much he wished it would happen. Their lips were warm, their tongues met, caressing each other, the sighs were audible, Harry couldn't help but smile at that.
"Forgive me." Y/N pulled away minimally whimpering, stroking between his best friend's jaw and neck. "I'm not afraid when I'm the superhero, but in real life... I'm a coward."
Harry shook his head negatively.
"I shouldn't have exposed us like that." Harry passed his hand over his girl's face "But I had to tell the truth."
Y/N agreed, putting her arms around her best friend's neck, hugging him tightly.
"I'm glad you came." Harry murmured. "I couldn't stand another day without talking to you."
"Not anymore, babe. I'm yours from now on."

Firebird - Choi Yeonjun x (Fem) Reader
Tumblr media
Part of the Hamratia Collaboration by @delicatewerewolfsoul and @sleepylixie.
The artist is Choi Yeonjun, Greek god is Apollo and the deadly sin, pride.
Genre: Greek mythology/ ballet school AU, Angst, villain YN.
Word Count: 11 305
Warnings: Mentions of injury, swearing, the word boobs once, backstabbing (because that's showbizz babyyy), Villain YN, the tiktok audio "gatekeep, gaslight, girlboss" comes to mind, and the crippling pressure of never being perfect that is often found in any sport.
Description: Cupid might never be a victor when apposing Apollo in archery but he had still managed to bring the Sun God to his knees with a single of his arrows.
and he will continue to torment him for his prideful claims, for Daphne's heart will forever be pierced by Cupids led arrow.
Yeonjun, a principle dancer at the Laurier School of Ballet, had a lot going for him, he was from a well respected family within the performing arts community and had been granted a scholarship many in the school would envy him for. Sadly he did have one thing that was not going in his favour a rather tragic and unsuccessful love life, riddled with beautiful woman and men, even the lovers of his closest friends.
Until he one day finds himself Infatuated with a prize he could not attain.
A Firebird.
Honestly you could never tell if Yeonjun was actually naïve or just played dumb.
Girls and boys flocked to him and he seemed to fawn over whom ever piqued his interest most but it never lasted longer than a month, or someone cheated on someone or the relationship ended out being a fiery crash of hatred and venomous bouts in hallways with wide eyed audiences. Somehow he always acted as if he had gotten the short end of the stick, for a week forlorn before another beauty of sorts would be the centre of his attention. Sweet melodies would once again come from where ever he worked, a soft tenor promising spring and love and hope.
You steered clear.
If it wasn't an emotional roller-coaster enough being a double major, his affections would seem to be. No, you'd much rather work on your stubborn unsupple hips and relevés you always get scolded for than listen to whatever hot mess he had going on.
And god was it a loud hot mess. Your headphones blasting Dua Lipa wasn't even drowning out the heated argument between Yeonjun and his dance partner, seated in the corner of the massive practice room by the only corner without mirrors and filled with shelves for bags you keep your eyes on anything but the pair. You turn to face Jungkook who stood stretching as well but with none of the concerns of being caught as he watches curiously a humoured smirk on his lips. You had been lucky enough to be paired with the groups teaching assistant, just as well you were sure half the boys in your class couldn't even lift you. He senses your stare and looks down at where your sat opening up your hips his smirk stretching to a full blown smile, great at least someone was enjoying this spectacle. A shame really that the two strongest dancers in the class were paired up together for the showcase that would double as evaluations, it meant none of the other junior dancers would stand a chance at impressing anyone but also it was a shame that they also happened to be exes. You huff a small sigh through your nose as you get up from the floor and remove the headphones to put in your bag and to pull out the black training tutu. Jungkook had suggested it considering the challenge of the chosen dance itself that from the start you get used to how it would affect your movements, when he'd announced that the firebird pas de deux you'd nearly spilt more than half your coffee on him. It was insane, you'd thought, you were much better suited for contemporary styles and the Modern Jazz ensemble but Jungkook was patient and understanding most of the time as well as stern when necessary and since the performance would also affect his station in the school you didn't argue. Your fingers guide it over your stockings and over your leotard before fiddling where it had bent funny or folded. You turn towards the door a scowl set on your face at who ever barged in, you had booked the studio for the next three hours no one was supposed to come watch you clumsily stumble into Jungkook's arms.
A boy stood in the door way, eyes wide as it landed on you, you recognised him from around campus a friend of Yeonjuns and a classmate Seo Changbin. He wasn't all that tall but his black t-shirt was stretched taught over a broad chest and big arms, gaze sharp even hidden under his long dark fringe that swept over his forehead and eyes. His gaze matched yours and the unimpressed frown he wore disappeared for only a moment as it fell on you softening slightly as he held up a hand in a small wave to you and your partner respectfully. You dip your head in a nod as greeting before another angry curse draws his attention and yours to the bickering couple.
"Yeonjun-ah!" his voice was loud and sharp enough to make the two dancers stop.
"We will be late for class AGAIN, if you don't move your annoyingly firm ass NOW!" Yeonjun's eyes flickered to the clock above the doorway his friend had just burst through and cursed under his breath before running towards you and Jungkook to grab his bags leaving his dance partner to angrily stomp her way after him. You sweep past them in a wide arc and into the centre of the room as you test out the silky pointes arching up onto your toes and back down as you wait for Jungkook to plug in his phone to the sound system and start the music. He turns and nods at you and you take a step towards the edge of the room aware of the curious gazes on your figures. You stand ready and as soon as the whirring clarinet starts you start your leaping entrance before a twirling arabesque. One thing you cursed Jungkook for was that he managed to choose a dance that had you constantly moving. The door shut and announced they'd left leaving you to fight your way through the next three hours of strenuous technicalities.
Yeonjun would've applauded himself for his dress of choice the baggy grey sweatpants he wore over his tights and tight black t shirt he'd been training in had made it possible to switch out his own ballet shoes for some Jordan's easily enough before Changbin could pull him out of the studio by his hair. They managed to slide into the back seats of the lecture hall for music theory just on time.
"What's the dancer that was waiting with Jungkook Sunbae for you two to stop squabbling's name again?" Changbin murmured his gaze transfixed to the page of his notebook as he doodled away trying to force himself into a state of calm.
"Who?" Yeonjun frowned he hadn't cared much for the pair that waited, he was fully distracted by the small mistakes that his partner was making and would cost him his place as top student and his scholarship no doubt. Changbin looked up at him, any ounce of sympathy for his crappy partner and whatever patience he had left dissipated into the stuffy air of the dark lecture hall, how could he have so little care for the people around him daily? He'd seen you in the hallways with either a massive canvas bag or a baggy sweater over a leotard and skirt and always with a tight slicked back bun that emphasized a deadly serious gaze that often rolled back at the sight of them or rather Yeounjun and whomever he had hanging onto him that day.
"Oh you mean Y/N ?" Yeonjun eyes widened innocently, with the realization. Changbin nodded and Yeonjun shrugged his gaze lowering along with his posture as he slid down to slump his tired body into his chair.
"What about her?"
"Well... aren't they in our class? What do you think their presentation will look like? " Changbin inquired curiously as he watched his friend shrug again his eyes still trained at the slideshow the teacher was babbling over.
"Jungkook is the teaching assistant but he'd managed to pair up with a sub-par ballet dancer, poor guy. Her ankles are weak and she's too contemporary, her theatricality is commendable but mostly just makes her routines seem sloppy, why?" Yeonjun said with a small tug at the corner of his lips as he swept the dark black tresses from his eyes that never left their pacing lecturer. Because of this he missed the way Changbins irritated smirk dropped away, his lips pulling into an ugly straight line, an expression that had started showing more recently. He would agree there was room for an improvement, but there was for everyone in their class even the principle beside him. His temper was on a very short leash with his friend as he watched his arrogance grow after every break up. Yeonjun's love life was tragic, truly, and he'd feel bad for his friends pitiful attempts at relationships if he wasn't such a goddamn prick about it. Yeonjun had managed to date many a girl or boy that even his friends had some sort of interest in, always managing it in a way that made it seem he couldn't help himself and Changbin was tired of it, exhausted not even getting a chance. That small little proud smirk was still stuck on his friends face when he inquired once more.
"Are you not in the slightest bit worried that they might manage to out stage you?" Yeonjun had to muffle his loud 'Ha' with a cough as he snickered to himself his friends gaze growing darker as his frown deepened.
"Of course not but its cute that you worry for me 'Bin." Yeonjun answered with a sweet smile and a pat on the shoulder before focusing back on the class.
That would be it, Changbin thought, Yeonjuns own pride would be his downfall.
He'd make sure of it.
"Hi! Y/N, right?" the strange voice announced its presence loudly from beside the studio door, you're startled enough to drop the empty water bottle and your history book. To tired to even worry about it, you simply raise your hands over your eyes and sigh deeply, brushing the few loose strands that had managed to escape from the the gel and hairpins during the the gruelling three hour training session out of your face. One would imagine after two weeks your body would be used to it but alas. Every part of you ached, actually it was a relief not holding that 10 ton excuse of a book and you knew if you didn't open your eyes right away you'd fall asleep right there standing. You let your arms fall to your sides and raise your eyes to the culprit who stood holding your bottle and book a soft concern gracing his dark features.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mind to startle you like that." He apologizes but doesn't make a move to hand you back your belongings.
"It's okay I'm pretty jumpy by nature." You wave him off not even attempting to muster the frustration you probably should have felt.
"Have you been training for the last couple of hours?" Changbins brow furrows and his eyes trail over your figure clad in some sweatpants and your training jumper. You nod slowly and pulling your phone out of your bag to check the time you'd ran over time, since no one had booked the slot for the studio after. Jungkook stepped out of the studio dark hair swept back as he pulled on his own black hoodie.
"Oh Jungkook, just who I'm looking for." Changbin says and he rests a soft hand on your elbow as he gently guides you out of the doorway his other still holding your stuff before falling away as he stands beside you
"Changbin Madame Jeong spoke to me earlier. Are you sure about swapping places?" Jungkook gets straight to the point, his brow furrowing. Changbin couldn't blame him, being evaluated on your dance ability and your ability to choreograph a piece from scratch was completely different.
"It's not like I have much choice, Tzuyu won't be back anytime soon with a torn ACL." Changbin hears your shocked gasp, and turns his head to observe your hand over your mouth and eyes wide at the shocking news. With classes being suspended for the rest of the semester and such a large group few people had known of her injury.
"What's going to happen now?" You ask eyes wide with concern as you look between the older man and your classmate.
"Jeong had suggested Changbin take my place in your performance and I participate in my own years evaluation." Jungkook said with an apologetic expression down at you, your tired features barely even managed a proper frown.
"What?"
"It's still a month and Changbin is one of the best dancers in the group, you'll be fine." Jungkook wore a guilty expression as he scratched the back of his head as he watched your shoulders hunch over, folding in on yourself as you start to slowly loose hope.
"Hey! Don't do that, you know I'll even come help out if you need me!" he grabs you by your shoulders and force you to look at him, he doesn't break the stare down until you nod. You were furious, not only was this inconvenient but it would effect the outcome of the rest of your studies at this school. But you couldn't even muster any of the energy you needed to be upset about it after a gruelling session.
"Whatever," You shake Jungkooks hands off your shoulders and take your stuff from Changbin who'd been watching the exchange with a nervous nibble at his plump bottom lip.
"We're doing Firebird, I'm sure Jungkook will inform you of how atrocious I am." You turn on your heal and walk away because honestly, fuck that shit.
Tumblr media
"Hey I think we got off on the wrong foot I'm Cha-" Changbin stood leaning behind the studio door waiting for you to show up. You had contemplated not showing, because who cares at this point? Not Jungkook, not Changbin and certainly  not that piece of work director Jeong.
"I know who you are, don't worry." You interrupt him as you fiddle with a hair pin that was practically indented into your skull with the way you had furiously stabbed it into the bun. Changbin to his credit musters the decency to look guilty.
"This isn't ideal for either of us but I have faith in us." Changbin says softly and you nearly bark a laugh in his face, you instead settle for a scoff. Yeah, sure he'd be fine he was a top student, technically near perfect almost better than Yeonjun only lacking the physical stature that would be needed to accommodate taller partners, where you're bottom tier at least in ballet, a charity case and no doubt a relief to be rid off, Jungkook was probably ecstatic knowing you weren't his responsibility anymore.
"Yeah, we'll see how you feel after the next three hours buddy." You pat him on his shoulder before brushing past him into the studio at 12 sharp. Changbin with a frustrated glower follow you, you weren't going to make this easy.
He steps in to the sound of Yeonjun's ex yelling at his friend and he can't help but feel a little better about this mess, he doubted you'd snap at him like that.
Your judgement was obvious, your face like an open book as you observed the pair going at each other. But it wasn't just disapproval, it was a corner of a lip tilted in a smile laced with pity. Changbin just wasn't sure if it was for Yeonjun or his partner.
He guessed it was the latter rather, by his past experience of being pinned with a scrutinious stare every time he was with his friend.  You weren't part of the plan in anyway, in fact he really was praying to what ever immortal beings existed in the realms of the heavens the two of you would perform a passable performance at least, but there was always another way to throw Yeonjun of his game.
Love.
His ex was playing a big role in her reluctance to cooperate and he didn't even have to do much about it, in fact Changbin didn't have to do anything about it but that wouldn't be enough. It wasn't Yeonjuns first challenging partner, he'd manage, highly stressed but he'd still  do his best.
"Changbin?" Your voice breaks his stare from the pair as they train through their rendition of Apollo and one of the muses dance and he notes that you're already in the black tutu over your not so traditional leotard. It wouldn't be a problem if the zip that ran down it's front was done up like most other students wore it. He swallowed hard, he didn't blame you, he'd heard that leotards were constricting, he just didn't realize it would do a better job than a push up bra.
"If you're done could we possibly get them out of here?" He doesn't miss the small smile that graces your features before turning around to face the mirrors and finish your stretching. Changbin clears his throat as he quickly changes out of his sneakers.
"Yeonjun, times up!" His voice booms over the music and shocks you enough to come up from the back bend you'd been stretching in, unwinding a supple arch until you're stood straight again, only to be met with a different sharp gaze from under black strands. Yeonjuns dark eyes are trailing over your torso as he makes his way over towards his bag, you keep your face straight as your fingers find the zip on your front, you taunt him a small drag down, his tongue sliding over his full bottom lip, before zipping it all the way up.  You keep yourself from laughing at the way the softest pink dusts his cheeks and his eyes divert as you pass him, you'd think they'd never seen a pair of boobs before the way these boys were acting.
"You ready?" Changbin calls over, his brow raised. He hadn't missed the brief exchange and you meet his gaze.
"I am, but do you know the choreography?" Your brows raise and Changbin gives you a smug little smirk as  answer and starts the music.
"ohmygod you're worse than Jungkook!" You babble. You swear you can hear your hips breaking as Changbin pushes down through his arms keeping your knees on the worn hardwood floor. Solid, warm muscle is pressing into your back as he leans over you.
"Stop complaining it's only a few more seconds." He huffs out, but when you tilt your head up you're met with a grin through your watery eyes. The timer goes off and you suck in a deep breath as Changbin lets you relax out of the pose. The session had been hard, he'd managed to point out technicalities that Jungkook had managed to miss or rather chose to ignore when he suggested cooldown your legs nearly gave out, it was outrageous the best modern dance program at a fucking ballet school. You weren't built for this. You lie back with a huff and watch as Changbin sets another timer.
"More?" This was crazy and he shakes his head with playful grin.
"It's only helping you." He points out and takes your now sweatpants clad legs and straighten them out for you before taking one ankle and pushing it up and towards your chest. This isn't nearly as difficult but it was uncomfortable. His arm that wasn't holding your leg was pushing your hips down to assure it from lifting and although he was sat kneeling between your legs he was still half hanging over your face. Sharp cologne, mixed with sweat was filling your airways and a thin silver chain dangled from around his neck as his he watched you. You clear your throat and head of all of your inappropriate thoughts.
"How'd you know the choreography?" You ask softly but jot your chin out just a little to assert yourself more.
Changbin smiles down at you.  The last three hours had been the most time he'd spent with you, in the last two years and he couldn't help himself, he enjoyed your company. Your confidence, your focus and drive. Your being aware of yourself, wo you are and your bold assertion of it had made him more comfortable than intimidated.
"Jungkook and I ran through it last night after you threw a temper tantrum and ran off." He watches your eyes roll dramatically ready to snap back at him with something sarcastic or mean but he doesn't give you the chance too.
"I'm also pretty familiar with it, I've done parts of it before." Your mouth closes and brows knit in a frown at the interruption and he chuckles at the expression. His fingers trail along your calve softly as he sits back and releases his grip on your ankle to do the same with the other one. But when he leans back over you his face is serious, brows drawn pensively together and lips in an angry line.  You leave it, to tired to pry.
"Y/n... I- what would you do if I made a proposition?" His sharp stare flicks from where it was staring at the floor and to your face and you squirm slightly.
"Depends, what's in it for me?" Your voice is low as each of you regard the other with hesitancy.
"An A+." Changbin answered and you laughed.
"You're funny."
"Y/N. I'm serious." You settle down and he pins you with a determined stir.
"I want to beat Yeoujun. I want his scholarship, and I want principle."  Your eyes widen at that. You didn't have much against Yeonjun besides the fact that he was annoying and reeked of talent but did nothing with it.
"That's a little harsh isn't it? I get principle but the scholarship? Aren't you guys friends?" You inquire curiously and Changbin lowers his head to avoid your gaze. When he looks back up his tongue is stuck in his cheek as he grins.
"You'd think? Either way he sure as hell doesn't fucking act like it." He says it with a little bitter chuckle. The two of you sit in that loaded silence, filled with secrets, and revenge and jealousy for a moment just staring at the other.
"What do you say?" He's leaning closer and his words just above a whisper as he continues to regard you a moment longer, eyes flickering over your face trying to read your expression the tension was palpable if you stuck out the tip of your tongue you'd taste it and Changbins lips.
The glass doors click open.
"Am I interrupting something?" A familiar voice calls and dripping with smugness. Changbin watches as you roll you eyes and sits back with a little smile as he lets go of your leg and ankle. Yup, definitely the right candidate.
You sit up from the floor and look over at the door where Yeonjun is leaning a little grin on his face as he takes in the sight of the two of you, Changbin idly resting in between your thighs.
"It's called stretching, I'm sure you've heard of it before. You know, being a ballet dancer and all?" Changbin retorts and helps you to stand. His hand rests softly in the small of your back and gives it a soft pat  to nudge you towards your bags. You zip the leotard down again, so you can breathe and fiddle your phone out of your bag to check the time and slip your feet into your sneakers. You still had 20 minutes of your session left, how rude.
"She joining us?"
"I can hear you." You voice is sharp as you basically rip your bag off the ground and walk towards them. You pause beside Changbin shifting your weight to one side as you cross your arms over your chest and let your eyes wander over Yeonjun's figure,  tall and strong and delicate features, gender envy if you've ever seen it. God he was perfect, so hopelessly beautiful and and torturously seductive, strong figure dressed in a white shirt taught across his chest and sweats hanging dangerously low on his hips.
"I'll do it." You turn your head and face Changbin who tries his best to hide his panic.
"What? Join us for dinner?" Yeonjun scoffed.
"Oh, how lovely I've been upgraded from object to person worth addressing directly. No, I would rather not join. " You retort and turn to face Changbin and soften your features in a smile as you let your hand rest on the tan skin of his bicep. The same one that had effortlessly lifted you into the hair for two hours as if you were air.
"I'll text you."
Yeonjun watches you with an aghast smile as you push past and waltz out of the doors.
"Quite the partner you got there." Changbin had been watching your figure through the glass doors and smiled to himself.
"Sure is."
The door clicked shut behind them and Changbin tossed the hood of his black hoodie over his still slightly damp hair as they made their way out of the building.
"How's your training going?" Changbin inquired out of courtesy. Yeonjun had been breezing through the almost abandoned school hallways beside him almost without a worry.
"I think she'll claw my eyes out, maybe it'll be a good thing, then I can't see all the mistakes she's making." Yeonjun huffed his arms that he'd stretched up and above over his head flopping to his sides on frustration and Changbin laughed a little at that.
"How about you?"
"It's only been a day, but she's really not as bad as you make her seem. I've never met someone who works so hard in something she won't need." Changbin shoved his hands into his pockets as they make their way across the parking lot.
It was true. Despite your complaints about stretching, you'd let him run you through every part of the routine without any reluctance. Everytime he stopped and restarted, picking at a millisecond misstep, a finger a touch out of place, or an arm not soft enough, you'd let him do so without even so much as slight glimpse of reluctance. You'd take the critisism and focus on improving every single time, Jungkook had also managed to pick a character that suited your theatricality Yeonjun had previously criticised you for. You had even managed a lack of reaction at his fumbling in the different lifts, patiently letting him get used to it.
"That doesn't always make you good." Yeonjin pointed out as Changbin unlocked his car. Changbin had to keep himself from trying to rip his driver side door off at the sudden comment. Instead he takes a moment to pause as he leans against the car roof.
"What? Was that a little harsh?" Yeonjun said in a rather insincere tone from across the car roof.
"Get in the car." Changbin grumbles in answer.
"Forget about the evaluation for a second." Changbin mumbles through a mouthful of burger. It wasn't the best dietary choice but it had been a while he'd worked so hard for such a long duration of time, not because he had to make up for what you lacked but because your determination to do well fuelled him to do the same. Yeonjin was eating away at a plate of fries and looked up at his friend curiously.
"What do you think of YN?" Yeonjun pauses slightly.
There was no denying it, there wasn't many dancer's like you at Laurier, there was actually no other dancers like you. You were an enigma. Few would suffer through years of dance programs that weren't related to their focus, or even suffer through entrance exams in forms that weren't trained just to follow their dreams. Besides that, you held a seductive air, it was part of your muscular, curvier build that many of the female ballet dancer's lacked. You were stronger, your leaps and jumps far higher than most of the female student body and closely matching some of the boys in the classes best even. Your eyes were definitely what had caught Yeonjun's attention but not because they were a particular colour. Rather it was the firey emotion that constantly burned in them. You were passionate. Whenever his eyes met your sharp gaze he saw flames burn, gold and warm.  And he'd be lying if he didn't say he envied it, just a little.
"She's pretty."
Changbins brow raises as if implying, that's all?He knew Yeonjun to well and there was clearly more to the loaded statement.
"Fine, she's more than pretty, but does that really matter? Let's be honest neither of us have been big on locker room talk 'bin." Yeonjun says pointedly and Changbin nods pensively gazing up at the ugly florescent lighting in the dingy diner. He guessed that's maybe why Yeonjun had swiped Felix out of his grasp in an instant. Because Yeonjun never cared much to discuss whom his friends might be interested in. Either way, Changbin doesn't see Felix around anymore unless he passes by a room scheduled for the younger groups ballet sessions.
"I guess you're right. I'm just asking, because I like her shitty attitude and I know most of the girls are stuck up but her words have a bite to it that I think makes her different." Changbin says out loud and steals a fry from his friend who looks him on affronted. But the words are heavy on his ears. Yes the bite, fire. Yeonjun thought, fire that burns red and angry.
"You have the weirdest taste."
"Yah, we have the same taste so don't go around insulting me just yet." Changbin said and tossed a piece of lettuce at Yeonjun but it fell short next to his plate instead.
"Yeah well, you're on your own this time." Yeonjun scoffed and wore half smirk as he picked up the glass of ice water.
"Are you sure?" Changbin said softly his sharp chin resting on his hands as he stared at his friend, eyes narrowed. Yeonjun didn't like it. Like he knew that it was a desperate dismissal of obvious attraction. His critique of your horrible technique and inexperience was something he's used to brush off his crush in his first year at the school because how could you ever be what he wanted ? You sucked and had no friends, in all honesty you were extremely bad then and he couldn't help but wonder how the fuck you made it all the way to third year evaluation.
"I think you're lying." Changbin said with a tiny smirk one that most definitely had the devil hiding behind it.
"I don't think you just happened to remember her name Yeonjun." Changbin said and chuckled as he pulled his wallet out and dug out some cash that he put on the table to cover their dinner.
"You're delusional." Yeonjun hissed and shot him a glare as he collected his bag and hoodie. Changbin was halfway to the door when he turned to face his friend again.
"And you're a terrible liar."

The atelier was empty except for the three of you. The blonde was tall and lanky, built like a dancer himself but here you were, at a fashion school. When Changbin said  he knew someone who could help with costumes you hadn't expected this.  You hadn't expected him to drag you halfway across the city in a really nice car on a Saturday morning, picking you up with a bag  filled with a white tutu in your size and some craft items to take you out to a completely different art school.
"Changbin, I hate you."
"Come on! Hyunjin you have a costume design practical next semester and all you have to do is decorate a to and spray paint a white tutu red." Changbin tried to reason but the tall, handsome man remained unimpressed.
"I hate you." Hyunjin seems to stand his ground as he stares down his shorter friend, you bite down on your lip at the exchange and your eyes widen slightly as his glare lands on you.
"But I'll do it. Only since I'm poor and you're paying rich boy." Hyunjin held up a finger before dramatically sweeping long blonde hair out of his face. You feel a sigh of relief pass through your lips for some reason.
"Also your partner is stunning." Hyunjin said with a vapid flap of his one hand in the direction where you sat. You raise your brows and smile as Changbin shoots you a quick pained glare, "You'll have to give me her number so I can use her as a model in the future for a few projects."
You sit up a little straighter at the sound of that, Chin tilting up proudly.  It wasn't that you were insecure, that wasn't the case at all. It was just that you were constantly in an environment were the bone thin and light ballet dancer was the beauty ideal and you didn't match it. It was nice, getting out and being reminded that you're most definetly an enviable beauty for some.
"We'll do fittings at your school next week." Hyunjin huffed as he pulled out the things Changbin had brought along.
"Really?" Hyunjin holds up a black t shirt and Changbin shrugs.
"You're supposed to be a prince, I can't just make you un upgraded t-shirt!"
"I would like to state for the record, that I said that too." You raise your hand and Hyunjin slaps Changbin over the back of the head and you snicker that you hide behind a cough.
"Why won't you listen to her? You're a real piece of work."  Hyunjin shakes his head and lets out a frustrated huff before pulling the measuring tape around his neck and using a finger to tell Changbin to turn.
"It won't do, I'll make you a proper coat." Hyunjin started taking Changbins measurements, wen he said a number out loud you jumped realizing he was expecting you to write it down for him. You scramble and make your way over to the book on the table beside them writing down the numbers for him.
"Thank you for being such a wonderful assistant." Hyunjin says and his warm smile has your own lips tugging upwards.
"Anytime." you assure him and he surprises you as he takes your hand and plants a soft kiss on your knuckles before turning to face his friend.
"You. If you ever try to bring me a t-shirt and think you're overthrowing a prince with it again, I will choke you." Hyunjin scolds and you raise a brow at the title curiously.
"Prince?"
"Yes, its a nickname we gave Yeonjun since he has everything." Hyunjin explained.
"Everything?" You push and Hyunjin looks over at Changbin who gives a nod of encouragement.
"Yeonjuns always been a talented dancer and well, his family is pretty well off being some of the largest investors in the art community but he also has that wonderful scholarship that his dads company has at the school."
"It's his fathers company?" That was news to you, probably because you didn't have any friends to gossip with at the school.
"And everyone's okay with it?" You ask, your face unable to hide your obvious disgust.
"Well whats anyone going to do about it? Talk to Jeong? He's her prodigy." Hyunjin reasoned.
"But the students...", You try to reason and Changbins shake of his head shuts you up.
"Don't care, everyone wants to be his friend, fuck him or already has."
"On that solemn note, please leave so I can offer up my free time to this nightmare of a project." Hyunjin shoo's the two of you out.
Once you're buckled in the seat of the passenger side of Changbins car you wait patiently as he fiddles with the buttons on the stereo.
"What's your plans for today?" Changbin asks and you shrug.
"I don't have any, unless you want to train. In which case I'm fully booked." You can't help your smile as he cackles brightly.
"Wanna do something? I mean we haven't really had time to discuss any of our uh, approaches?" Changbin struggles to fine a subtle way to say revenge plot and this time its your turn to laugh.
"What did you have in mind?" Changbin grins and starts his car as an answer.
"Changbin I can't afford anything on this menu." You hiss with wide eyes and he waves you off, as if you weren't struggling to do the maths that would keep you from compromising your already strictly ramen noodle diet.
"It's my treat then." You can't help the grimace, what was it with these super rich art school kids. You sit back in the to nice chair and stare at his eyes wandering the menu.
"Why me?" His brows dip in question. "Why did you ask me to help you with the Yeonjun issue?"
An acknowledging nod signals his understanding but he's still quiet for a moment to long.
"Your a bit of an odd case. You seem to severely dislike him and well you are something he can't have."
"Please continue." He puts his menu down on the white table cloth gently before resting his chin on his intertwined fingers.
"The Choi's, as lovely and charitable as they are, expect  perfection perhaps not from everyone but definitely from their son." You sit upright in your seat, curiosity piqued.
"You aren't exactly what is considered to be daughter-in-law material and that's not because you aren't pretty enough because lets be honest you're gorgeous. It's simply because you aren't part of the family's close friends, specifically one of the shining stars." You can't help the blush tinting your cheeks at the compliment mid explanation and Changbin notices despite the extremely soft lighting casting a glow on everything, enough to give you a small smile and a coy head tilt.
"Yeonjun doesn't have a lot of options but his romantic escapades," Changbin breathes out a humourless chuckle, "Let's just say, that's how he rebels."
"That still doesn't explain my unattainability?" You raise a brow and sit back in your seat again.
Changbin reaches over the table, careful of the vase filled with bright orange flowers and takes one of your hands softly in his own, the action was odd but not enough to alarm you.
Yet.
"Yeonjun always wants to be the best and for a while, actually, too long he has been." Changbins eyes are trained on your hand, having turned it over so he could trace the folds and lines of your palm with his fingers.
"Y/N, it takes one simple challenge. A suggestion that he might not be the best and his pride would rule him. He'd be so focused on proving everyone that his station is deserved, that he is in fact the best,  that he'd be to blind to see his own downfall coming."
"He assumes that everyone has placed him on the same pedestal that he had placed himself on his entire life, so that the idea of someone not doing so doesn't exist to him."
Changbin looks up from your hand dark glare trained on your face.
"You don't like him, and he can't believe it."
"You like me more, would rather be partnered with anyone but him?"
You nod slowly to confirm that Changbins observation is correct.
"He can't have that. He'll become obsessed with proving that you're wrong in doing so." Changbins gaze is back on your palm, his soft tracing sending a ghost of shivers down your spine.
"So not only aren't you what his parents expect but you also seem to have a solid dislike for him. It wasn't the plan, honestly." Changbin looks up at you hand squeezing yours now as if it would convey his promise as truthful.
"But it sure is convenient." You say lowly and he nods, suddenly not so sure about how good of an idea it was asking for help. He wasn't sure if the blank mask you wore could because of inner turmoil, for all he knew his explanation could have completely changed your mind in helping him out. He lets go of your hand, sliding his own back slowly his eyes fixed on your face waiting for your next reaction.  What it would be, what he was waiting for he didn't know but it certainly wasn't what he had expected.
The soft chuckle wasn't unwelcome but it was definitely confusing.
"Wow, how does that saying go? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer? Yeonjun took that pretty seriously, huh?" Changbin doesn't fail to see the irony.
"Don't get me wrong,  we were friends and in some twisted way I'm sure we still are."
"But?"
"But I'm tired of losing to him." Changbin slinks back into his seat hands off the table and falling helplessly to his lap.
You encourage him to continue by pouring water from the jug on the table into his glass as if its a stiff drink, like the one he seems to need.
"There was this one guy. Fuck, was it bad. He's sweet and his cheeks would squish up and make it impossible to count the freckles that was all over his cheeks and nose. I wasn't even crushing, I practically skipped that whole step and boy did I make it obvious." He was sitting back up and he wore a half assed grin one that held more than its fair share of sadness.
"No one missed it, so either Yeonjun was impossibly blind or clearly was trying to make a point." Changbin resorted to finally reaching for his glass of water but simply opted for staring at the droplets running down the side of the glass.
"So he swooped in, charmed the living daylights out of him before I could blink, promptly broke his heart and now Felix doesn't speak to any of us anymore."
"Felix? As in Felix Lee?"  The description Changbin had given wasn't terribly subtle, but it was still somewhat of a surprise.
"Yeah and unfortunately my friend didn't just betray me he broke my heart without even thinking about it twice or having the decency of  asking if my puppy dog eyes meant something."
The revenge plot was starting to make sense and as much as you didn't like Yeonjun, Changbin might've let it slip that his opinion of your ballet abilities wasn't the highest. Of course sticks and stones, but you couldn't help growing fond of Changbin a bit of a Dark cloud that hid a bundle of charm and softness that had seeped past your cold exterior. Dammit you'd even consider him a friend, your first at Laurier.
He was still clearly worried that whatever it was he was planning you'd say no too, weary glances from his hands on his glass to you. You offer him a small grin to soothe his worries.
"Oh don't worry, you still have me in your corner Binnie."  You say gently before sitting forward. "Now, what's the plan exactly?"

Yeonjun watched as your hair followed with your twirls, the red and gold feathers bouncing along with the tutu as you playfully one two stepped into a pirouette with a big smile, your eyes alight with joy as you giggled. The pretty glimmering costume sparkled brightly and he couldn't help but think that your smile seemed blinding in comparison. He'd never seen it before, such happiness coming from you while doing ballet. Granted, you were doing a terrible job at practicing proper technique or steps but the freely stepping to releve and the flowing of your arms  with the glittering feather arm bands made you truly seem like a firebird, free and joyous and beautiful.
Changbin was right the character suited you and perhaps he had maybe judged your talents as a dancer too harshly.
Your playful twirls excited grins and entertained light hearted chuckles from your audience, Hyunjin even going so far as to give you applause for your impromptu show.
"Okay, okay. Come here pretty girl so we can check that the feathers don't come off or it gets in the way." Changbin stood up his coat  black coat with the golden embellishments and lapels open over his white t shirt and he held out his hand for you to except. With a playful tug he pulled you into his chest where you giggled softly. Changbin held you in a couple of releve twirls before the two of you got serious as the two of you turned serious and he manoeuvred around the costume you to lift you as previously practiced.
Jealousy, it bubbled up inside of Yeonjun like a black sticky tar at the sight of you and one of his closest friends so comfortable with each other, in synchronization as if you two had known each other for years and not only two or three weeks.
This crush, or at least the acknowledgement was becoming dangerous. He was starting to fall back into his regular patterns, the ones he knew all to well. Looking for a specific head of hair in a crowd, a black zipped down leotard, eyes that burned with hellfire, without even thinking about it, second nature almost. He was on a downhill drop to being absolutely infatuated and this new version of you, free and happy it was only stoking the hearth in his heart. It wasn't helping his cause.
For once he felt like he'd lost to Changbin.
Be it because he knew you so well, or because he had the burden of being your partner or perhaps because he was the one to witness your joy or perhaps instigate it.
He'd never really been sure what incited your icy exterior and furious glares in his direction. He'd avoided you for most years  but now he was wondering if rather it was the other way around and why it was bothering him that you would.
He'd never considered himself to be narcissistic and yet, what would force you of all people to stay so far away from him? Few who weren't exes and even then few of those actively tried to avoid Yeonjun in the way he was quickly piecing together that you had. Finally it would seem you were in arms reach, not so far away. Changbin was his link to you now, he might just have a shot at pulling you closer, pulling you towards him, the same way you had started pulling him towards you.

The night had started off wild, with too many  beers and too many soju bottles littering the countertop of Wooyoungs apartment when the three of them left. That it was crazy getting more when they met up with a few other s but he didn't realize it would result in this.
"Yeonjun whats your deal man?" Wooyoung said bright smile and cheerful giggle following after as he slung an arm over his much taller friends shoulders and pulled him into a hug, never scared of affection but it was too much. It was a lot with the buzz and the loud music and the smoke filled air.
"I don't have a deal." Yeonjun grumbled but didn't even try to shove his friend off of him.
"He's just mad that my dance partner doesn't like him." Changbin said with a teasing lilt but that obnoxious little smirk was rubbing him wrong. This time he did shove Wooyoungs arm off of him as he stepped closer and peered down at Changbin, bare of the grin he'd previously worn. He wasn't tilting his head back to meet Yeonjuns stare no instead e simply looked up through his lashes his dark glare daring Yeonjun to  do what he so desperately wanted too, knowingly.
"Admit it, you're jealous." Changbin said softly the same smirk growing as he knew his words hit true to their mark. He could tell by the way Yeonjun stiffened.
"You can't have her, she doesn't want you." His words were barely a whisper but the way Yeonjuns anger was zeroing in on his friend, blocked out all other sounds, "And nothing you do will change her mind."
"Because she doesn't care and guess what? You aren't as fucking great as you think you are." Yeonjun shoved Changbin back and was ready to swing when someone pulled him back to no avail as he stepped closer to Changbin who promptly stopped him from landing any hits as he took a hold of his wrists before both of them were promptly ripped apart.
"Go cool off!" Wooyoung practically pushed Yeonjun into one of their other friends who was standing behind him as he pulled him away from Changbin who was steadied with a firm hand on Wooyoungs chest .
"Go!" Wooyoung voiced again, louder and Yeonjun ripped himself away as he shoved his way through the thick crowd.
This place had been playing tricks on his mind since he got here, what had brought Changbin to suggesting this place from their usual spots?
The energy was strange here, it was something other from just dancing in the air. No here, the thickness of lust and sex seemed to hang in the air. It was starting to make him act up in ways he never would've dreamed of.
Yeonjun swept the cold water over his face. This was outrageous he'd never even thought of picking a fight with Changbin at least not physically.  He breathed out sigh before sweeping the damp black tresses and back out of his face he straightened only to be met by the sight of you. He must be really drunk to be hallucinating now. He blinked hard and realized that it wasn't a hallucination. A bright yellow fish darted across his vision and his brain caught up with his vision. The men's room was separated from the women's by a bright fish tank, one that stretched its length glowing bright and filled with an array of both large and small colourful fish.
You haven't noticed him, eyes trained on the small compact in your hand as you reapplied the lipstick shade you had selected to wear for the evening.
It wasn't love at first sight. No, he'd seen you before, on numerous different occasions but now...
The sight of you sobered him up more than the cool water ever could, hair that was usually pulled back now framing your face, figure graced in a short white dress , with a generous neckline much like that leotard you favoured, the golden lighting above the individual sinks lighting up your skin made you glow.
It definitely wasn't love but something had changed, maybe it was him finally admitting his pining for you.
Your eyes caught his as soon as you snapped the compact shut, not a hint of surprise dawning on your features.
Instead you hold his stare as you put everything back into your small clutch a ghost of a smile on your face as you step back from the glass and walk away, only breaking the silent battle when the door hides your figure.
Yeonjun darts out of the bathroom and immediately seeks the figment of his imagination his head must of conjured because it was impossible, that you'd appear here, in the midst of all his way to high strung out emotions. He caught a glance of your figure sashaying through the crowds that seemed to move aside at the meer sense of your presence, everyone making space for you as you pass, to afraid to even graze themselves against you. Yeonjun squeezes through the gyrating figures,  tall long body squeezed out and pushed out of the way, his idea to follow in your wake becoming exceptionally difficult with each surge of the bass and bright flare of  light. White strobes creating stop motion images of the people dancing around him.
As he finally escapes the dancefloor he spots your figure leaning up against the bar, Changbin leaning over it as he whispers something in your ear that tempts a beautiful grin to your lips. Yeonjun immediately pushes away the ugly head of anger that threatened to instigate another fight and plastered on a smirk before sliding in beside the pair of you.
It was strange seeing him through the fish tank damp black strands hanging over his heavy lidded eyes and pouty lips parted aghast. You'd never seen him in anything other than sweats or dance clothes, you would be lying if you didn't say the white muscle tank didn't look good on him, long lean arms, toned enough that as he leaned against the sink you could see the way the muscles in his shoulders moved and now you could see he had paired it with some black jeans that came up high enough to accentuate  his enviably tiny waist.
"Changbin, sorry for interrupting but I'd like to invite Y/N to the dancefloor?" His eyes stayed glued to your face and you dared a glance towards Changbins whos dark analytical gaze encouraged you to play the game.
"And why would I dance with you?" You tease, acting coy as you fiddle a strand of hair around your index finger he bites as he leans closer with his hands tucked into his pockets.
"Well I don't believe we've ever had the pleasure of being partners and well it might be best in a space you'd be comfortable." He leans back with a grin one that so obviously says he's proud of his little insult.
"Is that so?" You barely keep the snappiness out of your tone as you glare him down. Yeonjun tries to suppress the chills the look is giving him. You hand your purse over to Changbin and walk past him a shove at his shoulder, your heels making you tall enough to dare the push without it seeming pathetic. Yeonjun chuckles incredulous before turning on his heels to catch up with your long strides, by the time he's close enough to reach you he realizes you've managed to find people that seem to be your own friends judging by their friendly smiles and the way they made space for you the song the DJ was currently playing resembled dance hall and all though he was aware that his mind severely undersold your dancing abilities he wasn't expecting the sight in front of him. With not a single care for the shortness of the dress or the vulgarity of the moves your hips seemed to lead your body in a seductive rhythm that had Yeonjun staring even if he was sure it was inappropriately. Every time you caught his eyes, your grin told him he'd lost. He didn't even stand a chance to start with. He would've had better luck in the dance studio.
It felt good, a different kind of thrill. Shutting him up even if it was for just a little while, especially after you heard what his opinion was of your dancing ability.
He trailed you back to the bar and with a defeated smile watched you order a drink.
"I have severely underestimated you, I apologize." Yeonjun says with that same small grin and a shake of his head and you beam.
"Apology accepted." You chuckle and brush your hair out of your face as you watch him.
"I really messed up." Yeonjun bites down on his bottom lip and you force your eyes away from his plump pouty lips to his eyes.
"Yes you did." You agree and he chuckles brightly and loudly.
"I meant," He steps closer, leaning down lips brushing up against your ear as he lowers his voice,"If I had just been honest with myself, you might have been doing those moves on me." He pulls back and your head is a whirlwind of thoughts. Honest with himself?  What was that supposed to mean? Either way it didn't matter, your stomach and well other parts of your body were fluttering dangerously at the implications of his words. Your drink arrives and so does Changbin who saddles up to your side comfortably, his arm wrapping around your waist and you let him so you can lean into his strong body and take some pressure of your feet in their heels. Yeonjuns gaze darkens.
"I'm happy we came, this place is way cooler than the uptight clubs we always go to." Changbin announces and Yeonjuns brow dips, he didn't think this place was all that great but judging by the sweat that was dotting his friends forehead, the music and his chosen partners were the reasons behind his high praise.
Your butterflies still hadn't calmed and the alcohol made you dare the chance.
"You finally ready to be my dance partner properly?" You shoot a grin in Yeonjuns direction, one he missed because he was busy staring at Changbins arm around your waist.
"Yeonjun?" You call and it finally seems to click you were talking to him.
"Of course." He dares a grin and bows slightly as he offers his hand formally, you scoff and with a roll of your eyes take the hand offered. He laces his fingers through yours and pulls you away from Changbin's grip only letting go to hold your hands up so you could spin.
One thing you realized,  Yeonjun was a sore loser. He'd stepped into your space as the songs continued to switch through the mix list, this only resulted in him proving his own ability to follow a beat in time with your movements. Pressed closer together the air only got stickier, and you could feel the cold drops of sweat running down your spine as time was lost to you and apparently all form of  rational thought too. It was only when a tender but heavy kiss found the back of your neck that you realized, you were dancing with the enemy in a way that could possibly have you arrested for public indecency. You took a step away and turned steeling your gaze so you didn't look like the deer in headlights you had suddenly become.
Because as much as shutting Yeonjun up was fun this was making you want to find out if there was other ways to have fun with him, you couldn't promise yourself you wouldn't end up in a more compromising position with him and that was definitely not the plan. You eye him for a moment his surprised expression, hair hangning in his eyes or matted against his forehead, in a similar manner to how the white tank was sticking to his chest hand reaching out to grab your hand again. You press past a couple and dissapear back to the bathroom.
So this was how people got swept up in the hurricane Yeonjun was. Distracted by the pretty lashes, sharp eyes that devoured you whole and those terribly soft lips. Ghosts of his fingers ran over your body, everywhere he had dared to touch so surely, the spot on the back of your neck burning at the memory of  the kisses weight. You dared a look into the floor length mirror parallel to the door you'd rushed through. He'd left you a mess, sticky with sweat and smudged mascara around your eyes, breathless and hair messy. You couldn't help but wonder what power it is he possessed to so easily dishevel your appearance.  You purposefully rub at the dark circles under your eyes and dare to pat some cold water to your neck to collect yourself before entering the fray again. It wasn't hard to find him, your body now drawing towards him like a magnet as if he was the sun, tugging you into his atmosphere, but the body plastered to him quickly stops you. Life had a lovely way of reminding you why you'd avoided the beauty, his gravitational pull always seemed to have room for more. With a scoff and a reality check you press your way towards the man that still had your bag. Changbin was stuck in a booth with some other friends your purse on the table in front, whomever he'd been dancing with earlier nowhere to be seen.
"I'm leaving." Changbin shoots up as you grab your purse.
"I'll come with you." He insists and just as you're ready to politely decline a voice interrupts.
"Y/N?" Yeonjun is beside you a hand on your shoulder, brows furrowed as if concerned but a quick peak over his shoulder makes you aware the guy he'd found wasn't hanging to far off . You shrug of his hand and fix your eyes on Changbin.
"That'd be great." Changbin follows after you, hand on the small of your back as the pair of you trail towards the exit leaving Yeonjun to watch after with an empty pang in his chest. He tried to will his feet to move after you but it didn't instead, he stood glued eyes following over the crowd as Changbin accompanied you out the door with his arm around your shoulder and you tucked into his side.

Yeonjun had been left to observe you from far away for the final week before the showcase, in passing when you came in to the studio with Changbin after his own practice slot. You didn't acknowledge his presence, instead focusing on the music or your practice tutu or your pointes instead of him.
But he chalked it down to you simply trying to focus on what was to come.
When he finally did get to see you it was minutes before your peformance, dressed in gold and red. Hair slicked back and a headband of red and gold feathers over it, even with the light from the stage you glowed, shimmered with beauty and charm as you warmed up, smiling at the stage hands that passed you. He came up beside you and for the first time in a week your eyes fell on him.
"YN, I just wanted to say goodluck and well I was wondering if when we could go dancing together again?" Yeonjun was leaning up against the bar you were busy stretching on.
You laugh soft enough to not bother the other performance but still full and hearty, Yeonjun raises a brow he hadn't said anything funny.
"Sorry its just, well you must be blind." Yeonjun takes a step back as he watches her lips quirk upwards. It was just the two of them and the stage hands, Changbin was in the other wing waiting for the curtains for the rendition of the dance of the snowflakes to end. No one to witness the mask that seemed to fall away from the beautifully painted face.
"You know at first I was jealous of you. Perfect, you. With the perfect scholarship, not that you need it because of your daddy. Then I was angry because how could you waste time like that and still be so good. Well now...", Firey eyes ringed with read eyeshadow and golden flakes, disdainfully drags over his figure from head to toe.
"Now I'm just disappointed."
"Yeonjun I hate you, but not because you ever even had the chance to break my heart because lets be honest I'm not half as dumb as you think." You stop stretching as you step closer towards him where he was now frozen in place.
"No, I hate you because you have everything,  all that you'd need to be the best but you're to distracted to ever reach your full potential."
"I don't need this, I'm a modern dancer, to contemporary for the genre anyway. I don't give a fuck about Jeong." Yeonjun sucks in a breath not at the crass words but rather the quotation of his own critique of your abilities, "... but you, you're her little prodigy and you have to do well, you have a scholarship and a family name that you need to maintain. My inability to be perfect means nothing. " You brush an invisible dust particle off his exposed shoulder before continuing.
"Your imperfections though, every single little mistake, every little misstep everyone out there will be looking for exactly that, they're waiting for your downfall and me?" You look up at him blazing eyes staring at him from behind bright red eyeshadow, "well, I'm praying for it."
Even if Yeonjun wasn't speechless he wouldn't have been able to actually retaliate because a 30 second call was made for your stage. Your grin didn't falter in fact it grew to the big stage smile every dancer wore while performing as you turned away from his figure as the pair on stage passed by you at the entrance of the wing you were waiting in.  The lights on the stage lit up as Changbin entered the stage, the black velveten coat and golden decorations glimmered under the light bright and bold, but it casted a bright glow around your figure, lighting up the red and gold feathers of your tutu in a warm light only growing brighter as you started your dance onto the stage. Yeonjun eyes were glued to you, the performance that of which was visible from where he stood taking his breath away. It might've been the lack of oxygen or perhaps it was shock, the fogginess that clouded the edges of his vision as his eyes followed the soft movements of your arms, the bounce of the tutu as you leaped through the air, even the arch of your spine as Changbin hoisted you up and over his head, held you in his arms time and time again as the battle of freedom between the firebird an he prince commenced. He saw the pretty picture of sorrow and torment as the Firebird fought to break free and the prince with his own battle of caging the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen in and ultimately be the cause of its death.  The longing on the prince's face as she disappears and leaves him with only a single mark of her, a red feather.
It's only then he feels the insistent tug of his partner at his arm, trying to pull him closer towards the exit of the wing for his own performance. Yeonjun tried to force himself to focus but his eyes landed on the pair a moment before walking onto the stage. Your body was being squeezed in a joyous hug, Changbin cheering silently as he spun you around, your own smile was bright, big and effervescent. Blinding just like the stage lights that obscured the audience, even the front row he knew was reserved for lecturers and special guests. He could only hear the blood rushing in his ears that's probably why he missed the first few counts. He was  behind now, muscle memory kicking in but never being enough to chase the fog far enough to catch up but only to make him more aware of the battle he was fighting to get back on beat. His body wouldn't let him, it was like there was a really strange weight keeping his legs and arms from moving right, but his head seemed to be floating, miles away from here.  Off in the wings where you had been smiling, happy in someone else's arms. Smiling as your lips move, your eyes on fire as his world falls apart a little, by little as you utter those words, those prayers , those hopes of imperfections  coming true with every note and every misstep and every delayed catch of his partners hand, he can feel it. The stuffy auditorium, how it was starting to suffocate him, the bitter taste of disappointment, of failure on the tip of his tongue as the shallow breaths passed over his dry lips and he inhaled the small particles of dust that everyone could see in the bright lights that was shining on every mistake he made.
As those curtains closed and the lack luster applause was still fuzzy to his ears, blood still rushing through it. He realized you'd wished his worse fears upon him, that they'd come true .
That those velveteen curtains blocking out the stage lights, was like the sun disappearing, that you'd burned so bright for the brief moment he'd set his sights on you. So bright he didn't realize how dark it would be when his downfall came.

Seeing as how long I have been a HUGE fan of the airbender series (ATLA), it's actually kind of ridiculous that I never got into the fandom. Anyway, humor me while I go through each of my ocs and babble about their roles, histories, and bending styles in the ATLA universe! Also please excuse the fact that they had zero afro-textured options for hair in this one lol.
*Check under the cut for an unnecessary amount of lore.*
Kipling ~ Waterbender | Northern-style waterbending, vine/plant-bending, healing
Water Tribe Babeyyyyy
I don't really see Kip hailing from the Southern or Northern Water Tribes, but rather from a coastal village that developed after a handful of Southern Water Tribe hostages escaped one of the prisoner of war strongholds in the Earth Kingdom. I mean, if Hama (The Puppetmaster) and the plant benders from Foggy Swamp were any indication, there were water benders scattered all over the Earth Kingdom during Lord Ozai's military campaign.
Bending-wise, Kip has always been an average waterbender, whose bending is strongest when she's manipulating the water in plants and vines. When she comes of age, she is determined to advance her skills and find a way to serve her tribe more directly. So she travels to the Northern Water Tribe to seek an apprenticeship. There Kip advances her skills in traditional water bending forms (because up until then, her methods have been rather unorthodox) as well as her affinity for healing.
While Kip is up north, she does get close to Princess Yue in their healing classes. For a long time, Kip develops what she believes is a stupid crush, but eventually discovers the Princess has mutual feelings. Step aside, Sokka, you ain't the only one. Kip and Yue explore their relationship, but only briefly until the guilt and paranoia of getting caught and tarnishing Yue's reputation catches up to them. Kip ends up leaving in the dead of night leaving nothing but - you guessed it - a poem for Yue to find.
Kip happens to be one of the travelers Team Avatar meets while they're on the road. It's quite some time after the invasion of the Northern Water Tribe. This is after Yue has passed on, but before the group reaches Ba Sing Se. Both being kind of self-taught waterbenders, Kip and Katara bond very easily. Kip has a hard time being around Sokka since it's the first time she's felt something for someone since Yue. Still, despite Kip's efforts to ignore Sokka, they end up bonding over a lot of stuff, both stupid and serious. I'm not going to go into details about what went down when they inevitably learned of each other's past relationships with Yue, but yes, there were lots of emotions. A lot of Kip trying to run away and shake herself of Sokka. A lot of Sokka battling between pursuing her or leaving her alone. It's a mess. And no I still don't know how it turns out. Haven't planned it out that far.
After Ozai is defeated, Kip makes her living as a traveling waterbending instructor with her good Earth Kingdom friend, Khleo. She travels the territories, finding hidden water tribes and informing them of the fall of Ozai. She works with Khleo and the community members to open smalls schools, closely modeled after the earthbending schools in Omashu.
***
Khleo ~ Earthbender | earthbending, sandbending, lavabending
Khleo had a rocky start to their journey. Sorry, I couldn't help it.
They were born in an area that bordered on the Si Wong Desert and the mountain chain dividing the land from Chameleon Bay (where they later meet Kipling.) Naturally, Khleo picks up a little bit from each of the known forms of earth manipulation. Although they develop into a fully realized master by the time they reach adulthood, they don't ever try their hand at meltalbending when it starts to gain popularity after the fall of Ozai.
Khleo grew up poor and had to resort to unsavory business ventures with the local sandbenders in order to keep food on the table. But since they were the sole bender that could calm down the nearby volcanoes whenever they acted up, they were always regarded as a hero within the community.
Eventually, the Fire Nation finds a way to complicate Khleo's existence and they have to flee their home. First, they cross the mountain range to Chameleon Bay, where they meet the waterbender Kipling, who they easily bond with. Khleo and Kip travel together for some time until they run into Jet and his crew. Jet's lifestyle appeals to Khleo, who was tired of roughing it. But Kip takes one look at Jet and knows that he's bad news. She and Khleo part ways.
Like most of the kids in Jet's crew, Khleo blinded themself to his activities in order to survive and stay connected to a family group. But when his actions become too hard for them to go along with, they abandon the Freedom Fighters and go to go look for work elsewhere.
Khleo had set their sights on Omashu, where they believed they could earn an honest living and still practice their bending without the eyes of the Fire Nation bearing down on them. The journey was tough and Khleo had a few brushes with death, but they made it to Omashu. There they were immediately hired by a cabbage vendor who struggled in the past with keeping his wares in one piece. Khleo guarded his cabbage stand for all but a week before they were noticed by some Omashu academy trainers. They offered Khleo a job as an instructor in multiple earthbending forms. Surprised, but very willing, Khleo accepted. Eventually, Khleo was inducted into the Order of the White Lotus.
Years later, Khleo reunites with a very emotionally scarred Kipling. She stays with them until the capture of King Bumi, after which they quickly leave the city so that they can carry out the will of the White Lotus in hopes to undermine the Fire Nation's plan to conquer the Earth Kingdom on the day of Sozin's Comet 2.0.

Ozy ~ The Avatar Firebender/Airbender hybrid | firebending, airbending
Ozy's kind of special. He has an affinity for two elements.
He was born in the Fire Nation in a very, very small village on the coast of Crescent Island. When Ozy's parents noticed that their child was something of a prodigy, they brought him straight to the Fire Sages.
Now, there was a split among the sages. Some were loyal to Lord Ozai while others were secretly members of the Order of the White Lotus. One of the members recognized Ozy's affinity for airbending very early on and did everything they could to protect him.
Without being able to say goodbye to his parents or getting an explanation for what was happening, Ozy was sent to the Western Air Temple (you know, the cool upsidedown one) where he learned airbending with the help of older White Lotus members as well as spiritual experts like Guru Pathik (the same guru who taught Aang how to navigate the Avatar State.)
As Ozy became more and more enlightened, he came to believe that his gift was not a rare one. When he was not actively practicing the rudimentary components of bending, he was meditating on the factors that led the majority of people to believe that the ability to bend was inherited based on the ethnic and cultural group into which they were born. He thought that while this was true to some degree, additional affinities could be unlocked through the forgotten teachings of the Air Nomads.
To test his theory, Ozy went on a very dangerous journey to the Library in the Si Wong Desert, where he met and became very bonded to Uncle Iroh. Thankfully, Iroh and Ozy managed to not get eaten by the Library's spiritual patron. Later, Ozy declined Iroh's invitation to the Order of the White Lotus, instead choosing to retire to the Northern Air Temple. Thre he ended up assisting the mechanists with the construction of the flight technology (part of which had already been stolen and weaponized by the Fire Nation.) Ozy never left the Northern Air Temple to help in the fight against Ozai. Instead, he remained and became the first of the Air Acolytes, from which grows a community that later founded Air Temple Island and discovered the next child born into the Avatar Cycle - Korra of the Water Tribe.
***
Sun Bai ~ Airbender | proficient in airbending. Technically.
Bai, unfortunately, did not discover that he was an airbender until he was well into his twenties. The only way he unlocked his affinity for bending was through a traumatic event, the effects of which he managed to suppress for several years. It wasn't until Bai found himself in another flight or fight situation that he spontaneously called upon his connection to the air element. (Turns out Ozy was kind of right!)
Once Bai realized what he was made of, he made it a point to gather as much knowledge on the subject as he could. Everything that he came to understand about bending was self-taught. Meditation came more naturally to him, but even that required additional training, discipline, and theory to fully master. (He was basically the opposite of Avatar Korra, who picked up on the manual technique of airbending quite easily, but struggled with its spiritual component.)
Bai didn't really play a role in the fight against Lord Ozai. He didn't run into any of the Trio or Team Avatar. His journey didn't really start until after the war. At which point he meets General Adrenaline, and then later, Sascha of the Water Tribe.
General Rosario Adrenaline ~ Firebender | firebending, master in lightning redirection
Like Ozy, Adrenaline was another firebending prodigy. (In fact, it was Adrenaline who worked very closely with Princess Azula to hone her lightning redirection technique.) Eventually, Nali's skills were exploited to the fullest in the Fire Nation's military campaign, but long before that, firebending for her was a means to perform and entertain the masses.
Adrenaline grew up in the same circus troupe as Ty Lee! They had been best friends since childhood and ended up escaping together.
While Princess Azula always favored Ty Lee and Mei over Nali as bodyguards, she often went to Nali for "companionship." Azula kept her relationship with Nali very private. It lasted well into Azula's teenage years and got pretty serious. Though neither of them considered themselves in love with the other (just due to the fact that there was so much of a strain on them thanks to social hierarchy, and Azula being Azula) Nali developed a very deep, unhealthy loyalty to Azula, that in the end, resulted in her banishment from protecting the royal family.
After she was banished, Nali linked up with Zuko, who wasn't really all that happy about it, but Iroh steps in and gives the wise compassionate uncle lecture. Zuko folds and Nali becomes one his crew!
Nali and Azula continue to pursue their relationship. And now that it started to hinge on whenever Azula came around to fuck with Zuko's head, you can imagine how even more unhealthy and eventually toxic it became. Nali was torn between her loyalty to Azula versus her loyalty to Zuko. And Azula... didn't really care. It was a mess. Didn't end pretty.
Only after Azula was imprisoned by her brother did Nali finally wipe her hands completely clean of the Fire Nation's royal family. Not really caring what was happening in the rest of the world, she stumbled around from territory to territory, drinking, gambling, and taking up muscle for hire gigs to keep herself afloat. Until she meets and unexpectedly bonds with a very lazy monk, who needed an escort through the Serpent's Pass.
***
Sascha ~ Nonbender | weapons specialist - firearms and projectiles
Solo ~ Waterbender | Southern-style waterbending, bloodbending
Sascha and Solo were both students of Hama. Nuff said.
Although the twins soaked up much of Hama's ruthless, yet practical attitude towards survival, they just didn't inherit her very deep, eternal loathing for the Fire Nation.
They also realized that she was pretty messed up.
When Sascha and Solo were of age, they made a clean break from Hama and decided to open up a business in one of the towns along the mountainside.
Having grown up in the Fire Nation colonies, Sascha and Solo were very used to hiding their connection to their Water Tribe heritage. They blended in well and opened their garment and optics shop. It was a strange combination, but they managed to stake their claim in the community.
However, the two of them were still very clear enemies of the Fire Nation. They rebelled by getting the information out to other Water Tribe refugees living in hiding. Solo taught bloodbending in his self defense classes (which was much easier for him to pull off rather than traditional waterbending because it required less physical labor and thus did not put as much of a strain on his body.)
Meanwhile, Sascha would show Water Tribe nonbenders how to assemble firearms, which at the time, were considered still very new and dangerous technology.
Solo was happy with their life, but Sascha grew bored and restless. She wanted an adventure.
Then one day a very strange monk winds up wounded on her doorstep in the middle of the night. He's riddled with bullets - the kind of which only Fire Nation militia and Sascha herself would know how to remove and treat the damage they could cause...
***
And a treat for those that made it this far! 😜
Me!!! A water-airbender hybrid. And you're damn right I would have some hair loopies!

Barrier
Summary: Mallory had a friend in the CIA request for you to impose as a worker at Vought. You were chosen for your skills and abilities by Mallory herself. To where you had to gain intel on the company to gain dirt against them for the Boys. Not all of it goes as plan.
Pairing: Homelander x CIA!Supe!Reader
A/N: I don't know why I wanted to do this. But I thought it would be a good idea for the reader and Homelander for some reason.
Tumblr media
Being part of Central Intelligence wasn't easy. You're a CIA officer, handpicked by Grace Mallory herself. Why? Because of your power there more mental and unique compared to most. You couldn't start a fire from you're hand, or even shapeshift, no you could do something more suitable for the corporation. Five of your main powers are simple and easy to understand, you can mind link, telepathy, and astral projection. Your mind link allows you to hear someone's thoughts from miles away, you can choose who to link with and who to break it with. But sometimes you're mental link automatically does itself. You could always mind control, but never figured you had to use it half of the time. Then you can mind walking, understanding the person from the outside through the inside of there past. Mind walking was terrifying for you though, the places you entered were dark and world-altering for you because of it.
CIA never bothered to get you to mind walk, knowing how traumatizing it could be, but it was all for you're will. You couldn't do much physically but you certainly make a great officier. Now your mission was to work under Vought, it was one of the most special missions yet to you. Sure, you did jobs outside of it, but this was you're the main one. Somehow you became one of Madelyn Stillwell's assistants next to the other one Ashley.
It was easy for you, you went into Stillwell's head, and answered what she wanted slickly. She thankfully was convinced and gave you a higher-up position by her side. Knowing what she was thinking was easy, especially when you know she's not on to you. Now you made sure not to use your powers at "work," but at times you couldn't help it.
Stillwell had you work closely with the Seven assisting in whatever they needed. This was easy, especially when you could hear all of there thoughts. One time you caught the Deep feeling down, so you gave him casual advice without him hearing it. He grew deeply attach to you for you're kindness and for you just know. Another time you ordered something for Black Noir and claimed you saw him trying to get some food but they ignored him. He was convinced and hung out with you at times because of it.
Sure you could hear his thoughts, but his thoughts were way louder than him. Mainly commenting on what he thought of people around him. Then you gained A-Train's trust, by doing another simple task which was helping him on a script. Queen Maeve seemed to be in an inner debate with herself, you helped her to which you kept between yourself and her. Yeah, shes you're a friend to because in her words you act like a human being. Translucent on the other hand was just interested in you, mostly because you told him to get out of the bathroom once when he was invisible.
Somehow you sensed his presence. But managed to start joking with him, which brought it to an end. Starlight you both talked about normal things, now she was your favorite because of how sweet she was. But you don't tell Noir that. Lastly, there was Homelander the biggest hurdle to climb and gain a connection with.
You've managed to gain a mental link with all seven including Stillwell. You made sure block you're the end of the mental links which was exhausting. Sure, it would hurt your head at times but you could handle another one. This one had to be like a tether compare to the rest, Mallory wanted the main link to be with you and Homelander. He was the big fish in the pond she wanted, this was the hardest for you.
Until you found him being overly emotional in his head, wrath consumed him the point you could feel the tension. Now in order to make the bond stronger, you had to gain intimacy. Much to you're dismay this could be easier with time added to it. Like always you approached Homelander calm when he was isolated. "Hey, you okay?"
"Why do you even give a flying fuck?" He remarked staring back at the city of New York. Yeah, you knew he was a tough one to cross the borders, if it became necessary you'll have to mind the walk.
"Because I can feel the tension?" You claim at him. He turns with his cape swaying at the speed of the rotated. "Not to mention, you look like you could use it." Those blue eyes of his darted down at you seizing you up.
"I bet you would like that, for me to be vulnerable with you too," he hissed. There was no way he could hear you're heart rate increase, the CIA and Mallory trained you for it. To manipulate it easily to get pass a lie detector test. She's stupid if she thinks she can convince me to trust her, you heard from his mind suddenly.
"Yeah, because bottling everything up isn't healthy." You start by trying to sound as concerned as possible. "Leaders even need help at times you know? That's why in nature the alpha male usually has his alpha female. In other words, it's why the king has his queen. But it's not always a female, at times the king has a council to decide what he wants. It's also why a CEO has there assistants in general. To assist, which is why I'm here." Hopefully, that sounds convincing enough for him. He still wasn't convinced but his mind was silent at the moment. A pregnant pause overtook the two of you before pressing your lips together in fake defeat. "Whatever, you can believe me or not, you're choice. I have to go meet Noir anyway, for some reason he wants me to introduce him to the artist MISSIO and Panic! At the Disco? I'm not sure. Nice talking to you, I guess."
If this didn't work you had a second plan on what to do that could bend the situation to you're will. Whether you liked it or not. Okay maybe you favored both Black Noir and Starlight equally, but you couldn't tell either one that, or the other Seven they'll be jealous. But you walked out with somewhat hearing Homelander's guilt at this. Let's just say you introduced Black Noir to alternative and indie music. He jammed out with you as you both enjoyed the music. That was the most fun you had without going out or without talking really. You introduced him to more bands that he ended up enjoying.
Going home you had a plan for the pull a string to tighten the knot to have a mental link. When recording the whole situation on paper you hid where you usually did. Somewhere no one with X-ray vision would bother to look, up on the ceiling. Well, you hoped no one would see it. Never a guarantee in that department.
You went to your bed and laid down on your back and began to relax facing parallel to the ceiling. Playing nature sounds made you relax more until you felt a lightweight come out. You were almost faded well transparent. In your astral projection form, you began to head out. Walking through the streets of New York, passing by people as you did.
The six members of the Seven heads became quiet including Madelyn Stillwell, indicating they're all asleep. Running through the streets of New York you felt free somewhat each time. Perhaps it was because of the middle of the night, and you felt unstoppable as you wandered. Coming to Vought Towers took a while until you glided up to Homelander's penthouse. Entering it was strange, maybe because you've never been here?
Schemes of blue and some navy grey all over the place. On the wall were pictures of baseball and all American things. Even a couple of himself smiling. Then you walked to his bedroom to see him in a fetal position asleep. Except you see his bare skin of his arms with the closet open you saw the suit.
You had to admit, for someone so bad he was attractive especially with his blonde hair being a mess as he slept. He asleep though, and his thoughts are so low and quiet despite the dark ones. Half heartily you touched his cheek, you know he can't feel it not if he's not awake. But then saw his hand open a bit as if he was less guarded. Ghostly you took his hand in yours, you sat on your knees on the side of the bed. Now, this was the weird part of your ability, it worked at times with a focus handhold, other times it took pressing your temples.
It's part a form of intimacy sort of? But you needed more for the mental link, this was to connect into his mind it was different. Flushed sort of embarrassed at the moment despite no one seeing you, it still was for you. Tapping in your power you blinked now you felt something. Warm presence of the sun.
Dirt grinding between you is toes as you wiggled them. Opening your eyes you saw the woods. Tall trees with green leaves with songbirds chirping their tunes. As you stepped towards the forest you saw a little boy. Giggling as he chased the birds and the butterflies. Who was this child?
Unsure you began to walk over as the grass brushed your naked ankles. But you still wore a loose lavender button blouse with black leggings. He chased whatever it was observing the world before him. Walking you smiled warmly at the sight it was actually precious. Was this a version of him?
"Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to know where I could find a man here? Point me in the direction if you could, please?" You asked kindly the boy turned towards your smile dropping. You were confused at this but maintain you're composure.
"You're not here to hurt me are you?" Your heart dropped at this. You felt bad for him, you knew how superheroes were made. Dosing pregnant woman with Compound V, you always know Homelander was raised in a lab. But you never bothered to think how cruel these scientists were to him. "Please don't." He begged, you sort of wanted to cry at this.
How bad were they to them? Did they restrain him and inject needles into him? Did they beat him? You commanded your mind to shut up, sympathizing with the enemy is something you can't do. He's your enemy, not a person to humanize normally. He's killed thousands mercilessly. And here you were allowing his head to affect you. Emotions can't cloud your judgment whether you like it or not. "No, I'm not here to hurt you. I'm (Y/N), (Y/N) (Y/L/N), I'm a bit lost. New here actually, I'm just looking for a man about five-eleven, strong-looking with blonde hair and blue eyes. He sort of looks like you."
"(Y/N)" he said tasting the name. "(Y/N)," he repeats still seeing how it felt coming out of his mouth. "I'm John," he suddenly says with a toothy grin.
"John that's a nice name," you remark back to him. You sort of remember the meaning of the name at some point. "I love your name. So did my mom, she loved that name a lot." You see a bright smile still grace his face at that.
"Thank you. I love your name too!" He cheerfully comments. He's sweet, he's not like the Homelander you know at the moment. It's as if there two different people.
"Now have you seen a tall man around?" You inquire to which he bobs his head at this. "Can you take me to him?" You ask to which he nods.
"He's scary though. Will you protect me?" He asks you nod you're head. John takes your hand, his hand was small compare to yours. But he began to guide you into the woods. Twigs snapped both of you walked through it. Before birds tweeted their tunes loudly but the further deep you went the more it became quiet. Just like that with the sunlight, it was darker and cloudier the deeper you went. John guided you through with ease until you came across the rain. Drops of water hit both you as you went through and thunder rumbled.
Thunder and lightning soon consumed the sky. John hugged your arm as you walked through he was six and reminded you of yourself at some point. Scared of the dark just like anyone else. You felt bad that whatever was up ahead he was terrified of.
Then you came across a cabin with a light glowing in the middle of the thunderstorm and pouring rain. Sitting on the porch in thought was Homelander. His hair soaked and his suit as he stared darkly at the ground. Horrific in its own way that made your stomach turn. Sorrowfully though you stared at this adult version of John.
Why did they have to hurt him? Why did they have to dehumanize him? Stripping him of his own childhood to in the process. Why did they have to be so cruel to him? He probably would've been stronger if he was taught kindness and be a human being. You held back you're emotions once more you couldn't get lost in this as well. Too late to fix anything with him internally. Some say it's never too late, but he needs someone truly good to do that for him. And you think you're not the person for it.
Meeting the blue gaze of Homelander you felt shivers down you're spine at this. John hid half of himself behind you at this. Those eyes of his are full of chaos and destruction and it sort of made sick knowing how it got there. "What the hell are you doing here?" He hissed at the sight of you. "Both of you." He states taking a stand with a faint of red in his eyes.
Sucking in a breath you couldn't let him know your power so you had to play coy at this. "How should we know? This is you're dreaming. You're head." He can't hurt you here, not physically at least. He can't do anything he doesn't really have power here especially since he doesn't know how to face your kind of power.
"Don't play dumb against me," he growled taking a couple of steps forward. His eyes were beginning to glow a furious red. "You know exactly what's going on!" You felt John flinch at the sudden rise of voice from the Homelander. Throwing a finger accusingly directed at you.
But your heart ached at this, it's sad. He's depressing when you get to know his past. And knowing in reality he's a terrified child inside of a beast. "You know its sad," you start off in a monotone voice at this, "you're hurt. Physically and emotionally, and you fight those who want to hurt those who want to help. It's crueler than you abuse yourself for things you can't control." Poking him where it hurt was the only way to reflect himself to him. Breaking down a wall like this one can allow yourself access into actually building a connection with him.
Unlike the other members of the Seven, he was the toughest one to break the barrier with. "Shut up! I'm the Homelander, I do not harm myself. No one can touch me! Not even myself. You're just a pathetic insect in this world. Lowest of the low!" He was trying to hurt you, and most of it stung but you had acted like steel.
Be a person of steel against his aggression towards you. "I may be, but as low as you feel to yourself." You remark back which made his eyes glow more furious. He wouldn't laser you, he was bluffing acting like a child in the middle of a temper tantrum. "You know, you don't have to act like this. Instead of sabotaging everything that comes your way that can possibly love, why not accept it? The actual love of a person." Before see how he flinched from that response from you. "It wasn't you're fault, you know? How they treated you? You could act better than what they taught you. Prove them wrong," the redness in his eyes stop before he shut them. Turning away from you, to face off to the side. The thunderstorm in the sky became more peaceful and the rain stopped pouring. "Vulnerability isn't always a bad thing, John. You don't have to be scared, just trust somebody enough to love them. Just like you can only be brave when you're scared."
John the small one peeked out and lowered his hands from his ears. He loosened his grip on you before you moved over steady. Carefully taking steps over to the Homelander as he remained silent. Hesitantly closed enough you debated whether to just touch his shoulder or give him a hug. This was the last step to break a mental barrier for him. Ghostly you enveloped over his left and the side of his upper arm wrapping it. You placed your temple on the back of his neck.
Instead of tension, you felt as he relaxed within seconds of your touch. As if a bunch of weight was coming off him in a matter of seconds. Before you felt a migraine coming along, oh no, you thought to yourself. Last you felt was the material of his suit against your face.
You blinked to his blue eyes shoot open. You jumped back but felt the migraine overtaking you. He shot up glancing around the area somewhat terrified of what he "dreamt" about. You could understand why, but it was a pull closer to tightening the knot between you two. Heading back to your apartment you stumbled a bit on your way there. Until you fell back into your body. Just to sit up and see the blood oozing out of you're nostrils. "Well shit." Your comment, it was four am and you still had four hours before "work." You popped in two pills for your migraine and cleaned your bloody nose. Boy, that was a well, mind-altering.
Sleeping after that felt incredible. But you did cry a bit for mental relief before passing out. Four hours later you woke up and dressed not caring while wearing black shades to cover your hooded eyes underneath. You picked up a large iced latte with some mocha in it. Walking in the office wearing a white blouse and black leggings and a leather jacket with nice dress shoes. Today you didn't care outfit wise, you decided to bring a jacket that had a hood to cover yourself when its break time, you planned on napping in your office.
But you built a bullshit story luckily. On your way, you ate your breakfast sandwich and got the Seven muffins. Through the mental links, you heard them mention you. Showing up at Vought you couldn't help but laugh at the funeral jokes thrown at from your coworkers.
Entering through the elevator Madelyn sent you to them to discuss what they needed. All lite up at the sight of you well, not really Homelander. He seems in his deep thought. You tossed Black Noir his pumpkin muffin than Deep his strawberry, Starlight her chocolate muffin. Queen Maeve got her peach and cream muffin. Translucent had a pecan. Than A-Train liked having oat. Then you gave Homelander had a chocolate chip. Then you had a blueberry, almond with white frosting on it. "Wheres the funeral out today, (Y/N)?" Maeve teased as she took a bite of hers.
"You look like you going to one and then a rock concert after," A-Train comments to you. You gave a chuckle at this.
"I was up and out late last night," you grin as took a sip of your coffee.
"Oh, who was it this time? Some guy you met a bar? Because the last one you talked about seems like a nerd." The Deep remarks.
"Brains are attractive! I rather not be with a dumb guy. Besides, I ran into an old friend from college. She got me drunk and bet I couldn't ride the mechanical bull for six solid minutes. I managed, then vomited after." Just to hear Maeve go 'ooo' at this.
"This is why you're my favorite (Y/N). You're nice and know when to have some fun." She grinned at you.
"Now what are you guys needed?" You inquire to them. Hearing there inner thoughts you knew it was nothing bad, but Homelander was contemplating from his "dream."
"Well, we are having an issue with deciding whether or not how to handle this video that surfaced of well, Translucent breaking a guy's nose." Starlight explained to which in a matter of seconds was resolved. This was until Homelander requested to speak to you alone.
Amongst all of them, they seem to tense up at this. Most of them questioned in their heads if he was mad at you. You entered the separate room away from them. "Everything alright, Homelander?" Immediately asked him. To which he paused facing you. No aggression was targeted towards you. "Something wrong?"
"I-" he paused. Pondering how to say this properly as possible. "I- you asked me yesterday what was on my mind, right? I blew you off. That wasn't right of me, you're just trying to help. I was wondering, can I talk to later about it? When you're not busy?"
"Of course," you said. You still felt bad for him. Despite all the spat you and how he is to humanity. But you have to remind yourself not to get attached to either one of them. Any can flip on a dime from something done wrong. But this was opening in the barrier, one step closer to creating a tough mental link between the two of you. The next step will have to be intimacy to seal the knot for you. Mallory's words stung in your head, repeating saying "do not forget what each of them has done to harm people. Don't you forget?"
