Synastry Observations #2

💙 Their Mars in your 3rd House makes them want to talk to you all the time. Conversation tends to flow freely. You inspire each other's thoughts and ideas. They tell you things about their siblings or neighbors. You enjoy running errands together. Frequent talks about sex and sexting isn't unusual for this overlay.

🤍 Moon overlaying the 9th House can indicate that there is significant distance between the two of you. Long distance relationship. Person from a different culture or ethnic background. This overlay also indicates that you may share similar religious beliefs or philosophies on life.

💙 Venus opposing Uranus can also indicate a relationship between two very different people. This aspect in synastry brings excitement, especially in the beginning. The Uranus person sends electrifying signals to the Venus person, who is drawn to the Uranus person. There needs to be some grounding and enduring aspects in the rest of this synastry for a relationship to last with this one. This aspect can also manifest as an on/off relationship because the two are activated towards each other through transits.

🤍 Having Mercury square Mercury in synastry can be tough. Here the people involved struggle with communication and understanding each other during critical and even non-critical moments. When Mercury squares in synastry, even small misunderstandings can quickly escalate to bigger disagreements. Because squares are typically created by signs of the same modality, but different elements, the minds of these people clash because the approach is different. For instance, a Cancer Mercury and Libra Mercury both are Cardinal and the mind works fast for these signs. But Cancer's mode of communication is filtered through the emotions (Water), while Libra filters through the mind (Air).

💙 When their Venus is in your 7th House, you find them very attractive. They embody what is beautiful to you. As the House person, you have the attributes and qualities of what Venus values in love and partnerships. The Venus person values you. This overlay can also indicate the Venus person coming into the House person's life to increase value or make money together.

🤍 When a person's Mars conjuncts another's Chiron, the Mars person has come to help facilitate healing for the Chiron person. As long as the rest of the synastry supports it, Mars isn't afflicted, and the Chiron person has already done some shadow work to address wounds, this is a very positive aspect in synastry.

💙 I've noticed when Saturn conjuncts the North Node in synastry, it can indicate a lifelong friendship. Of course, this can develop into a romantic partnership, or even start off romantic and end up as friends. But essentially, the people involved become bound together with this aspect. It is often the Saturn person who gets stuck on the NN person. Saturn initially introduces structure and discipline to the NN person. The NN person shows Saturn how to lighten up and allow lessons to evolve naturally. This aspect in synastry can also indicate creating 'good' Karma in this lifetime. Often there is an age difference involved.

🤍 Neptune conjunct Vertex in synastry can be a beautifully fated connection or an extreme nightmare. When Neptune is positively placed within the natal and in synastry, this aspect brings a brand new, positive perspective to the Vertex person about compassion and unconditional love. But because of the nature of Neptune and the potential for illusions and deceit, if Neptune is ill placed or badly afflicted, Neptune will teach the Vertex person about seeing clearly, setting proper boundaries, and using their intuition.

Where & How You Overdo It:

Jupiter thru the Houses

Jupiter in the natal chart shows us how we attract abundance and where we experience luck in our lives. While Jupiter is considered a benevolent planet and provides us with 'more' of the things that are represented in the house it lies in, because it expands whatever it touches, it also shows us how we can overindulge or overdo those things. The purpose of this post is to point out what one may need to moderate or be conscious of when it comes to the negative effects of Jupiter in the chart.

Jupiter 1st House -

🟡 Inflated ego or sense of self-importance. Know-it-all. Overeating. Over competitive. Aggressiveness. Hyper independency. Extreme fitness.

Jupiter 2nd House -

🟡 Overspending. High maintenance. Eye for luxury items. Hoarding or collecting more than necessary. Materialism. Possessiveness.

Jupiter 3rd House -

Synastry Observations #1

💕 The Venus - Neptune conjunction brings soulmate energy. There is so much compassion, understanding, and unconditional love between the two of you. Together you may be inclined to escape into your own world. A world filled with art, music, and poetry. A place where your fantasies come to life. The Neptune person may idealize the Venus person. They find Venus beautiful. The Venus person gets swept away in Neptune's fog. The trouble with this aspect is that it can also bring deception and illusions. The ability to see one another clearly may be distorted here. Boundaries may be muddy because of a desire to blend into one.

💕 We often hear bad things about 12th House synastry, but it's honestly one of my favorites. However, I'm biased because I have a 12th House stellium 😏. At any rate...someone's Sun overlaying your 12th House will often shine a light on your spirituality and deep seated (un)consciousness. They can bring an awareness to your spiritual path that may be hidden from you. This is especially true if you have your Moon there. Your intuition and inner knowing is activated by this overlay.

💕 Mercury gets slept on so often because people love to idealize Venus (love) or Moon (feelings) or Mars (attraction) in synastry. But positive Mercury aspects in synastry are by far some of my favorite (I'm Mercurial so I'm biased). Mercury - North Node, Mercury - Moon, and Mercury - Jupiter to name a few. Mercury is often a glue that will assist you with being able to communicate with your partner in a way that you both feel heard and understood and allows you to work through misunderstandings in a healthy way.

💕 'Soft' aspects between Saturn and Venus - Sextile, Trine and sometimes Conjunction (depending on other synastry factors) - can produce a positive binding effect on the relationship of a couple. Saturn is a glue that brings a seriousness needed for endurance. Venus offers appreciation of the love involved. It sings tunes of beauty, art, and gentleness, while Saturn commits to and respects these things. The couple has an innate feeling that the connection is one that will be lasting and will endure tough times.

💕 A person who has their Sun in the sign of your North Node, you will find them attractive. Not necessarily in a sexual or romantic way (although it definitely could be!), but because the Sun person naturally embodies the creativity, vitality, etc. the NN person is striving toward, the NN person can't help but to be attracted to attributes of the Sun person. Depending on where the NN person is in their journey and reaching the attributes of the NN, the Sun person also finds the NN person to be intriguing. This aspect in synastry often indicates lessons to be learned from both individuals.

💕 5th & 11th House overlays are FUN. Planets falling into the 11H in synastry activates the desire to be genuine friends, share friend groups, or be a part of the same organizations or social groups. In the 5H, it activates the desire to take a risk on the connection or create something together...could be children, art, music, or whatever theme of the sign that rules that house.

House placements based on Whole Signs

🌤️ Heart-shaped faces/heads. Hair! Wide smiles. Fair skinned or come from a lineage of fair skinned people. Confident persona with big gestures. Leads with heart...wears heart on sleeves.

🌤️ They aren't self-centered or the attention seekers they may get painted. With a (Libra 3H) they're mindset and mode of communication is centered around building relationships. They desire fairness and harmony when connecting with others and often go out of their way to please people when making those connections.

🌤️ This often appears contradictory to the way they behave when actually in a relationship. With an (Aquarius 7H), they may behave aloof and distant. But that isn't necessarily the case. Aquarius here may cause the native to desire freedom from the constraints of a traditional relationship. Transit Edition

🛸 When Pluto transits the 7th House and conjuncts the Descendant, the native may enter a life changing relationship. It is very possible they will meet someone and the encounter feels very fated. The connection will take the native to depths they have yet to explore. It is not one that should be taken lightly. This will be a transformative experience that will expose many of the shadow traits of the native. This Pluto transit often brings a partner that will mirror the native. 🫧 If there ever were a placement to indicate a Momma's Boy...It's definitely a Cancer Moon man. A 4th House stellium can also manifest this way.

🫧 Cancer Rising cuties are really sweet and nurturing people, but they can be very critical and judgmental of others with Virgo ruling their 3rd House of Communication. Often this is just a projection of their own emotional insecurities deriving from the 1st House of Self.

🫧 Also, Cancer placements...especially Sun, Moon & Mars...stop automatically assuming someone moved your sh¡t or touched your stuff LOL. It's just misplaced and will show up. I'm not saying someone didn't do it, but that someone could be you 😉 (I'm a Cancer Sun/Mercury so don't shoot the messenger!)

🫧 People with Taurus in the 12th end up dedicating a lot of work into their spirituality. Because the 12th House indicates isolation and seclusion, and Taurus is ruled by Venus, these individuals often decorate their homes with lots of spiritual things that bring them comfort.

🫧 On the same note...the 12th House Taurus is a Gemini Rising with a Virgo 4th House and may actually enjoy and prefer being alone so the home is a place they value very much. These folk's homes are usually a combination of some sort of organized mess (Virgo/Pisces axis). Like, they usually know where everything is, because everything has a place (Virgo 4H), but there is a bit of chaos that goes with that, such as organized piles of clothes (clean vs dirty), stacks of books in a corner instead of on a bookshelf, etc.

🫧 Pluto in the 12th house people can come across very intense or intimidating even. They often don't see themselves this way because energy gets buried in the 12th House, but it is very recognizable by others.

🫧 Leo North Node natives are here to create something that brings them well deserved attention. This can be anything from a career in acting, a famous child, or some sort of art or historical development.

🫧 I attributed dimples to Libra placements in a previous post, but recently have observed that this also includes a dimpled chin, known as a cleft-chin...or butt chin.

🫧 A shadow trait of Aquarius Moons is their need to be noticed (Leo/Aquarius axis). Part of what gives them emotional fulfillment is being recognized for their uniqueness. And while they are usually very logical with their approach to emotional expression, when an Aqua Moon's feelings get the best of them, they may become very emotional.

🫧 People with Scorpio in the 6th House should be very mindful of the people they sleep with. Scorpio in the house of health makes them more susceptible to sexually transmitted diseases.

🫧 Fire Mars (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) people will try anything once! Especially in their younger years and even more so if you pair it with a Fire Sun or Moon. These folks love to have fun and won't really enjoy doing anything that doesn't spark their passion(s).

🫧 I can always pick up on Water Mercuries (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) by how they express opinion based questions/statements.

Cancer Mercury = "I feel like..." = Emotion/Insecurity based

Scorpio Mercury = "Something tells me..." = Intuition/Suspicion based

Pisces Mercury = "Have you ever wondered...?" = Abstract/Ideal based

◻️ While one of the themes of the 12th House is isolation (i.e. prison, hospitals, foreign places), people with 12th House placements don't necessarily end up in prison themselves. Often they are the ones working and offering their services in places such as prisons, hospitals, far away lands, or places where one is isolated. This is especially true if Mars, Venus, Moon, or Mercury are there.

◻️ Pluto in the 1st/5th House/Pluto aspecting Sun, indicates someone who goes through many transformations to their identity. Not specifically to their appearance, although it can be, but more so to the personality and overall character of the native. They will go through life experiencing several identity crisis from which they emerge each time a new person.

◻️ People with Mercury in 2nd House have captivating voices. Even if they don't sing, their speaking voice is one that grabs people's attention.

◻️ Virgo Moons, be nice to yourselves. You are amazing. Perfection is an unachievable goal. Sure, we all can stand to make improvements in our lives, but don't beat yourself up over the unrealistic ideals you feel you need to accomplish.

◻️ Also on Virgo (all placements, including the Angles)...it is a very intuitive sign that often gets overlooked because of how earthy and practical they are. But their intuitiveness comes from the introspective nature of this sign. This is why in Tarot they are represented by the Hermit (Major Arcana). The archetype of the Hermit and Virgo energy is to go within and do a deep analysis of oneself, in order to derive at answers. This is why they seem to just know what to do in situations.

◻️ Cancer placements really are care bears. But make no mistake, their moods and disposition can change at the drop of a dime. Like their Cardinal cousin Aries, they will POP OFF and rip you a new one if you're not careful.

◻️ Taurus placements can talk their azzes offff lol. Man, people think Gemini are the talkers...baybee...their zodiac neighbor Taurus can hold a decent match with them. They can go on and on and on. I've seen this with people with Mercury in the 2nd House, Taurus 3rd House or Mars in 3rd House as well.

◻️ Mars in Aquarius are some bona-fide freaks lol. Not necessarily in a nasty, filthy way, but they are definitely down to try all types of different and unconventional sex.

◻️ Some may not like to admit this, but Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) act as mirrors. Even if they are the 'toxic one', they often attract partners that help the water sign SEE THEMSELVES and do shadow work. And the opposite is true...water signs are highlighting where their partners may have an unhealthy or toxic relationship with their own emotions.
