those were some of the last words wonwoo had heard from you last time he saw you.
he had, once again, arrived home late, blue and grey from yet another altercation he'd found himself in. he had promised you he'd leave his shady past behind. that he'd take care of you and you'd exist happily together, never having to worry for the other's safety.
it had taken you a while to break, begging him to put you out of your misery and either leave you or promise you a life in which you wouldn't be terrified every time he stepped foot out of the door. living without you was just unconceivable for wonwoo, which left him with only one choice.
he managed to keep his promise for about a week or two, happy to arrive punctual at home every night and find you waiting for him, more than ready to shower him with your affections.
he hadn't meant to break his promise. nothing broke him more than the look in your eyes as he entered your shared home, two hours late and with twenty missed calls from you. his skin was once again covered with bruises, disheveled hair and exhausted state to match. he hadn't thought this would be the end. that despite of his pleas to please stay, you'd still pack your bags, eyes filled with tears as you cried at him that you couldn't stay and watch him slowly kill himself like this. what you hadn't realized was that nothing could kill him more than your absence.

it had only been two weeks since you left him. two weeks since his last genuine smile graced his face. two weeks since he was able to sleep. and most ironically, two weeks since he'd gotten into some type of life-threatening altercation. his bruises had healed by now, taking longer than usual now that he didn't have you to tend to him like before. he still kept up with you, watching you from afar as you cruised through life. he didn't want to make you uncomfortable, hoping to respect your decision to leave and take his heart with you, but your absence was too much for him. if he couldn't have you, he'd at least watch you from afar, dreading what he had lost. so that's what he did, and thats what he was currently doing right now.
you were attending some party, he'd found out. which meant he needed to be in attendance too and watch over you. he felt dejected as he watched you have fun with your friends, sad that maybe the breakup just hadn't been that big of a deal to you. maybe you were truly better off without him. maybe he needed to leave you alone and allow you to enjoy life without a burden such as jeon wonwoo.
he wanted to leave, he truly did, but his body wouldn't let him. he just wanted you back into his life so badly. everything had turned bleak the moment you left, making him just a shell of himself. he wanted to approach you and get on his knees (in front of all the wasted party goes, even) and beg you for forgiveness. he wanted to cry out to you how much he loved you, that you were the light of his life, that he'd leave it all behind for you. but he was too much of a coward to do that. so, he prepared himself mentally in order to leave, sparing one last look your way before disappearing into the crowd. except you were gone. in his distracted state, you had left. your friends were still there, but you were the sole disappearance. wonwoo knew he should've just left you alone, but he couldn't live with himself if something were to happen to you.
he frantically looked for you for a good five minutes before finding you in some empty balcony, sitting down against the rail with your legs hanging from it. he could only see your profile, but was able to spot the shine of your cheeks, a clear indicator that you'd been crying. he once again couldn't help himself when he spoke up.
"baby?" he was slow at approaching you, not wanting to surprise you too much.
you jumped a bit anyways, "wonwoo? what are you doing here?"
"i ... i wanted to see you. i'm sorry"
you had gotten up, now facing him but keeping yourself closed off, arms wrapped around yourself and eyes not meeting his, very much unlike your usual affectionate self.
"wonwoo ... you can't keep doing this. i know you've been following me around. you need to leave me alone."
"i .."
"do you think this is easy for me? i love you. so fucking much. i just cant watch you get hurt over and over. i cant wait home late not knowing if you'll actually come back," you'd began ranting, your emotions getting stronger by the second, "every time you leave it's like i have to hold my breath, and i cant breathe until i have you back to me safely. i can't do this anymore. i love you, i-"
wonwoo couldnt take it anymore. he walked the rest of the way and held onto you. he lightly grabbed you and placed you in his arms, engulfing your shaking form against his chest. you'd begun crying halfway through your speech, your words becoming slurred and you shook and sniffled throughout. wonwoo couldn't physically handle seeing you in such distress without wanting to take it away. so he held onto you. what surprised him was that you held him back. you nuzzled your face into his chest, wrapping your arms tightly around him as you sobbed against him, crying that you loved him.
"i love you ... so fucking much," pulling away, he made sure to look into your eyes as he spoke, "i can't exist without you. i'll stop- i stopped. i'll leave it all behind for you. we can leave. together. i'll do anything for you, just- please. please come back to me. i love you."
"wonwoo ..."
"i mean it! i'll keep you safe. i'll keep us safe. we can start new. just us. you'll never have to worry about me again, i promise. just need you back. please. i can't do this without you, i-"
like in any other cliche, you pulled him into you, kissing his words back into his mouth. but he didn't care. he kissed all emotions right back into yours, letting all the sadness he had in him dissipate against your lips. you kissed until you became lightheaded, sighing against each other's lips even when you were out of breath, refusing to pull away. wonwoo was finally the one to pull away, almost losing his mind at the way your lips chased after his.
"let me take you home? i love you. wanna take care of you."
and with that, you walked back into his life, hand in hand, with the promise that his love for you would keep him safe.

haha omg. I don’t mind the spam!!! i’m goad you’re loving it. the social media format has definitely been my favorite since I discovered it!! I’ve always enjoyed writing dialogue more than anything so texts are a great way to do that.
I accidentally made seungmin a little too angsty but!! he’s just a lil tsundere who’s kinda afraid of his feelings because he feels them so strongly and so intensely. there’s definitely a little more to his backstory that you guys can look forward to 🤭
of course!! tws are super important to me as someone who is easily triggered by things. I had wrote mio/yn as someone who struggles a lot because as someone who deals with depression and chronic anxiety, writing about it and having someone be comforted by it is really cathartic. I know it’s not for everyone and that’s ok!! I have much more less angst fic ideas too.

The scenes were so fucking beautiful, I love the peaceful atmosphere that rain gives and how you were able to contrast that as an escape from that horrible loud and noisy bar to just a horrible man!!!!! Everything was just great vegetables, this chapter will definitely be haunting me while I sleep but it ended with an amazing scenario to build off of and dream about RIGHT?☺️ Anyway, my last words here are that I admire how you’ve been working on this project for around a couple months now nonstop, but the quality has not dropped and has instead improved despite it getting really tiring the more you carry on with it! Maybe that’s just how I feel about finishing what I’ve started LMAO but it’s so impressive every time I see someone able to pull that off, I’ve seen some fics succumb to the tragedy of “i-just-want-to-get-this-over-with-because-the-concept-no-longer-interests-me-anymore”-ness 😔 BUT WITH KICKOFF! I’m so happy that the author is as passionate about the characters and plot in their fanfiction as I am, and hard work really does pay off! 2. How many WIPs do you currently have?
HAHA good question....ive abandoned a lot of my previous ones so as far as fics i am actively working on/planning on working on then 14.
the rest of 'can't help myself' and then the afterdark series which is 13 separate stories ! main focus is on finishing can't help myself.
13. Name one of your fics that you are proud of.
ooo i'm sort of proud of them all in different ways, but one that comes to mind is 'ritual' from my old blog! it's not perfect by any means, but it was the first long one-shot with pretty intense plotting that i managed to finish after writing mainly short, spur of the moment pieces. this one had a lot of moving parts and constraints and i was quite happy with the end result of it ! aside from that im quite proud of 'other people's weddings' just for being so fun and it garnered a lot of readership so that was a pleasant surprise ! (they're both on @neonun-au)
16. What’s the longest time you ever needed to write a fic?
WELP 'can't help myself' has been like 2 years and some change so...
im a slow writer when it comes to longer pieces. its less so the writing thats the problem though. more just carving out the time to actually just do it

genuinely so good. i am sick. i am wailing. i am going to throw up.
ok i lied it wasnt like, groundbreaking, but i did enjoy it! and it did give me new kinds of mental illness. im not typically into the "overpowered protagonist" trope at all but i feel like in this case it was more of a vehicle for the philosophy of the novel than the actual. point? im not a literature analysis person haha
i doubt i would have read this novel if it weren't by singshong. it is just generally not my thing. but im glad i did! i liked the character and i thought it was quite clever and funny, the world building was interesting (despite how overly complicated it is) and some parts made me so. oughhhbg. tearing my hair out
i also really enjoyed looking at this from a "how it compares to orv" standpoint (that's also the main reason i decided to read it). i liked seeing the "prototype" ideas in here that resemble parts of orv that were more developed/refined. and i liked the most specific messages that resembled orv's! there were a few bits regarding walls and connection that made me want to erm shrivel up and die
i guess i didn't really understand the ending but i don't think it was awful. those last 3 chapters are honestly what was worst to me, if i had stopped reading on chapter 244 i might have been happier with the openness of it. seeing all of jaehwan's friends dying and sirwen being left alone in the world was depressing as hell and didn't really feel necessary
orv is known for having everything in it and managing to pull off the most unhinged plots and details so i enjoyed seeing that same principle in twatf dsdjskks it threw a lot of things that i didnt expect at all and a lot of them were absurd but all together i think it made it work
goddd some parts just hit very close. maybe not the overall themes but some specific sections made me put my phone down and stare into space... the fall of time arc... the conversation jaehwan has with the long lived race after he's figured out the unclothing... what andersen tells him before she chooses to fight myad... many such cases
some of the criticisms for it that ive seen online are about the bad translation which is fair but i dont think that necessarily reflects the quality of the actual novel? idk the crappy translation and many typos did make it harder to read but i was still able to mostly understand what was happening and i got used to it pretty quickly. i do wish that the side characters were more developed, i was really interested in them and it felt like a lot of their development was dropped or forgotten, but i did love what growth was shown
i liked jaehwan!!! he is such a sopping wet silly guy. guy who is in the horrors forever. guy who is a billion years old but not actually but yes he is. guy who is so autism eyes incarnate. i liked him as a character and i liked following his journey even with his at times repetitive ideas and simple op solutions to everything. it was fun!
i enjoyed the characters in general, karlton grew on me for some reason lol... i liked anderson and runald a lot also... i liked how despite his identity as a lonely existence that works alone, jaehwan did actually forge so many bonds with people he met and did reciprocate them! him and yoonhwan, him hiring claire and meikal for govt positions when he became master of gorgon, him training with chunghuh, his care for runald and anderson, him verbally calling the fallbringers his friends when they reunite, even eventually his friendship with beastlain! i wasn't expecting him to make so many connections because of how set he is on doing everything alone, so i was really happy to see that he does consider them friends and isnt just coldly moving through the world alone, despite what his actions say
really liked the whole lore about [clothes]. i thought that was really cool. did not like the repeated instances of sexual harassment and pervy lines throughout the book
ive been telling people to read orv left and right, but in contrast twatf is a kind of novel that i dont think i would necessarily recommend to anyone (especially not to anyone who wasn't already an enjoyer of this genre and/or more "out there" plots in general) but i did enjoy reading it myself. however i would say that it provided some cool/valuable/fun insight into orv and singshong's writing in general so maybe i would recommend it to someone who has already read orv and wanted to expand on that
overall i did like it!!! i dont think ill be rereading it any time soon but i had fun reading and stewing over it :)

It's been about a week since no time confounds me ended and these things still live rent free in my brain:
Wilbur not being able to finish saying it's manageable before it became very much Not Manageable.
The description of Phil looking like he's about to watch a funeral procession because he knows how harrowing the next 20 minutes are going to be as a witness, if Wilbur even lasts that long.
Wilbur being so worn out and in agony from the duel that he can't even acknowledge their victory properly before allowing himself to finally pass out.
Honestly just Tommy in general while the duel is going on. He hates this so much but Wilbur's relying on him to help him through it and damn it, he's not losing his brother without a fight. Also I'm holding "Wil, you're done" so gently, made me untense the first time I read it when I didn't even realise I was physically tensed.
That one bit after the apartment confrontation where Tommy just wants to listen to Wilbur's heart and Wilbur suddenly realises his life matters so much more to Tommy than he previously thought. That kid only knew him a year but he'd mourn Wilbur for decades, if not centuries, if something bad happened to the human best friend he wasn't able to save.
Him worrying he wouldn't recognise his vampire self and being hesitant about checking his reflection because of that, only to find he was still himself in his eyes.
And finally, falling asleep on Tommy's lap in the car then later bickering about age differences because who cares that Tommy's technically twice his age, he's still the older brother in this dynamic, thank you very much.

oh yeah if something had happened to wilbur, tommy would've mourned for decades. he met wilbur when he was completely isolated from his coven for the first time since he was Turned. he was a complete emotional wreck and when he met wilbur, he got attached. like, pretty unheathily attached tbh. codependent crimeboys ftw haha... but yeah, he would've mourned for a very long time because he was so attached to wilbur and also because he'd directly blame himself for anything that happened to him

he was still himself!! one of wilbur's biggest worries and it was unfounded because he was still able to see himself in his eyes :)) one of my favorite details i included tbh

This is me right after our hospital based internship qualifying exam. But before we proceed with that, let me first tell you how our revalida exam went.
______REVALIDA______
First day, I have arrived at our school around 6:40 in the morning. I was the first one to arrive lol since I was from my home (tinambac), I left our house around 5:30 am. First day we had Clinical chemistry, Haematology, and Clinical Microscopy. When I first saw the questions on clinical chemistry it was fine since I knew the answers but what shocked me was I saw exact same questions from my practice test! Plus some items appear from the lemar reviewer that one of my classmates sent me. I was beyond happy! Knowing that I have used the right reviewer. Same goes for haematology and clinical microscopy. But I was initially quote disappointed with my haematology since majority of the question really came from my practice test but I just couldn't remember the right answers haha what I recalled most was my wrong answers. What a bummer! But I actually ended up passing all 3 subjects since we have checked our paper right away. My average score was 60+. I was happy with the result. I went to church afterwards to thank God for guiding me through out and for giving me enough strength to show up and take the test. I went to my dorm ordered some food and went back studying tho my head was pulsating from pain. I studied my practice test plus the reviewer from lemar but wasn't able to read everything from it since it was 1000 items haha but all of the items there were essential and many appear on our exam! So Yea day 2, we had ISBB, Micropara, and the damn HTML. For our ISBB I was able to manage it well since it was the only subject I really know haha I mean, only the immunology and serology, not so much on blood banking.
(7/24/2022) ts basically a week already since we had our revalida and yet i havent finish making this post about our qualifying haha. anyways im gonna finish it now....

The reason why I was pretty confident to take our ISBB exam because basically among all the subjects, it's the only subject that I have "fully" grasped on. I mean again, just the IS not so much on BB because the different blood groups made it so much complex. I was lucky enough to have answered several questions on our books since our ISBB exam questions were taken from our book. Same goes for Micropara! MAJORITY of the questions that appeared on our micropara exam were taken from the practice test that I have answered and reviewed so I was indeed lucky! During that time, I felt like I was the luckiest person ever, all thanks to our Almighty! I actually told my friends, Ally and Yvone about it and they totally envy me haha. I thought the same thing will happen on our HTML exam but I was definitely wrong! I felt bad that I told my friends to study the practice test instead but none from the what I have reviewed appear on our exam! HTML was the only subject where I guess all of my answers because I totally clueless of the questions! It was totally hard! I really thought that I was just gonna have 20 or 30 pts but I end up having 48 hahah not so bad, I have realized that I was not a terrible guesser haha! So after we have taken our revalida, our professor, called me and told me that I have topped our exam! I was not really expecting for that nor hoping! But oh God you're so good! My prayers worked! And God, He really works in mysterious ways. I was definitely happy cause all those late nights studying really paid off. I went home without telling my parents because I was planning to suprise them during our pinning (well this plan was already ruin because our department's facebook page already posted the result, boi I looked stupid and ugly on their post, a lot of people congratulated me and many also sent me a message. To all those people, you may not be able to read this but heaven knows I thank all of you. And to all those people who believed in me, thank you so much ((: )
So I was happy with the result but at the same time I felt a bit of pressure because I know we still have one qualifying exam left to pass and this remaining exam was the real deal, this was the exam we've all been preparing and really hoped to pass.
_BMC QUALIFYING EXAM_
7/18/2022 was the date where we have taken this exam. Everyone was anxious, nervous, and feeling the tense. Again, before I have taken this exam I asked for the guidance of Lord, because I know I have did my best studying (did I really give my best?) We were complete, 117 students doing their very best just to be part of the top 40 students who'll have their internship at BMC, I am one of them. The exam set up was a bit weird. about 5 students shared one table, and yea cheating in this kind of set up is very likely to happen. Anyways, about the exam, IT WAS HARD ASF. There was identification and sort of like interview question at the end! Was definitely not expecting for it. None of us was! There were some microscopic identification of parasites, bacteria, crystals, and tubes. Uh plus the process of fixation which i definitely screw up because I put the first one wrong then Im guessing everything's wrong (I definitely know the sequence duh it was FDCIETSSML but daaang there was receiving and labeling which i failed to put as the first step so I really screwed it up) Was a bit devastated at the same time disappointed with myself knowing I can do so much better. But hey, it was not just me who find the exam hard, pretty much everyone of us so that made me somehow a bit better. but yknow what even makes me happy? It's actually to see the smile of my classmates. I know we all had a hard time, we found the exam difficult, and was in the verge of not making it to 80% quota but we still end up smiling and just laughing it all out. Knowing that many of us might be in danger of going to Manila to have the internship and not to mention the cost of almost half a million, we were still able to crack a smile on our face. This is actually what I have missed during the pandemic tbh. Anyways, so me and my girls just went grab some pizza and lasagna and went to Ally's hoouse to rest. And that was it.
Our qualifying exams were done.

I went to our guidance counsellor and our talk and it went great. I felt relief and seems like everything's going okay. And oh prior to going to our counsellor I already have felt a bit better ((: So yea, that's everything about our qualifying exam and I'm writing this just now, 7/24/2022 10:42 pm with a whooper burger and j.pops beside me plus renee's covered music (im totally living the life I wanted ((: thank's G)

omgg ive heard a lot about criminal minds, especially about Spencer (??). it seems like a really good show and i actually might give it a go too soon. i can only watch one show at a time because my brain can't process two shows at a time, but ive nearly finished the mentalist so i might try that next !!
icl, my friend thinks im a complete weirdo, but i don't like waffles or pancakes. they're not very appealing to me and i would never choose them when eating out. i quite like potato waffles though, they're beautiful !! i remember as a child my mum used to buy the smiley face shaped ones and id secretly take them out of the packet and try to eat them raw ,, i have no idea why 😭😭 i used to think i was the baddest bitch ever.
yk with the internship, i have no idea what to expect, but at the same time im excited for all the doors it opens. the company is basically a research and consultancy agency that works with big corporate clients like McDonald's and also with the public. they do research and then present their findings to the clients to try and help them become better brands and whatnot. i don't really care about the consultancy part, but i can't wait for the research aspect. im trying to go into psychology for university, and me having experience in research will hopefully (i pray that it does) give me a leg up into the research world and work placements while im an undergrad.
OMGGG I HOPE YOU HAVE THE BEST MONTH EVER BEFORE YOU MOVE BACKK !! YOU DESERVE ALL THE REST AND THE HAPPINESS AND IM PRAYING ITS AN EASY MOVE BACK !! i honestly applaud you, idk how you do it. i go camping for 2 days and im literally crying and throwing up because i miss my mum. i literally stayed up until 3am to phone her and tell her i wanted to go home 😭 you're so strong kai and i'm so so proud of you. hopefully moving back is easy and peaceful for you !! also i have so many kdramas to watch, and shows in general, but im so so slow at getting round to watching them 😫 i hope you manage to do everything youve been planning on doing within the next month !!

i always hate the move back to school, it can be rough lol but thank you so much!! i totally get what you mean about getting homesick, my school is two hours away from home and on the first day of my freshman year my parents had been gone for maybe three hours and i ended up calling my dad and crying on the phone bc i missed them 💀 and to think i was considering doing school out of state lol i would not have survived

now we all know baby samu literally is the biggest foodie in the team and he constantly thinks about food 24/7 therefore there isnt much room in there for anything else except for volleyball

your family owned a cafe down the street from the school and you worked there after school to help your parents

this chile was so hungry that he had to skip practice
sending kita a quick text about doing a quick errand, he walked down the street on the hunt for a quick place to grab a bite
he totally ignored kita’s warning of cramps if he ate a lot then practiced but whatever food is life
it just so happens he stumbles upon your family’s cafe
when he entered, the smell of bread and food entered his nostrils causing this baby to just float right in
you were manning the register while your brother was at school so you smiled at the incoming figure of this familiar boy

this causes you and him to be at the sidelines a lot
he would tell you what he thinks would happen next or what the next plan should be and you would provide your own input
in a way, he was the one who really taught you the mechanics of volleyball and he would tell you the different tricks that techniques that the twins came up with
what makes you really soft and fall for him is when he starts to compliment his players
his pride in aran for being one of the top aces that has led them to nationals
his pride in mimi for being able to go on the longest on court and not be tired
his pride on akagi for being able to receive each ball and successfully give it to their setter
his pride on hitoshi for being the one who could handle the team personality wise and his plans for him to be his successor
his pride on ATSUmu for being the best setter he’s ever seen and his drive to get better no matter what
his pride on samu for being so strong and still getting stronger despite his dream career to be something not volleyball-related
his pride on sunA being motivated enough to help the team and make sure everyone knows that every ball can be stopped

it makes you happy that kita relies so much on these guys as much as they rely on him

hes kinda like suna where they dont really say much but when they do, its usually important and not irrelevant like atsumu

you go over to his house a lot to go bake something w him and share it to the guys later on

there is a lot of bonding times as a team bc these boys may seem like all they think about is volleyball but they like to do something else outside of that

Wonwoo has taken quite an interest in changing up the interior design of his apartment. It started from purchasing a new carpet for the living room, then changing the color of the cabinets in the kitchen, up to buying new furniture that is way heavy and difficult to carry with just two hands.
This week, Wonwoo’s goal is combining his work space to his gaming room. That’s why he purchased a multipurpose table and chair set that could bring his vision to life. Ever since he decided to do this, he’s been a ball of excitement. He’s been talking to you about matching the design, feel and energy that he envisions non stop. The joy in his eyes never fails to put a smile on your face. It’s adorable and everything, but again, as you have mentioned, not every piece of furniture is a one man’s job.
After insisting on carrying his new set by himself, Wonwoo is now sporting a sprain on his right hand. You weren’t present when the accident happened and you only found out when a dilemma arose and he called for your assistance.
“I think it will be fine if you don’t shave for a few days,” you say while fumbling with the bladed tool on your hand. “Or I don’t know, a few weeks tops?”
Said dilemma is helping keep his chin, jaw and the borders of his upper lip hairless.
In other words, shaving.
Wonwoo could only smile fondly at your nervous form atop the bathroom sink as you wait for him to finish washing his face. It’s not that you’re obligated to do this as his partner. In fact, you’re right. He can manage without shaving the hairs on his face. It’s just that he’s not used to not shaving and he goes back to work in two days. He would honestly prefer to appear without an unfamiliar look that would only bombard him with questions. He’s not in the mood to explain how and what happened, from beginning to end.
Wonwoo’s smile widens when his freshly washed face meets your gentle hands, wiping the water off of his skin with a soft towel. Despite your reluctance, you’re still ready to take care of him. He kisses your cheek once you’re done and it helps soothe your qualms and fears of accidentally injuring your boyfriend.
“You don’t have to do this,” Wonwoo promises as he takes hold of the shaving cream from the cabinet. “It’s just that I’m really not used to using my left hand.”
“I know, I know,” you agree with a bop of your head. “I wouldn’t want you cutting your skin. Now, that would make me even guiltier.”
Wonwoo just kept smiling. A smile that never drops or fades away whenever he’s with you. He’s not sure if you notice it because he tries his best to be discreet in showing them everytime. But, yes, he’s indeed lovestruck and it is obvious as he dreamily smiles at you.
Finally, you raise your chin up again and that catches Wonwoo off-guard. He gives you a cheeky grin to which you roll your eyes at. You jokingly push his face away, earning a chuckle from him. “Stop smiling at me like that.”
Wonwoo’s eyebrows shoot up in curiosity. “Why not? Am I not allowed to smile at you? Am I not allowed to be happy?”
You only scoff at him before taking the cream from his hand. “Stop smiling at me like that because you know it drives me crazy.”
Wonwoo immediately avoids your eyes as heat slowly crawls up to his face. You don’t fail to notice his sudden shyness and it’s now your turn to chuckle.
Without wasting any more time, you tug at his arm to make his body stand in between your legs. You want to get this over with and at the same time you want your boyfriend to finally get comfortable and go back to finishing setting up his new table (of course, with your guidance and care). Wonwoo’s warm hands rest on your pajama cladded lap. He gives them one to two squeezes as a sign that he trusts you.
“Tell me what to do,” you ask as you squeeze a small amount from the bottle on your palm.
“I usually put that exact amount and apply it to my face,” Wonwoo tells you his routine while guiding your hands to his face. When he notices how you’re doing a good job, he teasingly praises you, “You’re a pro at this. You should take charge of shaving my face from now on.”
“Shut up unless you want another injury.” You fake a glare and he just gives you a pout.
This boy, you thought in love.
After the cream is evenly applied just as he instructed, you carefully graze the razor against his skin, slowly removing the cream and hairs along with it. Wonwoo only made small movements, whispering words of assurance to not scare you. All the while, he has returned his gaze to your concentrated face. Your lip was caught between your teeth as you made sure every part was covered. That makes your boyfriend’s insides all mushy and he can’t wait to pepper your whole face with kisses.
You were finished in less than ten minutes and if you think about it, it’s not that hard. Maybe you do have a knack for shaving your boyfriend’s face. But, you wouldn’t let him know that right now.
“Thank you baby,” Wonwoo expresses his gratitude by locking his arms around your waist and resting his freshly shaved face on the crook of your neck. “I don’t know what I would do without you.”
Your boyfriend’s dramatics is no news for you so you just let him be and return his embrace with a kiss on his forehead.
“Come on.” You give his head a pat to make him let go. “Let’s finish setting your new table up.”

The characters were truly the main eye candy of the game. You’d been worried that when you had been sucked into Devildom, you wouldn’t be able to access the game due to, yknow, realm differences, but luckily that wasn’t the case thanks to Levi, and hence why the moment it dropped, you had been spending your life savings simping for characters on every banner.

Note: sooo this is my first writing ! Omg I’m so nervous I have never written for any fandom before but I wish this goes well 🙏🏻😂 anyway, hope y’all like it and if you have any thoughts about it pls comment I would really appreciate it ☺️💖💖
Summary: NRC was organizing a school festival to attract new students and also to let the guys have a day of fun and chill. However the dorm leaders were out of ideas while deciding what activities they were gonna have, until you decided to talk about some options of what your school used to do in this kind of events (before coming to twisted wonderland), most of those activities were really alike to what NRC already had, except one thing ...
- when you mentioned that in your “dimension” there was different options that could be introduced in NRC at the festival he was actually pretty interested. Obviously he would have to make some changes so that “activities” could fit in Heartslabyul rules but, he never thought that he could have the opportunity to see you in such an ... outfit.
- Who does he think he can fool ? He’s a blushing mess and can’t even look at you in the face. How can he ? The moment you got out of your room with that white coping, that really short skirt, and oh god the stockings
- You look so cute and obedient and hfkogkebdiej
- The plan was simple, you were a “maid” and the boys attending the clients at your side were butlers, easy ! Except from the part of talking to you
- He’s angry because he can’t believe that such an outfit has this power over him and he thinks “god Riddle get yourself together and just talk to her about the menu” but somehow you think he’s angry for some strange reason since he tends to get all red face when he is angry (poor bean he’s trying his best to not collapse)

- what ? A maid cafe ? Isn’t it just like the rest of the maids at his palace in Afterglow Savana ? He’s used to being attended by this kind of servitude at his homeland but he had never seen Classic or French (I leave that to your imagination ☺️) maid style
- He thinks “ohoho this can be quit interesting” and has that smug smirk in his face, OF COURSE he’s gonna take this opportunity to tease you
- However after he sees you in that cute and tempting outfit, for a little moment (just a little moment) he doesn’t want to admit it he goes shy, stops just a moment to admire you from head to toe in your outfit, you go like “what? “ and then he just shrugs it out just in time before you notice “hmph are you some kind of panda ?”
- Seems like he doesn’t care but actually you never get out of his view, he drinks his woman respect juice every morning but not the rest of the students
- If he sees that some idiot gets a little too close to you he may roar from across the cafe and shoot some killing glares to those idiots and problem solved
- Don’t get it wrong, he’s still Leona and may slide the tip of his tail under your skirt a little ... just a little 😏
- He listens to all your descriptions of the activity of the maid cafe, takes notes and adds some good ideas so everything’s on point
- He’s pretty chill the majority of the time while preparing everything, he even helped you to practice your lines so you could attend customers with the best training !
- Until ... he saw you in character. It was kind of a self goal since he told you to not get out of character when you wear your uniform, how fool and unfortunate (lucky) soul he was

- Kalim is also used to being all pampered and having hundreds of people attending him at all times so he’s really curious about what is the difference between what he knows and what you know
- You tell him that is nothing too awesome, but is more to have fun in getting into character of “master and servant” BUT NOTHING IS BORING IF YOU ARE IN IT he tells you that you don’t need to worry and he just wants to participate in the experience
- He doesn’t assist as a butler but like a customer, and the night before the event he can’t sleep from the excitement, “Jamil, how do you think is a maid ?” “Idk Kalim sleep now” “ne~ ne~ Jamil do you think that (y/n) will call me master? tehehe” “OMG KALIM ENOUGH” poor Jamil he also couldn’t get enough sleep that night
- He’s one of the first clients to arrive and oh god ... when he finds you. He doesn’t know what is it with that uniform that it makes you look ADORABLE AND BEYOND also ... kind of .... ?? (Sexy kalim the word you look for is sexy) he just doesn’t know how to react the very first seconds but doesn’t last long until

- Lilia knew about the maids but also didn’t understand the concept of mixing maids and cafes, but Lilia being the little devil he was he said some ... funny information that could intrigue Malleus
- “They are humans, but just like pixies they charm every man when they see them” “charm them ? But (y/n) is human ... how can she/he charm anyone ?” “Hehehe you will understand when you see her/him”
- The day arrived, and oh yeah, Lilia was right, he was expecting you to be little and with wings, leaving pixie dust behind but no ... it was just you with a strange yet cute little skirt and fluffy sleeves... your eyes looked at him and your little cheeks tainted a light shade of pink ... (what is this ? I can’t stop looking at her/him) he was in daze

- You take his order and go to the kitchen (he honestly doesn’t know what the hell he just ordered since he isn’t familiar with the dishes but anyway)
- Maybe he doesn’t notice himself but he’s looking at you everywhere you go with a little smile on his face

His Zacian/Zamazenta loves you as much as it's trainer does, and is willing to protect you from anything

Sure it might took a toll on him when you defeated him on the championship semi-finals, but he wanted you to be happy more than anything

Then he'd check up on you, asking if you're alright, if they did anything to you or whatnot
Hed wrap his arms around your waist and drape his labcoat over you, because he knows his labcoat always manages to calm you down
"It's okay, you're okay, everything is alright now, c'mere"
You let him hug you as you feel safe around him, and you two stayed in that position until you feel alright again

You help him come out with quizzes for his gym challenge
And sometimes joke about the poses he makes when practicing
Sometimes, he gets reminded that you're the champion of Galar and he's way out of your trainer level
Which actually motivates him to become the strongest gym leader there is by pushing past his limits
"I'll show you how strong fairy types can be"
He said to himself as he was thinking about you
People kept misunderstanding fairy types after all, and thats a big mistake
You appreciate his efforts in maxing out his strength, and you show it by coming to his fairy stadium whenever he battles a challenger
You texted him "good luck, I'll be cheering 4 u!❤️❤️👍" before his matches start
And you looked at his direction after sending the message
He has just gotten your message, and opened it
Which leads to him blushing furiously as he covers his face with one of his hands
He took a deep breath and tried to regain his composure, only to fail miserably when he saw you looking at his direction with pure ambition and determined eyes as you grinned happily
All that i could say is, he's red as a beet
He wont lose this match, not when you're watching him.
He puts extra effort when you're watching his match, and made sure not to slip up. It'd be embarrassing if he did.
Opal notices this and only smiled seeing her successor acting out of his place whenever you're around
Opal knows something that you dont, and that's Bede's feelings for you
After his match ended, his Hatterene walked towards your direction, pulling you into a tight hug
You were surprised, but apparently Hatterene has grown to like you ever since she first met you
And when you look at Bede's direction, he was looking away with his arms crossed infront of his chest, visibly drowning in embarassment

You let go of Hatterene and hugged him anyways

Hatterene watched with a smile from behind you, seeing her master in such a flustered state was truly something new for the Pokemon
Not long after, Bede finally let his arms wrap around your waist, giving in to his subconscious and just hug you

His hoodies makes you look smaller than you already are

It makes him melt everytime
Okay aside from that, he's gentle and laid back, even if his personality is quite the opposite when he's on battle

You're actually curious about his fangs since the first day you saw him
And he lets you touch it whenever you like
Youre still curious, because what the hell, its so cool
The first day you saw him after defeating him in a match and gain your gym badge, he immediately took an interest in you and your strength

He called you before you tried to take your leave, gaining your attention
He then asked you if you want to practice with him next time, and have a rematch when you've become the champion
You agreed and exchanged numbers
What can i say, he spams you like?????? A lot
And casually sends you pictures of him and his duraludon
You love his dragons, especially flygon
Flygon loves you too, and one time it wanted to come with you
Raihan lets you keep his Flygon and you send him pictures of you with it
He sends emotes of duraludon crying, wanting to join you and your fun trip with Flygon to grab the Champion title
After you took the Champion title, Raihan greeted you with a big hug
And you hug him back with no hesitation
"Congratulations, may i have a selfie with the new Champion?"
He asked in a teasing manner, letting you down on your feet as you nodded
You took a selfie selfwith him numerous times before he posted it to his social media
He captioned 'First person to get a selfie with the new Champion'
He took pride in that, and some of his fans were jealous that you managed to get a selfie with him
From that day onwards, he'd have casual selfies with you, sometimes hilarious one and sometimes its just for showing off
You didn't mind it really, he's a celebrity anyways, so you understand why he does that
"Hey.. do stars have feelings"
It was three am what the fuck Raihan
You squinted at your screen seeing his message
"Why in the Galar would you be awake, dear Dragon tamer?"
You answered him
And immediately he answered "oh? The Champion is awake?"
You guys didn't sleep afterwards and was sending streaks of blurry selfies
It was fun and helped you cheer up
You got some of his blurry pics that he captioned "party rock in the house" when clearly its just him and his pokemons

The Birthday Surprise

Notes :: i know it's not his bday anymore but it still technically is cuz it's still the 10th here soo- i was actually planning on posting this this morning but i went out and was out for like the whole day so o.o anyways happy birthday to wayv's maknae and my ult bias of all times (if you couldn't already tell djskafh), liu yangyang!!

“Happy birthday!” You smile at your phone as you talk to your friend from across the world through the screen of your phone.
“Hehe, thanks! I’m actually just eating breakfast right now. How are you? You don’t call much anymore.” Yangyang pouts at his last statement.
“I’m great, just busy with school now. What are you eating?”
“Oh, just some food left in the fridge. The dorm auntie came over to clean this morning, and made breakfast.” He aims the camera of his phone downwards towards his food.
“Ooh.”
“Oh! Do I get a gift from you?” A cheeky smile appears on Yangyang’s face.
“Actually, yes! I sent something over to you... Let me just check.”
While checking, the call suddenly ended, or at least what it seemed like to the other side of the call. But the wifi connection where you were at was kind of bad.
You went to open the chat.

“Huh?” Ten was halfway to the door when Yangyang practically jumped off his seat, going to the door excitedly.
“(Y/N) said she got me a birthday gift.” Yangyang skipped happily to the front door.
But to his surprise, it was just his manager.
“Oh, hyung! What are you doing here?”
His manager stared at him for a bit, before asking, “Can I use the bathroom, first?”
Yangyang looked confused. “Huh? Did you come here... to use the bathroom?”
“No, but I need to go so can you please move?”
Yangyang realized he was still blocking the doorway, “Oh, okay.”
Sliding out of the way, he watched his manager dash to the bathroom.
When he came back, before Yangyang could even utter a word, the male was out the door.
“What in the- What was that-?”
“So, what’d you get, baby?” Ten asked as he played with the cats, exiting his room.
“It was just manager-hyung, not my present.” Yangyang pouts.
“Oh, that’s okay. It’s still going to come soon, right?”
“Yeah, I guess...” With a pout still on his face, Yangyang opened his phone to reply to you.

Yangyang had just finished his meal when another knock sounded at the door.
Yangyang couldn’t help getting his hopes up again as he excitedly skipped to the door to be met face to face with the last person he expected to see.
“(Y/N)? I thought you were in (country)?” Yangyang definitely surprised to see his best friend standing on the other side of the door.
“Hehe. There was a long weekend. And I figured I could visit you.”
Yangyang jumped onto you, engulfing you in a big hug. “So where’s my present?”
“Hey! Isn’t me being here a good present?” You wack Yangyang’s shoulder with the sleeves of your sweater.
Yangyang pouts. “No. You being here is the best present I could ever ask for. But you said I had a delivery coming.”
“... Yangyang-“
“Yeah?”
“Let’s get inside first...?”
“...Oh yeah.” An awkward laugh escaped his lips.
“Oh? (Y/N)! What are you doing here?” A familiar voice called on you.
“Oh, hey Ten! I had a long weekend and decided to come visit, especially since it’s Yangyang’s birthday.” You grinned.
“Wow, Yangyang sure is acting older than you; forgetting your birthday while you came all the way here from (country).” Ten grins.
Yangyang smacks him, “Yah! You’re older than me! Plus our age difference is the same as mine and (Y/N)’s!”
Ten just giggles and goes back into his own room.
“Don’t mind him.”
“Haha you’re still getting roasted by Ten?”
Yangyang pouts.
“Fine. Do you have time? Like right now?”
“Hm? Why? Have something planned...?”
“Maybe.” You grin as you stretched out the word “may” in “maybe”.
“Hm, I guess I’m free. What do you have in mind?”
“Coin karaoke!”

“Oh my god, what is this song?” Yangyang scrunches up his nose at the song you’ve chosen.
“You’ve said that about, like all the songs I chose except your songs!”
A sly grin appeared on Yangyang’s face. “Exactly. But only the Chinese songs though.”
“Sorry Mr.Multilingual but I don’t know Korean.”
“Fair point. Let’s take a break now then.”

You spent the rest of the day with Yangyang, except for an hour in which he had spent with his fans on live in the afternoon.
Soon the day came close to an end.
“Yo, I just realized I’ve been hogging you for the whole day.” You suddenly point out as the two of you enter the dorms again.
“Well most of the time we were trying to hide from the public. But, don’t worry. We still got a few hours left. You want to have cake with us?”
“Uhh, actually Yangyang, my flight leaves in 2 hours.”
“Oh.” Then something hit him. “Wait! The things we did today...”
A shy smile appears on your face. “Yeah, they were the things we didn’t have time to do last time.”
“Wow you thought this all through, didn’t you? Even about how I would have to go to the bathroom after watching that movie while you were preparing a picnic?”
You both laugh, “Did you have fun?”
“Of course I did.” His smile shrinks, as he walks forward to hug you. “Thank you for coming. Thank you for taking you time to spend it with me. Wait, so you can’t like stay for cake?” Yangyang pouts.
“Maybe a little cake won’t hurt.” Your smile widens seeing how happy Yangyang has become.

“Happy birthday dear Yangyang, happy birthday to you!”
What you didn’t expect when being told to stay for cake was that you would be having to sit through like 5+ different versions of “Happy Birthday” in all the different languages WayV spoke.
But soon, it was time to say goodbye, again.
“I’ll miss you a lot.” Yangyang pouts.
“Dummy we’ll still call okay? Just don’t call me while I’m in class.” You stop your jokes as you hug him, “I’ll miss you too.”
“I know.”
That sentence made you push him off. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Instead of answering your question, Yangyang says, “Then I guess things would go back to how they were before you came?”
“I guess. Unless you want me to stop texting you while you’re ‘trying to sleep’, huh Yangyang?” You grinned.
“Oh uhh, guess I shouldn’t have bought that mechanical keyboard.”
You both laugh.
“Okay let me say bye to the others, too.”
“Okay.”
You two went back to the group and took a picture before you began walking away.
You suddenly stop, removing your backpack and taking something out of it; a small box.
“Happy birthday, Yangyang. Hope I’ll get to see that sparkle in your eyes again soon.”
Yangyang blinks, “Sparkles? What sparkles? My eyes don’t sparkle.”
You laugh. “Anyways, have a great rest of the day. I’ll text you when I land.”
“Okay. Safe travels!”
“Bye!”
You took a few steps backwards, smiling, before turning around, heading in to check in.
After you turned around, Yangyang looked at the gift box in his hands.
“Hey, that’s not fair! That looks fancier than my present!” Ten tries to lighten up the sad boy.
Yangyang grins through it all as he stares at your head disappearing into the crowds. “It’s the thought that counts.”
“Okay, uhh. I think we should leave soon. Don’t you think people would notice you guys sooner or later?” Their manager pipes in.
“Yeah, let’s get going.”
Ten faces back at Yangyang, who was staring at his gift. “Baby, let’s go.”
“You really got to stop calling me that. I’m 21 now.” They both laugh, as Yangyang closes the box, hiding his gift once again.
It wasn’t anything fancy, but to Yangyang, it meant everything.
It was a stairs keychain, which to others may seem like a weird gift. But the story behind the keychains was how Yangyang met you. And he would never forget that day.
He smiles as he notices his initials engraved into the back and knew this had to be made by you.
kthrn’s notes: after posting my first piece here (a yangyang one) i literally disappeared from everything just to come back with another yangyang “story”. also this could be sorta a sneak-peak to something i’m working on that i might post here. that isn't really a story with a “main plot”, though, and since when i started writing it, i had no plans of publishing it, there are a bunch of false facts in there lol- maybe i could post it 👀 would you want to read something like that here? that would be messy hahaha;; also, i know there’s still a loooong while until christmas actually comes, i thought of something i could do for it 👀 hehe stay tuned~ ok that was long, anyways, if you did, thanks for reading all the way to the bottom of this “endless” author’s note. byee~~
