It took you by surprise - when the headmage announced some students from Noble Bell College will be coming over for a foreign exchange program and that you’ll have to act as a representative of your dorm, all you could think about was the events from the last time you and a few friends visited Noble Bell College. It was disastrous, it was exhausting, and you definitely don’t want another repeat of them. But most importantly, you feel like Rollo didn't quite learn his lesson.
You understand Malleus is as benevolent as they come but… you certainly aren't. Thinking about Rollo again makes your blood boil. What right does he have to strip people of their magic, simply because he lost his brother to it? It's a blatant misplacement of his own emotions and they had to suffer the consequences of someone whose denial is stronger than Malleus himself. You try not to grit your teeth at the announcement.
Though when they finally step into Night Raven’s grounds, it’s a different story entirely.
A pack of them make their way to the entrance where you await them, Rollo at the lead. You and the other housewardens stand patiently in a neat little line. Being right next to Malleus grants you a preview of his reaction up close and so you take your chances - he’s grinning. Of course he is. Ever since that day, it feels as if Malleus sees Rollo as some kind of toy. But you couldn’t blame him, considering the way Rollo played everyone first.
After what feels like eternity, the Noble Bell College boys finally begin greeting you all. They exchange handshakes and pleasantries with you while you put on your best practiced smile. You can’t see their faces but you assume Azul and Idia are a bit tense, being face-to-face with Rollo again. You have no energy to spare for anxiety.
So when Rollo comes to shake hands with you, his face unreadable, your rehearsed smile grows as you take his hand in yours. He walks away with the same amount of emotion he put into that forced handshake and your eyes trail after him. You go back to waiting, your hands clasped in front of you.
In the blink of an eye, Rollo starts shaking uncontrollably, as if being electrocuted. You fight back the urge to laugh at the sight. Though you were a bit concerned about the prank going wrong and severely injuring him instead, the fact that he’s still standing with a perplexed look on his face tells you that nothing went wrong.
Azul Ashengrotto
He jumps slightly at the sight of Rollo’s body contorting in a strange way but once he realizes it occurs a few seconds after he shook hands with you, he hides a twisted smile beneath his hand
He would praise you after the theatrics are over. You shrug it off, mentioning that you just searched up simple pranks online to get back at Rollo
He laughs at your casual admittance to wanting to trick someone who attempted to drain all the magic from Twisted Wonderland. It’s no wonder Rook calls you the Trickster
“Still, even a simple prank like that caught him off guard. That’ll teach him that not every form of revenge has to be grand and catastrophic.”
You dismiss it, admitting to originally intending to resort to kicking Rollo in the balls but you’re afraid of getting caught and being under the headmage’s scrutiny is the last thing you need right now
After that confession, he watches himself, knowing the kinds of tricks you’re willing to pull
You’re certainly a different kind of twisted.
Idia Shroud
He lets out a small “eep!” at the sight of Rollo suddenly acting so weirdly, thinking that he’s glitching out or something along those nerdy lines
After the whole ordeal, he’d think over the event again and come to the conclusion that you somehow manage to tase him from afar
You approach him and confirm his suspicions, to which he responds with his signature creepy giggle (affectionate). He asks you how you pulled it off
“A magician never reveals their secrets, I’m afraid.”
He pouts at your answer but he respects your commitment to the bit plus he bets you got them off the ‘Net, literally everything is there
He would randomly bring it up with Azul in Board Game Club meetings and the two of them would laugh over it
…Little does Azul know that’s just Idia’s tactic of distracting him from the game.
Malleus Draconia
His eyes widen at the sudden movement but then he sneaks a glance at you. You don’t reciprocate but he smirks either way. He knows
After the meet-and-greet, he commends you on the trick and that he was very much amused by it
“Well played, child of man. It’s simple enough that he wouldn’t be able to notice.”
You grin proudly, satisfied that you got your revenge and that your trick was worthy of his attention
He then asks you if you’re gonna pull off any more such tricks. Huh. You didn’t think that far honestly
Because he plans on joining in on your pranks if you would have him
You don’t tell him that you actually just planned that one trick but hey, you’re not going to say no to exacting more vengeance on Rollo.

alright, i'm gonna address this ask once and then just not respond to anything else, even the asks supporting me bc im a little exhausted and on the verge of losing motivation so i dont wanna trigger it by going back and forth with people. yet this does not mean i dont deeply appreciate everyone's sweet messages. means the world to me to know you all have my back like this, so thank you so much 🤍
once and for all: this is fiction. fiction, meant for adults hence the MDNI/18+ in my bio, basically plastered all over my blog.
every character ive created so far is just that. a character. and i need some of you guys to understand that this is what (fan)fiction is about. the smoking, the family trauma, the lack of self awareness, their sexual activities and coping mechanisms, everything regarding and about my characters was created by me and most of the time intentionally.
one thing that also needs to be clear is that you can't just run around policing grown people in their asks talking about such significant issues and throwing around accusations like that because not only is it deeply offensive but it's also very, very dangerous. you misunderstood my post and assumed i'd use sex and sexual intimacy to have him make up for his wrongdoings when that is NOT what i said at all. just please be careful the next time because i understand where you came from but i did not deserve that.
what i also wanna address is the part with me having "impressionable readers" because this is very important to me as a smut writer.
i have set clear boundaries that i do not want any minors on my blog, point blank. now, we all know they're still around. is that my responsibility? no. am i supposed to give a fuck about people who are apparently old enough to consciously read trigger/content warnings and continue to read my work? fuck no. is it my job to educate those impressionable people that they shouldn't read smth if they can't differentiate fiction from reality. Ok so at the end I was like NERVOUS bc there was the chance they could have MAYBE pulled off two different endings depending on whether summoner personally wanted to stay or go back to Mid Earthium- which would have been a cool opportunity that Storytaco could have pulled,, but I guesss instead they did the thing where the choices triggered the same response, but this time in the sense that the rest is left to your imagination:
*you turn around = you stay back at the Boundry with the boys (this is because if you turn around the portal magic thingy won't work)
*or you listen to arcturus = keep walking until you arrive back home (earth)
Personally I chose to turn around bc ,one, the story never really gave me TOO much reason to want to go back home- however it was back there- and two I WAS YELLING THROUGH THE SCREEN NOO I DONT TO LEAVEEE 😭😭 THE WHOLE TIME
Also the voice we hear at the end says
"Can you hear? I have a story I desperately want to tell."
And I?? Can't exactly tell what it means?..OTHER THAN A TEASER FOR MORE CONTENT?? MAYBE PONTENTIALLY?? But if it's actually obviously something else I missed please tell me 😭

There was knock on Chamber's office door. Hearing the knock on the door, he sighs and turns to open it, looking at the person knocking. Yes?
She gives him a charming smirk and speaks like velvet. Beinvenue, Fabron. She hands him the mission brief. A mission, but no bloodshed and war this time. An undercover mission. It was written in the brief that Y/N and Vincent were chosen for the mission. They had to pose as a married couple and attend a meeting with businessmen and their spouses.
He looks at the mission brief for a moment, the smirk he had vanishing completely, then looks towards her. He was surprised at the choice of partners they gave. He had'nt expected Protocol to be so nonchalant about them posing as a married couple.
He lets out a long sigh and looks over the mission brief again. He looks at her from top to bottom, clearly analyzing if you'd be capable of carrying out this mission. ...Well. You look good. No one could tell we're actually not dating, right?
Since both of us are seen as suitable for this mission, why not? She raises an eyebrow with the smug smirk on her face. She leans on the doorframe with her arms crossed.
This catches him off-guard. He raises an eyebrow, questioning whether she is confident enough for a mission as tricky as this one, or if she is simply arrogant. Its a fine-line, to be sure. He narrows his eyes slightly, clearly more intrigued by her.
He folds the mission brief dossier and gestures at his desk. If you are coming, sit down. We have plenty to discuss. She opens her hands, accepting that they really needed to discuss about the mission. She walks inside his office.
Chamber walks behind his desk and opens up a drawer, putting the mission brief in its place. He then sits, facing her with his elbows on the table. Now that both were closer, she saw a more professional look to him. His tie was neat, his shirt was crisp, and his manner was reserved. In a word? Competent.
He looks at her again, analyzing her further. He has less doubts in her now, but she was still a wildcard. He had better make sure she was up to the task for this mission. So, are you ready?
She speaks confidently, almost playfully, yet its visible she is taking this mission seriously. I am. But we really need to prepare somethings before the mission, otherwise we will get caught easily like a rat.
He nods, his expression remaining neutral. There was something to admire about her attitude, but... They werent just going to be posing as a married couple. They were going to be posing as a happily married couple. He would have to figure out exactly how they would both act in marriage. Lets go over this and discuss, shall we? There are some things I'd like to clarify.
She gives him a small nod. She already knew how to act in front of all that people, the boundaries they will have without being too clingy, but she lets him have the word. Of course.
He leans in closer, his expression becoming a bit softer. When he spoke, it was in a calming, reassuring tone. He'd rather her not lose her composure before the mission even started. I want to be clear on this: you dont need to be lovey-dovey in this mission in front of these people. You need to be married in front of these people. Im sure you understand the difference.
Oooh~, my dear husband doesnt like clingy wife? She teases him and laughs heartily. Chamber laughs in spite of himself. He shakes his head, smiling in amusement. She managed to put him at ease, and he had to appreciate that. She didnt make him worry, she made him laugh.
She sighs as her laughter dies down, then she speaks with amusement in her tone and smirk on her face, but she was speaking with the weigh and seriousness of the mission. She knew what she was signing in. We have to figure out how we would act like a married couple, especially in this setting. I'd like to know how we should act around each other. Pretend we've been in a happy marriage for a while.
He leans back in thought, thinking about how a married couple would act. He had seen a lot of married couples, both good and bad. He takes more than a moment to think, though not as long as to actually make a decision. He looks at her with his eyes as stern as they were sharp. Confident and arrogant. Perfect.
She smirks with confidence. There must be someone who can carry him and herself, and she knew its no one except her. Is that a bad thing? We will have so much fun.
She smirks softly. Chamber smiles a little, looking at her for a few more moments before speaking. You... might make a good partner when all's said and done. Suits are required, ladies are to wear formal attire, gentlemen are to look their best and most respectable. You and I are in a high society marriage. We will be greeted first by a host, then taken through the room and introduced to people. You know the drill.
She chuckles heartily. We all know the format. Whats important is how will we pose as a married couple. We need to come up with a story and act like our characters as a married couple.
Chamber thinks once or twice before speaking, his face and manner becoming more professional. He nods his head. I know something we can use. Our partners arent the only businesspeople attending the dinner. There is a CEO, his wife and his daughter. He leans forward, lowering his voice a little as if it were some super-top-secret state matter. The CEO's daughter is single.
She raises an eyebrow, smirking at the information she just got from him. And? Are you trying to cheat on your dear wife?
He looks at her. It takes him a long while to speak, for he is trying not to smirk alongside her. No, this was not some sort of love comedy, it was a mission in disguise. Still, the playful banter was an interesting surprise.
He tries to maintain a straight face in the most "professional" manner he was capable of. His expression slowly turns into one of intrigue. Maybe the daughter is trying to steal me away from you, darling.
She didnt expect him to say something back, but she welcomed it. She smirks and leans back on her chair. I wont back down to protect my husband though. Im quite possesive.
He smirks in a subtle fashion, finding her more and more interesting. He liked the possessiveness she expressed. Her role was going to be more active in this mission than expected. He was starting to appreciate that. Now, if only he was capable of displaying affection to give her the right idea. Is that so? Who said you wouldnt be playing the loving wife, in that case? He laughs. He couldnt play it cold forever. He had to loosen up a bit.
He sits back, putting his hands behind his head and enjoying the banter a lot. She laughs heartily at the sight of him. We are getting far from the topic. Leave the sweet daughter of CEO aside, how will we act in the mission?
Chamber nods, returning to his serious demeanor. He understood the importance of this conversation. He takes a few more moments to think over what he wants to tell her before speaking. Alright, we'll be acting as newlyweds in this dinner. In the eyes of the other businesspoeple, you should look at me with adoring eyes. You are in love and cant keep your hands off of each other.
He rolls his eyes, almost as if he wanted to barf at the idea of the charade. Then, he looked at her with a sly smile. She rolls her eyes and puts a hand on her forehead dramatically. She speaks in dramatic tone as if she is on stage of Shakespeare's play. Clingy wife and reluctant husband? How dramatic.
He tilts his head to the side, enjoying how into character she was. He was enjoying this a lot more now that they both were really into it. She looked like a girl so in love, it was honestly charming. He had seen this expression enough in the face of a woman.
He sighs dramatically, as if he was a man who had to endure a clingy, needy wife. Are we really going to have to do this...?
She sighs heavily. We have to. We will go our own ways after this is over. She crosses her arms as her expression gets smug: raised eyebrow and a cocky smirk. I hope you dont expect something between us after that.
In the back of his mind, he hoped he could have a moment to breathe after this mission. To actually give a girl the kind of affection he couldnt just so easily turn off.
Of course, darling. This is just business, after all. He chuckles a little, trying not to laugh as the expression on her face looked downright funny. He leans back on his chair, smirking. Lets put on a good show, yes sweetheart?
She nods with the same smug expression. Of course, why are we there for if we dont put on a good show? Chamber grins at her, finally actually happy to have partnered with someone like her. Even if they both were going to act like a married couple, she still gave a hell of a good impression.
He looks around the room one more time before standing up and coming around the side of the desk. He leans on the desk as if sitting on the edge of it. He bends forward over the desk slightly, speaking with a low, soft voice that was still loud enough for her to hear. Lets practice.
He gives her a mischievious smile. In one swift move, he grabs her hand and gets her up on her feet, guiding her to him. He pulls her towards him, their faces dangerously close and he leans even closer, whispering in a tone so quiet she barely believe what was happening. He was a lot closer than he should, his breath ghosting over her skin. Well? Whats stopping you from giving me a kiss, my dear wife?
In front of him, she smirks at his move and she put her arms draping over his shoulders. Does my husband wants attention? She speaks like velvet, seductive and teasing. Her tone is quiet yet enough to make him feel something.
He leans forward, getting even closer. He takes a deep inhale, his eyes closing in pleasure. Slowly, and softly, he leans his head against her soft, smooth skin. He was taking that moment to enjoy, to savor every bit of it. His expression was that of pure satisfaction. It would be such a shame to make this a one-time thing. Dont you agree, beloved wife?
She slowly close her eyes as she closes the distance between them. Their lips touches and they share a tender, slow, short kiss. As the kiss stopped, he took one more small moment of her skin. To feel her warmth, her soft skin on his lips one more time.
When it ended, he breathed heavily and slowly, his face was a little flustered. So close, yet he had to stop himself, just barely. At his flustered state, she feels he wants more than what they shared. The same smirk returns to her face. I hope you wont be too attached to your "wife". Because everything will be over when the mission ends.
He finally speaks, his voice is a little hoarse. He was trying to control his feelings better, but she was something else. A part of him hoped she would feel the same. He only leaned back slightly, still close enough for her to touch. I'll do my best to manage.
I hope so. She chuckles almost seductively. She pulls herself away from him and walks towards the office door. Before she opens the door, she turns to him. Her smirk, her damn smirk on her face, she speaks with velvet-like tone. Dont screw this up.
Chamber watches her leave, clearly affected by the sight of her. He breathed quickly, his hands clasping his arms to stop himself from going after her. In one deep inhale, he got himself steady. He was going to enjoy this game.
Before she left, she heard a low whisper from his lips to her ears:
We will see about that, darling.

"You made a nest?" Yoongi asked softly, his whole chest warming at the thought.
"Yeah, it was stupid."
Yoongi put his hand over both of yours and stopped your fidgeting. "It wasn't stupid. Your instincts told you what to do to feel better and you followed them. That's so good of you. It's sick that they wouldn't want that for you. They're wrong, not you."
You looked up at him and tried to blink back the moisture in your eyes. "I'll help you with Eli. What do you think he wants?"
You shrugged. "If she kicked him out, he might be here to yell at me."
Yoongi looked puzzled. "Why would she…is he Lykos too?"
"He's a beta."
Yoongi looked thoughtful for a moment. "What do you want to do?" When you looked confused he elaborated. "Do you want to talk things out with him? Or would you rather have him out of your life?"
He watched your face as you thought it over silently. It seemed as though you were wrestling with various thoughts, only to utter, "he's my brother."
"I know that, but people who hurt you don't deserve a spot in your future just because they were a part of your past. If you never want to see him again, I'll make sure of it."
You gasped softly and raised your eyebrows. Yoongi chuckled, "not like that! I just mean I will protect you from him and make sure he doesn’t bother you again."
"Why?" You wondered innocently.
You'd forgotten his hand was holding yours until he gave them a squeeze. "Because your future safety and happiness are important to me."
It took a moment for the shock of his sincerity to clear from your eyes but when you did you answered, "yes, I think I'd like that. To have him out of my life, I mean."
"Lets go talk to him then," Yoongi agreed with a small smile.
You both got out of the car and Yoongi told you to stay behind him as you approached your brother. You did as he said, only peeking at Eli from around Yoongi's arm.
"Y/N, are you okay?" Eli asked, trying very hard to look at you and not the alpha in front of you.
"Do you even care?" You asked in return.
"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't want to throw you out last night but I had no choice. It's my life. You have to understand," he pleaded.
"If you want to protect it so badly then I don't know why you brought me into it," you spat back. "You could have left me alone if that was how it was going to end. I told you I don't need you and I meant it."
"Maybe you're right. I was just trying to be nice. You're still my little sister."
You shrank to hide yourself more behind Yoongi and he took his cue. "Not anymore. She doesn't want to see you again. Just stay away from her," he said evenly, with no obvious threat, but his seriousness was evident.
"Who even are you?" Eli scoffed.
Yoongi glanced back at you briefly. He wished he could say he was your alpha, but he didn't have that authority. Not officially. "I'm just helping her. So she doesn't need you in her life anymore. Please leave."
Eli shook his head. "Are you the alpha she went looking for last week who wasn't there? Is that how you're helping her? By disappearing?" Eli smirked at the slight flinch of Yoongi's upper lip. "At least you're real. I half thought she made the whole thing up."
Yoongi felt you lean into his back and stood firmer. "You don't need to worry about it. Just go."

Great, now he was threatening me. I had seen Erik half naked last night and I knew that whatever I could do to him, he could do back to me 10x harder. There were too many scars on him for him to be affected by my weak attacks
So, I picked up on his next call. Anything to stop him from looking for me further.
“Baby??” His frantic voice rung out before I could say anything
“Hello?” I mustered the courage to talk back
“Thank god you’re ok. Baby why did you leave me?? you scared the shit outta me.”
“I-I had work…”
“Baby, stop lying to me. I know you don’t gotta work till tuesday, today’s saturday.”
“H-How did you know that?” I was now super worried because if he knew that then he definitely knew more.

A moment of silence flew and then you heard Erik’s deeply disturbed chuckles.
“You don’t get that choice anymore baby, you just don’t understand the love I have for you. I licked it so it’s mine, and i’m coming to get what’s mine.”
“Erik you’re not understanding. I dont wanna be with anyone right now. Im sorry if you thought I wasn’t serious about that but I need time to heal from my last relationship still.”
That was a lie I am 110% over my ex. I wouldn’t go back to him even if every other man on this earth spontaneously combusted. But I am still uncomfortable with relationships and the level of vulnerability people have to display in a relationship.
“Heal? What the fuck did that nigga do to the point you gotta heal? I swear just tell me who he is baby and I’ll get him out the the way… forever.” he sounded much too serious
“Look Erik, I really had a great time but last night was the end of whatever we had. I…I think you took it the wrong way so let me be very clear. I do not want to be with you or anyone. I really just want to get to know myself more and im sorry if it’s hard for you to detach from someone you’ve had sex with but I need you to do it. I’m just not the girl you’re looking for right now and i’m really sorry for making you think I was.”
“You done?” Erik responded boredly, like what you were saying was just an unnecessary manual.
“Um…yeah?” I was skeptical about answering because honestly I didn’t know how he would react
“Well then, I guess it’s time to make myself very clear. We are together, and people that are together don’t leave. You don’t wanna be with me right now, and that’s fine. But we are dating. Shit at this point we might as well be married. Because I love you, not only that but I’m in love with you. I think about you all day, and when I sleep I literally fucking dream about you. I needed you, so I got you.”
There was an extremely long silence after that.
‘If I were still that young and romantic teenage girl the words themselves would’ve made me swoon. But i’m not dumb and young anymore, I know men are dangerous and see women and people like me as trophies to just sit on a shelf to collect dust, only pulling them out when they want to.
But apparently I am still dumb. Why did I even do this to myself or him? He’s clearly insane and something I did just set him completely off.’
I had no words to say. Not only has anyone ever said anything remotely similar like that to me but even if they had I would still have no clue what to say. The only thing I could think was:
‘Should I hang up?’
“I know you fuckin heard me. I love you, and there’s nothing you can do or I can do to make me stop. Now please, stop being difficult and just open the door baby.” He started aggressively but ended with a soft serenading tone
“Wha-.” You couldn’t even finish before you heard it

hi ks!! hope you're doing well. i absolutely love your hannibal meta posts, and while i have no idea if youd still be open to any asks, id love to hear your insight on something im stuck on (im also rly new to analysis so pls forgive me for any dumb comments!!) tw sa mention
in the hannibal s3e13 script when dolarhyde attacks will in his hotel room, there are a few lines with notable word choice:
"postcoital" "terrible lover's embrace" it threw me off a bit bc i didnt expect such specific wording. is this scene an allegory for sa? i wasnt sure if this was just the norm for hannibal scripts or if this was something noteworthy.
as far as i understand dolarhyde is now terribly jealous of will for being the subject of hannibal's love and angry at being emasculated. lots of ppl also say dolarhyde wanted to "change" hannibal by ruining/"defiling" the one thing (will) he truly cared for.
everything seems to makes sense, but i dont know if im making something out of nothing, or oversimplifying it. do you have a take on this considering your opinions on the francis hannibal and will dynamic? id love to hear anything you have to offer!! ty for all you do <3

So, 'Hannibal' scripts are indeed famous for having rich sexual imagery. In this specific case, there is also context. I don't know if you've seen this already, but there is indeed evidence that Francis had sexual interest in Hannibal (apart from other kinds of fascination). From his notes made for the show, this particular bit (transcribed by Bentley):
“I think we are so similar and could be the best partners that history could have seen. Let me show you what we could do together doctor. I am so eager to please you to be your friend your lover perhaps. Why not I think we could love each other doctor. Don’t you want to have someone that is the one in your life. That special someone that is always here for you. It is me doctor? I am!”
Here’s an interesting part about Will as addressed to Hannibal:
“He faces you, he traps you but in the end he is broken! Do you think he understands you? Do you think he really appreciates your magical power? Does he realize how special and unique and wonderful you are doctor. I have my doubts, I don’t think he really sings the wonder, the salvation that can come from following you, knowing you. ”
That’s extremely interesting because it gives a much deeper insight into Francis and his motivations. For one thing, one of the phrases that always bothered me in the show is his description of Will - namely, the mention that he’s “not very handsome”. It’s from the books, so it might apply there, but Will in the show is handsome, very much so. Francis seems to resent him.
After Hannibal basically helps Will get to Francis in the museum & some more events later, Francis grows furious because he realizes that Will is the central player while he, Francis, is a pawn. Hannibal doesn't care about him the way he thought.
Francis’ attitude to Will undergoes some changes: at the start, he touched his photo, which denotes his interest. He threw him away like a toy in the museum, and while it’s just an interpretation, to me, he looked pissed at Will in particular. When he tells Hannibal later that Will interests him, it can’t be just from their museum encounter. Francis clearly knows a lot about Will (likely from Freddie’s articles), but he doesn’t like him because he thinks him unworthy of Hannibal, which his notes prove. But in TWOTL, in the moment you mentioned, Francis is very unsure about Will. He is no longer certain what to think of him (since he thinks Hannibal has chosen him). He automatically treats him with some sort of respect because of who he is to Hannibal and what he must represent.
I think this explains how they chose to describe the scene of the attack. It's not necessarily a sexual assault, but violence frequently has erotic undertones in 'Hannibal.' Here, Francis might be trying to look at Will like Hannibal, like a lover, hoping to understand what he sees in him. He's respectful and almost reverent at some points after Will regains consciousness. In his eyes in these moments, Will is Hannibal's partner, the man who has what Francis wanted.
Notably, this respect turns into fury in the finale, where he attacks Will viciously. Interesting that he goes to ruin his face first and foremost. Considering his own insecurity, it says a lot about his many-layered jealousy, from deep to a superficial physical level.

is there any way i can get someone in my system to help me ?
i have a slightly dangerous thing i do and i need help (tho im looking into fixing it myself i hope my sys can help me too..)
can i like. get someone to take up a system role ? or switch roles? despite my system most likely being created to protect me we suckkkk at that :/ i just mostly need someone to stop me from doing anything dangerous but our main protector only fronts during abuse or situations that remind us of it ,, and i forgot if we have anyone else like him

hey. it sounds like you’re in a pretty rough situation - we’re sorry you’re going through this!
in general, we think it’s a bad idea to ask or expect your headmates to do things for you that they may not want to do or be able to do, for that matter. still, we know that having support from other members within a system can be immensely beneficial.
have you tried communicating with your headmates about this activity, your concerns, and how they may be willing to help put a stop to it while detailing what actions you currently are taking to change? ultimately it will be your responsibility to commit to positive change, but having a headmate who supports your efforts can make a world of difference. be ready to respect their choices though, and understand if they’re unwilling or unable to help you with this! they may have their own problems to deal with, be physically incapable of intervening, or have some other reason for not helping you commit to changing your actions.
it also may be a good idea for you to seek some outside help from a loved one, therapist, or close friend. they may be willing to let you reach out to them when you feel like doing something dangerous, to help distract you and give you a chance to calm down. we think something like this could be even more beneficial than relying on a headmate inside to keep you from doing dangerous things.
if you tend to act dangerously when feeling overwhelmed… we’ve found that dialectical behavioral therapy skills are incredibly useful for learning how to effectively manage overwhelming emotions. you can get the dbt workbook we use for like $15 usd on amazon:
and here’s a post we made discussing the dbt skill, rest (an acronym for relax, evaluate, set an intention, and take action) which really helps us when we’re feeling overwhelmed:

i am working through something and i wanted to express it somewhere but it feels too personal to say publicly.. and your blog feels like a safe place to confess things.. I want to go on hrt but am terrified of my mother's reaction. she knows im trans and is a lot more ok with it than she used to be but she still doesn't understand and is really bothered by her own lack of understanding. and my sense is that when my appearance changes from T shes going to hate it and be extremely upset. I'm an adult and I dont want to be controlled by my mother's feelings but due to my family dynamics growing up I have rotated around her feelings my whole life, its not as bad as it used to be but i still feel her feelings are dangerous and painful to me. I have a great support system, im blessed with so many friends and even my older siblings who I wasn't close with have been very supportive of me being trans. I dont need to be scared, materially I will be safe and loved even if my mother hurts me. but still its so terrifying to me. I want to get over this and not feel so dependent on her approval, but at the same time i dont even know if its possible. who can help wanting their mother to love them? or even more than love, because i know she does love me and thats really why its so hard, i want her to approve of me and be happy for me. I dont want the happiness i know i will feel from going on hrt to be ruined by her hating my life choices. my spiritual life is pushing me to take control of my life and bring my internal self and reality into the material, I know i cant keep ignoring my own physical desires and living with dissonance between the internal and external...so im moving towards that and i know i'll get there regardless its just terrifying and i wanted to talk about it.. uhh ya sorry this is so personal and emotional i hope it isnt uncomfortable for you or anyone else to read because i know these are really painful issues for many people. and i don't expect you to have any advice necessarily i know htese are huge issues to work through... i just wanted to express it and put it into the world that i'm working on this. thank you for letting me use your askbox to talk! hope your day is great
thankyou for trusting me with your confession anon <3 its not at all uncomfortable to me for you to confide your feelings.. Does anyone who's transitioned have supportive advice they cld leave for anon in the replies? i dont want to speak on something i havent personally experienced.
One thing i do relate to immensely is having a mother who doesn't try to see you as a unique individual, and becomes very displeased when u act in ways that don't align with her worldview. my mom will straight up tell me i look ugly with pink hair. my mom knows i make music but she's never asked to hear one of my songs. she doesn;t want to know about anything that interests me or my motivations in life. etc etc. and it's that same feeling of like, well, she does Love me i think, but i'll never feel that she truly approves of me. idk what the answer is..in my own life it has lead to me being quite a distant person, and rebellious in nature, i coped with it by purposefully leaning into the parts of me she disapproved of most. but idk if that's been healthy for me.
ultimately, we will disappoint everyone in our lives at one point or another.. Sometimes even when u try ur best to please someone it still doesn't work out. so please dont be too hard on urself <3 One thing im learning to cope with my ocd spirals (usually body dysmorphia or guilt related) is to "zoom out", try and redirect my thoughts to the bigger picture of life, it makes my own problems feel smaller in a way that doesn;t silence or dismiss them, just re-contextualizes them in that moment and makes it feel less imminent & overwhelming. mayb i can talk more about methods and analogies for this sometime.
Hope u can find some peace anon and i'm sure your hopes and dreams will materialize for u if u just keep going & focusing your energy on ur dreams. Stay safe <333 PMD9

The idea that relationships in fiction have to portrayed as “good and moral” is so absurd. I don’t think Dick and Barbara are toxic, but I do think that they are a match that I don’t care too much about reading. Their relationship conflicts are less interesting than other conflicts between other relationships and their confessions for one another are just bland. Because this is comics and characters are not making their own choices, it is up to writers to be the ones who are making creative decisions and when it comes to these two you can tell the well is dry. I’ve come to be more open about the Jason and Barbara pairing, but not really as a last resort pairing or “well I guess if she has to date someone then make it Jason” way. I would be open to seeing them having a relationship where they can love each other enough while bearing witness to what the other has become. Both these character being prickly and honest with each other but also not feeling as judged because they both make messed up decisions. But DC fandoms and especially Batfamily fandoms are so against change that it is no wonder that there continues to be so much racism and other problems that DC continues to have when so many writers and fans are still clinging to writing and dynamics that no longer exist or are outdated.

I do agree that relationships in fiction don't have to always be portrayed as "good and moral," however you don't put oil and water together and call it a match. If a relationship is supposed to be good and moral, it should be portrayed as such. If a relationship is supposed to be a rollercoaster with negative energy, it should be portrayed as such. You don't portray a good and moral relationship as one that is a rollercoaster with negative energy and vice versa. For me, this part is about context.
I don't read their content because I am not fond of them, but lately I do find myself speaking up more about it largely because it's the current plot in Nightwing and it keeps popping up. I dont think there is really anything else worth talking about with Nightwing right now. And I do blame TT for that because he specifically forced a Batgirl and Nightwing run on us lol. The well is dry AF for Nightwing in general. Imma need him to get some new and interesting content ASAP.
I love how you interpret Jason and Babs. I understand Nightwing and Red Hood fans are destined to be at war for all eternity, but we do need to start putting more respect on Jason's name. lol he is not taking Dick's sloppy seconds nor he is a last resort. He has just as much right as Dick to date around. If a genuine connection happens with Jason, what is the issue with that? Don't we want Dick, Babs, Jason, Bruce, ect ect to be happy? If Jason and Babs are happy, why ruin it? And before someone says 'Dick and Babs are happy," yes Dick and Babs are happy. But the difference is that there are more times Dick and Babs were not happy together vs times that they were. And Dick and Babs were both perfectly happy with other people before being torn apart from them and pushed together. The difference is that Jason and Babs don't have that history. Writers literally have a clean slate with Jason Babs as a couple to work with.
I think fans are more open to change than most realise. I think it just depends on how the type of change is and how it's implemented. I think the onus here is more on the writers refusing to live outside their nostalgia and forcing everyone to relive their favorite periods over and over again. Tom Taylor really had a chance to do something unique and different with Dick, but what does he do? He did the same thing that Dixon, Grayson and Seeley did with Dick. DC is going downhill fast and the only thing that will save it is likely a hard reboot with A LOT of new original content.
And lastly, Dick should be with someone outside the Batfam not in it. Same for Babs and Jason.

what are your thoughts on trans men? i am a trans man who told my family when i was 12 that i wanted to be a boy. i didn't know that being transgender was a thing, nobody told me i should become a boy, and i believed that women were just as strong and capable as any man. i am 18 now and medically transitioning not because i am "deluded" or "crazy", but because being called she or her or my deadname physically hurts. i've attempted suicide twice, but i am much happier now, and my male-to-female friends have had similar experiences. we are not grooming children- many of us realized we were trans as children, without outside intervention. educating on lgbtq history and trans issues does not force somebody to be trans. and as somebody raised female, i understand being afraid of men and paranoid that they are out to get you, but have you considered that not everything is about you? that a trans woman isn't uprooting her entire life just to fuck you in a public bathroom? trans people are not preying on cis women. we just want to be normal.
I think it is very common for younger girls to want to be boys. There are pleanty of reasons why puberty is uncomfortable for both boys and girls. It is an awkward time, and there are a lot of cultural factors that tie into it as well.
I dont feel differently about women being trans and identifying as men, save for the fact that women are physically built differently than men and are on average, not as strong. I still think there should be more single stall bathrooms, that would fix some problems. I still think you shouldnt be allowed to change to a different sex sports team.
Personally, the trauma I have experienced occured when I was roughly 4 to 10 yesrs old, and it wasnt violent. So, I am not worried about myself nearly as much as I am worried about other women and girls.
Sure, if someone genuinly feels they should be a different gender and they are 18, they are an adult and can make their own choices. However, I think men who know damn well they are men, are acting as if they are trans to get access to vulnerable people. I think it is the responsibility of people who identify as trans, and as you say "just want to be normal", to understand the consequences of allowing people to self identify and use whichever restroom they please.
Someone who has a paraphilic disorder will do whatever it takes to satisfy their urges. They are abusive and manipulative and are a danger to others.
It is more of an issue for men to identify as women because men, even going through hormone therapy, will have the physical advantage over women. I know these are generalities, but it is the duty of good people to protect others. If you are trans, i think it is up to you to manage yourself and act accordingly, finding a single stall bathroom. Fight for that if you want to fight for rights.
At the end of the day, I believe that allowing biological men into women only spaces removes the rights of biological women...I dont aim to offend people, but i wont keep my mouth shut just because people get offended. I wish the world was perfect and we could trust people to be honest and kind, but that isn't reality.
And words cannot cause a physical pain to someone. You may feel a strong emotional reaction, but while I believe words do have power, they cannot physically harm someone.
I am sorry you felt so strongly you tried to take your life, but my opinions on suicide are another topic and i will offend even more people. If you want to have that conversation I will, but anyway...and I am glad you personally feel better about yourself, and you may not personally be a groomer, but people who want to cause harm are benefiting from certain actions.
