if the word queer was banned i'd have to start saying shit like "well, i'm asexual, and i used to identify as an ace lesbian, but i'm not a woman any more, so i'm not really sure where that leaves me, and also i've been romantically interested in people who aren't women but also aren't men so maybe biromantic would be a better term except the bi label doesn't really feel like it fits, and lately i've been wondering if i might actually be on the aromantic spectrum but that's a problem for later, also i'm nonbinary and genderfluid but sometimes i feel like i have no gender at all so maybe agender is better but honestly it changes on the daily so who even knows."

TADC Cast Body HCs (+ Other HCs)

Warning for like not full on nudity but characters in their underwear as to show off their body types. This is in NO WAY sexual in any context, this is me showing off my personal hcs for them and practicing body types. if you think this is in any way sexual, then your mind's simply in the gutter

First is Pomni. I like her being a bit of the rounder type despite her being a fucking twig in canon. Also tail because we love cat Pomni. The most fun I had was with her slightly changed outfit!

Gender and Sexuality HCs: Transfem and Demiromantic Lesbian

Of course, I did Ragatha next. I thought her having joints that were also stitched would be a nice touch! That with the freckles, literal belly button, and adding some more pink, she looks wonderful

Gender and Sexuality HCs: Cisgender and Bisexual (Female Lean)

To complete the first trio, I then did Jax. Admittedly, his design wasn't changed all that much. I just gave him slightly more cartoonish features. Same color palette and all!

Gender and Sexuality HCs: Transmasc and Bisexual (No Lean)

For the first of the second trio, I did Gangle! She was very easy to make tbh, but I wanted to give her something to wear- so a hoodie will do! I think it fits her well

Gender and Sexuality HCs: Cisgender and Aromantic and Asexual

Admittedly I wasn't thinking of giving Zooble anything to wear, but this shirt popped into my head so I just had to. Their design didn't change much, but I just added more details

Gender and Sexuality HCs: Agender and Pansexual

Second to last was Kinger, and yes I DID have a funny experience drawing him without his robe. Similar to Gangle and Zooble, there wasn't much to add/change except give him some more detail

Gender and Sexuality HCs: Cishet Ally (He misses his wife)

Last, but certainly not least, it's Caine! I originally WAS going to give him an out of ringmaster body, but then I remembered a Gooseworx fact that he is actually nothing underneath. And I just HAD to do that

What do you think gay men are attracted to in men that they can’t be attracted to in women?

It can’t be anything about femininity or masculinity obviously. That’s both sexist, and cultural so can’t be what drives men-only attraction.

It can’t be anything about stated identity because someone could lie just as easily as they could tell the truth in such a statement, and it makes no sense because homosexuality and heterosexuality exists in other species with no stated identities. It’s not like other animals without gender are all pan.

Saying idk it’s the vibes or some indescribable trait men have that women can’t but “I can’t explain” is a nonanswer.

I'm probably too tired/stoned for this and I have absolutely no idea why you sent me this anon.

But first of all, I personally believe that 90% of the population is bi/pan/poly/omni etc. Because almost all of us have an exception if we say we're only straight or gay. And the fact is, nonbinary and trans people exist. It's very hard to say "I am not attracted to any person outside of one specific gender" when you might be a straight woman say and see a masc presenting person who identifies as nonbinary. Well, congrats, you're not just attracted to cis men anymore. There are so many people we just haven't seen that we could be attracted to or not.

But also this goes for allo people. There are, of course, asexual/aromantic people who just don't experience attraction at all. I'm one of those people. I'm not sex repulsed, but honestly, I don't understand primary attraction to begin with. I've never looked at someone and immediately found them sexually appealing (though I can appreciate aesthetic from a back burner view if that makes sense.)

Seriously, anon, why did you pick an autistic agender asexual guy to make this question out to? Also I think the best way to answer your original question, some people just prefer dicks or vaginas or butts or mouths or nothing (etc.)

First of all I'm gonna start off with like sexuality headcanons, then afterwards we'll move onto gender ones

THE GAME IS JUST FULL OF BISEXUALS, LIKE DESUHIKO, MARTINA, YAKOU!! Yomi I can also see being bisexual except I also believe he is aromantic (or at least somewhere along those lines) since he said he doesn't love people

Yuma is pan, along with Halara and maybe Shinigami too (I mean did you see how her and fubuki got I'm just saying enemies to lovers arc??) I can also see Vivia except he'd be more on the asexual side of things, like romantically he loves any gender but he doesn't want anything further than that

The lesbians are Guillaume, Fubuki, literally all of Aetheria Academy except for Kurumi and Karen (I can only see those two as straight)

The gays are Seth and Zilch (or well the hitman anyway)

AND THEN THE AROACE KING HIMSELF WOULD BE MAKOTO!!!

Before moving onto gender, I would like to add that Waruna, Yoshiko, Aiko and Kurane were in a poly relationship.

In terms of gender, I haven't thought too much about it, though Halara is 100% non binary (and that's not even a headcanon)

I feel like Seth would be agender, probably with he/they/it pronouns kinda thing. The same can also be said for Makoto probably too.

I saw this post ages ago (I have no clue who made it though) but they said Yuma has all pronouns and is genderfluid AND I LOVE THAT IDEA!!!

Shinigami and Kurumi would be demi-girls, Guillaume would be a trans girl, Yomi just always gives me massive trans energy for some reason so I feel like he would be a trans guy

I live in the US and like to make art! This blog is mainly OC and story art, art challenges, and general tumblr interactions. I have a fandom sideblog @themostuselesspotato where I post, you guessed it, fandom stuff (not specifying here, there are far to many). Outside of drawing, I also enjoy reading and most crafts.

I am currently in the process of writing/illustrating a webcomic that I plan to start releasing on webtoon this summer! The characters that I draw here will be part of it :)

I am currently going to school for graphic design, so I know how to and frequently use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Primere Pro both in and out of school. My current profile picture was made on Illustrator for an ongoing branding unit in one of my classes. I also learned how to design, cut, and press T-shirts.

On the topic of school, I also participate in band! I did summer marching band last year, and hopefully will continue to do so until I graduate. I am a percussionist, and my favorite instruments to play are bass drum, vibraphone, and this one specific marimba we have in class (no seriously, I could rant about how nice it sounds for HOURS). During marching band, I played second bass drum.

I just finished doing the Fishuary art challenge!! I plan to do MerMay and Goretober as well (yall BETTER hold me to that, I still haven't finished last year's Goretober).

Random facts about me! Idk

I can kick someone of adult height in the face if I want to (for some reason I can just kick really high)

When I was in 3rd grade I handwrote a two page informational essay about mosquitoes from memory in an hour

I have a cat! Her name is Stormy, she's 3 years old :) lmk if yall want to see pictures of her, I've got so many pictures

The only video game I've played is minecraft on a kindle fire that I won from selling girl scout cookies at the age of ten. This shitty thing can support like one world at a time and STILL crashes

Once I smashed my knee between a boat and dock at 8am bc I was running off of hot cocoa and 5 hours of sleep and thought my knee was a good cushion for the boat that was coming in at the wrong angle. Don't do that!! Hot cocoa induced decision making is bad! And boats are still very heavy even if they're very slow!!

The A does not fucking stand for ally

I am asexual and aromantic and proud of it, and I am just as much a part of the community, just as queer, as any of my trans, gay, and mspec siblings.

Vent below (:

I realize that I'm sometimes a little optimistic, but I did really think that this wasn't an issue anymore, except for those terminally online exclusionists and the well-meaning but uninformed.

I did not expect it to be an issue at a college event's queer resource center table.

They had some buttons and stickers that I was pawing through. I didn't really expect my sunset aroace flag, since but I'm aware it's not terribly well known, but had hope for an ace and an aro button. Maybe with cute puns.

I found one generic ace sticker- a little heart, on a roll with several other flags. Including polysexual, omnisexual, pan, and bi. Amongst the buttons were many more obscure flags, like polyamorous, genderfluid, and agender.

And honestly even thought it bites, I usually get it! I'm used to it, you have to pick and choose your flags, right? Asexual isn't in the big 4 and aromantic is even less well known.

But to include polysexual and omnisexual alongside bi and pan, to include agender but not asexual or aromantic???

And I'm genuinely ecstatic they got recognition to be clear! I was very glad to see the polyam button especially, since I've never seen the flag in person before! But including so many more obscure identities and microlables when the term asexual has been around since the infancy of Pride, and aromantic is literally almost as old as me, give or take a year??

But what was worse to me was that they had a little calendar of events- I can't even remember the specific one, something like a discussion group?- but whatever it was, was titled LGBTQ & A.

As in: and allies. It just-

I get not wanting to use the extended acronym, it's bulky and hard to be inclusive even when you use the plus, and that's why I use queer. But then to say A is for ally?

I admit I feel kinda petty about being so hurt. But I have a right to my anger and frustration and sadness when the community I stand with that is supposed to stand by me just. Doesn't. Doesn't even acknowledge that yes love is love but some people don't and we're with them too!

I'm almost completely unable to interact with the community irl. To have this be one of my first, indirect as it was, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think that this was an accurate picture of the center, and I have hope that it's better than it presented itself here.

The A is for asexual and aromantic (and agender too, if they want to use it). Not allies. I didn't think that visibility was too much to ask.

Trickstar are numero uno always and forever, naturally! They are just so the bestest of friends, soulmates even, i wish i had what they have...

But i also do like his dynamic with natsume and koga! I find it sweet how subaru and natsume were friends during war era, when they both were fairly isolated, and i remember reading some fairly wholesome moments between subaru and koga...

His dynamic with chiaki and nagisa are also definitely interesting :3c

Definitely a very complex character, that i struggle to understand sometimes...but he's definitely interesting, and i do like him! He's in my list of characters i gotta get to know more...so actually, i would be interested in an info dump from you :3c because as i like to say, if finding the time or energy to read stories is too hard (which often is--), just ask your friend to info dump about their little guy-- its another good way to go...:3c

I also think he deserves some more love and recognition! And the good kind! He's not the ensemble stars for nothing after all/j

So I saw on Twitter the other day this proposed new design for the poly flag:

A bunch of people had opinions about this good and bad, and while I have my own thoughts on the design itself (the lack of symmetry is bothersome but overall it’s... fine), what really struck me is its use of color and just how many Pride flags use pink and blue, particularly as gender symbolism. Like, aside from the heart, this is just the bi flag rearranged- which technically pink is for same sex attraction and blue is for opposite sex, but really I think the average person generally interprets it as attraction to men, women, and purple (other)*. Same with the pan flag except “other” is yellow. And the trans flag, obv, heavily relies on pink and blue with white as the “everything outside the binary” option. Demiboy is all about blue cause boy and demi girl is mostly pink cause girl. Genderfluid and bigender are both varying arrangements of pink and blue, hinting at the “bothness” of those identities. Even the lipstick lesbian flag is pink and red while the gay men’s flag is blue and green.

The flags really only break away from the pink/blue hues when talking about things outside of gender or that reject it all together. Asexual, agender, and aromantic all avoid pink and blue while representing identities that define themselves as apathetic to gender. Genderqueer, intersex, and nonbinary are similarly without while existing outside the strict man/woman dichotomy.

So that begs the question- why is it that we as a community that is so radical when it comes to sex, gender, presentation, and roles are so hung up on what is pretty basic gendered color symbolism? Maybe it’s just what everyone thought would be the most recognizable or was easiest to produce at the time, but we’re living in 2023. People are proposing new pride flags all the time. This whole post started with a new flag trying to replace an old one (that wasn’t pink and blue btw). So what is keeping us beholden to this pink/blue scheme? Why is it that I can watch dozens of TikTok’s saying things like “Gendered marketing is so silly! Pink used to be a boy color!” when we literally all agreed that the flag for gay women needed to be pink and gay men blue?

Am I overthinking this? Abso-fucking-lutely. It’s my specialty. But I also think it is an odd thing that deserves thinking about. Particularly as some cis people in this community are turning a blind eye to what our trans and nonbinary siblings are facing politically. Gender is having a moment right now, for better or worse, and I think it’s worth while to examine our own preconceived notions and biases. As we try to break molds and destroy binaries, what old modes of thinking are we holding onto? What is literally baked into how we represent ourselves?

And, please, I am NOT saying that we need to get rid of all the pink/blue flags or that liking one is bad. I myself have a bunch of bi-flag merch and I’m not keen to dump it anytime soon. Great things and huge movements have thrived under these flags and I have no intention of minimizing that. But just like the curtains are more than just blue, our flags are more than just pretty colors. There’s meaning to be found everywhere, and there’s nothing wrong with sitting down to really look that meaning in the face sometimes.

* I’m ready to be wrong about this, but it’s what tends to be the first impression I’ve heard from people who don’t already know.

Oc art time!!! This post was drafted back in march but never finished (i think i started writing it in school-), so i'm finishing it now!!!

Main crew of Sticky Notes, my original story! Characters are, in order!

Lucien the kitsune! She is the melee/tank of the team, and is the main character! She is agender aromantic asexual, and is left handed! She uses mirror pronouns. She has social anxiety, and is generally quiet. She's the one who's design has changed the most since I originally made her

Skylar is a cat fairy! She is the healer! She is a cis lesbian girl, and uses she/her, fae/faer, and they/them pronouns! She's very energetic, always flying around and never touching the ground, thus her lack of shoes, and is dating Hailey!

Nothing is set in stone for me. I see other people’s ideas that I like and change up in my head a lot so anything I say here can probably change. Also I was gonna draw the characters with their flags or something but considering I can’t decide, I am just gonna ramble.

Norma: I’ve seen people call her a lesbian, which I like a lot, but I can also see her as asexual or at least aromantic. An aro lesbian seems like a nice fit for her. I can also see her as either a cis woman or trans woman, keeping the she/her pronouns.

Lizzie: I think I saw someone use all pronouns for Lizzie and I honestly love that. So like for me, He/It/They/She, mainly It/They with He/She being put in every so often. I’ll probably forget about this tho, but I really like that as an idea! Gender-wise would probably be either agender, genderfluid, or nonbinary. I’m liking agender. For sexuality... hmmm, this one I’m not sure about, I’d honestly like it to be asexual as well, but that I just because I really like Lizzie and want to project onto them, but also being pan or bi is something they could definitely be!

Morris: He/Him for Morris, and probably gay, or bi/pan/omni leaning a bit to the masc side, tho he probably doesn’t realize that yet. I can see him being pretty fluid and open in his sexuality, willing to try new things when he can. Um, probably a cis man, could be nonbinary.

Adam: Either a straight trans man, or an intersex person who likes women. Pronouns would probably be mainly he/him but he’d experiment with other pronouns and neopronouns, especially with Lizzie. Trying new things to see what sticks or doesn’t. Honestly I can see Adam trying yo/yoself pronouns for a while, maybe they stick or not, idk.

Sam: Definitely a neopronoun user. Has a whole list. Any pronouns work for Sam, except maybe it/its pronouns. So like, the standard she/her/they, but also things like ze/xir/mew/star. I can even see them using emojis when texting as pronouns. Literally just have fun with pronouns with Sam, she’d love it. And xe’d be aromantic but wanting a queer platonic relationship someday. With gender they would still identify as a woman, but does not care about gendered terms being used on them though likes it when people mix things up for fun instead of just using the same identifiers for xir.

Gisu: Trans woman. She/her. Either like straight or poly. Or like polyamorous but only attracted to guys, something like that. She can appreciate a woman’s beauty, and could romantically date one, but is sexually attracted to guys, or at the very least masc people. I don’t know if I am explaining this right. Though, honestly in some interpretations of Gisu I can see her being aromantic or just unlabelled. The only reason I am leaning towards the first part is because I am starting to come around to the Gisu/Dion ship, though her being aromantic and dating Dion is something that is definitely possible. Like Sam, she could want a queer platonic relationship with guys.

Raz: Raz is technically an intern so I’ll add... him? I’ll be honest, I saw Raz as a cis man (boy? considering Raz is younger would boy be a better word? idk), but then I started seeing trans Raz, both transmasc and transfem. And I really like both of those ideas. Kinda leaning a bit more towards the transmasc idea, but honestly transfem Raz where she realizes she’s a woman later in life and has Lilly to help is something really nice to think about. So Raz’s gender is in the air for me, but I do think Raz would like women at the very least, either just women or both genders (and anything inbetween). So Raz either Raz being straight (transmasc), a lesbian (transfem), or bisexual works for me. Transmac Raz would be he/him for a long time and then go to he/they at some point, while transfem Raz would start off as she/they and then go entirely to she/her.

Obey me! Gender and sexuality headcanons

⚠️This is just a headcanon! Any ideas are fine!⚠️

Usually, I see all the non-human character as gender fluid, because they can change their appearence however they want and feel more comfortable. But I tried to change this a little bit.

Celestial realm:

"Gender? What is that?" Here, they don't think todo much about that. They can perfectly live without thinking about that until someone asks them. They can use the pronouns they want, however they want. They usually use 'he/him' pronouns because their Father, but they are free of choice. They don't have time about thinking about love. They are Bush being perfect and following Father's rules.

Human realm:

The human world in real life. There are people that support and respect, people that don't support but respect, and people that don't support nor respect. Here they think a lot about it and the people try to find themselves. A mate? Except the asexuals/aromantics, they live thinking about it.

Devildom:

They are very VERY fluid. While in the Celestial Realm they see each other as Father creation, in the Devildom they think what makes everyone so different.

Demon brothers:

Lucifer: He still has his thoughts when he has un the Celestial Realm. Doesn't care about it(the most important is the personality, isn't it?) and he is open with a relationship with any gender. Agender man(he/him) and pansexual

Mammon: For me, the gender fluid king. Nothing else to say. Gender fluid(he/she/they) and demisexual.

Leviathan: Leviathan has something that makes the whole fandom think that he is everything except a cis man. I consider him bigender and pansexual.

Satan: Only uses he/him pronouns, and if he is in the mood, they/them. And about sexuality, I still don't know. Honestly, I don't have more ideas, and this will be easier if everyone were pansexual, because, who cares about gender? Me not, but anyways, I think he will be polysexual.

Asmodeus: Definitely, uses any pronouns. And loves every gender equally. He is the Avatar of Lust, and he can't excluye anyone! Poliamorous and pansexual.

Beelzebub: He was told that he has a boy and ended with that. However, he doesn't care and he can perfectly use any pronouns with him, although by his appearance, it is quite rare that they use feminine pronouns. Gender neutral/Apagender and I'm still thinking about his sexuality.

Belphegor: Like his twin, gender neutral/apagender. Asexual/demisexual because after all that happened, he isn't open to any relationship until he is interested. He totally untrusts people.

That was all! I'm not an expert about gender nor sexualities, so I did my best. Probably, I'll do a second parte with the side characters. Probably. I need to study!

Figured I might be better served making an "About me" pinned post, since I'm not sure how many people actually bother to click through and read my actual "About" page.

Anyway, hi, I'm emiliers. A certified Adult™ (1994). Taiwanese American. Aromantic, asexual, and agender. She/any. I guess politically I'm mostly an anarchist? I'm also an SFF fan, and you can probably convince me to watch/read anything with "SFF featuring a queer character of color".

This Tumblr started as a general fandom blog for anime/manga back in... late 2009? These days, it's mostly politics and social justice stuff. While I'll post about serious topics fairly often, I make a point never to post/reblog any explicit imagery (whether that be graphic depictions of sex or violence).

Probably the most interesting thing I keep around (on Wordpress) is this manga rec list of queer characters. I update it whenever I come across something new I enjoyed.

I also occasionally translate bad Chinese webnovels during my free time, though recently I've put that on hold to follow my true passion -- translating vocal synth songs.

When I'm not either reading manga or gracing the world with silly translations, I'm probably gacha gaming, but I generally try not to talk about that hobby too often except with friends.

I don't have a "DNI" list or anything, but know that I auto-block anyone who has a legitimately harmful ideology. So, no TERFs, SWERFs, white supremacists, exclusionists, tankies, etc.
