sending love and support to cis intersex people with dysphoria <3 your intersex body is wonderful, AND you deserve to do whatever you need to feel at home in your body and mind.
you can use different pronouns, you can wear different clothing, you can put on makeup, you can go on HRT, you can get affirming procedures or prosthetics. you can do none of that and just focus on accepting and taking care of yourself. whatever would make you happiest and healthiest! because that's what matters.

Q: Lesbians who are also men/boys, what is your reason for that?
A: Multigender and/or genderfluid, transmasc nonbinary lesbian, trans man who still ids as lesbian, butch/gnc/pnc/tomboy lesbian who likes to be called man/boy, cusper (on the cusp/between being trans and cis gnc), system whose identities overlap/collective identity, multiple of these, other

cis genderqueer gnc afab culture is not being able to decide whether you're a futch or soft butch but knowing you want to overall confuse people whenever you come across them
Best of luck.

disabled butches who aren't physically strong, who need help from caretakers, who use mobility aids, wear medical braces, etc... you're wonderful butches just as you are, and don't need to prove yourself to anyone

trans women: he's a cool guy, but it sucks how f1nnster gets a ton of money and support, and it's because he's still cis and thats easier for people to respect than trans womanhood.
TME queers: wow you have gender nonconformity? don't you know gender can be anything? we should destroy gender anyway. you're the real bigot, actually.

'transmisogyny is the intersection between the axes of misogyny and transphobia, the specific oppression applied to trans people who are also women, composite of those social systems of repression directed against those two groups separately, but also possessing unique character greater than the sum of its parts' vs 'transmisogyny is a vague ideological miasma, that aren't we really *all* victims of? how are cis people and men in the intersection of transphobia and misogyny? no clue. and really aren't some white men victims of misogynoir too?'

personally? I think it's awesome that cis people want to explore their relationship to their gender. I think it's really cool that a cis person could question if they're trans, do some self reflecting, realize they are cis after all, and come out of it with a better understanding of their gender and sense of self. I think gnc and genderqueer cis people are stellar. I think xenogender and neopronoun using cis people are fantastic.
a better understanding of gender and what that means for an individual helps everyone out, and we should welcome cis people who have or want a good perspective on gender with open arms

For many queer individuals, long hair is just that baby skin you shed when you've outgrown it finally. And for many queer individuals, short hair is just that pot that you transfer out of because it's far too small.
Much queer about hair

GNC culture is questioning if you're GNC enough. Like, I'm a cis girl with hyper short hair who dresses and presents masculine like 98% of the time but sometimes I'll occasionally still like to wear a cute dress and then I'm worried that makes me less GNC
It doesn’t make you less GNC- it’s not an all or nothing kind of game. Conform sometimes or in some aspects, that doesn’t take away your entirety as a gnc person. it’s alright, i promise.

while we’re on the topic i really love the variety of gender expressions and sexualities portrayed in ofmd
barely any of the characters conform to gender norms and they’re all portrayed so differently and so positively in a way that doesn’t feel tokenistic. gender is a playground. the characters get to play with clothes and presentations and how they see themselves
djenks said ‘a lot of what we are taught about being a man is wrong’ and that really comes through - stede is allowed to spin in his frilly coat and read the crew stories, ed is allowed to wear his leathers and paint his beard onto the bride cake topper, wee john is allowed to enjoy sewing and glitter and drag, there are no punching down jokes about characters being short or fat or skinny or bald, none of these characters are ever suggested to be less of a man because of how they act - other than by characters that are clear antagonists and are condemned by the narrative as a result
and i really like that ofmd doesn't go so far out of its way to avoid stereotypes that it ends up invoking the reverse - lucius is allowed to be camp and be poly and it's so refreshing to see a gay character that is neither 1. a caricature of a promiscuous gay man nor 2. a gay man that is explicitly written to be devoutly monogamous and masc presenting to 'subvert the stereotype'
idk it's just. it's a good show brent

Are there any other cis-identifying women out there who want to get top surgery? What is your experience?
Here's mine ...
Ah yes, June, Pride month, the time every year for me to ponder if the fact that I desperately want to cut my boobs off makes me trans....
But like!! I feel like a woman!! I just feel like a woman that doesn't have boobs!
Boobs were never part of my mental map of myself, they're like this unwanted limb that doesn't belong to me??
Obviously that's some kind of dysphoria but....I feel like a woman, or at least a sort of queer, gender-nonconforming woman. I am asexual (I think), so I want to say it could be related to that, but it feels reductive and incomplete as an explanation on its own.
In fact I am so certain I am a woman because I actually identified as trans nonbinary for a year and wore more masculine clothes and went by they/them because I thought that my chest dysphoria meant that must be the case, but I "detransitioned" because it didn't feel right (I am Not A TERF and very pro-enbies everywhere, it just was not me). Tbh I am significantly more secure in my identity now than I ever was before that time.
Also it fuckin sucks because binding is *literally* the worst possible thing for me, health wise. Makes my gerd, asthma, dizziness, and anxiety worse. I still wear light compression tops or tight sports bras a lot of days but can't tolerate it always. It's miserable.
And don't even get me started on how the hell I would pay for top surgery. Fat chance my insurance would cover it when I say I'm not trans and mine aren't even that huge to begin with so the typical reasons women get breast reductions (back pain etc) don't apply.
Wondering if anyone out there feels similarly.
