eSims for Gaza is facing constant eSim shortages.

They get over a thousand requests for connection a day, but their email inbox is regularly sitting at 300-500 eSims. With the bombardment of Rafah and continual internet blackouts, the need for more eSims is particularly urgent.

Even if you have already sent an eSim or donated to an eSim donation drive, there is more you can do. The team is calling for people to campaign in their communities to help spread the word about eSims and encourage donations.

You can help by printing out posters and putting them up in local businesses, on telephone poles and notice boards, or wherever people are likely to see them.

The war in Sudan has reached its 10th month. The war has been met with a global indifference or there has been no desire to act from many world leaders.

8 million people have fled their homes and millions of Sudanese people have emergency food insecurity, with 5 million people on the brink of famine. even the neighbouring country Chad has had to declare a food insecurity emergency due to the mass amount of Sudanese people that have fled to Chad. (By no fault of their own of course)

Faced with a media blackout which is over a week at this point we need to continue to amplify the voices and plight of the Sudanese people.

I will try to make a more detailed post in a bit but the organization Anera has announced they have resumed aid delivery to north Gaza. Please consider donating to them, they have worked on the ground in Gaza for decades and they provide emergency aid as well as have many wonderful long-term programs.

every single time israel fires on people picking up food or humanitarian aid it truly cuts me to the core. obviously it's equally horrible to fire on civilians escaping the invasion or to bomb hospitals or refugee camps or people just living in their own homes. but there's something so brutal about hitting people right when they have gathered for life-saving aid. by firing on them there the IOF have set up an impossible dilemma where starving people have to choose between death by bullet or death by hunger. they have left no room for palestinians to choose life. i do not know how my government or any other government can just sit by and watch while innocent people continue to be gunned down for the crime of existing in israel's eyeline.

"as you all know, the environment in florida has become incredibly hostile and has been laying some of the groundwork for a lot of the bullshit that's now happening across the country. as an interracial, trans, disabled and lesbian couple, we've been living in fear of all newest laws being passed and the culture in florida. aside from the political state of florida, our apartment has been nearly uninhabitable for months as we have been dealing with mold, termites and an unresponsive landlord who does not take our concerns seriously. it's not safe for us to be here, physically and mentally, and it's not going to get better any time soon.

the political environment as well as our personal environment has also taken a toll on our mental healths, specifically salem, who is currently trying to recover from autistic burnout and ptsd and struggles severely with ocd. we need to go somewhere that has protections for transgender individuals, resources for disabled individuals and is overall more accepting to a couple like us."

More than 100 Palestinians have been killed and some 700 others wounded after Israeli troops opened fire on hundreds waiting for food aid southwest of Gaza City, health officials say, as the besieged enclave faces an unprecedented hunger crisis. The Gaza Ministry of Health said on Thursday that at least 104 people were killed and more than 750 wounded, with the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemning what it said was a cold-blooded “massacre”. Transfem in need one week away from bottom surgery

Hey y'all, I just wanted to remake and ask for some help as I'm down to the wire now. I'm finally getting bottom surgery after a few years of work in between other financial struggles, and could use some help to make sure I get through this okay.

Since this means I have no choice but to not work for a few months, and have no family, I'm going to be extremely tight on what savings I do have just to afford bills and rent. Any possible help to guarantee I can also get meals during that time would mean the world to me.
