finally got off the waitlist for the last class i wanted!! i'll be taking 22 units this term which is the absolute maximum my university allows. tbh i wish they'd let me take more. but i'm soo excited, my classes are all super fun & interesting!!

So here is what just happened…yesterday I have done the last subject of the curriculum which means that I am free to defend my thesis in about a month from now and officially become an economist. This is so crazy and unbelievable… I didn’t even have the chance to really appreciate it or be happy about it because I am just sooo exhausted. But thinking about how the last almost 3 years came down to this moment; all the hard work, anxiety, so many hard and dark moments and some beautiful ones of course… it’s just so incredible that it’s finally over. Well, almost.. fingers crossed for my last “exam” in late June/early July 🤞

good evening, friends!

another late-night study--this time with a cup of earl grey and lavender tea and vanilla ice cream. it was actually a really nice way to end a full day at work.

today i did a full forecasting simulation. i had to predict the sales of a small gasoline company based on the historical data given and current events that would affect the price. i was worried it would be much more difficult, but the method with the smallest error ended up being the naive approach, so it was pretty easy. also, if you don't know what any of that means, i will be posting a forecasting break-down tonight as well.

and that's really it. i might attempt some french before bed, but no promises.

February 28, 2023 | MBA - Evening Class

It’s a chilly evening, and despite this building being mostly windows, it’s surprisingly warm. The fireplaces are just for show, they don’t actually emit heat, but I like to pretend that they are warming my fingers.

I even caught the pianist playing again this evening as I was leaving the Business building. It’s always so beautiful, I wished I could have stayed longer to listen.

Business Studies HSC - Review

Another day, another review... it's an interesting one.

Okay, so this paper was just disgusting in my opinion. WHY WERE THERE SO MANY FINANCE QUESTIONS? NESA, Business isn't all about Finance. There's also Marketing, Operations and HR, but y'all decided to be goofy and put Finance questions.

That short answer was disgusting. I will SUE you NESA for that short answer.

Multiple Choice was meh. Easier than other years, but not the greatest.

LOVED THE REPORT AND ESSAY QUESTION OMG. THANK YOU, NESA, FOR THOSE WONDERFUL QUESTIONS. I still waffled through it, but thank you bestie.

Anyways, I'm gonna spend the rest of the day watching Chucky and then revising for SOR 1... listen, I go to a catholic school, okay? IT WAS MANDATORY.

i have been abandoned (sent to school) by those who i held closest to me (my friends who dont take business aka all of them) and left as a sacrafice to the war (i have a business test in ten minutes) i dont know if ill survive (i have never dropped below a higher merit in this class)

Media exam done today and that is that course officially over!! What??

It's a crazy feeling studying something for years for it to just be over in an afternoon but boy am I relieved. I felt very prepared for the paper and I found the exam was pretty good even though the questions weren't what I was expecting. But I won't really know how I did until August now.

Here were some of my mad last minute revision notes from today. I did a few easy questions whilst chilling in the garden. It's way to hot right now for exams.

Hope anyone else going through exam reason right now is having the best of luck!

hello, friends! i'm back.

it's been a rough week, not gonna lie. i worked a lot this week, studied in unconvential places such as an empty museum and my living room floor, and today i took my final lsat. i'm so happy to be done. i don't even care if i get a phenomenal score or a fucking terrible one, i just don't want to do it again. things should be calming down a bit from here on out. i have one more week of class and then the spring semester starts. i also quit my internship with the student government because it was not what i was looking for and i really didn't like the way people treated each other within the organization. i just want to relax during my last semester and hang out with my friends before i leave them in the summer.
