Calling all the business students! (and everyone else interested hihihi ^^)

Remember me as the IB student who was ranting here all the time? Well hi pals, I'm in uni now, and I hope all of you got into your desired universities/courses! 🫶

I've recently become a global ambassador for the Global CBS (Copenhagen Business School) Case Competition, and I'd love to share all the information to you guys on here as well!

As someone who has used this site to be a part of the community connected to studying and academics for a long time, I see this as telling you guys a big big thank you for supporting me on the academic journey so far; I want to give you an experience that is amazing for networking and even a stepping stone into international connections. 💙

Friendly reminder that the argument "how would country trades good without Insert some intangible form of currency" is dumb? Literally my own business textbook points out that inter-continental trade often uses bartering of truly tangible goods as opposed to a cash asset already lol. Also by definition most would classify cash as tangible as it's not an idea/thought, but it's not tangible to me so.

Was thinking about eleven year old Fawn Spots Harry and made myself laugh because he would be so angry that technology doesn’t work at Hogwarts.

Full on “What do you mean Olympus has cell service and the middle of Scotland doesn’t?! It’s not even the same plane of fucking existence and calls aren’t even long distance!” Little man has not been more than a phone call away from his family since he was adopted and he is not coping well, but beyond that the lack of online databases, easy way to compile notes and write the eight million essays they’re assigned, and actual entertainment that isn’t ’dangerous flying dodgeball’ (which he does love tbh but still not everyone does) would drive him up the wall. Fuck the lack of things like highlighters and binders would piss him off.

He would show up with a spiral notebook and a mechanical pencil and a pureblood child would pass out from shock. He writes his family constantly begging for any and all stationary they can send. He uses breaks to type up last term’s notes and introduces the first final study guide in Times New Roman into Hogwarts and makes a killing off of selling them. The older pureblood students beg on bended knee for help making their own and the muggleborns realize oh shit they can corner the market per year and subject. Harry will drag Hogwarts into the modern age if he has to do so kicking and screaming.

I substituted for the pitcher workshop tonight and afterwards got called on my anxious comments by my colleague I hadn’t realized I was doing bc i hadn’t taught that form yet lol. I did bring a hand built pitcher I made in 2016 as an extra example and it was cool to see the difference between now and then!
