SLIMMER FACE/JAW (BOTOX)

Pre-wedding preparation! I believe all ladies before their wedding; gets vainer than usual and I’m one of the them that counts on aesthetic treatments to make me prettier~
It’s only my second time doing Square Jaw Reduction via Botox ( Dysport® (botulinumtoxinA) a prescription injection used to address my square jaw )
For those whom aren’t familiar with Botox, tends to think that botox is only meant to reduce "Crow's-Feet “ or some other facial wrinkles. Truth is, you can use it to reduce your jaw size.
How? Imagine your jaw muscles, you’ve been eating and chewing for the past decades, how “big” the muscles grow over these years?
One way to feel your jaw muscles is to put your fingers on the sides of your jaw and clench. You should feel the muscles tensing up or moving then. Especially those whom have tendency to grind their teeth during sleep should have more prominent jaw muscles. The theory is exactly like how body builder's muscles become bigger and bulkier over time.
Why botox can reduce our jaw size?
Botox relaxes the muscles at the area, stopped it from "exercising" and naturally when muscles stop moving as much, it loses the muscles/mass over time. Some people takes as fast as 3 weeks to see result, for me it takes about 1 - 2 months to see the significant difference. (pretty average time needed)
I approached Dr Dylan from Celevenus Aesthetic Clinic during July 2019 and told him I needed a “slimmer face/V-shape” face and that’s when he advise on using Dysport® (botulinumtoxinA) to help me achieve the results.

HIKO Nose Threadlift VS Nose Fillers
@ Celevenus Aesthetic Clinic
If you have been paying attention to my posts, you’d have known I’ve done nose fillers more than a year ago. So why did I opt for HIKO Nose threadlift this time round?
On 26 Nov 2018, I visited Celevenus Aesthetic Clinic for a consultation session with Dr Dylan. I’m one of the most paranoid and lowest pain tolerance among my girlfriends, so naturally I bombarded Dr Dylan with questions and seek for his advises on my aesthetic needs.
Because I’ve done nose fillers before, naturally it’d be my first option to do it again. I told Dr Dylan my concern where I felt that it didn’t last as long as I expected and the bridge went down slightly faster than the nose tip for my case. Hence, he recommended HIKO nose threadlift which is known to last a year or more! So after doing a little research I decided to go for that treatment!
SO HERE IT GOES! 12 DEC 2018 was the date for my HIKO nose threadlift.
Super super super scared of needles, especially so close to my eyesight. Well, 痛苦会过去，美丽会留下 ( the pain will be over, but the beauty will stay). K la not that my followers give a damn about my nose “beauty” because I can edit it as nice in photos, I like it in reality can liao!!
I always thought numbing cream is just a gimmick,then again i’m have zero pain tolerance, better do it! Of course right after I’ve gotten an anesthesia injection.
Here it goes! I’m not too sure if I got it right because I was struggling with the pain for first “poke” and I can feel that foreign object wrigglin up my nose omg. Pain level for me (7/10) - but don’t forget I have the lowest threshold for pain! In comparison to fillers, fillers is 4/10?
So anyway, he continue to add the thread afterwards, I swear I don’t feel a single thing after the second insertion and onward. I think dozens of thread has been inserted, can’t wait to see the results!
Can you see the thread a.k.a my nose bridge in the above photo?! Super define ‘cause it’s still not done yet. So he added tiny bit of fillers to make it look natural and perfect. I guess when you mix threadlift and fillers, bruises will be more significant than usual. (continue to read to find out later)
OK. Done. I think it took about 15mins - 20mins? Natural and sharp? I’m not blessed with a sharp and defined nose bridge like all of you. This is much better than what I naturally had. Let me show you the immediate difference:
You can see the height immediately and your nose naturally got “narrowed” too, if you take a close look at the side profile my nose isn’t as upturned as before!
So I guess I wasn’t so lucky with the bruise process, my boyfriend was doting me the next few days because I really look super pityful haha. *puppy eyes*
My nose was healing perfectly fine but just don’t know why that epic bruise, I was extremely worried that I approached the nurses multiple time and even went for quick consultation with doctor. So girls, apparently there are people whom gotten even more jialat bruise than this. It’s alright, and just get the bruise medication from doctor and do some light massage from third day onwards.
So when you’re choosing between fillers and HIKO threadlift, take a look at the comparison chart I’ve created. Unable to advise on a price because sometimes one clinic fees can go much higher than the others because of doctor’s experience.

Results are definitely amazing, my front profile isn’t that obvious but my side profile is awesome now!
HIKO nose threadlift not only straightens and lifts up my nose bridge, but it also gives my nose the sculpted look! as compared to fillers there’s no risk like – fillers moved and caused a broaden nose bridge like “Avatar”.
Even though it’s a foreign object, but it dissolve in long run, fibroblasts are stimulated to produce new collage created resulting in tighter skin around the nose which enhances our nose bridge and looking much contoured!

PIGMENTATION REMOVAL - One Face Skin & Aesthetics Clinic
If you follow me on instagram (id: @lq.cat ) you would have known that we actually visited One Face Skin & Aesthetics Clinic for about 1 - 2 months ago.
I was actually pretty annoyed by the number of “moles” that my boyfriend had, knowing clearly that these are actually pigmentation bumps I was looking out for some facial product to lessen or cure it. But of course, that doesn’t work. Pigmentation don’t only occur on old people, but it can actually be seen on young aldults due to their genes or daily exposure to sunlight.
TAKE A LOOK AT THE SUPER AMAZING RESULTS! No scar, no pigmentation bumps at all! (Sorry for the lighting and angle difference but I can promise you that there is no photo editing done to his skin at all!)
In case the photos aren’t clear enough here’s a close-up version:
It only took us 3 visits to get this effect over, the downtime was actually less than one week. We went for the consultation, thereafter we used OneFace facial products like the Vitamin C, Moisturizer and Sunblock to prepare Lance’s skin for his treatment. It was a daily commitment of applying these products for 3 weeks before the actual treatment of removing the pigmentation bump.
Comfortable and relaxing facial wash before applying numb cream for the pigmentation removal.
You may want to watch a short clip below on how the removal is actually done. Nevertheless, the numb cream was actually applied on for about 40 minutes before the laser treatment. We are totally amazed about how instant the removal was.

Here’s an overview image of the entire process:

Here’s a quick summary of the entire downtime and healing period.
Day 1 - Day 2: New wound from the laser treatment, stay indoor and avoid sunlight.
Day 3 - Day 4: Scabs are form and some of the smaller scabs actually dropped of naturally. Lance went to work as usual and tried his best to avoid direct sunlight.
Day 5 - Day 7: The bumps and scabs are almost all gone, skincare routine continues to kick in. (Especially sunblock)
Overall, it’s a very straightforward and simple treatment. I’d personally emphasis on the pre and post skincare routine, it is important to prepare your skin for the treatment to aid the healing process later on.
At the end of the pigmentation removal, we tried the Skin Brightening Laser Treatment which instantly made his skin looks much radiant and dewy! Lance mentioned that he felt a tiny tingling and prickly sensation during the treatment, but the results were immediate. You can see how the process went at the video below:

So here’s my handsome boyfriend turning 29 and me turning 25, it seems like his skin is better than mine after his treatment. Once again, there is no photo editing to his skin at all! Look at his superb complexion now :p

Got to stay cool even with all the heavy textbooks from my course, Gaston Luga Praper Black Backpack totally fits the bill! 😎
I’m impressed by the quality of the backpack, the material they used made it seems really durable (leather, cotton etc.) . Luxurious Weekday Afternoon
Nothing can be more luxurious than sipping tea away on a Friday afternoon.
Royal apple tea is a totally must try! The usual fruit tea tends to leave sour/dry aftertaste but this one is really to my liking, somehow with some "roasted" fragrance.🍵
Looking at my tea set pretty much tells you I'm a tea lover haha
