Day 2 of 100 Days of University - 27/09/2023

What a short day! Started at 9 and finished at 11:30.

We went to the Lecture Theatre to do a workshop, and I learned how to do a moodboard.

We had to choose between three words: “Hopecore”, “Corecore”, or “Doomcore.”; my group decided on “Hopecore”. After, we had to come up with three keywords and start researching and building our moodboard.

It wasn't very clear at first, but then everything was fine.

Day 1 of 100 Days of University - 26/09/2023

I finally started my journey to study Fashion Journalism and Content Creation at the University of the Arts London.

For the first two hours, they gave us an introduction about the course and the university in general, and for the last two hours, we did a lecture on Teeline.

I also went to lunch with three people from my course.

002/100 Days Of Productivity - 26092023

I’ve been at uni from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm. I was feeling exhausted and sleepy, but I went to my first Street Dance class at 7 pm, and I’ve never sweat so much in my life. It was also funny and brought me so much joy.

apps that helped me study!

I find it quite hard to get off my phone and leave all my distractions to study , so here are some apps that helped!

yeolpumta (ypt) - this app helped me a lot to track how long i study for . when you start a timer for studying it actually locks all the apps on your phone (except safari, imessage and phone) so you can't actually get distracted without stopping the timer first. it makes you stop and think before using your phone and forces you to study! i also like to join communities as seeing how long others studied for motivates me haha

studytogether (website) - i like to have it open on my laptop and join a study room with my camera on so that i know people can see me and i am forced to study so people don't think of me as lazy, and seeing so many others studying with you in real time is so motivation too! (although there are some creeps that will message sometimes, just report them!)

todomate - i quite like this app for keeping track of my todos! you can add friends on there and it's actually such a cute app! it's a bit hard to use at first but once you get the hand of it it's really nice :)

todewy - i use both to do apps haha but i like this one because it is easier to use and having to upload photo evidence of the work motivates me to do my work to the highest quality!

this is what has been helping me so far and i hope it helps you too! i will soon do a post on what i do before i study and during and after to help me focus more!

got 11 hours of sleep and then had a study date with a close friend!! we've been friends since our undergrad days in nyc and constantly studied together. now we're still studying together in our second city :') city academia, as i call it, at its finest🌆

Life threw a few curveballs my way, and I hit pause on my 100 Days of Productivity Challenge. But guess what? I'm BACK and more determined than ever! ੈ♡˳

While I was away, some exciting things happened:

They accepted my SFE request

I officially enrolled in Uni

Got my student ID Card

Met a lovely course-mate

Scored the only book I need for now

Went to the Big Welcome and joined a few societies and the Dance Club

Also, big thanks to everyone who followed me this past month!

Starting tomorrow, I will retake the challenge and share more of my Uni journey with you guys! So excited!
