Hi! Is it okay if I make a request? I just thought about MC being an amazing dancer and they want to have one thing that others can't but they can. (Since being magicless is a pressure on them) so they find a job as a pool dancer to earn money and feel confident again. How would Riddle Leona, Vil, Rook Malleus, react to it? (MC was doing it secretly)
[S/o being a great dancer]
[RIDDLE,LEONA,VIL,ROOK,MALLEUS]
I'm keeping it SFW by the way!! Even though I'm not really sure of what a pool dancer is
Riddle:
Tumblr media
-I don't think he even expected you to be a great dancer since you were always having to clean up after his freshmen's troubles.
-But one day he decided to pay a visit to Ramshackle to look for Ace and Deuce.
-Instead he found something better.
-You left the door open since Grim wasn't home yet and the freshmen were doing who knows what.
-Riddle just stood their admiring your dance moves and was impressed with how you moved your arms and legs.
-Plus, he said how happy dancing made you. The only way you found out he was there was by twirling around.
-Of course, you felt embarrassed and tried to run but he stopped you and started complimenting you and tried to build up your confidence.
-You of course told him the troubles you had(how you wanted to have something that a magical being doesn't have).
-He then tells you that you have a talent for dancing that many people didn't really have and recommended a few jobs to you to keep yourself busy with.
-You chose the pool dancer and loved the job and he will regularly ask you if you have any new dance moves.
-You two are now great friends much to Ace's sorrow.
Leona:
Tumblr media
-He was probably looking for a quiet place since the science club was at the botanical garden and people were being noisybin his dorm.
-He was only looking for a quiet place to sleep until he remembered that Ramshackle would be empty and plus it would only be you, who mostly isn't THAT annoying.
-What he saw woke him up when he entered.
-You were dancing your heart out and he decided to reveal his presence when you finished by a snicker.
-You, of course felt embarrassed especially since he chuckled at the whole ordeal.
-He then reassured you that he wasn't laughing at you but at the fact you hid it.
-He then recommended you to start pool dancing since there are some people in his family who did it for their passion of dancing.
-You were so grateful for it since it proved very beneficial for you.
-He is the only on here who doesnt actually come visit you when you work though but he be smug about how he was right about having you pool dance.
Vil:
Tumblr media
-He probably was only looking for Epel since Epel did like to run away from him.
-But your door was open so he decided to just check on you since you were so helpful in the SDC.
-Little did he know, the sight he will lay his eyes on would shock him.
-There you were dancing like a pro.
-He certainly didn't expect this from you and if you were so great at dancing, why didnt you just join them.
-He did make his presence known immediately to save you from crying of embarrassment.
-He was a model, he sees first time dancer a lot and he knows how scary it gets to feel like you are being watched.
-He understood that you didnt want to become a celebrity so he did recommend you ways to start small and you chose to be a Pool dancer.
-Anyways, he is please to know that you enjoy it.
Rook:
Tumblr media
-This guy is such a stalker 😭😭.
-Ever since you visit Pomefiore, he was super interested in you.
-Mostly because he always thought that you were hiding something and he just wanted to know what it was.
-He knew pretty much everyone's secret except yours since he doesn't really visit Ramshackle.
-Then one day, he managed to sneak in and saw you dancing whilst coming in.
-You weren't really afraid of being seen since you knew that no one would be here but you were so wrong.
-Once you finished an awesome display, he showed no shame and started to applaud you.
-"Trés Bièn! You are such an amazing dancer!"
-As much as liked to see you getting flustered, he just told you to not be shy about it since you had a talent that not many people could do.
-Plus he thought it was good enough for the world so he offered a job at pool dancing.
-You realised that this job was actually good for since you started to become a lot more confident and Rook sometimes comes to see your shows.
Malleus:
Tumblr media
-He was probably doing on of his famous walks around Ramshackle.
-Then he saw you dancing whilst cleaning in Ramshackle through a big window.
-It didn't really take you long to realise he was there since he was tall and hard not to notice.
-He just teleported inside and told you that he never thought that you were a great dancer and that you should make use of it.
-You of course was getting shy from all the compliments that he was making as he kept telling yoy that it definitely made you seem happier.
-This of course led him to giving an idea of getting a job about dancing.
-I don't think Malleus understands much about embarrassment since this guy is stoic as hell but in the end, he managed to convince you.
-You could really say you hated the job since many people loved your dancing and he would sometimes drop by to visit and watch.

The problems with the white fang and why they aren’t Adam
So a lot of fan’s fans of the show believe Adam’s portrayal was generally well done even tho the rest of the Faunus arc wasn’t, and I tend to agree
But nobody really explains WHY the Faunus arc is bad beyond that? So I’m going to explain my issues with other characters and their stories relevant to that arc
First off, ilia amitola
A lot of fans point out that ilia is the character others wanted Adam to be, and they’re mostly right
The issue is not Ilia as a character, it’s her story arc,
Ilia rightfully points out his humans at large ignore the Faunus who die pointlessly for their benifit and only get upset when the Faunus try to fight back, her parents where killed because of the SDCs racist policies and she was mocked for it by her schoolmates
The old methods didn’t seem to be making progress and she felt hopeless, so she ended up siding with Adam because she “didn’t know what to do”
But here’s the thing, the beladonnas haven’t shown her a better way? What alternatives have they provided her exactly? Ghira’s non violent methods that we are expressly told didn’t fucking work? She’s in a better place then she was under Adam but that’s a pretty low fucking bar, she’s not killing innocent people but she’s not making any progress towards stopping what happened to her parents from happening again.
Meanwhile the dust company that killed her parents and the society that mocked her for it are now GONE, and they’re gone because of Salem
Besides Robyn, Salem is the only one shown meaningfully challenging the status quo.
So with Salem being the only one to successfully end the SDCs reign of terror, what conclusion are we supposed to draw here?
And then there’s ghira.
I think we all generally agree ghira was in the wrong for his actions in the Adam trailer, where he got mad Adam getting violent with a lynch mob because it makes them “look bad”, honestly if he was upset because he believed Adam went overboard that would be one thing but his exact words where “this is why they think they can-“ he was upset because it made them “look bad” to the lynch mob that was trying to kill them I guess?
But does the show know he was in the wrong?
He gets to be leader of the white fang! Blake who is the “face of the white fang arc” never questions him! Yeah she left him initially because she disagreed with his methods, but this is treated as a result of Adam’s manipulation and she looks back on her time with the violent white fang purely negatively when she describes it in volume 2. She makes no distinction between sienna’s white fang and Adam’s, even after sienna is introduced.
So the show seems to suggest that Blake was in the wrong for questioning him? That he was always right and Blake and ilia made the wrong choice? Even if said choice is presented as sympathetic and understandable. And ghira’s way is proven “right” when saving haven from the “bad minority” apparently immediately makes mistral so noticeably more accepting of Faunus that even the jaded ilia notices, which sends the hopefully unintentional message of “if we behave and stop the bad minority for them then the humans will reward our good behavior with better treatment”
Quite frankly ghirah’s actions in the Adam trailer seem similar to RHODES in cinders backstory, both telling someone that using violence against your oppressors makes you the villain,
But we’re supposed to view Rhodes as the villain, the man who cared more about upholding the status quo then protecting a tortured child
What are we supposed to think of ghira?
And here’s the thing, crwby gave at least shown that respectability politics is WRONG in other stories, we paint rhodes in the wrong and show Robyn breaking the law and fighting the atlas military as a good thing, we see marrow “Proving himself” as an ace op at best makes atlas view him as “one of the good ones”
And yet the narrative still never questions ghira, which means they know they fucked up yet don’t want to or are unable to fix it, or they think it’s only ok to use violence if you’re not a racial minority,
And people say “ghira is just holding the fort until salem is beaten and Blake can step into the leadership role ok then. How has Blake shown to be any different then ghira in how she fights for civil rights?

RWBY AU where Whitely imprints on another character since they showed an ounce of love and care for this small child with an asshole father and alcoholic mom.
Like imagine: Whitley running away from home directly after volume 3 because his father is gone, his mom probably wont notice until Jacques and Weiss get back (if at all) and Klein definitely wants these kids out of here asap and its the perfect chance.
He means to get on the first boat to mistral, Winter and him have a strained relationship but she would help him (he hopes anyway, he doesn't have any other options). But he accidentally got on one to menagerie and he realizes this is a whole island of people hiding from Jacques Schnee, the SDC, and Atlas. Where better to hide?
Whitley has been robbed 3 times and he realizes he has made a massive mistake. Somehow no one recognizes that he's a Schnee but the first time he was robbed they took all his money and valuables so now he can't even leave. He tried to stowaway on a boat to Mistral but they caught him and now he can't even walk past the docks without glares from the workers.
Kali Belladonna finds this small human child desperately attempting, and failing, to barter with a food stall to trade his expensive Atlesian jacket for a meal, takes pity and pays for the food herself. She asks him where his parents are and he responds very concerningly, and she does have this big house, with spare beds...
Ghira loves his wife, he really does. Shes often right about things and she has a heart so big for everyone she meets. But she could at least ask before offering to let a random human child stay with them. He tries to express his concerns to her but the moment he expresses doubt over if this is really a good idea the boy gets this look of pure pain and fear on his face he can't ignore. He immediately shuts up and after a moment tells the boy he's free to stay as long as he likes.
Blake wasn't really expecting any major surprises from her parents. As it turns out she was wrong not to because when she first stepped foot in the house and sees the brother Weiss mentioned once she can't help but ask why Whitley Schnee is here of all places.
Whitley freezes because hes a Schnee on menagerie and everyone just found out and he has to go he has to ru- and Kali just hugs him he looks at her and she has the same level of love and care on her face as always, maybe just a little bit more (a look he can't remember seeing on either of his parents) and he just starts crying and hugging back.

Blake says, "Saving Haven had a huge impact on how Faunus are seen in Mistral." So wait a minute. By Adam attacking Haven and trying to kidnap Blake, that retroactively catalysed a supposedly massive socio-political movement in one of the worst Kingdoms for Faunus rights? This is what happens when your villain is entirely active but your main female character is solely reactive by waiting around in her house for the plot to begin. Sure, Blake deradicalises Ilia but she's immediately written off in V6 despite travelling to racism-land.
& not only that but we see evidence of this, absolutely fucking nowhere. there’s no ripple effect to the other kingdoms, there’s nothing to contrast it to in the first place either because the extent of showing “how bad” the racism was in mistral was one, barely focused on “no faunus sign.” that is the extent of what we got & it’s pathetic.
even more so considering we then got to the faunus slavery capital of the world in atlas & it basically had weiss limp wristedly apologising to blake for something that wasn’t her fault & then the main propogator of that slavery in current day is killed off without even a second thought. no mention of the faunus ex slave who’s brand we literally saw two volumes ago, no call out of robyn humansplaining racism to the faunus marrow. no explanation for why the happy huntresses seem to have a faunus based slogan of “bare your teeth” while being majority human.
blake does nothing for the faunus in atlas. she’s not obligated to but this is the character who was once again confronted with the fact that her ex boyfriend was branded by faunus slave owners & then literally came to the racism capital of the world run by the family she dragged by the ears in volume 1!
does this blake have anything to say about jacques, the racist, attempting to consolidate more power & making conditions even worse for faunus? no! does either she or weiss, who should actually put some action behind her weak ass apology, dare to do anything about the sdc which is built of vacuoan & faunus blood? no! weiss goes to the movies & blake literally goes to a party.
at this point, this is more of the same old with crwby. they tell us one thing & then either don’t show us it, or show us something completely different. we don’t know if things have genuinely begun to change in mistral because we’ve now moved onto the racism capital of the world & our heroes are supposedly doing nothing for the faunus there, including our main character who was this emboldened, passionate, steadfast activist for her people. now she’s been reduced to nothing more than a hand warmer while other faunus like marrow or ilia are either swept over or literally written off into the failed black panther movement 2.0 that definitely won’t fail this time. oh no. ignore the fact they’ve changed literally nothing from the last time ghira decided to run for wet blanket.

anyway i’m caught up and have had a few hours to digest now and let me just say: i think the widespread interpretation that “negative weiss” Isn’t Weiss / that weiss herself is effectively unconscious and absent during the lotus dream does a real disservice to the story and isn’t, i don’t think, particularly well-supported by the text itself. (shion’s explanation to ruby during the first venture into the dream certainly didn’t sound as if they were saying dream weiss was a wholly separate entity, or a ‘character’ in the dream; ‘lies and truth are but small parts of a dream’ etc. to me that says this is weiss in an altered state of consciousness because the nightmare has distorted her perception of reality, but fundamentally still the real weiss.)
i think maybe where people trip on that concept is the equally widespread interpretation that this is a story about how #hard it is for weiss to let go of her bigotry and consequently some resistance to accepting dream weiss as the real weiss, because on its face the virulently bigoted things dream weiss says of the faunus would seem to spit in the face of real weiss’s character development prior. but a) you can’t un-brainwash yourself of bigotry overnight no matter how much critical thinking you do, and b) there is the critical context of the monstrous grimm fang playing a role in the nightmare that keeps weiss alive, which comes to fruition ultimately as weiss having hidden one of the actual keys to her heart inside the headquarters of the white fang, in a library full of blake’s books and marked by a symbol of the white fang as it was when it lived up to blake’s ideals.
what this adds up to is: before the nightmare struck, weiss did some serious soul-searching, saw her own bigotry plainly for what it was, and decided to stop being bigoted. she couldn’t just cut away the fear and disdain she felt immediately—that’s not how brains work—but she could, and did, recognize that those feelings were irrational and cruel and choose to act better right now. then the nightmare struck and sucked her into a lotus dream fabricated from exaggerated versions of every expectation weiss felt as the heir to the SDC—including the bigotry that came with that legacy—and her own perfectionism, anxiety, and determination to fulfill those expectations trapped her inside it so thoroughly that she was willing to fight viciously to maintain it…
…except for the piece weiss had already decided was garbage she didn’t want to believe in any more. when blake and yang discovered the white gang headquarters, blake remarks that this must be where weiss put everything she didn’t want to think about but couldn’t get rid of, and i think that’s exactly right in two different ways at once. it’s the bigotry weiss doesn’t want to possess anymore—and it’s also where she hid blake, the girl in black who haunts the lotus dream and guards the key that saved weiss in the end. she uno reversed the nightmare and twisted its twisting of her bigoted feelings into her own savior because she had already made up her mind to get rid of those bigoted feelings.
and i think that, rather like blake choosing to accept the infection, that’s something weiss did deliberately before the nightmare finished corrupting her. it’s why she never lifts a finger to go defend that train, why she’s so rattled when the train makes it through, why she only lets it into the city after hearing blake call out to her, and why even under the nightmare’s influence she engages emotionally with corrupted blake’s grievances and answers them with i don’t hate you, i don’t hate the faunus—like! adam is everything weiss was taught that the faunus are, and blake’s nightmare twisted her into his mirror image, and yet even under the nightmare’s influence weiss realized within a matter of minutes that something was very wrong with blake and her instinctive reaction was to want to help her! her own nightmare warped that into “i’ll open your eyes before i banish you forever” hkdhch but the point is, in this altered state of conscious with a grimm devouring her soul and almost eighteen years of being primed to take corrupted blake at face value as blake’s ‘true nature’ weiss STILL almost immediately went that’s not you, the blake i know is so much better than that.
because she made a promise to trust blake completely, without demanding any explanations or pleas or coddling or anything from blake in return, and even the nightmare can’t make her break that promise, anymore than blake’s could make her hurt yang.
victims of the nightmare aren’t unconscious inside the lotus dreams, and their corrupted selves aren’t characters—if they were just characters, these lines they can’t cross wouldn’t exist, i don’t think. the nightmare can’t force them to do things they fundamentally WILL NOT do. all it can do is shove them into a dreamlike scenario that dredges up their deepest vulnerabilities in a manner that they’ll feel the need to obsessively reinforce. (which is probably why it got such a hold on weiss vs jaune or blake or ruby, perfectionism is a hell of a self-made prison even without a parasitic monster dumping gas on the fire)
[yes, weiss was disoriented and confused when she ‘woke up’ after the nightmare was killed, but that doesn’t mean the real weiss was unconscious—just experiencing the abrupt ending of an altered state of consciousness that felt totally normal while she was in it. anyone would be like wtf am i wearing in her situation.]

Uh unsure how many characters you’re willing to write for but can I have the SDC crew reacting to seeing their crush’s sketchbook filled with drawings and silly comics of them? On the case you do have a limit on how many, then I’m fine with either Polnareff, Kakoyin, Jotaro or Avdol (who can pick whoever if you want to!) Hope you’re having a lovely day!💕💕
This is such a cute idea anon, hope you like it. Also I don't really have a character limit, I wanted to do all of the crusaders but then I got tired and it already took me such a long time to finish it and ahhh. Sorry for all the grammatical errors, English is not my first language and it's already so late when I'm finishing it and it's just bleh. I hope you like it anyways, sending much love to you anon! ♥️
Stardust Crusaders finding their crushes' sketchbook
Jotaro Kujo
He notices that you've been spending most of your free time drawing in that sketchbook of yours. Truth be told, it bothers him a lot. Jotaro has had a big fat crush on you for a while now, and he secretly longs for your company. He can't admit that tho, he has a hard ass bad boy reputation to maintain after all. What would people say if the saw him all flustered for a girl? The fact that you would rather sit by yourself and draw than be around him and the others bugs him. So one day, when you're busy with something else, he takes your beloved sketchbook and decides to see what's in there. He knows he's being creepy, but he couldn't care less. Just trying to get to know you better, without actually talking to you. Exactly.
He's very flustered but would rather die than admit it. Has read through all of it, admiring every single little drawing. After he's done, he'll just put it back where he found it, it the exact same place just so you don't notice someone has been messing with it. You probably have no idea he had seen your sketchbook at first, but you surely notice the blush dusting his cheeks whenever he speaks to you from that day on. Probably avoids you for a little while because he's so flustered.
The rest of the crew also notices something is off, Jotaro is always lost in thoughts and smokes more frequently. He can't keep himself from thinking about those cute drawings of yours, reading through your comics was a true delight. It fills him with glee to know that HE, among all of the crusaders, is the one who's the main character in your stories. It makes him giddy on the inside.
His secret eventually comes to light one night, he accidentally admits to having read through your comics while a late night talk between the whole group. While you were talking, Kakyoin had brought up the topic of your sketchbook. Now it's your turn to be embarassed, blushing crimson while trying to get as much information out of him as possible. How much did he see? Did he read through ALL OF THEM?
The rest of the crusaders are shocked at first, but quickly they start to laugh at the scene. Jotaro is reluctant to give any information, but he eventually tells you that yes, indeed, he's seen EVERYTHING. However, doesn't admit what the content of the sketchbook really is. Despite everything, he would never embarass you like that.
After everyone goes to sleep, you catch Jotaro before he has a chance to fall asleep, lying on his sleeping bag while looking at the night sky. You want to apologize, say anything, just to talk to him, but you're unable to find right words. He just sighs.
"Yare yare daze, there's no need to be embarassed [Y/N], I'm not mad"
Your eyes light up at his words. You want to say something, anything, thank him, but before you get a chance to do so, Jotaro's deep voice cuts you off.
"To be honest, I think your drawings are amazing. I really liked them" you notice his face is slightly tinted red from underneath his cap "But if you wanted me to model for you, you could've just said so"
With that, he rolls over and away from you. Completely baboozled, you roll over as well and try to sleep, or at least pretend to be asleep. Honestly, neither of you had slept much that night.
Kakyoin Noriaki
Kakyoin had a thing for you since you joined the crusaders, and your sketchbook is probably the very first thing he had noticed about you. He's always been interested in art, his parents had signed him up to numerous art courses and whatnot through his life. He's always loved drawing and painting, using it as an escape from his daily problems, and seeing that you two might have something in common makes him incredibly happy, especially since he has feelings for you.
He'll try to approach you about your sketchbook very subtely, afraid that he might scare you away by being too pushy. Of course you get extremely flustered everytime he brings it up, but it doesn't discourage him. Kakyoin respects your boundaries and understands that you might not be ready to show him your drawings yet. Despite that, he's always willing to share his knowledge with you. He'll give you advices about proper shading while you two are waiting in the hotel lobby for the rest of the group to finish up picking rooms. During a long car ride, he'll talk to you about his favourite artists. If you want him to show you how to put certain shading techniques into practice, he'll be more than happy to do so. He'll just pick a random piece of paper and start drawing on it, you might want to lean in closer and maybe put your head on his shoulder to get a better look? He has no objections! Just sayin.
When he eventually gets to see your sketchbook, this man is so honored! He didn't mean to look, at first he though it was just some book lying around and wanted to take a look inside, out off boredom. Once he realizes what he's reading at, his face flushes with crimson. Your sketchbook is filled with sketches of him? This whole time you were actually drawing him, out of all people? He couldn't be more grateful that no one else was around, if someone saw him reading through your comics with this stupid smile on his face and red cheeks, they would've though he went mad.
Kakyoin wastes no time trying to find you. For a moment, he thinks that perhaps he should've waited a bit, just to get you alone and not embarass you infront of the whole crew. He can't think straight though, his mind filled with your cute little drawings, with his face drawn with black pen over and over again. With glee, he notes that you had used the very techniques he had told you about earlier. If you had drawn him so many times, does it mean that you have a crush on him too? It's too good to be true.
"[Y/N]! Can I talk with you for a minute?"
He goes to confront you immediately. Others give him a puzzled look, but he couldn't care less. He grabs your arms and leads you away.
"Don't be mad [Y/N], but I've seen your sketchbook and I have to say, I think your art is beyond amazing!"
You're at loss of words, your face red and you could swear that you've never felt so embarassed in your whole entire life. However, his reaction is making you feel a bit better. He's not mad, nor is he making fun of you. If anything, he seems enamoured.
"Please, [Y/N], we should draw together! Maybe next time we have a chance, I should paint your portrait?"
Despite the awkwardness, the whole situation turns out amazing in the end. How he's sure you must have feelings for him, and it makes him incredibly happy, hoping that one day, after your crusade is done, he'll get a chance to repay you and make that promised portrait.
Muhammad Avdol
With everything that's been happening lately, Avdol gets a little bit distracted from you. Before he would steal glances your way all the time, watching with curiosity as you would draw something in your sketchbook. Recently, he's been too busy fighting enemy stand users and... well, trying not to die. He still cares about you a lot and watches over you during fights, ready to shield you from danger with his own body, if it's what it takes to keep you safe.
It probably happens because of a mishap. While you are deciding on your rooming, you leave your sketchbook lying next to Avdol's things and go to the bathroom. After he's done helping Joseph with translating and getting everything done, he goes back and assumes that it's just one of his books that has fallen out of the bag. Not thinking much of it, he picks it up and leaves with Mrs Joestar to settle in their shared room.
You can imagine the panic and shock that nearly paralyzes you once you notice that your beloved sketchbook is gone, nowhere to be seen, reduced to atoms! You begin to look around frantically, looking under the furniture while sweating profusely. Other quests give you weird looks, but you don't even notice them staring. Polnareff is one of them, he asks if you're okay and tries to calm you down, but to no avail. After he leaves, you try to focus really hard and try to remember - when did you see it last time? It was on that chair for sure when you left. God, you can only pray that it doesn't end up in Avdol's hands somehow...
Meanwhile, Avdol is getting ready for shower and goes through his bag. He notices the book he picked up from the lobby isn't even a book, but a sketchbook! Now he's sure he must've picked it up by mistake, he decides it would be best to put it down and not look through it. It's someone's very personal art after all, it would be very disrespectful to - wait a damn minute, is that HIM?
Long story short, he goes through a good portion of your drawings before Joseph comes out of the shower and gives him a puzzled look, seeing how his eyes are literally shinning with adoration. He puts your sketchbook back into his bag, acting as if nothing happened and continues on with his nightly routine. Later on, when Joseph is already fast asleep, he contemplates about whether or not he should go to your room right now and ask about the sketchbook he had found. He's already suspecting it's yours, whose else would it be? He has seen you drawing often, could it be that you returned his feelings and had spent your time sketching him? Ultimately, he decides to wait until tomorrow to find out.
The very next day, he knocks on your door early in the morning. It startles you awake, running up to your door to look through a peephole, seeing a muscular man on the other side. Sighing heavily, you unlock the door and open it just a little bit.
"Excuse my intrusion, [Y/N], but I have found something that I think belongs to you."
Now that's embarassing. You see your sketchbook in his hand, a wide, knowing smile on his face. He knows it's yours. All it took is one look at your stupid red face to figure it out. God, he can read you like an open book, can't he? While you reach out to take it from him, your fingers touch just slightly.
"Don't worry, I swear I won't tell anyone about this" she winked at you, which almost made you gasp "If anything, I think I should maybe pose for you in private? So you can get a better look? You should think about it..."
Who would've thought this man could be such a flirt sometimes...
Jean Pierre Polnareff
You better watch out, because if this man has a crush on you, you bet he would go above and beyond to find out what's inside that sketchbook. I'm not joking. He forgets what personal space is, he's even worse that Jotaro, because while JoJo would make sure to be sneaky, Polnareff wouldn't even bother. He'll try to catch a sneak peak by looking over your shoulder while you're drawing, constantly asking you questions about art related things, everything always leading to your sketchbook.
He wants to know what's inside. Simple as that. You're like an enigma to him, I feel like all women are mysteries to him and he always works towards finding out what their secrets are. You are especially interesting to him, because of how secretive you are with your art. He's captivated, and while he never had any interest in arts himself, he had always fancied himself as a man with a great sense of beauty. That being said, he's always trying to get your attention while talking about how "France is a wonderful country for artists! You should come and visit after our crusade is over, [Y/N]! I'll show you all the greatest museums and art galleries!"
He's like a puppy, following you around and being just a bit too pushy. If you tell him you feel uncomfortable, he'll back off of course. He's not just some juvenile pervert after all! He's a honourable man who would never touch or bother a woman without her permission, no matter how desperate he seems sometimes.
When he finally sees your sketchbook, it's probably because he did it on purpose and not because of an accident. He wanted to make sure that it was him your were capturing in your drawing, and boy was he happy when he saw what's inside! It's all him, cute little sketches, little comics, it's better that he could've ever imagined! He's literally crying the tears of joy while reading them. Before it was all just wishful thinking, but now it turns out to be true! He's honoured, admiring every single little drawing with hit tears streaming down his face. He must look pathetic right now, if anyone was around they would think the was a mad man. He gets up and runs away with your sketchbook in his hand, trying to find you.
"[Y/N]! Ma cherie! Mon coeur! My love, my life! We need to talk!"
Did i mention that he doesn't shy away from nicknames? Yeah.
It's probably the worst confrontation compared to the rest of them, he's not subtle like Kakyoin and decides to talk with you about your drawings right then and there, in front of everyone. At first they're surprised, looking at Polnareff as is he was crazy, but slowly their shock is replaced with amusement. Joseph doesn't even try to hold back his laughter, while the rest of the crew is trying to keep it cool as not to embarass you any further while the Frenchman is just going on and on with his declarations of undying love. It's a bit dramatic, one of these moments that you will probably laugh about in the future, but you felt like disappearing right then and there.
"Your drawing are magnifique! [Y/N], my love, if you wanted to draw me, you could've just said so! Although I don't think I deserve to be potrayed by you, to be drawn by your skilled hands, ma cherie!"
You snatch the sketchbook from him. After that incident you probably try to avoid him, but he won't give up! He's more determined than ever, knowing that you feel the same way as he does fills him with hope, hope for a future life with you that is! He won't give up until he makes you the happiest woman on earth.

nora the arc au) nora finds out that blake was essentually a child soldier and blake admits she's afraid that she doesn't know how to be a good person nora sugests she find someone she trusts to be a good person and then just follow their orders. then study them to find out how to be a good person yourself.
she was expecting blake to follow her own team leader ruby. instead now she's got a cat constantly watching her and jaune trying to get intimate. SHE CAN'T HOLD HANDS IN FRONT OF SOMEONE IT'S TOO LEWD! she can kiss her husband tho so consolation prize
Ceiling Cat!
Blake heard everything. Blake saw everything. If it happens in Beacon, sooner or later, she would learn about it. So when she learned about her neighbors across the hall being both the most trusting people and the most loving couple, she needed to learn more, firsthand.
Her years in the White Fang taught her many skills, including infiltration. She knocked on the door, no doubt drawing the attention of the dwellers inside. The door opens.
"Hm?" Jaune peered out through the door. "Oh, hey, Blake! What's up?"
She needed to gain their trust if she was taking this route. Failure to do so could end in total mission failure. She needed to give them a reason to let her in.
"Hey, Jaune. Do you mind if we talk in your room?"
"Uh, sure!" Jaune opened the door wide and stepped aside. "Come on in!"
"Thank you." The door shut behind her. Mission accomplished.
"What are you doing by the peephole, Yang?" Damn! I've been spotted! It's all on you, Blake! Your partner's been captured by the ice queen! "Hey!"
Blake sat quietly across the tea table Jaune unfolded for their discussion. She was told it was an idea Ren had to help bond the team together. It was small, square, and only had enough room for one person at each end. Thankfully, however, it was tall enough to have tea on. She was served a cup pre-made by Ren for sudden guests.
"So what's on your mind?" Jaune asked.
"I'm told you're the most trusting man at Beacon."
"Wow, really?" Jaune blushed. "I had no idea!"
Blake nodded. "I wanted to get to know you a little better, and hopefully you can get to know me as well."
"Yeah, that'd be great!" Jaune beamed. "What do you want to know?"
"First, I'd like to know about your family." Blake began. "You were born to the Arc family, correct?"
Jaune nodded. "I take you've heard of them."
"Only a few times. My father used to praise your family for being kind." Jaune grinned. "But he also criticized their recklessness." He frowned. "He said your family made a habit of sticking their nose where it didn't belong. The Faunus Wars, for example."
"Oh, yeah. You mean Abigail Arc, right?" Blake nodded. "Honestly, I don't know a lot about her, except that she broke Faunus from slavery during the early settling of Vacuo."
Blake nodded. "Yes, and at the time, she was my favorite human from history."
"Really? Who was your favorite Faunus?"
"I would say Ghira Belladonna, one of the early founders of the White Fang."
"The terrorist group?" Blake flinched, but Jaune didn't seem to notice. "Kind of weird, but I guess it makes sense if you cared a lot about Faunus rights."
Blake nodded. "Yes, and I do. Jaune, do you trust me?"
"Of course I do."
"And can I trust you?"
"You can." Blake removed the string from her ribbon, causing it to fall and reveal her small cat ears. Jaune blinked and gasped. Blake blushed as she revealed her secret.
"Kitty!"
"What?" Blake whirled around to find Nora standing behind her, gawking at Blake's ears. She had stars in her eyes, like a child watching a butterfly for the first time.
"Can I touch them?" Nora gave a pouty face. "Pleeeeeeeease?"
"Nora," Jaune warned, "mind your manners."
Blake giggled. "Are you sure you're a couple? You seem more like a parent and child relationship."
Nora scoffed. "It's just a gag we run with each other. Right, Jauney?"
Jaune chuckled. "Yes, honey, it is." Jaune then looked Blake dead in the eyes and shook his head, mouthing 'No!' Nora pulled up a chair and sat between them. "So, you're a cat faunus? I take it that's why you're so curious about my thoughts on Abigail Arc."
"Partially." Blake admitted. "Moreover, I was curious on your thoughts on human/faunus relations."
"What relations?" Nora asked.
Blake nodded. "Exactly. Humans and Faunus have had a strained connection between them since the end of the Faunus Wars. Some people have held onto their grudges from then, even when the war ended before their parents were born."
Nora nodded along. "Mhm, I see."
"It's a shame when people can't see past a set of ears or a tail to have a normal conversation." Jaune replied.
"Yes, a darn shame." Nora nodded again.
"Cardin is one example." Blake offered. "His great grandfather fought against the Faunus, and he still holds a grudge against us, even though we never harmed him."
"True, true."
"Nora," Jaune looked in his fiance's direction, "when did the Faunus Wars end?"
"Uh," Nora blushed, "sixty-three years ago starting at noon tomorrow?"
Blake and Jaune shared a look, then looked back in Nora's direction. "Lucky guess."
"Look, I don't really get it, but I still think it's ridiculous." Nora started listing things on her fingers, "The Faunus Wars, the White Fang, the Menagerie Outcastings, the SDC embargoes," Nora waved her hands in the air. "It's all ridiculous! At the end of the day, we're all the same squishy people with breakable body parts."
"A bit morbid, but I understand." Blake was surprised to hear Nora make an argument against not just Faunus discrimination, but discrimination as a whole. She smiled as she stood up. "I should be going." She tied the bow around her ears. "But before I go, I have one more question to ask you."
Jaune and Nora watched carefully. "Yes?" Jaune answered.
"I used to be a member of the White Fang. I used to hurt people for a living. For ten years, every day, I fought against violence with violence. Knowing this," Blake turned to face them, their visibly pale faces watching her every move, "will you treat me any differently?"
"Yes," Jaune answered immediately, standing up and approaching her. She watched as he closed the gap between them, unflinching, expecting the worst. "I'm sorry."
Blake couldn't move. She was trapped in his grip, and he refused to let go. Worse yet, it felt... nice.
Jaune hugged her, resting his head on her shoulder, one hand rubbing her back. "I'm sorry you had to go through that?"
"Jeez, Jauney," Nora teased, "now who's being rude, hugging a girl without her permission?"
"It's fine, it's..." Blake leaned into the hug, "nice."
Blake had left, and Jaune was currently putting the tea table away. He folded it and slipped it into the closet space. As he shut the door, he was hugged from behind by Nora. "You really do have a big heart," Nora said, "you know that?"
"Yeah, I know." Jaune answered. "What I didn't know was how much you knew about Faunus history."
Nora giggled. "Just because I don't talk about it, it doesn't mean I don't know anything about it."
"Fair point." Jaune admitted. "So, here we are again."
"All alone." Nora added.
"Ren and Pyrrha won't be back for a while. Do you wanna..." Jaune trailed off.
"Right now? In the middle of the day?" Nora asked.
Jaune turned around to face Nora. He draped his arms over her shoulders. "Why not? No one's watching."
Nora gulped. "O-Okay."
Jaune and Nora held their hands up, touching palms together. Jaune shifted his hand clockwise and began by wrapping her hand with his pinkie. Nora followed suit with her pinkie, nestling it between his Pinkie and ring finger. Jaune then lowered his ring finger down, followed by Nora, though her finger's ring cause Jaune to flinch from how cold it was. "Are you okay?" Nora asked. Jaune nodded, and continued with his middle finger. Then came the index fingers, leaving only the thumbs extended. Jaune wrapped his thumb around Nora's hand, with the girl looking up with a dreamy sigh.
"BLAKE?!" Nora shrieked. Nora leapt away and looked away with a blush. Jaune looked up, and indeed saw the Faunus girl above with cat eyes wide with pupils round.
"Should you be doing such lewd things without wedding rings on?" Blake asked.
Jaune grabbed his boot from the closet, hefting it up. "GET OUT OF HERE, CEILING CAT!" Jaune tossed his boot into the ceiling, forcing Blake to scurry away.
"What happened?!" Ruby asked, static covering her speech.
"Mission failed," Blake reported, "we'll get 'em next time."

Bulldogs (Adam/Marrow) headcanons, owo?
Okay I don't think I've recently reblogged any ship headcanon ask meme thingies recently, but let's use that general idea as a sort of base. So. Bulldogs. Let's go.
My headcanon for Bulldogs is that they're childhood friends in Mantle, who both worked in the mines together as children. Marrow worked as a trapper, specifically, look that up if you want to get really mad at coal miners in the 1800s, and Adam pulled carts through areas adults couldn't fit in. Life sucked for them both, but that's what forges strong friendships that, unfortunately, do not get to prevail due to the SDC being The Worst.
Years later, after everything Happens, Adam is arrested. Marrow decides 'I can change him' because he feels like he kinda owes the guy after the event where Adam got branded, and so now we have uneasy roommate rehabilitation.
There is a lot to sort out. Like, a lot a lot. On both ends. Going to couples therapy before you even become a couple ftw.
They don't talk about the brand.
Marrow: when you have to live with your best friend who you loved before you even knew what love was and then spent the rest of your life pining and then they come back all in black and red and angsty and murdering people and it's not good morally but it's also really not good when that crush you tried to forget comes back with a vengeance and then you're living together with all that unspoken stuff, that's relatable, right? Harriet: Marrow what the fuck.
I like to think Marrow confesses first by accident, likely during an very emotional moment where the words 'I love you' slip out, it's probably angsty because we're not here for the fluff yet. Adam is poleaxed, moment over immediately, they're just left staring at each other.
Marrow jumps out a window to avoid unpacking all that.
But anyway they have another emotional moment eventually, and they start working through Emotional Vulnerability too.
Relationship get!
Now we can talk fluff.
Adam is a morning person by force and not choice. Now that he doesn't have to get up for mine shifts, survival, or white fang duties, he will sleep in til, like, noon. Marrow is just as bad when he doesn't have work, what is a morning.
They subsist only on the goodwill of Elm and takeout. Elm is a marvellous cook who has kept Marrow alive with a variety of bakes, casseroles, and soups for years. She now makes them all vegetarian. Adam is grateful. Marrow is not.
They're not really allowed have roadtrips until, like, 5 years in when Adam's been a Certified Good Noodle TM and his parole is lax enough that he can have supervised leave of the apartment. In order to prevent arguing they made a shared playlist and it's all punk, death metal, hip hop, and despite Adam's best efforts, a little bit of bubblegum pop. He maintains a great stoic face when those ones play.
They eventually talk about the brand.
They both do campaigning for faunus rights still, Marrow by using his Ace Op status, Adam by being a bitch to racists online because he's not actually allowed near any active faunus rights demonstrations due to his parole.
Sparring matches only ever happen hand to hand, because their weapon styles are so different, and it's generally a tie who wins. They're also both ridiculously competitive so there's actually no chance of sparring turning into makeout sessions, they spar to WIN (it also decides who cleans the tupperware).
Adam is already a crafts guy. He liked engraving, embroidery, all that sort of stuff. Then he suddenly has a lot of free time on his hands due to Mandated House Arrest. The hobby becomes a Lot More Integral.
There are many handmade ceramics and embroidered cushions and Weird Sculptures. They multiply. They've taken over what used to be Adam's bedroom. They're expanding into the main apartment like an infestation. Adam is proud of them. Marrow is quietly dreading whatever may come next. Jokes on him, it's Adam's Windchime Era.
They don't ever get married because they're cheap and also valid, but they do eventually change Marrow's address residence to say 'Amin-Taurus' on the apartment button buzzer sign. Marrow tried to put forward 'Taurus & Amin Co.' to make it sound official. Didn't work.
They eventually foster, way off in the future, when Adam has somewhat reintegrated into society and because Marrow is definitely a family person. They'd specifically try take in troubled faunus teenagers who got bounced around a lot and try to help them out, give them a home. Marrow is Nice and Adam is Stern, it works out better than expected. Lots of weekend visits. They feel content with life.
Marrow wears a scarf Adam embroidered everywhere. It always feels like a piece of home.
And here's what I got. Hope you enjoy, smols!

Winter might (POSSIBLY) break out Qrow and Robin
I know its a stretch but hear me out...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When we see Winter, Ironwood has gone to check on her. We also see one of the guards telling him that the prisoners have been brought to a specific cell.
Winter particularly asks if it was Qrow and Robin, to which Ironwood doesn’t reply, only that we see him watching Winter being treated for her injuries until he eventually asks the medical staff to leave them alone.
He doesn’t confirm who exactly among the fugitives had been transported but considering that she was the one who last saw team RWBY and Penny, I’m sure she hadn’t reacted violently because she knew it wasn’t them.
In this case, I would presume his silence means yes and Winter understands that they it was indeed Qrow and Robyn who had just been placed in their jail cells.
Tumblr media
The moment Winter tries moving her injuries, only to be dismayed that she couldn’t move her hand properly, Ironwood’s features soften and he thanks her for all her hard work and the sacrifices she just made. This would have been the perfect opportunity for her to tell him any information she may have had to give, but we don’t see her say anything.
NOTE: Previously, we saw Ironwood call Penny and asked her to head back to Atlas where she would be “safe”. By no means does this mean he knows she’s the maiden just yet. In this conversation with him and Winter, she doesn’t mention it either that Penny is now in fact the current winter maiden. She is still withholding some truths from him.
Her loyalty to him is no longer definite. Let me explain this further.
Tumblr media
We see him tell her how they’ve never seen a hoard of grimm this large come to Atlas and how the shields may not hold them for long. She immediately asks what he’s going to do next, but there is evident urgency and concern in her tone. You can also tell that her addressing him was delayed.
If there’s anything we’ve heard from Winter, it’s that she has always addressed her superior with urgency and respect. But in this conversation, her addressing his had lagged. Whether or not it was intentional, its definitely ear-catching. For as long as Winter has been on screen, her addressing him is always immediate after she speaks, so for her to falter for once gives us the benefit of the doubt that she may have strayed from seeing him as her superior even for just a moment.
Now this isn’t definite, but it gives us a lot to think about, especially when all he says to her is that he would do whatever it takes to save Atlas, and what does he do right after??
He shoots the councilman RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER!!!
Tumblr media
If she hasn’t begun to doubt him before, her face once he leaves definitely proves that she’s already doubting him now. Her loyalty to him has begun to falter the moment she just saw him slay someone that was clearly unarmed with no reason to be killed whatsoever.
With her doubt, she MAY begin to defect from him. I know a lot of people are saying that she won’t because of loyalty and how long she’s been working for the military, but the thing is, she’s already doubted him since V7. Her conversations with Weiss and Penny were enough to prove that even she knew not everything he was doing was right nor did it always sit well with her.
With this in mind, and the new information that she specifically knows where Qrow and Robin are locked up, there might be a chance that she will be the one to break them out. It’s a long shot, but its not impossible. I mean, if it wasn’t possible, then the guard would have let Ironwood know about the information elsewhere, maybe in front of the ace ops instead and not in front of Winter enough for her to hear and confirm that it was Qrow and Robin that had been transported.
(EDIT): I find that Winter’s hair shifting into a ponytail is a symbolism to her breaking free. She had always had her hair in a tight bun even when she was still in the Schnee manor, and I think that has something to do with being obedient and locked on her duties towards either working to be the heiress to the SDC or to her place in the military. Now that it’s gone from her right bun, she has loosened up. I think it’s a sign of her breaking away from all of the expectations and paths that had been set up for her and is finally forging her own path.
(EDIT 2): The color red has always been a symbol of freedom for the Schnees and we can see that only Winter and Weiss ever have them. Winter’s new arm cast (or possibly brace support) has a prominent strip of red that I think is also symbolic of her deviating from Ironwood like how she did with Jacques.

My problem with the SDC plot in RWBY is that Jacques wants just Weiss personal villain
He’s ultimately the one responsible for Adams brand, and the deaths of Illia’s parents, as well as the deaths and maiming of who knows how many other workers,
He’s not just Weiss’ villain, he was Blake’s villain, Robyns villain, hell, with him monopolizing remnants only fuel source, he’s a villain to the entire world, of remnant,
And yet, when he’s defeated, it’s pure luck, and he’s forgotten almost immediately
Now the SDC, and all of atlas are destroyed, and not thanks to Weiss, or Blake, or the white fang, or any of the heroes, it’s because of Salem,
You are right to an extend. Although I think it's not surprising that Jacques's character role correlates with so many people indirectly or not. I like to put in real-life positions on characters sometimes to see it from a better perspective, and I see Jacques as a corrupted president of a country (think; Trump, Malaysia's prime minister, Philippines leaders, and more). Jacques is a lot of things, they positioned him as a conquer, a dictator, a cruel boss, a horrible father, a manipulative bastard. But his role needed him to be all of that to pace the story to what it is now. And that is why, while he is a villain in everyone's eyes, he was not one to anyone personally, it was that way with Adam, but then Adam became consumed by his hatred towards humans that eventually his villain became his emotion. Robyn started a resistance, a movement, Jacques stopped being her villain at some point, he started being her mission, partly, and then her villain was no more because Robyn had her vision and it was not solely there for Jacques. She had a purpose, she had no villain, is what I like to think. Blake's villain was never Jacques.
Blake's villain was herself. Adam and the White Fang were the stepping stone to reveal her. Aside from the WF role in working with the antagonists. Blake hated the Schnees, even Weiss. But with how she was not consumed by that shows that her hatred is not self-driven, she was simply a person, a faunus who was and is trying to find balance, equality and equity for her people with the human and it was perfectly understandable that she resented the Schnees. Until it eventually becomes ONLY Jacques. She met Jacques a few times in fact and was not visibly trying to kill him or even has negative look on her face. In Solitas, she was just there for Weiss. And I think it's beautiful that she even has the courage and the nerve to hold onto one of the worst man's daughter's hands in front of him like that. Because she is no longer trapped by her demon, she is no longer her villain and that gives her the courage to thrive and be there for her chosen family.
Jacques was never Weiss's villain, not in my eyes at least. Sure she was in his cage. But then he broke that cage himself, and Weiss was free. There's something about Weiss arc that personally bothers me. I don't see a villain. Although I do realize that Weiss was always destined to bring her family back together. Her character's development was not only for her but for the drastic changes within her family. Weiss has her past demons. But she has no villain. Not one that I can see. Or maybe it's just my writer's mind looking too deep into this, but I really don't think of Jacques as her villain. And that's what makes it interesting because then people speculate it might be Winter. And oh! That, that has some sense to it. Winter who has always been the object of Weiss's admiration. The one person she wants to impress. The only praises she wants to hear are from Winter's mouth. And it could be Winter, you know? However, some people also speculate the possibility of Winter's villain origin story. I can't say I agree with that theory. She wants to make Cinder pay. Cinder works for Salem. Winter has her maiden power given by Penny, who was her only friend, who she knows would want her to keep the people Penny once protected, safe. Weiss "died" because of Salem indirectly and purposely because of Cinder. She wouldn't join the villains. Winter being Weiss's villain would be so phenomenal if you ask me. I'd love to see that happen or be reveal. There's a lot more to Weiss's story, I think. A lot more to the Schnees. And it's more than Jacques and what he did.
Also, Jacques being forgotten is not an issue to me, Atlas fall, the people of Atlas and Mantle are busy running for their lives, busy worrying about themselves to think about a cruel leader who holds no significance in their lives. The moment Jacques was arrested, he stopped being a threat. Ironwood killed him because he annoyed him, and while it was an unjustified kill, it was understandable to the plot. In the middle of a brewing war, a man who had brought a lot of misery to people is not the priority at all. Moreover when he lost his power. So he was removed from the story. They could have done it in a better, more conclusive way but well. Still tho.
So yes, I wouldn't call Jacques anyone's villain. Jacques Schnee was a pawn character. He played himself. He got removed from the chest board. The game is still going, and it's simply better without him in it because he is no longer needed for the story. Jacques wasn't anyone. He was just a horrible link in the middle of everything, just so that some hatred can be justified.

RWBY Volume 8 Chapter 2 Recap
“Refuge” ----------
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At the Atlas prison, Qrow, who looks at the bloody talisman of Clover, listens to Robyn Hill says to Jacques Schnee that this is all his fault, saying all she wanted was to bring Atlas together, to give them a chance at a better life, but he stood in way of that. Jacques replied by saying that he was a victim, he admits to being tricked and used, also going on to say that although his hands are figuratively not clean, at least he is no murderer, referring to Qrow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robyn tells Jacques that Qrow didn’t kill anyone, and she wasn’t going to be lectured, calling Jacques “a snake with a mustache” who helped Arthur Watts tear Mantle apart. Watts, who was laying down on his prison seat, says that they are all stuck together now, Jacques replies by saying that he knows the right people and knows that his son Whitley Schnee, is calling them as he speaks, but before he could say another word, Robyn punches the hard light cell by Jacques, yelling at him to shut up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just then, three Atlas guards arrive to Watts’ cell, when they got, Watts asked if they realized they caught me, and one of the guards hits him with the back of their gun, knocking out and taking him away. Robyn says that she hates not being able to do anything, Qrow then says that they can do something, by killing the man that brought them their, that being Ironwood.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Speaking of Ironwood, he was on the news, the Atlas reporter says that the people of Mantle are scared and perplexed by the sudden withdraw of military personal, especially with a massive Grimm horde outside the kingdom, saying that it feels like the end of days, just then, Joanna walked by and took the microphone from the reporter, and looks at the camera, saying to everyone in Mantle that Ironwood has abandon all of them, but the Happy Huntresses have not, telling them to gather as much food and supplies they need to stay warm and head for the Mantle crater, saying that with the Grimm making their way into the city, they can hold the line if they all come together, if not, then they will all just be targets for the Grimm outside the kingdom. “It’s time to show your teeth, Mantle” - Joanna Greenleaf.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Team Yang made it to Pietro’s pharmacy, and when they opened the door for their new equipment, it made Yang have a big smile on her face saying that Ruby’s team is really missing out. Afterwards, Yang and Oscar were riding on a hover bike, in which she did a flip loop trick with him holding onto her, but tasting a bit of her hair in the process, all while Jaune and Ren were riding on their own.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Team Yang tries to evacuate a part of Mantle, suddenly, screams from citizens are heard as they run away from two Grimm, Jaune then activates and throws a device that holds up a hard light shield, blocking the Grimms path and giving Ren the chance to strike them down. “Way better than a hover bike” - Jaune Arc
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oscar asks Yang if the Grimm have already pushed that far into the city, she says that she thinks those two were just from the other night, she then asks Ren if Jaune uses his Aura Amplification on him, could he mask everyone’s emotions there, Ren says that it’s worth a shot, but a long trip through Mantle. Jaune approved of the plan, saying that it will be a Grimm free journey all the way to the carter, however, one lady asked Yang if they really need to sack up with those “animals in the slums” and that she would feel more safer up in Atlas, Yang says that she is sure that the lady would be, but “the people up top” decided that her along with the people of Mantle, aren’t worth the trouble, saying that the Faunus on the other hand and willing to help any way they can, regardless if some people deserve it or not.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As the now masked emotion people of Mantle, along with Team Yang while Ren and Jaune were controlling it, the lady from before kept complaining softly, Oscar says to himself, or rather to Ozpin, that it shouldn’t be this difficult to cooperate, Ozpin replies by saying that it’s something that he is really concerned about, Oscar didn’t want to hear this voice at the moment, Ozpin goes on to say that Oscar, along with everyone else has every right to be upset with him and that he apologizes for leaving, Oscar says that he wasn’t upset that Ozpin left, he was upset that he came back, going on to say he started to feel like himself, not who he was before, but who he is now, and that felt like he was apart of the team, Ozpin says that he understands, even though it didn’t feel like he was with him, he was never truly gone, and that Oscar is gaining control of his remaining magic, recollecting his lost held memories, meaning their souls are still on the path to becoming one soul, Oscar then says that he doesn’t want that, and Ozpin replies by saying neither does he. Ren’s semblance started to fade, Jaune asked if he was okay, Ren says that it’s just a lot to focus on, Jaune tried to cheer him up, but Ren says that he doesn’t need a pep talk from him, just focus. Ozpin then says that they need to find a way to work together, not just him and Oscar, but all of them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meanwhile, May Marigold helped Ruby’s Team get into the shipping area, Nora thanked May for coming with them, May says “don’t mention it”, saying that once Robyn knew about Amity Tower, she wouldn’t shut up about it and she would want them all to get it up and running and get the world talking again, also saying that Fiona Thyme is helping Team Yang in her stead, which left Nora feeling a bit uneasy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Weiss explains that Snowshoe Shipping is a Schnee Dust Company subsidiary, where the drones there report to the company itself and not Ironwood, the pneumatic tubes help dust crates to go straight to Atlas, and all the team has to do is find the one to the military, Blake jokingly asked Weiss if there was any building in Atlas that Weiss’ family doesn’t own, Weiss says that that isn’t relevant at the moment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ruby went to check on Penny afterwards, Penny tells Ruby that she doesn’t like when friends fight, but when Ruby thought she meant with Yang and the others, she meant Winter and Ironwood, she says that they were their friends, but then the Ace Ops attacked them. When Penny mentioned what Ironwood said about people dying because her, Ruby immediately said that it was a lie, that he was just trying to hurt her, Penny says that she was the protector of Mantle, but she is more than that now, and she wishes she wasn’t. Ruby holds Penny’s hands and says that Penny is still Penny, and by becoming the Winter Maiden, she did protect Mantle, Penny smiled and thanked her as the two f them hugged.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nora wonders how the tube system works, Weiss demonstrated how simple it would if someone to lay back on the tube, which she did, but before she could even say anything else, Nora pressed a blue button that sucked Weiss through the tube to Atlas.
Tumblr media
Nora wanted to try it out herself from the looks of it.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, while evacuating, Fiona contacts others in Mantle to help out in anyway in each sector, noticing that Fiona is tired, Joanna says, while putting fire dust crystals in a furnace, that Robyn would be proud of Fiona for her hard work, Fiona feels like Joanna should do the work after “flexing” on the news earlier, Joanna laughs and says that she was just trying to get the word out, and that it looks like its working.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Team Yang arrived with the other citizens of Mantle, Fiona said it was great that they cleared Sector 7 so quickly, she said honestly that she didn’t think they would make it without their teammates, which made Team Yang feel uneasy and causing Ren to walk off, Yang says that they’re doing just fine, Oscar asks where are all the people going, Fiona says that her, along with the rest of the Happy Huntress are working to get them into house or shelters, also using old mine shafts which a large portion of community is trying to make a living condition. Joanna says that looting the SDC refineries is their best source of the dust, the fortunate part is no one is getting arrest during all of this and it was an uneasy feeling knowing all the Grimm were out there circling, wondering what they are waiting for. The old man from before, who was Fiona’s uncle, tells Fiona that there was another fight breaking out between the citizens, which Joanna volunteered to break up, Fiona then gets a notification from Crimson, another member of the Happy Huntresses, saying that him and his group have spotted Grimm in the East, in which Team Yang would volunteer to take care of.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Afterwards, Yang was luring a flying Grimm to her, attacking it while riding the hover bike, while Oscar and Ren were on the other side of the block, waiting for the signal, when Yang and Ren rode where the bridge was, the flying Grimm swooped down from under the bridge, trying to attack them, but before he could, Oscar threw a dust bomb under the flying Grimm, causing it to hit up under the bridge, giving Jaune the chance to deliver a final strike, finishing it off.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yang informs Fiona that they’ve taken care of the Grimm of the East, but Fiona says that there are Grimm now in the West, and that the huntsmen could use assistance, Yang says that they’ll take care of it, Oscar says that it’s the negativity in the atmosphere, Salem’s forces may not be moving, but that’s enough to attract straggling Grimm, Ren tiredly says that they’re not finished as they all see three Grimm headed for them, but before they could even fight, they all stopped and ran the other way, Team Yang wondered why they would do that, and that they’ve never see Grimm act like that before.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then suddenly, out of nowhere, the Grimm that Salem sent swooped down and attacked Oscar off the hover bike, Oscar kicked it trying to break free from its grasp, but it was useless as this Grimm was too powerful, attacking Oscar, depleting his aura, this was no ordinary Grimm, Yang, Jaune and Ren tried to rescue Oscar, but the Grimm used him as a shield giving it the chance to counter their attacks, Jaune says that Grimm aren’t that smart, Ren then ordered The Grimm to give Oscar back, but the Grimm.....
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Grimm said no.... The team was shocked to hear a Grimm speak, then it started to transform, sprouting wings, grabbing Oscar by its jaws and flying away to Salem, Yang, Jaune and Ren rush to the hover bikes to rescue him, Fiona asks what was going on with the West sector, Yang said to Fiona that it was an emergency, when Fiona asked Yang what kind of emergency is it, Yang just said that she wouldn’t believe her if she told her as they chase down this new abnormal Grimm. -------- What is the new abnormal Grimm? Or rather, who is this new abnormal Grimm?

Heyy!! Congrats on making it to 50 followers!! I know it's not much but sooner or later it'll grow big and you'll have tons of mini minions who love and adore you! + your writings too!!
I just want to say that your Caesar blowjob with a twist got me hooked on recreating questionable scenarios while I was folding the clothes and my brain said "How dare this person make me go horny without consent!!" Just kidding, I give my utmost thanks from getting my hormones set off from your writing❤❤
I just recently finished watching SDC and I'm in the big sad from seeing Kakyoin dying while listening to Goodbye Nostalgia before crying because the lyrics hit me so baddd
Would it be alright if I were to request a small scenario that Kakyoin survived the hit? I just want my cherry boy healthy and well dhdhdhdhdhvf
I also love my cherry boy, so yes. You can have that. Now I need to go mop up my tears because this whole thing was so sweet. This may be a little sad, but it gets better. Just... my poor boy, he needs to heal. Honestly, this was a nice break from what I usually write, so thanks for that! Had to hold back lots of happy tears with this one.
Kakyoin is finally released from the hospital after healing from his DIO-induced injuries and he could not be more excited.
Have a character, but no idea? Prompt list here!
Looking for more? Master post here!
WARNINGS: A little bit of sad, but mostly happy reunions! Paraplegic!Kakyoin.
Word Count: 1205
Hope and Recovery
Kakyoin’s feet dangled over the side of the hospital bed. He looked at them with a sad curiosity, narrowing his eyes and focusing, willing them to move, to feel that tingle, the feeling of stretching them out. But, they wouldn’t. No matter how hard he tried. It was still too soon, according to the doctors. He couldn’t help wanting to be that tiny 1%, that little miracle person. For now, he would have to be okay with a wheelchair seeing as using Hierophant would be a little too odd for people who can’t see stands.
He sighed, pulling his legs back onto the bed, arranging himself so he was lying down again. He smiled, staring at the bed table near his feet. Various pictures of smiling family, friends and whatever Iggy was feeling in the picture Polnareff took. A chuckle escapes him freely. Iggy had sunglasses on and what looked like a smaller version of what Mr. Joestar would wear on vacation with a small vibrant drink in the lower corner.
Looking over to the calendar on the wall next to the clock, he checked which day it was. Of course, he knew what day it was, he just needed to keep reminding himself that it was happening. He was going home today. After so many months of healing in the hospital, he was finally allowed to go home. Home to his bed and games and beanbag chair, his dad’s awful jokes and his mum. He missed her the most, he thinks. 53 days travelling and then another 3 months on top of that was too much, to say the least. They’d visit, of course, but nothing compares to waking up to her cooking.
Kakyoin laughs to himself, thinking of what his father and uncles would say at parties when he was a kid. He really was a mama’s boy and proud of it! He looks at the clock, then back to the calendar for the umpteenth time today, pinching himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. This day was finally here.
     And Avdol was late.
Funny, the warm-hearted man was usually very punctual. Maybe Mr. Joestar was driving them. He and Avdol had grown close, sharing this room together while they healed. The Speedwagon Foundation had given him robotic hands, like Mr. Joestar, so it was a bit easier for him to heal probably. Meanwhile, Kakyoin chose to keep his legs. When he woke up, they had told him that there was a small chance that he would be able to walk with his own legs again and, by God, he was going to take it. Even if it didn’t work, he was sure they’d come up with some way to help him.
All of the sudden, Polnareff burst through the door, flowers and balloons in his hands, smiling like a buffoon, not that he could blame him. His own cheeks hurt from smiling so much today which was only amplified by the grin he gave his friend. The two laughed whole heartily as they hugged, being careful of Kakyoin’s injuries, babbling about how exciting this all was. He barely remembered what they said! It was all a blur. Someone came in and gave him his clothes, then helped him into the wheelchair so he could change with a little help from the nurse.
Everything was a buzz with excitement as Avdol pushed him down the hallway, flowers in hand and the balloon tied to the handle of the wheelchair. They all waved at the doctors and nurses, laughing about the good times of Egypt, exchanging inside jokes, the like. When they arrived at the doors, he saw Mr. Joestar and Jotaro standing together, a rare smile graced Jotaro’s lips as he saw his friend approach him, joking about him looking like shit when he could see how tried Kakyoin was.
“I couldn’t sleep last night. I was looking forward to the morning too much.” They all smiled sincerely, Joseph clamped a hand down on shoulder, laughing loud enough to draw attention from the passers by.
Looking out the glass door, his eye was caught by a familiar form. “Mom!” He said, putting his hands on the wheels and rolling as fast as he could towards her. She turned at the sound of her son’s voice, then grinned.
“Noriaki!” She ran to him, almost falling to her knees when she was close enough to hug him. He tried his best to catch her, pulling her close to him. They laughed through happy tears, reunited. She immediately went into telling him about what happened at home when she pulled back. His dad came over and did the same, kissing him on the temple gently, patting his back.
It was evident they were all happy to see each other, happy to get back to their usual routines. With these people around him, healing would be a breeze! It would be like it never happened. Perfect.
-----------
“Oh, come on! No way!” Kakyoin shouted with glee, hitting the buttons on his controller harder than he was before. He was trying to beat Dark Link from Legend of Zelda 2, but to no avail. One final stab from the black pixel counter part and he was toast, dropping his hands to the couch and letting out an exasperated sigh. He looked over to Jotaro, who was trying to hide his smug smile. “As if you could do any better!”
The two laughed lightly, reaching into the bowl of pop corn they had sitting between them. He closed out of the game, done with the fight for now. One day he’d get it. One day.
“Was there anything you wanted to play?” He asked. Jotaro shrugged. “There’s not a lot, but there is Super Mario Brothers. You seemed to like that last time. Until the Goomba.”
“The what?” He looked over, confused and perturbed.
“The Goomba. It’s the mushroom thing that kept-”
“Oh, right. Is that what they’re called?”
“Yes, that’s what they’re called. Do you want to play it? If not, we could watch a movie,” Kakyoin mused, trying to get his friend interested. He heard him sigh and smiled.
     “Fine, I’ll play.”
“Great! Would you mind getting it set up? I would do it myself, but...” He gestured to his legs. Jotaro got up wordlessly, getting the new game and setting it up the way he had taught him to, the proper way as he says. Kakyoin did whatever he needed to on his end, the familiar, joyful music filling their ears. He quickly reminded Jotaro how to play and then they set off on starting a new file.
Everything was going well, until the Koopas at the second stage. Jotaro made Mario jump on to the first one properly, and then hit the wrong side of the shell, making it barrel the other way, killing his tiny character. Kakyoin laughed.
     “Well, it wasn’t the Goomba!”
“Let’s just watch a movie.” Another loud laugh made the taller teen hide his head behind his hat. He couldn’t help letting a small smile creep across his lips. Content. Glad that he has his friend, now and forever, as cheesy as that was. It felt nice. For both of them.

when and why did bumblebee usurp Monochrome as "the big ship". maybe my memory is just faulty but I could've sworn that at least during Vol. 1 that Monochrome was the big ship because of the obvious (at least at the time) collision course Blake and Weiss's plotlines were on and the enemies to lovers dynamic of it.
I think the first biggest thing to happen that shot Bumbleby into the main ship that it is today is the "Burning The Candle" conversation in V2. It was the first time we got to look into Yang's character beyond the bright, fun-loving party girl who's Ruby's sister. We got to see her flaws, her fear of abandonment, her desire to find her biological mother that is now tempered by experience of just how fanatical dedication to your ideals can lead to yourself and others being put in harm's way.
And that's what she tried to teach Blake. I don't approve of harshly shoving her since other characters proved they could get through to Blake without putting their hands on her, even when she was being violent and confrontational first. But I will say that this was the first jumping stone for the Bumbleby relationship.
Then Yang lost her arm trying to defend Blake and their relationship took a serious dive because Blake ran away. This is typically, the lowest point in a relationship before they build it back up again, which was obviously what a lot of fans were expecting. The problem is... it never came.
Blake and Yang never worked to build their relationship back up. They had one argument, didn't talk to each other about it, and then immediately jumped to the end of the journey with holding hands, declaring their protection of each other, and killing Adam, the shared source of their trauma and the man who tore them apart in the first place.
So yeah, if the relationship was given more care and wasn't trying to fight for screentime and development with Blacksun, which took most of Blake's healing moments and had them with Sun rather than Yang, this relationship would've shown that it earned the hype it has. Especially since Monochrome really didn't get anything like BB after V1 when it solved Weiss' racism.
Which is sad because, purely from a narrative point of view, Monochrome has more substance than BB. It's a classic tale of two sides in a war that learned to come together and blossom a relationship out of hate, working together for the better of a people. Weiss has more business helping Blake right the wrongs of humanity and the SDC against the Faunus than Yang does, and actively had her behaviour called out for the most part.
Yang hasn't. She has no issue being racist and dismissive of the Faunus plight beyond how it affects Blake, she has no story in the White Fang beyond it being connected to Adam, and it's so surface level that you could replace Yang with anyone and it would not change a thing.
You can't do that with Weiss because she is the heiress of the company that not only enslaves the Faunus, but is directly responsible for making Adam into the monster he is today. She has deep story connections to the White Fang, and in essence Blake, that couldn't be replaced with Ruby or Yang or Sun or anyone, not like how you could replace Yang with Ruby or Sun and nothing would change in the plot beyond Yang's personal story.

The rich people like Jacques know full well the Faunus are people, they just don’t care,
That was Jacques’ whole schtick, he knew the alien he was causing and he did t care because he profited from it
Same with all his rich cohorts,
It’s indifference more then anything that allows racism to prosper
Just look at ironwood, he knew how Jacques treats his workers, and he’s evidently not racist himself, but he didn’t do anything to stop how the SDC treated Faunus workers, why? Because the atlas military benifits from its partnership with the SDC,
The people who actively hate the Faunus like racist grandma or drunk guy are a small part of a larger web of problems, marrow himself said the entirety of atlas society was built to keep Faunus down,
Just getting some of the racist humans to “change their mind” doesn’t effect all that much,
However, in a way the work,is already done
Systemic oppression requires the oppressors to have power over the oppressed, and with atlas fallen “which was salems doing” the atlesians have lost that power, equality has already been achieved, at least for the immediate future while they’re staying in vacuo,
Agreed, Jacques could get away with oppression because of profit, and many Atlesian suits did too. Indifference to the suffering of minorities is a sign of a passively racist society - which Atlas fits to a T.
Agreed, Ironwood 100% overlooked the human-rights violations because he benefited from SDC dust operations.
Agreed, the individuals are influenced by their culture and recognizing small background examples helps to understand the broader scale of the society that actively keeps Faunus toward the bottom of the pecking order.
Semi-agree to changing the minds of a few doesn't change much. It's better than it was before, and RWBY preaches having the faintest sliver of hope in seemingly dire situations. I'm not expecting every Atlesian to do a 180 on their opinion of Faunus, but those who do might be able to convince the people they are close too. (Remember, Remnant doesn't have F0X News XD)
There's also the theme of the young stepping up and taking the mantle from their elders - and we know that some Atlesian kids we've seen in this show are much more open to new ideas than their predecessors (Flynt and Neon lowkey rebelling against Atlas' monotones with their battle gear, Whitley and Weiss breaking out of their preconceptions and prejudices, and racist grandma's grandson being friends with a fox Faunus). With a more open-minded generation being raised outside of Atlas' system, perhaps Remnant can leave Atlesian ideals and superiority complexes behind, for good.
Agree to the last point as well! With Atlas fallen, the Atlesians lost the power dynamic that can be used to oppress and justify their oppression of the Faunus. People from Mantle and Atlas are on even ground, so to speak, now that they are all refugees in Vacuo.

How I would do RWBY pt. 1
Revised Timeline of story events (This is not a script, but a semi-loose outline of the story)
Red, White, Blake, and Yellow trailers can stay. They’re perfectly fine as is, barring some early series production foibles (and the voice acting).
Series would be split into three arcs with three seasons each. 1. The School Arc 2. The World Travel Arc 3. The War Arc. (4. The epilogue season of mini episodes just to cap a few things off)
School Arc.
Season One.
Ruby is shopping.
Roman tries robbing the place.
Ruby gets involved because ‘fight good yes’.
Fights Roman and goons.
Beats goons but starts losing against Roman.
Glynda intervenes.
Roman am-scrays and Ruby is detained by Glynda.
This is not the first time Ruby has been called in like this.
She’s been doing free-lance vigilante stuff for a while now.
Tai comes in, worried to hell and back… again.
It’s almost routine by now, but he has a heart attack each time.
Ozpin gets wind of it this time.
Is impressed by her and offers her position at school.
Ruby says yes.
Tai says Ruby is too young to be-
Ruby says yes.
Tai keeps trying to argue-
Ruby. Says. YES!
She wants to be a huntress like her mother was more than anything else in the world.
Next few days is various entities trying to get Tai to greenlight the idea.
Ruby constantly begs, Yang says it’s a good idea, Ozpin is quite forward as to the benefits, et cetera.
Tai relents when Qrow calls him and argues that Ruby is never going to stop her vigilante thing and should at least be doing it legally and with training.
Tai tells Yang to watch over Ruby.
Yang only promises to try.
Ruby instantly loses her after they arrive at Beacon.
Yang tried, just not very hard. Wants Ruby to be independent, both from her and Tai.
Ruby meets Weiss.
Carefree and rebellious Ruby immediately clashes with stuck-up and bad-tempered Weiss.
Blake intervenes, slags off the SDC, everyone walks away annoyed.
Ruby meets Jaune.
Jaune is less bumbling.
More of an Octavian figure. Meek of body, but quite strong of tactical and strategic mind.
Jaune meets Pyrrha.
Has no idea who she is. Not all that into celebrity gossip, especially whole kingdoms away.
Comes off as polite and charming, if a bit oblivious.
Ruby encounters Blake on her own.
Says thanks for helping ward off angry Weiss.
Blake seems a little standoffish but Ruby’s infectious friendliness makes her give her a chance.
Have actual conversation about books.
Have minor debate over the exact meaning behind the symbolism of a character in a story.
Y’know, nerd shit.
Orientation.
Ruby and Weiss talk again.
Goes roughly as canon. IE: poorly.
Ren and Nora introduced, again, roughly as canon.
Ren talks a bit more, less of Nora motor-mouth with him just being there.
Have brief conversations with Jaune and/or Pyrrha.
Relic hunt starts.
Catapult!
Ruby and Weiss meet each other faster than usual.
Grimm show up and they kill them together.
Weiss calls her an idiot but agrees that she’s at least competent in a fight.
Blake and Yang meet each other.
Have actual conversation.
Blake tries to be standoffish and curt but Yang’s winning smile and corny sense of humor makes it hard.
Jaune and Pyrrha meet again.
Jaune has actual plan to get relic.
Have conversation about aura and semblances in a way that doesn’t make Jaune seem like he was dropped multiple times on his head as a child.
Says that he hasn’t unlocked his semblance yet, but he says that he scored high enough on his aptitude tests to make up for it.
Ren and Nora meet up because… well, duh.
Meet Jaune and Pyrrha and decide to team up to speed the overall process up.
Bumble into pissing off giant grimm.
Ruby and Weiss start arguing, come to brief blows even.
Teenagers, am I right?
Big grimm shows up.
They bond a little by fighting it off together.
Main characters start to coalesce at the relic site.
Future JNPR is there too.
Everyone has brief hello with each other.
The two large grimm from earlier show up.
Each would-be team gets one.
Happy teamwork scene.
Kill the grimm, get the relics, same old shit.
Teams RWBY and JNPR are made official.
Team CFVY are present as the designated senpai group.
Cue bonding scenes.
Ruby and Blake create book club with Ren, Jaune, and Yatsuhashi.
Yang, Fox, and Ren have Kung-Fu training scenes.
Velvet passes around the collection plate for Wild Call, a large and helpful faunus rights group.
Blake and Velvet are kind of tense with each other. No one knows why.
Then again, Blake is pretty tense with everyone, but especially Velvet and Weiss.
(Velvet knows that Blake is a faunus and dislikes that she hides it. Blake dislikes Weiss because Schnee.)
Ruby is happy to talk to Coco-senpai and her crazy purse mini-gun.
Nora, Yang, and Pyrrha have push up contest. Ruby wins.
Weiss helps Ruby study with things like flash cards, note taking strategies, and other things she ignores.
Weiss has tense moment or two with Ruby but Yang delivers some context as to why Ruby is so unruly.
Mom died, dad got WAY overprotective of Ruby and more than a little distant with Yang.
Ruby always wanted to be like her badass of a mother and saw their father as being in the way of that.
Weiss empathizes to a degree.
Weiss and Yang team up to be the semi-responsible ones for Ruby.
CRDL are cunts.
Act racist to Velvet.
Push Jaune and Ruby around a little.
Say ungentlemanly things to Yang and Pyrrha. (They do it to all of the girls, but to them the most)
Cunt stuff.
CVFY can’t do much because A. They can’t be brawling with underclassmen and B. They wouldn’t be able to not kill the little pricks and that’d be a bad look for them.
JNPR is just trying to ignore them.
This leads to a confrontation between CRDL and RWBY.
They make a bet over a set of sparring matches.
If CRDL wins then RWBY has to operate as their maids or something creepy like that for the school year.
If RWBY wins then CRDL has to fuck off for the school year.
Best of four matches with a team battle if a tiebreaker is needed.
Ruby actually loses to Cardin due to his tankiness, him being the most (IE: only) competent part of his team, and secret cheating.
Weiss beats Russel rather handily.
Blake loses to Dove due to him cheating and everyone still not noticing yet.
Yang traumatizes Lark as a warning.
Team battle!
CRDL takes an early advantage due to RWBY having some coordination issues.
RWBY figures out that CRDL is cheating via wire tapping into their team communications.
Ruby takes the reigns.
Coordinates with her team via code with an old inside joke to Yang, a literary reference to Blake, and one of those studying tricks to Weiss.
They act in ways that CRDL aren’t expecting and can’t cheat around.
RWBY wins.
Yang and Blake take CRDL aside and threaten them that if they renege at all they will make what Yang did to Lark look like a massage, not to mention telling the staff about the cheating.
They are scared into avoiding RWBY and co. where convenient.
CRDL slink off to be cunts elsewhere.
Pyrrha, because fuck ‘will they won’t they’, asks Jaune out on a date.
Jaune, breaking dense anime boy tradition, says yes.
They’re cute together and N+R support them.
Beginnings of Vital Festival starts.
Team RWBY sees Sun causing chaos.
He briefly introduces himself to them and then runs off to cause more monkey mischief.
SSN are right behind him and are rude bastards who don’t introduce themselves while fleeing the cops.
Penny meets team in glorious awkwardness.
Ciel, whom Weiss recognizes from Atlas (they went to the same starter school together), is constantly chasing after her and her antics.
Her other two teammates are just combat bots with special retrofits. (They’re prototypes for Penny)
Gives context of tournament and her place in it like an awkward robot would.
Weiss says something pretty damn racist directed towards Sun.
RBY call out Weiss on racism.
Blake gets angry with her.
The topic of the White Fang comes up.
R + Y both agree with Weiss that the White Fang are assholes, despite also condemning Weiss’ racism.
Weiss has horror stories about what they’ve done, including kidnapping her at young age.
Points to her scar for emphasis.
Blake can’t argue against what they’re talking about but counters with the horrible stuff the SDC has done across planet.
General scumbag corporate crap as well as paramilitary actions that break most international laws.
R + Y also agree with Blake that SDC sucks too.
Weiss is a little taken aback.
She genuinely had no clue that things like that were happening.
Blake lets slip that she was White Fang.
Runs off before people can react.
Team gives chase.
Blake thinks they’re going to turn her in and/or lynch her.
They only want to talk to her and get the full story.
Weiss is conflicted about things.
Sun finds Blake, says that he remembers her from a White Fang attack in Vacuo, despite the masks they wear, and wants some answers.
Sun says that general opinion among faunus (at least in Vacuo and Mistral) is that the White Fang are asshole supremacists that cause more problems than they ever solve or even try to solve.
Blake gets reality check about White Fang.
Confesses that she was involved with some acts of violence but thought it was for the greater good.
She makes a point of saying that she, herself, did not kill anyone. If anyone was killed it was not by her.
If someone died, then it was either an ‘accident’ someone else did or Adam swung the sword.
Also thought that the genuinely horrible stuff she heard was propaganda or just Adam being a dick.
It was said dickishness of Adam’s cell that was tolerated by larger organization that made her leave and try to repent.
She had no idea that Adam was only marginally more of a lunatic than other cell leaders.
Blake happens to see telltale signs of White Fang attack. Uses them as an excuse to change subject.
Sun gives her benefit of the doubt on her attempt at personal redemption and assists her in trying to stop terrorist plot.
Penny has nothing better to do so she gives Ciel the slip and starts helping Ruby look for Blake.
Have conversation about friendship, freedom, and weapons.
Weiss airs concerns to Yang about future of team.
She seems scared at the idea of losing a friend like Blake.
White Fang are taking orders from Torchwick and his goons.
Blake tries to appeal to their good side.
They call her and Sun race traitors and try to kill them.
Blake and Sun vs Torchwick.
Neo (Roman’s adopted daughter) shows up to help Torchwick.
White Fang go all out.
This is a problem.
RWY and Penny arrive to brawl.
Penny solves problems.
Sun and Penny take on the White Fang
Roman + Neo are final boss of season for RWBY.
Hard fought fight, but it is clear that RWBY is going to win.
White Fang have contingency explosive.
No one important dies, but Penny is grabbed by her superiors in the confusion.
Weiss and Blake confrontation.
Both apologize for the mistakes in their earlier arguments and for flying off the handle.
Both still have rose-tinted glasses about their respective sides but the tint is wearing off.
Blake stops hiding being a faunus because the rest of the world isn’t as horrible and racist as the supremacist terrorists told her it was.
Agrees to be more transparent to her team.
Weiss agrees that #notallfaunus and that the SDC has done some dirt.
Torchwick meets with mysterious benefactor about problems with latest job.
Cinder, Emerald, Mercury, and Adam tell him not to worry and that Evil Plan is still a go.
Season one done.

Ironwood newest actions make sense and here is why:
Many people saying bad writing and sure some of these things could have been better but what many seem to forget is that emotions still exist as well. Emotions like anger, hate, fear and exhaustion which all becomes worser with every hour they spend without sleep. We even saw Ironwood destroying his desk full of anger after again some of his plans doesn't work and this is his problem.
Than ever he plans something Team RWBY's actions interfer his and because of this he sees them as a threat and not only as traitors. He believes that his plans will only work if Team RWBY is out of the picture and this is his big mistake which ruins his plans.
All what Ironwood wants is the Winter Maiden so that he can lift up Atlas with the staff of creation and save its people. He doesn't care about Mantle because he thinks that Mantle's people can't be saved with the relic along with Atlas.
The plan itself already is very stupid if we think about it realistically because the people can't breathe if they are to high in the air, their resources like water, food, medicine and dust will run out and they won't get any new because Salem's forces will just destroy the airships and Salem could also try to shoot the flying island from the downside to destroy Atlas. Sure we don't know how much the Staff of Creation can do against it but we also don't know how much destruction the Sword of Destruction can do then it comes to destroying an enemy and Salem would move on if she can't get Atlas immediately.
But since Ironwood truly believes his plan would work, he needs the Winter Maiden at any cost.
Normally he would offer Team RWBY help like more airships for protection or for the evacuation as an exchange for the Winter Maiden which they might even take to protect the people of Mantle. But because of their betrayal, all their interfering in his plans and also the strong negative emotions, he believes now that working with them will only ruin his plans again and if they doesn't give Penny free willingly, he will take her by force by using Mantle as a hostage against them.
He knows that the SDC airships are actually good and not a threat to Atlas at all but he also knows he needs to do something before it's to late for his plan to work and using Mantle as a hostage is his only option right now. Ironwood doesn't know that Penny and the others are at the Schnee Manor otherwise he could send his forces there instead of using Mantle as a hostage.
This is his last chance to fulfill his plan and since he believes that without his plan everybody will die and only Atlas can be saved with his plan, Mantle is already lost for him. So using Mantle's destruction against Team RWBY as an ultimatum to save what he believes can be saved makes totally sense.
He could achieve his goal without all of that but after all what happens he is no longer able to understand that.
Ironwood is not a bad person. He trys to save people. He really believes what he does is right but after all the things that happen to him, he is no longer able to understand what is right or wrong. Back in the past he wouldn't do things like that but in the past nothing like all of this bad things happen to him to learn from it.
Team RWBY also isn't good or bad. Their biggest mistake was to not trust Ironwood with the truth at the beginning. They had a good reason to not trust him after all the bad things they saw in Mantle but they waited to long and this is what caused all of that.
None of them is good or bad. Both of them did just the wrong thing in the wrong moment because of mistrust and what they believe is right or wrong, which in the end made everything worser.
This is not bad writing.
This is normal human behaviour, feeling and thinking.
