every day I wish for a Taylor Doesn't Turn Herself In AU simply so she can interact with Accord. I want Taylor "raised by an English professor" Hebert to bond with Accord over ruthless supervillainy for the greater good, the importance of public infrastructure, and respecting good old English grammar.

Let me say this, Whether this Variant of Gwen Stacy is Trans or not, this is a headcannon but one message is very clear... "Protect Trans Youth!" 💖🫡
Also, I did the "Mood Ring" color palette from Spider-Gwen's universe for this.

"we still got it." "hell yeah we do." For the exes to lovers prompt :)
A continuation of this.
“We still got it," says Harry.
A snort rattles out of Ginny from her resting spot against his chest.
“Hell yeah, we do," she says, rooting higher, nuzzling his neck. "Although, I do hope you realize we're not ancient or anything."
"It's a good thing we got back together now, then," he says. “What if we were in our 30s? What if my knees had given out halfway through?”
Propping herself up on an elbow, hair wild and wonderful and taking over his entire field of vision, Ginny says with a devilish little smirk, "Halfway through that first round would've been, what? A minute in?"
Harry gapes at her, and Ginny falls over him, laughing.
"It's been ages!"
"I know, I know!"
"You can't expect–you got yours a minute in, as well!"
She's still laughing. "I'm not complaining!"
He's not hurt, really, but grumbles, "Sounds like it," mostly to get her to fawn over him, to keep her laughing, to see her eyes crinkled in delight.
He's warm here, under her, in her bed bathed in moonlight, a dream come true, can't believe he almost died without experiencing this.
Ginny kisses his neck, the little ticklish spot she discovered last year. He tries not to jerk too hard lest he jab her with his chin. "I missed teasing you. Missed you."
And the mood turns somber, as it often does these days, and she's back to curling into him, her breath fanning along his collarbone in short bursts.
He turns her into him, her skin like silk beneath his fingers, and Harry caresses whatever bit of her he can reach as he tips her face up to him and kisses her.
"I missed you, too."

I just saw the saddest comment and it's a very good example why we need to support queer youth and not teach them that their love is a gross thing that needs to be shamed

Hi guys! I'm currently working on a research project to do with young people's mental health. I'm collecting data and listening to young people's experiences to get a informed opinion on young people's mental health and what we can do to help change that. All information is anonymous, but if you'd like to help out please fill out the survey with your own experiences

anyway the concept of passing is a scam. we will never be liberated until the idea that a trans person's inherent value and worth and validity is directly proportional to their resemblance to a cis person. and i say this not just to those who struggle to or do not fit into that box, but to those who very much do and are counting themselves lucky.
the same way that its unhealthy and unreasonable to expect a same gender couple to conform to notions of what a heterosexual family should be, its unhealthy and unreasonable to have to expect a transgender experience of identity and a transgender body to conform to a cisgender ideal. not only does it further the marginalisation of trans people and drive a wedge in our community, but it's an unhealthy way to see the world and relate to yourself. its not fair to expect a human being to go their whole life in states of checking the value of their body and their life against a societally imposed, often unattainable model that may not even reflect their own desires or goals.
it's tough, i know how tough it is to go against everything you've been taught, and the right to seek medical intervention to reshape ourselves in a way that deepens and solidifies our connection to our bodies is and will always be important. but for your own mental health, whatever shape you take must reflect yourself first. not a cis persons. transition is about making a home out of the body you're living in, in whatever way works for you.
you deserve the mental freedom that comes with removing "passing" from your emotional radar entirely. trans bodies are good bodies.

I don't usually make posts like this, but this is serious.
I'm not from the USA, nor do I live there. I'm canadian, but I have friends and people I know that live there and this is an issue. I couldn't help with anything other then signing petitions, because at the time I wasn't sure if I should post these or not.
This is about KOSA. While I don't know much about it, heres what I've gathered from articles.
The "Kids Online Safety Act" (KOSA) is a bill that was introduced to the United States Senate in February 2022 and reintroduced in May 2023; the bill "sets out requirements" to protect minors from harm on social media platforms.
This does NOT protect minors from harm on social media. This limits knowledge and safe spaces for children and teenagers. Additionally covered platforms must provide minors (or their parents or guardians) with certain safeguards, such as settings that restrict access to minors' personal data; and parents or guardians with tools to supervise minors' use of a platform, such as control of privacy and account settings. This can and WILL put children in abusive households in danger, this will limit lgbtq+ children/teenagers access to safe spaces and resources even further, this will not HELP youths mental health nor provide them safety. This act may aswell be putting them in more danger because that is what it will do for multiple people. Children/Teenagers in abusive households will no longer be able to get support from online if they are consistently monitored, because whatever they say will be SEEN. Apps and websites such as tiktok, discord, ao3 and multiple others will likely be removed, shutdown, monitored or banned in the USA. This not only limits the ability to spread awareness, but give support and help others. The bill considers awareness of ED's, su!c!dªl thoughts, lgbtq+ and discussion of race (as phrased in an article) as "glamorizing" it or romanticizing it. While that can be the case, more often then not there is more awareness about how to help, learn and discuss these things rather then glamorizing them. Children/Teenagers 13 and under would be banned from any social media + their platforms, and teenagers until the age of 17-18 would need parental consent to be able to use these platforms.
here are some articles about Kosa.
This is not okay.
If you think this doesn't effect you because you are not in the states, then you're wrong. Even if it doesn't directly effect you, it can effect any and all of your online friends in and out of the states.
"What can I do?"
Spread awareness - make posts like this, reblog and like posts like these, share this on any possible media platform. Don't let them sweep this under the rug.
Sign petitions - Sign petitions, simple as that. I will have multiple petitions linked here. Some have the ability to donate to them if you can - even a dollar might help.
Do research - Research about KOSA, and then spread awareness.
Don't let them do this.
They are endangering youth all over the world. Su!c!d3 rates could and likely WILL skyrocket in youth from this because the online world is their safe place. Their support and their friends, and the information they get to help themselves exists HERE. Please spread awareness. Please add onto this and do research. Please correct me if I'm wrong on certain points, but don't let this be sweeped under the rug.
PETITIONS YOU CAN SIGN-

Today is #TransDayofRemembrance,
started in 1999 by trans activist Gwen Ann Smith as a vigil to honor the memory of Rita Hester. Now, it's held every year - because when we look at our trans history, it's just as important to remember the wins at it is to honor the losses.
HRC reports that at least 32 trans people were killed in the U.S. alone this past year. Take a moment to honor their memory, and commit to helping us teach LGBTQ+ youth (especially trans kids) that despite an increase in anti-trans rhetoric and legislation, they are worthy, they are valid, they deserve to live safely and fearlessly, and they belong here. 🏳️‍⚧️
Honor those we lost here.

Residential Treatment Facilities
In the state of Colorado, they decided they want to close down residential treatment centers across the state. Their goal in this, is to place foster youth with foster families instead of treatment facilities. As someone who grew up in foster care treatment centers, I have a couple thoughts about this. Hypothetically, this is good idea. Every kid deserves a loving family. What I don’t agree with, is pulling kids like me out of a traumatic situation and placing them with a family who are not trained or prepared to deal with aftershocks of trauma. I lived in an abusive house for 12 and a half years. When the state finally pulled me out, they placed me in a residential treatment center where I had access to 24/7 therapeutic services. Without those around the clock services, I would have committed suicide. I went through a phase where almost every day I was fighting to die. I did not want to be alive. If they had placed me in a foster home instead of a treatment center, I would have killed myself, and I would have burned out every set of foster parents they placed me with. You cannot expect foster parents to be able to handle a child with the amount of trauma and behavioral issues I had. That is a job for treatment counselors and therapists. I do not believe youth should be institutionalized to the point of not being able to function in a normal society, but I think youth need time and space to stabilize in a therapeutic setting before they are placed in a family. Otherwise, it will not work. You cannot expect parents to perform the same tasks as a therapist or a counselor. You have to pick one, you can’t be both a therapist and a parent to a kid. It’s unfair and unrealistic to the youth and the parents.
