Some random modern HotD headcanons :)

Hey y’all! So I kept thinking of some funny, and very specific headcanons for the HotD characters, so I decided to just make it a whole post. This will actually be my first “legit” post on here, lol! Anyways, this will include some headcanons about Aemond, Aegon II, Luke, Jace, Daemon, Rhaenyra, Helaena, etc. But hope y’all enjoy lol! :)

Ok, I am convinced that Aemond has a secret stash of tea hidden somewhere. He's even put them all in a very nice ornate, antique box. It's his guilty pleasure. He probably would have some Earl Gray, English Breakfast, maybe even some lavender mint for the evenings. He'd keep it secret because all the teas he's gotten are way too expensive, and special.

Luke is an avid Minecraft gamer. Like he's basically built Dragonstone, and the Red Keep in his server. He'll play sometimes with Jace, or maybe even Aegon. But he doesn't let them into that world. Aegon would probably blow it all up with TnT.

Speaking of gaming, I think some people are on the same page that Aegon would be some kind of gamer. He'd be up to date on all the new systems and gadgets. He'd be one of the firsts to have the PS5 when it came out. He probably plays a lot of Call of Duty. Maybe even some Valorant when he doesn't wanna fire up the PS. He'd definitely be cursing and yelling at the game, to the point where Alicent threatens to take it away.

While Rhaenyra watches her shows, House Wives, Rupaul's Drag Race, etc. Daemon pretends to be not interested, but really he's super invested. He'd be leaning against the couch, or the wall totally sucked in. And when Rhaenyra tells him to just sit down and watch with her, he's all like, "no no I don't even like this show". But then he'd say things like, "Well maybe if her gown was better made she wouldn't have been eliminated last episode".

Aegon gives me frat boy energy. And I know I'm not the first to say that lol. You already know he's planning all the parties, and picking the themes. I like to think he'd be very invested into picking the themes. They would be things like, dragon night, wear your fave dragon scale colors. Or something like, Dragonstone beach night, wear your swim suits and flip flops.

Alicent likes to knit. Or maybe crochet? It's her stress reliever activity after dealing with Aegon, and the rest of the boys. Helaena is always giving her new patterns or designs to try.

I think Alicent also likes to take the occasional Buzzfeed quiz. "If you were a cake flavor, here's what you'd be based on your star sign".

Helaena runs a very successful tik tok account. She'd post her outfits, and maybe some art or cool bugs she's found.

Aegon listens to a lot of Megan Thee Stallion and Kim Petras. He's blasting Kim Petras' Treat me like a Slut at least 5 times a day. He gets ready to it in the morning.

Aemond will get down to some Amy Winehouse.

Jace works at the local animal shelter as his summer job. He only got the job cause Rhaenyra said he needed to get out of the house. Plus Helaena also works there, so she helped him get hired.

Aemond would be a great bartender. Not with like actually interacting with customers, but he can make some great drinks. Like he's over here coming up with all these crazy cocktails. Although, like his tea obsession he keeps this on the low. He doesn't want Aegon asking him to make drinks all the time. Gods forbid he asks Aemond to bartend at one of the frat parties.

Helaena was a Monster High girl growing up.

Aemond has a motorcycle. It was his one rebellious purchase. Alicent hates it.

Luke can kick Aegon's ass in any game, video or otherwise. You name it, Call of Duty, UNO, Valorent, Go fish...

Rhaenyra has a bit of a sweet tooth, but she has to hide her candy stash, cause the boys will steal it in a heartbeat. Who would have thought Daemon would love lemon drops so much.

I really could go on forever, these are just too fun to write. But I'll leave it here for now lol.

My brain is bored and my mind is thinking

Say, we all know that Wednesday is lowkey spoilt right? She always expected things to go her way, you can see it in the way she barges into Weems office or how lil care she has whenever she shoves orders at the sheriff's face

So imagine what happens when someone ghosts her

It'd strike her pride because well, Wednesday is the best and she knows this. There would be no reason for why someone wouldn't listen to her nor would there be a reason for someone to... Ignore her like this either

Now that we got that, lemme set the scene

They're adults, no supernatural, just a completely modern au

Enid is an accountant. It's boring, not at all what she expects from when she was younger but all she has to do is calculate money and it's monotonous enough that she can go through days absolutely no thoughts head empty

It's not the future she wants but it's the future she got

Yoko, her lovely coworker notices how not so firey her seatmate is and offers a new chat app because nothing is as fun as deciding to troll random people

Enid squints at the name. "are you seriously telling me to E date right now?"

"pshhhh, ofcourse not!" yoko says unconvincingly. "just get on and play around with some people, maybe talking to someone other than boss and me could liven you up :D"

Enid stares, wondering how tf did yoko do that before sighing and downloading the app. "if I get doxxed, you're helping me move to a new house."

Yoko waves a hand before twirling back to her cubicle. "thank me if you find a sugar daddy!"

Enid flushes. "you know I don't swing that way!"

Yoko laughs.

The blond grumbles before tapping at the recently downloaded app. It's literally like tinder and Enid knows that this is a dating app trying to hide as something else

So in payback, Enid starting basing her profile of yoko. She wasn't petty enough to snap a Pic of her best friend so she went to Google and kind of try harded in making her profile look like an emo girl's aesthetic board

Huh, maybe yoko has a point, this is pretty fun

Oh for the days where Enid could make things, maybe she should pick up crocheting again. Tempting, she'll do that when she gets home

As soon as she was done, Enid began randomly swiping right with absolutely no care at all.

Enid still places her name as enid because.. Why not. By the time she finished her bio, she got too lazy to create a new name so actual name it is!

It takes a bit because apparently no one in this app likes edgy girls who enjoy dark walks, cadaver dogs and wine so dark red it looks like blood. Enid only liked one thing in that list and she wonders how did she become friends with someone with such concerning interests.

Honestly, now that Enid is think about it, her profile kind of sounds like a serial killer's. If they were dumb and was way too open about their interest, so it was no wonder no one was swiping on her

But as she was about to put the phone down and have some faith in people's taste in women, a match was made

Okay, concerning

Time to have some fun.

Immediately, Enid knew this must be some satire account because really? Wednesday A? Very interesting because she too didn't have pictures of herself, instead it was pretty good shots of a Gothic looking house, a lion?? A graveyard and a typewriter

Clearly they were trying to be all Dracula up in this place.

In the bio, it simply said

Well, no time like the present! Why not do some classic rp for the shits and giggles

So they start talking

Wednesday types like she doesn't know how to use simply words and well, Enid would've loved to reciprocate because damn the amount of immersion is impressive but after the fifth typo, Enid gave up

And oh, she's a woman

Enid kind of expected a dude to be trolling but when she went "hello good sir, what are you doing this fine day?"

She kind of chokes on her water when Wednesday replies with a "Its ma'am and the day is going quite horridly, the weather where I am at has the temper and I can not wait to experience it first hand."

Who in the nine hells says horridly??

But hey, Wednesday is rping a vampire, Enid can't be all pissy when she's good at it

So they text and they text for days. Maybe it's been a month and Wednesday is just as weird as always, no breaking of character at all and Enid can respect the dedication. Call it escapism but enid has fun acting like she totally would not grimace at the sight of a dead body when Wednesday talked in detail about her novel. From what she's sees, Wednesday sounds like she probably didn't have much friends due to her interests and Enid gets that, so there's no harm in indulging

Until one day, she gets invited out to hang with yoko for the weekend and since she was in such a hurry, she kind of left her phone in her house

Wednesday, old money and living in seclusion, Addams isn't taking that so well. Finally after decades, someone takes her being wholly herself and doesn't seem disgusted. Normally she didn't care, she joined this app simply because her parents insisted for some sort of social interaction outside of family

But enid was different, she didn't try to change the subject, instead she oohs and aaahs at any info Wednesday gives. It's.. Intoxicating when Enid points out how smart she must be to know these type of things. Actually! She wondered more about her family history and didn't sound at all surprised when Wednesday mentions their odd background.

"it's fitting," Enid types. "that you would come from such a strong family, I'm sure they're proud to have someone like you."

It makes a part of Wednesday soar so mayhaps she was going through something when Enid doesn't reply one day.

It goes like this

- Enid - Enid answer me, I know you never go about without your phone - Enid did someone kidnap you? I've gone through channels and none of them match your description - Have I done something wrong? Perhaps a slight that I did not know was a thing? -

"pugsley," Wednesday says, pushing open be door to his room. Her hand is tight on her phone before she slides it over with a tense jaw. "I need you to do find the location of this woman."

Pugsley peers at the screen, raising a brow at the rather nondescript pfp. In bold letters is the username: Enid

the brother agrees and just like that, Enid fate was sealed. The blond was absolutely unaware of what she just got herself into, far too busy spending time with yoko

Hey! I just wanted to let you know, while I think the moodboards you make are super cute and I do love them a lot, they're super disheartening to see.

All of them, are pretty much just stolen content? You don't bother crediting or sourcing anything on them, so they're basically all just photos/art that doesn't belong to you :(

The small artists who create the deco pacis, the plushies, the photography, deserve to be credited and not have their stuff stolen. Especially when they are products the artist is selling (deco pacis, crochet, handmade collars, etc.) they deserve that attention and credit.

/nm but I've just seen SO many people not caring to source their posts. I really encourage you to credit the posts you create.

Hello hello!! First off, I want to tell you that, for the most part, you're right! This is actually something I think about a lot, and I get where you're coming from. Most of the things I post are uncredited pictures, and I'm going to explain why in the best way I can. But ultimately, it's up to you whether this explanation satisfies you or not (if you have suggestions on how to fix it after reading this whole thing, let me know)!

For context, most of the stuff I post are pictures directly from Pinterest, a site that is notorious for being awful at crediting creators and making it difficult to find the original creators of things. I wish Pinterest was better at allowing people to trace the origins of images, and I would love it if I could find the original creators of every picture I use. Unfortunately, it is genuinely impossible to find the people who take most of the pictures on Pinterest a lot of the time (because Pinterest will show you the most recent saver of a picture rather than the poster, and if you do manage to find the poster, you never know if someone reposted a picture, so the person who you think is the creator actually is not). It's really not a matter of "I don't bother to"; it's that often I can't (this is why I try to avoid using art not made by companies because I'd drive myself crazy trying to find the artist)!

I also want to point out that none of the stuff I use is "stolen"! If you look at Pinterest's terms of service, every picture posted there is entirely free to use, sort of like a stock image, and I have to assume that the posters know that. (Legal talk and a simpler version pictured below)

Additionally, I do show products, but often not by small stores or creators. Most of them are literally product advertisements from large companies that will not take any financial hit from this at all. If you go onto Pinterest and look up something like "blanket," you'll find that it's almost completely large corporations! And that is almost entirely the selection of product pictures I use, especially for my petre boards, as I don't think I have any handmade collars in any of my boards, just commercially made ones!

The pictures that are from smaller creators, such as products, as you stated, can easily be traced back to the creators by downloading the picture and using the Pinterest or even google image search; sometimes, there's even a watermark to make things easier. And, if you ask me, I'll find the creator for you if it's possible!

As a small side note, I never take credit for pictures that aren't my own, and I don't make any money from this. I'm not receiving anything that the creators aren't, except maybe views. And, if people asked me to remove pictures they didn't want on other people's accounts shown on one of my moodboards, I would. I have never had that happen, however, and when people do recognize pictures that they made in one of my moodboards, they have only ever been happy to see them. Ultimately, this is a grey area for content, and Pinterest has no better alternative. This debate is also nothing new! People have been making moodboards long before my time and will continue to do so after I stop. And I'm not saying I'm perfect or that other moodboard creators take the same precautions as me, but I am doing my best to make moodboards in a conscionable manner! If you can't get behind it, that's okay!! I would also be happy to discuss this more with you if you want!

July 11th:

I finished up the final review and finally took the simulated exam. I was so surprised but I ended up making a 72 on it! Its known that the simulated exams are much harder than the real exam so to come within three points of passing on the simulation is incredible! But I can't slack off now. I'm going to spend tomorrow reviewing my mistakes and working through some of the more difficult portions and then take another simulation on Thursday. But now I know which parts of the material need my focus and that makes me so much more relaxed since I'm no longer just studying everything. I'm hoping to do four hours or more reviewing tomorrow!

Today's accounting topic: An auditor practicing in the United States may be engaged to report on financial statements that have been prepared in accordance with a financial reporting framework generally accepted in another country.

Other activity: I've started a thriller audiobook and I'm really enjoying listening to it while I crochet! Thriller books might just be more fun on audio than in book form haha

honestly doctor who! ahsoka having her own companion is very galaxy brain. i actually have some other suggestions for ahsoka time travel companions:

1) sabine

(she just becomes increasingly smug as the mission goes on and ahsoka keeps failing, then increasingly frustrated because she realizes that she is stuck with ahsoka. i do think she would shoot anakin or palpatine in at least a couple of the timelines.)

2) bo katan

(bo katan spends most of the time fighting with ahsoka and obsessively trying to obtain the darksaber. this backfires when anakin begins to suspect bo katan of being the secret sith lord. ahsoka and bo katan are forced to fake a relationship in order to get him off their back at one point. they accidentally become jedi-mandalorian married in at least one timeline before a humiliated ahsoka resets the timeline anyway. now bo katan is uoset because their fake marriage isn’t real anymore and brings it up saltily at least once every reset.)

3) kaeden

(no coherent thoughts just kaesoka 😔)

4) mace

(at first he is shook because of how truly degenerate some of the timelines get, but also he manages to kill palpatine in at least one of them and he’s pretty pleased with himself. other than that, i feel like he would take a “we should stay and fix the damage we’ve inflicted” approach as opposed to ahsoka’s “hit the reset button now” mindset. he would also pick up at least one hobby along the way, like idk crocheting or fishing)

5) yoda

(ahsoka spends most of the time miserably trekking around with a little green gremlin in her swagpack, aka swag backpack. he keeps giving her cryptic advice on how to deal with the situation until she realizes the best action is inaction. by the end, they decide to sit on the beach and just eat sandwiches together while they watch anakin throw a tantrum over the sand while obi wan sighs because he just wanted to try out surfing)

6) luke

(this is actually the canon backstory for how ahsoka and luke met. dave filoni just didn’t tell us because he didn’t think it was important enough to mention.)

7) count dooku

(this one doesn’t really have any explanation, i just thought it would be funny. bonus points because count dooku approves of obi wan but fucking hates anakin and so this is basically his personal hell. he nearly tries to kill ahsoka at one point, thinking that he will be freed, only to realize he’ll be stuck in the timeline with anakin and obi-wan forever. thus causing him to rescue her and hit reset. while ahsoka tries to matchmake anakin and obi wan, count dooku is constantly trying to break them up. at one point anakin accuses him of being homophobic and obi wan attends a support group for lgbt adults whose parents won’t accept their marriage and count dooku gets offended because he is NOT homophobic, he is just a hater. if anakin and obi wan have 1 opp, it’s count dooku. if anakin and obi wan have 1 million opps, it’s count dooku + an army of 999,999 droids. if anakin and obi wan have 0 opps, count dooku is dead. etc etc)

Note: I would put also R2 or Chopper as candidates but they don’t really seem like good companions to me on account of them being aggressively Dalek-coded.

i think all of these work in different ways and you have put it together so beautifully - i think it makes so much sense!

in my mind since none of this is really happening, ahsoka's companion could definitely change every so often as the Force pairs her with different people in an attempt to show her a different lesson....it's not actually the person but an aspect of their personality that could help ahsoka heal and maybe even appreciate the love obi-wan and anakin share

(except dooku. dooku wasn't supposed to be there and it's his actual force ghost. he's just such a strong hater that the force could literally not keep him out of this liminal space)

Hey guys! Uh I felt like I should say something about the fandom

This is gonna be long, sorry!

Heyyyy, sorry I've been so uhhh hardly active online...I've been trying to come back to posting online and stuff just idk it's been a pretty rough several months and every time I think my motivation is back enough it disappears. I'm currently tryna work things out in therapy as a result of how bad certain things have gotten in the last few months, I'm not gonna say what it was but based on my writing with a lot of focus on self harm and suicidal ideation, you can probably guess.

At this point I think I'm about to just not even bother logging into twitter anymore and pretty much use this and ao3 and pinterest and stuff (maybe occasionally instagram idk tho that place kinda sucks). It would probably help me be more active on here tbh since yall seem not really do a lot of the things that make my mh worst XD

Alright, anyway I'm currently editing a few different fics I've been working on for a while, several of them decided to be in the 50-100 page on google docs range whether I liked it or not, so that and my current disasterous working situation is why it's taking a ridiculous amount of time. If I had a functional posting schedule, ig I wouldn't be an ao3 user. I was gonna include a statement in one of them about this, but I decided this needed to be said here first

So I don't think I plan on leaving the dsmp fandom no matter what happens at this point. The average length of interest in a fandom is like what 10 years? Idk I heard that from some yt. If so, I'm approaching the halfway mark with the dsmp, which is insane to think about, and I don't plan on jumping off that train any time soon. The stories were intriguing and the cc's and their characters and music and stuff have gotten me through the lowest points of my life, so it's very hard to forget that.

Even if the cc's turn out to not be great, I still have their characters, and I'm not willing to give up this coping mechanism just yet because I feel like not having one when everything else in my life seems to be going to shit wouldn't be that great

I see it like if you liked a character in a movie and the actor that played them turned out to be bad, would you still like the character? I would.

cc!Wilbur turned out to be a shitty person. His song about being a wanker and a fucking waste of time was in fact spot on. Fuck that guy. I'm done with his stuff but I'm still gonna write his character

There are a lot of things erupting on twitter right now, I'm not sure what's going on and I do Not have the mental fortitude to find out at this point. I can't say I believe everything because after the Dream situation last fall...I'm just holding off my judgement for now. I'll probably go looking once the dust starts to settle but right now it's all a huge mess and everything is up in the air

I can't guarantee anything at this point, but I will most likely continue to write c! stagedduo and most likely draw and crochet them. I do not have another coping mechanism and the brainrot over the story of the dsmp will likely not go away

Uhhh really sorry I keep falling off the face of the earth, but I think I'm back now. I don't know what the future holds, but this is probably gonna become about the only social media i use now and I think i might just make an alt account or something for my other art so i can stop posting on instagram all together hopefully. Everytime i open that app it makes me more sad and then I never get around to opening this

Due to the severity of what I mentioned earlier, I'm just going to say that I'm not feeling like *that* right now, I feel like I'm actually very gradually starting to get out of the not great mental state I've been in for basically since high school, but I'm not gonna let twitter and the potential of social media harassment fuck that up, so from now on y'all are gonna be like 90% of my social media interactions most likely and I'm not gonna let whatever the hell twitter does in the next few weeks take my favorite characters from me.

I love c!Dream and c!Punz. Their dynamic is excellent be it drunz or stageduo. I'm gonna keep writing them.

They look like the cc's but they still very much exist separately of them (irl Dream isn't getting tortured by irl Quackity and Sam or anything lol).

So whatever ends up happening, imma be here most likely. So for those of you who'd like to join me, hey! For those of you who can't take it anymore, I understand.

Oh and for those of you who've been drawing/writing/whatever any cc's who are currently accused or exposed or anything, I encourage you not to delete or destroy your work, you worked hard on it! If you don't wanna look at it rn, put it away for now. If it's character based especially! Don't let the actions of others or the vitriol of twitter take away your favorite characters!

He is a vegetarian

He is gay and demisexual

Basil isn't his birth name, he chose it when he realised he was ftm

He has freckles over his cheeks and nose becuse of how much time he spends in the garden. In the winter they fade a little bit

After the good ending he dyes his hair blue

He has dyslexia and adhd (this is literaly just me projecting)

He prefers cats over dogs and ends up adopting a ginger cat. He calls it tomo

Has a Nintendo switch that he saved up for, his favorite games are stardew Valley, coffee talk, deltarune, and botw

His Polaroid camera broke so he gets a new digital one

He has a bit of an obsession with scented candles and owns too many. Most of them are some kind of forest scent

He drinks peppermint tea religiously

Is actually a really good cook (not as good as hero but still close)

Has really cold hands so he wears gloves/hand warmers in the winter

After the good ending he becomes really close with sunny again.

Loves studio ghibli, his favourite film is 'when marnie was there'

Sometimes writes letters to sunny instead of texting him. These letters will have photographs in and pressed flowers etc.

He has his ears peirced. Aubrey went with him to get them done.

Wears gold jewellery instead of silver.

Has really old friendship bracelets he never takes off

Tried to learn how to crochet but couldn't focus on it long enough

He listens to cavetown and mitski (and taylor swift but that's his secret)

Carries around crystals for luck

He only ever wears converse and has had the same pair for years. He can't let go of them.

Still sleeps with stuffed animals

Hums to songs when doing jobs

Always forgets to do homework so he ends up doing it last minute, on the bus.

Can't go anywhere without headphones, like is never seen without them

Sometimes when he needs advice he will call hero. (His older brother fr)

He visits maris grave often to place flowers for her. He still feels guilty for what happened but knows she would have forgiven him and sunny so he tries to not give himself a hard time. He often tells her about how sunny is doing.

Plays genshin and mains venti

He has blonde eyelashes and eyebrows that match his hair naturally

Had to have braces at one point

Watches horror films alone for fun. (Everyone finds this a bit disturbing but it's harmless)

Will cry when he finds anything overwhelming, positive or negative.

Wears cardigans all the time, some of them are from his grandma

Really loves sweet food and doesn't like sour things at all

Has a surprisingly high spice tolerance and will eat spicy food without any problems

He's a little bit afraid of dogs but gets over it when he gets to know them

Shows up early to everything so he can't be late and miss out on something.

Loves bugs, especially moths. he takes pictures on his phone whenever they land on him.

Spends most of his time at school in the library as he doesn't have many friends there. (Aubery doesn't bully him anymore after the good ending but has a new friend group, kel also has a new group)

Goes to therapy now !!!

Relationships with the main cast after the good ending :

Aubery - doesn't bully him anymore and talks to him outside of school (Took him to get his ears peirced and helped him with dying his hair)

Kel - not close anymore, they don't speak often but he will always say hi when seeing him.

Hero - becuse he is at college they don't see each other often but they have exchanged phone numbers and basil calls him often.

Sunny - similar to hero becuse he moved away but still extremely close with him. Basil considers him still to be his best friend. They call often and meet whenever they can. (Honestly he still has a small crush on him)

I'm so happy you liked Swan lake so much!! It's one of my flop fics that ppl don't talk about as much, like I get double the comments for Vows and Reverence still every day, MONTHS after writing them and Swan lake is always kinda forgotten 😭 Which is a shame bc I really put my whole kenjakusbraincumussy into writing it, like I was writing it really intensively for days on end 😭

See I was thinking about how Vows Sukuna would've disposed of reader. I don't think he would eat them just bc at the point when they die there's really not much left to eat of them 😭 Maybe he'd keep one of their bones as a souvenir. Like a little rib of theirs maybe. I'm not sure if he would make a funeral, but if he did it definitely wouldn't have included many people, maybe just the servants that were really close to reader. I think he would cremate them with his fires, that would be a nice personal sendoff.

Sukuna being cultured and a man of the arts is just my favorite thing because it's so subversive. He's a big ass guy who also happens to look like a monster, is known only for his strengths in the battlefield and how funny is it to come into his house and see pretty paintings and statues and his personal little orchestra of musicians and dancers that keep him entertained when he's bored?? How funny is it to imagine him closing a book and being like that one was a banger.

ABOUT THE PAINTING S/O... I draw as a hobby and I absolutely think about this all the time 😭 But I must admit I've thought more about the other way around where Sukuna commissions an artist to paint reader so he can always remember their beauty even when their little human lifetime passes, so their face can always grace the hallways of his mansion and people who walk buy can wonder, who is this pretty person? Why are there so many paintings of them everywhere? AHHH Sukuna 💔💔

A quick guide to Nutty’s blog

Hi, everyone, new and old to this blog.

Been meaning to write this up for some time. Finally just sat down and wrote stuff because it needs to be done since I’ve recently been posting a few more things in one topic and a few less in others.

This blog started off as a fandom blog. It still is. You will see fanfic and art from the amazing Thunderbirds fandom, both mine and others posted here regularly. Along with prompts, discussions, challenges and other shenanigans. Love da Thunderfam.

If you haven’t already worked it out, Virgil is my fav Tracy brother, but love them all really and write them all to varying degrees.

However, I also post art and craft here, so you will see some of that. Some of you may have followed me recently for this reason. If so, welcome!

One handy thing to know is that I’m a librarian and this blog is tagged within an inch of its life. So with a little fiddling with Tumblr, you can follow/block any tags of mine you want to, or don’t want to see.

Nuttyfic is where you will find all my original posting of my fic (except the very early ones - it took me a bit to clue on that I might want to find my stuff one day.

Nuttyfic reblog is where I reblog my previously published stuff at a whim or because I wanted to at some point. These are all repeats and formatted differently from my new fics. you can block this one if you find them annoying.

“Why can’t you just tell him how you feel again?” Grimm groaned as he watched you staring longingly at Cater during an unbirthday.

“Because I don’t know if he feels the same and if he doesn’t after I confess, then it’ll be awkward for the both of us.” You sigh, tearing your gaze away to see an unamused Grim.

“You humans and all of your complicated feelings. If two people like each other, then they should just say it.”

“Grim, you realize that depends on the situation, right?”

“I mean towards this one involving you and him.” he grumbled before he started to eat one of the treats.

Before you could retort, you heard someone call your name and it was Cater. Smiling brightly as he approached while you were panicking internally about how to interact with him while trying not to make a complete fool out of yourself.

“(Y/N)-chan! Wanna take a picture with me?” He asked with a smile that made you swoon.

“U-uh, Sure!” You stutter with a small smile and you lean closer, smiling brightly.

He takes the picture and checks it as his eyes sparkle. Internally, your heart is beating like crazy and the butterflies were extra active today. “You having fun, Cater?”

“Definitely, I’m glad you were able to come. Ever since you started coming, the unbirthdays have been more interesting and worthwhile. Oh, look like Trey-chan needs me. Enjoy the celebration, (Y/n)-chan)!”

Once he left, your face was flushed and internally, you were screaming. This man is precious and what have you done to deserve him? Who knows? (Y/N). Exe has crashed.

The celebration went on and you played a couple rounds of crochet with Riddle before you offered to go help Trey with something, you insisted since its the most you could do. While you two were finishing up cleaning dishes, Trey brought up your crush since he overheard you talking about them during the party. You talked about it for a bit before saying you’re sure Cater wouldn’t like you that way.

“Cater? Oh yeah, he does like you.” He responded, turning his gaze to you, laying your head on the island of the Heartlabyul kitchen.

“Don’t tell me what I want to hear, Trey, or you’ll get my little hopes up.” You whined before hearing Trey chuckle, causing you to lift your head up. “Is my distress providing you entertainment, Clover-senpai?”

“Now now, let’s not pull out the last name,” He negotiated, lifting his hands in a surrendering position. “Cater always goes on and on about you and how cute you are.”

“I should have known that the ones with lovable faces can fool anyone.”

“Do you really not believe me?”

“Trey, you almost tricked Ace, Deuce, and Grim about oyster sauce on the first day.”

“Don’t you ever look at Cater’s magicam account?”

“Yeah, how can I resist looking at his handsome face.”

“Jeez, you’re blinder than me,” Trey sighed, the urge to throw something at him was getting real tempting. “Caption in this picture is about how cute you are.”

Trey places his phone in front of you, showing you a picture of you two at the unbirthday, and pointed at the caption.

I’m wearing the smile you gave me.

Disbelief, you scroll down to another photo with you in it. This time it was you in your NRC birthday suit and the caption read,

Is there anything better than being here with you?

You look back at Trey, smiling with a smug ass smirk, and hand his phone back before grabbing your own phone and getting up to head back to Ramshackle.

“What are you doing?”

“Thinking about how I’m going to confess, thanks Trey. You should have “matchmaker” under Baker on your business card in the future.”

As you walked back, you were scrolling through your gallery to find a picture of Cater. There were so many, but you finally found the one to post. The picture was the one you took in Alchemy with him sitting on a stool while waving at the camera. You fit the image and type at the bottom of it your short confession.

Youruesername: I love you more each day, Handsome.

You tag him and post it then put your phone in your pocket then continue to walk, using it as something to distract you, to admire the semi-familiar scenery.

You arrive back at Ramshackle to see Grim, pass out on the couch, and smile before covering him with a blanket then heading to put the leftovers in the kitchen. You put your phone on the counter and place the leftovers in the fridge before hearing a ping. You close the door and look to see a message from the man in question, you unlock your phone to see his message.

OC Introduction: Part 3

The next character entry for my new WIP project last mentioned in part 1 is Angelica "Angie" Moore, Derek's daughter. Angie is the second to last character of the main cast for this project, so I'll probably put OC intros for this project's supporting cast on hold while I work on entries for FCi3 which has a much larger main cast.

Note: Angie is a newer character of mine that I’m still developing, but here's what I've got for her so far.

Angie Moore (She/Her)

Age: 17 || Birthday: November 23rd ♐ || Traits: Gregarious, Cheerful, Goofball || Height: 5'6"ft || Pronouns: She/Her || Sexuality: Heterosexual || Occupation: Student/Barista (fingers crossed) || ethnicity/nationality: Irish/Italian-American

After being cooped up at home for almost two years with her dad and growing apart from her old friend group mid-pandemic, Angie is itching to get out and make connections with new people. Now that she has her own car and a bank account, Angie is really looking forward to finally doing more of those “normal,” independent teen things, like hitting up her favorite thrift stores on her own, or visiting her boyfriend’s house, and hopefully soon, she'll be working at her favorite coffee shop as a barista. But in the meantime —as she works up the nerve to actually submit her application— she'll be enjoying her winter break, just her and her dad again this year… or at least that’s what she thought she would be doing.

Following a sudden phone call from her dad one night, informing her that on his way home, he found a homeless woman in need of a place to wait out an incoming winter storm, following a police raid on the encampment she was staying at earlier that evening. Excited to meet someone new, Angie jumps right into helping her dad make the women, named Morgan, feel at home, even trying her best to convince her dad to let her stay at least for the holidays, but Morgan seems anxious to leave as soon as possible, which sucks because Angie was really hoping to have a girl’s night.

FUN FACT: Angie is pretty handy and has picked up a wide assortment of skill is her short 17 years. She crochets, makes her own jewlery from sculpey clay and wire, and she even taught herself to cut and dye hair during the pandemic. In fact, she does a good enough job at it now that her dad still asks her for his usual trim even though he actually needs to leave the house now.

Dumb rant abt a blanket commission i really fucking regret accepting

So I have a very straightforward method for pricing all my crochet stuff and I have a calculator that helps me do it right? Its literally just My hourly rate and yarn costs and a markup for taxes. And i usually round to the nearest clean number for the sake of cleanliness.

And that makes pricing plushies and stuff so EASY because i know everything already. Ive made the pattern I know how long it took me.

My issue is when it comes to shit ive never made before. I mainly make plushies, i like patterning them and working with shapes, I dont really enjoy making garments or blankets and stuff. But like moneys hard and when my dad approached me like hey i have a friend who wants to get blankets for his grandkids, i went why not.

It went from two baby blankets to two throw blankets (a massive fucking increase i didnt account for) and i had no idea how long it would take or how much material it would take, and NOW im sitting here, having been paid, having half finished one of the blankets, and im realizing how severly ive undercharged myself and I have !! no one to blame but myself!

I did the math and i SHOULD have charged a minimum of $220 per blanket and instead i charged $160 for TWO. and im sitting here with $60 in my pocket for 40 hrs of work and i want to fucking die ($100 in materials)

Blankets are such a mind numbing creation process too I just do not enjoy doing row after row of the same stitch, it just doesnt bring me joy, and at this point im half tempted to finish the blanket i started and refund the amount for the second one, since I just DONT want to make it. But if i did i would be sitting here $20 down the drain and 20 hrs in the gutter because i already spent the money on materials.

This is like,,, precicely why I dont like doing commissions for family/family friends because theres all this guilt n extra emotions tacked onto it and UGH. I just want to make stupid chilchucks and sell them is that too much to ask.

Silly little vent below the line :3 feel free to ignore it

I kinda feel like- i don’t deserve the kind of relationship I want??

Like- id love love love to be taken care of and not have to worry about working but idk i just- being taken care of is a lot to ask for me

I need help doing basic functions sometimes and taking care of myself. Im probably going to have a lot of medical for the rest of my life. The cost of living these days is fucking astronomical. I feel like id really just be more of a chore to someone else at that point

Of course I want to be able to work and be independent. I’ve considered becoming a nail tech or an accountant. But realistically- im not sure if im going to be able to. Im going to have flare ups and bad days and i cant just dip when that happens from a job but i also cant use my only energy on working.

I’ve considered using my hobbies as a side business kind of?? Baking, crochet, makeup, hair, nails, that kind of stuff. Its all stuff that’s profitable if i manage to get the right footing. But thats unreliable. And ive considerdd going on disability which will probably happen but thats still not tjat much money.

I dont want to become a burden for someone i love but I cant see that not happening??

Not to mention all of the trauma i carry around with me and everything that comes with that.

And ofc I know that if someone isnt going to want to be there for me and help me then theh dont deserve to be with me but i dont get to see myself through anyone elses eyes. I know id make a good partner and im actively working on myself so I can be in a healthy relationship in the future. But idk how successful id be at being independent. Amd I dont want to have to be dependent on someone else. And evem if someone was ok with that the amount of reassurance id meed that its actually ok would be fucking astronomical.

Ive just- never met anyone thats been willing to put in that kind of work for me. Even on a lower scale of being friends. Everyone leaves for one reason or another. And i know sometimes its bc i was shitty or whatever- no ones perfect and mot everyone is meant to be friends with each other. But sometimes its bc who i am is just too much. I dont want to keep going through that. It sucks.

I know i deserve to be loved amd feel cared for. And that ill be able to find someone like that. I just think its kind of hard to see that sometimes and right now is one of those times and it really hurts.
